- 0:02Hey there. A couple weeks ago I read in a
- 0:05TMZ report that the man who owned the house that was being
- 0:09leased on behalf of singer David in the Hollywood Hills had hired
- 0:16an in a private investigator to look into what had happened at
- 0:20his house, which I thought at the time was pretty stupid.
- 0:25I thought it was pretty ridiculous.
- 0:27I mean, where are we going to get?
- 0:28But we got some stuff and we're going to go over it here in just
- 0:33a minute. Stick with me.
- 0:47This video contains mature themes and discussions intended
- 0:50only for adult audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
- 0:56Hello and welcome back to the channel.
- 0:57Today we are talking about the the murder, let's call it the
- 1:03death. We don't know if it's a murder
- 1:05yet. I think it is.
- 1:07I mean, the, the problem here is we don't have answers, right?
- 1:11But the murder of 14 year old Celeste Rivas, Rivas Hernandez,
- 1:19whose body that was allegedly dismembered was found in the
- 1:27trunk of a Tesla after it had been towed from nearby the house
- 1:34that it was being leased for. Singer David.
- 1:39She had been missing. It was the third time that she
- 1:42had run away in 2024. But yeah, her body was
- 1:48discovered in a Hollywood tow lot after the vehicle had gotten
- 1:53towed. So I think actually before we
- 1:57get into it, where are we? Where are we coming from
- 1:59tonight? I want to get us started with
- 2:01the with the comments from the live Bulldog Mom live from
- 2:06British Columbia, Canada. Very glad M bat finally caught
- 2:11alive for the first time. Thank you very much.
- 2:13I I'm feeling the love. So, yeah, tell me where you're
- 2:16from and, and where you're tuning in from so that I can
- 2:20give you a shout out to you wherever you are.
- 2:24OK, so let's not bury the lead. Basically, what happened here is
- 2:30on Friday, and I know I'm not the first to report on this, On
- 2:34Friday, the person who had been hired as a private investigator
- 2:41made an appearance on Venipolitan.
- 2:47And man, I'm having a hard time with my pronunciation.
- 2:51Venipolitan and I have hodgepodge together, I think 3
- 2:58separate clips from his appearance on Vinny's show
- 3:02October 24th. By the way, do you know who else
- 3:05was on Vinny's show? It was me last night.
- 3:10Hope you guys hope you guys caught that.
- 3:13What do we got here? We've got Raleigh, NC, we've got
- 3:19St. Clair, MI, we've got Texas, we
- 3:22got Mass, we got Oregon. Karina from Sweden.
- 3:28Karina I Some of my favorite memories of business travel are
- 3:33in Sweden. I I, I wouldn't say I've spent a
- 3:37lot of time in Sweden, but I've been 5 or 6 times and I love it
- 3:42all. All Stockholm, but well, not all
- 3:48because one time I drove from Munich all the way to Stockholm,
- 3:50so that that meant that I was spending quite a bit of time in
- 3:54Sweden outside of Stockholm. But boy, what a beautiful,
- 3:59beautiful place. That whole archipelago is just
- 4:01amazing. Ontario is in the house with
- 4:05Samantha. Who's your, who's your Steph?
- 4:07No question where Steph is from Indiana.
- 4:10DM is also from Indiana. We've got Pittsburgh, Deb 412
- 4:13representing the 412, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
- 4:18We've got Nancy living. Oh, hold on, Susie Echo.
- 4:22You know, you know Josa. You know Josa from corporate
- 4:25Corpus Christi. We've got Nancy from Florida,
- 4:29but from Mass. Yeah.
- 4:31We've we got Wisconsin in the house.
- 4:33We got Moose Jos, Saskatchewan. Moose Jos.
- 4:37Is that a real place? Pretty awesome.
- 4:40Colorado, Indiana. So glad.
- 4:45Mooney, of course, Virginia in the house we got.
- 4:48We got a lot of you. Thanks for being here.
