- 0:00David Friedman, BS: Hello.
- 0:00This is Dr.
- 0:00David Friedman, host of Tega Health Radio.
- 0:03I've interviewed dozens of leading doctors on this show, and when we talk
- 0:07about heart health, the conversation always centers on the usual suspects,
- 0:11diet, exercise, and weight management.
- 0:14But today, we're approaching heart health from an entirely different angle.
- 0:18One that most cardiologists never address.
- 0:21On this episode, you're gonna learn how emotional pain from
- 0:24your past could literally create a protective wall around your heart.
- 0:29This wall blocks your ability to give and receive love, experience
- 0:33joy, and reach optimal health.
- 0:35And joining us to discuss this fascinating neuroscience proven focus.
- 0:39Is a listener favorite.
- 0:41Dr.
- 0:42Bradley Nelson is back in the house.
- 0:43He's a holistic physician and author of the new book, the Heart Code.
- 0:48He's here to share how trapped emotions form what he calls a heart
- 0:52wall, and more importantly, how releasing these emotional blockages
- 0:56can transform your relationships, your health, and overall wellbeing.
- 1:00Stay tuned this to heart.
- 1:02Conversation starts now.
- 1:15Our next guest is a renowned holistic physician and one of the
- 1:18world's foremost experts on natural methods of achieving wellness.
- 1:23He's touched the lives of over 500 million people through more than
- 1:271,700 media appearances worldwide as CEO of Discover Healing.
- 1:33He's a global visionary leader in root cause and personal transformation.
- 1:38His previous bestselling books include the Emotion code And the Body Code.
- 1:42His newest book is called.
- 1:44The heart code, the breakthrough method to open your heart and transform your life.
- 1:49Welcome back to the show, Dr.
- 1:51Bradley Nelson.
- 1:52Bradley Nelson, MD: Well, Dr.
- 1:53Friedman, thanks for having me, uh, back.
- 1:55It's great to be here.
- 1:56David Friedman, BS: Yeah, always great having you on there.
- 1:58Like I said, you're a listener favorite, so I, I love how you, you share such
- 2:01compelling, great, inspiring information.
- 2:03And now your previous books, you focus on cracking the codes
- 2:06for overall health and emotion.
- 2:07Share with us what led you to write the heart code.
- 2:11Bradley Nelson, MD: Well, you know, it's an interesting thing.
- 2:13The heart is, as you said, usually thought of in terms of
- 2:18diet and exercise And so on.
- 2:20But if you go back a few thousand years, the ink.
- 2:24Civilizations around the world believed that the heart was much
- 2:29more than what we've thought.
- 2:31they believed the heart was the seed of the soul, the source of love, and
- 2:35creativity and romance, the heart.
- 2:38well, somewhere over a hundred years ago, we discovered that the heart has a lot
- 2:43of gray matter and white matter in it.
- 2:45The same material that makes up the brain.
- 2:48they called that the little brain in the heart, and they didn't think
- 2:51too much about it until, around 1991, people began to understand
- 2:56that this brain in the heart, which consists of about 40,000 neurons, is
- 3:02actually a completely separate brain.
- 3:05From the brain That is in our heads.
- 3:08So we're all walking around with two brains.
- 3:10And when scientists actually looked at the communications between the brain, And
- 3:15the head, And the the brain And the heart, they found much to their surprise that
- 3:19the vast majority of the communications between those two brains were actually
- 3:24going from the brain And the heart.
- 3:26To the brain in the head, leading scientists to believe that somehow the
- 3:31heart is exerting this control over the brain that's in our heads and telling
- 3:37the brains in our heads what to do.
- 3:40Well, we talked last time about emotional baggage and how we all develop emotional
- 3:45baggage And what emotional baggage is, and how it consists of these.
- 3:50Energies that we were beginning to experience, that we either buried because
- 3:54we didn't want to go there or that were overwhelming because something terrible
- 3:59happened, someone died or someone was in an accident or someone asks
- 4:02someone else for a divorce or whatever.
- 4:04or sometimes we take an emotion that's coming up for us And
- 4:07we artificially enhance it and make it overwhelmingly powerful.
- 4:10The reality of it is now, in this year, 2026.
- 4:14We're now understanding that emotional baggage, which is something
- 4:17that we've of course referred to.
- 4:19for many years, usually in private conversation, in
- 4:22reference to someone else, right?
- 4:24That's got issues, that that emotional baggage is actually real And that
- 4:29it's having an enormous effect on us.
- 4:32That it is the underlying primary cause of things like depression and anxiety.
- 4:38Phobias and panic attacks and, PTSD and eating disorders and
- 4:43self-sabotage of all kinds.
- 4:45And, it also is an underlying cause of.
- 4:50Most of the physical pain that people experience, which is an amazing statement,
- 4:56but we actually now know That is true.
