- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by the hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Hi, it's Adam here. And you're about to listen to a
- 0:42hypnotherapy session all about energy and vitality.
- 0:46And I was working with a very successful client that had a
- 0:49thriving business, but it was almost burning the candle at
- 0:52both ends. They were such a workaholic and
- 0:55got so much fulfillment and significance from their business
- 0:59and their work that it almost was all-encompassing, all
- 1:03consuming for them. And they were doing very well
- 1:07financially, but they were constantly exhausted.
- 1:10And because they were exhausted all the time, they had other
- 1:13health conditions related to that exhaustion like fatigue and
- 1:17other health issues because they were really prioritising their
- 1:21business and work beyond all else.
- 1:24Now, what was helpful for this particular client is a metaphor
- 1:27that they could relate to. And they had the experience of
- 1:31being a child playing those arcade games, The kind of things
- 1:34like Street Fighter two where you've got the energy levels of
- 1:37of the players and they deplete as you get kind of attacked or
- 1:41points lost. So this particular client could
- 1:44relate to that metaphor. And what was interesting is that
- 1:49it enabled them to be able to look at their life like a bit of
- 1:53a game. And in their game of life, their
- 1:57energy levels of money and finance and success was all the
- 2:01way up on green, but their physical health and vitality was
- 2:05kind of on the amber or the red. And you'll hear the key
- 2:09suggestion in this hypnosis session that in this
- 2:12metaphorical game, if they lose all of their energy levels and
- 2:16vitality levels, then they lose all of their kind of financial
- 2:19success levels as well. And there's a reference to that
- 2:24proverb that saying that nobody wants to be the richest man in
- 2:27the graveyard. So what this does is it provides
- 2:31an intuitive framework for them to make it make sense for them
- 2:36to prioritize health and Wellness.
- 2:39And there are three key strategies within this hypnosis
- 2:43session that replenish the energy levels and that is
- 2:46nutrition, nature and movement, all things that are proven to
- 2:52increase well-being. If you have a diet of processed
- 2:55foods and then suddenly you have a diet of very rich nutritional
- 2:59foods, generally health and well-being increases.
- 3:02If you compare a sedentary lifestyle within a lifestyle of
- 3:05movement, then your health and Wellness tends to improve.
- 3:09Study after study shows this. And also if you've got someone
- 3:13that is constantly around, let's say electrical devices, they're
- 3:17always inside. They're not really breathing any
- 3:20fresh air and you take them out in nature, generally health and
- 3:24Wellness improve. So although these are
- 3:27suggestions, these are suggestions that are linked to
- 3:30things that will have a cause and effect relationship to
- 3:33actually boost energy levels. The other thing is the
- 3:36suggestion of not thinking about work outside of work because
- 3:40what can happen? And a lot of people that are
- 3:42very dedicated to their work get themselves into a state where
- 3:46they might be working 40-50 hour weeks, but then they're even
- 3:50thinking about that in the evenings and the weekends.
- 3:52So from a psychological perspective, it's almost like
- 3:55their entire life is dedicated to that.
- 3:58Now. Being obsessed is good if you
- 4:00care about what you do, but the balance is also important.
- 4:04So if you've got a little bit of movement and nutrition and going
- 4:08out in nature, well, if that energy level increases, if you
- 4:12replenish the energy levels, well then actually you've got
- 4:15more cognitive focus to be able to do more in the area of work
- 4:19and finances as well. And it was really important to
- 4:22link this to the overall value system and that was to
- 4:26prioritize the impact of their work beyond even their physical
- 4:30health. But there is a wonderful saying
- 4:32that you can't pour from an empty cup.
- 4:35So if they are completely depleted physically, well, then
- 4:38how can they do anything business or work related if
- 4:43they've literally got no energy left?
- 4:45So that's why it was working for this individual.
- 4:47So if you feel fatigued, you might get some value from this,
- 4:50but you might feel fatigued and not be a workaholic, in which
- 4:54case this might not quite be the right session for you.
- 4:56So you can click the link in the description to schedule a free
- 4:59consultation call to explore working with me.
- 5:02Or I've actually got some other gifts that are in the
- 5:05description, links to free downloads and free tests that
- 5:10give you lots of information. There's even a free course, A7
- 5:13day course, completely free. So if you like my hypnosis,
- 5:16there's loads more stuff in the description.
- 5:18Check that out. For now though, find a quiet,
- 5:21comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 5:23Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep.