- 4:50OK. Hey, Speaking of being on
- 4:52Venipolitan, actually, I've got two things before we get into
- 4:55this video. Number one, I want to show you
- 4:58guys. I want to show you over on the
- 5:01fish tank. Let's bring it up right here.
- 5:05This is the fish tank. This is where we hang out on
- 5:07Facebook together. There's always an open
- 5:09invitation to come join us, but today is a very special day in
- 5:14the fish household because today is the date of birth, the
- 5:19anniversary of the date of birth of my one and only my snuggly
- 5:23bear, Kimberly, who for 25 days was a younger woman than I am a
- 5:30man. But now we are the same age once
- 5:34again. We are both 50 years old.
- 5:36Happy birthday to the love of my life.
- 5:38I cannot tell you how blessed slash lucky slash fortunate
- 5:45slash so many things because she walked into that room almost 26
- 5:53years ago. Actually, it was over 26 years
- 5:55ago. My goodness, it would have been
- 5:58the first weekend of July 1999 was the limit.
- 6:04I I can get it for you guys. I can get it for you.
- 6:07The date, I want to say it was the 3rd of July, but let's go
- 6:15back in time, shall we? To 1999.
- 6:20I got to scroll way back. Oh my goodness, I got to scroll
- 6:24way back. Ha, 1999.
- 6:29July the first. It was July 4th.
- 6:34July the 4th, 1999, the day that that woman right there walked
- 6:41into my life. The next day I saw her for the
- 6:46second time and she was holding the hand of another young man.
- 6:51That woman had a boyfriend. But you know what I had learned?
- 6:54I learned that wasn't going to let, I wasn't going to let that
- 6:57stop me. I wasn't going to let that stop
- 7:00me. And boy, I got talked into it.
- 7:04I, I shouldn't take all the credit.
- 7:06I got talked into it by a mutual friend, invited her over to the
- 7:11apartment on Tuesday. That would have been July 6th.
- 7:18And the rest they say is history.
- 7:21Oh my goodness, best ever. So that's number one.
- 7:24Number two I want to tell you about is that the I was on the
- 7:31Neapolitan investigates last night and they are going to
- 7:36premiere that episode on YouTube here in about I think about 30
- 7:41minutes, maybe like 15 minutes. So you guys will be able to see
- 7:44it. And over in the fish tank where
- 7:48this Beautiful Creatures picture has been posted that that's at
- 7:51Livreia Lello in Porto, Portugal.
- 7:55I will post it so that you guys can have a link.
- 7:57So head on over to the fish tank for that link.
- 8:00OK, now let's go back to Celeste Rivas.
- 8:05We are going to go to this clip right here and we're going to
- 8:09watch together. Of course, don't be all upset
- 8:11when I pause along the way. Apologies to Vinny for pausing
- 8:18it right there with his eyes. Dave.
- 8:19There we go. Right there we go.
- 8:21We'll do it like that. He looks nice and handsome now.
- 8:23OK, we're going to watch this video.
- 8:25I believe it is about 8 1/2 minutes long.
- 8:28My cut of it. This was from Court TV October
- 8:3124th. Here we go.
- 8:32It's, but the question is who was driving the car, Who had
- 8:36access to the car? Who left the car abandoned on
- 8:39the side of the road? To me, that's an important
- 8:42question in all of this. It might not.
- 8:45That person may not be the killer, but that person may have
- 8:49some information that could lead you to the answer to what
- 8:53happened to this teenage girl. We've.
- 8:59Got a special guest joining us here at the top of the show on
- 9:03this. By the way, David is and was at
- 9:07the time a grown man, an adult man hanging out with a allegedly
- 9:14allegedly hanging out with a 14 year old girl, Dory.
- 9:17Missing persons, private investigator, search and rescue
- 9:20pilot and ground search technician Steve Fisher is with
- 9:24us. He was also hired by the
- 9:26homeowner of the house. Where the?
