- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's. Adam here and in this episode of
- 0:43The Hypnotist, you're going to be listening to a weight loss
- 0:46hypnosis session. Created for.
- 0:48A client that had been struggling with their weight for
- 0:51a long time and always felt that it was a struggle, always felt
- 0:57that it was something they should do.
- 0:59But they didn't. Really enjoy doing it.
- 1:01They didn't enjoy going to the gym.
- 1:03They didn't really enjoy changing the food that they were
- 1:07doing. It felt like deprivation and.
- 1:10This session uses. Quite a an interesting metaphor
- 1:16because the client really was very house proud.
- 1:19They liked looking after the home.
- 1:22They liked the place where they lived.
- 1:24And appreciated. That not everyone is house
- 1:28proud. Not everyone likes to live in a
- 1:31good home, and that's why this metaphor was chosen for this
- 1:36particular client. There's also a few other side
- 1:40metaphors, like cleaning a car and watering a flower.
- 1:44But at its. Core it is about valuing your
- 1:48body, loving your body and then doing nice things for your body.
- 1:54And actually, you know, if you think about highly processed
- 1:58food or lots of alcohol or lots of sugar, that would the be the
- 2:04equivalent of putting poison into a plant pot and wondering
- 2:08what what would happen to the plant.
- 2:12Plants need sunshine and water or plant nutrients.
- 2:15And when they get those things, the plant can be a beautiful
- 2:20kind of plant, a nice flower. So there's various.
- 2:24Things in this, which is designed to really value the
- 2:29body and to treat losing weight not as the thing to do, but the
- 2:36side effect of making choices and decisions that align with
- 2:43valuing that wonderful human body.
- 2:46And I think the more you think of your body as something
- 2:51valuable and precious, the more true it becomes.
- 2:55Because if you were to lose an arm or a leg, you would realize
- 3:00how valuable the previous arm when it was working was or, or a
- 3:05functional leg. Nobody values their eyesight
- 3:08unless they start to lose it. And when you think of your whole
- 3:12body, you know your, your lungs, your stomach, your fingers, your
- 3:16toes, all of those things, you realize how valuable it is.
- 3:20And the more nutrients you give your body or the more exercise
- 3:24you give it, the more it responds positively.
- 3:27So that's the lens of this hypnosis session.
- 3:31It takes on this kind of element of improving your body shape
- 3:36through self love and appreciation.
- 3:41And I think if you've struggled with weight loss, this might
- 3:43resonate with you. Obviously it was created for a
- 3:46specific individual. Some of the suggestions might
- 3:49not really map across for you. So if you like the idea of
- 3:51working with me directly, a lot of people at this time of year
- 3:54really do set the intention to change the body shape and to
- 3:58lose weight. And if you feel like working
- 4:00with me one to one is your hypno therapist to help make that
- 4:04change could be useful. Then click the link in the show
- 4:06notes and schedule that free consultation call and we can
- 4:09explore the possibility of working together.
- 4:12For now though. This session might be useful for
- 4:14you, so find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 4:17won't be disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 4:49Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, just imagine
- 4:59breathing in a slow, calm, relaxing breath.
- 5:05And as you exhale, feel a wonderful feeling of letting go,
- 5:16breathing and relaxation, exhaling tension, allowing
- 5:22yourself to go to a place. And we can call that place
- 5:30hypnosis. We can call it reverie or
- 5:37relaxation. We can call it harnessing and
- 5:42harvesting the power of your imagination or just a wonderful
- 5:49feeling that leads to change. So as you breathe in and breathe
- 5:57out, I want you to imagine a picturesque suburb, a beautiful
- 6:09neighbourhood filled with homes. Homes that are a source of pride
- 6:20and love for their owners. As you breathe in and breathe
- 6:28out, I wonder if you could imagine walking through this
- 6:33neighbourhood. Just imagine walking through the
- 6:39neighbourhood and seeing clues. Clues that the owners love their
- 6:48homes. Maybe you could imagine someone
- 6:54repairing a fence, mowing their lawn, maybe painting or
- 7:02decorating. As you walk through the
- 7:06neighbourhood, you get a sense then these homes are cherished,
- 7:16loved, appreciated. Thought goes into them and in
- 7:25return, these people don't just have a house to live in, they
- 7:34have a home connected with emotions and feelings and
- 7:38memories. But as you walk through the
- 7:42neighbourhood, I want you to imagine seeing a distressed,
- 7:51dilapidated house. It looks different from all the
- 7:58other homes in the neighbourhood.
