Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_00: In this episode,
- 0:01we at the Myth of Education Podcast want to make it clear where
- 0:05we stand on the
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: issue of Arizona ESAs.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Number one,
- 0:09we support parents seizing complete control of their children's
- 0:13education by any
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: legal means necessary.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Number two,
- 0:18anyone who would knowingly or unknowingly deceive parents into
- 0:22signing away their
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: right to direct the upbringing of their children needs to be exposed and
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: prosecuted.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Number three,
- 0:29Anyone who comes in between parents and their offspring with
- 0:33the intent to do harm
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: to a child will answer to God.
- 0:53You're listening to the Myth of Education Podcast where we
- 0:56expose corruption in
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: K-12 schools,
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: advocate for student safety,
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: and defend parental rights.

- 1:21SPEAKER_00: Before we get into the broadcast,
- 1:23we have a disclaimer All views and opinions expressed by hosts

- 1:28own and do not reflect the views of any public or private
- 1:31person or entity All
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: rights are reserved
- 1:35When it comes to public education,
- 1:38Arizona is the gum on the bottom of America's shoe.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: We are consistently ranked number 49, number 50 of all the states.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: I've even seen Arizona ranked number 51 when DC is added to the list.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Not to mention,
- 1:54Arizona schools have a serious pedophile problem There's really
- 1:58no question as to
- 2:00why parents are using ESAs to remove their children from this
- 2:04dangerous system
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Those who love kids will fight to protect the scholarship program,
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: whether they use the funds or not And as for the rest,
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: well,
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: I feel like their demons are starting to manifest
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: There's definitely a battle going on right now for the mind,
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: the soul,
- 2:19and the body of every child that's enrolled in the public
- 2:22education system.
- 2:23And when we see parents taking control to remove their children
- 2:28from the situation,
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: that's when the powers that be want to swoop in with some sort of plan,
- 2:35with some sort of ballot initiative is what we're going to be
- 2:38talking about here.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: And I find it to be completely, totally disruptive.
- 2:44Whatever positive things you or your parents once believed
- 2:47about public schools,
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: it's no longer true.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Public school learning environments are not safe.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Your children are not being educated.
- 2:55They're being indoctrinated and radicalized by propaganda that
- 2:59teaches them to hate
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: you,
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: hate themselves,
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: hate American values.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: And now we're seeing kids protesting in the streets.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: This is all by design.
- 3:08Also,
- 3:09adults in the district are sexually harassing and abusing
- 3:12children.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: If you've been following the situation here in Peoria,
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: Arizona,
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: Peoria Unified board member Heather Rooks was publicly sat down,
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: removed from her board president leadership position,
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: for exercising her right as a mom,
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: as a taxpayer,
- 3:26as a resident to simply investigate the handling of two alleged
- 3:30sexual predators at
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Centennial High School.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: And what do we have?
- 3:34Two trashy,
- 3:35fake conservatives,
- 3:37Jeff Tobey and Rebecca Proudfit,
- 3:38join Melissa Ewing
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: to vote her out, which effectively silences the students.
- 3:44That's what we're angry about because the children are watching
- 3:46the adults and they
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: see someone comes forward who's just seeking the truth,
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: being retaliated against and punished.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: This is so ridiculous.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: The Myth of Education Podcast
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: is evil, evil for you to come between a child and their parent.
- 4:24Parents who care about their kids are going to be involved in
- 4:27their lives and
- 4:28they're going to be doing the best that they can to create a
- 4:32good life for their
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: kids.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: There's a very small percentage.
- 4:34I don't have that statistic for you right now because I don't
- 4:36think it's relevant
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: to this conversation.
- 4:38There is a small percentage of parents who may abuse their
- 4:41children,
- 4:41who neglect their children,
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: The Myth of Education Podcast
- 5:13The fact of the matter is,
- 5:14is that ESAs are actually helping to curb some of this issue.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: What I want to say,
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: and hear me out,
- 5:20what I don't like about the ESA program is that it is so
- 5:24volatile and that you're
- 5:25going to have activists coming from all these different
- 5:27directions and every
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: election cycle,
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: it's going to be a fight,
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: a fight,
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: a fight,
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: a fight.
- 5:33And I really hope this November that conservatives can gain
- 5:38more control over the
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: state because they need to do something about this situation.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: As I record this podcast,
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: and it'll be posted in a few days,
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: we're at the end of another school year.
- 5:49And what I want to encourage parents to do is to make plans to
- 5:52remove your children
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: from public schools.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: And I know you've heard that a thousand times,
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: and you'll probably hear it a thousand times more.
- 6:01And I realize that some people just really feel like they don't
- 6:04have any other option.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: But I'm going to call you out and I'm going to challenge you.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Look again.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: Look at your finances again.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: Look at your situation again.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Do you have family members that can help you take care of your children?
