- 0:02SPEAKER_00: All right, everyone.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Welcome to another episode of Wellness Wednesday.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: It's always an honor to be your host here.
- 0:09SPEAKER_00: My name is Marilyn Marisic, and I am zooming in from the beautiful Pacific Northwest on this sunny day.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: And so I'm so glad that you're here, that you're listening in.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: I guarantee you're in for a treat.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: But we have a very special topic and a very special guest.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I always love these conversations on Wellness Wednesday.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: If you've been here with us over the last four years, you know that we talk about in order to get well, fix the cell.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: In order to be well, fix the cell.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: In order to age well, fix the cell.
- 0:39SPEAKER_00: You get it, right?
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: But we really talk about that root cause wellness and at that cellular level.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: So that's what our conversation is going to be about tonight.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: And so we're going to be talking about the topic of move well, age well, the cellular side of joint health.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: And I am joined by a very special guest.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: And boy, as I'm getting to know her, she's a gem.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: And I know you guys are in for a treat to just listen to her and hear her heart.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: She's just such a great reader.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you can't listen to music out loud.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Quick reminder.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Listen to music out loud.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: Mute the loud.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Molly.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Molly.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: Molly, you need to put yourself on mute.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: Just a minute here.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Sorry about that, guys.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: Well, we are going to let me just introduce my guest, Dr.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Janet Klein.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Boy, she is a gem, and she was just telling us that she's zooming in from Arizona where it's nice and hot there today.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: But I want to just read a little bit of Janet's bio just so that you get an idea of who she is.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Just such a special person.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: And then I'm going to have her tell a little bit more about her story.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: But Dr.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Janet Klein is a recently retired chiropractor with nearly 40 years of experience helping people get to the root cause of health rather than simply managing systems.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: She's been happily married to her husband, Brent, for 38 years and is a proud mom of three grown sons and a grandma to 10 amazing grandchildren.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: So wonderful.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Absolutely love that.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: But today she is dedicated to educating people on the science of cellular health and empowering people to take a proactive approach to healthy aging, vitality, and wellness.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: Janet, it's an honor to have you here.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: And I'm wondering as we kind of dive into this, if you can just start by really sharing your story, a little bit more about how you came into this topic.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: And really, I know you just have such a passion for root cause wellness, but give us a little bit more about your background and a little bit about your heart and why this is something you're so excited about.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: And and I feel so honored that you asked me to be one of the speakers tonight.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: And because this really does it is why I'm here.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: And as you heard, I just retired as a chiropractor of almost 40 years of practice.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: And in those 40 years, I've used really good supplements, really good biohacking kind of things, acupuncture, you name it.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: And like you said, my body, my passion's always been to try to get to the root cause.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Well, Dr.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: Brett Brimhall is a really dear friend of mine, and he actually introduced me to life vantage nearly 10 years before I finally said yes.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: And I want to make it clear that it wasn't because I doubted him at all or the products.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: In fact, if it wasn't for Dr.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: Brimhol, I probably wouldn't be talking to you today about activation.
- 3:59SPEAKER_01: But he's always been someone I trusted because he only recommends the best.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: And he does his science and he does his background and checking and everything.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: But for me, it was just the timing wasn't right.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: So my aha took quite a while.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: The other thing that was so funny is that my husband, about well, it's been about four years ago now, maybe even five, he needed a total shoulder replacement surgery, a complete reversed.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: So it's like the opposite of how your shoulder works.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: So you have the socket here and everything.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: So they had to do it reversed because it was so damaged.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: And so I called up Dr.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Brimhall and I said, listen, my husband's going to go through the surgery.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: What should I give him so that he does the best that he can before and after surgery?
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: And he told me about the collagen.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: I found it just collagen.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: He said, We just came out with this.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: Get him on the collagen, get him on the pro tandem because that'll help him through surgery.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Well, it did.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: And the two-week checkup after his surgery, the orthopedic surgeon said, What have you been doing?
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: And he said, Why?