- 9:28Singer David was living. Also joining us, host of the
- 9:33Outlier podcast and Pop crime TV reporter Lauren Collin.
- 9:37Great to have both of you here tonight.
- 9:39Steve, I want to begin with you because making a lot of news
- 9:44with all of this involving a video apparently that you were
- 9:47able to get your hands on. Give us the back story on the
- 9:51video, what you can tell us about the video and what that
- 9:55video revealed to you and what you've done with the video.
- 10:02So it's from, it's from the neighborhood, it's right down
- 10:04the street from the house that you know, David was staying in
- 10:08that his manager leased. And it's video of the Tesla, you
- 10:12know, being moved on the 29th, July 29th about midday.
- 10:19And it's the same day that they leave a group of them leave on a
- 10:23tour bus to begin the tour. The first day of the tour on the
- 10:26tour bus went to San Francisco. So the, the Tesla at that point
- 10:31is actually already in its dirty state as it is in the pictures
- 10:36that we obtained, you know, right when it was towed.
- 10:40So it's, it looked like you've been sitting again for a while.
- 10:43And it looks like they just made one last move with it before
- 10:47they they set out for this part of the tour.
- 10:50Now as you, as you describe that everyone at home is saying,
- 10:54well, who? Really interesting, by the way,
- 10:56that it was moved there and they were heading out on a tour.
- 11:05Honestly, that's the weirdest thing right?
- 11:08I they get into it though. Is they?
- 11:14Do we know who? They is you know that's
- 11:16something that right, Yeah, I know who I know who was driving
- 11:21it on that last little, you know, move that it made to that
- 11:25parking spot there. But that's something that I'm
- 11:28not going to disclose yet. I think that would be, you know,
- 11:32stepping on LAP DS toes, which we don't we don't want to do.
- 11:34We we just want to make sure that, you know, some of these
- 11:38things are known and and that, you know that there's justice in
- 11:42this case. Because that statement that they
- 11:45came out with LAPD came out with not too long ago was a little
- 11:48concerning. It made it seem like really
- 11:50culpability of concealment of a body might be the extent of the
- 11:53charges. So what what and and I just want
- 11:57to get a clearer picture here. The house where this was was.
- 12:01Would there be a reason? By the way, I didn't see the LAP
- 12:06DS comment that there might only be concealment of a body
- 12:12charges. I must have missed that
- 12:14somewhere. If you guys have a link to that,
- 12:16give it to me and I'd be happy to to check it out.
- 12:19But I mean, he does seem concerned about it, right?
- 12:23All right. For the for the car to not be at
- 12:26the house, like were they abandoning the house and they
- 12:29were never going to return to the house?
- 12:31Do we know anything about information like that?
- 12:36I don't think that was the plan because they left a lot of stuff
- 12:39behind the house. They did, you know, after this
- 12:42all went down, they moved some of it out, but even then they
- 12:44left a a ton behind. So I, I think it was just, you
- 12:49know, maybe that psychological factor of just a, you know, a
- 12:51little distance gets it a little, you know, further away
- 12:55from, you know, from the house. I don't, I, I think it was not a
- 12:59permanent solution, obviously, but I think that they did have a
- 13:02plan down the road. I think it just the towing
- 13:06really up ended that that plan. And that's, that's a really
- 13:10interesting thought. Like, well, you guys know how I
- 13:14feel about people who believe they're criminal masterminds.
- 13:17This is Gavin's Iron Law of Criminal Mastermind reading.
- 13:21That is, if you think you have what it takes to be a criminal
- 13:24mastermind, that is evidence in and of itself that you do not
- 13:28have what it takes. These guys appear to have been
- 13:32attempting to cover up a crime and they thought that parking
- 13:37the car on the on the side of the road as they're heading off
- 13:44on tour was a good idea. That's just that's just stupid.