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Are you at odds with those family members?
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Reconcile.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: Pull your kids out of a system that is failing.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: I don't care if you have to sell your valuables.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Downsize.
- 6:29SPEAKER_00: Reprioritize your life.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: And dare I say, parents, you don't need to save for college.
- 6:35Use the money to secure the foundation of the life of your
- 6:39children today.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: If they are not thriving in a traditional education model,
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: whether it's public,
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: private,
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: or whatever,
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: look into,
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: in the West Valley,
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: we have West Meck.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: In the East Valley, they have EVIT.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Get your children into a trade program,
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: an apprenticeship,
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: something where they can work with their hands.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: Pay attention to who your child is,
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: what their mannerisms are,
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: what are their highest of interests,
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: and capitalize on that.
- 7:09We should not be trying to force every student through a system
- 7:13that basically is
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: holding some people back.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: So it's a new day.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: It's a new generation.
- 7:39And we're here to support the parents who are using ESAs to
- 7:42take control.
- 7:43And for the parents who have successfully removed their
- 7:46children from traditional
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: education systems,
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: you need to spread the word.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: You need to recruit more parents and you also need to recruit educators.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: There are good teachers.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: who are silent,
- 8:00who are probably in fear or just don't want to deal with issues
- 8:04that are in front
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: of them.
- 8:05There's a little bit of cowardice associated with that,
- 8:08but we can talk about that another time.
- 8:10But I think the parents in the state of Arizona are going to
- 8:13also have to be
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: creative about how to privatize education because some of the woke stuff,
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: it's coming into your private schools.
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: Some of the woke stuff is coming into your Montessori.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: There is a virus that
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: that is trickling through the education system.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: So you want to maximize your control.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: And another way to do that is to use some of your ESA funds.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: You and the parents in your neighborhood need to come together,
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: find the one or two teachers who are disgruntled,
- 8:41who are looking for another option and come together and
- 8:45privatize that education
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: experience for the educator and also for the child.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: I think it's a win-win situation.
- 8:55Now there are two ballot initiatives floating around that you
- 9:00need to decline to sign.
- 9:02I was very surprised to see the American Federation for
- 9:07Children trying to regulate
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: ESAs,
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: especially
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: especially since they are known to be a pro-school choice organization.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Love Your Schools, run by Jenny Clark, she's such a warrior for the ESAs.
- 9:20Her organization has put together a side-by-side comparison of
- 9:25the ballot measures
- 9:26I'm going to link everything for you in the show notes always
- 9:28faithful to do that
- 9:29y'all better be reading the things that we link below don't
- 9:32just listen to these
- 9:33podcasts and take our word for it we're making it easy for you
- 9:36by doing the
- 9:37research and providing the links all you have to do is just
- 9:39click it and take about
- 9:40three minutes to read the information so anyway there is a
- 9:43comparison chart here
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: that I'm going to read from
- 9:46There is a ballot measure sponsored by AFC and that one is
- 9:49entitled Arizona
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Reform and Accountability Act.
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: That's a mouthful.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: And then there's the Protect Education Act.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: The further left you go, the more effective they are with their measures.
- 10:02So that one is sponsored by the Arizona Education Association
- 10:05which is union
- 10:06garbage and then Save Our Schools Arizona which is also garbage
- 10:11I think they
- 10:12masquerade as a foundation They are really anti-parent So the
- 10:16first thing to note
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: is an income cap of $150,000
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: That's economic discrimination.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: $150K is not a whole lot in this economy that we live in.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: And it's not even a whole lot for a family of four with a mortgage.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: There's two car payments, there may be medical bills, etc.,
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: There could be any number of situations.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: And no offense,
- 10:40but I bet we all know at least one person who makes six figures
- 10:43and they're also in
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: six figures worth of debt.
- 10:46So why should children suffer when their parents may not have a
- 10:49handle on the finances?
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: I'm not passing judgment.
- 10:52I'm just making a case of why that income cap is irrelevant
- 10:56when it comes to educating children.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: We should want all children,
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: regardless of their economic background,
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: to have the best education possible.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: And as taxpayers, we support that.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: The next category is ESA unspent funds confiscation.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: The Protect Education Act
- 11:13Act wants to confiscate 100% of the funds that's remaining in
- 11:17the ESA account at
- 11:18the end of the school year and send 90% of those dollars to
- 11:23fund public schools.
- 11:25So the parents who do have wise spending habits and who don't
- 11:29use up their ESA funds
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: and they are trying to prepare for their child's future,
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: whatever that may look like,
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: you have the Protect Education Act.
- 11:38Those phonies are basically coming along and saying that if you
- 11:42don't spend all of
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: that money,
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: then it needs to go to public schools.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: So if
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: The Myth of Education Podcast mythofeducation
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: There's less than 2% of ESA purchases are unauthorized.