- 8:03Maybe there's clues hasn't been painted for a while, the lawn is
- 8:10overgrown and maybe there's rubbish or marks, things
- 8:20damaged. I want you to imagine
- 8:25approaching this house and as you do, imagine one of the
- 8:32neighbours washing their car, not just washing it because they
- 8:39have to. I want you to see their face
- 8:43filled with pride and a smile. They're not just washing their
- 8:50car, they're giving love, care and attention to that car.
- 9:02And someone driving a car that they love will feel different
- 9:08from someone just driving a car. As you approach this house that
- 9:17seems distressed and dilapidated, notice then you are
- 9:24holding a key. A key to this house.
- 9:31Imagine putting the key in the front door, burning it, and
- 9:36opening and going inside. If the outside of the house is
- 9:43how it looks, the inside of the house is what's going on on the
- 9:50inside. Maybe you can see a dirty
- 9:55kitchen. Imagine carpets that haven't
- 10:00been vacuumed in a long time. There's a smell coming from the
- 10:05bathroom. This is a house, but not a home.
- 10:16And I want you to get a sense that the house becomes more
- 10:24valuable when it's treated as if it's already a valuable home.
- 10:38If the owner was waiting for the carpets to be clean before they
- 10:46treated it well, the house would stay as it was.
- 10:53But imagine this house is now your house, and you're going to
- 10:58treat it with more love, more care, with higher regard than
- 11:07any other house in the neighbourhood.
- 11:12Maybe you start with throwing out the rubbish, either cleaning
- 11:17it or hiring cleaners. Maybe get some decorators in and
- 11:24paint it, maybe add some artwork.
- 11:33Notice the house is still the house.
- 11:36But when you treat it kindly with love, when you see it's
- 11:44potential beyond it's initial state, the house can radically
- 11:51transform quickly. I want you to imagine going to
- 11:59the bedroom, turning this bedroom from a messy distressed
- 12:07bedroom to a clean homely bedroom.
- 12:14And I want you to notice there is a flower.
- 12:21This flower also hasn't been getting any attention.
- 12:26It's wilted, almost looks like it's about to die.
- 12:32Maybe it's there in the shade. And all I want you to do is to
- 12:39imagine moving that flower to the windowsill, giving it some
- 12:45water, Imagine feeding it some plant food, and notice how
- 12:53quickly that flower almost starts to revitalise, that it
- 13:04can go from a wilted flower to a beautiful flower within days.
- 13:16The flower is still the flower, but when you saw what the flower
- 13:23could be, you did what was necessary to make that true.
- 13:34I want you to imagine there is a full length mirror in this
- 13:38bedroom, but this is a mirror of potential.
- 13:48And I want you to see your reflection not as you are, but
- 13:52as you could be when you give your body the love, the
- 13:59attention, the care and the nutrition that it truly
- 14:05deserves. I want you to see the reflection
- 14:15of what is possible, not when you force your body to change
- 14:19shape, but when you treat it as the valuable thing that it
- 14:26already is. And if you like what you see and
- 14:34feel that that's the body that you want, let me know by nodding
- 14:39your head. So hold that thought.
- 14:44And on that bed, make yourself comfortable feeling your head on
- 14:49the pillow as you imagine drifting off into a dreamlike
- 14:54sleep with thoughts and ideas. They become like seeds planted
- 15:02in fertile soil, but perhaps create ideas that lead to self
- 15:09fulfilling prophecies that positively transform your life.
- 15:17So breathe in and breathe out. Feel yourself sinking into the
- 15:20mattress, into the duvet, your head on the pillow, as you allow
- 15:25your mind to be receptive to new thoughts and ideas.
- 15:33And I wonder what would happen if you started to treat your
- 15:37body like a sacred gift, a masterpiece crafted with divine
- 15:45intention as something more valuable than the finest jewel
- 15:54or the grandest home. What if you start to see your
- 16:01body as a temple of life, deserving of the highest care,
- 16:10respect, and love? As you start to be more
- 16:20grateful, perhaps than you've ever been for your body, maybe
- 16:26you can start to notice that every cell in your body
- 16:30resonates with your new found appreciation, responding with
- 16:37vitality and harmony. What if you start to see
- 16:43processed foods as poisons and nutritious Whole Foods as gifts?
- 16:52Wouldn't you want to give gifts to this valuable body?
