  Venango County, Pennsylvania. It started in January.

  Actually, in in January there's a bridge.

  In Oil City, PA that is referred to as the Y Bridge.

  In writing it is spelled WYEI. Don't know why because the

  reason it's called the Y bridge is when.

  You look at it from the top, it looks like the letter Y it.

  You know it, it's a straight line and then it then it
• 40:31
  separates, bifurcates and goes two different ways.

  Uncle, Uncle Walt would say a train track diverted in the

  woods or diverged in the woods. I can't.

  This particular bridge is. An interesting one in that it

  seems like people. Just fall off this bridge.

  there is a lot of drug use, there are there is a lot of

  crime related to that drug abuse that happens there.

  And so sometimes it might be a murder, might be somebody being.

  Shoved off of the White Bridge, It might be a drunk person

  falling off the White Bridge, but when they fall, they land

  into the Allegheny River, which is a dangerous, dangerous river.

  It flows quickly. It's not terribly deep, but as

  as the river winds it creates deep spots that then.

  Suck bodies down below and in January it is usually below
• 41:38
  freezing and only because it is a moving body of water does it
• 41:43
  does it Sometimes it ices over completely, but in this case it
• 41:47
  wasn't iced over completely. And a young man went went in his
• 41:53
  body was discovered on Monday about 4 miles downriver.

  Somebody in Pennsylvania, they call them camps.

  Like you might have a camp and sometimes a camp is literally
• 42:07
  just a place that you go camping.

  Other times it's like your second home.
• 42:10
  It's a nice it's a cabin or something like that.

  In this case, it was one of the latter is a really nice place

  where there are several of these second homes kind of places and

  a woman went out to check on her dock and thought she saw a snake

  and she had found his body. Now that is sad.

  The interesting thing is I talked to the mother of the the
• 42:37
  victim of the fall and and she believes that her son was
• 42:43
  pushed. She believes it was a hate crime
• 42:45
  because he's gay. She believes a whole bunch of
• 42:49
  things, but there doesn't seem to be any evidence supporting
• 42:54
  anything more than, at least to me, that he accidentally fell
• 43:00
  off. I mean I it does appear that
• 43:04
  there were other people on the bridge at the time.

  There is video where a guy. 'S like I just.

  Saw a guy fall. Off and you know it's like
• 43:10
  running video so those are those are interesting cases to cover

  because you're talking to 1st responders, you're talking to
• 43:19
  state police, you're talking to witnesses people who have you
• 43:24
  know may have witnessed him fall or may have witnessed the
• 43:27
  discovery of the body. You're talking to coroners,
• 43:30
  you're talking to the family members and and so those they're
• 43:35
  very interesting and it's actually very hard to stay
• 43:38
  completely neutral to to the story and report it as here is
• 43:45
  the story right here, here are the.

  Facts. It's very difficult it it.

  It's hard not to get pulled one way or the other.

  And we're human. We do get pulled one way or the

  other often times, but then you have to write it straight down

  the middle and and that's hard. So that's an interesting case

  from recently there. There are some really good

  there. There are a couple of really

  good things like, you know, same area Oil City has a real hard

  time with with it's not, it's not too many people, but there

  are homeless people that camp out along the Allegheny River
• 44:25
  and leave huge messes behind them.

  And of course, these are people oftentimes with mental health
• 44:31
  problems, with drug addiction problems, and but they leave
• 44:37
  these huge messes. And this past summer there was a
• 44:41
  man who just decided, you know what, I'm cleaning up.

  I'm cleaning up the riverbank and he spent his time with, you
• 44:51
  know, a few friends and family members and just cleaned up the
• 44:56
  area. And I thought that was awesome.
• 44:58
  You know, stories like that are a lot of fun, so I'm trying to
• 45:02
  think of other good like Franklin.
• 45:05
  Which is the the The county seat in Venango County is a beautiful
• 45:13
  little town and. Franklin has this motto that
• 45:19
  it's always eventful and they're always, there are always things
• 45:22
  going on in Franklin and I love it when they when they're like
• 45:26
  light up night is something that Franklin does that is just so
• 45:29
  much fun. I can get my drone out there and
• 45:32
  I can, I can cover up, you know, the little small town parades
• 45:36
  and lighting the Christmas tree and the fireworks and stuff like
• 45:39
  that. It's just a lot of fun.

  Maybe the funnest. Man, I'm going on.

  But maybe the funnest is like the little things you know
• 45:49
  little. Awards that students get in our

  area or, you know, a business person that is succeeding,

  people that are making a difference.

  the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, right, that

  have, and I am a member of said church.

  And we have a, we have a way of life where we don't partake of

  drugs and alcohol, or at least we shouldn't, right?

  Not naive enough to to think that people don't.

  But that's what that's what she's talking about here.

  So will it weigh more heavily more so than the average juror

  and they make may have tunnel vision, Will it make it

  difficult for them to accept Corey's lifestyle and for that

  matter Eric's as the alleged victim using allegedly gummies

  and alcohol etcetera, etcetera? OK, so my opinion on this,

  having been raised in the church and being an active member of

  the church and having been born in Utah and spent my summers and

  my winters back there, grandpa and grandma's and stuff like

  that, spent my childhood there. No, nobody in Utah is under the

  delusion that there aren't drugs and drug and alcohol problems in
• 49:07
  the state of Utah. Everybody gets it.

  Everybody has a family member or a loved one that that drinks
• 49:13
  alcohol or does drugs, right? However, there are there is a
• 49:19
  segment of the church that are members of the church.

  I would say that do take it kind of personally and do get a.

  Little. Holier than thou and do kind of
• 49:33
  look down the know their nose at this kind of behavior.

  So, yeah, I I think that it's possible that on the jury that

  there are one or two or three or twelve of those who may hold it

  thought of. Why are all these non members
