- 0:05Speaker 1: Apologie Production, Welcome to She Rises, Pretty Friday.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Secrets, horror, scandal, hysterios, wild, Oh my gosh, today is
- 0:20Speaker 2: a very unique submission that we haven't never had before.
- 0:23Speaker 3: I don't know if we hope I have again either.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It's a little eerie.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a little eerie.
- 0:27Speaker 1: But that's what Freaky Friday is all about. It's about
- 0:29Speaker 1: anonymous submissions bringing in your deepest, darkest secrets, things that
- 0:32Speaker 1: you wouldn't normally tell anyone in a normal conversation like
- 0:36Speaker 1: you would about the weather.
- 0:37Speaker 3: This is definitely not one of them. This is not
- 0:38Speaker 3: something to bring up at your March date. No, let's
- 0:41Speaker 3: get straight into it. Let's do it. I'm not sure
- 0:43Speaker 3: where to start, but I don't have much to do
- 0:45Speaker 3: with my biological father, so with that, I don't know
- 0:48Speaker 3: much about his side of the family. My mum has
- 0:51Speaker 3: told me there are some family members in jail, but
- 0:53Speaker 3: to speak to my dad about it. I recently reached
- 0:56Speaker 3: out to my dad out of curiosity and it gave
- 0:58Speaker 3: me the name of one of my uncles and he
- 1:00Speaker 3: just said google him. I did exactly that, and it
- 1:04Speaker 3: turns out he has been in prison and still is.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I believe for a triple murder and a burnt down house.
- 1:13Speaker 3: There is a full article on him, though I didn't
- 1:16Speaker 3: get access as I don't pay for it. A friend
- 1:18Speaker 3: printed it for me without reading into it and said,
- 1:20Speaker 3: who he is? And it looks so much like you?
- 1:23Speaker 3: And I said, well, apparently that's my uncle. Oh my god,
- 1:27Speaker 3: that's not It turns out his sister, who is my auntie,
- 1:31Speaker 3: is also in prison for murder too. Who knew there
- 1:35Speaker 3: was this whole other side to my family? And that's
- 1:37Speaker 3: just one small part. I haven't dared to look too
- 1:40Speaker 3: much further into it other than I have a family
- 1:42Speaker 3: in jail for murder. Wow far out. I don't mean
- 1:47Speaker 3: to laugh like it's awful, but wow, can you imagine
- 1:49Speaker 3: just finding out that news?
- 1:52Speaker 1: It's like almost unbelievable. Yeah, Like there's some serious family skeletons.
- 1:57Speaker 3: And for people to say she looks like the uncle,
- 1:58Speaker 3: she'd be like, uh not what I want to hear?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Yeah, is my favorite uncle?
- 2:04Speaker 3: Hey, uncle John has your day job going crazy? That's
- 2:07Speaker 3: so wild. It must feel really weird and just, I
- 2:12Speaker 3: don't know, strange to have it ties and connections or
- 2:16Speaker 3: just blood related to someone who's done something so awful,
- 2:20Speaker 3: But I also love to know the backstory of like
- 2:22Speaker 3: why did he murder them?
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:23Speaker 3: Okay, where was this? Did something happen? Did someone do
- 2:26Speaker 3: something to his family? You know?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Or is he just totally unhinged and yes, decided to
- 2:31Speaker 1: go on an episode and we're not a killing spring.
- 2:33Speaker 1: There's always just two sides to every story.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Yeah, now I'm curious on that, Like surely she'd be curious.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Yeah, can you bring it in if you know anything,
- 2:41Speaker 1: can you put another submission? And we would love to
- 2:43Speaker 1: hear about like if there is a backstory that you
- 2:45Speaker 1: know of need a part two? Yeah, that would be
- 2:47Speaker 1: really interesting. Yeah, it's so unnerving, Like to know that,
- 2:51Speaker 1: I can't even imagine how that would feel.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Something's got to have happened. That's really big to make
- 2:55Speaker 3: him do that. Like I think everyone is capable of everything. Yeah,
- 2:58Speaker 3: like I really do. Anyone is sitting on their high
- 3:01Speaker 3: horse been like I would never do X y Z.
