- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: I've seen some things.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Seen some things that make your toes curled.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: Let me tell you that.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: But only between like Milan and the Italian countryside, nowhere else.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: I um we did we were a bit late, weren't we, with this episode?
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we um said it was gonna be a two-week break.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's been a three-week break, but it was needed, guys.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Jules was at her wit's end.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: At my wit's end, just splashing around the legurian seat.
- 1:05SPEAKER_01: You had to have a break.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: I needed a break.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: I had enough.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: I had enough all of you and your requests.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Jules basically did all of our editing for us, and she um I'm trying to think of the right word to it.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: I was burnt out, guys.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: I was bloody burnt out.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: She was not enjoying it anymore.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: What kudos to all the producers out there, guys?
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: You deserve a medal.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Um oh my god, I bought it so deeply.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: She needed a break.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: And I needed to reset, drink a hundred litres of Campari, and just live my breakfast.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, how did like your because you do this every time you go to um your parents' house in Italy, how did like the detox go?
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: There was no detox, of course.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: I obviously know the answer to that question as soon as I ask it.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Why were you asking me that trying to set me up as an alcoholic or something?
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: No, but in all seriousness, I haven't stopped drinking since the 19th of June.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: I've had like four days off.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I'm constantly sweating.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: So maybe that's all the toxins go.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: Literally, like, look at me, I'm sweating.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Is it just hot in here?
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: It is quite hot in here.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: But I mean, I have to do another drink, as I was telling you just now.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: And like a whole packet of cigarettes.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: But they they just drink, drink, drink on the continent.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: And they and look at them, they're great.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: How are your parents out there?
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Are they drink, drink, drinking as well?
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, so my parents moved to Italy like a month ago, as you know, and my poor, poor, poor dog is.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, how is he?
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: He's so sad, his hair is like too long, so he was hiding inside.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: I've never seen a dog more miserable.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: Like, I literally Oh my god, that is so sad.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: I put a plate of leftovers under his nose as he was reclined on the ground, and he didn't even twitch, he didn't even move his head to lick it.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: He just lay there completely immobile.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: No, but he's now had a number one, he's had a ball's cut.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: A bit happier.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's happier, but he just looks so naked.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: They cut off his tail.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, not on not his tail.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: No, like not the tail, but like he has a fluffy tail and it's never not had the fluff on it.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: And now it's just this like sad little rat's tail that just like points out.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: So funny.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: And they did it so like cropped to his skin that he literally looks completely naked.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: He's just looking down at himself, being like, I think really exposed.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, yeah, I imagine so, because like I think he looks naked, yeah.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Alone the other dogs.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Like, oh my god, man, put some clothes on.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: He's left leafy chisic.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he hates he hates Italy.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: But it will get cold.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it will get cold.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: And the fucking wolves and the warthogs will come out.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Not warthogs, what are they called?
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: Warthogs.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, wob wod boars.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: Wad boars.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Keep calling them warthogs, but that's like from warthogs is like a in the desert, isn't it?
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: Or like African continents.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like in the lion cake.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Isn't that what pumba is?
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: My dad said he got chased by warthog when he was little in Zambia.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: Are they dangerous?
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: Um, I think so.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: I think they have like tusks.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I have to double check that story with him.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: I wonder if now thinking about it years later, if that's true or not.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: He could be made it up.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, you know when someone tells you you know when your parents tell you something when you're like six years old.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like I love you.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: I love you and I'll always be here for you.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: You can always rely on me.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: The house in Chisik will always be there.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: Lies.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: They're all fucking liars.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Um, no, more like, you know, like, oh, like this crazy thing happened to me.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Or like another time and you wake up so cool.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, or you and you wake up and you're like, that actually was probably quite unprobable that that happened.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Like, did you get chased by a water?
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Well, why were you alone in the jungle at the age of six?
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: I don't think it I actually don't know where it was.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
- 5:08SPEAKER_01: Oh god, that's fine.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: But okay, so we we haven't seen each other.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Well, last time we saw each other, we were in Milan.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: We had quite a wild time, didn't we?
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Well, the first night wasn't that wild.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I can't remember what we did.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: We went to the swimming for me.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: I think it took you like 24 hours to settle in.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: As per usual.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: What do you say?
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Maybe a bit less, maybe like 12 hours.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: Was that in terrible form?
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: No, no, not at all.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: But you know, when you like, you were like travelling, yeah, which you despised.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: Um, and then you got there, and then me and Maya were kind of already had been there, so we were like in the swing of things a little bit.
- 5:50unknown: Yeah.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: And you were like, obviously you just wanted to thing around.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: And you were like, I need my aloe vera, like I need like to go to the shop, I need some lunch, like just all that kind of stuff.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Um making a scene.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: You were just like, you were just getting your bearings, you know?
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: We always need to get our bearings.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, of course.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: Um, and then we went out the first night and it was like torrential rain.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: So our friend Maya, who you would have heard on the last pod, she took us to her favourite bar in Milan, which used to be this like fruit and veg stand.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: But anyway, there was not a soul in sight.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh, it's buzzy here.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, not a soul in sight, and the heavens were like an ominous grey, and they were literally about to close up, weren't they?
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: And then we arrived and they were like, Oh, for fuck's sake.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Like, what do you want to drink?
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: And then we proceeded to linger there during like the biggest thunderstorm for about two hours until we got kicked out.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: They were like, No, we really have to close.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: We had to actually close down, it's biblical.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: You get out, it really was.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: And then we went to this like really cool Lido, and which was so nice, it was so much better than any London Lido.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like from the outside, it basically looks like a really old school gymnasium, doesn't it?
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: I think it's an old theatre though.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah.
- 7:03SPEAKER_01: And I think the act uh well, not an old theatre, but a theatre as well, which is quite cool.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: Um, and then that night we had a bit of a crazy night.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: I can't remember what we did.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: What did we do?
