Transcript
- 0:00Speaker: Good morning.
- 0:01Speaker: There's so much to know, to share, to become more aware of.
- 0:06Speaker: For instance, a little thing of interest for me today has been thinking about the sun, of the photons that are arriving from the sun are reaching even the darkest places on our earth.
- 0:21Speaker: Those on the opposite side, those in nighttime, with the bulk of our planet in between the sun in a direct line, and this opposite side, always changing, with the earth rotating a thousand miles an hour.
- 0:38Speaker: The point being, is just a curiosity of knowledge.
- 0:43Speaker: Things are much more than we suspect them to be.
- 0:48Speaker: The air glows with the solar energy built up during the day.
- 0:54Speaker: The molecules of all different kinds are excited during the transmission when the ultraviolet heat is more direct.
- 1:04Speaker: Then through the night, this energy is dissipated as something called air glow.
- 1:10Speaker: And reflections, upper atmospheric reflections of the direct line of sight.
- 1:17Speaker: As these particles then settle, energy, light is born, even in the darkest reaches.
- 1:26Speaker: So it is raining all day, is what my point originally was to make.
- 1:32Speaker: It is always raining energy upon you and me.
- 1:37Speaker: This is the point.
- 1:38Speaker: And yet, like so many other things, we come out of our own senses somewhat ignorant of the realities of being alive, of what it means, of all the different avenues or journeys one can make during their life of inquiry, acknowledgement, receptivity, accepting, responding.
- 2:09Speaker: All of these different things are occurring simultaneously across time and space everywhere.
- 2:16Speaker: Think about it.
- 2:17Speaker: Are the people on the other side of the planet from wherever you are that different?
- 2:23Speaker: Culturally okay.
- 2:25Speaker: Language, yes.
- 2:27Speaker: Possibly physical appearance from clothes, but also from differences in environment?
- 2:34Speaker: Do we not all love our families the same?
- 2:38Speaker: Do we not all wish our friends and our relatives success and happiness?
- 2:44Speaker: Do we all wish our governments would do a better job of governing and helping and being full of common sense?
- 2:54Speaker: Those characteristics or qualities we call virtues, for we don't find much communication of positive newsworthy items, representation of what's going on in our world, the news.
- 3:11Speaker: Where are we?
- 3:13Speaker: What are we?
- 3:14Speaker: We are bundles of miracles.
- 3:18Speaker: We are millions of years old.
- 3:21Speaker: We can do this, yet we need try.
- 3:25Speaker: We need make an effort.
- 3:28Speaker: One need practice with one's heart and mind, self-improvement.
- 3:35Speaker: We have in essence infinite possibilities, and yet we muddle about, behave childishly.
- 3:45Speaker: We forget ourselves constantly.
- 3:49Speaker: We need not doubt our capabilities, but encourage potential.
- 3:58Speaker: We need assume individual, unique, virtuous responsibility, stewardship for our own behaviors, the way we interact with any and everyone, children, babies, teens, adults, other species, other participants in our world.
- 4:25Speaker: It is important we view everything for what everything is, a bundle of miracles.
- 4:34Speaker: Everything has place and value.
- 4:43Speaker: Ask a frog who's eating mosquito larvae in a pond.
- 4:51Speaker: He likes mosquitoes, etc.
- 4:57Speaker: Everything has a place.
- 5:00Speaker: Does that mean that we shouldn't be thinking of change?
- 5:03Speaker: Because change is everything.
- 5:05Speaker: We can improve.
- 5:07Speaker: You cannot remain the same.
- 5:09Speaker: Or you can digress, you can have a negative consequence, or positive consequence, as we suggest, as common sense dictates.
- 5:22Speaker: And yet each need to take this individual sense of responsibility to higher levels, and those who disrupt need to be penalized as an incentive, the negative incentive, no doubt, of consequences beneath the dignity of someone more aware.
- 5:49Speaker: We need to do a lot of soul searching and thinking.
- 5:54Speaker: We need to do a lot of building not only of our world but of our minds, of educating ourselves, of broadening our perspectives.
- 6:07Speaker: This is what mindful meditation is.
- 6:11Speaker: Everything under the sun and far, far away from the sun as well.
- 6:18Speaker: Across galaxies, time.
- 6:21Speaker: This is what knowledge is.
- 6:24Speaker: This is what our brain is dealing with every day, this experience being built moment by moment as time progresses.
- 6:33Speaker: It is your data bank or ours.
- 6:37Speaker: We need to be wiser, communicate, cooperate, collaborate, compromise.
- 6:44Speaker: These are important words and symbology attached.
- 6:51Speaker: Compromise, common sense.
- 6:55Speaker: People, all of us, we need to grow up.
- 7:04Speaker: This is the bottom line.
- 7:07Speaker: If you do not know how to focus and concentrate and clear one's mind enough to think actually on one's own rather than in an egotistical fog of pursuing what others might be thinking, being unsure of your thoughts of your own.
- 7:28Speaker: Hit the pause button, Breathe.
- 7:34Speaker: Hit the pause button, follow the rhythm of your own heart's circulating rhythm, of pumping, easing, and pumping again.
- 7:46Speaker: Feeling the pressure through one's body of this pulsing sensation while you are breathing, doing both.
- 7:55Speaker: In awareness, focus and concentration, practicing.
- 8:00Speaker: This is a beginning of meditation right here, right now, this way.
- 8:07Speaker: Do this on your own.
- 8:09Speaker: Do it for five minutes.
- 8:11Speaker: Learn the fundamentals of being aware.
- 8:18Speaker: This is what this will help one learn.
- 8:21Speaker: One feel.
- 8:23Speaker: The music continues for another minute.
- 8:28Speaker: Use this as one's springboard.
- 8:31Speaker: Have a fabulous day.
- 8:34Speaker: We are so lucky.
- 8:36Speaker: The photons from our sun are such a gentle rain upon our skin.namaste
