They're just getting it all today. Clint: Yeah. the audio is still fine. So ⁓ yes. In-person participant 1: Are you reconnected? Yes. You just wanted to do like ⁓ Jeopardy. ⁓ Anyway, ⁓ we're looking extra hot today 'cause because we just finished having a yard sale. Successful yard sale. Yeah, very successful. And go ahead, sir, I can tell you wanna talk. I'll get some water. Clint: Jeopardy. Anyway, ⁓ We just finished having a yard sale. Successful yard sale. Well you want to talk. Well, no, I was just gonna say we you know, w for those of you who have been following us, selling the house, moving to Kauai, all the things, and time has a way of moving really, really fast and we have a lot of stuff going on. So this was a weekend, one of two weekends basically before the yeah, before we move. And on Thursday morning we woke up and we were like In-person participant 1: We have a lot of stuff going on, so this was a weekend, one of two weekends basically before we move. Yeah, before we move. And on Thursday morning we woke up Clint: Are we really gonna have a fucking yard sale? And then realized, yes, we are because we have to. In-person participant 1: And then realized are because we have to. Yeah, we checked the calendar and it was like, well, we have one free weekend from this point until halfway through July. Yeah. ⁓ and we are moving ⁓ the first week of August. So yerked out all of the stuff. Here's the cool thing. We started doing we've been purging for years, and if you've been listening, you know this. We Clint: this point until halfway through July. Yeah. ⁓ and we So yerked out all of the stuff. Here's the cool thing. We started doing we've been purging for years and if you've been listening, you know. We I've been wanting to move for a really long time. And so I knew that I was going to move somewhere. So we just started stacking stuff after we took five hundred loads to donation and dump and we realized we should probably have a yard sale. We started stacking it in the tiny house on our property. In-person participant 1: I've been wanting to move for a really long time. And so I knew that I was going to move somewhere. So we just started stacking stuff after we took five hundred loads to donation and dump and we realized we should probably have a yard sale. We started stacking it in the tiny house on our property. And so it was pretty easy to move it all out, right? On Thursday and then just price it. But holy yard sale. Like Clint: And so it was pretty easy to move it all out, right? Thursday. And then just price it. But holy yard sale. Like, I haven't yard saled in a very long time. I haven't gone to a yard sale in a long time and I haven't In-person participant 1: I haven't yard saled in a very long time. I haven't gone to a yard sale in a long time. And I haven't had a yard sale since I moved to Washington State. And it's a thing. And people are well, ninety-nine point nine percent of the people were absolutely love lovely. But you know, it's a ⁓ I don't want to call it a cult. What a a specialty group of people. Sure. Right? I don't think it's a cult. Clint: had a yard sale since I moved to Washington State. Mm-hmm. And it's a thing. And people are well, ninety nine point nine percent of the people were absolutely love lovely. But you know, it's a ⁓ I don't want to call it a cult. What a a specialty group of people. Sure. Right? I don't think or there's no ⁓ leader. Yeah. Yeah. Profit. Maybe. Yeah. In-person participant 1: There's no fall or there's no ⁓ leader. Yeah. Yeah. Prophet. Maybe. Yeah, I know, right. What do we know? Clint: Well there's probably a documentary on Netflix. ⁓ it's definitely a ⁓ unique group of people that are very interested in yard sailing. Yeah. Yeah. Which, you know, is fantastic because it means we we got rid we got rid of a bunch of stuff that we needed to depart with. And you know, I was really excited because I ⁓ I don't know that I've ever had a yard sale. In-person participant 1: ⁓ wouldn't that be great? It's definitely a ⁓ unique Yeah. Yeah. Which, you know, is fantastic because it means we we got ri we got rid of a bunch of stuff. Yeah. That we needed to depart with. And you know, I was really excited because I ⁓ I don't know that I've ever had a yard sale. ⁓ really? I've been to a couple but I don't think I've ever that I can recall. I don't think I've ever had a yard sale. Interesting. And you know, it's pretty cool for Clint: I've been to a couple, but I don't think I've ever that I can recall. I don't think I've ever had a yard sale. And you know, it's pretty cool for somebody else to find stuff that you're clearly ready to let go of. And you know, we I think we priced stuff pretty price to sell, price to move stuff. So people got some pretty good deals and they were really excited. In-person participant 1: somebody else to find stuff that you're clearly ready to let go of. Mm-hmm. And, you know, we ⁓ I think we priced stuff pretty price to sell. Yeah. Price to move stuff. So