- 5:11SPEAKER_01: He said, Well, because I've never seen anybody like heal this well and this fast.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: And you told me you didn't even need pain meds that I prescribed you.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: And so my husband said, Well, I don't know what I did.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: I just did whatever my wife told me to do.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: So the doctor said, Well, if you could, if your wife would tell all of my patients the secret of what she told you, I would look like a much better doctor, and everybody would have have a waiting list.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: So, anyways, it really caught my attention.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: But even then, and I think back now, I'm thinking, oh my gosh, how bad that I still didn't tell patients about this, because there were so many years that went by that people could have been benefiting from what I learned just from my husband.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: And then almost two years ago, when Life Vantage came out with the Mind Body GLP1 launch, we were at a chiropractic seminar, and Dr.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: Brimhall said, Hey, you really got to look at the science behind this one.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: And I said, All right, the timing was better for me.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: I said, Okay, I gotta be a product of the product, or I'm not gonna talk about it.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: And that's pretty much as I started learning more about gene activation, and I realized this wasn't just another supplement, and that it followed our whole chiropractic philosophy of the power that made the body can heal the body as long as you give it what it needs.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: And so that was pretty much my big aha moment of first of all, how dumb I was that I didn't listen to him years before that, but I finally got it, and that's why I'm here because just the whole science of activation is amazing.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: And then the results, I mean, the science is proven, and that's what got me.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: But the results that I've seen in this last, it'll be two years in October, had just blown me away.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: I've had 11 years exposure to this incredible science, and it never ceases to blow my mind.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: The stories are so profound.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: And it was an ABC primetime report that I had seen that absolutely caught my eye.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness, how have I never heard of this?
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Mind-blowing.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, truly, truly.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: Well, I've jotted a few questions down.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: I'm wondering if we can go through just to kind of talk about the cellular level and cellular health and how that relates to joint health.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: So, you know, when most people think about joint health, they think about the knees, they think about the hips, they think about the shoulders.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: But what do you mean, Janet, when we're talking about the cellular side of joint health?
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: And why does cellular health matter to movement, recovery, and healthy aging?
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: Well, that's pretty much that's a million-dollar question, because it affects every single one of us.
- 7:57SPEAKER_01: And I think if we ask the right questions, and sometimes we don't know what questions to ask.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: As a doctor, when I have someone that comes in, it's really, really important to listen to what they're telling you because you may not know what you need, but if the doctors out there would listen to everything you're telling us, then we would kind of think, oh, you're asking the right questions, kind of a thing.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, when people think about joint health, they usually think about their knees and their hips and their shoulders and arthritis and all that.
- 8:30SPEAKER_01: But the truth is every one of those tissues is made up of cells.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: And if the cells aren't functioning well, like you just mentioned, eventually the tissues won't function well either.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: And one of the biggest challenges in that that we keep going back to is oxidative stress.
- 8:51SPEAKER_01: And if you go to PubMed and you type in oxidative stress, and PubMed is a National Institute of Health where all the doctors and everybody go and they don't know what to do, and they can look up studies.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: There's over 400,000 studies on oxidative stress published that link it to aging and many chronic health diseases, not just our joints.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: So go do that.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: Every day, it seems like more and more that we're exposed to environmental stresses and processed foods and toxins and poor sleep and emotional stress and all of that more now than previous generations.
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: I look back at how I was raised on our ranch, how my parents were raised, and a lot of you that are younger on this call, think about your grandparents and things.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, we grew gardens, we we got out, we did things, it was nothing like the environmental stresses and things that we're exposed to nowadays.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: And all of that increases oxidative stress.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: And when you're young, our bodies naturally produce abundant antioxidants and they can repair themselves efficiently.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: But as we age, those protective systems begin kind of slowing down.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: And once uh we realize that well, we kind of noticed that we're getting out of bed, and we're like going, oh, you know, it's taking us longer to do things, we're moving more slowly, and our joints just don't move the way they're supposed to.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: And it's sad that we it takes that kind of thing and the movement being slow and and not working right to realize I should have been paying attention to this when I was younger.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: And a lot of us say, I don't think I would have done as many of those dumb things that I did when I was young, or I wouldn't be in the shape I'm in.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: So we all go through those dumb periods.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: But, anyways, as you get older, the collagen starts breaking down faster.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: People come in, they say, Well, how do I fix my knee?
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: And I think the better question that we ought to we have to get people thinking about is how do you create a healthier environment for every cell that makes up that knee?