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: We just went to Barnico and so began.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: No.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: A love affair.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: No, well, I wouldn't say that, but anyway, bit sorry, I'm getting awkward, guys.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: Basically, we were at Barnico, me and Mai were there before.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Let's set the scene.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: So it's it's like a cool, trendy bar in Milan.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's all like chrome tables and stools and wine.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Swigging their natural wine and like popping olives, yeah, like micro cement inside everywhere.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: We ordered some gilders and a slightly fizzy wine, yeah.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: Like that was the vibe, yeah.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: And it was a kind of all open plan, and there was this really hot Italian chef in there.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: We all noticed through the glass, through the glass, because it was like an open kitchen.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: Did he bring over some food or something for me?
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I did it at some point, yeah.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: Anyway, he was really hot, and we were like a few like wines deep, and Jules was like, Maybe I should just give him my number, and I was like, I'm gonna 100% do it.
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: And we were like, you know, we're like At this point, I didn't even know if he'd seen me.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: I've been like, I could have been like an old man, like yeah, but you were doing it for yourself, you were doing it for the plot, you were doing it for yourself, it was like a thing for you to like get out there, you know.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: For sure, for sure.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: And actually, we did catch eyes a couple times, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: Um, anyway, but Jules didn't want to do it herself.
- 8:40SPEAKER_01: We I was like, Hannah, listen.
- 8:43SPEAKER_01: So, what's gonna happen is I'm gonna write down all of the information.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: So if you could just do us a solid and go in there and just like sort of convey the message whilst I run down the street and get a line bike.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: But I got in there and I was like, I actually felt really nervous and really sick.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: Like I was like, oh my god, this isn't even for me.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: And I feel so nervous.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh my, but luckily I went up there to pay and the chef was like had his back turned, he was preparing some food, and I was like, oh my god, thank fuck, this is my moment.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: So I was like to the guy on the till and was like, thanks for everything, and I was like, Oh, and also um my friend in the pink dress thinks the chef is really cute.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: Like, here's the here's her number, whatever.
- 9:29SPEAKER_01: Like social security number, no NHS number.
- 9:33SPEAKER_01: So like text her, and then I just like didn't even wait for like the response, and I just turned and then all I hear from behind me is like all the boys going way and like clapping, and I was like, oh my god.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: Anyway, and I was like obviously running off adrenaline at this point, so we got out because I was like, get us some limes like quickly.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: But at this point, so me and Maya had tried to get some limes, but Maya had cycled off, Han was trying to find a lime, and I was trying to lime past, but that my lime gets stalling.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: So I was like in view of the glass.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: It was the clumsiest getaway like on lime bikes you could ever imagine.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: And I was and so I had to then get over, get off my lime, help Jules like figure out what was going on with that, and then I've but this this bar is all glass, all glass, like floor to ceiling glass, also like me and Maya in like black clothing and Jules is in a bright pink dress, which is why I said the girl in the pink dress, because I was like it's obvious who it is, so I was like, she couldn't have stood out more, no anyway, and then we finally got away, and then um 20 minutes later, we were on Merry Way and then recapped it at another bar.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well then because then we went out for dinner and then he texted you.
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: He texted me, and I was like, oh my god.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Anyway, I had panic attack and was like, I can't see him.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Basically, they didn't he didn't finish working until 11.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: And it was already like what, 11?
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then we were like, oh, like trying to be like fun and like carefully like come meet us, and then it suddenly felt quite real.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and then he was like, Okay, and then we were like, Oh actually, we don't want you to.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: We were like, Oh, we're gonna go somewhere else now.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: Like, sorry, see you another time.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: Actually, a no.
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: Um anyway, it was funny.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, um but no, we just wanted to like hang out together, um, and we just had like a fun, silly time.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: Um, and then Jules went back to her house in countryside, and then she went back to Milan and actually saw him.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: Well, it was fun.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: That was it.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: Went for some drinks, got in the back of his moped.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: He was hot, but he was 100% a fuckboy.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: He also said that he gets the numbers quite a lot, and I was like, uh.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, did he say that?
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: Well, no, he didn't say that.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: He said his his colleague basically he brought his colleagues out.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: And we were having just a couple of drinks with his colleagues, um, who were hilarious actually.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: Um one of them was completely mute, and the other one was this little Albanian guy who was just really jokes.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: Um, and he was basically my chauffeur like like two days, he would just like zip her around on his best birth whilst I was like attempting to like snug this guy.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: Well, I've dipped anyway.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: Why am I so weird?
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: I'm 12 years old, can't talk.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: Anyway, he was really hot, and that's a hot Italian chef, that's all we need to know.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: That's all we need to know.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: Done.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: Um, done, done and dusted.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: Moving on swiftly.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: But I do think for all the single ladies, Maya is a big proponent of the number, yeah, of the giving the number.
- 12:48SPEAKER_01: And I feel like I would never have done that had she not been like, it actually works.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: It does.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: It does, and also, yeah, it's quite like validating, I guess, when they to text you.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I feel like it's probably quite a compliment for them though.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: But I mean, it kind of depends because I feel like, do you think it's giving like shag?
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: Or do you think it's giving like chit-chat?
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: Um kind of depends.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it completely depends.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: Depends on who it is, maybe.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: But I think there's an Italian chef from Milan, who finishes work at midnight.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: It's not giving much out.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: Oh god.
- 13:31SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: Um so yeah.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: But you and my always met some guy called Fernandez.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: Fernandez Frederico.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: Why do I think Fernandez?
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: You've been watching too much like Spanish football.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Um we need to talk about.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: Um we had like had a few drinks in this town and basically as usual made friends with the most weird people, like three octagenarians called like Pablo and Paolo, like Davide.
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: And then as we were, as we were like flirting with these 18.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Well, I wasn't even flirting, but mine told one of them that she loved his hair, which he really enjoyed.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: Anyway, this random like youth comes down the street, and all the Davides and the Paolo's were like, Oh, like Frederico, like come talk to these girls, like we're tired now, like you take over.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: They warn us out.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: And he was like, Oh, okay, okay.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: And anyway, Came sat down with us.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: Anyway, I don't know how this escalated so quickly, but before you before we knew it, like we were in his like dungeon cellar where he brews his own wine.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: And then we were playing truth or dare.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: And one moment we dared to get into one of the like tankets of water.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: Anyway, he put his entire head in like the vestibule and like almost got stuck.
