- Jessica Figueroa: Hello, my just for today listeners. If you guys don't know who John Maxwell is, boy, is he a leader inside of the self-development leadership community. He's also on the teaching staff of a church here in Palm Beach County called Christ Fellowship, which is where I met Jesus and I've spent 20 years of my life. Well, John Maxwell one time in a sermon was telling us that their name he used to tell his kids and his grandkids, I'm sure he still does, that their name meant something. That being a Maxwell meant something. So, what is your name? And are you explaining to yourself and to the people in your immediate family that it means something? And then what does it mean? I'm a marler. My kids are marlers. What does that mean? What does it mean to be a marlar? And then whatever it does mean to be a marlar, do the people around us know that? Are they like, yeah, the marlers, they this, or the marlers, they that? Or you can always expect this from the marlers. Are the marlers known for being fun? Are the marlers known for being adventurous? Are they known for being having deep faith? But your name means something. It was given to your family. There's a history of people behind it. So today, think about your name. The name you have right now, it could be your married name, could be your your if you're a kid listening to this, a teenager, could be the name you have right now. But it means something. There's other people before you that had this name for many generations. What does it mean? To have your name. That's all I want you to do today to think about what it means to have your name. Because I know God's into names. How many names do we have for God? Because names mean something. So, what does your name mean? What does it mean to you? And talk about it with your family today, whoever that is. Maybe it's your sister or brother. Have a conversation about your name and what it means. I'm talking about your last name. Great job today, guys. Listening. Tuning into this every single day is valuable. And I hope you see that. I hope you see the growth in your life and I hope you take time to honor it. And I appreciate you and I'll see you tomorrow.
