- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's Adam here and in. This episode of The Hypnotist,
- 0:44you'll be listening to a deep sleep hypnosis session that was
- 0:49created for a client that had extreme levels of hypervigilance
- 0:55and anxiety. They were constantly on edge and
- 1:00that meant. That they.
- 1:01Had real difficulty getting a good night's sleep.
- 1:05They would. Quite often.
- 1:06Rely on sleep medication to kind of zonk them out and even.
- 1:12Then. Wouldn't necessarily.
- 1:14Give them proper Restful. Sleep because good quality sleep
- 1:20isn't through sedation, it's through natural sleep and
- 1:25relaxation. So there is.
- 1:28A. Lot going on in this session,
- 1:31but at its core it's down to. An element of.
- 1:35Soothing and slowing down all of the reactions linked to the
- 1:42sympathetic nervous system so that that kind of element that
- 1:48knows how to just relax does that.
- 1:51It has post hypnotic suggestions to say that the relaxation
- 1:56continues throughout the sleep and a post hypnotic suggestion
- 2:02that they will notice improvements as they wake.
- 2:05So if you tend to be quite an anxious person or tend to feel
- 2:10quite stressed or have restless sleep, sleep, I think you'll
- 2:13benefit from this. The ideal way to listen to this
- 2:17one. And most of my hypnosis sessions
- 2:21aren't designed to go to sleep to.
- 2:22They're designed to kind of listen.
- 2:24And then they have what we call an awakening at the end.
- 2:29This one doesn't. This one won't have the music at
- 2:33the end and it continues. With Theta.
- 2:36Wave music for around about 15 minutes after the talking
- 2:39finishes. So it's an ideal session if
- 2:43you're stressed or anxious and you want to listen to it while
- 2:46you're going to sleep. In which case the ideal place to
- 2:50listen to this is wherever you're about to go to sleep,
- 2:52which for most people is probably going to be a bed.
- 2:55So ideally you want to get everything ready so you don't
- 2:59need to get up again, go to the toilet beforehand, have the
- 3:02lights dimmed or completely off, have it playing so that when it
- 3:07finishes, that's it. It's not going to play another
- 3:09track so that you can listen to this and fall asleep while
- 3:13listening to it. The actual awakening for this is
- 3:16to say when you awake the following morning.
- 3:20So that's how best to listen to it.
- 3:23So find a nice quiet. Comfortable place ideally.
- 3:26Your bed Get everything ready before you listen and enjoy the
- 3:31session and enjoy a lovely relaxing night's sleep.
- 4:04Take. A long.
- 4:07Slow, deep. Breath, and as you breathe in,
- 4:16breathe in a wonderful feeling of calm.
- 4:21And as you exhale, allow your eyelids to just relax.
- 4:37I want you to find a place where you would feel comfortable if
- 4:41you were to drift off into a deep sleep.
- 4:45Perhaps your bed, feeling your head on your pillow, and just
- 4:51position your body in the kind of position that you can relax
- 4:57now and drift off to sleep shortly.
- 5:06Find that most comfortable position, allowing your body to
- 5:14find its most restful and natural.
- 5:18State. A state where nothing else needs
- 5:25your attention. And as you gently close any
- 5:35thoughts of negativity or stress, allowing the tension in
- 5:41your forehead and around your eyes to just relax even more,
- 5:48you begin to notice the natural rhythm of your breathing.
- 5:56Without any need to change it, simply observe the rise and fall
- 6:04of each breath as it moves in and exhales out.
- 6:16And with your next inhale, I wonder if you can imagine a cool
- 6:24white light entering your body, A soothing, calming light of.
- 6:32Relaxation. Feel it as a gentle wave,
- 6:40refreshing and calming, breathing in deeply.
- 6:52As. Though this light is filling
- 6:54every part of you, from the tips of your toes to the very top of
- 7:01your head, and as you exhale, imagine releasing breath by
- 7:13breath, tension, any stress, any worry, any weight or thoughts
- 7:26from the day. Just feel them effortlessly
- 7:34flowing out in that exhale. Each out breath carries away
- 7:44what you no longer need, leaving space for more calm, more ease,
- 7:53and more peace. And I want you to scan your body
- 8:04for where you feel clues of anxiety or tension or stress.
- 8:10And as you breathe in that cool white light, just notice it's
- 8:22softening and loosening every muscle, every part of your body.
- 8:32Feel it gently relaxing your forehead, your eyes, your jaw,
- 8:39releasing any tightness that might be.
- 8:41There and. With your next breath, feel your
- 8:51shoulders soften, Feel your body relaxing, as if
- 9:13those muscles have tension that's just melting away into
- 9:17the surface beneath you as your arms become heavy, loose and
- 9:24relaxed. Breathing in and breathing out.
- 9:35And as you exhale, just allow even more tension or anxiety
- 9:41leave your chest. Feel it leaving your stomach,
- 9:49your lower back. With every outward breath you're
- 9:54releasing, releasing tension, releasing anxiety, releasing any
- 10:02worries, just feel them drift further and further away, like a
- 10:14mist disappearing into the distance.
- 10:17Just feel it disappear and allow that bright, soothing light to
- 10:26flow down through your legs, now your thighs, your calves, and
- 10:33all the way to the soles of your feet.
- 10:37Every breath in invites even more relaxation, and every
- 10:43breath out releases even more tension.
- 10:56As you continue this gentle rhythm, notice how your body
- 11:01feels lighter, your mind feels quieter every breath.
- 11:09You take. Is now a part of your.
- 11:13Healing every. Inhale brings in that soothing
- 11:24light, calming your mind and body, and every exhale releases
- 11:33incremental anxiety, releasing fear, releasing anything that no
- 11:43longer serves you. It's almost as though the air
- 11:52itself is helping you to restore balance, inviting a deeper sense
- 11:58of ease with each passing moment.
- 12:14And as you drift deeper into this relaxation, notice how this
- 12:19calm begins to carry you like a soft, gentle current.
- 12:44There's nothing you need to do, nothing you need to think about.
- 12:49Each breath is your guide, gently leading you into a
- 12:54peaceful, relaxing sleep. And as you sleep tonight, your
- 13:10body will continue this natural process, breathing in calm
- 13:17serenity and balance, and exhaling any tension, any
- 13:25remaining worry, allowing it to just float far away.
- 13:42Each breath will work silently, effortlessly, helping your mind
- 13:50to restore, helping your body to heal.
- 13:58You'll wake up in the morning refreshed, renewed, and you'll
- 14:03notice that there is less anxiety than the day before.
- 14:09It's simply lighter, smaller fading with each restful night.
- 14:22Breathe in that healing white light.
- 14:24Exhale any remaining tension and anxiety.
- 14:30And now your body becomes heavier and your mind becomes
- 14:36quieter, and maybe sooner or later, you'll find yourself
- 14:45slipping into a soothing, restful sleep.
- 14:51And there is no rush, there is no effort, just the natural
- 14:59gentle rhythm of your breath carrying you deeper and deeper.
- 15:21And when the time is right, just allow sleep to take you to that
- 15:27dreamlike place easily, naturally, deeply.
- 15:39And when it's time to wake up in the morning, don't be surprised
- 15:44if you feel rested, calm, and ready for the day ahead.
- 15:54So continue to breathe in and breathe out.
- 15:56Find that rhythm and allow the sound of the music to take you
- 16:03into the deepest sleep, the most rejuvenating sleep, the most
- 16:10relaxing sleep you've had in a long time.