people got some pretty good deals. Yep. And they were really excited. And so that that was really fun for me to see so many people, you know, they get some random ⁓ I've been looking around for a whatever. And I got you know, I got it. Clint: And so that that was really fun for me to see so many people, you know, they get some random, ⁓ I've been looking around for ⁓ whatever. And I got, you know, I got it. And it's three bucks and new, it's fifty bucks, you know. So so that was r it was actually really fun. And ⁓ we had one little tiny incident that worked itself out pretty quick. And I accidentally sold something that was already sold, but that seems like it worked itself out. And other than that, it was it was great. And I appreciated In-person participant 1: Yeah. It's three bucks and new it's fifty bucks, you know. So so that was r it was actually really fun. And we had one little tiny incident that worked itself out pretty quick. And I accidentally sold something that was already sold, but that seems like it worked itself out. Yeah. Other than that it was It was great and I appreciated ⁓ well a couple of things. I I appreciated that most people weren't super chatty. Yeah. I was I was a little nervous about having to tell my life story to people over and over and over again. ⁓ and also, you know, we we still have the the Clint: ⁓ well, a couple things. I I appreciated that most people weren't super chatty. You know, I was I was a little nervous about having to tell my life story to people over and over and over again. and also, you know, we we still have the the ⁓ for sale sign out ⁓ at the end of the driveway. So everybody drove by that. And you know, it was for the house. For the house, yeah. And In-person participant 1: for sale sign out at at the end of the driveway. So everybody drove by that and you know for the house. For the house, yeah. And so a lot of people, you know, were like, hey, are you moving? Where are you going? And you know, it that didn't get old. No. Because it every time it was like I kinda got got getty chicken skin, as John likes to say. ⁓ yeah, about saying that we're moving to Kauai. Yeah. And everyone was like, ⁓ yeah. Clint: So a lot of people, you know, were like, Hey, are you moving? Where are you going? And, you know, it that didn't get old for me because it every time it was like I kinda got got chicken skin, as Johnna likes to say. yeah, about saying that we're moving to Kawaii. In-person participant 1: Yeah. Yeah, good for you. Go. It was lovely. So yeah, that part is done. I doubt we'll have another yard sale. ⁓ but we'll see. But I doubt it. And now I don't think we've made the announcement that the house is in contract. After eight days, ⁓ the house is in contract, so that's moving forward. We are waiting to hear if we got our rental on Kawhi. Clint: Yeah. It was lovely. ⁓ sale ⁓ but we'll see but I doubt it. And now I don't think we've made the announcement. Yeah. After eight days, ⁓ the house is in contract, so that's moving forward. We are waiting to hear if we got In-person participant 1: ⁓ this evening or tomorrow, Clint: evening or tomorrow ⁓ we should hearing. The gym is still wavering. That's still wavering. We have some people that are interested. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we will know for sure because if we don't, then we're starting to liquidate gym equipment because that's just another that'll be a yard sale. That will be. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe we're ⁓ a couple things down, yeah. Exactly. ⁓ In-person participant 1: we should be hearing. The gym is still wavering. That's still wavering. We have some people that are interested. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we will know for sure because if we don't, then we're starting to liquidate gym equipment because that's just another that'll be a yard sale. That will be. Maybe we yeah. Yeah. Maybe we yerk some more stuff down. Yeah, exactly. ⁓ So anyway, that was basically it, really. Clint: Basically it In-person participant 1: I mean, just a yard sale and a very odd week and our house selling. So if you guys remember when we talked about moving to Kawaii or into a camper and traveling or whatever, you know, we talked about how things had to be ⁓ smooth, right? They had to happen. We weren't gonna force anything. Clint: a yard sale and a very odd week and our house selling. So if you guys remember when we talked about moving to Kauai or into a camper you know, we talked about how things had to be smooth, right? They had to happen. We weren't gonna force anything. And seemingly everything has gone really smooth and fast. And I kinda had like a little freakout this week about that because even though I said In-person participant 1: And seemingly everything has gone really smooth and fast. And I kinda had like a little freak out this week about that because even though I said I need things to go smoothly because I'm looking for any roadblock, which means no, we're not supposed to go, now things are going so fast and I was like kind of malfunctioning. Uh-huh. ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Like Clint: I need things to go smoothly because I'm looking for any roadblock, which means no, we're not supposed to go. Now things are going so fast. And I was like Uhhuh. You yeah. Yeah. I think that's a fair way to put it. Yeah, I was like if this is going so fast and In-person participant 1: Yeah, I was like, if this is going so fast and ⁓ and I and then, you know, my other self was like, Yeah, no shit. This is what you're supposed to do. And this was the, you know, qualifications of if this was meant to be, it was gonna go fast. And I just had a hard time holding space for things going smooth. And it really caused me to pause and go, Why do I self sabbat? It was really like a Clint: self was like, yeah, no shit, this is what you're supposed to do and this was the you know, qualifications of if this was meant to be, it was gonna go fast, and I just had a hard time holding space for things going smooth and it really caused me to pause and go, why It was really a look in the mirror situation. You know, I don't think it's anything that's super unique though. I I think a you know, a lot of people live with the anticipation, I guess, of what's gonna go wrong. Surely there's something that's gonna go wrong. You know, 'cause that's just kinda how people w what what a lot of people's experiences are. You know, and some for some people not. And those people are like, How does it just seem like everything always falls into place for you. In-person participant 1: look in the mirror type situation. You know, I don't think it's anything that's super unique though. I I think a you know, a lot of people live with the anticipation, I guess, of what's gonna go wrong. Surely there's something that's gonna go wrong. You know, 'cause that's just kinda how people what what a lot of people's experiences are. And some for some people not. And those people are like, how does it just seem like everything always falls into place for you. But if it doesn't Clint: I I think a you know, a lot of live with ⁓ the anticipation, I guess, of what's gonna go wrong. ⁓ Surely there's something that's gonna go wrong. those people are How does it just seem like everything always falls place for you. In-person participant 1: I I think a you know, a lot of people live with the anticipation, I guess, of what's gonna go wrong. ⁓ Surely there's something that's gonna go wrong. And those people are like, how does it just like everything always falls into place for you. But if it doesn't Clint: But if it doesn't in a situation where it does, it's a little unnerving. But if it doesn't in a situation where it does, it's a little unnerving. I know. It causes dysregulation in the nervous system because you're so used to being in fight or flight or just having to pivot. Like I've mastered the art of pivoting constantly and to not have to do that in this situation is odd. In-person participant 1: in a situation where it does, it's a little unnerving. in a situation where it does, it's a little unnerving. I know. It causes dysregulation in the nervous system because you're so used to being in fight or flight or just having to pivot. Like I've mastered the art of pivoting constantly and to not have to do that in this situation is odd. It Clint: It i it really is. I don't know what else to say. It's just been odd and really nice when I have like regulated moments, right? Where I'm just like, ⁓ my goodness, this is really happening. I'm so excited that I finally found what I'm supposed to be doing. Right? But in the other sense it's like, What? This is way too easy. How can I fuck this up? It's In-person participant 1: I don't know what else to say. It's just been odd and really nice when I have like regulated moments, right, where I'm just like, ⁓ my goodness, this is really happening. I'm so excited that I finally found what I'm supposed to be doing. Right? But in the other sense it's like, What? This is way too easy. How can I fuck this up? It's my Clint: My re what's the requalifying, my requalifying of thoughts has just been, and w I think we mentioned it on the podcast before, but we've certainly been talking about it amongst ourselves, is just the idea there's been so many clear indicators that we are on the right track that if something comes up, for example, with the house that we're we're trying to get in Kauai. In-person participant 1: Re what's the re-qualifying. My re-qualifying of thoughts has just been, and w I think we mentioned it on the podcast before, but we've certainly been talking about it amongst ourselves, is just the idea there's been so many clear indicators that we are on the right track, that if something comes up, for example with the house that we're we're trying to get in Kauai. Mm. If something you know, if they don't pick us, 'cause you know, they could pick somebody else. Yeah. There's