- 4:59we've certified over 15,000 practitioners now in the emotion code
- 5:03and 108 countries around the world.
- 5:05And we're all finding the same thing and have for many decades
- 5:08now, that, um, physical pain is largely caused by emotional baggage.
- 5:13So that pain that's in your neck right now, that might relate back to
- 5:16your divorce or maybe when you were bullied as a child, or that low back
- 5:19pain might be when you were accused of cooking the books or something
- 5:22at some point or something else bad happened So that brings us to the heart.
- 5:27know, it's very interesting back.
- 5:29I remember as a kid in the sixties being very, very interested in medicine.
- 5:32And I remember when they did their first heart transplant
- 5:36and it was, big news worldwide.
- 5:38Well, what I didn't realize until many years later was something
- 5:42that doctors found out when heart transplants began to become routine.
- 5:48And That is that oftentimes patient's would come back to the doctor
- 5:52and they would say things like, doc, something weird's going on.
- 5:55I feel better with my new heart, but now I love classical music
- 5:59and I can't get enough of it.
- 6:00And certain passages I just play over and over.
- 6:03And I never used to like classical music.
- 6:05meanwhile the spouse is kind of rolling their eyes thinking, yeah, can you get
- 6:08this guy to, turn off the classical music?
- 6:11Or people would say things like, you know, I love baseball now.
- 6:13I never cared for it before.
- 6:15Or My taste in food or sports or, something has completely changed.
- 6:19In fact, sometimes people would have memories of being in places.
- 6:22That they never in their life had ever visited after their heart transplant.
- 6:27So somehow those memories came with the heart.
- 6:31And when doctors would connect these people with the family of the
- 6:36heart donor, they would inevitably find out things like, well, yes,
- 6:41our son was a baseball player.
- 6:42Now you love baseball, you didn't before.
- 6:44Well, and his heart's beating in your chest.
- 6:45Maybe that's why.
- 6:47my favorite, story.
- 6:50About this heart transplant phenomenon.
- 6:52And there are books written about this, by the way, it's called Cellular Memory.
- 6:56It's from a young girl, nine years old who, received, a transplanted
- 7:00heart from another young girl who had actually been murdered.
- 7:03And after the heart transplant, she began having the same horrific
- 7:09nightmare every night, and she dreamt that she was being killed.
- 7:14And her descriptions of the murderer as well as the murder weapon.
- 7:19Led to the arrest and conviction of the killer of the donor.
- 7:24Think about that.
- 7:24She was literally seeing the murder of this other girl.
- 7:28Those memories came with that heart.
- 7:30It's amazing stuff, isn't it?
- 7:33David Friedman, BS: It is, you know, and I was gonna bring that up.
- 7:34So glad you did that.
- 7:35The heart store is more than blood.
- 7:36It contains consciousness.
- 7:38Even a phobias, memory, talents.
- 7:40it's amazing.
- 7:41Now, I've had so many doctors on the show, we discuss the gut brain connection.
- 7:44So common, I'd say probably every third guest brings it up and how our
- 7:48gut functions is the second brain.
- 7:49But you are shining a light on something people aren't talking about first.
- 7:52Here on this show, the heart brain connection, your book shares how the
- 7:56heart sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart.
- 7:58So my question to you is.
- 8:00Would you consider our heart, the body's pilot and our brain, the co-pilot
- 8:04when it comes to decision-making?
- 8:06Or are they 50 50?
- 8:07Bradley Nelson, MD: Ideally, we should be living from the brain That is in
- 8:11our heart because it's that heart brain that operates on the basis of
- 8:17love and forgiveness and affection.
- 8:20Think about it.
- 8:21When you fall in love, it's the brain in your heart that's doing, that's
- 8:24not the brain that's in your head, but what we have found is that.
- 8:29When we experience heartache, when we feel like our heart is going to break
- 8:35because we're really being deeply hurt or we're deep in grief, something bad's
- 8:39going on that's a physical sensation, and that's where that word heartache.
- 8:45Or heartbreak.
- 8:46That's where those phrases words come from, right?
- 8:49Because of that physical sensation And the, ancients knew this thousands of years
- 8:53ago, And that helped lead to all of their old ideas about the heart being, all of
- 8:59those amazing things, the seed of the soul, the core of our being And so on.
- 9:03But what we have found is absolutely earth shattering, and That is that.
- 9:11The subconscious mind will put up a wall around the heart when we feel
- 9:16like our heart is breaking, and most of us have felt that sensation at
- 9:19one point or another, like there's an elephant sitting on our chest like
- 9:23we can't breathe because what's going on is so hard when that's happening.
- 9:29Because the heart is everything the ancients believed it to be.
- 9:33The subconscious mind will begin to put up a wall around that
- 9:36heart And that wall is invisible.
- 9:38It's like an invisible energy field, And that wall is made
- 9:41of layers of emotional energy.