- 13:50It's just, it's not smart. And had they had they kept it in
- 13:56the garage or on the property or something else, almost anything
- 14:03else, they would not. I mean, her body would never
- 14:07have been found. And I think Steve Fisher is
- 14:09right here that they just, you know, there was something in
- 14:13them to go, oh, we need to get as far away from us as we can,
- 14:16but still have the ability to control the situation.
- 14:19We'll park on the street. I, I think he's right.
- 14:22I just think it's ridiculous for them to think that way.
- 14:26Let me ask you, Steve. And I'm sorry, the question, the
- 14:29question that has been in my mind is, is this a murder?
- 14:33Was Celeste Rivas murdered or did she accidentally?
- 14:41I don't know. Did she accidentally die in
- 14:45David's company or house? And they panicked and said,
- 14:48well, we, we got to hide her. Nobody knows she's here anyway.
- 14:52You know, something like that. But the other now the other
- 15:00question that I might have is, well, if it wasn't murder, if it
- 15:05was an accident, say she overdosed or she tripped and
- 15:09fell and hit her head and they're like, oh, we've got a
- 15:11minor here, this will ruin everything, blah, blah, blah.
- 15:14I don't know, would any, I think any evidence of any sexual
- 15:21contact between Celeste and David probably would have
- 15:25decomposed along with her body. And I'm sorry to get gross about
- 15:30that because this is a 14 year old girl and she's a victim
- 15:33here. But we have to talk about the
- 15:35forensics, the forensic side of this, right?
- 15:37And you know what, maybe maybe I will bring this up on Thursday
- 15:42because on Thursday I have a special guest.
- 15:45I actually have some amazing guests coming up on the channel
- 15:50that I'm just going to show you real quick tomorrow.
- 15:56Tomorrow we have my true crime bestie, Cherylin Dale is joining
- 16:01me. Cherylin Beyond, her amazing
- 16:05YouTube channel, has been putting together some awesome
- 16:08limited series podcast. We're going to talk to her about
- 16:11that. And then on Thursday, we have
- 16:15the man himself, Joseph Scott Morgan is going to be joining us
- 16:19to talk about the forensic side of the investigation into the
- 16:23murder of Katie Scott. Maybe on Thursday we bring this
- 16:27up and talk to Joseph Scott Morgan about, you know, what
- 16:31happens to any evidence of, say, sexual contact as the body
- 16:34decomposes. I think the answer is probably
- 16:36obvious, but he should give us a very, very good answer to that.
- 16:41He's the man there. So that will be Thursday, 7:30
- 16:44PM Eastern Time. And then on Wednesday, 7:30 PM
- 16:50Eastern Time, my buddy Cherylin Dale will be joining me.
- 16:53And I'm really looking for, I haven't talked to her.
- 16:55I haven't talked well, I've talked to her.
- 16:57I just haven't had a deep, you know, we used to have a podcast
- 17:00together called Murder Between Friends.
- 17:05And if we could get a producer to like book guests, I, we both
- 17:10would take it up again because we had so much fun doing it.
- 17:13But so we used to talk all the time, especially on the podcast.
- 17:16I'm really looking forward to Wednesday.
- 17:19OK, let's go back. Where we going?
- 17:21Back over here. Here we go.
- 17:26Is there any indication of what is the last known proof of life
- 17:33of Celeste? So the last that that I have
- 17:40and, and I don't know you know what LAPD has, but there was
- 17:43some media left behind at the house and there's photos from a
- 17:47camera that David was using and the last photo of Celeste is
- 17:53January 2nd of 2025. Wow, so if she was dead January
- 18:022nd of 2025 and her body was discovered.
- 18:06Oh my goodness, I'm blanking. What was it, September?
- 18:10Hold on, I want to say it's September 7th.
- 18:19Something like that. When was it discovered?
- 18:33Let's do this Celeste Revis timeline.
- 18:44Yeah, I'm having a hard time finding a simple timeline, but
- 18:49oh, July 29th, Yeah. So anyway, I'm having such a
- 18:59hard time. Let's see guys, somebody help me
- 19:07out here. When was her body discovered?