whatever. ⁓ there's just there's something better. Right. Yeah. Which which is a weird feeling for me. It's I've never lived with that ever. It's always been, okay, how is this gonna go to shit? And prove to me that ⁓ I'm making bad decisions and I shouldn't be doing this. Totally. Clint: If something, you know, if they don't pick us, because, you know, they could pick somebody else and there's whatever. ⁓ there's just there's something better. Right. Which which is a weird feeling for me. It's I've never lived with that ever. It's always been, okay, how is this gonna go to shit and prove to me that ⁓ I'm making bad decisions and I shouldn't be doing this. Totally. And it's just it's it's not that and it's been enough not that. In-person participant 1: And it's just it's it's not that and it's been enough not that I don't think, you know, if something falls through, whatever, I don't think that's gonna dissuade me. Yeah, I don't think so either for myself. Now, you know, check back on the next podcast and we'll see. I really wanna be honest, guys, about how, you know, things like this affect you. I could sit here and be like, ⁓ my gosh, this is so great, but Clint: that I don't think you know, if something falls through, whatever, I don't think that's gonna dissuade me. Okay. ⁓ In-person participant 1: The truth is, is that, you know, it's not. It's hard to move. I mean, yes, it's great. It's very like chaotic and you know, so when things are falling into place, I tend to get a little wonky. But I can honestly say of course I'm not in it right now, but I think I can honestly say that if we don't get this first place, like I'm okay. I know Clint: The truth is is that, you know, it's not. It's hard to move. I mean, yes, it's great, it's very like chaotic and you know, so when things are falling into place I tend to get a little wonky. But I can honestly say of course I'm not in it right now. But I think I can honestly say that if we don't get this first place, like I'm okay. I know In-person participant 1: I know that I'm not supposed to be here. Mm-hmm. Right? That's what I know for sure because all I feel like I'm being pushed out. Which is really nice. I'm not sad about that at all. It's No, it's super convenient. Yeah. Clint: I know that I'm not supposed to be here. Mm-hmm. Right? That's what I know for sure. Because all I feel like I'm being pushed out. Yeah. Which is really nice. Yeah. I'm not sad about that at all. No, it's super convenient to have zero indicators that we should be that we should be staying. Right. And you know what's interesting is I overheard conversations of people just chatting at the yard sale talk about how their house has been sitting on the market forever. In-person participant 1: Right. And you know what's interesting is I overheard conversations of people just chatting at the yard sale talk about how their house has been sitting on the market forever and it and it just hasn't moved and how this is a weird market and blah. And I'm like, ⁓ my gosh, eight days. Eight days. And it was done. Right. So I'm like, okay, finally I'm getting the green light to leave here. And Clint: And it just hasn't moved, and all this is a weird market, and blah, and I'm like, ⁓ my gosh, eight days, eight days, and it was done, right? So I'm like, okay, finally I'm getting the green light to leave here. And there is a relief in my soul that just is like, okay, I've learned everything that I need to learn here. Now I'm gonna move on and learn. In-person participant 1: There is a relief in my soul that just is like, okay, I've learned everything that I need to learn here. Now I'm gonna move on and learn new things. ⁓ but this chapter is done. Yeah. And that is really exciting for me. Yes, it is. Yeah. Are you taking a drink? Yeah. So I didn't know you were just wrapping that thought up. I was, so now you can go. ⁓ Clint: New things. ⁓ but this chapter is done. Yeah. And that is really exciting. Yes, it is. Yeah. Yeah, sorry, I know you were just wrapping that thought up, but I had a tickle in my throat. It anything else around the the yard sale. The yard sale slash life updates. I mean it just In-person participant 1: Anything else around the the yard sale sale slash life updates. I mean it just it feels like it it updates multiple times a day. It does. But now you guys know next weekend we have a senior graduating. So now this week is just fully stepping into that and that's exciting. And she has already moved to the west side with her sister. Clint: It feels like it it updates multiple times a day. It does. But now you guys know next weekend we have a senior graduating. So now this week is just fully stepping into that and that's exciting. And she has already moved to the west side with her sister and she absolutely loves it there. And so she's come back to do the whole graduation thing. And then we send her off. In-person participant 1: And she absolutely loves it there. And so she's come back to do the whole graduation