  she was doing independent study. She wasn't showing up to school

  and so people didn't see her. And when she started not having

  assignments come in, that is when they went to check on her.

  Sheriff's detectives are continuing their search for 9

  year old Melody Buzzard, sharing an update in the case and

  School District detectives have confirmed that Melody was seen

  The vehicle was determined to be a rental car no longer in

  Ashley's possession. At this point in the

  to be a wig that is darker and straighter than her natural

  may have been used to alter her appearance.
