- 0:00SPEAKER_00: There's a common misconception that we have as we're starting something new, something that I dealt with myself for sure, but we have it backwards.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: I'm going to explain exactly what I'm talking about because this misconception, this belief that we have, is keeping us held in our current position and not letting us move forward.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: Here's how we break through the Massive Agent Podcast.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: We lead generation tips and strategies to give you more leads and sell more homes.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: I love to buy houses.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: I like to sell houses.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: It takes brass balls to sell it.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Wait a minute.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Leads a week.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: You're a week.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: I've had better.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: Have I got your attention now?
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: Here's your host, Dustin Brom.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: What is up, guys?
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the Massive Agent Podcast, episode 299.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: I am your host, Dustin Brome, here in Salt Lake City.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Today's episode is short and sweet.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: There's a concept that I want to explain and go over because I didn't get this in the beginning and it fucked me up.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: It held me back.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: This is a misconception that I hear all the time.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: And in fact, the reason that I'm doing this podcast today on this topic is because I was getting ready to do this talk as the topic tomorrow on our Massive Agent Society coaching call for the week.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: And then I had a couple messages come in, and both were the same thing.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: And you'll see here in a minute, I'll tell you exactly what those were.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: But I realized, holy shit, like this is so widespread, this common belief, and it's so wrong, it's so backwards, and it's it's not serving us.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna dive into that here in just a second.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the Massive Agent Podcast.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Dustin Brohm, and what's crazy is we're on episode 299, one episode away from 300.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Next week's show is gonna be kind of special.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, obviously it's 300, but uh we're gonna do something a little different next week, and I'm excited for that.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: But if you are new to the show, welcome.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: If you are old to the show, welcome.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: God bless you.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Thank you for listening.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Before we get started, I need to give a shout out to our sponsors of the show.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: BAMX is an incredible community built by BAM, Broke Agent Media.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: It's started, BAMX started as an online course, online learning platform, and it's it's grown into, I mean, it still is that, but it's now become a community of like-minded, ambitious entrepreneurial agents that are all doing, they're all taking action, they're all learning by doing, which is really cool.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: And it's just become this incredible community.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: You can join BAMX for as little as$10 a month and make sure that you use code MASSIVE at checkout to get 10% off for the year.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: You can join BAMX and get more information to find out exactly what it's all about over at massiveagentpodcast.com slash BAMX.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Make sure you do that right away.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: Another great tool for agents is called Keeping Current Matters.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: If you've been in the industry for a while, you've probably seen Keeping Current Matters is or KCM's.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Let's just say KCM.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: It's keeping current matters is.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: That sounds fucking weird.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: KCM's graphs and graphics and and infographics, because they do a better job than any economists that I've ever seen at showing exactly what's happening in the housing market, but not just like here's the news, but what it means.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: Here's what you need to know if you're selling, here's what you need to know if you're buying, here's the important, like, here's the perspective that you're not going to get from the mainstream media.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: KCM does a hell of a job doing the research.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: They have all the data, and then they decipher it for agents.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: So if you are brand new as an agent or you're a veteran of 30 years, you need to know what's going on.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: You need to be armed with information and data, but you can't spend all damn day researching.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm not an economist.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: I'm a marketer, I'm a business guy.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: I just need the Cliffs notes.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: KCM has the Cliffs notes, and they give it to you in a very easy-to-digest format where you can then take that and communicate it to your clients in a way where they're going to be like, why has no one explained it to us like this before?
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: KCM does that for you.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: Try KCM.com slash BAM gets you a discount.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: Check out the service, try it out.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: It's a tool you need in your tool belt if you are really going to become a real estate advisor, not just a salesperson.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: I'm so tired of people saying agents are salespeople.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, technically, I guess, but really we're we're guides, we're advisors.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: So aspire to be a better advisor, not just a salesperson.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Because if you're a salesperson, that means you're trying to convince someone to do something they don't know they need to do or they don't want to do.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: And I don't I just don't like that.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: We are advisors.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: They know they want to buy a house, we help them do it, right?
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Maybe you have to get them over the hump.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Maybe you need to help them get out of their own way so that they can see that it's possible now.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: But I can't remember the last time ever that I mean, think about your own career.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: When was the last time that you had to convince someone to buy a house that didn't want to, and then that ended well for you or for them, right?