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: And that's what excites me about activation, because rather than simply just adding something to the body, um, we're supporting our own ability to protect, repair, and function the way our bodies were designed to function.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: So lots of things.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: It's so true.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: It's so true.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: And as we're talking about that, let's talk about the tri-synergizer.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: So Life Vantage has this incredible product at Trio.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: It's called the Tri-Synergizer, but it's made, it's the it's activating the Nerf 2 pathway, the Nerf 1 pathway, and the NAD.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: And it's personally what I take every day now that we have it.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: I think it's absolutely, yes, it's a non-negotiable.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: There she's holding up the packet.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: It's a non-negotiable.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: And I mean it.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: I will not go without it because of what it does.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: But can we talk about that tri-synergizer?
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: And can you help us really understand what each of those elements do and how they affect the body differently?
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: So we just talked about oxidative stress that every single person has.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: And if you haven't seen the ABC Prime Time Investigator report, ask whoever got you on this call to send it to you so you can watch it because it explains it so well.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: Because everybody does.
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: But that's we have a genetic pathway in our body called NERF 2 and our F2.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: And that's why Life Vantage called Protandum Nerf 2, because it's activating that genetic pathway.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: And that pathway is responsible for getting so many things excited.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, you're adding a whiteboard.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: I thought, did I push something?
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: But so nerf two is what's protecting the cells.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: And we're because we're exposed to so many things, it's what lowers our oxidative stress by 40% in 30 days.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: It can increase glutathione by 300%.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: But the enzymes that we were talking about when we were younger and had an abundance of them that help with fighting off the free radicals and oxidative stress, these are huge antioxidants.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: And so nerf two increases that pathway and makes our body make more of those antioxidants on their own.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: So it's not like taking a vitamin C or eating more blueberries or anything that we know, which is still good, but this is making your body make that work better, like a million to one times better.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: That's the Nerf two.
- 13:43SPEAKER_01: The Nerf one is just as important because the Nerf one increases mitochondria.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: And that's like the power of the cells.
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: That's what gets all the energy going to all the cells in our body.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: You know what's so cool is my granddaughter was visiting last week, and I was asking her about she's in seventh grade now, she was in sixth grade.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: And I said, Well, what excites you most about school?
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: What subjects?
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: And she goes, Oh, I love science.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: And I said, Well, what have you done recently?
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: She goes, I did this science report and it was on mitochondria.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, in sixth grade, you did a science report on mitochondria.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: I said, That's what I'm going to be talking about next week.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: I said, What did you tell everybody?
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: She goes, Well, the teacher said we can make whatever kind of experiment we want, or not experiment, but display, a scientific display.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: And on, and they base it on anything we wanted to base it on.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: Didn't have to, I said, did you draw out the mitochondria?
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: She goes, No.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: I said, Well, what did you do?
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: She goes, I got a shoebox and I pretended like it was a jail, and I built a cell, like with toothpicks around to make this cell happen.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: And inside I put a little Lego man, and that was like the nucleus of the cell grandma.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I'm kind of getting it now.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: I said, So what made you think about this?
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: He goes, Well, he can't get out of jail.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: That's really important to keep him alive while he's in jail.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: So we had the cafeteria over here that we could feed him good food, and we had the water that we could do this.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: So she did this whole experiment on mitochondria.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I need to record you doing that.
- 15:19SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: In sixth grade, we're talking we're talking about mitochondria and how important it is to power up the cell and without everything and how we feed it.
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: And that's what activation is about.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: If we're not activating that cell to produce more mitochondria, that's key.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: You can't just give it something, you got to make the body make it.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: And then NED, that's like the repair and maintain the cell.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: So NAD would be like all the janitors and everything that was working in there to go help repair things.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: It increases sirtoons, but it's it's kind of getting rid of all the different, oh, I want to say garbage in there, but it increases metabolism.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: It's but it's they're all three together, work synergistically, all by themselves.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: They're really powerful.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: But you need, I mean, if you thought about your body as a house and you had the garbage man come out and take out the garbage, that's Nerf two to get rid of the trash.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: Nerf one would be like the power company.
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: Right now, I would not want to live without electricity in Arizona as hard as it is.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: I want the power on, I want energy.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: And then NAD would be like cell communication, like our cell phones, talking to all the cells saying, How are you doing?
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: Do you need to get rid of this?
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Do you need to do that?