- 19:09I'm having such a hard time. September 6th.
- 19:12That that's what it that's what it seems like to me.
- 19:14So the last time anybody saw her was in January.
- 19:18Where has she been since? Now this is just what he's
- 19:23saying. The last proof of life that he
- 19:25has was January. Where was she between January
- 19:30and September? Is is a question that I would
- 19:34love the answer to. Now without revealing what you
- 19:38found, right, because some things you may not be able to
- 19:42reveal and what you went through in the house, did you find any
- 19:44evidence of criminal behaviour? So, you know, it's not a time to
- 19:51think about doing certain things, but we found some things
- 19:54that had been delivered to the house that just don't belong
- 19:57there, don't belong in any type of environment like that, and
- 20:02they are things that you could use to get rid of.
- 20:05A person if you wanted to and they're really, you know, people
- 20:08say, oh, it's got to be tools and stuff.
- 20:09It's beyond that. It's it's, it's really it's
- 20:13really sadistic stuff. Now, LAPD didn't take it, but
- 20:16they have told us that they photographed it.
- 20:19But again, you know, that's not a crime, just ordering these
- 20:22things, you know. But I think it does, you know,
- 20:26show that there was some intent and, you know.
- 20:30Yeah, well, right. It's not illegal to have, but if
- 20:33you're putting together a case and it ends up being a homicide
- 20:35case and these things are round, that's that's that's a piece of
- 20:38the puzzle, the building blocks of any prosecutor's case.
- 20:42Now Steve, getting back to your video and you've, you've
- 20:45provided it to LAPD, correct? Yeah.
- 20:49Right, so they have it. Yeah, absolutely.
- 20:51And it's, and from that video you're able to tell who's
- 20:54driving the car and, and you, you use the term they.
- 20:58So there's more than one person involved in all of this.
- 21:02And obviously none of them or all of them could be involved
- 21:06with what happened to Celeste. We don't know.
- 21:09But are they identifiable from the video?
- 21:14Yeah. And to be clear, so there's one
- 21:16person driving the car. When I say they, it's because
- 21:19there's images from right before and then after the time frame
- 21:25the car was moved that same day of people at the the home and
- 21:29then on tour bus. So when I say they, I know that
- 21:32they were in in a a group, but there's only one person that
- 21:36that moved the car and that person is identifiable for sure.
- 21:39And is is LAPD, my guess is they would have wanted to spoken to
- 21:45all these people. Do we know if they have given
- 21:48statements? Do we know if LAPD has spoken to
- 21:52David and anyone else who may have been in and around the home
- 21:55at that time? Well, I know that, you know,
- 21:59before she was identified, there was a statement from David's
- 22:04camp saying that he did plan on talking to LAPD when he came
- 22:07back in town because he had a show at the Greek Theatre in LA
- 22:11which was cancelled. I hope they've talked to these
- 22:15people, but you know, they're not telling.
- 22:17They're not telling us that you know they we have not gotten
- 22:20we've been trying to get a copy of the problem of the search
- 22:22warrant with the probable cause affidavit because the owner is
- 22:25entitled to that since. Man, that he's about to say that
- 22:29that won't be disclosed, but it would be so great to get for
- 22:35that to leak the probable cause affidavit for the search warrant
- 22:38of the home. And California's just not a
- 22:42place that's going to disclose a lot of stuff.
- 22:44It wasn't a on the lease. We haven't gotten that yet and
- 22:48that's not what we could disclose anyways.
- 22:50But I would hope that they're talking to there was a, there
- 22:52was a core group of people that were around a lot and all the
- 22:55time. And I'll tell you what, Celeste
- 22:57is not one of those people that it's in this house in these
- 23:00photos, you know, there's people are showing some photos of an
- 23:05old house from before, but there was another place that appears
- 23:09to be in East Hollywood or downtown that I believe she was
- 23:12staying at more like an apartment.
