- 0:31Speaker 2: Hello everybody, and welcome to the She Rises Podcast. I
- 0:36Speaker 2: am so excited to be here today with my bran
- 0:40Speaker 2: new co host, Tiana. Welcome. Hi, so good to be here,
- 0:44Speaker 2: Oh so exciting. Tiana Vandelo is one of my beautiful girlfriends.
- 0:48Speaker 2: She's twenty six years old. She's a life coach and
- 0:51Speaker 2: her mission and passion is to help women know their
- 0:54Speaker 2: self worth and be the biggest, boldest version of themselves.
- 0:58Speaker 3: It's such an exciting journey and it's just like such
- 1:00Speaker 3: an honor to be here, and I'm so excited to
- 1:02Speaker 3: showcase just a little bit more about us and our friendship,
- 1:05Speaker 3: the journey of She Rises and bringing all of you
- 1:07Speaker 3: along with us.
- 1:08Speaker 2: How are you actually feeling right? Because you're quite nervous.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I was, I I'm like my heart is beating out
- 1:13Speaker 1: of my chest.
- 1:15Speaker 3: It's so exciting doing something brand new for the first
- 1:18Speaker 3: time where you feel fear like fearful of doing something new,
- 1:22Speaker 3: stepping out of your comfort zone and pushing the edge
- 1:26Speaker 3: of what you actually feel comfortable to do.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And this is one of those things for me.
- 1:29Speaker 3: So I'm excited to be here with you guys and
- 1:31Speaker 3: on this journey and to just show you a little
- 1:34Speaker 3: bit along the way of like what it looks like
- 1:36Speaker 3: for you to be able to do those things as well.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Before we get started in today's episode, we've got our
- 1:40Speaker 2: first Share of the Week of twenty and twenty five.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I feel so weird to say exciting. Do you want
- 1:46Speaker 2: to go first watch a show?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Absolutely?
- 1:47Speaker 3: So my Share of the Week is more about like
- 1:50Speaker 3: a perspective shift than anything. There was something that I
- 1:53Speaker 3: shared years and years ago.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I can't even remember who.
- 1:55Speaker 3: I wish I knew who so I could quote them,
- 1:57Speaker 3: but it was like, you don't have to, you choose to.
- 2:01Speaker 3: And what I love about this and why it's been
- 2:03Speaker 3: so beneficial for me is because a lot of the
- 2:07Speaker 3: times there have been points in my life where I
- 2:09Speaker 3: feel like I'm forced to do something, you know, say
- 2:12Speaker 3: it's like even building a business or doing something in
- 2:15Speaker 3: a relationship or whatever it is in my life where
- 2:18Speaker 3: I've almost felt like I was forced to do it.
- 2:20Speaker 3: It was like I didn't have any choice in the matter,
- 2:23Speaker 3: and I remember thinking like, fuck, I feel so victimized
- 2:25Speaker 3: while my life right now, like why does it feel
- 2:27Speaker 3: like I have to do this where there's no other option,
- 2:30Speaker 3: And that perspective shift of you don't have to, you
- 2:33Speaker 3: choose to, and that for some reason it just really
- 2:37Speaker 3: really landed for me. The other part around it, which
- 2:39Speaker 3: I now teach my clients is like if you didn't
- 2:42Speaker 3: do the thing that you wanted and that you say
- 2:44Speaker 3: that you're forced to do, like, no one would be
- 2:46Speaker 3: mad at you. For an example, for me with my business,
- 2:50Speaker 3: I used to say to myself like, if I didn't
- 2:51Speaker 3: want to do this anymore, no one would be mad
- 2:53Speaker 3: at me. No one's forcing me to do it, no
- 2:55Speaker 3: one's forcing me to show up. But it's because I
- 2:58Speaker 3: want more for myself that I want.
- 2:59Speaker 2: To do something like yes.
- 3:01Speaker 3: And it was just that mindset shift of reframing from
- 3:04Speaker 3: feeling a little bit like a victim of circumstance to
- 3:07Speaker 3: wait a minute, you're in control. Here and that just
- 3:10Speaker 3: like completely changed the game for me. So I hope
- 3:12Speaker 3: it helps anyone who's listening, just even the slightest bit
- 3:15Speaker 3: to just remind yourself that whatever you feel forced to
- 3:17Speaker 3: do right now, like you actually get to be in
- 3:19Speaker 3: control of because you have so much choice in this
- 3:22Speaker 3: same take your power back.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I do love that my share of the week's very,
- 3:26Speaker 2: very random and not inspiring. But I'm obsessed with raw
- 3:29Speaker 2: honey at the moment. Oh, I love that. I know
- 3:32Speaker 2: putting on don't knock at you. Try it on your
- 3:34Speaker 2: steak or on your eggs. I know it sounds weird,
- 3:38Speaker 2: it is freaking delicious. So I've started eating more of
- 3:41Speaker 2: like an animal based diet, which I did a whole
- 3:44Speaker 2: podcast episode on in the Twelve Days Christmas, So if
- 3:46Speaker 2: you haven't listened to that, go back and listen to it.
- 3:48Speaker 2: But it's like mostly meat and red meat. It's a
- 3:51Speaker 2: lot of fruit, not as much vegetables, eggs, organs, which
- 3:55Speaker 2: I don't eat organs. I take supplements on organs.
- 3:57Speaker 1: We love it.
- 3:58Speaker 2: A lot of broth, oh, and raw honey. So Steve
- 4:01Speaker 2: put on his steak one day and he was like,
- 4:02Speaker 2: holy because we watched this guy on YouTube. We've been
- 4:04Speaker 2: learning from him and he puts it on everything and
- 4:06Speaker 2: I was like, Honey, on at steak, that's weird. Tried
- 4:09Speaker 2: it and I was like, that's so delicious, and then
- 4:11Speaker 2: on eggs it's so yummy. That's wild.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I imagine the combination.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I know you're gonna have to show me.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Honey is amazing for you if you get the good
- 4:19Speaker 2: raw quality like honey that's not being processed or heated
- 4:22Speaker 2: up or anything. But yeah, give it a go, just
- 4:24Speaker 2: a random recommendation that you can't knock until you try.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So today's episode just to give you in a nutshell
- 4:30Speaker 2: as to what we're going to be talking about, is
- 4:31Speaker 2: obviously for you guys to get to know Tiana a
- 4:33Speaker 2: little bit more as you will three times a week
- 4:36Speaker 2: for this whole year and beyond. But when we talk
- 4:38Speaker 2: about what we've got planned for the podcast as well,
- 4:41Speaker 2: because there's so many cool things that we as soon
- 4:43Speaker 2: as we got together and decided to do this together,
- 4:45Speaker 2: we were like, we can do this, we can do this,
- 4:47Speaker 2: voice want to do this? What about this? And we
- 4:49Speaker 2: just have gone on a rampage, but in the best
- 4:51Speaker 2: way possible. So, yeah, there's gonna be lots of episodes
- 4:55Speaker 2: where you are being really vulnerable, sharing a lot of
- 4:57Speaker 2: your story. And I think that's the edge for you,
- 5:00Speaker 2: is you on social media have kind of just put
- 5:03Speaker 2: out Tiana the Coach. Yeah, and if you go onto
- 5:05Speaker 2: Tianna's page, it's all these incredible, incredibly valuable clips, but
- 5:10Speaker 2: they are Tianna the Coach. They don't really get to
- 5:11Speaker 2: see who you really are as a person, and you know,
- 5:16Speaker 2: as one of your closest friends now, Like she's super
- 5:18Speaker 2: sassy and spicy and essensual and fun and playful, but
- 5:23Speaker 2: you've also got this level of depth that is just
- 5:25Speaker 2: so incredible and beautiful. And I've seen you at your
- 5:28Speaker 2: most vulnerable states and of what she navigates some really
- 5:31Speaker 2: tricky things the last six months, and you shared stories
- 5:33Speaker 2: of which I know you're going to share on the podcast,
- 5:35Speaker 2: but I know that feels quite scary, and even now,
- 5:37Speaker 2: like I've been sharing my life for fifteen years on
- 5:39Speaker 2: social media, and there's times when I step into the
- 5:42Speaker 2: studio that I know I'm going to be really open,
- 5:45Speaker 2: but I feel the fear and I do it anyway.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And I think the more that you do it, and
- 5:49Speaker 2: the more you allow yourself to be seen, the more
- 5:51Speaker 2: comfortable you get with it.