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: Let's get metabolism.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: So that's how come all three work together and are so powerful.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: I probably went a little bit.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: No, I love that.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: And I love your granddaughter's analogy.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: That's so great.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I'm a very visual person, so I think that that's super helpful.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: And I have to share, I share this on Wellness Wednesday often because I think it's significant.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: I started tracking my own blood work several years back, functional medicine blood work, which like looks at everything.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: And I've I shared before that I've been activating now for 11 years.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: And I've interviewed Dr.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: Nancy Bryant, who's on this call.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: We've talked about the evolution of activation.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: And for me, it started with protonum nerf two, then proteanum nerf one came along, then NAD came along.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: So I could feel the difference.
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: I experienced the difference adding those layers.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: It was really extraordinary.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: And in my latest blood work, my chronological age is 57, but I am 18.2 years younger than my calendar date, which is really incredible.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Proof to me that what these products do to reverse that aging process, we we say turn back the clock, but for me, it's proof.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: And it's proof in how I feel.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: It does turn back the clock.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: And that is one of the published studies.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: And they did it in mice, where it expanded their life there by seven years.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: And so it's so we can't we can't physically, I'm 64, and I can't be 49, but I am chronologically.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: So I love when you do those kinds of tests and think the the proof is in those tests and how you're feeling.
- 18:20SPEAKER_01: Because I've known I've gone without thinking I'm just gonna do protonum for a while and skip the mitochondria, the NERF one, and I feel different.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: So all three working together, but that's cool that your chronological ages.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: I know a lot of people on here that have been on it for a while, are having those same kinds of results.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's amazing.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: It's wonderful.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: I just can't, I can't recommend it or shout it enough.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: Everybody needs activation.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: But let's talk a little bit more about this kind of concept of joint health movement.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: So healthy movement involves so much more than our joints.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: But can you explain the role of connective tissue, including fascia, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and collagen, and why those tissues are so important?
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: Sure, and you're right.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: Most people think joints are just when you move your joint, and this is your elbow joint, your knee joint, or whatever.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: And they you mostly think of bone and cartilage.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: And so it's kind of overlooked.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: But fascia, if you were to take like plastic wraps around wrap and wrap it around really tight on your arm where you couldn't move it across your wrist, even across your elbow, where it was like a cast, that's what fascia does.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: So fascia protects all of the muscles, even your organs, your tendons, everything like that.
- 19:39SPEAKER_01: So this fascia gets really, really tight.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: So it's really important to keep things kind of mobile and moving and things like that.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: And then the tendons are what connect the muscles to the bones, so that you can move your joint.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: And then ligaments are what uh support your joints.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: So they all have function, and then, of course, cartilage, if you think cartilage between your knees, and that's what's cushioning everything.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: But collagen is that the structural protein that holds all of that together.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: In fact, collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, and it's found in your skin, in your bones, in your tendons, ligaments, fascia, your discs have a lot of collagen, even your blood vessels, anything that you think of that needs to move in your body, which is everything, and that's why we're talking about movement, not just your joints.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: The challenge is that collagen production naturally declines as we age.
- 20:44SPEAKER_01: So it's really good, like up to the first 20 years, and then it stops kind of progressing as fast because we need it more when we're growing, of course, and then it slows down.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: And the other thing that's bad is it's broken down faster as we age.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: So we're not only are we not producing it as much, but it's slowing, it's it's speeding up how fast it breaks down.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: And so, why supporting healthy collagen production becomes so important if we want to stay active and recover well and continue doing the things like we love to do.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: So, healthy movement really starts with healthy connective tissue, and healthy connective tissue starts with healthy cells.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: So we're still going back to the root cause.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: Let's get the cells doing what they're supposed to do.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: It's so true.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: It's so true.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: And it's, I'm sure that just in your practice, you had to have just noticed that collagen is a big deal for sure.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: Adjustments hold better, especially.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: So, this is probably the most favorite thing for chiropractors to recommend to patients is this healthy glow.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: Because if you can improve disk height, if you can improve The connective tissue of everything in the fashion, all that you're going to see better results and you're going to be able to move.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: That's key.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: And we're talking about specifically the liquid collagen with life antege, true science liquid collagen, and it activates that own body's collagen production.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: It's extraordinary.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: And I know one of our most popular combinations is combining that with the nerve too.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: That's that healthy glow stack.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: So just an absolute favorite must-have.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: But Dr.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: Dr.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Janet, before we move on, could you give us just, I mean, you've talked about just like overall wellness, but can you give us kind of a 30-second version of why a healthy gut matters?