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: I know, so we were like, Oh my god, get out because like we're gonna have to like, we're gonna have to leave your dead body here, like it's gonna be really bad.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: Anyway, then he got out, and then he basically thought we were chirpsing, me and him, and then just sort of lunged um in front of the old men, and they were like all laughing.
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: So I was like, I can't do this.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: So weird.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: Maya was just stood there, like, uh, hello.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: And then he proceeded to follow us back, like insisted on walking us to our bed, and then he decided to come in to have a look at this this room, which can I just say is like three meters big, like the square footage was three meters, so he's just standing there, like basically in our bed, and we were like, Frederico, like I don't know what you're gonna have to leave.
- 15:45SPEAKER_01: And my was like, We're not gonna have a threesome with you.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: And he was like, It's the best thing was it was so earnest.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: He was like, But the why not?
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: And we were like, Well, just because anyway, and then he was like, Okay, I give you my wine and my onions.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: He basically gifted us his his wine and like a whole batch of onions.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: Sweet, it was delicious, the onions, yeah.
- 16:07SPEAKER_01: Anyway, so that happened.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: This was like literally 12 hours after I'd left you.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, chaos.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: And I was like, if I was there, this would never have happened.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: No way, but a man called Federico would be giving us onions and trying to have a threesome with us in our box room.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: There's just no way.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: Or his head would be in a vestibule.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: Like, there is just no way, like it just would never have happened.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: Um his entire body in a wine vestibule.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: Oh so Jules and Maya were like read like telling me this story the next day, and I was like, oh my god, I can't take these two anywhere.
- 16:46SPEAKER_01: Well, then Hannah was like, because I kept being like to you, like, oh Frederico's protecting me.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: You were like, Why are you still talking to Frederico?
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: Well, it's because when you first told me the story, you were telling me about his winemaking dungeon, and then the fact that he was one of the three, and then also that he was said he was gonna wake you up by serenading you like your name.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: So I was I was like, so when you then dropped it like two weeks later, that he you were messaging Frederico, I was like, why?
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: Why you like what could he possibly offer you?
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: Do you know what he's stopped texting me now?
- 17:22SPEAKER_01: I think he got a bit upset with me.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: Was he good looking?
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he was like a very Italian look, he had a good pod, yeah.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: Okay, how do you know that?
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: From um from from what I saw.
- 17:35SPEAKER_01: Well, he was just lifting his top up.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: You know what boys are like, you know, sometimes they just sort of flap it around.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: Um, I guess do you not think that?
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: I think quite a lot of boys flap their tops around to kind of show off their app.
- 17:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, I see.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: No, when they claim that they're hot, but I think it's actually just to like flash an app.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: I got you.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, it was so funny.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: It was a bit of a weird random segue.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: But um we were watching the England Norway match and went England school for the second time, everyone was obviously going crazy.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: And Ollie just like rips his top off and starts like sucking there.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I was so taken aback.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: That I literally was like, Were you like I was like, what are you doing?
- 18:12SPEAKER_01: Put your clothes back on.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: Oh so I was like, oh my god, what are you doing?
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's some instinct within them that seems to think that like nudity is like some kind of stable.
- 18:21SPEAKER_01: But he's not that kind of person, so I was really like shaken up by it.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: Like you were like, I think I'm gonna have to move out, like I can't see this again.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, and then I think he was a little bit offended, and I didn't mean it in a rude way, but I just was like, So you ordered him to put his clothes back on because he was so disgusted by his naked body.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: I just was like, I've never seen you do that before in my life.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's so funny.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: So funny.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: But yeah, maybe they do like taking their tops off.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: Um, okay, but we need to talk about the football because it's been on my mind.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: By the time this comes out, this might be a little bit dated.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: So we'll keep it relatively generic, but obviously.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: But that runs in theme with how you got into the World Cup.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: Well, with Jews watched one and a half matches one and a half matches, and that was enough.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: Although I wish I'd had more of a backstory about Argentina because I was like, Oh, I don't really mind them.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: And then anyway, it turns out that they were absolute douchebags.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, no, no, they were awful.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: But I do like Messi.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know you keep saying that.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: He's just like get him out your brain.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: I just weirdly fancy him.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: He's like five.
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: I know, but like I don't care.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: There's something about him.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: Like, even when he was young with his like long hair.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: I think she couldn't think he was less fit.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: The thing is, he's not, but he but he's sexy.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: Do you know why?
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: It's because he's the goat, like he's so so talented that he's so sexy.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: He's the best footballer, potentially of all time.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's sexy.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I'm I'm just not I just don't see it.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: Okay, well, anyway, another Argentinian that was a bit, the manager, Scaloni, hot when he was crying at the press conference.
- 19:59SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh my god.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: Get me a flight.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: Did you see him crying?
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: No, but you told me about it and I didn't like he was saying like it hurts my soul, and then when he got to the word soul, he was like, they couldn't even speak.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: You had to like rush out of the press conference.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: Bless him.
- 20:18SPEAKER_01: Do you know he was a footballer?
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: They most of them were.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:22SPEAKER_01: But anyway, that brings us to the best one.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: Well, sorry, the context is that Jules watched one and a half matches and realized that quite a lot of the football players were hot.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: Um, and then obviously that got her hooked.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: So now her algorithm is like literally just like basically the Spanish football team.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: Can I just say I go on loads of things on Instagram, right?
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: And never in my life has it caught on as quickly as this.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: I don't think I've Googled Ferando that many times.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: But okay, you know there's like a square of what, like 10?
- 20:52SPEAKER_01: Eight out of the ten squares is Ferando.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: Well, on your like four Ugrid.
- 20:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: Literally eight.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: Like him in like spread eagle, like him without a top on, like him like kissing the baby, like people dissecting his haircut and how it complements his facial features.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: Like, like, I can't look at this anymore.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: I feel like that's the next progression for you making content about him.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: Like making a podcast about it.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: Oh TikTok.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, dedicated, like what was it, Club Chalamet?
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: Club Club Torres.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: Um, but I he's so hot.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he is really hot.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: Who was your who did you fancy the most?
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: Um I got a rekindling for John Stone.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: I don't know who that is.