- 5:52Speaker 3: It has been such a huge thing for me because
- 5:55Speaker 3: I've you know, grown up having like this fear of
- 5:58Speaker 3: being seen and I wanted to put myself in the
- 6:00Speaker 3: spotlight or do these things that would push outside of
- 6:02Speaker 3: my comfort zone, but not realizing that those things actually
- 6:05Speaker 3: bring the confidence that you actually really want. And so,
- 6:07Speaker 3: like what you were mentioning on social media, I'm coach Tiana.
- 6:10Speaker 3: That's who I am on social media, but it's only
- 6:13Speaker 3: one small percentage of who I actually am as a human.
- 6:15Speaker 3: And it's like within our friendship and with our dynamic,
- 6:18Speaker 3: I get to be all of those things.
- 6:20Speaker 1: And like that's the conversation we've.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Been having around bringing that into the podcast, getting people
- 6:25Speaker 3: to see parts of myself that feel a little bit
- 6:28Speaker 3: edgy to see, or really just seeing the authentic, non
- 6:31Speaker 3: curated version of myself that is so easy to do
- 6:34Speaker 3: on social media, you know, because we just care so
- 6:36Speaker 3: much about what people think, And what a beautiful opportunity
- 6:39Speaker 3: for us to showcase all of our mess and all
- 6:41Speaker 3: of that, like my authenticity and our authenticity together as
- 6:45Speaker 3: a friendship.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's really cool, Like I love listening to
- 6:47Speaker 2: coaches and you know, motivational speakers, but the people that
- 6:51Speaker 2: I learn the most from, it's just them being their
- 6:53Speaker 2: authentic selves. We all have struggles and hurdles and cards
- 6:57Speaker 2: that get dealt that we're like, what the fuck, that's
- 6:59Speaker 2: not fair.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I don't want to go through that. Why me?
- 7:03Speaker 2: You have your little pity party, but you know we
- 7:05Speaker 2: want to help you. Guys get resented again, make a
- 7:08Speaker 2: line decisions, be your authentic self, be your biggest version
- 7:11Speaker 2: of yourself, like your biggest, boldest version.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Of yourself, and permission to be your biggest and bolder self,
- 7:16Speaker 3: like not fearing like I want to be a different
- 7:18Speaker 3: version of myself where I want to grow, but I
- 7:20Speaker 3: don't know how to get there or will I be
- 7:22Speaker 3: judged or ridiculed for wanting to be more than I
- 7:24Speaker 3: am right now? And like having the tools and not
- 7:27Speaker 3: just personal development tools that you read in books and
- 7:30Speaker 3: don't actually implement.
- 7:31Speaker 1: It's like the stuff that you know in those.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Hardships you're talking about, how are you actually behaving.
- 7:36Speaker 1: In those moments?
- 7:37Speaker 3: And like for us both, I think we resonate with
- 7:39Speaker 3: each other a lot because we both navigate those hardships
- 7:43Speaker 3: in a similar way. In our own way, but in
- 7:45Speaker 3: a beautiful way, and we can bring that strength together
- 7:48Speaker 3: and go, hey, like this is what I learned from
- 7:50Speaker 3: this or this was my responsibility and like really learning
- 7:53Speaker 3: to like take control and responsibility of your life and
- 7:56Speaker 3: your outcome and like, yeah, not having to fall into
- 7:59Speaker 3: that victim mindset of like life is happening to me,
- 8:01Speaker 3: but it's having for me. And that's like the whole
- 8:03Speaker 3: concept of like rises is like let's go on this
- 8:07Speaker 3: journey of like what we can do together, how we
- 8:09Speaker 3: can grow together. You know with my coaching business and stuff,
- 8:12Speaker 3: I'm so used to being coach Tiana and I'm just
- 8:15Speaker 3: so ready to be just Tiana, you know, and just
- 8:17Speaker 3: like enjoy, play, learn, grow and rise.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Yes, And I love coach Tiana. Like your content you're
- 8:25Speaker 2: put out like I'm forever just like, oh my gosh,
- 8:27Speaker 2: she wrote that for me. You know she's reading that
- 8:29Speaker 2: to me. You haven't not all about me, but I
- 8:33Speaker 2: resonate with it hard, and I'm like I love that.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Even when we were talking about like your content changing
- 8:36Speaker 2: on your social media, like don't get rid of what
- 8:38Speaker 2: you're doing, it's amazing, But behind your social media, like
- 8:43Speaker 2: there's so many beautiful elements of you that I feel
- 8:46Speaker 2: like the world doesn't get to see yet, and that's
- 8:48Speaker 2: why I'm really excited for you to start to share that.
- 8:50Speaker 2: So bear with that. She's nervous and like, this is
- 8:53Speaker 2: new for you, and I still get scared because when
- 8:55Speaker 2: you are your authentic self, you trigger people. When you're honest,
- 8:59Speaker 2: you are vulnerable, and you're opening up people to come
- 9:04Speaker 2: at you with their project and their opinions and their criticisms,
- 9:07Speaker 2: and it's really hard to hold sometimes. Fifteen years of
- 9:10Speaker 2: doing this and I still have moments where I'm like,
- 9:13Speaker 2: this is a lot to hold, Yeah, But in the
- 9:15Speaker 2: same breath, like it's really strengthened my character and it's
- 9:18Speaker 2: really strengthened who I am, and I'm really proud of
- 9:21Speaker 2: how I've been able to navigate typical situations. I wouldn't
- 9:25Speaker 2: be who I am if I didn't experience all of that.
- 9:27Speaker 2: So even throughout this journey, like you know, there probably
- 9:30Speaker 2: will be times people judge or criticize or assume things
- 9:34Speaker 2: about you. But we're not here to sugarcoat things. We
- 9:36Speaker 2: may ruffle a few feathers. Yeah, that's okay. Being triggered
- 9:39Speaker 2: as a bad thing We've got so much to learn together,
- 9:42Speaker 2: and every time we are together we learn so much
- 9:44Speaker 2: we do.
- 9:45Speaker 3: So it's really cool and it's beautiful as well because
- 9:47Speaker 3: it's now this new journey of like she rises, it's
- 9:50Speaker 3: a whole new level for you as well.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It's like a deep level of exploration.
- 9:54Speaker 3: For you, and you know, exploring things in a way
- 9:57Speaker 3: that you haven't before as well.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You know, there's so many stories that you would have
- 10:00Speaker 1: shared on.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Myst before now for you even like let's take this
- 10:04Speaker 3: to a deeper level for us, for you, for like
- 10:07Speaker 3: all of you women listening and yeah, coming along for
- 10:10Speaker 3: the journey.
- 10:11Speaker 2: It's really cool because in the short time that we
- 10:14Speaker 2: have been friends, like I feel I've been friends for
- 10:16Speaker 2: a lifetime, but like for years, there's been things that
- 10:18Speaker 2: I've carried shame around that When I met you and
- 10:22Speaker 2: we started to have these deeper conversations, not only was
- 10:24Speaker 2: there like relatability, I feel like that too, but like
- 10:28Speaker 2: I saw the way you loved me for those things,
- 10:31Speaker 2: and it's really helped me love me for those things.
- 10:34Speaker 2: And I can't wait to talk about all of that
- 10:36Speaker 2: because the things that we've carried shame for, or that
- 10:38Speaker 2: we've done or whatever. We've been able to bring play
- 10:42Speaker 2: to it and make it really fun and make it
- 10:44Speaker 2: really light, and even at dinner for my birthday last December,
- 10:47Speaker 2: which is not that long ago, it's tenery now, we
- 10:52Speaker 2: were sharing this with our girlfriend Beth about different ways
- 10:56Speaker 2: we've brought play into things that we've held shame around,
- 10:58Speaker 2: and she was like, holy fuck, that's game changing. And
- 11:01Speaker 2: we've both had conversations with her since it's been really beautiful.