thing. And then we send her off. It it is so busy. When I think about just what the last couple of months have been and what the next couple of months have been or are going to be. It's just chaotic. What we did get asked, ⁓ and just comments made a lot today that I just warmed my heart was Clint: It it is so busy. When I think about just what the last couple of months have been and what the next couple of months have been or are going to be. Yeah. It's just chaotic. What we did get asked ⁓ and just comments made a lot today that I just warmed my heart was I hope you guys keep doing what you're doing. I hope you keep podcasting, you know, post pictures, do all the things. That is the plan. Like the plan is for elevated life to continue because we want to share all of our journey completely authentic, not blowing smoke up your ass. In-person participant 1: I hope you guys keep doing what you're doing. I hope you keep podcasting. You know, post pictures, do all the things. That is the plan. Like the plan is for elevated life to continue because we want to share all of our journey completely authentic, not blowing smoke up your ass, ⁓ of what it's like to do what we're doing. And and really how it applies to ⁓ to what we talk about all the time. Clint: ⁓ of what it's like to do what we're doing. And and really how it applies to to what we talk about all the time. You know, not just here's our weekly update, you know, live vicariously through us. I'm I'm not interested in doing that. We'll do that some, you know, but but really how it ties into whatever In-person participant 1: Yeah. You know, not just here's our weekly update. Yeah. Vicariously through us. I'm I'm not interested in doing that. Well that's some, you know, but but really how it ties into whatever you know, whatever the the kind of the different main themes that we that we touch on. Yeah. But just being able to to bring some real life situations into it that are gonna be totally different than than what we've had over the last year. But at the same time, you know. Clint: You know, whatever are the the kind of the different main themes that we that we touch on. But just being able to to bring some real life situations into it that are gonna be totally different than than what we've had over the last year. But at the same time, you know, everything is kinda the same everywhere. I mean it's still just people and places and situations and whatever. You know. In-person participant 1: is kind of the same everywhere. I mean it's still just right people and places and situations and whatever. You know, with this move and preparing for it and getting closed doors and knowing we're supposed to leave, the really interesting and kind of exciting part, and I just want to give us a pat on the back because, you know, as humans we can be really frickin' hard on ourselves. I'm really impressed how we've been able to Clint: getting closed doors and knowing we're supposed to leave, the really interesting and kind of exciting part, and I just want to give us a pat on the back because you know as humans we can be really frickin' hard on ourselves. I'm really impressed how we've been able to embody or walk out what the best that we can to our capacity what we talk about on elevated life, right? In-person participant 1: embody or walk out what the best that we can to our capacity what we talk about on elevated life, right? Like me, knowing like, ⁓ my gosh, everything's going great. This is weird for me. And having to sit with that and let it work through me and then ask myself really tough questions, right? So I'm I'm Clint: like me, knowing like, ⁓ my gosh, everything's going great, this is weird for me. And having to sit with that and let it work through me and then ask myself really tough questions, right? So I'm I'm I mean, although it's been tough and the day that I had to sit and do that was like literally beyond rough. but I was able to ask myself some some good questions. In-person participant 1: I mean, although it's been tough and the day that I had to sit and do that was like literally beyond rough. ⁓ but I was able to ask myself some some good questions. Yeah. I think it's really been for specific Clint: I think it's really been for specifically for what you're talking about, and then I guess in general too, it's it's been a good testament to the importance of of building those muscles. You know, that we've been doing over I mean, a a long time, but then the last couple of years and, you know, whatever time frame you wanna say. But because if you if you haven't been building those muscles, then all of a sudden you're faced with, you know, some some sort of big In-person participant 1: it's it's been a good testament to the importance of of building those muscles. ⁓ my gosh. That we've been doing over I mean, a a long time, but then the last couple years. Yeah. You know, whatever time frame you wanna say. But because if you if you haven't been building those muscles, then all of a