When a seller's contract lands in my inbox, it does not go into ChatGPT or any public AI. Here is what I do instead, and why.
Private documents go to an open-source model running on my own hardware, sandboxed with no outside connection. Then: AI shopping agents have a budget but no brand loyalty, and what that means for anyone selling anything.
And the one that might matter most: protect your ideas. Do not leave them in the comments for someone else's AI to scrape and sell.