- 11:03Speaker 2: So I don't even know if this makes sense, but
- 11:05Speaker 2: there's lots to come. We have so many cool episodes.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Every single episode you will walk away with something that
- 11:12Speaker 2: is so valuable that you can implement your life, that
- 11:15Speaker 2: can change the way that you see things all the
- 11:17Speaker 2: way that you do things. And then we also have
- 11:20Speaker 2: a really different thing coming on a Friday. Yep. Last year,
- 11:23Speaker 2: if you've been following the podcast for a while, our
- 11:26Speaker 2: producer Katie would cut up an old episode, like a
- 11:28Speaker 2: little bite sized chunk of a previous episode. But this
- 11:31Speaker 2: year we'll bring a whole third episode in and it's themed.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Let's announce what it's called. Drum roll, So a Friday
- 11:39Speaker 2: episode is called Freaky Fridays, and we're so excited for it.
- 11:45Speaker 3: So it's a whole different feel to probably what you've
- 11:48Speaker 3: experienced before. And it also just encapsulates a little bit
- 11:51Speaker 3: more of like Ash's and eye, like the parts of
- 11:55Speaker 3: ourselves that we experience when we're together that you know,
- 11:58Speaker 3: you might carry a lot of shame around, like you mentioned,
- 12:00Speaker 3: but it's just like bringing that playful, bringing that like
- 12:03Speaker 3: fierce bold filter energy.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Yeah, just like Braddy energy without giving too much a way.
- 12:09Speaker 2: That's quite juicy. Yeah, it's just stuff that like I
- 12:12Speaker 2: feel like you probably talk about with your close girlfriends
- 12:14Speaker 2: but you would never talk about publicly.
- 12:16Speaker 3: But things that you think that you know, you have
- 12:18Speaker 3: that conversation with yourself and you're like, I have to
- 12:20Speaker 3: take this.
- 12:21Speaker 1: To the grave.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Ye, there's no way that anyone would love except like
- 12:26Speaker 3: support me in this, like all of the things that
- 12:28Speaker 3: feel so far out of touch, almost out of like
- 12:31Speaker 3: what's socially accepted.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yeah, to be like this is the edge.
- 12:35Speaker 2: In a nutshell. We wanted to do an episode each
- 12:38Speaker 2: week that you have really bought that playfulness in, and
- 12:41Speaker 2: we wanted to bring in conversations. I don't like the
- 12:43Speaker 2: word gossip, not gossip, not tea, but it's a little
- 12:47Speaker 2: bit of drama. It's a little bit, it's spicy, it's sexy,
- 12:50Speaker 2: it's like, oh did that happen to that person? And
- 12:54Speaker 2: this isn't just about us, we're actually getting you guys,
- 12:56Speaker 2: which we've had so many like people write in already
- 12:59Speaker 2: completely anonymous, like we can't even see who's written in right,
- 13:02Speaker 2: in stories, situation secrets, like just almost like fucked up
- 13:09Speaker 2: stuff that we're just like, oh my god, we're going
- 13:11Speaker 2: to be sharing them and reading them out and then
- 13:13Speaker 2: chatting about it.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Yeah, this is the kind of stuff that you read
- 13:16Speaker 3: your smart books about, right This is the kind of
- 13:18Speaker 3: stuff that you know, you watch your TV show for
- 13:21Speaker 3: because you get that that little hit of drama that
- 13:23Speaker 3: you don't have in your life right now. It's like
- 13:25Speaker 3: those moments that are like secretive and things that you
- 13:28Speaker 3: do on your own and like things that you know
- 13:30Speaker 3: you don't want to share with your friends, but you
- 13:31Speaker 3: know you book because they hold you there. But you know,
- 13:34Speaker 3: stuff you probably wouldn't tell your parents.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the situations that will give our best the advice on.
- 13:40Speaker 2: There's creepy ghost stories. There's like sexual encounters, there's like threesomes,
- 13:46Speaker 2: there's stuff you guys, have written in is so juicy
- 13:49Speaker 2: and so fun edgy, and we love it very very
- 13:51Speaker 2: edgy and like even like we'll give like what would
- 13:54Speaker 2: you do in that situation?
- 13:55Speaker 1: You know?
- 13:55Speaker 3: Or like have we had experiences like that? Have we
- 13:58Speaker 3: been in that position before? And a huge part of
- 14:01Speaker 3: why we wanted to do it was because we love
- 14:03Speaker 3: personal development, but it's not all of who we are,
- 14:06Speaker 3: right and it's not just the only thing that exists
- 14:09Speaker 3: within us, and we wanted to have and bring in
- 14:12Speaker 3: like more duality of personal development, yes, everyday life, humanness.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Acceptance, acceptance.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like you're not just one way.
- 14:19Speaker 3: You're not just the girl who loves personal development or
- 14:22Speaker 3: who's kind and nice and thoughtful at all.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Of these things, or the good mom or the good mom. Yeah,
- 14:26Speaker 1: you're like spicy.
- 14:28Speaker 3: And you're saucy and your sensual and you have this
- 14:31Speaker 3: alter ego aside to you that is a part of
- 14:34Speaker 3: you know who you actually are, and a.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Lot of darkness too, which darkness, I feel like people
- 14:38Speaker 2: can think is negative, but we all have dark and
- 14:40Speaker 2: light within us, but a lot of us shame a
- 14:42Speaker 2: lot about dark side. So we're bringing all of that,
- 14:45Speaker 2: which is very edgy for us as well, because I
- 14:48Speaker 2: think the episodes are definitely gonna be like jaw dropping
- 14:51Speaker 2: and like, oh my god, did they just talk about that? Yeah,
- 14:53Speaker 2: they just say that. But like we're going to be
- 14:56Speaker 2: really raw. This is us, Like you said, we're multifaceted. Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 2: we're not just a self developed girl. We're not just
- 15:00Speaker 2: out of the coach. We're not just actually the mum
- 15:02Speaker 2: or the fitness girl. There's so many hats we wear,
- 15:05Speaker 2: so many parts of our personality that we love to
- 15:07Speaker 2: explore and talk about without shame. Yeah, like there's no shame,
- 15:10Speaker 2: there's no judgment. It's not a place for it.
- 15:12Speaker 1: It's not the place for it.
- 15:13Speaker 3: No, And it's like, that's what allows you to step
- 15:15Speaker 3: into your most biggest and boldest version of yourself is
- 15:19Speaker 3: when you don't have judgment around different parts of yourself
- 15:23Speaker 3: that maybe you want shamed for being, or maybe somebody
- 15:25Speaker 3: else shamed you for being. It's like, how can we
- 15:27Speaker 3: create a space where like all parts of us get
- 15:29Speaker 3: to exist without feeling like we need to put ourselves
- 15:32Speaker 3: in little boxes. Like I don't want to live in
- 15:34Speaker 3: a fucking box.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Or wear a mask. That's fucking exhausting.
- 15:37Speaker 3: It's exhausting. It's like that will take up all of
- 15:40Speaker 3: your energy. And then you know, we do that, and
- 15:42Speaker 3: then we wonder why we can't find our people, yes,
- 15:45Speaker 3: or the people that we love or that we want
- 15:46Speaker 3: to spend time with don't want to spend time with us. Yeah,
- 15:49Speaker 3: it's like, well, how can you do those things when
- 15:51Speaker 3: you're not truly being who you are? How are they
- 15:53Speaker 3: supposed to come and find you?
- 15:54Speaker 2: Exactly? So, we want to create a space where all
- 15:56Speaker 2: women feel okay and excited to have these conversations. So
- 16:00Speaker 2: Monday Wednesday will be more about self development, storytelling, sharing
- 16:05Speaker 2: things that we've learned, having some amazing guests on board
- 16:08Speaker 2: that are experts in their field. And then Friday's just
- 16:11Speaker 2: full play. It's fun, Like I can't wait. I feel
- 16:14Speaker 2: like I'm more excited for those.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Episodes Fridays, like we're letting loose.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Honestly, Like we both don't drink, but I feel like
- 16:19Speaker 2: it's the time you'd have a champagne and just like
- 16:21Speaker 2: get wild. We've got our lollies.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we're gonna have to have like non alcoholic.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I love it. So yeah, we've got
- 16:30Speaker 2: some other big plans. So that's the episode side of things,
- 16:32Speaker 2: and then we've got some other big plans as well
- 16:34Speaker 2: for this year we do and it's things both of
- 16:37Speaker 2: us have always wanted to do, but there's just been
- 16:40Speaker 2: roadblocks or not the right timing, or it just hasn't flowed.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Are we gonna share?
