The New Adventures of Nero Wolfe presents “The Slaughtered Santas” (also known as “The Case of the Slaughtered Santas”), episode 10, originally broadcast on NBC on December 22, 1950. Sidney Greenstreet stars as Nero Wolfe, with Lawrence Dobkin as Archie Goodwin.
Two days before Christmas, attacks on New York City sidewalk Santas send a worried wealthy volunteer to Wolfe’s office. As Archie works the cold, dark streets and Wolfe weighs the clues, the detective must learn why men in the same holiday guise are being targeted before another public appearance becomes dangerous.