- 9:44So the trapped emotions, the emotional baggage you've accumulated
- 9:48up until that point will be used to build a wall around your heart.
- 9:54Now, because the heart is.
- 9:57Everything the ancients believed it to be.
- 9:59When you have built up a wall around your heart made of negative emotions
- 10:05like anger and resentment and grief and sadness and sorrow And so on, what
- 10:09happens is it makes it much more difficult for you to really follow your heart.
- 10:15You know, when we graduate high school or college.
- 10:17That's great advice, right?
- 10:18Somebody tells us you should follow your heart, and that's absolutely true.
- 10:22But the problem is if you've got a wall built up around your heart, it
- 10:25makes that much more difficult now.
- 10:29By the same token, when we fall in love, we don't fall in love because of what's
- 10:33going on with the brain In our heads.
- 10:35We fall in love because of the heart, brain, And so when we have a wall built
- 10:44up around our heart, it becomes much more difficult for us to find love, to
- 10:48stay in, love, to fall in love to find our soulmate, And we have many, many
- 10:53stories of this in the Heart Code book.
- 10:55Of how people were able to get rid of that wall of energy around their heart.
- 11:01Then how love showed up in their lives, or creativity showed up in
- 11:04their lives, and they were able to have the very best creative ideas of their
- 11:08lives after that wall was taken down.
- 11:11And so Dr.
- 11:12Friedman, the amazing thing about it is we have found that about 93% of people
- 11:16have put up this wall around their hearts.
- 11:2093% of people in this world are walking around with an invisible force field, a
- 11:24wall around their heart, made of energy.
- 11:28And they don't even know it.
- 11:30This is very different, of course, from Western medicine, but if you think about,
- 11:34some of the smartest people on earth And what they've said about medicine, Albert
- 11:39Einstein said, the medicine of the future will be the medicine of frequencies.
- 11:43Think about that.
- 11:45it was Nicola Tesla that said, if you wanna understand the
- 11:47secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy frequency.
- 11:52Vibration.
- 11:53And we're moving now into the 21st century and we're beginning to
- 11:58really, truly understand we are divine beings, that we're beings
- 12:03of pure energy, that our emotional baggage is having a huge effect on us
- 12:08mentally, physically, and emotionally.
- 12:10But also that when we feel like our heart's gonna break, we'll put up a wall
- 12:15subconsciously we don't even know it.
- 12:17But, um, that wall is gonna interfere with health physically, it's going with our
- 12:22ability to find love and to create the life that we're really, truly capable of.
- 12:26And that's what this new book, the Heart Code is all about.
- 12:29In fact, it's a method.
- 12:30Anybody can pick up this book and learn how to get rid of their own heart wall.
- 12:35they can do it themselves or they can, we have lots of
- 12:38practitioners around the world.
- 12:39They can find someone that can help them, as well.
- 12:41David Friedman, BS: And what age can heart walls be forming?
- 12:43Can children develop them or is it something that you found
- 12:46typically occurs in adulthood?
- 12:48Bradley Nelson, MD: Yeah, the first person that we found, that had
- 12:51put up a heart wall was my wife.
- 12:52And it began at two years old.
- 12:55She was born into very volatile family.
- 12:57Her father was kind of a rageaholic, And so at about age two, her subconscious
- 13:03mind decided that she needed some protection, or her heart was gonna break.
- 13:07And so she lived with that wall all of her life and battled with depression
- 13:11and anxiety and never really felt like she belonged with any group she was ever
- 13:15with until that wall was taken down.
- 13:17And then her whole world began to shift.
- 13:20not unusual for people to fall in love also who never thought they would.
- 13:25so it's an amazing thing.
- 13:26The hardest thing about writing this book was sifting through 10,000
- 13:29testimonials from around the world to see which ones we were going to include.
- 13:33but it is truly an amazing phenomenon that people need to know about.
- 13:36David Friedman, BS: Yeah.
- 13:37What about when it's the heart wall is released, can it come back?
- 13:40Is there any type of like maintenance?
- 13:42Is needed to prevent forming new barriers.
- 13:44Bradley Nelson, MD: Yeah, once that wall is taken down, it's always a good
- 13:46idea to go back every few months and just check and see how things are going.
- 13:51If you go through a difficult situation again, it's possible that
- 13:54you might have put up another layer.
- 13:56See, initially the heart wall is made from anywhere from one to
- 14:00maybe 20 or so emotional layers.
- 14:03And So, it might take a couple of sessions, maybe a week at
- 14:07the most to get through all of those so that that wall is gone.
- 14:11then just coming back periodically and checking it to make sure
- 14:14that, it stays gone is a good idea.
- 14:16David Friedman, BS: Yeah.
- 14:17Now this process that you identified of releasing Hurt Walls, can you
- 14:20give our listeners just like maybe a brief overview of how it works?