- 12:07These are purchases that I think the Arizona Department of
- 12:10Education has found were
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: made in good faith,
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: but the parents just didn't know any better.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: The whole thing about TV screens and diamond rings and
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: Lingerie.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: That sounds like a rap video.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: It seems like the claim of fraud that supposedly is happening is a lie.
- 12:25I think it's been a lie from the word go since every leftist
- 12:28has been screaming about it.
- 12:30What they're seeing happen is they decline and it's a healthy
- 12:34decline across the
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: state of parents removing their kids from public schools.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: That's messing with the funding.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: And so they're trying to make families suffer for that.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Now, the AFC sponsored bill, the ESA reform.
- 12:47When it comes to testing and accreditation requirements and
- 12:50eligible tests for
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: students,
- 12:52this is where the ESA reform and the Protect Education are both
- 12:57trying to offer
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: some sort of solution where there's no problem.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: They're basically saying students must be given an approved exam,
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: test scores,
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: and other data must be submitted to the ADE for regular reporting.
- 13:11the whole purpose of having a scholarship program like this is
- 13:16so that the parents
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: are in control it is not for the state to come in and to continue
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: to regulate red tape and otherwise hinder parents.
- 13:27Both the ESA Reform Act and the Protect Education Act have
- 13:32curriculum requirements
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: that they want to place on parents.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: They both have a prohibition on non-educational items.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: The funny thing about that
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: is that that prohibition that's already in place,
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: it's already in place that you have to provide receipts,
- 13:49which is why it's such a joke that people are lying on parents
- 13:52about buying
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: lingerie and rings and TVs.
- 13:54They both claim to limit government agency control or eliminate
- 14:01existing state
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: protections against frivolous regulations and
- 14:04They're opening the ESA program up to these regulations by
- 14:07coming in with these
- 14:08ballot measures I'm under the impression that the program is
- 14:12running fine I guess
- 14:13that's what the problem is It's so successful that you have
- 14:17people trying to make a
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: power grab and they're stepping on parents' toes Again,
- 14:21I will link this information for you in the show notes so that
- 14:24you can draw your
- 14:26own conclusions The problem that we have with public schools is
- 14:29that the government
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: is too big
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: The administration is too big.
- 14:35SPEAKER_00: They are permeating every part of K-12 families' lives.
- 14:41They are trying to interject in every way possible,
- 14:46offering the kids free meals at the school.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: And I know that a lot of people find that to be a good thing,
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: but there's just a measure of control that the government has.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: My hope is that parents who are so heavily dependent
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: on the government.
- 15:01They are working to come together with other parents in their
- 15:04community and finding
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: ways to push the government out.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Push the government out.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Every dime that you have,
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: every penny that you have,
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: which may not be much,
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: just work towards removing your child
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: from the system as soon as possible.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Maybe you don't have to put them in at all.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Maybe it takes you until fourth grade to get them out.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe by the time they reach high school,
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: if there needs to be some sort of transition,
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: like I said,
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: maybe they can graduate early or take up a trade.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: Not every child needs a college education.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Hear me now.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: A lot of it is a waste of money.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: It's a waste of time.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I mean,
- 15:42you can do the research yourself to find out how many people
- 15:45will go spend 40,
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: 60,
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: 80 years
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: The Myth of Education
- 16:05They will be able to take care of their own college fund They
- 16:09can get a job because
- 16:10they'll be able to read Think about that Make sure that they
- 16:13can read and write and
- 16:15do math And that they excel at whatever they're naturally good
- 16:18at If they want to
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: be an electrician,
- 16:20a welder There is absolutely nothing wrong with those things
- 16:23Those are very
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: lucrative careers All of those things are valid
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: You can encourage your kid to be entrepreneurs.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: I mean, the sky's the limit.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: We're capitalists here, right?
- 16:33And so we should have necessarily an education system that
- 16:37supports a capitalist society.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: We are not socialists,
- 16:41and therefore we do not all need to go through the same system
- 16:44of education and all
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: come out equally dumb and controlled by our government.
- 16:48The path that you want your child to be on is the path that God
- 16:51is going to set them on.
- 16:53I'm going to link for you also an article in the show notes
- 16:56from AZ Free News.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: And there are three videos in this article that you need to watch.
- 17:06It's parents who have caught on to the nonsense from the
- 17:10anti-ESA activists.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: And it's so crazy.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: In all three videos,
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: the parents are asking,
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: these are the most simplest questions you will ever hear someone ask.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Well, what is this about?
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: We already have ESAs.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Parents are benefiting from them.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Children are already benefiting from them.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: So what am I signing this for?