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Can you talk about that a little bit?
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: And just what does that have to do with healthy aging and joints and all those things?
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: So if I only have 30 seconds to talk about that, I think everybody, it's plastered all over the news.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: And it's your gut is the root of everything.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's your immune system, it's how happy you are because of how much serotonin's made in your gut.
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: But if even if you're eating the healthiest foods and you're taking the best supplements and your digestive system isn't breaking them down or absorbing them as efficiently as they should, or maintaining that healthy gut barrier, if all of those things aren't working right in your somewhat 30 feet of intestinal tract, think of the length of a school bus.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: So if all of that is not working the way it's supposed to, even if you were taking a million-dollar supplement, you're not going to absorb it.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: Your cells are not going to be fed the nutrients that they need.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: So the gut, even though we're talking about movement and healthy glow and our collagen and protandum, which how it got patented, I'm backing up just a second.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: How our healthy glow, the liquid collagen and the protandum got patented, is because when they put it together and did all the research on it, it activated so many more genes.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: But they also found that it did all of these things for just about all the different organs in your body, all the genes, and you can go look at the research.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: I'm not going to go into the details, but I'm blown away that the patent showed how many genes were affected in our overall health, our brain, our heart, our intestinal tract, everywhere you need to move for that patent of the liquid collagen and protandum is key.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: But gut, your healthy, your gut absorbs everything.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: And so you got to get it healthy.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: And I know that's more than 30 seconds, but we could spend an hour just or more all day just on the importance of gut health.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: And and that's kind of what got me into Life Vantage was because of our GLP mind body at that time, because it helped with monitoring the GLP1 system and activating those cells and part of the fiber that helped, and then our new P84 that incorporates every single thing.
- 25:08SPEAKER_01: It's like nine or 10 products in one thing.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's fantastic.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: So, but yes, if and if people aren't, if they're noticing that you're not moving like you should be and things like that, then you always want to look at the gut too.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: Because if you're not absorbing or doing anything, it's it's key to overall wellness and health.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 25:30SPEAKER_00: Everything is connected, and it's it's hard to just address one thing when you're not looking at everything overall, which kind of leads me into our next question.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, we're talking, we've talked about specific products, but what are some simple practical things that anyone can do any day, every day that really creates an a healthier environment for the body?
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: Things like movement hydration.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: I know you probably got a good list that you've recommended over the years, but from your heart to ours, what would you recommend?
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: So think of your body as a jigsaw puzzle.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: And you need every piece to make that picture that you're putting together on that table to be perfect and to look great.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: And if you're missing, you know how you lose one piece of that puzzle and you're looking everywhere and it drives you crazy.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: Your body's doing the same thing.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: So it's not a matter of just moving daily or exercising or drinking water or eating real foods.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, and that's all real key.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: That's why I tell everybody eat real foods.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: I don't put anybody on like strict diets.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: It's like if you can pick it or grow it, eat it.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: No package, no preservatives, anything.
- 26:38SPEAKER_01: Get back to how your grandparents kind of lived.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: The movement's important, but I have a lot of people that say, but I hurt, I can't move.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: And the whole thing is it like use it or lose it is real.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: And so getting rid of some of the inflammation so you can move is critical.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: And that's where that pro tandem comes in, nerf two, to get rid of the oxidative stress and inflammation.
- 27:02SPEAKER_01: Once people start getting on just that one alone, they start thinking, oh, I don't hurt as much, I can move.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: There's so many things, just I tell people just in the morning, because I do squats, and you're like, I can't do squats, my knees hurt.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: Well, then just go down that far.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: Well, I don't have time to do it.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: I'm like, do you brush your teeth?
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: Well, if you brush your teeth and brush your teeth and do squats at the same time just to get your body moving.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: And we're not talking about going and running five miles.
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: Go out your front door, walk five minutes one way and five minutes back just to start getting some activity.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: Of course, if you have serious kind of things, always check with your medical doctor, whoever your provider is, is make sure it's okay to do any kind of movement.
