- Cindy Marler: Good morning, everyone. In the military for aviation, there is a cardinal rule of basic fighting maneuvers. And there's a phrase that says, lose sight, lose fight. And the pilots, what this means, if they cannot visually track their adversary in a close range engagement, then they can't defend against their moves. And often when they lose sight of their enemy, they will call out over the radio blind. And this alerts their wingmen or their flight lead that they can no longer see the enemy. So again, this famous saying among fighter pilots is called lose sight, lose fight. So as you guys, I'm sure have seen Top Gun One and T, and you see them when they're in those dog fights, constantly moving their heads around and looking, right? And they're looking in all directions. That's because of this saying lose sight, lose fight. Well, life is the same way. If you lose sight, you're going to lose the fight. If you lose sight of the real target, what are your real targets? Is your real target to finish the race strong that the Lord has set out for you? Is that your real target? Because if you lose sight of that, you're going to lose the fight. If you lose sight, you can't guard against the distractions that are going to come up. So if a fighter pilot loses sight, they can't guard themselves against their moves coming up. What are some of the distractions that are causing you because you've lost sight? Is it toxic relationships? Is it your phone, social media, an addiction, a dependency, peer influence? And most importantly, when you do lose sight, are you calling out? Are you radioing in saying blind when you've lost your way? Blind. Do you have a group of people surrounding you that you can radio and say blind? And they can step in and let you know and remind you what your real target is and remind you what the distractions in your life are that are gonna take you away from your target. Lose sight, lose fight. I'll talk to you guys tomorrow.