- 14:22Is it affirmations?
- 14:24Is it, The meditation, what's a little bit about the process involved?
- 14:28Bradley Nelson, MD: Yeah, absolutely.
- 14:29Well, I was a computer programmer, starting out in, uh, about 1980.
- 14:35And so I was very involved in computers and had been for a long, long time.
- 14:38When I became a doctor, it slowly began to dawn on me that, Within
- 14:42every patient that I was seeing was a computer of sorts that eventually I was
- 14:48able to learn how to communicate with.
- 14:51And, the reality of it is that every single one of us has this.
- 14:55Google within us, the, you can call it the subconscious mind or the spirit, whatever
- 14:59you want, but that internal computer system within each one of us knows exactly
- 15:06with a perfect understanding what we really need, if we have a deficiency
- 15:11of a vitamin, if we've got emotional baggage, any of those things and more,
- 15:15the subconscious mind knows those things.
- 15:17And so what we do is we teach people.
- 15:20In the Heart Code book And in our other books, how to actually
- 15:23access this internal computer, which knows with a perfect
- 15:27understanding exactly what we need.
- 15:30It knows all about your emotional baggage.
- 15:32It knows if you've got a heart wall.
- 15:34one of the things that we like to recommend for people is to first
- 15:36of all recognize that it's very likely about a nine out of a 10
- 15:40probability that they do have a heart wall And that it is affecting them.
- 15:45and, it can be interfering with their full expression of their life and their ability
- 15:51to give and receive love And so on.
- 15:53That's the first thing.
- 15:54And then picking up a copy of the Heart Code book is really the best
- 15:58way To really learn how to do this, and you can do this on yourself and
- 16:02you can do this with other people.
- 16:03It's not affirmations.
- 16:04Really what it is instead is it's a matter of, learning some very
- 16:08simple ways to get yes and no answers from the subconscious mind.
- 16:14Now, in the Heart Code book, we teach a couple of methods.
- 16:16one of those is with finger testing where you make a ring.
- 16:20with one hand with your thumb and forefinger, And then with
- 16:23the other hand, you put a finger or two, through that loop.
- 16:27And then when you ask questions and try to break that loop, if the answer
- 16:32is yes, that loop will stay strong.
- 16:35and if the answer is no, the loop will break open.
- 16:38because the body's slightly weaker when the answer coming
- 16:41from the subconscious mind is no.
- 16:43Now, another thing that we teach is something called the sway test, where,
- 16:46you'll find that if, if you stand upright, you drop your hands down by your sides and
- 16:50have your your feet about shoulder width, the part and close your eyes if you,
- 16:54think about things that are positive.
- 16:57What will tend to happen is your body within about three to 10
- 17:00seconds will tend to sway forward.
- 17:03If you think about things that are really negative, like war or things
- 17:06like that, your body will tend within three to 10 seconds to sway backward.
- 17:09And we found that you can use this, capacity of the subconscious
- 17:14mind to actually get answers.
- 17:16So you can pose questions.
- 17:18A question that you might ask is, do I have a heart wall?
- 17:22Just stand there, very relaxed.
- 17:24And your body may within three to 10 seconds sway forward for you.
- 17:27Nine outta 10 times it will.
- 17:29And then we have a chart of emotions.
- 17:31People can Google this online.
- 17:33the, uh, I emotion code chart and there's lots of them out there.
- 17:37We also have something called the Immersion path, that's a free program
- 17:41right now that walks people through.
- 17:43this whole process of how to release their first trapped emotion, and that's
- 17:47available at, discover healing.com.
- 17:50David Friedman, BS: That's great.
- 17:51I know some of the benefits you mentioned.
- 17:52Who doesn't want this increased emotional openness?
- 17:54Improve creativity, better relationships even enhance physical wellness.
- 17:59I'm curious, how long does it typically take for somebody to see
- 18:02these changes after wall's released?
- 18:04Is it instant or is it ongoing process?
- 18:07Bradley Nelson, MD: it's very interesting.
- 18:08It's instant for some people.
- 18:10for some people it takes weeks.
- 18:11For some people it takes months so we just never know.
- 18:15But, one of the most fun things that we see is where, people fall in love.
- 18:20who never thought they would.
- 18:20In fact, one of our practitioners was telling us how.
- 18:23Her sister called her up one day, year or so ago she'd been divorced
- 18:27for nine years and she said, listen.
- 18:29Sis, I'm tired of being alone.
- 18:31I've gotta find somebody.
- 18:32I don't wanna be alone anymore and I'm not getting any younger.
- 18:34Would you come work on me, see if I have any emotional baggage?
- 18:37And so the two of 'em got together, spent a couple days together the weekend.
- 18:40Didn't really tell anybody else what they were doing, but sure enough,
- 18:43this sister had put up a wall.