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Like that's not what we do.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: We don't go in and say, Oh, you have no desire to buy a house.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Let me convince you why you're wrong.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: That's the wrong approach.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: You need to be finding people who already want to, they already understand the value of it.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: Maybe they don't think it's possible for them, maybe they don't know about the timing, and so there's some education around you know when they should buy, when they should sell, where, you know, all those things.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: But you're not convincing people to do something they don't want to do.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Anyhow, as you are getting, as you're hearing this this uh episode, if you're watching on YouTube, so by the way, you guys, if if you're not aware, this podcast comes out on all the audio platforms Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, Pocket Casts, all of them.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: Comes out on all the audio platforms every Thursday.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: And we've been doing it every single Thursday for five and a half years, more than five and a half years now.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: It's for you know almost 300 straight episodes.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: But uh when you hear this episode, no, I have my timing all mixed up.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: When you hear this episode, I will be in Virginia Beach.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: I'm doing a lunch and learn in Virginia Beach right now.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: If you're actually, if you're getting this on Wednesday, the reason I brought this up, if you're hearing this on Wednesday, means you're watching us on YouTube.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: The show comes out every Thursday.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: We actually drop it a day earlier on the Massive Agent YouTube channel.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: So make sure you subscribe to the Massive Agent YouTube channel because the full episode comes out every Wednesday, a day before you can find it on all the audio platforms.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: So if you're watching on YouTube on Wednesday, I'm in Virginia Beach tomorrow at doing a lunch and learn.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: Then the following week, the week that episode 300 drops, I'm going to be in Naples, Florida for BAM camp with the rest of the BAM crew, a ton of industry leaders and content creators and influencers.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: It's going to be an incredible time.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: There are still tickets available, believe it or not.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: You can go, you can grab them over at the BAM website, nowbam.com, N-O-W-B-A-M.com.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: Grab those tickets while they last.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: Hopefully they're still there, because I'd feel like an ass if uh I'm directing you to their site and there are no tickets left.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: But last time I heard there were still a few left, you're gonna want to be there.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: So then October 5th, I am speaking at expon in Las Vegas.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: So if you're gonna be at expon, I will be there Thursday the 5th, 9 a.m., I believe is when I'm I'm speaking.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: I guess I guess they think I'm gonna wake people up.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: So that's cool.
- 7:54SPEAKER_00: Or they're like, okay, this guy's gonna be a fucking disaster, so let's make sure we put him in the beginning before everyone is woken up because they're still hungover because it's Vegas.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: Either way, I'm honored to be speaking.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Let's jump into the main topic today.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: Where so many of us agents screw up, especially when it comes to marketing.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: Well, not even just marketing.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: Where we screw up is we think that we need to be confident.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: We need to believe that we're good at something prior to doing it.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'll start recording videos once I get confident enough to do so.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: That's backwards.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: That's absolutely backwards.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: The work comes before the belief.
- 8:39SPEAKER_00: You have to start acting before you can believe you're good at the thing.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: How are you supposed to be how can you believe you're good at something you've never fucking done?
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: But we have this backwards.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Well, I'll start doing that thing once I believe or once I have the confidence.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Backwards.
- 8:55SPEAKER_00: I got an email from Andy Frisella, I get his daily emails, and this was a week or so ago, and I got this email, I saved it, I I've read it a dozen or more times, and I wanted to read it to you guys real quick because I think it's just perfect.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: And this is the whole basis for the show this week.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Nobody is coming to give you permission.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Nobody is coming to invite you into the club.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: Nobody is coming to tell you that you're good enough.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: That's your job.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: Most of the external resistance you think is out there actually comes from your own mind.
- 9:27SPEAKER_00: You'd understand this if you would just go, but most people never do.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: They waste their life hiding from the invisible boogeyman that doesn't exist and waiting on the validation from others that never comes.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: I hope this makes zero sense to you, but I have a feeling it sounds familiar.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: You may not believe in yourself right now, but I guarantee you will if you just put your head down and commit to doing the work.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: The work always comes before the belief.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: Regardless of how you feel about it, regardless what anyone else says or doesn't say, if you keep going, eventually your life will speak for itself.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: They'll believe, and so will you.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: I look back at my journey, content creation with this podcast, with business, with the team that we've built, all of this stuff.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: I uh I certainly didn't believe any of it.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: I just started doing because I thought, how am I ever gonna have the result if I don't start doing the work?