sudden you're faced with, you know, some some sort of big situation or multiple situations at the same time. Yeah. Clint: situation or multiple situations at the same time then you know you're just gonna you're you're not gonna have the capacity to be able to to handle those things. You know you always know who you really are when you're squeezed. Right? When you're pushed up against the wall. You can talk all the healing talk, you can talk all the bullshit but where the rubber meets the road In-person participant 1: then you know you're just gonna you're you're not gonna have the capacity to be able to handle things. You know, you always know who you really are when you're squeezed. Mm-hmm. Right? When you're pushed up against the wall. You can talk all the healing talk, you can talk all the bullshit, but where the rubber meets the road is where shit gets real in your life. You're pushed up against the wall, you're squeezed, you're triggered, you're whatever. Clint: is where shit gets real in your life, you're pushed up against the wall, you're squeezed, you're triggered, you're whatever, and what are you gonna do in those moments? Right? That's really the tell. Yeah, you're gonna pull out the generator and make coffee outside. In-person participant 1: And what are you gonna do in those moments? Right? That's really the tell. Yeah, you're gonna pull out the generator and make coffee out Clint: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. He just wants to call me out. So we had a huge storm No I don't think. Yeah you do and it's okay. We had a huge storm. Power woke up Friday morning, didn't have any power ⁓ and In-person participant 1: of it. ⁓ yeah. Yeah. Let's talk about that. He just to call me So we had a huge storm this last week. Yeah, do, and it's okay. We had a huge storm. Power woke up Friday morning, didn't have any power. ⁓ And Jonna has issues. We already know that. This is called the you know, boo hoo Jonna podcast. Clint: Jonna has issues. We already know that. This is called the, you know, boohoo Jonna podcast. In-person participant 1: But one of the issues is coffee in the morning. I have to have it. Like it is a thing. So, you know, we didn't have power. We ended up starting the generator. And I wasn't, I was just eye on the prize. I was very Capricorn. Like this is what needs to be done. There is a task and I'm gonna get it done because if I don't have coffee before I have to teach an exercise class at 8 30, it is not going to be ⁓ good. But we got it done. Clint: But one of the issues is coffee in the morning. Have to have it. Like it is a thing. So, you know, we didn't have power. We ended up starting the generator and I wasn't I was just eye on the prize. I was very Capricorn. Like this is what needs to be done. We got it In-person participant 1: We got it done with out without even Clint: It done without without even really touching on like any sort of issue or anything. You know, so again, that's kind of what made me think of it with the idea of of really working those muscles or or ⁓ mastering the tools that you have in moments that aren't quite as high stress and in the whole scheme of life and of the last several months and everything. Clint: ⁓ not having power in the morning wasn't really that high stress compared to other things. Yeah, a hundred percent. I thought it was it was a good testament to what you're talking about with walking out the stuff that we talk about all the time. Clint: the stuff that we talk about all the time in big moments and in small moments. Cause that's a that's a great way to have a small moment become a big moment is if you haven't really worked through those tools. In-person participant 1: in big moments and in small moments. For sure. That's a great way to have a small moment become a big moment. ⁓ is if you haven't really worked through those tools. Clint: been a total bitch and had to circle back and be like, I'm sorry for acting like a four year old when I didn't get my coffee. I had to keep myself in check. Like you are your body language is very like abrasive or whatever. but I didn't end up having to apologize for being an asshole. Because you weren't, just to be clear, you were not an asshole. Okay, I'm glad. So that in the past In-person participant 1: when I didn't get my coffee, I had to keep myself in check. And I would say either way, you know, I I could have just absolutely called you out too and said, you know, calm the fuck down, w just relax you know, whatever, whatever those things are. which I very easily could have done in the past as well. So yeah, it was great. Yeah, so it's ⁓ really this week with the full blue moon. In-person participant 1: I can throw a fit. Not just insane for us, insane for everyone that we've known, on top of everything that's going on with the move, I feel like ⁓ wormhole. It's just been like all week wormhole. But we pushed through and we made it. Tonight's the full moon. I'm hoping we sleep tonight. That'd be great.
