- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, let's get playing.
- 0:02Speaker 1: Finding, being in a comfortable posture.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Whatever that means for you, you know, have you prepared yourself adequately?
- 0:11Speaker 1: You know, to sit for a few minutes.
- 0:14Speaker 1: This is the question to be asking oneself before one sits down.
- 0:19Speaker 1: And so this is a little step, a little way of helping us improve ourselves rather than not being undisturbed.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Maybe the time of day one meditates is conducive to having deeper meditations undisturbed.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Or maybe there are time you are less comfortable where there are distractions.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Most likely both, all the time, time and space are changing.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Understanding this, consider our norms, and this is...
- 0:55Speaker 1: ways we can initiate our meditation experience with increasing proficiency, in little steps, in little positive ways, being aware.
- 1:08Speaker 1: "Let me also be changing," and if you find one is feeling different criteria of importance, then initiating opportunities of trying different things.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Change is in the air.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Being adaptive and flexible.
- 1:30Speaker 1: This is learning.
- 1:32Speaker 1: This is the essence of knowing thyself is to be sensitive enough to be listening to oneself, to be receptive to the hints and suggestions your greater being give to us.
- 1:49Speaker 1: That being which has been for millions of years, passed on in one's DNA, being comfortably postured, undisturbed as one can, raising one's face and elevation up a little bit above eye level to horizon in one's mind, visualizing, being more aware, one's memory, in one's brain.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Finding in these moments a sense of our physicality.
- 2:32Speaker 1: If one is to be postured comfortably, one needs to be aware of one's position, how one's body is situated.
- 2:42Speaker 1: What are the responses from one's skin, from one's musculature, from whatever?
- 2:49Speaker 1: Being here now then means that this is part of one's experience, this sense of physicality.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Expanding this now in one's own unique way.
- 3:07Speaker 1: What is it coming to one's mind?
- 3:09Speaker 1: Your mind, mine, when we say these words.
- 3:13Speaker 1: One's breathing can be a possibility, or one's pulse, or the heat emanating from one's body, or if you're in a cold environment, you're not getting enough.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Beneath these three is a fourth, one's shimmering majesty feeling more deeply inside, allowing one's body to open wide in recognition of itself, saying hello, being appreciative, being humble before what we don't hardly even comprehend, much less remember, from this breath to this, or this pulsing heartbeat to this, to the shimmering majesty of our own being here in a sense of awareness, receptive.
- 4:14Speaker 1: These are building blocks.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Opportunity to remember our exquisite nature, remembering our birth, remembering our conception.
- 4:31Speaker 1: One billion pairs of the basic knowledge of mankind's creation are passed into you and I.
- 4:45Speaker 1: A billion from each parent, half, total, two billion pairs.
- 4:51Speaker 1: This is whom we individually, uniquely are.
- 4:58Speaker 1: These four simultaneously occurring processes, becoming aware of them in one's mindful meditation is a suggestion I certainly follow and recommend to anyone who might want to use it to try, becoming more aware of one's breathing, follow one's own rhythm, making an effort to deepen and lengthen it, both on one's inhales, one's initial pause, or one's exhale and one's second pause before one begins another new cycle of respiration.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I recommend trying to have your exhale a little longer and deeper than one's inhale, and being playful, making up games for oneself to become more aware of, becoming, in essence, your best friend, being with your breath all the time, flowing with one's bodily rhythms, making an effort, this is practice, to improve one's relationship with one's own breathing.
- 6:19Speaker 1: The result is familiarization.
- 6:25Speaker 1: "The success is in practice as it, because it, comes true." One begins building habits of self-improvement, awareness, respiration is a seed unto the next moment of time.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Allow it to be.
- 6:44Speaker 1: One's pulse is so similarly endowed, it is a seed of life energy, of muscular activity, of energy being coordinated in a muscular system, one's heart to squeeze and relax.
- 7:09Speaker 1: One's majesty being alive, one's vibration, essence, potential of feeling, of one's greatest sensitivity in this unique moment being shared, now, listening inside of one's mind, listening, between one's auditory nerve and brain, listening.
- 7:46Speaker 1: What do we find?
- 7:50Speaker 1: The essence, the effervescence of energy, potential, here now, being thankful, being humble, we are allowing oneself to practice more.
- 8:31Speaker: How can I be, practice!
- 8:43Speaker 1: The music continues for another minute. namaste