- 21:42SPEAKER_01: English, England.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: But he's not really been in What about Jude?
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: Wait, you might have to cut that out because I might have put his name.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: I said John Stone, John Stone.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: John Stones.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: I thought you were talking about John Snow for a second.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Okay, we'll start we'll start that day again.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: I think that was quite funny.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: Um I've got a weekend link for John Stones.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: Not John Stone.
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: What about uh where was Grealish?
- 22:17SPEAKER_01: I don't think he's that good anymore.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's a shame.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: But they give fuck but they um dude, dude.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, come on, like let's just have a moment of silence.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: No, but that man is an angel sending from heaven.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: I just can't believe how young they all are.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: How old is he, like 23?
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, something like that.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Did you see oh my god, poor Harry Kane.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's nice, that's a bit sexy.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: Um Harry Kane's 32.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: Did you see on um TikTok today there's so many people saying that they think he's he looks 43?
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: People are shocked that he's 32.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: To be fair, he does look a bit older than 32.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: I just think he looks a little bit careworn.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: He is the captain of the team, so I guess he's got a lot on his shoulders.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, true.
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: But everyone's giving what's his name?
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: Tushtel?
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: Tukel.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: Tuchel.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: No.
- 23:11SPEAKER_01: Thomas Tutchill.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: Tuchel, they're giving him a hard time, apparently.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: I don't know why, but so are you.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: Do you know who else I like?
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: Killian.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: Wait, one's oh yeah.
- 23:23SPEAKER_01: Big fan of his.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, love him.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're so fit.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: I think it's because sorry, I know I always say these things when I sound like I'm like literally a teenage girl.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: Like I'm about to throw my gusset at like the Beatles or something.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: But you know, I think it's because like football players they have really good bodies.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: Do you know they're athletes?
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but but it's like the leanness.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're not like too bulky or anything.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Also, it's probably like the fittest like sporting uniform.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Like rugby not fit.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: Bodybuilding.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: No, but I I mean like unif like clothes, like sports clothes.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay, right.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: Like it's just like a t like a t-shirt and uh football shorts are quite sexy.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that yeah.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: What about um what one thing that was baffling me was some of them had long sleeve tops and some of them had short sleeve tops.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: Surely they were they were really hot.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: They must have been boiling on long sleeve.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was really confused by that.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: Um, also, I quite am a big fan of Rodri.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: I've recently discovered who that is.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: Wait, the um the halftime show was insane.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: I didn't watch it.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: The halftime show was absolutely mad.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: I was like, what the fuck is going on?
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: First of all, why is there a halftime show at the World Cup?
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: It's like so American.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: And then like Madonna comes out, and you me I s I sent jewels a picture of her standing next to Ronaldo and Ronaldino, but like at the beginning they were like driving like a car, like inside somewhere.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: And they were like these two like hugely famous like Brazilian footballers were just like sat next to her, like just like not really knowing what to do, like their faces were like just like not really smiling, they're not really so awkward.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: It was so weird, and then the Muppets came on, and then Justin Bieber, and then Ted Lasso, and then Shakira.
- 25:16SPEAKER_01: Did you hear Wayne Rooney?
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: No, did you not?
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: So, straight after it's Gabby Logan on the BBC commentary was like, So, like, what did everyone think of the halftime show?
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: And Wayne Rooney goes, Um, my favourite bit was when it when it ended.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: I thought it was completely crack.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: Live on air.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: I was like, I love you.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: Love that.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: Speaking of live on air, Robbie Williams.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: We must discuss.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: That is so funny.
- 25:42SPEAKER_01: Did you see how he did a yeah, a fake apology thing?
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: That it was a mint.
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: No, I know.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Do you think it was a mint?
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: No, obviously not.
- 25:49SPEAKER_01: So, just for anyone who doesn't know, Robbie Williams was also bizarrely.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: I'd been asked to like come and commentate and talk to some of the sports commentators.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: And as he was like saying his piece to camera, this like suspicious white kind of crystal falls out of his nose, and then he brushes it away, but then he doesn't realise it's still stuck to his hand, and then he puts it on his head and it's stuck to his forehead.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: Uh it's it's quite bad.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like allegedly, and we're not gonna we're not gonna speculate, but it didn't look good.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: It didn't look great, and it was all caught on camera.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: And then he basically did like an Instagram apology yesterday, which then at the end of it he goes, you know, I've stopped, you know, doing whatever I used to do, you know.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: He was like, it was deeply unprofessional, and I'm really sorry for everyone of disappointed and people saying they're worried about me.
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: Um, but the thing is, is I was okay because I ended up having several more and then opened his mouth and it was just loads of mints.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: Mints for and it's like, are you trying to genuinely insinuate that you have a smint up?
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: I think he's taking the piss.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: But you'd think I I don't know.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: I think he was yeah, I think he was just trying to cover for cover.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he was trying to cover by like I think it was quite a good way of doing it.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: Well, he kind of just brazened it out.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Did a trump.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Which no, I agree.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: It worked.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: It worked.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: Um, I thought it was a genuine apology at first.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: So did I.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: So did I.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, I mean, it was fucking embarrassing.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: It was so embarrassing.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: But it was really funny because there was like the guy next to him was obviously like when it went onto his head, couldn't stop looking at his head.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: Stop.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: So his eyes were just like at the top of Robbie's head, and then the camera like slowly pans to the left and like starts cutting him out as he's speaking.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: No way.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, I didn't see that bit.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: It's really funny.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: Fucking hell.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: Um, other good moments, uh, Trump getting shoved out of Trump trying to first of all get into the fucking picture with the Spanish football team.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: And then getting kind of sort of shunted away by the team.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: And then dragged away by infant in what's the name?
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: Fantino.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: Did you see that he is under like investigation now?
- 27:56SPEAKER_01: Is it by FIFA?
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the board of FIFA apparently um want to do like a tribunal for him, like press charges against him for basically unfairly favouring one team.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: Who was he favoring?
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: America.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: Uh he's a the turn America.
- 28:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's like so incredibly corrupt, so but the whole of FIFA is b.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: And did you see that Paredes, that guy who had the massive fight, the one who likes was punching people.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: He's another he's also.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: Anyway, um, he his red card's been revoked.