- 16:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, So just a little insight to what twenty
- 16:49Speaker 3: twenty five is going to be like for she Risers
- 16:51Speaker 3: is we are wanting to do little intimate events, like
- 16:55Speaker 3: little like very exclusive intimate events for women who are
- 17:01Speaker 3: ready to really like immerse themselves in the community aspect
- 17:04Speaker 3: of personal development, self acceptance and this specific event, like,
- 17:09Speaker 3: we're going to be doing different themes for different events,
- 17:11Speaker 3: but no one theme is going to be the same,
- 17:13Speaker 3: No one event will be the same, which means, you know,
- 17:17Speaker 3: let's say, for example, we're only going to have twenty
- 17:19Speaker 3: tickets for this event. Once the twenty tickets are sold,
- 17:22Speaker 3: but that's it, We're never doing that again. We're never
- 17:25Speaker 3: doing that specific theme or event again, and so if
- 17:28Speaker 3: you want to get in, you will have to get
- 17:30Speaker 3: in it really really quickly. And that's what we want
- 17:32Speaker 3: to do. We want to bring like uniqueness to the
- 17:35Speaker 3: energy that we have the community that we have and
- 17:37Speaker 3: also the experience that we bring to you to really
- 17:41Speaker 3: immerse you into not only personal development, wayfulness, playfulness, fun, community, sensuality,
- 17:48Speaker 3: connecting with yourself but your true.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Self, and connecting with like minded women. We have big
- 17:54Speaker 2: plans for bigger events as well, which we'll talk about soon,
- 17:57Speaker 2: but the intimate, smaller groups, it's just so connecting and
- 18:02Speaker 2: a very common thing I hear women ask about and
- 18:05Speaker 2: struggling with is not being able to find their people.
- 18:08Speaker 2: So we're really excited for you guys to obviously get
- 18:10Speaker 2: to know Tiana and our dynamic whatever, but bring more
- 18:13Speaker 2: women together that are ready to have these conversations and
- 18:16Speaker 2: feel safe to fully express themselves. Because when you bring
- 18:19Speaker 2: women together and stood together like that, magic happens. And
- 18:22Speaker 2: these events are yeah, are going to be very empowering, inspiring,
- 18:25Speaker 2: but just so much freaking fun, like so much fun.
- 18:28Speaker 2: So yeah, I love how you said each event is
- 18:30Speaker 2: going to be so different. So we are going to
- 18:32Speaker 2: be running an event in February. The event in February
- 18:35Speaker 2: we will never ever run again. I'm talking the theme
- 18:38Speaker 2: of it, the speaker, the color, where it's at that
- 18:41Speaker 2: will never ever be run again. So if you come
- 18:43Speaker 2: to one of our events, you can guarantee if you
- 18:45Speaker 2: come to our second or our third, it's going to
- 18:47Speaker 2: be completely different. We will give little clues on Socials
- 18:50Speaker 2: as to what it's going to be about, but it's
- 18:53Speaker 2: capped at that twenty plus with a couple of our
- 18:55Speaker 2: girlfriends as well, because they're like, oh my god, I
- 18:57Speaker 2: need to come to this girl gang.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:00Speaker 2: Literally, that's going to be so much fun. The first
- 19:02Speaker 2: one's going to be held on the Gold Coast in February,
- 19:05Speaker 2: and our forum girls will get first access, so that's
- 19:07Speaker 2: probably gonna be The first half of the year is
- 19:09Speaker 2: a couple of smaller intimate events which we are just
- 19:12Speaker 2: so excited for the themes and how we're going to
- 19:14Speaker 2: run them. And then the second half of the year
- 19:16Speaker 2: as where we'd love to dive into live podcast events
- 19:19Speaker 2: and this is for a bigger audience and potentially take
- 19:22Speaker 2: it on a tour. Yeah, So we're talking all the
- 19:24Speaker 2: major like capitals, so Risbane, Gold co Sidney, Melbourne, maybe Perth,
- 19:29Speaker 2: maybe Hobart, Adelaide.
- 19:31Speaker 1: See what we can fit into these.
- 19:32Speaker 2: See what we can fit in There's a lot that
- 19:34Speaker 2: goes into running a big event like that. Depending on
- 19:36Speaker 2: like availability with the locations and where our audience is
- 19:39Speaker 2: as well, and where we feel pulled to go, maybeve
- 19:42Speaker 2: New Zealand, who knows that would be cool? Yeah, and
- 19:44Speaker 2: not only that, so we obviously know that a lot
- 19:46Speaker 2: of people can't come to face to face events. So
- 19:50Speaker 2: what do we have for our online girlies?
- 19:52Speaker 3: This is a part of what Ashley and I've been
- 19:53Speaker 3: talking about that we both wanted to do but haven't
- 19:56Speaker 3: yet aligned in the way that we wanted it to.
- 19:58Speaker 3: And just ever since coming together, it's just been like
- 20:00Speaker 3: one thing after another. And what we have for our
- 20:03Speaker 3: online girlies is going to be online courses so excellent.
- 20:07Speaker 3: We'll encapsulate a lot of personal development, you becoming your biggest, boldest,
- 20:12Speaker 3: most confident version of yourself and really giving you the
- 20:15Speaker 3: tools and resources to be able to achieve not only
- 20:20Speaker 3: the life that you want, but to become the woman
- 20:22Speaker 3: that you want. Yeah, you know, and a lot of
- 20:24Speaker 3: times it does feel a little bit like, you know,
- 20:27Speaker 3: how do we get to that next level? How do
- 20:29Speaker 3: I become the woman that I want to become? How
- 20:30Speaker 3: do I become the woman that I see on social
- 20:33Speaker 3: media living my dream life? And a lot of our
- 20:36Speaker 3: courses are going to be our knowledge and our wisdom
- 20:38Speaker 3: and our personal experience and storytelling put together to give
- 20:42Speaker 3: you a really beautiful experience and transformation for that next
- 20:47Speaker 3: level version of you that you know deep down that
- 20:50Speaker 3: you actually are.
- 20:51Speaker 2: And it's really cool because obviously we're doing a lot
- 20:53Speaker 2: of that on the podcast, but doing a course, it's
- 20:55Speaker 2: that next level of you actually integrating and practicing and
- 21:00Speaker 2: working on yourself like workbooks, there's live chats, you have
- 21:03Speaker 2: access to us for the support or like, it's a
- 21:06Speaker 2: whole immersive experience online compared to just listening to a
- 21:10Speaker 2: podcast on your morning walk. You know, yeah, and both
- 21:13Speaker 2: are amazing, but this is like that next level. It's
- 21:15Speaker 2: really for those women who are ready to step in
- 21:17Speaker 2: and actually take action.
- 21:18Speaker 3: If the space is for the women who are ready
- 21:20Speaker 3: to have that conversation.
- 21:21Speaker 1: You know.
- 21:22Speaker 3: It's like there's a level of depth of personal development
- 21:24Speaker 3: that you kind of do when you're doing affirmations and
- 21:27Speaker 3: you're doing this, you're doing that. There's different levels to it,
- 21:29Speaker 3: and it's like for us, even in our own journeys
- 21:32Speaker 3: separately and together, we've been able to take that level
- 21:35Speaker 3: of personal development to a completely different level, especially in
- 21:39Speaker 3: terms of like self acceptance, and that's what we want
- 21:42Speaker 3: to really bring in for you guys, to teach you
- 21:45Speaker 3: how you can embody that for yourselves and bring you
- 21:47Speaker 3: along on the journey with us. Like She Rises is
- 21:49Speaker 3: not just about us rising, it's about you coming with
- 21:52Speaker 3: us and rising as well.
