Transcript
- Prashanthi Nuthi: Friends, I want to talk to you about a plant called Kudzu ⁓ an invasive vine ⁓ in the southeastern region. ⁓ if you pay close attention behind me, ⁓ vine has started growing in backyard too. ⁓ As as we saw this vine, we started the vine. ⁓ But it on growing back. ⁓ That's when occurred to me We were just treating the symptom, the vine But the real problem was the root. As long as there's a live root out there, the vine will keep coming back again and again. We see the same pattern in life and at work too. Recurrent conflicts, missed deadlines, teams the problems again and again, ⁓ same difficult ⁓ That's because we only treat the symptom, the vine But we forget to treat root. ⁓ Recently I got caught reacting strongly to something that was objectively not a big deal at all. Later I realized the reaction was not about that moment. The moment just surfaced something much deeper. The problem wasn't the problem, it was root underneath ⁓ So the microboost for you today. ⁓ Think about a problem or a challenge that keeps reoccurring. Then ask yourself the question. am I the symptom by cutting the vine or am I getting to the root of ⁓ it? Remember actions, big impact. Until we meet again next time, let's keep making impact together. Thank you.