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: His so he got a red card at the end of the game for basically causing reports.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: Oh, he got a red card.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: He got a like a post-game red card.
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: Right, here.
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: And then today FIFA ruled saying that it's been taken back, like he doesn't get a red card in the case.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: But he literally like started a fight after the game was over.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: I know, I think it's like well, people keep saying that there's some kind of like unfair situation going on with Argentina, like Trump and FIFA are like trying to get them to win.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: What was that about?
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: And then Israel and stuff, because Netanyahu was saying that he like supports Argentina.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I think it's on their side.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, because Millet.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: But one thing that I did think was really cute was when all the Spanish players were going up to get their medals and they all hugged the king.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: Did you see that?
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: They were like fully hugging the king, and the king was fully hugging them back, and I was like, you would not catch Elizabeth the fucking second.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: Is it second?
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, second.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: You wouldn't be catching Liz.
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: She's dead.
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: Fucking gain them in a butt in a bear hug.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: She's not really with us anymore.
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: No, but you know what I mean.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: King Charles, wherever his name is.
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: Wrapping his chubby fingers around his butt sauted fingers, like going in for a big hug.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, so sweet.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: I loved it.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: That is really cute.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: No, there were some good moments.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: Faran, he obviously won one kick.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: Did you see?
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: Okay, sorry.
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: I don't I've been really chronically online this week.
- 29:55SPEAKER_01: But basically, Farat Ferrat Faran, is that his first name?
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: Faran?
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: Faran Torres?
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: Anyway, I don't know what his first name is.
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: I should probably find him out.
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: But he got gifted by this Egyptian millionaire, a chalet, for getting the final goal that that b the goal that basically lets Spain win.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: So it wasn't billionaire or millionaire, whatever basically just gifted him a house in like I don't know where it was, but somewhere up fancy in like Switzerland.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: I was like, Wow, he's having a good week.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was a really good week for.
- 30:22SPEAKER_01: Although apparently way too much father because I keep getting the content read to me.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: But only him and his girlfriend broke up like two weeks ago.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: Oh really?
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: So he's single.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: And you're sad about that?
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: No, no.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: I just mean he it's been a it's been a turbulent few weeks for him.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: It's been ups and downs.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: There's been some ups and downs.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: Do you remember that guy who was it in the Olympics and he basically like won something?
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: It was the Winter Olympics, I think, and he took the moment to like dedicate it to his ex-girlfriend who he had cheated on.
- 31:00SPEAKER_01: Oh god, yeah.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: And he was basically was like, I made the biggest mistake of my life, like you're amazing, like duh da.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: And everyone thinking it was gonna be this like outpouring of love, and everyone was like, You're the worst, like you're so toxic.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: And then didn't she reply and be like, I don't care.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, like we're still not getting back together.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, something like that.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: That no, that is that is embarrassing.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: So embarrassing.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: You wouldn't live that down.
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: But I was like, he's obviously like one of those people that one of those men that like thought it was really romantic and that it was like I don't know, was it's gonna make him look really good if it was so performative.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's one of those things that like as a girl growing up, you'd probably think that you'd like, but actually in real life in 2026, like it's probably the most disgusting thing you could ever think.
- 31:47SPEAKER_01: You would be completely icked out.
- 31:49SPEAKER_01: Well, you you you would block them and you would never you would remove every trace of data that that showed you connected to them.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: Also, like it would be even more humili, you're like humiliating.
- 32:00SPEAKER_01: You would sorry, so you've cheated on me, yeah, and then you've gone on national like international TV and told everyone that you've cheated on me and that you're really sorry and that you're like crying, and I'm like that that's so awful, like fuck off.
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: So gross.
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: Also, okay, picture this.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: So Ollie cheats on you in obviously he would nap it, but I'm just saying hype in a fairy, in a horrible dystopian world, in a fairy tale.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: No, in like the upside down, right?
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: And he suddenly, like, you know, because he wins his match in not match, his cycling tournament, whatever it is in Belgium, and then he gets like propositioned by the Tour de France and he wins the Tour de France, and he's like, Hannah, like, I just want to let you know, like, I love you, and then he whips off his top and he twirls it around his head.
- 32:49SPEAKER_01: What would you do?
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: And you're watching, you know, eat you're you're kind of proud of him, but you're also kind of upset and pissed off because he obviously you know did the dirty on you.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: What would she do?
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: I don't know, it feels like a world, a world in which you don't want a part of.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: I could never comment on.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: Well, if someone did that to me, I would be sick.
- 33:12unknown: Okay.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: Oh, God almighty.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: That's funny.
- 33:18SPEAKER_01: What were our other topics of the day?
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: So we put new Prime Minister.
- 33:22SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: What do you think about him?
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: Um, well, I don't really know.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: I think I'm getting quite mixed.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: Mixed, right?
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: Mixed reviews and pick and mix Intel, yeah.
- 33:36SPEAKER_01: Like, on the one hand, he's saying, Yeah, I might put rink caps on, and I'm like, great, Andy.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: On the other hand, he's saying, let's start drilling in the North Sea.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, You're the devil, Andy.
- 33:47SPEAKER_01: Like he's kind of like giving labour, but then he's also giving like terrible human.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: Like he's like, Oh, I want like the whole of the north to have more money, and it's like, okay, cool, that's good.
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: And then he's like, Yeah, like we need to like put more money into communities, great, lovely.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: And then he's like, Oh, but actually, I'm gonna allow the US to have what was it, like missile sites in the UK.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: And it's like, what is wrong with you?
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: Why are none of them sorry, Zaran Mandani has shown that if you want to do something, you can do it.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's literally like living proof that when you want to put a policy through, you can fucking put it through.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: So that's what made me think like what strings are being pulled in the background of all of these fucking politicians that they never fucking do the right thing.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and also Spain as well, like their prime minister.
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: Who's also hot, by the way.
- 34:39SPEAKER_01: Who's also hot?
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: Um, they are all hot though.
- 34:42SPEAKER_01: Do you remember in Barcelona and the police officers were like models?
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: And we were like, what is going on?
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: Like, do you remember his electric blue eyes?