- 21:53Speaker 1: We want to like.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly, like raise the frequency of everyone here
- 21:59Speaker 3: so that we can all grow together. And like that's
- 22:02Speaker 3: a beautiful part of sisterhood. It's like not like I
- 22:04Speaker 3: grow and you watch you grow together. You're coming with me.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Through power in that collaboration.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Absolutely connection through thick and thin, through easy and through hardship.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Like we're in this together, and it's like, let's take
- 22:17Speaker 3: this to the next level.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Yeah. So we've got the course which is really really cool,
- 22:20Speaker 2: and then we have another online thing that we'll be
- 22:22Speaker 2: doing later on that we're working on behind the scenes,
- 22:24Speaker 2: but takes a lot more time to kind of get
- 22:26Speaker 2: up and running. You know. What's cool about the course too,
- 22:30Speaker 2: is what I've learned in my last you know, ten
- 22:33Speaker 2: to fifteen years doing self development and you two also,
- 22:36Speaker 2: I know you've been head deep in it, especially like
- 22:38Speaker 2: the last six years. It's almost condensing everything that we've
- 22:42Speaker 2: learned and the most potent parts of it, the things
- 22:44Speaker 2: that have really transformed us and really changed us, we're
- 22:47Speaker 2: bringing into four weeks. It's like almost like a fast
- 22:51Speaker 2: tracked way to really step up and step into the
- 22:55Speaker 2: women that you want to be, which I think is
- 22:57Speaker 2: really cool because we'll continue to grow forever. But this
- 23:01Speaker 2: is like a really compacted like jam pack. Like there's
- 23:04Speaker 2: a lot that going to be in it. But when
- 23:06Speaker 2: you think of a course, sometimes I think, oh, of course,
- 23:08Speaker 2: that's a lot of hard work or I do have
- 23:10Speaker 2: the time for that. But the way that we deliver
- 23:12Speaker 2: this information and the way that we take you through
- 23:14Speaker 2: it is fun. One thing we always have been saying
- 23:18Speaker 2: with in our friendship was like it gets to be
- 23:20Speaker 2: a certain way, It gets to be fun, it gets
- 23:23Speaker 2: to be playful. Yes we're talking about serious things and
- 23:26Speaker 2: serious situations or conversations, but we also get to bring
- 23:29Speaker 2: play to it. And we're going to make sure that
- 23:31Speaker 2: your learning journey is really really fun. And I can
- 23:35Speaker 2: promise you that because we have fun doing it. Yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 2: so we're just going to bring the energy and you
- 23:38Speaker 2: guys are just going to be amongst it, and you
- 23:40Speaker 2: are It's always hard to talk about because once you're
- 23:42Speaker 2: in it, you'll be.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Like, ah, you'll understand.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I know what they're talking about it.
- 23:45Speaker 1: You couldn't have described it any better as.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Well, like a fast track to yeah mix.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Level version of yourself, because it is that.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I wish someone had done that for me when I
- 23:52Speaker 2: first started, Like here's a four weeks of everything I've learned,
- 23:56Speaker 2: my whole life jam packed for you.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Goham.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Literally I order been like perfect.
- 24:00Speaker 1: But have fun with it.
- 24:01Speaker 3: The things that we talk about, like some of our
- 24:04Speaker 3: gym sessions, Oh my gosh, MIC's on, Oh my god,
- 24:07Speaker 3: you guys would have a great time, Like it's so
- 24:09Speaker 3: much fun.
- 24:10Speaker 2: In the morning, we're talking like so deep, but.
- 24:14Speaker 3: It's deep stuff and it's playful.
- 24:16Speaker 1: It doesn't have to feel heavy.
- 24:17Speaker 3: And I like what you said, like a lot of
- 24:20Speaker 3: personal development has this like almost like negative connotation around
- 24:23Speaker 3: it where it's like scary and hard and heavy and
- 24:26Speaker 3: like you're going through the trenches for the lesson years,
- 24:29Speaker 3: you know. But it's like it's so doesn't have to
- 24:31Speaker 3: be like that. But you've got to know how to
- 24:34Speaker 3: do it, and you've got to be willing to keep
- 24:36Speaker 3: this light energy about you and curiosity when you're exploring
- 24:41Speaker 3: yourself right, curiosity is the biggest thing that has been
- 24:44Speaker 3: so beneficial for me on my personal development journey, friendships, relationships,
- 24:49Speaker 3: my business, all of the things, and that curiosity and
- 24:52Speaker 3: that lightheartedness is.
- 24:54Speaker 1: What will allow you to do the really.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Deep things but simultaneously experienced duality which is fun, which
- 25:02Speaker 3: is the opposite end of the spectrum, And it's learning
- 25:05Speaker 3: how to balance the duality of who you are as
- 25:07Speaker 3: a human and like all things in life, good, bad, easy, hard, heavier, playful,
- 25:14Speaker 3: you know, hardship, pleasure, like all of those different components
- 25:17Speaker 3: of life, and as learning how to still enjoy yourself
- 25:22Speaker 3: along the process and make it so fucking fun.
- 25:25Speaker 2: And then on the flip side too, if there is
- 25:27Speaker 2: something that you're going through really hard or that you're
- 25:28Speaker 2: finding difficult to work through or unpack, the sense of
- 25:32Speaker 2: community it comes with she rises. That's what makes it
- 25:35Speaker 2: lighter because you're not doing this alone. We're not made
- 25:38Speaker 2: to do life alone. We're not made to raise a
- 25:41Speaker 2: family by ourselves or work by ourself. Like we want
- 25:43Speaker 2: to be in connection. We thrive and we're connected. And
- 25:46Speaker 2: how good is going through life and achieving things and
- 25:49Speaker 2: doing cool things when you're sharing it with someone. Even
- 25:52Speaker 2: when I was thinking about the decision whether to do
- 25:54Speaker 2: this podcast by myself or get a new co host,
- 25:57Speaker 2: I was like, I know that I'm more than capable
- 25:59Speaker 2: to do it by myself, and I'm sure it'd be
- 26:00Speaker 2: great because I still get to share my message and
- 26:02Speaker 2: have amazing conversations. That did the Twelve Days of Christmas
- 26:04Speaker 2: last year. I absolutely loved it. But I want to
- 26:07Speaker 2: experience all of this with someone. I want to like
- 26:10Speaker 2: set goals and celebrate the wins and have someone catch
- 26:13Speaker 2: me when I fall I'm having a hard time and
- 26:15Speaker 2: hold that space for me, and I want to hold
- 26:16Speaker 2: the space for them, Like how cool is that we
- 26:18Speaker 2: can do that together? And that's what we're creating a
- 26:20Speaker 2: community of women who want the same thing. So yes,
- 26:23Speaker 2: it gets to be playful and fun, and it will be.
- 26:26Speaker 2: And if there's ikey moments, I like that word, ikey
- 26:28Speaker 2: over hard, there's ikey sticky moments. We're there to help you,
- 26:32Speaker 2: We're there to hold you, we're there to guide you.
- 26:34Speaker 2: You know we've got your back, and you will rise
- 26:37Speaker 2: because of all of that. So beautiful, so cool, so beautiful,
- 26:41Speaker 2: so obviously it's been quite a big rebrand. We're in
- 26:43Speaker 2: new uniforms, we've got a new co host, we've got
- 26:45Speaker 2: a new sime. It's all news. So we want to
- 26:48Speaker 2: quickly talk about the purpose of the rebrand because I've
- 26:50Speaker 2: could have got the same podcast name, but it just
- 26:53Speaker 2: felt like a chapter had closed, and I love a
- 26:56Speaker 2: new chapter. I feel like it's a fresh energy. And
- 26:58Speaker 2: I really wanted this podcast and this new name to
- 27:02Speaker 2: represent us where we're at, where we're going, where we've been,
- 27:06Speaker 2: what we want to achieve together for ourselves, in our friendship,
- 27:10Speaker 2: in our life, and with our community. And when I
- 27:13Speaker 2: first bought the name to you, she rises, you were like,
- 27:15Speaker 2: I love it. We actually, though, went back and forth
- 27:19Speaker 2: for days chat GBT, Steve, your family, other friends. We're
- 27:23Speaker 2: going asking our producers like what about this name? What
- 27:26Speaker 2: about this name? And nothing else clicked. We're in a hotel, remember,
- 27:30Speaker 2: for like hours. Yeah, I think we came up like
- 27:32Speaker 2: two undred fifty names and like none of them.