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: They couldn't even answer that question.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's just to get it on the ballot.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: For
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: The Myth of Education Podcast
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you man,
- 18:00there's some diabolical people in the state of Arizona who take
- 18:03the parents as
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: fools.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: They're playing with the lives of these babies.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: We can't stand for this.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: We need everybody to be vigilant.
- 18:11I don't care if you are in your 60s and you've been a business
- 18:13owner for the last
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: 20 years,
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: your kids are
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: This is where community comes into play.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: I know right now that a lot of churches are looking whack.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: We could talk about that in another episode.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: But if you can find a good house of God with decent ministers,
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: I know it's slim pickings and there's a lot being exposed about that.
- 19:00But do some research,
- 19:01find a community of believers who would be willing to help you.
- 19:06I just refuse to believe we refuse to believe here at the Myth
- 19:10of Education Podcast
- 19:11that you have to depend on the government that it's a need in
- 19:14your life it's not
- 19:16you've been lied to it's just convenient it's like fast food
- 19:20right it's convenient
- 19:22and it's cheap but you know what else is true about fast food
- 19:25it leaves you fat fat
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: and malnourished and at risk for all sorts of diseases.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: Well, it's the same with public schools.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: It leaves you fat, malnourished, and at risk for all sorts of trauma.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Now,
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: I know I have rambled a little bit for the last 20 minutes,
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: and so let me just reiterate something.
- 19:45If you see anybody walking around with a friendly smile looking
- 19:50clueless,
- 19:51they have a clipboard
- 19:53and a pen and they're asking you to sign to get this ESA thing
- 19:57on the ballot and
- 19:58they can't answer a simple question of why it needs to be put
- 20:01on the ballot.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: Just don't sign.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Don't sign.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Don't sign.
- 20:05I'm actually going to leave in the show notes for you a link to
- 20:08the website that
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: Love Your Schools put together where you can sign to decline to sign.
- 20:14You can also withdraw your name if you've signed already to put
- 20:17that on the ballot.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: We don't want
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: We don't want regulation.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: We don't want red tape.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: We don't want a stumbling block in front of parents.
- 20:27We want them to be free to explore whatever learning
- 20:30environment is going to be
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: best for their child.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: And for some people, it may be public schools.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: I tell you what,
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: if you're a helicopter parent,
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: like my co-host Dan,
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: he couldn't make this episode,
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: but if you're a helicopter parent like that,
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: where you're going to read the sex ed curriculum and
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: where you're going to show up to the PTA conferences,
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: you're going to show up to board meetings,
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: you're not just showing up for sporting events,
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: but you're involved,
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: then maybe public schools might be a good fit for you,
- 20:56but it's not a good place for parents who have minimal
- 21:01oversight of what's going on
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: with their kids.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: I know sometimes you need a break,
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: you've got a couple of jobs,
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: and you just need to be able to drop your kids off somewhere.
- 21:09Well,
- 21:09I'm telling you that they would be safer walking down the
- 21:14middle of I-10
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: during rush hour traffic than what they are in public schools.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: But I want to wrap this up by saying, God gave children to their parents.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: Proverbs 22, 6, you know it, we quote it here all the time.
- 21:29Train up a child in the way they should go,
- 21:31and when they are old,
- 21:32they won't depart from it.
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: There is no scriptural mandate.
- 21:37And I'm talking to Christians who have their kids in public
- 21:40schools or you're not
- 21:42paying attention or lifting a finger to do a whole lot to
- 21:44remove your kids from the
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: situation.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: This is your responsibility to protect your child.
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: You have to know.
- 21:51SPEAKER_00: What kind of environment that you're allowing them to go into.
- 21:55There's nothing in the passage of Proverbs 22.6 or anywhere
- 21:59else that says that you
- 22:00should be allowing the government to impress upon your children
- 22:03their moral system,
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: their belief and value system,
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: or educating them,
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: period.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: It's your responsibility.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: And as I said before,
- 22:12We have children in public schools who are being sexually
- 22:15harassed and assaulted.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: It's only a matter of time before it's your child.
- 22:19I don't mean to be a fear monger just to sound the alarm that
- 22:23this is a real situation.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: There are real cover-ups that are happening.
- 22:26Children really are being victimized to the tune of almost 6
- 22:30million kids a year.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: By the time they graduate high school, we'll have been
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: The Myth of Education Podcast
- 22:55to care about your children like you do and so what I'm saying
- 22:58to you is that if
- 22:59something does happen to your child on school grounds heaven
- 23:02forbid parents you're
- 23:04going to have to shoulder that you're going to share in some of
- 23:07that trauma and I
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: do believe that God will hold you
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: You have to start
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: But the point of this podcast has been
- 23:50An encouragement for parents to continue to take control of the
- 23:54situation.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: These are your kids.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: Nobody has a right to your child's mind.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: Nobody has a right to your child's body.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: Period.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: Push back.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: It's on you.