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: And he's really tight trout.
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: I do actually, yeah.
- 34:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, they're both our phones and they've like recognized the state of Palestine, they're like speaking out, like being completely as they should be.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: And not getting like terrorized for it or anything.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: And also, I think Spain is like the biggest European country okay, I'm this is definitely wrong, but basically they've really pushed forward with solar energy to the point that pretty much like every other household in Spain now has solar panels, and their energy has now gone down so much, it's so cheap.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: So the cost of living and like quality of life for people in Spain is like going up and up because bills are going down, and so it just goes to show like when you actually commit to these things, it works.
- 35:33SPEAKER_01: I don't know, it just pisses me off so much.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: Every time we get anyone in in England, it just feels like it's just like this country has no backbone, and it's like we're supposed to be a powerful country, and it's just like it's not giving that.
- 35:48SPEAKER_01: Well, you know, they were saying if they start drilling in the North Sea, and the oil that that will produce will emit, or like the carbon that that will emit, will be more than the 20 poorest countries in the world put together, just from that little patch in the North Sea.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: It's like, why the fuck are you doing that when we are literally can't sleep because it's 39 degrees?
- 36:08SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 36:09SPEAKER_01: There's forest fires in fucking Birmingham.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: That's insane.
- 36:12SPEAKER_01: Anyway, sorry.
- 36:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:14SPEAKER_01: How do I always manage to bring down the time?
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: It's just oh anyway, Andy, we've got our eyes on you.
- 36:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you little shit bag.
- 36:25SPEAKER_01: He's got good hair though, I'll give him that.
- 36:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:27SPEAKER_01: Apparently him and his girl, uh not girlfriend, his wife were like the king and queen of Cambridge or something.
- 36:33SPEAKER_01: Apparently they were like the coolest kids in town.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: Uh-uh.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like she was like the apparently most popular, popular girl, and he managed to snag her.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: Good for him.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, good for him.
- 36:44SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
- 36:47SPEAKER_01: Um Gabrietta Mattihini got married.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, yeah.
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: And that I actually have really enjoyed her wedding looks.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: She looks really beautiful.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: She's been doing like Gothic Bride.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Gothic Bride by a designer called Matier Fecale.
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: Good word.
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: We think.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: That's how you say it.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: Matier Fecale.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: I think it just means fecal matter in French.
- 37:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but like you were trying to give it a kind of little.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: Well, no, that's because it's well but yeah, but the French don't pronounce it matters fecal.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 37:21SPEAKER_01: They pronounce it Matia Fecale because that's how you say fecal matter.
- 37:25SPEAKER_00: Very good, very good.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: But um quite iconic that her wedding dress was designed by someone called Fecal Matter.
- 37:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love that.
- 37:34SPEAKER_01: Um, but it's really cool.
- 37:36SPEAKER_01: The dress was like amazing, and then her sec her outfit for like the 30 was really cool.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: It was like a tailored jacket with like a tail, and then like these cropped trousers, which were really cool, all in white.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: But then she put on this hat and it was like veering into circus, which I didn't enjoy.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: I was like, you could have just not done the hat.
- 37:56SPEAKER_01: It was like a couple of things.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: I think maybe they're famous for the hats.
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: What fecal matter?
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: It's not calling them that.
- 38:02SPEAKER_01: Mathieu fecal.
- 38:04SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm sure they don't enjoy being being called fecal sorry, they know it themselves be not not enjoy, but I'm sure they don't want each country to call them fecal matter in their own language.
- 38:19SPEAKER_01: They want to be called in French.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: Right, okay.
- 38:21SPEAKER_01: Alright.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: Um, so on the third day she wears this kind of jaunty little hat.
- 38:25SPEAKER_01: Like a tiny little, like a really small top hat, like to the side, like a bit like kooky.
- 38:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:31SPEAKER_01: In general, I'm not I'm not going to stand.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: It's like an little elastic band on that.
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: It was like it felt like a party hat.
- 38:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: Like a kid's party cone hat.
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was giving like mad hatter.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: So her her main wedding dress was kind of this almost like it had frayed, it was kind of like corseteered, very Victorian looking, had like a gusset, uh bustle.
- 38:53SPEAKER_01: And then it had like frayed the bottom.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: It was really cool, and it also was it also was kind of cropped around the ankles so you could see the her ankles, which I always love.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: And the sleeves were like three-quarter length and kind of flowy.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: So it was kind of also like a bit like Bohemian in a way as well.
- 39:11SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it felt very romantic.
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, very romantic.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: It felt very like Pride and Prejudice.
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yep, yep, yep.
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: Um, and then they had it in, I think it's Madonna's old house in Beverly Hills.
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: But it's really cool.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: You can see like the Hollywood sign in the background.
- 39:26SPEAKER_01: Um, it was yeah, it felt quite cool, like LA, old LA vibe.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: What do you think about LA?
- 39:34SPEAKER_01: Never B.
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: I just like I don't know if I'd like it.
- 39:38SPEAKER_01: Having said that, I've never been.
- 39:40SPEAKER_01: I've never been.
- 39:40SPEAKER_01: I've only driven past it.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: When we were 16, we went on like a Californian holiday with my parents and my family, and they obviously reviewed, they were like, Yeah, we're gonna go to like Yosemite National Park.
- 39:51SPEAKER_01: I was like, Well, I wanna go to Sunset Boulevard, and they were like, Absolutely not.
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: So it's so funny because now in your 30s, you'd be like, I want to go to Yosemite that's just a little bit.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: Get me to those sequoia trees, they were amazing.
- 40:03SPEAKER_01: The biggest tree in the world was called a Grand Sherman.
- 40:06SPEAKER_01: I know, I know.
- 40:07SPEAKER_01: Did I tell you the story?
- 40:08SPEAKER_01: And I was in a really bad mood that I was in this fucking forest.
- 40:11SPEAKER_01: No, and so I was walking, there was a path that goes through the forest, and it all everyone kind of walks on this path.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: Anyway, there's like a kind of raised ditch next to the path and uh like a kind of mound, I guess.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: And so I was in such a bad mood with my family that I refused to walk with.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: Because they dragged you to this incredible national path.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: Exactly right.