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: And so I just started doing it.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: I in the beginning, the videos I did were just awful.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, the the first podcast episodes we did were awful.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: And by the way, I went back and listened, which was which was really not a good idea, but uh my voice has gotten deeper, so I sound much lore much more manly now, which is fantastic.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: But I sounded like a little fucking child five and a half years ago when we launched the show.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: Uh my voice is a lot higher than it is now, which whatever.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Uh bunch of reasons for that.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Uh but back then I I didn't think I was gonna one day have a podcast that you know was one of the top few in the in the industry.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: I didn't think that I'd be making impact on thousands of agents.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: I didn't think that everything I have today, I I I mean, I hoped that I could have something like it.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: I wanted to be financially successful.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: I didn't really know what that looked like then.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: I just knew that if I did the thing, that if I just did this podcast every single week, that's that good things would happen.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: When I started as an agent, I had no idea how to do anything, but I I knew if I just started to talk to people, if I just started to take appointments, if I just started to show homes, eventually I would learn what I was doing and then I'd believe I was good at it.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: But I certainly didn't start that way.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: Imagine if you if you refused to show a house until you knew all the facts, until you had them all memorized.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: I've actually met agents like this, and maybe you guys have done this, where you feel like you have to memorize everything on the MLS listing form.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Like, what is that?
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: Why would you have to memorize all the shit?
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Like it's just it's right there, just fucking read it.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: Nobody cares if you have the square footage and the taxes memorized.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: They nobody gives a shit.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: I remember an agent one time that he was so it was at an open house.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: I thought it was so strange because it was it was my first year or two.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: I went to an open house on behalf of some s of some of my clients, and this agent was he was so uh he was just he was so erratic.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: He he was what's the word?
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: He was um he was just very on edge, very on edge, very jittery, and just kind of like he almost seemed like a crackhead.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: He wasn't, he was nervous, but I realized he's nervous because I was asking questions that he hadn't memorized yet, and he apologized after every time he had to look at the MLS form, like to find out you know, when the house was built or the square footage or whatever.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: And he was he was he looked embarrassed that he didn't have the square footage memorized.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: And I remember thinking, like, dude, who gives a shit?
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Like, did you give me an accurate number or not?
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: Like, is this what did I care?
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: And I thought that was so strange.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: And and I've met many, many, many other agents like that that felt like they had to have everything memorized.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: Imagine, imagine if you had to feel, if you had to believe in your heart that you were the best agent in your entire market before you would ever sit down and have a listing presentation.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: It sounds insane when I word it like that, because it is.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: But this is what we're doing when we st when we when we're stopping ourselves from doing the thing, when we prevent ourselves from taking action until we're confident enough, until we're feel comfortable in front of the camera enough.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: This this is what I got the messages around.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: You know, I would love to do content, I would love to I know that I need to be recording videos, I know that nobody even knows I exist because I'm not found on social, but I just don't have the confidence yet.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: So I'm I just need to work on my confidence and then I'll start doing it.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm thinking, what the fuck are you talking about?
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: You don't the only way to build confidence as a content creator is to create a shitload of content that all of a sudden one day you're like, oh, I guess I'm pretty good at this.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: And then you're confident.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: You have to stumble and suck your way through it until you build the confidence.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: That's literally the path.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: That's the path to you being a great agent.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: That's the path to you writing great offers, that's the path to you converting uh you know listing presentations into listing agreements.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: You're gonna suck and stumble until you've done it enough to where you believe you're good at it and and you have confidence.
- 14:54SPEAKER_00: So we have it backwards.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Agents have it backwards.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: If you think that you have to be the best or you have to have the most confidence before you start doing the thing, you have it backwards.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: You're dead wrong.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: Start taking action, stumble through it, struggle a little bit.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: Every time it's gonna get a little easier, you're gonna struggle a little less.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: The first time you showed houses was it was probably a nightmare for the clients.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: You were probably a nervous wreck.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: I was.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: But at the same time, I didn't take it too seriously because I just knew I needed I just needed to have answers.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: I just needed to give guidance.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: I didn't need to be perfect, I just had to be there to advise on the stuff that they didn't know or or give them access to information they had no way of accessing otherwise.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: And then when they liked the house, I was the one who needed to write the offer because they didn't know how to do that.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: And so I kind of stumbled my way through that in the beginning as an agent until pretty soon I'd done it enough.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: I'd done enough offers where I'm like, oh shit, I'm actually pretty good, pretty good at this.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: Um, here's how I'm gonna get my offers accepted.
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna call the listing agent, I'm gonna ask what the seller's needs are, I'm going to edify my clients, I'm gonna speak to the strength of their financing, I'm going to just create that personal connection with the listing agent so that when the offer comes through, they know who I am rather than one of these offers that just shows up.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: You guys that list homes.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: Isn't that the most infuriating thing when an offer just it just pops up?
