- 0:27[SPEAKER_02]: All right, welcome back to another built-to-grow episode.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna be host today, Randy Engston.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: Doin' to well, Mr. Tim's out of town, by Mr. Zach Columbia.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm here.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_02]: He's here.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_03]: It's so weird, we're sittin' away.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_03]: That's where you sit.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_03]: And then this is where Tim sits, but when we do the healthy living scostle podcast, this is where I sit.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like, I don't know, and just like, chair roulette today.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: We've got a good one for you guys.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: This is something that we'll get into the topic, but this is something that we actually just coached or a springboard coaching clients on.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: Zach's got a great formula for kind of making some decisions within your business regarding the model and kind of guiding you towards making the best decisions for not only the business, but as we called the topic or the episode today, the Holy Trinity.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_02]: Um, one of you kind of just break that down and kind of just explain the whole eternity and then we'll get into, you know, how that impacts the decisions that you're making within the, yeah, the whole, the whole, the whole eternity of your, your, your model, your fitness model.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_03]: Um, is this, it should equally benefit you as the owner.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_03]: the coaches as your staff and part of this training model and then your clients.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_03]: And if you can find the perfect balance in your model and in your systems and how you do everything and you can create something that is beneficial for all three of those parties, then you are going to have a successful
- 2:03[SPEAKER_03]: business, right?
- 2:05[SPEAKER_03]: And so if the pendulum swings too much, one of those directions, everything's going to fall apart.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_03]: And so it's like if you are, and we hear this all the time from Jim owners, right?
- 2:19[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, my clients won't do that.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_03]: And you've been to over backwards for them for so many years.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, well, you're all benefit to the clients.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_03]: But that's hurting you as the owner, and then probably your coaches as well.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_03]: And then it's like if it's all rewarding you, then you're gonna have staff turnover at a higher rate, right?
- 2:39[SPEAKER_03]: You're probably not gonna keep clients.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_03]: If you're forcing things, if you're not considering your coaches and how you set up your systems and creating a gym model that
- 2:55[SPEAKER_03]: keeps coaches that rewards coaches for being a part of your team like in your taking all the benefit is the owner will guess what that's going to damage not only the coaches but also your clients so it all kind of culminates and if you can just find the sweet spot turn then you're going to have a successful business
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like how you broke it down, too, because like you said, I mean, there can't be too much weight in any one of those aren't you know, it's right.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: You have to consider all of those when it comes time to optimizing, making changes to the model.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: Hell, even just looking at the business that you've run and deciding, you know, is this the direction I want to go?
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: Is this the business model that's going to give me longevity for the future?
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: But let's break it down.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about some of the specifics that we've gone through, you know, the situations that you've considered
- 3:40[SPEAKER_02]: You know, weighing this Trinity against some of the decisions in the business and things like that.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_02]: Give us an example.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, what is something that a Jim owner might be going through that?
- 3:50[SPEAKER_02]: This would be a great guide or lens for them to look through.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_03]: So one of the simplest ones.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: And this applies it like all levels of business.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_03]: So, and I have a matrix and we can kind of get into that here.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_03]: But I'll throw out an example of this, which would be
- 4:09[SPEAKER_03]: unlimited training.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_03]: So unlimited training.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_03]: How does that like fit into our, you know, holy, holy training?