- 40:29SPEAKER_01: Can I take walking?
- 40:30SPEAKER_01: Which you would lap up nowadays.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: You would be fucking hugging that tree.
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: God, yeah, I'd be fucking like snogging the tree.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: Um, but anyway, so I refuse to walk with them on the path, and I was like in a grump.
- 40:40SPEAKER_01: So I was walking on this raised ditch.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: Anyway, I was like stomping along trying to make a real point, and then I stood in a hive and this swarm of wasps.
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: And it was literally, I'm not even joking, it was like, you know what, like we need a poo.
- 40:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 40:58SPEAKER_01: I was surrounded in a swarm.
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: But the worst thing was I was screaming, I was like, Yeah, of course.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: Running around.
- 41:02SPEAKER_01: The worst thing was that there was about 20 people on the path who also got attacked by you guys stung a lot.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we had like 50 bites.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: You know that can like kill you.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I know.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: But then my mum was running because my sister's got a nut allergy, so she had anti-histamine as it was antiperspirant anti-histamine.
- 41:20SPEAKER_01: So she was running after random people, being like, hey, like take some whatever it's called, like uh what's it called?
- 41:27SPEAKER_01: Piritine.
- 41:28SPEAKER_01: Piriton, that's it.
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: Anyway, and then my dad, because dad's just so dads are just useless, aren't they?
- 41:33SPEAKER_01: My dad thought that he should pop the bites.
- 41:36SPEAKER_01: I was like, Okay, you don't do that.
- 41:38SPEAKER_01: No, it's not a thing.
- 41:39SPEAKER_01: Like, venom doesn't come out if you scream.
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, sting.
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: Some things leave their tail in you, but I don't know if I've never been sung by a wasp, so I don't know.
- 41:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, it was like I was my entire body was like stinging, it had swallowed.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: That must have been apty horrific.
- 41:53SPEAKER_01: I know, then I had Marek's fucking like long claws trying to like pinch them, writhing in agony.
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: Can't have helped your mood as an angsty teenager.
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: That's so bad.
- 42:03SPEAKER_01: My mum was so pissed off.
- 42:05SPEAKER_01: Anyway, sorry, long story short, LA.
- 42:10SPEAKER_01: We digress.
- 42:12SPEAKER_01: Speaking of LA, uh, the Odyssey.
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: Sorry, Hollywood, I was thinking.
- 42:18SPEAKER_01: I've started listening to you the rest of history.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: In preparation.
- 42:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:23SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm only like 10 minutes in.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: Okay, people did say that, didn't they?
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: That you should brush up.
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: Ollie said that.
- 42:30SPEAKER_01: He said he listened to it after the film, but he wished he listened to it before.
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: Okay, so what does it Ollie think?
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: Um, I tried to get him to give me the top best three things and the worst three things, but he didn't give me anything because he was like, I don't want to spoil anything.
- 42:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 42:43SPEAKER_01: Did he like it?
- 42:44SPEAKER_01: I think so, yeah.
- 42:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because our friend Nikel He didn't come back and was like, that was the best movie.
- 42:49SPEAKER_01: That's interesting, because like some people are like absolutely like creaming themselves over.
- 42:53SPEAKER_01: Oh really?
- 42:53SPEAKER_01: And then some people are a bit like so so our friend Nikhil, who's the patron of the patron of the pod.
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: Hi, hi.
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: Anyway, he's also works, he's an agent, so he's in, you know, the the Biz, yeah.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: And and he was saying that he needs to watch it again because he was there were moments that he was unsure about.
- 43:10SPEAKER_01: He said some of the acting wasn't that good.
- 43:12SPEAKER_01: Oh really?
- 43:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, from who?
- 43:13SPEAKER_01: Said our pats.
- 43:15SPEAKER_01: Oh, I heard he I didn't even realise he was in it until Ruby told me.
- 43:19SPEAKER_01: Like a Bostonian accent.
- 43:20SPEAKER_01: Oh god, I can't imagine him doing that.
- 43:22SPEAKER_01: No, and Tom Holland as well, and it's like you're from fucking Kingdom.
- 43:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but Tom Hal Tom Holland can do an American accent.
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: Okay, true.
- 43:29SPEAKER_01: Sorry, Spider-Man stan.
- 43:31SPEAKER_01: No, but he can't, he actually can do an American accent.
- 43:35SPEAKER_01: But in fact, so Hannah is the biggest Spider-Man fan you'll ever meet.
- 43:39SPEAKER_01: Spider Man was her sexual awakening.
- 43:41SPEAKER_01: It was, wasn't it?
- 43:43SPEAKER_01: Andrew Garfield.
- 43:44SPEAKER_01: She had Andrew Garfield literally as her screensaver tattooed all over her staff.
- 43:53SPEAKER_01: You were in love.
- 43:54SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, that's not what it was.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: I'm surprised she didn't stalk his hotel.
- 43:59SPEAKER_01: You tried to.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Once, remember?
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: No.
- 44:05SPEAKER_01: Have you ever stalked a celebrity?
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: No, I've never stalked a celebrity.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: But like after their gig or something.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: I don't think so.
- 44:14SPEAKER_01: I'll do that with the libertines once.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: I don't think I don't think so.
- 44:20SPEAKER_01: I'm trying to think if there's anyone that I may have.
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: The kooks?
- 44:27SPEAKER_01: No, no, sadly not.
- 44:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:32SPEAKER_01: His name is Luke.
- 44:33SPEAKER_01: Luke.
- 44:33SPEAKER_01: He's actually like really like small though.
- 44:35SPEAKER_01: No, okay, the Andrew Garfield thing.
- 44:37SPEAKER_01: I'm just setting the record straight.
- 44:38SPEAKER_01: At uni, it got a little bit obsessed.
- 44:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:41SPEAKER_01: I fancied him in just in just the Spider-Man things.
- 44:44SPEAKER_01: I fancied him.
- 44:44SPEAKER_01: I don't know why I did.
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: It was just, it latched on.
- 44:48SPEAKER_01: I think I was going through some stuff.
- 44:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you like this kind of hat was a theme in my life.