- 27:35Speaker 3: It just we went over so many things, and it
- 27:37Speaker 3: was just such an interesting thing because we were like,
- 27:39Speaker 3: oh my god, what's gonna encapsulate? Like yeah, really like capture,
- 27:43Speaker 3: like who we are? Well, where about where we're going,
- 27:46Speaker 3: where we want to bring you guys with us, and
- 27:48Speaker 3: it's like I remember coming to you Ashally, and I
- 27:50Speaker 3: was like, this is so incredible because when we think
- 27:53Speaker 3: about both of our lives, both of the journeys we've
- 27:56Speaker 3: been on and the things we've had to endure to
- 27:58Speaker 3: get where we are and be the women that we
- 27:59Speaker 3: are now, is about rising. It's about rising above everything,
- 28:04Speaker 3: all the things rising above at all. And it was
- 28:07Speaker 3: just like, oh my god, that's it, and we bost
- 28:09Speaker 3: looked at each other and we were like.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Done, done. It wasn't even a second thought. No, it's
- 28:12Speaker 2: really cool. And then the pink. You're a very bigy girl,
- 28:16Speaker 2: and I remember very colorful girl, and pink just kept
- 28:20Speaker 2: popping out to us.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Because I have dark hair.
- 28:22Speaker 3: The contrast, I believe this is a story I tell myself,
- 28:25Speaker 3: is that when I have lighter stuff on, it just
- 28:28Speaker 3: makes my hair pop and it's different contrast, and I
- 28:30Speaker 3: enjoy that. But then when I wear color, I'm like,
- 28:32Speaker 3: oh my god, is this too bold?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Too x y Z And you've converted me. Now.
- 28:38Speaker 2: I didn't come up with the tracky idea. You did.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Do you want to white TRACKI is because last you
- 28:42Speaker 2: guys would have seen, I've been wearing a black blazer
- 28:44Speaker 2: and black and almost looking more professional. So when Cianna
- 28:47Speaker 2: came to me with trackis, I was like, oh, what
- 28:49Speaker 2: do you mean trackies.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you were so resistant to it, but.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Then when you explained the feeling of what you wanted
- 28:54Speaker 2: them to feel and us to feel as we're sitting here,
- 28:57Speaker 2: I'll let you explain it, because it was like, that
- 28:58Speaker 2: makes sense.
- 28:59Speaker 3: I think what I initially brought to you. I was like,
- 29:02Speaker 3: I loved your uniform before. I think you guys looked
- 29:04Speaker 3: all but it was like for this new season and
- 29:07Speaker 3: new chapter, I was like, I think it's cool because
- 29:10Speaker 3: the conversations that we do have, it's like, you know,
- 29:12Speaker 3: we're training or we're sitting at home having dinner and
- 29:15Speaker 3: like it's getting ready to go to bed, we're comfie.
- 29:17Speaker 3: It's like, I want you guys to feel like you're
- 29:19Speaker 3: sitting here with us with a coffee and we're having
- 29:22Speaker 3: a chat, and I think that's really cool.
- 29:24Speaker 1: And the comfort vibe, it's like it's a little less.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Professional, but it's also like it's real, it's raw, and
- 29:30Speaker 3: that's you know, kind of expresses and describes a lot
- 29:34Speaker 3: of what we want to bring to the podcast, and
- 29:35Speaker 3: I was like, imagine if we could just sit in
- 29:37Speaker 3: trackies and not have to worry about like tanning or
- 29:40Speaker 3: our skin showing, or like having to make sure that
- 29:42Speaker 3: my chest isn't out, or like you know, just like
- 29:45Speaker 3: those things, like you know, like I don't even have
- 29:46Speaker 3: to shave my legs and you guys won't even know.
- 29:50Speaker 2: We're just comfy.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I will, but you might't know it.
- 29:53Speaker 2: It's so cool. So like that's all with trackies and
- 29:56Speaker 2: they're just comfy and it's awesome. We don't have to
- 29:58Speaker 2: think about a uniform. But it's cute. We got she
- 30:00Speaker 2: Ris on the front of it, which you guys, if
- 30:02Speaker 2: you're watching a short clip you could see. But yeah,
- 30:04Speaker 2: it just feels so cool. How do you feel in
- 30:06Speaker 2: the check? I love it, Yeah, absolutely love it. It's
- 30:08Speaker 2: so comfortable, Like you can't not be comfortable in trackies. Right,
- 30:11Speaker 2: So we're doing pink and then potentially white. I've got
- 30:13Speaker 2: them on order, and then Freaky Fridays is black. Yes,
- 30:16Speaker 2: it's very sexy. So something else you want to talk about,
- 30:19Speaker 2: which I briefly told before, I think on an episode
- 30:23Speaker 2: last year because I was just like, oh my god,
- 30:24Speaker 2: I've met this new girl. She's amazing. But we thought
- 30:26Speaker 2: retail in case you've missed it, like how we met,
- 30:29Speaker 2: because I honestly, I feel like a couple of months
- 30:32Speaker 2: before I met you, I had said to Steve, I'm
- 30:34Speaker 2: not as open to meeting people these days. I felt
- 30:38Speaker 2: like this last couple of years, maybe since I've had Tala,
- 30:41Speaker 2: my priority shifted. I'm more careful when my energy goes.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I don't have as much time just beend with my
- 30:47Speaker 2: close girlfriends. At the moment, I stopped going to a
- 30:49Speaker 2: lot of branded events because it was like whatever I
- 30:53Speaker 2: say yes to outside of my family, like it has
- 30:55Speaker 2: to be really worth it. And I remember saying to Steve, like,
- 30:58Speaker 2: I'm just really content with my group of girls I have.
- 31:01Speaker 2: I've had like the same girlfriends I've had for the
- 31:02Speaker 2: last twenty years. I just feel really cyent, and I
- 31:05Speaker 2: just I don't really want to meet anyone else because
- 31:07Speaker 2: I didn't have a lot of time and space. And
- 31:09Speaker 2: then I was at the gym one day and I
- 31:12Speaker 2: think you complimented me on my gym set, which would
- 31:14Speaker 2: have been baseline. I'm sure I'm bright and colorful.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Actually, and I.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Remember turning around just thinking, Gosh, this girl has such
- 31:20Speaker 2: a nice energy. You're just so friendly and approachable. There
- 31:24Speaker 2: was no ego. I almost think I felt a little
- 31:26Speaker 2: bit nervous or not intimidated, but just like, God, she's
- 31:29Speaker 2: so nice. But I felt really drawn to you, and
- 31:32Speaker 2: I felt really inspired of like, it's cool how you
- 31:34Speaker 2: just like spark up a conversation with a complete stranger,
- 31:37Speaker 2: because I've got fear around that. When I was younger,
- 31:39Speaker 2: I used to be so socire. I went to every
- 31:41Speaker 2: event I could talk to anyone. Now, as I've gotten older,
- 31:45Speaker 2: it just kills my soul to have service level chitchat.
- 31:50Speaker 2: I really get uncomfortable with it now. So I get
- 31:53Speaker 2: a bit awkward with the small chat and I just
- 31:55Speaker 2: don't like it. But with you, I just felt different. Anyways,
- 31:58Speaker 2: went about our way, and we just started bumping into
- 32:00Speaker 2: each other all the time.
- 32:02Speaker 1: At the movies at the gym.