- 23:15And so I think they hopefully they'll get to the bottom of
- 23:17that and figure out because I think there, you know, she was
- 23:19living with somebody as well too.
- 23:21She was not at this house 24/7. And how?
- 23:24That is a great point, right, that there, there are a lot of
- 23:28people here who will know what Celeste was up to, where she was
- 23:32living, who was she associating with?
- 23:36Was there any, and I'm sorry to keep harping on this, but but
- 23:39David was a grown man and Celeste Rivas was a juvenile
- 23:44child, 14 year old girl. What was their relationship?
- 23:50What was going on there, right? There will be so many people
- 23:53that know that and hopefully there will be digital or for
- 23:59otherwise forensic evidence that would show what you know, what
- 24:04that relationship was. Far back to the videos go.
- 24:08I mean are there videos before that date on July 29th and do do
- 24:12they reveal anything? They go from.
- 24:16They go from December of 24 up until I forget the exact date
- 24:23but it's about I think it's like April or or May that they they
- 24:28go to. All right, Steve Fisher.
- 24:32So there is there, there is four.
- 24:35Yeah, she does appear on some images in in December 24 as
- 24:38well, but the last one is January 25.
- 24:41OK, so that that is the end of it.
- 24:44I'll just I'll just put it up like that again.
- 24:45Dang it, Vinny, I'm sorry. There we go.
- 24:48Make it, make it about there. So yeah, the questions that I
- 24:51have here are, I mean, pretty simple ones, and I'm just going
- 24:56to reiterate them and I hope you guys have a bunch of questions.
- 24:58So put GF in the comments so that I can go and check out what
- 25:01it is that you're asking. But my questions are, number
- 25:08one, what was Celeste Rivas doing in in that whole time
- 25:13frame starting December 24th all the way until July 29th?
- 25:19Her body was discovered September 7th or 8th.
- 25:22I'm sorry, what? What about my second question is
- 25:25the time delta, what was happening with her body between
- 25:29when they believe she died and when her body was found #3 We're
- 25:36going to ask just Scott Morgan. What would happen to the
- 25:41forensic evidence in that relatively small front trunk
- 25:46area of a Tesla Model X with a human body decomposing?
- 25:52What, what forensic evidence would remain?
- 25:57Those, those are the big questions that the, the
- 26:01relationship between a 14 year old girl and a grown man that
- 26:10that bothers me, man, that really, really bothers me.
- 26:16Yeah. Celeste was 14 at the time of
- 26:18her death, KC32 says. Isn't there a video in front of
- 26:28her in front of the market after that when she ran away again?
- 26:31I I think you are correct. I think you are correct.
- 26:35And Pammy says Celeste was 14 at the time of her death.
- 26:38Indeed, indeed, Lucy Fair says just about to take the dog for a
- 26:47walk. I'm glad to have Gavin in my
- 26:49ear. Hey, here's a question for you
- 26:50guys. And this is this is a little a
- 26:54little bit of a tangent, but I'm thinking about taking the audio
- 26:57from my YouTube videos and just turning them into a podcast.
- 27:01Is that something you guys might want to listen to?
- 27:04That's that's something that I would have that that I'm
- 27:09considering doing. Tina, it seems as though her
- 27:12parents either allowed this relationship or didn't do
- 27:15anything to stop it. It to me, it seems like Celeste
- 27:18was a perpetual runaway child and I don't know that there was
- 27:27anything that could be done to stop her.
- 27:29It's really tough. All right.
- 27:32Doesn't look like we have too many questions in there.
- 27:35So I think we might call it let's see.
- 27:43Pammy says so sad. He started his relationship with
- 27:46her at age 13 per Ghisala just sickening.
- 27:50Yes, Skeeter says yes to the to the podcast idea.
- 27:55Bulldog mom says yes. I listen more than I watch.
- 27:58So that might be something that I that I do Truth seeker Renee
- 28:04says the body of 15 year old Celeste was discovered on
- 28:07September 8th. Thank you very much.