- 4:19[SPEAKER_03]: Well, if you cap training sessions, if you have a limited number of training sessions,
- 4:26[SPEAKER_03]: That in turn is then limiting your clients and how often they can do business with you, how they can do business with you.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_03]: So if we handcuff them and we say, okay, you're on a two-time a week membership, well, we know that our clients are not gonna get good results coming and working with us two days a week if that's all that they're doing.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_03]: And so we're kind of pulling away from them, okay?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_03]: Now, why would we only off, why would we,
- 4:55[SPEAKER_03]: hand cuff them and limit them to two times a week.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we would probably do that because our schedule, our availability is not set up to
- 5:10[SPEAKER_03]: fulfill on more than that so you know so we have a two-time a week membership and then and maybe it's also because we don't feel like we could you know sell more because we don't think that they'll buy you know pay more whatever which is obviously gonna negatively impact the owner there but if we have a limited availability on our schedule for our clients that hurts our clients
- 5:33[SPEAKER_03]: And we go over, we shift over to the coaches side of that.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_03]: Well, if you have limited availability for your coaches, then your coaches are going to be part time.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to have a full time schedule for your coaches.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_03]: You can't
- 5:48[SPEAKER_03]: They're not going to be bought into the mission.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_03]: There's, they're going to be bouncing around from your gym to another job to another job.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_03]: You know, and they're not going to, they're not going to be as bought in.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_03]: They're not going to take as good of, you know, care of the clients.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_03]: You can't offer them benefits or perks.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_03]: And that negatively impacts you as the owner.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_03]: So it's like if we have a unlimited training model where our clients can come as often as they want, then we instead of doing
- 6:17[SPEAKER_03]: split schedules where it's like, my clients will only train it, you know, five a.m.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_03]: to ten a.m.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_03]: and then from four to seven, it's like, well, if I open that up, and I allow my clients to train any time that they want as often as they want, benefit for the client, right?
- 6:35[SPEAKER_03]: Now I can bring staff on.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_03]: I can hire, you know, staff, higher quality staff that's career oriented that's going to be with me longer term.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_03]: which is going to alleviate a lot of headaches for you as the owner.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_03]: And then it's like, I can pay that staff.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_03]: We could go back to opportunity cost.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_03]: Yep.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, I could fulfill on this training myself and I could, you know,
- 7:02[SPEAKER_03]: make two hundred dollars an hour or I could buy that hour back pay a team member twenty bucks to fulfill on that I make a hundred eighty but then I can also go push the business forward so it's just like when we're thinking about how we're set up we really need to to think about how it impacts everyone so we can get into the yeah if you have anything to add there you know I think you should know but I'm glad you mentioned the
- 7:30[SPEAKER_02]: The team buy-in, because I'm that could be a whole episode on its own.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to get into some others coming up.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_02]: But that's a conversation I've had a lot lately, is bringing in the part-time coach, bringing in somebody who, because Saturday is so hard to staff, can I just bring the one person in that only works Saturdays?
- 7:46[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, well, how does that impact the rest of the business?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_02]: And just even you touching on there, you did some great examples of like, it's going to limit your potential.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: earnings and things like that as an owner.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_02]: They're buying culture, belief, they're longevity in the role.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: All of that stuff's impacted.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think a lot of it just comes down to making sure that you're putting the right person in the role that's needed, not creating a role for somebody that you want to put in the business.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, let's break it down.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get into some of the matrix that you have.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_03]: So I basically have kind of like a five question matrix to look at your model, look at your systems, how you set everything up, and then determine, you know, hey, are we going to do this?
- 8:31[SPEAKER_03]: Is this balanced and fit into the holy Trinity, right?
- 8:35[SPEAKER_03]: So question number one is,
- 8:40[SPEAKER_03]: does this or will this benefit me as the owner?
- 8:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yes or no?
- 8:44[SPEAKER_03]: It's pretty like black and white.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, is this going to benefit me as the owner?
- 8:50[SPEAKER_03]: And as we kind of move down the matrix and list of questions here, if any of these questions or no, it's not going to benefit you as the owner.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_03]: So it's kind of like, well, that's the most important one.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_03]: You have all the risk is the owner.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_03]: You're, you know, it's your business.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_03]: So ultimately, you should be rewarded for that.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_03]: One thing that really irritates me is when we talk to owners, and it's like, they make less than their staff.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, what are you doing here?
- 9:22[SPEAKER_03]: You own this gym, you've all the risk in the least, and if something, they can just walk away.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_03]: You're not vested at all, but anyway, okay.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_03]: So question number one, right?