- 44:52SPEAKER_01: Like when I was going through a breakup or like I was going through a few little bits of depression.
- 44:57SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 44:57SPEAKER_01: I got kind of like unnaturally obsessed with unhealthily obsessed with a fictional character.
- 45:04SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: She wanted a marriage ceremony for her and Andrew Shark.
- 45:10SPEAKER_01: She knows.
- 45:11SPEAKER_01: She's now just made rings out of out of daisies, I think it was.
- 45:16SPEAKER_01: And we caught her outside.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: And she had a Spider-Man mask on.
- 45:20SPEAKER_01: Do you remember that?
- 45:20SPEAKER_01: And it was hanging upside down from our years.
- 45:26SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, no.
- 45:28SPEAKER_01: That's almost completely untrue.
- 45:30SPEAKER_01: I just said the worst thing that happened was like I just got addicted to watching YouTube interviews with him, and like Maya came into the room and was like, you must close your laptop.
- 45:39SPEAKER_01: You're on page six of YouTube now.
- 45:41SPEAKER_01: And I was like, fair enough, yeah.
- 45:43SPEAKER_01: Um, but that was pretty much it.
- 45:45SPEAKER_01: So would you say that out of Spider-Man you fancy him less?
- 45:50SPEAKER_01: I just like Spider-Man films.
- 45:52SPEAKER_01: I actually like all the Marvel films.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: Me, I went me and Ollie went through a phase at the beginning of the year where it was the only films we watched.
- 45:59SPEAKER_01: I just feel like it it's because it's like it's like a bit of intrigue and action, but I know it's gonna end fine.
- 46:07SPEAKER_01: And that is good for my nervous system.
- 46:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, which yeah, which famously is terrible.
- 46:14SPEAKER_01: Judging by this.
- 46:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 46:16SPEAKER_01: So that's why that is why I like them.
- 46:20SPEAKER_01: But I like all that kind of stuff.
- 46:21SPEAKER_01: Like I love like a James Bond film or like anything that's like is probably gonna end up fine, you know?
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: But has a bit of like craziness in the middle.
- 46:32SPEAKER_01: Craziness.
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: Yes, shooting.
- 46:35SPEAKER_01: I don't like James Bond.
- 46:36SPEAKER_01: I find it boring.
- 46:38SPEAKER_01: I don't know what it is because I love spy stuff.
- 46:40SPEAKER_01: Absolutely love spies, but I do.
- 46:43SPEAKER_01: I really like spies.
- 46:45SPEAKER_01: Like I love James, James Bond isn't really like about spies, exactly.
- 46:49SPEAKER_01: It's about him just like sort of punching people, like being like a Lithario.
- 46:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Lithario.
- 46:56SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 46:57SPEAKER_01: I to be honest, I just need it to end.
- 47:00SPEAKER_01: Well, they need to just fucking pick someone, or just sack it off.
- 47:04SPEAKER_01: Or just sack it off.
- 47:04SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I mean?
- 47:05SPEAKER_01: End it at Daniel Craig, like everyone bang on about how he was great.
- 47:08SPEAKER_01: It was great, yeah.
- 47:09SPEAKER_01: Pick it up in 50 years' time when there's actually someone else that fits the bill.
- 47:13SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 47:14SPEAKER_01: Or just give it to Bloody Idris, because we all know that he would be the best one.
- 47:17SPEAKER_01: I think we've already spoken about this one.
- 47:19SPEAKER_01: Okay, it's got to be a good one.
- 47:20SPEAKER_01: So I think we should go over what we would purge a day.
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: Wait, the last thing I'll say is this.
- 47:25SPEAKER_01: So obviously, you love Spider-Man as discussed.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: What did you think of Tom Holland as so basically the reason why this is coming up is because Hannah's going to see Spider-Man this week and she's very excited about it.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: No, I know he's not out till next week.
- 47:36SPEAKER_01: Sorry, next week.
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: I don't even know.
- 47:38SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 47:39SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 47:39SPEAKER_01: And and out of five days to that, she's gonna go watch it and she's very excited.
- 47:45SPEAKER_01: How does he stack up to um good old Andrew?
- 47:50SPEAKER_01: Um I think he's probably better as an actual Spider-Man.
- 47:55SPEAKER_01: Oh he's a bit younger.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: Because he's a bit small, he's a bit smaller.
- 47:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's kind of a bit more wriggle around a bit.
- 48:05SPEAKER_01: Did you see how Elon Musk thought that the historian Tom Holland was the actor Tom Holland and started beefing him online?
- 48:14SPEAKER_01: Tom Holland, the historian who does the rest of his history, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: Basically wrote a whole thing, basically being like how the film was amazing and the Odyssey was amazing and that it was really sorry, accurate, blah blah blah.
- 48:25SPEAKER_01: And then Elon Musk started like beefing Tom Holland, the historian, thinking it was the actor, being like, he doesn't know what he's talking about, he doesn't know his craft, like he's called him like a ding battle.
- 48:36SPEAKER_01: It's like this is so funny.
- 48:38SPEAKER_01: Can you imagine if you were just like a historian from fucking Brixton and then bloody Elon Musk was blowing you up?
- 48:44SPEAKER_01: But what was Elon Musk beefing him about?
- 48:46SPEAKER_01: The Odyssey or he was basically saying, Yeah, he was like, You don't you don't know what you're talking about, like or just this the film's a piece of shit, like blah blah blah, because he's a racist.
- 48:54SPEAKER_01: So but sorry, but he thought he was Tom Holland as in who was in the film.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly right.
- 49:00SPEAKER_01: Talking about how it's historically accurate.
- 49:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and he was like that just like a like a very well respected story.
- 49:06SPEAKER_01: You know, exactly.
- 49:07SPEAKER_01: That's funny.
- 49:08SPEAKER_01: Well, I think we should wrap things up there.
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, I think we should.
- 49:11SPEAKER_01: There's been a few tangents.
- 49:15SPEAKER_01: Um we back in normal programming next week.
- 49:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah, in theory.
- 49:19SPEAKER_01: You can trust us, guys.
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: We'll be back.
- 49:22SPEAKER_01: Bye.
- 49:23unknown: Bye.
