- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Welcome back to ABGW Amazing, Brilliant, Gorgeous, Wonderful.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: This is episode two in this short mini series.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Five minutes, one idea, one small shift you can actually use.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: So today we're looking at the thoughts, this is too complex for boundaries.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: When something feels complex, I don't know about you, it usually means that there's some kind of history or power or risk or some sort of politics behind it.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Um maybe something maybe something said off record that didn't feel off the record at the time.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to think of maybe sometimes when we're dealing with HR issues, the point is it isn't just set a boundary.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: The point is it's the point is to stop making complexity proof that you must tolerate everything.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: One of the things that we often do in hypnotherapy and in coaching is called disassociation.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Disassociation here means stepping back, uh getting a different perspective and sorting through the mess, sorting out what information is relevant and what's not.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: Think of it like inking water.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: You can't clearly think you can't think clearly while it's all swirling around.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: So three buckets, facts, impact, next move.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: So facts.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: What actually happened, dates, word, witnesses, the impact it's had, so if it's impacted your sleep, the confidence, your concentration, and next move.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: One small action that increases your feeling of control.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Right now, I want you to imagine picking one recent moment and putting it in one of those buckets.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Nothing clever, no big deal.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Just put it in cleanly.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: One practic one practical step today you might want to try is to write a two-line note to yourself after any incident, the date, what happened, and the impact it had.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Um, for example, you might want to use for clarity, I'm going to summarize what we agreed in writing.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: Okay, so that's it for today.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: If anything landed with you, let it stay there.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: If it didn't, that's okay.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: It's just only for information only, remember.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: In the next episode, we'll gently look at the thought.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: This won't work for me.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: My situation is different.
- 4:02SPEAKER_01: And what I would like you to remember, you don't need to do anything dramatic with anything that you've heard today.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: I just want you to notice what beings came up for you.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: And if you'd like a bit more of extra support, you can download my emotional birthday kit at her guru.co.uk.
- 4:23SPEAKER_01: Now, if there's for mom, it's I created the emotional first day kit basically for moments like this where you need to take a call and you don't know how to do it.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: Because remember, every step you take, no matter how small, is a step towards a brighter, more balanced future.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Trust in your journey and remember, progress is progress, no matter the pace.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Bye for now.