- 9:35[SPEAKER_03]: Will this benefit use the owner?
- 9:36[SPEAKER_03]: Yes or no?
- 9:37[SPEAKER_03]: Question number two is will this positively impact my team?
- 9:42[SPEAKER_03]: And that could be yes, no, or neutral, right?
- 9:45[SPEAKER_03]: It could be, it could be a net neutral, right?
- 9:47[SPEAKER_03]: You could say, like this, there's no, no impact here, right?
- 9:52[SPEAKER_03]: No net impact.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_03]: Question number three is will this help me attract clients okay so if it and that could be a yes know or neutral it might help you retain clients it might not help you attract clients yeah but if it doesn't
- 10:09[SPEAKER_03]: help you attract clients, right?
- 10:11[SPEAKER_03]: And it doesn't benefit the team and it's not going to benefit you as the other, okay?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_03]: And then question four is will it help me retain clients?
- 10:18[SPEAKER_03]: So if it helps you retain clients or attract clients, if it benefits your coaching staff,
- 10:24[SPEAKER_03]: it's going to benefit you as the owner.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so if any of those are true, then it's like, okay, we've got something to work with here.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_03]: Now if it's going to benefit, you know, if it's going to help you attract clients, but it's going to hurt the coaching staff, if it's negatively going to impact the coaching staff,
- 10:48[SPEAKER_03]: then it's going to not benefit you as the owner of a potentially, right?
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: Or eventually.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_03]: And a perfect example of that is like running a six-week challenge.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so I remember back in the day when we ran a couple of six-week challenges here, and the first one is like, we didn't really know what was going on, right?
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: We're like, never done this before, okay, let's experience it, let's see what happens, and it just completely opposite of our normal delivery system.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_03]: So everybody's working, you know, over time and trying to like keep up with all of these people and guess what?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_03]: It helped us attract clients.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_03]: We got a hundred people new people in the gym, but this, the negatively impacted the coaching staff.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_03]: And you can say, oh, well, you guys just have to, you know, suck it up for whatever.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_03]: And we did, but guess what?
- 11:40[SPEAKER_03]: It didn't help us retain clients.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_03]: And so it didn't end up benefiting anybody, ultimately.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_03]: And then when we ran another one, I was like,
- 11:53[SPEAKER_03]: I like it.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: This is the way we're just getting over the last time.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we just recovered.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_03]: We just finished therapy from, you know, from that one.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_03]: But to that story here, I shouldn't even tell it, but just let's do it.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_03]: We are in the entertainment business for some degree.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_03]: We ran a six-week challenge here.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_03]: we did a you know as boot camp style classes and you got a room full of I had like fifty people in our gym at like a six p.m.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_03]: boot camp and I was running it and I had the mic you know like even I was like you know instructor and I'm running around and I'm like shouting at people and you know like pushing them and all that and there was this like lady that was in the six week challenge she was like in her seventies
- 12:44[SPEAKER_03]: no business doing a six-week challenge.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_03]: But she was wearing a tennis skirt.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: And we were doing like group ridges on the floor.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_03]: And things were not, she had a wardrobe misfunction.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like walking, pat, like down the aisle, like through the people.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_03]: And I just look over and there's just some things in life you just can't.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_03]: And you know, and you want to talk about negatively impacting your staff.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I'm a scarred.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, okay.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_03]: And then question and then question five is is there a better way?
- 13:25[SPEAKER_03]: And so if you could go through all four of these and say yes is going to benefit me is the owner yes is going to impact my you know positively impact my team or it's you know net zero.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to help me retain clients going to help me you know attract clients step outside the box from that
- 13:45[SPEAKER_03]: and then go, but is there a better way?