- 28:10And Mooney says, wasn't she supposedly groomed by him
- 28:13starting at age 12? I mean, there are there are lots
- 28:18of rumors out there. I don't know how old was David
- 28:22at the time? Let's let's look up David age.
- 28:28He's 20 now. So 19, you know, maybe 18 when
- 28:38they started their relationship. That's it's not right.
- 28:44It's no, no. Dandelioness says.
- 28:48Until I hear from her parents, I'm going to reserve my
- 28:50judgement of them. I was a runaway and nothing
- 28:52could stop me from leaving. Yeah, I have a childhood friend
- 28:56that I'm still in contact with. Love him to death.
- 28:59Who, I mean, he, he picked up at age like 15 and left like he was
- 29:06gone. He was nowhere to be found.
- 29:09I think he checked in with his parents once.
- 29:11He was many, many, many states away.
- 29:14So yeah, I with some kids, there's just, there's just
- 29:20nothing that can be done. And I was thinking I wouldn't
- 29:24call him a friend. In fact, I would call him a foe.
- 29:27But as we grew older, we began to understand each other.
- 29:30But a kid that I knew, I mean, probably starting when I was
- 29:3611-12 years old, we went to middle school together, We went
- 29:42to high school together. He was kind of a, we didn't get
- 29:49along as kids, but he ended up, he ended up kind of, well, not
- 29:58kind of he ended up living on the streets and, and died.
- 30:06I think that's been four years ago now.
- 30:09The last time I saw him, I was I was back in California.
- 30:13I was visiting my folks. This is 4, maybe five years ago
- 30:16and I went to Walmart to pick up some things and he was outside
- 30:20of the Walmart and recognize me. I didn't recognize him.
- 30:24Anyway. I know his parents really well,
- 30:27and his mom described him as a sweet boy who lost his way.
- 30:32There just wasn't anything that could be done to help him.
- 30:38They, they, they tried everything.
- 30:40So I'm kind of, I'm kind of with you now.
- 30:44I also understand that there is a bit of a language barrier for
- 30:47most reporters with Celeste's family.
- 30:52So I would love to talk to both of them.
- 30:54I would love that. Let's talk disabilities.
- 30:58I understand he was an adult, but how old?
- 31:00I think he was probably 18. She was 13 or 12 when when they
- 31:08appear to have gotten together. Las Vegas Medi Petty Center and
- 31:12Spa. I listen more than watching
- 31:13while working. So maybe I do, maybe I do,
- 31:17Sinabay says Gavin. I run away.
- 31:20I ran away twice at that age. My mom Ding near had the
- 31:23Pentagon looking for me. Her mom wasn't even posting
- 31:26about her on Facebook. She could have tried harder even
- 31:30if she couldn't stop her. I see what you're saying.
- 31:32OK Neva Nick says. Gavin, as long as you make sure
- 31:36YouTube gets to see you and the info.
- 31:39I watch when you have documents but clean etcetera when there
- 31:43are none. I got it.
- 31:44OK, cool, let's see. Clicked on that.
- 31:50Here we go Gavin. If they were both in high
- 31:52school, it's not unheard of. Seniors date freshman.
- 31:55I don't think it's right. Yeah, there are Romeo and Juliet
- 32:01laws in some places. I think California even does
- 32:05have a Romeo and Juliet law. Let me look it up.
- 32:13Lovestruck Romeo saying the streets of Serenade.
- 32:20That's a great song. California does not have a Romeo
- 32:24and Juliet law, but there are Romeo and Juliet laws in many
- 32:30places to protect, basically to protect an older child who they
- 32:37spent, they've had consensual sexual relationship with one
- 32:41another when they're both juveniles.
- 32:43And then the day the older one turns 18, it protects that
- 32:48person from being, you know, charged.
- 32:53But in this case where we're talking, I mean, Celeste would
- 32:56be 15 now. That's what we know.