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: You're like, who is this?
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: You have no idea.
- 16:30SPEAKER_00: They didn't text, they didn't call, they didn't email.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: Well, they emailed the offer, but that's it.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: And you're like, uh you know nothing about anything.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: No wonder you don't get your offers accepted.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: I am not the best agent that's ever walked the planet.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Not even close.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: I've never been the big top producer dude.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Like, I've I've sold a few a month on average, you know, when I was selling.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: Nothing crazy.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: But I was confident just after a short period of time that I could get offers accepted quite regularly by doing a few extra things.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: In the beginning, I sure as hell didn't know that, but I had to go through the process to learn that.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: You have to go through the process to become confident.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: The belief comes after the work.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: The work comes before the belief.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: The work comes before the confidence.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: And if you're looking for a different answer, I hate to be the bearer of bad news.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: You're just shit out of luck.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Because that's not how it works.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: You cannot build you cannot get comfortable in front of the camera before you start recording videos.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: You can't you can't master Facebook ads before you start running them.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: What is that?
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: Like uh I'll start playing soccer as soon as I get great at it.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: It it right, it sounds stupid, but this is the attitude that a lot of agents have, especially when it comes to marketing.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: I know that I had it too, but I was also stubborn enough to just start because I'm a I'm a fairly common sense guy.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: I'm not I'm not book smart, I'm not I'm not super intelligent, right?
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I think I'm pretty damn wise in some regards, but like common sense stuff.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, wait, if I want that thing, then I should probably do these things now so I can one day have that thing.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: I didn't stop and say, well, one day when I'm financially secure, then I'll start a business.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: No, I started a business to become financially secure.
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: I it's just crazy.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: It it's just crazy.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: So whoever this episode speaks to is who it was supposed to speak to.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: If this is resonating with you, if you're still listening, you're supposed to hear this.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: The reason that I called an Audible 30 minutes ago and decided to talk about this today is because I felt like it just needs to be heard by certain people.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: This episode, this is not a big like I don't even know what I'm gonna call the episode yet.
- 19:12SPEAKER_00: I don't know, I don't I'm I'll figure out some way to create a hook and to make it clickable and to make it appealing so that people want to listen.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: But I I started with the message because I I feel that it's that important, and then I'm gonna reverse engineer how to how to hook it and how to come up with a good title and all of that.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: Because I have no fucking idea what I'm gonna call this episode yet.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's maybe it'll just be 299.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Uh listen or else, or listen or die.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: I should try that once.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: I bet that would get clicked a lot.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: Um, or do do not listen to this podcast, right?
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: You guys that send emails, if you that's one of the better email subjects you could you could write, actually, is do not open this email.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: Every time a marketer sends me an email that says do not open this email, I open the email.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: If you want someone to open your email, write in the subject line, do not open this email.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: It just works.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: Anyways.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Well, before this goes further off the rails, thank you for listening.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: If you were meant to hear this message, you're still listening.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: Take it to heart because take it from me.
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: Uh a slightly above average agent.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Um I've been able to build a pretty awesome business, a pretty awesome lifestyle, a pretty awesome income, pretty awesome network, an incredible family.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: And I haven't I don't feel like I've been the best at anything.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: Now, I'm starting to believe that I could in certain areas become one of the best, but I certainly didn't start that way.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: I just started taking action and didn't stop, and and that built confidence.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: The person that you're hearing today, the person you're seeing today, this version of me, is completely different than who I was five and a half years ago when I started the show, or 12 years ago when I started in real estate.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: I was a little boy back then, with no confidence, super insecure, but I was stubborn and hungry.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: And if you can be stubborn and hungry and just take the necessary steps, and and here's the hack that I've learned like recently over the last few years, is find someone who's already done the thing you want to do and partner with them.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Join their team, join their brokerage, uh partner with them somehow, join their mastermind, hire them as a coach, whoever it is, whatever it is you're trying to do, if you want to build a certain real estate team, you just have someone who's already built the type of team you want that'll give you the result you want, have them show you how to do it.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: It that's the hack.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: If you can do these few things, you can be wildly successful.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: You can one day have the choice to stop selling homes if you want to, because you have a business that's selling homes on your behalf.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Otherwise, you just own your own job.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: Take the steps necessary, guys.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: If I can do it, you can do it, I promise you.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: Take care, have a great week.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Thanks for listening.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: See you next week for episode 300.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Thanks, guys.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: See that.
