And so I've been looking at and, and reading the kinds of things

that we wrote as newsworthy and important to us when we were

So I've been really kind of in a pubescent mindset of myself, you

know, remembering who I was. And in fact, just today, she

might be watching right now. She's awesome.

The girl that I just, I fell in love with in the 6th grade.

We, we even had a little like ceremony out on the playground.

We committed ourselves to one another and that lasted for

about two minutes. But anyway, we recently

connected and we've been talking about the old days, right?

And this is the age that Celeste was that we're talking about.

She was in the Inland Empire, Riverside County, Lake Elsinore.

The idea of somebody as important and glamorous to an

in the upscale Hollywood Hills neighborhood where the artist,

whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, had rented A

multimillion dollar home in the hills under the iconic Hollywood

sign. Her body was found a day after

what would have been her 15th birthday.

Between then and March 2024, he was photographed getting out of

a black Tesla near the 7th graders home.

or have any children because someone took that away from her.

When a person's life is cut short, it's taken away,

loved ones, but you're snatching their future possible

You're, you're killing thousands, maybe millions of

people when you take one life. And I love that, Miss Cortez

thought, thought of as a rebellious kid or a runaway.

She was just, she was just a young kid who was lured out by

Monday following a month long investigation.

Mr. Burke, 21, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree murder.

The LA District Attorney added special circumstances to the

charge, which makes the sentence eligible for the DP.

Prosecutors say that he had a well, this is YouTube.

relationship with the young girl because it's not a relationship,

young girl and killed her after she threatened to expose it.

He allegedly engaged in continuous essay of Celeste

starting in September 2023 until September 2024, according to the

criminal complaint. Now Blair Burke, one of Mr.

Burke's attorneys, wrote in a statement on Monday.

Quote, the actual evidence in this case will show that David

Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not

the cause of her death. We will vigorously defend

David's innocence. And I know some of you disagree

with my position on this, but I am grateful for Miss Burke and

her legal team for for defending Mr. Burke spelled differently,

Most news coverage of the cases focused on the budding musical