- 13:48[SPEAKER_03]: And so this is one of the things we wanted to do with our springboard clients is go, guys, we want you to look at your model and say, you know, for twenty plus years, everybody's been doing the same thing in the fitness industry and struggling with the same challenges and the same, you know,
- 14:12[SPEAKER_03]: kind of like I you know it's really hard to get clients and it's really hard to keep clients and staffings an issue and like all of these things and we just want to go okay is there a better way yeah you know even if even if you don't necessarily you're like okay this is just the way it is and it's like okay but it's not
- 14:32[SPEAKER_03]: great.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's not great.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_03]: It's not this holy Trinity, but it's like it's okay.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, well, just think outside the box for a minute.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_03]: Like step back out of the model, like if you could create the perfect Jim owner life, what would that look like?
- 14:49[SPEAKER_03]: And then, you know, how do we build the systems in the model around?
- 14:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, like just even listening to that, that's, it's a nod for some of my private, right?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, when we look at the history of of of, let's who's called the last ten years, right?
- 15:04[SPEAKER_02]: Group training, the boot camps, all that stuff exploded and things like that.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: while there are, you know, there's handfuls of gyms that do that fairly well.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_02]: Um, it's got its limiting factors, right?
- 15:15[SPEAKER_02]: Client retentions drive won't help you retain clients.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_03]: So even it helps you attract clients.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_03]: It won't help you retain them.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_03]: And that's just a vicious cycle.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_02]: And then you end up, you know, you're marketing and sales position and such running a gym, you know.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: You know, then you're other option, right?
- 15:31[SPEAKER_02]: Do I do one on one?
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: This is a conversation that's going on in the iron circle right now.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_02]: Do I open up more hours or do I fill the gap with a couple one on one clients?
- 15:38[SPEAKER_02]: And while sure, can you collect the revenue today for that one on one client?
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: What happens when you want to open that those sessions up, those times up for semi-private then?
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: and you've got three, you know, you and two coaches are training one on one clients now.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: What do you do?
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: Try to convert them to a semi-private or cancel their membership because you need that bandwidth to go into semi-private.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_02]: So I think a lot of what you're saying to is not just when you're looking, you're taking that step back and determining, is it the best option that you have available?
- 16:10[SPEAKER_02]: Look at it through the lens of what is this going to be in six months?
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: What is this going to be in any year, right?
- 16:16[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_02]: Today, you may have the ability to collect some revenue and get a couple of wins, maybe make a couple hundred dollars more a week.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_02]: It can we do it in a different way that can collect that revenue at a greater rate or even at the same rate, but for the long haul, right?
- 16:32[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, in that situation, I'd rather open up one more session of semi-private than fill that one spot with one
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, one on one client, you know what I mean?
- 16:41[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely him.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: And this was the, you know, we're giving you the.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_03]: you know the what not necessarily the how and with our springboard clients it's yeah you are maybe you have a schedule it's like hey I'm open for three hours in the morning three hours in the afternoon or whatever well how do we then start to expand that how do we grow that how do we you know then start staffing for
- 17:10[SPEAKER_03]: take somebody from a part-time position to more of a full-time structured position and what does our membership need to look like how do we transition members from a eight times a month or you know nine sessions a month or however you're doing that right and and little plug to weekly
- 17:30[SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_03]: But it's how do we do this in phases and strategically start moving toward this?
- 17:39[SPEAKER_03]: You're not going to just do it overnight, right?
- 17:41[SPEAKER_03]: And that's where we come in.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_03]: That's our value is to say, hey, we've done this.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_03]: We've made the mistakes.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_03]: We know what needs to happen and how to systematically implement these things and get to
- 17:54[SPEAKER_03]: that perfect balance of the, you know, gym ownership and coaching and client, you know, and without breaking the current model.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's the big thing is, sometimes you, I don't want to say you have to break it.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes you have to break it in your mind at least, right?
- 18:12[SPEAKER_02]: What you're doing today might not be the thing that's going to take you to the next level.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's the reason that we coach, the reason that we have our coaching program, the reason that we give away all of the information on the podcast is because you have to challenge, as a business owner, and we did a podcast a couple episodes ago about constantly testing.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: And always looking for, you know, where is the puck going type of thing?