- 32:04Speaker 2: That's right, movies with Steve one night, and so after
- 32:07Speaker 2: I'd bumped into a couple of times and I told
- 32:08Speaker 2: Steve I'd met this girl. She really long dark hair,
- 32:10Speaker 2: She's really cool, like like should be a really fun friend.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Nothing happened, obviously, but then we're at the movies and
- 32:16Speaker 2: you went by yourself. I think I did.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I took myself on a solo date.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Yeah, And as we walked out, you like waved and
- 32:22Speaker 2: smiled and I was like, hey, but I think I
- 32:24Speaker 2: was chatting with Steve.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Got to the car and I was like, that's that girl. No,
- 32:29Speaker 2: I've been looking for how I would not like I
- 32:32Speaker 2: wanted to like search up on social media, like connect
- 32:34Speaker 2: with you, and I was like, David, why did I
- 32:36Speaker 2: go and say hello? But I think I was just
- 32:38Speaker 2: present with Steve and like got caught the moment. And
- 32:40Speaker 2: then I even wanted my snapchat and I was like,
- 32:42Speaker 2: I'm looking for this girl. She goes to email for
- 32:44Speaker 2: pac Bet, long dark hair. Her name starts with Tea
- 32:48Speaker 2: anyone nowhere. No one helped me our route. And then
- 32:52Speaker 2: it was a random Sunday that I never go to
- 32:55Speaker 2: the gym on a Sunday at two o'clock in the afternoon.
- 32:58Speaker 2: What the fuck was I thinking?
- 32:59Speaker 1: Same for me, who goes to the gym.
- 33:00Speaker 2: At o'clock in the afternoon. Apparently both of us never
- 33:03Speaker 2: and we've never been since. But went to the gym
- 33:06Speaker 2: and I walked past you and we waved and said hi,
- 33:08Speaker 2: and then I kept walking and then I stopped. I
- 33:10Speaker 2: was like, had to have like an internal conversation of
- 33:12Speaker 2: like turn around and go and talk to her. So
- 33:15Speaker 2: I turned around, like dating, I'm like, hi, I keep
- 33:19Speaker 2: bumping into you everywhere, and who are you?
- 33:21Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 33:23Speaker 2: And then I can't even remember what you said.
- 33:25Speaker 3: You were like, I've been trying to find you on
- 33:27Speaker 3: social media, and I'm like, what's your social media?
- 33:28Speaker 1: We should hang out?
- 33:29Speaker 2: Yeah. Then you're like, do you want to train together? Yes?
- 33:31Speaker 2: I was like, I've been looking for a consistent training
- 33:33Speaker 2: buddy for so long.
- 33:34Speaker 1: That's right, that we should train together.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because I trained with my girlfriends, but no one
- 33:39Speaker 2: was very consistent. I feel like my friends like we'll
- 33:41Speaker 2: do a session here, or like we do something there,
- 33:43Speaker 2: but no one could actually commit and lock in times.
- 33:46Speaker 2: And I really enjoy training with friends. I just find
- 33:49Speaker 2: it so much more motivating and I love having a
- 33:50Speaker 2: good gas bag. So yeah, you said, well let's train together.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Do you want to do legs tomorrow?
- 33:54Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, that is do legs to row
- 33:56Speaker 3: And then we haven't left each other since literally literally.
- 33:59Speaker 2: I feel like in that first session, I opened up
- 34:02Speaker 2: to you about so much that was going on in
- 34:04Speaker 2: my life was like a word vomit. I remember messaging
- 34:07Speaker 2: after just being like, please don't tell anyone that I
- 34:09Speaker 2: haven't opened up to anything about that.
- 34:11Speaker 3: I tell me that.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I was like, oh my gosh, I don't even know
- 34:13Speaker 2: this girl. But I was like worried, and you were like,
- 34:16Speaker 2: it's an evoult, Like everything you say with me, everything
- 34:19Speaker 2: you tell me is confidential. Yeah, it's staying with me.
- 34:22Speaker 2: And then like, yeah, we started training twice a week,
- 34:24Speaker 2: three times a week, four times a week, and yeah,
- 34:26Speaker 2: we've literally been kind of joined at the hip. Beverisde Yes,
- 34:29Speaker 2: so true, and it's been really beautiful and in that
- 34:32Speaker 2: like it's probably been about six months now, maybe longer.
- 34:34Speaker 2: We've both gone through so much, like from relationship breakdowns,
- 34:39Speaker 2: from me closing baseline to my brain surgery to you
- 34:42Speaker 2: moving a couple of times. Like a lot of stuff's
- 34:44Speaker 2: happened this year, and it's been really hard, but it's
- 34:48Speaker 2: been really beautiful to have each other by our sides
- 34:51Speaker 2: through it all.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It's so interesting.
- 34:53Speaker 3: I don't think I've told you this before, but around
- 34:55Speaker 3: the time when we met, I made this like packed
- 34:58Speaker 3: with myself. I've been through different seasons as we all
- 35:00Speaker 3: go through, and you know, there was a period I
- 35:02Speaker 3: went through where like a little bit more of like
- 35:04Speaker 3: a lonelier season, you know, when like your closer friends
- 35:06Speaker 3: are a little bit more busy and you don't really
- 35:08Speaker 3: have like maybe you're withdrawing a little bit more feeling
- 35:11Speaker 3: like a little bit more like in an isolated season.
- 35:13Speaker 3: I feel like I go through these moments where I
- 35:15Speaker 3: go isolation season and then I have a lot of
- 35:18Speaker 3: connection and then I isolated kind of like that, and
- 35:21Speaker 3: I made this pact with myself and I was like,
- 35:23Speaker 3: I'm going to get myself in front of rejection as
- 35:27Speaker 3: much as I possibly can. And I remember thinking, like
- 35:30Speaker 3: I'm going to have a conversation with every single person
- 35:32Speaker 3: that I meet. And it was something that I did,
- 35:35Speaker 3: and I think that was like part of the reason
- 35:37Speaker 3: why I like had come up to you as well. Also,
- 35:39Speaker 3: you looked amazing and I was just like, outfit, it's
- 35:41Speaker 3: cool as hell.
- 35:42Speaker 1: And I just like sparked up for conversation.
- 35:44Speaker 3: It was like for me also getting over the fear
- 35:47Speaker 3: of rejection and like being afraid to just start a
- 35:49Speaker 3: conversation with somebody and having all these mental barriers around
- 35:53Speaker 3: not being able to just start a conversation with somebody,
- 35:56Speaker 3: you know, Like I was like, fuck, I limit myself
- 35:58Speaker 3: so much in that area. I'm like, I don't want
- 36:00Speaker 3: to do that anymore, you know. And so for like
- 36:02Speaker 3: six months or so, I was doing that and like, yeah,
- 36:05Speaker 3: just honestly, just like anyone that I could have a
- 36:08Speaker 3: conversation with. And it's amazing who you meet, what you
- 36:11Speaker 3: can learn. And like, little did I know that, like
- 36:14Speaker 3: that conversation that I sparked with you would lead to
- 36:17Speaker 3: such a beautiful friendship, Like and I sent you a
- 36:20Speaker 3: quote a little while ago, and it was like, people
- 36:22Speaker 3: wonder how you become close so quickly, But it was
- 36:25Speaker 3: because I've never had to ask her to be a
- 36:26Speaker 3: decent friend, you know, And it was, Yeah, from the
- 36:30Speaker 3: very beginning, I'm going to cry for sure, from the
- 36:32Speaker 3: very beginning, we just gelled together. And then we were
- 36:36Speaker 3: both so safe for each other. We accepted everything that
- 36:39Speaker 3: we brought forward, and even if it felt edgy or
- 36:41Speaker 3: scary or something that we thought like we wouldn't love
- 36:44Speaker 3: each other for or that we wouldn't be loved for,
- 36:46Speaker 3: it was like that person like you had me in
- 36:48Speaker 3: that you know, and I had you in the things
- 36:51Speaker 3: that you brought to me, And that's why I believe
- 36:54Speaker 3: like we've been able to create such a deep friendship
- 36:56Speaker 3: so quickly in such a short period of time. It's
- 36:58Speaker 3: like sometimes time doesn't matter.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Sometimes it's the investment that.
