In this finale of the Lion King series, we follow Simba from his return to the desolate Pride Lands all the way through his confrontation with Scar, the final battle, and the restoration of the kingdom.
After remembering who he is, Simba returns home — but the Pride Lands do not immediately reflect his internal restoration. The kingdom is still gray, barren, and mostly lifeless. This episode explores the truth that we often restore internally before the external world catches up.
Scar’s final move is to reactivate Simba’s old guilt…
