10. Celebrate · Just For Today

Jessica Figueroa: Hey listeners, I'm here. And boy, do I have a fun one today because joy is the serious business of heaven, C.S. Lewis says. It's one of the fruits of the spirit. So what are we gonna do today? Today, we are gonna celebrate something. That's right. If you want to stop by and grab a cake or a cupcake, or if you don't eat sugar, you're going to maybe get a balloon or you're gonna make some homemade decorations. But today you are gonna find something. To celebrate, either for your child or yourself or your spouse, you're gonna go with a neighbor. You're gonna celebrate something today. And you're gonna throw a little celebration. Have you ever noticed how kids celebrate? They celebrate so much better than us as adults. So today we're celebrating. You are gonna find something and you're gonna make some version of a celebration over your thing. Today's a fun day that we are exercising our joy by celebrating just for today. We are gonna celebrate something in our lives. Enjoy your celebration and I will talk to you guys tomorrow.