- 37:01Speaker 3: You make with that person. Very much that person shows
- 37:04Speaker 3: up for you is like how deep of a bond
- 37:07Speaker 3: you actually create. And we've spoken about this tons how
- 37:10Speaker 3: much you've been a lifeline for me in this last
- 37:12Speaker 3: like six like eight months. Like I literally don't think
- 37:15Speaker 3: I would have been able to get through like a
- 37:16Speaker 3: lot of the last eight months without our friendship and
- 37:18Speaker 3: your support and like constantly picking up the phone to
- 37:21Speaker 3: like and so my voice messages when I'm like having
- 37:24Speaker 3: a mental breakdown and just like crying about mate breakup
- 37:27Speaker 3: or all these different parts of life. And it's just
- 37:30Speaker 3: life is so much better when you have like real
- 37:33Speaker 3: people in your life who get you, who love you,
- 37:36Speaker 3: who accept you for all of who you are.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Every friendship, every relationship, every conversation serves its purpose. But
- 37:44Speaker 2: some people in my life and we're the same with
- 37:45Speaker 2: your life, and anyone listening you'll relate to your life
- 37:48Speaker 2: as well, they can't hold parts of you or they
- 37:51Speaker 2: don't accept parts of you. And everyone responds to situations
- 37:54Speaker 2: and to people based on their own experiences, based on
- 37:57Speaker 2: their own beliefs and their own situations. But it's so
- 38:01Speaker 2: nice that everything that I didn't think people could love
- 38:04Speaker 2: me for, or I've felt people have rejected me for
- 38:07Speaker 2: in the past, you have actually loved on me and
- 38:10Speaker 2: vice versa. And that's just been so healing because it
- 38:14Speaker 2: just allows you to love on yourself more and it
- 38:17Speaker 2: gives you permission. It makes you more brave to be
- 38:19Speaker 2: more of yourself because there's evidence that you can be
- 38:23Speaker 2: that and still be loved. So you bring it forward more.
- 38:26Speaker 2: And the more you bring it forward, the more authentic
- 38:28Speaker 2: you are. The more authentic you are, the more you're
- 38:30Speaker 2: going to attract the right people. Maybe some of the
- 38:33Speaker 2: old people will drift away as well. And that's also okay, yeah,
- 38:37Speaker 2: that's our little friendship love story.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I'm literally tearing up. I know.
- 38:42Speaker 3: There have been many conversations that we've had where we
- 38:45Speaker 3: both just like start like tearing up and the dr packs.
- 38:47Speaker 1: We're just like so grateful.
- 38:49Speaker 2: And once again, that's what we want all of you
- 38:50Speaker 2: to feel. We want you to be your biggest, boldest,
- 38:54Speaker 2: most authentic self, whether that is braddy, bitchy, loud, sassy, spicy,
- 38:59Speaker 2: like whatever it is. We want you to bring that
- 39:01Speaker 2: forward and we're going to love you for it. It
- 39:03Speaker 2: doesn't ever mean your disrespect to other people or anything
- 39:06Speaker 2: like that. There's obviously a respectful way to communicate or whatever,
- 39:09Speaker 2: but we want all of you to be seen. There's
- 39:11Speaker 2: no point pushing down parts of you because it's just
- 39:14Speaker 2: going to explode one day in probably an unhealthy way
- 39:17Speaker 2: that you're not proud of.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just like we're done with the error of
- 39:20Speaker 3: Like it is what it is, and I don't get
- 39:22Speaker 3: me wrong. Like you can consciously like think and move
- 39:25Speaker 3: through a situation that you're going through in a really
- 39:28Speaker 3: beautiful way. It doesn't mean that you don't take responsibility
- 39:30Speaker 3: for your life or your circumstances. But what it does
- 39:33Speaker 3: mean is that you have full expression, like full self
- 39:36Speaker 3: expression of like this is what I'm going through, this
- 39:39Speaker 3: is what I'm feeling, giving myself permission in this moment,
- 39:42Speaker 3: I'm going to have a bit of.
- 39:43Speaker 1: A meltdown right now.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm going to have a.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Moment where I'm actually really pissed off about what that
- 39:47Speaker 3: person did. I'm really annoyed at myself for what I
- 39:51Speaker 3: did in this way, but I'll do better next time. Right.
- 39:55Speaker 3: No matter what expression it is, it gets to be there,
- 39:58Speaker 3: you know, And that's the whole part of like self acceptance.
- 40:01Speaker 2: And you have to feel something to heal it. If
- 40:04Speaker 2: you push down and park it over there or sweep
- 40:06Speaker 2: under the rug, it's going to come back up one
- 40:08Speaker 2: hundred percent of will. And the longer you leave it,
- 40:10Speaker 2: the more it just like gets bigger and uglier and
- 40:13Speaker 2: you feel heavier. The more you can just allow it
- 40:16Speaker 2: to all be seen, accept it all that it all
- 40:18Speaker 2: come up. Like I guarantee you be able to move
- 40:20Speaker 2: through that with a lot more grace, kindness and compassion
- 40:23Speaker 2: for yourself and for other people.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a part of it, isn't it.
- 40:27Speaker 3: Yeah. It always feels so much heavier when you're like
- 40:31Speaker 3: harboring emotions and feelings and thoughts and things for the
- 40:34Speaker 3: last fifteen years. Good luck having energy for anything else.
- 40:39Speaker 3: That's what you are doing. And I know it because
- 40:40Speaker 3: I've done it. Yeah, Like I did it for so
- 40:42Speaker 3: many years where I was just like, you know, so
- 40:45Speaker 3: guarded from my own feelings and emotions and expression that
- 40:47Speaker 3: I was just like, yeah, it's fine, Nope, it's fine,
- 40:49Speaker 3: acted like I didn't care about anything. But I was
- 40:51Speaker 3: so depleted and I felt dull.
- 40:55Speaker 1: It was heavy, My life felt dull. It was like
- 40:57Speaker 1: this color.
- 40:58Speaker 3: There was no color to my life because I didn't
- 41:00Speaker 3: let myself feel anything. And you know what's funny about that.
- 41:04Speaker 3: You don't get to choose what you suppress. So if
- 41:06Speaker 3: you suppress things that are scary or hard or uncomfortable,
- 41:10Speaker 3: you're also suppressing your joy, your love, your pleasure. Like
- 41:13Speaker 3: you don't get to choose which way it goes. You
- 41:15Speaker 3: just suppress everything.
- 41:16Speaker 2: So it's like your dult down version of yourself, Like
- 41:19Speaker 2: why would anyone want to be that so much?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Just like missing out on like the best parts of
- 41:24Speaker 3: life and not like taking the goodness away from experience
- 41:28Speaker 3: and the goodness that does get to come from life,
- 41:31Speaker 3: from friendship, fromout love, from success, from whatever.
- 41:34Speaker 2: The things that you want, and like life's short, Tomorrow's
- 41:37Speaker 2: not guaranteed, So like allow yourself to live life in
- 41:41Speaker 2: your full expression, having that full experience being a human,
- 41:44Speaker 2: which is navigating all the ups and downs and all
- 41:46Speaker 2: the emotions it's all welcome, but you've got to be
- 41:48Speaker 2: in the right environment and around the right people.
- 41:51Speaker 3: I think, Yeah, be picky about the people that you
- 41:54Speaker 3: put yourself as well. You know, you're allowed to be yes, Like,
- 41:57Speaker 3: oh my god, you have so much permission to be
- 41:59Speaker 3: picky about the people that you spend time with, who
- 42:02Speaker 3: you give energy.
- 42:03Speaker 1: To, who you give your love to.
- 42:05Speaker 3: You're allowed to be picky with that because the people
- 42:07Speaker 3: around you will either support or hinder where you go
- 42:11Speaker 3: next in yourself, not in life or success or anything
- 42:14Speaker 3: like obviously all those things, but how you feel about yourself. Yeah,
- 42:18Speaker 3: why aren't we living how we would want to be
- 42:21Speaker 3: if we didn't have time left?
- 42:22Speaker 2: Yeah, if you had like four weeks left to live,
- 42:24Speaker 2: how differently would you live already? Guys, we just wanted
- 42:27Speaker 2: to share about, Yeah, what's coming to the podcast And
- 42:29Speaker 2: if you guys get to know Tiana Moore, you are
- 42:31Speaker 2: gonna obviously get to know a lot more about her