- 18:45Everybody that goes through divorce has put up a wall and it makes it
- 18:48harder for them to find the next love.
- 18:50so they were able to get that heart wall cleared.
- 18:53Guess what happened the next day?
- 18:56the phone started to ring.
- 18:57Now remember, neither one of them had told anybody what was going on, but now
- 19:01suddenly when that wall is taken down, that pure energy, the pure essence of,
- 19:06of her core was going out into the world.
- 19:09And, communicating itself.
- 19:11And then there were guys that hadn't talked to her in years
- 19:14that, uh, that week called her.
- 19:17And it's an amazing phenomenon, but, you know, there was a book written by a Dr.
- 19:20Um, Rupert Shere called Dogs that know when their owners are coming home.
- 19:25some people said, well, dogs know that dogs go to the window or they go to the
- 19:29door when they hear the owner's car.
- 19:31And other people said, nah, it's gotta be something else.
- 19:33And they actually studied this and they found that no matter what time of the
- 19:37day, it was the moment that the owner started thinking about going home,
- 19:43that's the moment that the dog would go to the window or go to the door.
- 19:46How does that work?
- 19:47How is that being communicated to the dog?
- 19:49Well, Dr.
- 19:50Sheldrick calls it the Morphic field it's the field that connects
- 19:54all of us and connects everything.
- 19:56it's invisible to us.
- 19:57But that's how that was working for.
- 19:58that woman.
- 19:59And, it's an amazing thing.
- 20:00But there are lots of fun stories like that in the Heart Code book.
- 20:02And if people want to, they can go to, of course the book's available
- 20:06on Amazon, target, Barnes and Noble.
- 20:09But if they wanna go to, my personal site@drbradleynelson.com
- 20:13and use the, the code.
- 20:15Good health.
- 20:16in all caps, they can get some really nice gifts and discounts.
- 20:19In fact, if you buy five books, you get a free heart wall session from one of our
- 20:25practitioners, somewhere in the world.
- 20:27So
- 20:28David Friedman, BS: Fantastic.
- 20:28I gotta say something interesting before you brought up about the dog, like 20.
- 20:31Seconds prior, my dog came up right here by the mic.
- 20:34He must've known you were gonna say that
- 20:36Bradley Nelson, MD: awesome.
- 20:37David Friedman, BS: story was like up there, like, wait a minute.
- 20:38That's kind of interesting.
- 20:39But I thought I'd throw that in.
- 20:41One thing that puzzles me And then maybe other's, is all these folks that
- 20:44who've achieved remarkable success, they built financial security, they
- 20:47checked all the boxes, yet they still feel emotionally stuck or disconnected.
- 20:51How is it possible for someone who, appears from the outside to
- 20:54have everything still be carrying that kind of emotional blockage?
- 20:58Bradley Nelson, MD: Well, most people have a heart wall And that we all have
- 21:01emotional baggage and, we're amazing.
- 21:04As human beings, we are able to, achieve amazing things in
- 21:08spite of being blocked that way.
- 21:11But, you know, when you have a heart wall, it makes it much more
- 21:14difficult for you to really feel love.
- 21:17To give love because love's an energy as well as being a verb, and it also
- 21:23makes it more difficult for you to really, to really manifest the true,
- 21:27best creative, best life, best destiny that lies within your own heart.
- 21:33I think there's a blueprint inside of every one of us for
- 21:36the best life that we can live.
- 21:37And when you've got a heart wall, it just makes it so much more difficult.
- 21:40It's not that we can't achieve success, it's not that we can't find love, but.
- 21:45We have to work at it a lot harder than we should when we
- 21:49have put up a wall like this.
- 21:52so getting rid of the heart wall just makes things easier and, it
- 21:56also has a tremendous effect, when you have a heart wall.
- 22:00A tremendous negative effect on health because we are beginning
- 22:04to understand that with every beat, the heart is communicating
- 22:08to all the cells of the body.
- 22:10And when you have a heart wall, then that communication becomes interfered with.
- 22:16And getting rid of that wall.
- 22:17And I have seen this in my own practice where just getting rid of the heart
- 22:21wall has had an immensely powerful effect on every organ and gland and
- 22:26chakra and meridian in the entire body.
- 22:29I've seen it over and over again.
- 22:31David Friedman, BS: Yeah, so true.
- 22:32I know there's a lot of talk in the news about environmental
- 22:34toxins and how they affect.
- 22:35Our biological systems.
- 22:37I'm curious, do you see any connection between toxic burden, inflammation,
- 22:40and maybe nutrient status and someone's ability to form or release heart walls?
- 22:46Bradley Nelson, MD: Well, you know, I'll tell you what's interesting is
- 22:48that, emotional baggage interferes with, you can think of it as interfering
- 22:52with the expression of life, period.
- 22:55When you have an emotional energy trapped in the body, wherever it is, you can think
- 22:59of it as being like a ball of, emotional energy, like anger or grief or whatever.