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: But drinking water, make sure it's not just water, electrolytes.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: We have a great new electrolyte that has 74 trace minerals and everything else, not just electrolytes.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: And be well, think positive thoughts.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: Listen, I was I posted something on my story today about a neurologist that talked about brain health, what you think about, you bring about.
- 28:11SPEAKER_01: So it's like the brim holes even mentioned the six steps of wellness.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: You gotta look at what you're exposed to, environmentals moving, and getting activators in your body so your body can do what it was designed to do.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: Practical things everybody can do each day.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: And honestly, we've heard this before, and we've said this before, but movement is medicine.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: My mom is in her early 80s, and she was really struggling with some just significant knee pain fairly recently.
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: And because of that, yeah, it's just triggering an idea that you shared here.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Because of that pain, she just didn't want to get out and walk and move.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: And I just really challenged her mom, even if it's halfway down the block, just a little bit each day.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: Well, she's now, she's in Arizona, she's going to the mall every day, and she's walking, you know, several laps around the mall.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Now she's not a contender for knee surgery.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: Now she's just feeling so much better.
- 29:07SPEAKER_00: It's radically changed.
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: So movement is medicine.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: It's just some of those very simple, basic things that we can do.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: So I love those tips, Dr.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: Janet.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: So, so good.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: You did start to tease us before we started this conversation about your dog.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: And I'd love to hear your story about your dog before we wrap things up.
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: So last week we live in the country and he got attacked by a coyote.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: And he's a little guy.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: And the coyote didn't, it didn't kill him, but I thought he wasn't gonna make it.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: And this was last Tuesday.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: He hurt so bad, I there was no way I was gonna get him, move him or get him to the vet, or do any of that.
- 29:46SPEAKER_01: And I seriously thought a vet's not gonna do anything but clean him up.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: So I I got him in a tub, I cleaned up all the wounds, and he got bit like behind the shoulder blades and on his butt.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: I'm sure ribs were broken.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: I mean, he was hurting, he didn't want to eat, he didn't want to do anything.
- 30:00SPEAKER_01: So all I did was just baby him.
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: I couldn't even get him to chew up the pit tandem because he hurt so bad everywhere.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: So that first day, it was just watch him, see if he was gonna make it kind of a thing, make sure he was drinking water and doing all of these things.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: And I'd and I thought, well, I'll get some really good wet dog food because that'll be easier to chew.
- 30:23SPEAKER_01: And I broke up the pit tandem, they're really easy, and normally he will chew it right up.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: But I broke it up and I stuck it in the little tiny pieces of his the wet food, and I just hand fed him because he couldn't even eat.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: And the next day I was able, he moved a little better, and I was doing twice a day.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: I would give him a full one in the morning and a full one, but he still didn't want to move.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: He hurt, you couldn't touch him.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: By the third day, he was walking around, and I'm like, oh my gosh, I cannot believe this.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: By the fourth day, he was back to eating regular food, he was back to wanting the pit tandem and being able to chew it and and happy, and he was would wag his tail when he would say his name.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Oh my gosh, I can't.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: I thought he would die the first night, honest to God.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: It's been a week.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: He's jumping up and down on the bed now.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: He's getting up and down.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: He has a little stool outside that he likes to get on.
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: He's running around and walking down the hill when I go feed the horse.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: I am blown away.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: That's amazing.
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: When you lower that oxidative stress, even in dogs.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: I I really I wish I would have taken a video.
- 31:39SPEAKER_01: This was another one of those ones where why didn't I take a before picture and show how bad he was?
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: And I thought, no, I don't want to do that.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: But but he's back to himself.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: I'm like in a week.
- 31:49SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: I love that he's doing so much better.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: I, you know, we shared just a little bit before too.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: I have a great day, and it just turned nine years old.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: And we've been activating him with nerf two since the very beginning.
- 32:05SPEAKER_00: And he really does act.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: I think he thinks he's about three years old and he moves so well.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: So we're not one that's really worrying about those joints.
- 32:14SPEAKER_00: We've just really been addressing things at a cellular level, and it's been a really wonderful thing.
- 32:19SPEAKER_00: So, and I love that we have products for both pets as well as humans.
- 32:25SPEAKER_01: Getting back to the root cause and cellular health.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: And I know that people have been asking questions, and I know that we didn't get to a lot of the answers, but well, I'd love to hear as we kind of wrap this up, Dr.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: Gianna.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: I always like to ask, like, what we've talked about activation, we've talked about some products, but I always like to ask our guests, what are your personal must-haves, non-negotiable activation products?