- 17:00And what if you no longer feel any compulsion to diet or
- 17:05exercise, but instead choose to nourish your body with kindness
- 17:12and love? What if each bite of nutritious
- 17:20foods really feels like a gift to your body, giving it energy
- 17:27and joy, being like sunshine and water for their wilted flower?
- 17:38What if movement in the gym isn't something you have to do,
- 17:44but a celebration of your body's strength, flexibility and
- 17:48potential? Maybe exercise could feel like
- 17:53an act of gratitude, a way to honour the incredible vessel
- 18:00that carries your soul and your spirit.
- 18:06Notice how good it feels to release any negative thoughts
- 18:11about your body, swapping shame for a deep, profound admiration
- 18:21and appreciation. You see the potential in your
- 18:28body. It's easy to see what isn't
- 18:32right, but you can see how you want it to be.
- 18:41You didn't criticize the flower for being wilted.
- 18:45You realized it needed water, nutrients and sunshine, and the
- 18:52flower responded. And I wonder if you can think of
- 18:59your body as your most valuable possession, a priceless gift
- 19:07entrusted to you by a higher power.
- 19:15And as you love and care for your body, don't be surprised if
- 19:20it responds with glowing health, energy and vitality.
- 19:33Nobody likes to follow a diet. But what if you unlock a natural
- 19:43desire to give your body the best of everything, the best
- 19:50nourishment, the best movement, rejuvenating rest and care,
- 20:00simply because it deserves it. Because the more you treat your
- 20:06body with love, the more it thrives, becoming stronger,
- 20:11healthier and more radiant. A source of pride, not a source
- 20:18of shame. And I wonder.
- 20:26If you could feel that deep connection with your body now,
- 20:31appreciating all it does for you every single day.
- 20:39Some people criticise Cellulite or body fat on their legs, but
- 20:47forget to be grateful that their legs enable them to navigate to
- 20:55walk and run around the world. You start to see your body for
- 21:01what it does for you, rather than what's not perfect.
- 21:07Yet every loving action you take for your body brings you closer
- 21:16to your fullest potential as you start to embrace the idea that
- 21:25caring for your body is a privilege, a joyful choice you
- 21:31make every day, not because you have to, but because you want
- 21:36to. Your body reflects the love and
- 21:46care you give it. The more love and care you give
- 21:50it, the more it evolves subtly and positively, becoming a
- 22:01radiant expression of your inner joy.
- 22:07So let go of any pressure or obligation to diet or exercise,
- 22:14instead replacing it with a deep desire to nourish and move your
- 22:20body, to celebrate your body with love.
- 22:25And as you pour love into your body, you feel that love
- 22:30reflected back to you in every way.
- 22:37Some people believe that the shape of their body is a
- 22:41reflection of consistent choices.
- 22:47But what if those consistent choices were built on the
- 22:49foundation of care, love, of wanting to do nice things for
- 22:59your body? Then you would get the results
- 23:04you desire and feel wonderful on the journey that leads to those
- 23:11results. From this point onwards, you now
- 23:19know that your body is worthy of your highest care and attention,
- 23:28and you joyfully commit to treating it with the love and
- 23:34value it deserves. Imagine getting off that bed and
- 23:43again staring into that full length mirror, maybe seeing this
- 23:50time two years in the future. Two years of love and care and
- 23:57kindness for your body. And notice not just a physical
- 24:04change, but an emotional change, a wonderful change.
- 24:14Imagine looking at the flower by the windowsill, seeing a bright
- 24:19blooming, beautiful flower that when the flower was treated with
- 24:24care and love and kindness, it responded.
- 24:30And as you imagine leaving the house, noticed that the house
- 24:35has become a home. That the kindness and care and
- 24:38love for the house is what turned it into the home.
- 24:46Imagine leaving that house and seeing that this distressed and
- 24:52dilapidated house now seems to be the most desirable house in
- 25:00the neighbourhood. The house is still the same.
- 25:09Before it was not appreciated and now it is.
- 25:15Before the house was a source of shame and embarrassment and now
- 25:21the house is a source of pride and satisfaction and joy.
- 25:31As you leave that neighbourhood, allow these thoughts and changes
- 25:37to resonate inside. Feel like something is shifting.
- 25:43And when you feel that shift, let me know by nodding your head
- 25:47that's in. So take a deep breath in through
- 25:50your nose and out through your nose.
- 25:55Wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 25:57Connect fully into the here and now as I now count from 1:00 to
- 26:0310:00 to awaken you. You will awaken with a clear