- 23:05That's about the size of an orange to the size of a grapefruit,
- 23:09and these are invisible.
- 23:10Can't see them, but we all have them.
- 23:13And wherever these are, the energy field within that little
- 23:17sphere of emotion is going to be interfered with to some degree.
- 23:21So the chemical reactions taking place in that area are a little
- 23:25altered, blood flow, lymph flow altered to a little degree.
- 23:29the flow of acupuncture, meridian energy through an area like
- 23:32that can be completely stopped.
- 23:33And so.
- 23:35When we remove the emotional energy, then suddenly that area can breathe
- 23:40again and function normally, and that's one of the reasons why it's
- 23:44not at all unusual for physical pain to disappear often instantaneously.
- 23:51When an emotional energy is removed, I've seen it countless times.
- 23:54It's just unbelievable.
- 23:55And that's one of the reasons why I left practice, 22 years ago now, to get
- 24:00this message out to the world because people have to know This is real.
- 24:04David Friedman, BS: Yeah, definitely is.
- 24:05I'm curious, you've mentioned so many testimonials.
- 24:07Is there one that's real dramatic transformational story that you witnessed
- 24:11when someone's heart wall was released?
- 24:12Anything comes to mind that's like, ah, that's one of my favorites.
- 24:16Bradley Nelson, MD: of my favorites is a woman that came in to see me.
- 24:19She had really, uh, pretty severe neck pain.
- 24:20It was about a nine on a zero to 10 scale.
- 24:23She'd seen a couple of other doctors for it.
- 24:25And, as I was talking with her, she told me that she was 38 years old.
- 24:28She was a nurse and she said she had not dated in eight years and
- 24:32was never going to date again.
- 24:33She was going to die.
- 24:35Single woman live her whole life, single.
- 24:37And she was an attractive woman.
- 24:39And I said, well, can you tell me why, um, how did you arrive at this?
- 24:42And she said that eight years before, she was really deeply in love with this
- 24:46guy that dumped her and broke her heart.
- 24:48Well, I tested her and found.
- 24:50That she had put up, a wall around her heart made of these trapped emotions.
- 24:56In fact, there were three trapped emotions making up this wall, and
- 24:58each one of these trapped emotions had actually become trapped in her body
- 25:03during the breakup eight years before.
- 25:05So I cleared those one at a time.
- 25:06It probably took me about, I don't know, maybe five or six minutes.
- 25:09And when we cleared the last one.
- 25:12Her heart wall was suddenly gone.
- 25:14And guess what the neck pain went with?
- 25:16It went from a nine to a zero Instantly.
- 25:19She was so excited.
- 25:20That's what she'd come in for, the neck pain and it was gone.
- 25:23So she got what she wanted and, she didn't come back for about three months.
- 25:27And I'll always remember I saw her in my, in the hallway of
- 25:30my office And in our clinic.
- 25:32And I said, Hey, I remembered her immediately and I said, Hey, how are you?
- 25:34What's going on?
- 25:35She said, you know, my neck has been fine since I was here.
- 25:37But she said, you cleared that heart wall from me.
- 25:40And that really works.
- 25:42She said, about two weeks after I was here, I found out my childhood sweetheart
- 25:48has been living right around the corner from me for almost eight years, and
- 25:54we're dating and we're in love, and I think he's gonna ask me to marry him.
- 26:00And I thought, wow, that's a nice shift.
- 26:03David Friedman, BS: It sure is.
- 26:05That's, uh, I'm curious, how do you distinguish between healthy.
- 26:08Additional boundaries, which we kind of all need, and a
- 26:10heart wall that's limiting our capacity for connection and joy.
- 26:15Bradley Nelson, MD: Well, boundaries are important and I think that's something
- 26:18that a lot of people don't realize.
- 26:21one of the things that you learn when you start.
- 26:24To, release your own emotional baggage is you, you learn how important it
- 26:28is to kind of be in control of your emotions, because oftentimes we
- 26:32develop emotional baggage because we.
- 26:34think that our emotions are controlling us, not realizing that
- 26:37we really can control our emotions And we can choose what emotion we're
- 26:41going to feel in response to any particular thing that comes along.
- 26:45But, the amazing thing that I have learned over all these
- 26:48years, 37 years now, as a holistic doctor, is that, we just are
- 26:53absolutely clueless by and large.
- 26:55about the effects that our emotional baggage is having on us.
- 27:01And for example, in almost four decades now, every disease process
- 27:07that I have seen has had an emotional component to it, every single one.
- 27:13In fact, sometimes there have been cases where I really do believe that, A
- 27:18disease was caused solely by an emotional experience that was not processed.
- 27:25And that emotional energy is having such a huge effect on the body
- 27:29that it's finally manifesting.
