Connor MacIvor gives his take on AI and job loss. His question is simple: if AI can replace one human job, why not keep the human and add the AI? He says AI can work 24 hours a day, three eight-hour shifts, with no lunch and no sick day. Keep the person and you still get at least two times the output, so nobody gets displaced. He suggests a rule that nobody loses their job to AI, expects companies to look for loopholes, and says a customer may want to talk to a real person to close a deal. He ends by asking viewers whether he is off.