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: And not just being said in your ways, you know, you mentioned not being handcuffed by your clients.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_02]: The my least favorite thing to hear from a gym owner is my clients won't.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: because nine times out of ten, they haven't even asked enough people or they haven't tested or tried any of it.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's just their internal limiting belief because that's what the gym owner or the gym has done for so long that they just assume their clients won't even fathom another way, you know what I mean?
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: And until you have some evidence until you've tested and until you've has some conversations, put some people in the seat, do you even actually know or is it just you're limited because of your own self limiting beliefs, you know?
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it's a phenomenal way of looking at the model.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, right now, we've talked about with Tim a lot, like this phase of business ownership is optimization, right?
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's been able to create systems that are scalable, that can be implemented that run like a well-oiled machine.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_02]: We're not grasping at straws.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: We're not trying to throw a little bit something on the schedule or another service offering or another
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: profit center just for incremental type gain all the time, especially through that lens, right?
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: It has to benefit both the client or all three, right?
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: The owner of the client and the training staff in order to be something that's sustainable.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I think, you know, especially, it's real easy to just do it from a business and client standpoint, but when you bring that coaching team in there,
- 20:03[SPEAKER_02]: Especially right now, where retention coaches is extremely difficult, finding people that, if you look at the industry, there's very few personal training gyms that do create a career oriented, structured schedule, all of those types of things.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't exist and it's the same thing as
- 20:25[SPEAKER_03]: attracting clients same same concept right so if if I just say hey we offer fitness nutrition and accountability there's nothing that differentiates me that's going to help me attract clients right or retain clients same exact thing for your staff there's nothing there that's going to help you attract
- 20:48[SPEAKER_03]: quality career oriented coaches.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_03]: If you do the same thing and offer the same thing as everybody else.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I can, you know, come on in.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_03]: We've got three hours of clients for you.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_03]: And then you got to go get the rest on your own.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_03]: And that's not, that's not going to benefit you as the owner.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was really, yeah, everything else I've built it.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_02]: You know, in that way.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: And it does.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, I'm glad we had this conversation.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: Does anything else you want to add to that or, you know, clean up or anything.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_03]: One of the benefits, which usually we don't say this, because we want the owner to be the owner.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_03]: But most owners are still on the training floor.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_03]: They're still in the day-to-day operations.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_03]: And one of the benefits that you have is you get to see and you understand
- 21:47[SPEAKER_03]: the gap between fitness and business.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_03]: You're seeing both ends of that.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_03]: And I always train my directors, fitness directors, your job as the director is to bridge the gap between fitness and business.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_03]: You have to understand both worlds.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_03]: What works in one doesn't always work in the other, but how do we merge the two and blend them together?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_03]: And so, you know, if you're just in that owner seat and you've been removed from the training for a long period of time, you need someone like myself who is going to bridge that gap for you.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_03]: But if you're an owner that's sitting in that trainer seat still and you're still face to face with clients,
- 22:29[SPEAKER_03]: you have a little bit better perspective of that holy Trinity because you're in that owner's seat, you're in that coach seat, and then your face to face more often with the clients.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_03]: So it is actually beneficial for you.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_03]: But even with all that said, if you don't know what you don't know, right?
- 22:54[SPEAKER_03]: And so when you come into a coaching program like Springboard,
- 23:00[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the results speak for themselves, right?
- 23:02[SPEAKER_03]: Like the gyms that go and execute on what we tell them, they just blow up.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_03]: They explode in the ones that want to hold on to those old traditions and the old models, they just struggle.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_03]: It takes them a little bit longer.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_03]: and then they do it finally do it and they're like, wow, should it?
- 23:25[SPEAKER_02]: Should have done this long ago.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_03]: Should have done that a long time ago, but yeah.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_02]: Well, if you guys listening, Zach and I are actually handling the pre-con this year for our grow summit.