- 27:30You know, I think that, eventually things that are going on within the spirit of,
- 27:34the human being eventually, manifest, as physical, as mental, as emotional issues.
- 27:42This is something that's, I've been doing for a long time.
- 27:44I've done probably around 1700 interviews now.
- 27:47Talked to half a billion people around the world, and I'm gonna keep doing
- 27:50this until the day that I die because.
- 27:53The word about this has got to get out to the world, and it's not going to
- 27:56come through Western medicine because, they're doing their thing with drugs and
- 28:00surgery And so on, and, and that's fine because that's always going to be needed.
- 28:05But the reality of it is we are.
- 28:07Divine beings.
- 28:08We're waking up to that fact and we're waking up to the fact that, our emotional
- 28:12baggage is the single biggest common denominator for all of our physical
- 28:17and mental and emotional issues.
- 28:18Think about that.
- 28:19I mean, there are people right now that are listening to this show that
- 28:23are in pain, and I can guarantee you there is an emotional component to that
- 28:27pain and getting rid of that emotional component can get rid of that pain.
- 28:30And that, can be.
- 28:31gee, just the other night I was talking to a group of about 300 people, maybe 400.
- 28:36And, uh, a woman came up out of the audience.
- 28:38Her neck pain was a nine out of 10.
- 28:41I said, how long have you had this pain?
- 28:42She said, five years.
- 28:43And I said, well.
- 28:44Did something happen five years ago?
- 28:46She said yes, she was robbed, And so I cleared a couple of trapped
- 28:50emotions about the robbery.
- 28:51Every time we'd clear a trapped emotion, the pain level would go down, And then
- 28:54we found the very last emotion that got her to a zero on the pain scale,
- 28:59but it wasn't about the robbery.
- 29:01It was something that had happened before she was even born when
- 29:05she was in the third trimester.
- 29:08Her mother was experiencing an intense emotion of heartache about
- 29:11something that she was going through, And that emotional energy became
- 29:15absorbed by that baby's body.
- 29:17And so she had had that all of her life.
- 29:20And when we cleared that, the pain finally went to zero after
- 29:23five years, at a nine outta 10.
- 29:26I mean, This is not unusual.
- 29:27And the beauty of the heart code is that, people can do this themselves.
- 29:31It's not difficult.
- 29:32It's actually really simple.
- 29:34David Friedman, BS: Yeah, that's great.
- 29:35I know most doctors that I mentioned in the intro, you know, including
- 29:37cardiologists, they focus diet, nutrition, weight loss, exercise.
- 29:40Are any of these things important when it comes to locking the hard code?
- 29:43Or can you have somebody who's just super fit, super healthy, still locked up?
- 29:48Bradley Nelson, MD: Well, yeah, absolutely.
- 29:49It doesn't really matter.
- 29:50I mean, if you've got a heart wall, it doesn't matter what your diet is like.
- 29:54I mean, obviously you want to have the best diet you can.
- 29:56You can have.
- 29:58get lots of sunshine, plenty of fresh water, exercise, et cetera,
- 30:02but those things are not going to remove the emotional baggage that
- 30:06you have built up around your heart.
- 30:08Maybe when you were a kid and you used to cry yourself to sleep at
- 30:11night, or maybe, maybe it began from a breakup in junior high.
- 30:15That's the reality.
- 30:17all of those things are important.
- 30:18Yes.
- 30:19But, you know, I've seen many cases where people were suffering from some kind of
- 30:23a disease process, and, releasing the emotional energy that's always present
- 30:29in every disease process, has been enough to help them, to assist their
- 30:34body, to be able to finally get over it.
- 30:36Because, you the reality of it is, all of these external things that we do,
- 30:41the drugs that we take to try to help things, the food, everything else.
- 30:45None of those things really, take the place of.
- 30:50The body's ability to heal itself.
- 30:53emotion code, the body code, the heart code, the belief code, the work
- 30:56that I've been able to bring into the world is really all about one
- 30:58thing, and That is just removing the blockages that are in the body's way.
- 31:03that divine body that we all have has this innate ability, this incredibly
- 31:08powerful ability to heal itself.
- 31:11And so.
- 31:12Removing the things that are in the way can facilitate that healing.
- 31:15And that's what This is really all about.
- 31:17And emotional baggage is a huge component.
- 31:19David Friedman, BS: So there, so walking on the treadmill,
- 31:21doesn't matter if you don't.
- 31:22To get that emotional exercise for your heart.
- 31:24so true.
- 31:25'cause people will see, heart code.
- 31:27Oh, it's all about exercise.
- 31:28I do that.
- 31:29It's just so much deeper and I think it's more profound when people
- 31:32can really just get that release.
- 31:34And I can see it happening pretty instantly because people don't realize it.
- 31:36When you say, Hey, here's your issue, boom.
- 31:38The walls, it's released.
- 31:40it's fascinating.