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: Throw them on us.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: Try sin and geyser all the way.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: My collagen that I take every day.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: I have them all right here because I'm thinking it's hard to pick out just one because they're all so dang important, but these are my non-negotiable.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: But I started, so I go back and forth between the phytal.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: So the phytal is just two packs, and it's gut health.
- 33:20SPEAKER_01: And so I started with the mind body GLP, and that really did a lot of things.
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: My visceral fat index went down.
- 33:29SPEAKER_01: I lost four inches off my belly, it did so many things.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: And at that point, we didn't know the whole healthy weight combination with using protandem with it and everything it did, and how it activates 22 genes for organ health.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: So it does so much more than weight loss, but gut health, gut health, gut health.
- 33:48SPEAKER_01: So I go back and forth between that one and this P84 to get everything lined back up.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: And then, of course, Axial.
- 33:56SPEAKER_01: And that's another, that's another whole Axial is the only reason I'm here is because of this one product, Dr.
- 34:04SPEAKER_01: Bramhall would not have joined Life Vantage if it wouldn't have been for Axio and activating brain health.
- 34:12SPEAKER_00: Truly incredible.
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: That's an uh that's a whole other amazing story in and of itself.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: It truly is.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Yes, it is.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: Well, I have loved this conversation.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: So, so beneficial.
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: Before we wrap it, any final words that you want to just leave with our audience on the benefits of cellular health in regards to joint health.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: One of the most important things is that as a doctor, the most frustrating things that I went through is trying to figure out what to fix first in people.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: What do I start with giving them collagen?
- 34:49SPEAKER_01: Do I start with do they need vitamin D or do they need this or do they need that?
- 34:53SPEAKER_01: The thing about activation is that your body knows what to do first and what needs to be done first.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: So, like I said, with even just pro tandem, and I shouldn't say just even because it's not just even, but when you Google pro tandem or oxidative stress, and there's 400,000 published articles on everything that it does, and all the different chronic health conditions.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: I didn't have to figure out what I needed, if it the liver needed to be worked on first, the gut or the brain or whatever.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: When you activate your cells on a genetic level, so neutrogenomics, giving your body the right nutrition, so to activate your genes to work on a cellular level, it goes to where your body needs to work first and what needs to repair first.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: Let the body heal and do what it's supposed to do when it's supposed to do it.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: That's what I love about activation.
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: And then from there, it's all about if my joints need to move more, I'm gonna take the collagen.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: If it's my gut, I'm gonna do P84.
- 35:59SPEAKER_01: And if you do that all together, depending on how serious of a condition that you're dealing with or health issues, you might need to do more of really extensive start to help your body so that you don't have to figure out what do I need to do first?
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: But and and I could talk hours.
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: I'm just so excited and passionate because of what I've seen.
- 36:27SPEAKER_01: And my whole thing is I want more people to know about this.
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: So even if every how many people on here?
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: 115.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: So do you realize that even if you went out and told one person, if each 115 people of you went out and told just one person when we get off this call what you just heard and how powerful activation is, uh that would be 250 more people.
- 36:52SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's that's the power of one more.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: Just one more thing a day, one more person a day.
- 37:01SPEAKER_01: Who can you tell?
- 37:02SPEAKER_01: We need help.
- 37:03SPEAKER_01: We really do need help sharing this message.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: So go out there and bless other people.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: It's truly well said.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: It's the best kept secret, and we don't want it to be a secret, and there's so many lives to be touched.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: But this has been an amazing conversation, and I really appreciate your time and your wisdom and your knowledge.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Dr.
- 37:21SPEAKER_00: Janet, for being here tonight.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: And thank you to all of our listeners.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: I so appreciate your time in joining us.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: And feel free to join us back every Wednesday.
- 37:29SPEAKER_00: We have a different guest, different topics in Wellness Wednesday, always working to educate you and just bring this world of activation to everyone.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: So thank you for being here, Janet.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: Thank you, everyone.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 37:41SPEAKER_00: Thank you for asking.
- 37:43SPEAKER_00: You are so welcome.
- 37:44SPEAKER_00: All right, everyone.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: Have a great night.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: See ya.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Stephen.