- 3:03Speaker 3: It's like, what if someone harmed your child, or your
- 3:06Speaker 3: sister or your mum in the right circumstances. You just
- 3:09Speaker 3: don't know what you would do if someone came into
- 3:11Speaker 3: your house attacking you or attacking your child with a knife,
- 3:15Speaker 3: you'd be capable of murder. You would do that to
- 3:17Speaker 3: protect your children. Yeah, you know, so I never judge.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I always want to hear the other story. Without hearing
- 3:22Speaker 3: the other story, we're just like, oh my god, pre
- 3:24Speaker 3: people in a burnt down house for the fuck. Yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 3: burning would be an awful way to go. I know
- 3:28Speaker 3: that's horrific. I feel like it'd be quick, but so painful.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Quick you reckon a couple of minutes.
- 3:34Speaker 1: What'd be the longest minutes true, compared to being shot,
- 3:37Speaker 1: which is instant. Yeah, yeah, you're right, that would feel
- 3:39Speaker 1: like a long time. And then I feel like that
- 3:41Speaker 1: and drowning would be Those two were just very.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Unfair because it's taking time. Oh my goodness.
- 3:48Speaker 1: So this is going so off topic, but I remember
- 3:50Speaker 1: knowing a girl back from my hometown who actually got
- 3:53Speaker 1: pushed into a fire at a party, what like a
- 3:56Speaker 1: fire pit, like she must take me, not pushed like intentionally,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I think she was knocked into it.
- 4:02Speaker 1: And she had like the degree burns on her bum
- 4:04Speaker 1: and her back and all down her thighs. But yeah,
- 4:06Speaker 1: it was one of my friend's ex girlfriends, and yeah,
- 4:10Speaker 1: she had like the degree burns, Like, yeah, it was
- 4:12Speaker 1: really horrific.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I've heard, well, I've actually interviewed before Teria Pit. She's
- 4:16Speaker 3: just the triathlete that went and did that massive triathlon
- 4:19Speaker 3: out in Australia and like the desert, there was this
- 4:22Speaker 3: huge fires and she got caught in it. And she's
- 4:25Speaker 3: had hundreds of surgeries and I remember interviewing her and
- 4:27Speaker 3: she was just explaining how painful it is, not just
- 4:31Speaker 3: when it initially happens, but every single surgery where they
- 4:34Speaker 3: remove skin and they do skin grasps and they take
- 4:36Speaker 3: the bandages off. She'd be screaming for hours off. It
- 4:40Speaker 3: is meant to be one of the most painful things
- 4:42Speaker 3: to experience, giving my whole body chills. Oh, she's an
- 4:45Speaker 3: actual inspiration. If you haven't looked her up, please look up.
- 4:47Speaker 3: She's one of two now and she's a beautiful relationship.
- 4:50Speaker 3: But she's just an actual inspiration. But yeah, that makes
- 4:54Speaker 3: me so sad for anyone that experiences that level of
- 4:57Speaker 3: intensity with burns because of the pain. Oh, I could
- 5:01Speaker 3: not imagine. Awful. So yeah, that story, I don't we'll
- 5:05Speaker 3: ever get anything like that put in again, So thanks
- 5:07Speaker 3: for sending in. But if you have a part two.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Love to hear about it. Yeah, I would.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Love to hear it, and if anybody has anything similar
- 5:14Speaker 1: or anything, just that you want to share and that
- 5:16Speaker 1: you feel that you want to bring in and that
- 5:18Speaker 1: you've been holding back from us because you just feel like, oh,
- 5:20Speaker 1: it feels a little edgy to share. Let it out,
- 5:24Speaker 1: Let it out. It's anonymous. We can't see who shares it.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Unless you DM us directly and tell us it's yours.
- 5:29Speaker 1: We won't be able to tell whose submission is who's.
- 5:32Speaker 3: We have had one person do that. It was like
- 5:33Speaker 3: a ghost story. She's like, yeah, God, this is my story,
- 5:36Speaker 3: this is me. Thanks for sharing, and then she gave
- 5:38Speaker 3: us a part two. I think she said that they
- 5:39Speaker 3: moved house and the ghost followed. Yes, and they still
- 5:42Speaker 3: had happening. That's right, Yeah I did too. We were like, no,
- 5:46Speaker 3: that's not the ending.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yeah, oh why terrifying.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Thanks joining us, guys, We'll see you on Monday.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And by guys by