- 31:41I'm curious, when someone gets a copy of the book, will they have all the
- 31:44tools they need to crack the code?
- 31:45Or will they need to find practitioners trained in your
- 31:48methods for additional care?
- 31:49Or can it just be self-care?
- 31:51Bradley Nelson, MD: No, if people pick up the heart code, everything is in there.
- 31:54The whole method, the heart code is really a subset of the emotion code.
- 31:59That's the book that came out in 2007 and.
- 32:02how to get rid of the heart wall is included in the emotion code book.
- 32:05But we wanted to write another book to really shine a bright light on
- 32:09this heart wall phenomenon because it gets a little bit lost in the emotion
- 32:13code and people don't realize how just unbelievably powerful This is.
- 32:19People have told us that for the first-time when that wall is taken
- 32:22down They know what it's like to feel the emotion of love or joy.
- 32:26People have told us that for the first-time in their life, when that
- 32:28wall around their heart is taken down, they can feel the love of
- 32:33God, the higher power for them.
- 32:35I think how profound That is.
- 32:37David Friedman, BS: That's amazing.
- 32:37you've reached millions of people globally with practitioners in over 90 countries.
- 32:42When you look at the ripple effect, I'm curious, you know, families
- 32:45healed relationships restored people reclaiming their capacity for love.
- 32:48What does that mean to you personally?
- 32:51You must sleep good at night.
- 32:53Bradley Nelson, MD: Well, yeah, it's, absolutely just the
- 32:55most astonishing thing to me.
- 32:57When I was in practice, all I wanted to do was just help my patient's
- 33:01as best as I possibly could.
- 33:02And I was studying everything that I could to try to help them.
- 33:05Ancient things, new things, things that might have been frowned upon At one point.
- 33:09I, I would try anything it was a matter really of prayer too.
- 33:13I was, I had a moment of silence before I would work on any patient.
- 33:18And, nobody knew what I was doing, but I was asking God to
- 33:21please help me with this person.
- 33:23And there were times when information would flood in from up above about what
- 33:28to do, how to help this person, and.
- 33:31It was really an amazing thing.
- 33:33And so I learned for myself that, when we ask, we do receive, And that
- 33:36higher power God or source energy, whatever you, you know, however you
- 33:40wanna refer to it, I refer to God as father in heaven is always there.
- 33:44It is always available.
- 33:46It is always listening.
- 33:47So when we ask for help, that help is there.
- 33:49It doesn't always come in the way we expect sometimes that help comes
- 33:52through other people, and sometimes it comes later than what we hope
- 33:55and want, but, it always comes.
- 33:58so that's really been a part of this.
- 34:00And so for me, This is really a mission.
- 34:03this world has to change.
- 34:04This world has been bouncing around in these very, very low vibrational energies.
- 34:10like hatred and resentment and on and on for all of these
- 34:13centuries, since the beginning.
- 34:15And this world has to change And that change is imminent, I believe.
- 34:19And so, we do that.
- 34:21we achieve that change by.
- 34:23getting rid of the emotional baggage and by opening the heart
- 34:26really of one person at a time.
- 34:29And as we do that, there is a net effect that as they begin to rise in
- 34:34their own vibrational levels, the whole world begins to raise its vibration.
- 34:39And pretty soon, we're not stuck on the rocks anymore.
- 34:42Pretty soon mankind is beginning to ascend.
- 34:46the world that's coming, I think is a world that, it is gonna be
- 34:48unlike any world we've ever known.
- 34:49I think We're gonna have to go through some things to get there.
- 34:52But, you know, all the holy man and all of the, prophets and, Sears throughout
- 34:57thousands of years have seen our time, I believe, and they've seen this happen.
- 35:02And so, I think that this work is part of that giving back, this healing
- 35:06birthright to everybody that they come into the world with, to be able to heal
- 35:10themselves, by and large, to heal their family members, to heal their loved ones.
- 35:14there's always gonna be a need for western medicine.
- 35:16But outside of Western medicine, there is an awful lot that can be done
- 35:20just by removing emotional baggage.
- 35:22We see relationships healed, we see families healed.
- 35:25We see all kinds of amazing things happen and people can do that themselves.
- 35:29Or, like I said, the information is all in the Heart Code book about
- 35:32how to get rid of your own heart wall and other people's as well.
- 35:35But if you go to discover healing.com,
- 35:37you can, find a practitioner that can work with you.
- 35:40And because This is quantum, healing, really it's energy medicine.
- 35:43it's not bound by any kind of distance.
- 35:46you might find that, the person that you really like to work with, maybe they're in
- 35:49Singapore or maybe in Berlin or something.
- 35:52but we've got a map of people all over the world there.
- 35:55And if you wanna get a copy of the Heart Code book, of course they're available
- 35:58on Amazon, Barnes and Noble target.com.
- 36:00But if you, go to Dr.
