Born in the United States and raised in Mexico, he spent his life moving between identities, social classes and cultures. He talks about his childhood and abusive father, the friendships and relationships that shaped him, the realities of class in Mexico, and the strange experience of being both deeply connected to Mexico and permanently marked as American.