- 32:58She'd be 15 now. He is 20 now.
- 33:00So there's at least a five year difference.
- 33:03So, you know, if he was 1918, she's 13.
- 33:09That's that's too big of a gap. It's too big for me if it's a 17
- 33:14year old and an 18 year old that that's different for me.
- 33:17But yeah, KC 32, I think they started off their relationship
- 33:23as gamers. Wonder if she lied about her age
- 33:26too. No excuse, but she does appear
- 33:28older looking and might have played it off.
- 33:30It's possible. Possible.
- 33:39Dandelioness says if his friends thought she was 19.
- 33:41Here's to say her parents weren't told he was much
- 33:44younger. We don't know what we we don't
- 33:50know. What we don't know yet is what
- 33:52Dandelioness is saying. That's good.
- 33:55Lucy Fair says. When my mom found out, she got
- 33:57me on birth control and was disappointed, but didn't do or
- 33:59say anything to make me want to run.
- 34:02It's a balance. But I would have rebelled if she
- 34:04was more harsh. Yeah.
- 34:07What is a Romeo and Juliet law? Let me just let me just explain
- 34:10this real quick, OK? Romeo and Juliet laws provide
- 34:15exemptions for consensual sexual activity between minors who are
- 34:19close in age. So.
- 34:23So this means that someone a person can be.
- 34:27Let's see, California law considers any sexual contact
- 34:32with a minor, regardless of the age difference, to be illegal.
- 34:35This means a person can be charged with a crime for having
- 34:38sex with someone under 18, even if the perpetrator is also a
- 34:42minor. Interesting.
- 34:46So many people I knew growing growing up were breaking the
- 34:49law, but let me just read like what a Romeo and Joe A Romeo and
- 34:54Juliet law is a legal provision that provides an exemption or
- 34:58defense to statutory essay charges for individuals in a
- 35:02consensual relationship who are close in age.
- 35:05These laws are designed to prevent young people from facing
- 35:07severe penalties for consensual sexual activity and may reduce
- 35:11or drop charges, eliminate mandatory registration, or
- 35:16change the classification from a felony to a misdemeanor.
- 35:19However, not all states have these laws, and in some states,
- 35:22like California, no Romeo and Juliet law exists, meaning that
- 35:27sexual contact with someone under 18 is always considered
- 35:31statutory essay, regardless of the age difference.
- 35:35So that's what a Romeo and Juliet law is.
- 35:39Yeah. Great question.
- 35:41Allison loves animal, says at that age, 5 years is like a
- 35:44whole generation. Yeah.
- 35:48Yeah. Well, we'll have to keep our eye
- 35:52on this case. It's a it's an interesting one.
- 35:54We certainly have a question for Joseph Scott Morgan on Thursday.
- 35:58Remember that we are going to be with Cherylin on Wednesday.
- 36:05Can't wait to just do a little bit of bestie Babble with her,
- 36:08which is what we used to call it on murder between friends.
- 36:11Sherilyn is one of my favorite people.
- 36:13I just love her to death. I hope that you guys love her as
- 36:16much as I do. And then on Thursday, once again
- 36:19with Joseph Scott Morgan. Let's see, one more quick
- 36:24comment. I I listen almost exclusively in
- 36:26the background on YouTube while I'm working and bounce between
- 36:29creators. I don't typically switch to
- 36:30other platforms for podcasts because they're usually also on
- 36:33YouTube. Interesting.
- 36:35OK, we've got a lot to think about.

- 37:36Some that we cover here on the channel is some that we don't.
- 37:40And you can just get one more good look at my one and only
- 37:46back on our trip to Porto, which I wish that we were still there
- 37:50a lot of days who is now a beautiful, majestic 50 year old
- 38:00woman. I, we have shared more than half
- 38:03our lives together and the only thing that could make it better
- 38:06is if we shared all our lives together.
- 38:11I'm not just saying that she's amazing.