- 5:54Breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that resourceful
- 6:03feeling of calm and relaxation. And as you exhale, feel a sense
- 6:13of release, like a valve is being opened, facilitating the
- 6:24release of pressure and tension. And feel that tension leaving
- 6:31your body in your outward breath, breathing in that
- 6:38resourceful relaxation and exhaling feelings of stress and
- 6:46tension. So much so.
- 6:50That with each breath it takes you deeper and deeper.
- 6:58Relaxed. Maybe you feel your eyelids
- 7:05getting heavier, or your jaw feeling looser, or your arms and
- 7:12legs just feeling limp and relaxed.
- 7:19Increase the gravity of your arms and legs so they feel
- 7:24relaxed and heavy. That's it.
- 7:28Deeper and deeper. Relax now.
- 7:34That's it. the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you
- 7:45become. And the more relaxed you become,
- 7:51the deeper you breathe as you find yourself drifting to a
- 7:57place of space and calm, a place where nothing is urgent and
- 8:06everything is manageable. Because in this place, time
- 8:16seems to stretch out and clarity begins to rise.
- 8:25Perhaps you've had a moment from your past.
- 8:31You saw the sunrise. Go back to that moment.
- 8:38But imagine the sun is rising with a gentle mist, and I'd like
- 8:46you to see the sun breaking through that morning mist.
- 8:54And in this peaceful state, you become even more aware of
- 9:03yourself, not as a professional, but as a player in a game.
- 9:18I want you to recall one of your favorite computer games as a
- 9:21child kind of game where the character had a certain amount
- 9:30of energy and certain things would deplete that energy.
- 9:40So now when you think of yourself as a player in a game,
- 9:47I want you to think that your most valuable currency is not
- 9:52money, it's energy. And perhaps that game you used
- 10:01to play, there was an energy bar, green when it was full and
- 10:08red when it was low. The kind of thing that reflected
- 10:14how you're doing physically, mentally, emotionally.
- 10:24But I want you to see there are two bars over your head.
- 10:32One is the resource of money and the second is the resource of
- 10:38energy. the money can be used as a resource to give you more
- 10:54choices. But in this game, if you run out
- 11:00of energy, all of that financial resources become worthless.
- 11:10Just like the saying, who would want to be the richest man in
- 11:16the graveyard? And I want you to see that your
- 11:24financial bar is all the way up on green, but your energy bar is
- 11:33perhaps at amber or even red. And you'll have a sense that
- 11:43it's been this way for a certain period of time, perhaps for
- 11:49longer than you'd like. And you know what it means to
- 11:53experience life when the energy levels are all the way down.
- 12:03But I want you to feel that something is changing.
- 12:12An epiphany, a realization. Almost like you've unlocked a
- 12:19cheat code, a new protocol, something that changes
- 12:27everything. I want you to think that in this
- 12:35new version of the game there is a focus window.
- 12:42And perhaps this window is 35 hours divided across several
- 12:54days, a set period of time each day where your energy is
- 13:03channelled into work. And during this window, you
- 13:11don't hold anything back, you give everything but see yourself
- 13:17feeling sharp and strategic, laser focused, making an impact.
- 13:32But consider the window closing, a boundary, a border.
- 13:41And many boundaries and borders, like fences and walls, are
- 13:45designed to keep what's inside safe from whatever may be on the
- 13:53outside. So when you're on the other side
- 14:02of that boundary of time outside of your focus window, consider
- 14:11this recovery mode replenishment.
- 14:18A state where the mission changes.
- 14:23Your objective is no longer to solve problems for others.
- 14:28The sole purpose outside of working time is to replenish
- 14:34your own reserves. And I want you to think of the
- 14:41truth of the statement that you can't pour from an empty cup.
- 14:51And you realise the more you replenish your energy levels,
- 14:57the more impact you can have when you're back in your focus
- 15:03zone. And I want you to already start
- 15:10to think about what it would mean to replenish your own
- 15:14reserves. You'll get a sense that you will
- 15:19feel less exhausted, more empowered, and every time that
- 15:28additional energy enables you to have more impact, you will feel
- 15:33proud, but also the pride that comes from knowing how wisely
- 15:42you've chosen to balance your time.
- 15:49And it doesn't have to be every day, but each day you seek out
- 15:57replenishment zones. Consider these secret power ups
- 16:03that restore your energy faster than anything else.
- 16:10And the first power up comes from nutrition.
- 16:16Every nutritious meal becomes an upgrade, and particularly
- 16:25nutrition rich salads or juices. And you'll notice how your body
- 16:33responds when you nourish it with each nutrient.
