- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Baddie and Progress Podcast.
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Um today's episode is gonna be a lot of calling out, but you know what?
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Some of you need to hear it.
- 0:13SPEAKER_00: So if you feel called out, it's probably because you know it's meant for you.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: But yeah, um, you are catching me on kind of a bad week.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, actually, I don't know, it might be a little bit better now.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: I got sick this weekend and that was low-key such a nightmare because I mean it was okay because I got to rest this weekend, but it just sucked, you know, like why am I getting sick during the weekend?
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: This is my time to relax or have fun, and I'm over here getting sick and getting my period.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: It was just it was terrible.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: But I actually am recovering already, so um both ending my period and at the end of this cold, I got a really bad cold over the weekend on Saturday or Sunday, wait, I can't remember, but yeah, I'm doing better now.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: But if I sound gross and nasally, it's because of that.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I'm still recovering.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: But, anyways, we are gonna get into this episode, and yeah, I'm just gonna be calling you out.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I'm just kidding, not everybody needs to hear this, but I would say a lot of people do.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Today's episode is gonna be all around pricing.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: So obviously, I'm a coach, and that is my job, so that means that there's money involved, right?
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: You invest into a coach to help you get the body of your dreams, right?
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: It's my job, it's how I make a living, and I'm not gonna lie, it's the best job that I've ever fucking had.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Like, literally, I get to change women's lives.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Of course, I want to get paid for that.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: But, anyways, it is an investment, right?
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: And I think a lot of women fail to recognize that.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: You know, it's an investment in yourself at the end of the day, it's not just something that you're like randomly paying for, you're investing in yourself, you're making yourself a better person overall.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: You're investing in your health, you're investing in knowledge, you're investing into feeling good and confident and sexy again.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Which sounds like something that you should put money into, right?
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: But for some women out there, sometimes they say that they can't afford it, and then they just close that chapter of their life.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: But here's where I'm gonna hit you with the call out, okay?
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Some of these girls go to brunch every weekend, or some of these girls go to dinner every weekend, and I see them posting there on cocktail number four, or you just placed your seventh Amazon order of the week, and it's usually just a bunch of junk that you don't even need that you just saw that looked cute, and then you're probably gonna forget about in like a month.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Let's be real.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: In my experience as a coach, the women who say that they can't afford coaching usually fall into one of three categories.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Number one being that you don't believe that you'll actually follow through, and so you don't want to waste the money.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Number two being that you're scared that you're gonna try, but it's not gonna work for you.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: And then number three being that deep down you just don't want to do the work, and the price gives you an easy out.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And as you can see, none of these are even money problems, they're just actual fears, you know.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: And those fears are exactly what is keeping you stuck in the same spot that you're at right now, and that's why nothing's changing.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: Now I know that there are some women that just genuinely cannot afford it at the moment, and they will do their best in the future to invest in themselves and get the help that they need.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: But there are women out there that use money as an excuse when the real issue is their fears.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna get into each of the three that I mentioned a little bit deeper here.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: So the first one that I mentioned was not having belief in yourself enough to follow through, and you feel like you're just gonna waste money.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: So this is gonna be the belief piece, and when you don't believe in yourself, then investing in yourself feels kind of stupid.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: Like, why would you spend money on a result if you don't think you're capable of getting it, right?
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: So that just prompts you to like wait, but like for what?
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Why are you waiting?
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Like, are you trying to have your confidence show up first?
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Because I'm sorry, that's not how it works.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: The confidence comes from doing the thing, not waiting for it to come so that you can do the thing.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: The confidence comes from doing the work.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: As I talked about in an earlier episode, confidence gets built from doing the reps, and the reason why people have such shitty self-confidence in themselves is because they've let themselves down so many times that now you don't believe in yourself, and that freaking sucks, but you have to start putting in the reps so that you can believe in yourself again.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: It doesn't just magically happen one day, you have to do the work.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: I feel like this belief piece ties a lot into the fear piece as well.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: A lot of women are scared of what happens if they try and it still doesn't work out for them because most women feel like they've tried everything and nothing has worked out for them.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: But the truth is, and I talk about this in an earlier episode too, the truth is that most women just don't stick to something long enough for it to work, and so you feel like you're trying and failing and trying and failing and trying and failing and nothing's working.
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: And so another reason why women give this excuse of the price is too high is because in reality they feel like they've tried everything and you're just trying to protect yourself by not starting.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: The price is just a shield, and I'm telling you, that's what's keeping you stuck.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: Convincing yourself that nothing works for you and that you're a failure is not gonna get you anywhere.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: I promise that if you stick to something long enough, you will see results, but then there's also the people that just don't want to do the work, and like, you know what, if you don't want to do the work, then cool.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: Like, just stay where you are.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: The last part is the work piece, right?
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: This is putting in the work.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: And there's women out there who know that somewhere underneath it all, underneath the result that she's looking for, that this would require her to actually show up consistently.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: And that scares her way more than a price tag ever could.
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: And I get it, you know, it's hard work.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: If it was easy, then everyone would be shredded.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: I know, I know that there's women out there who don't want to do the work and stay where you are then.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Stay exactly where you are.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Because guess what?
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: You make the rest of us look really fucking good.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to piss anyone off, but um, that's just actually how I feel.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: But I will say, if you are one of those people that's scared to put in the work and you're just I don't know, lazy to make this a part of your life, I'm telling you, it is so worth it.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: It's so worth it because I'm not just saying because of your body and the way it looks, but you gain so, so much from this lifestyle.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: Like whatever, I'm not here to convince you, but it has changed my life, truly.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: It's changed my confidence, it's changed my energy, it's changed my health, it's changed how I view myself, and I would just really love if more women were able to experience that.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: And I say this because I remember a time where I was so insecure in my body that I didn't want to show any ounce of skin ever.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: And I I don't feel that way anymore.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: And I don't want you to feel that way anymore because I feel like women deserve to feel beautiful.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Because at the end of the day, we are women, like we are beauty.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: You deserve to feel good in your skin, so I feel like it's super sad when women let the fear or the work or their belief in themselves get in the way of the results that they could achieve and the confidence that they can gain from it.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, as a coach, sometimes I see this, and sometimes women say that they can't afford coaching, and I I understand the women that really can't afford it, but then there's the women that let these things get in the way of it and just use a the price as kind of like a mask.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: But what the real issue is is their belief in themselves or the fear that's playing into this decision, or just not wanting to do the work.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: But let me ask you this what does it actually cost to stay where you are?
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Because I don't want to spend another year not recognizing myself in photos, I don't want to spend another year hating what I see in the mirror, or another summer sitting out of having fun and not making any memories.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Because guess what?
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: That has a cost too.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: It just doesn't show up in your bank statement.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: Now, this isn't me telling you that you have to work with me.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: You do not have to work with me.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: But if you listen to this and you felt something, it's not about the price.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: It's about either the fear, the work, or your belief in yourself.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: And when you're ready to get the results of your dreams in spite of these things, you know where to find me.