- 16:39It's as if your cells are charging, your mind becoming
- 16:44clearer, your mood more steady. Food isn't about convenience or
- 16:52a chore. This is your power up, a tool
- 16:56for resilience and vitality. And the second power up is
- 17:06nature. And whether it's a City Park,
- 17:13even a walk around a cemetery, or a weekend out of the city,
- 17:22you feel your nervous system becoming calm in nature.
- 17:28Easier to breathe deeper, think clearer, and let go of the
- 17:34tension that never belonged to you anyway.
- 17:40Because what if you've been burning the candle at both ends?
- 17:44Eventually the candle disappears, but time in nature
- 17:49extends the candle, and you'll be able to feel the contrast
- 17:57between man made stress and nature's rhythm.
- 18:03And in that contrast, your real self full of energy reawakens.
- 18:16And the third power up is movement.
- 18:21This doesn't have to be lifting weights or going to the gym a
- 18:28long run because even a short walk, a stretch between calls,
- 18:38becomes a signal to your brain. You matter too, and your energy
- 18:45bar begins to glow again, incrementally going from red to
- 18:50amber, amber to green and then bright green.
- 18:57So whether it's swimming, walking, dancing, I want you to
- 19:04get a feeling that whatever the movement, you feel more alive,
- 19:11more present, more in played this game long enough to know
- 19:25that status points are nice, but they don't restore health.
- 19:31Only freedom points do that. So every moment you choose your
- 19:37well-being, and every time you prioritize movement, nature, or
- 19:45rest, you accumulate more of those freedom points.
- 19:53What if you've been playing the wrong game for too long?
- 19:57You've looked at the scoreboard of financial success, but you've
- 20:03taken your eye of freedom and health.
- 20:07And what if it turns out? But in the game of your life,
- 20:14those are the points that matter more.
- 20:20Because if it is the case that the moment you run out of
- 20:25energy, you lose all of the finance points, isn't it risky
- 20:34to be a level 10 on money and a level 123 on health?
- 20:43If you were playing a computer game where you had all of that
- 20:49money but could lose it all, wouldn't you prioritize health,
- 20:56Wellness? You do anything to replenish the
- 21:01energy levels and in doing so you get to enjoy more of the
- 21:07financial success, whether that's within a game or within
- 21:14your life. And sometimes it's a challenge
- 21:20because what if the thing that gives you money also gives you
- 21:25fulfilment and status and significance?
- 21:32That would make sense if it also gave health.
- 21:36Too much of that one thing could be depleting the health, energy
- 21:42and vitality levels. But what if now that you see,
- 21:50the more you move, the more nutritious you are, the more
- 21:58time you spend in nature, that the better quality your sleep
- 22:03and rest becomes. And with that quality rest, the
- 22:11more energy you have to lead, to create, and to win as you start
- 22:17to understand that you're not doing less, you're doing better,
- 22:24smarter, more intentionally. And the obsession that drove
- 22:30success, What if that now fuels self respect?
- 22:39Too much control is out of control.
- 22:43And the moment you find more of that balance, that rhythm, the
- 22:48easier it becomes to elevate everything.
- 22:56Because if your energy gets to 0, your impact close to 0.
- 23:02And what if you begin to believe that every minute spell it's
- 23:09been outdoors or nourished or moving isn't lost time, it's
- 23:15multiplied time. It extends the runway, gives you
- 23:22more energy points, more clarity, more calm, more of you
- 23:29to do what you want to do. And as you drift deeper into
- 23:37this way of being, I want you to picture yourself one month from
- 23:43now because of more nourishment, nutrition, nature and movement.
- 23:50See yourself waking up refreshed.
- 23:54See yourself with the energy bar all the way up to green.
- 23:59See yourself feeling proud of how you've chosen to live with
- 24:03more balance, with more clarity. See yourself empowered and see
- 24:10that version of you is able able to do even more during your work
- 24:17time because you're not depleted of energy.
- 24:23There is no downside in this future, only upsides.
- 24:32I want you to get a sense that this is a winnable game, a
- 24:37desirable game, A game to replenish your energy levels
- 24:46with three power ups that naturally do that.
- 24:53And sometimes they will feel take a step backwards before you
- 24:58can take a step forwards. But this is all linked to
- 25:02replenishment. It's time to leave this journey
- 25:08in your imagination all the way to the here and the now.
- 25:13So take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 25:19nose. Just wiggle your fingers and
- 25:22wiggle your toes. Connect and calibrate into the
- 25:24here and the now as I now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken
- 25:30you. Starting to count 123 waking up
- 25:36456 more alert 7-8. Open your eyes.
- 25:40Open your eyes 910. Wide awake.
- 25:44Wide awake. Wide awake.
