- 0:00Speaker: I see all good people.
- 0:02Speaker: Hopefully.
- 0:04Speaker: Isn't it much better to be positive than negative?
- 0:09Speaker: We've got a couple of questions I wrote down this morning for us.
- 0:14Speaker: The first question is: what is the value of one day?
- 0:20Speaker: What is the value of one of our days?
- 0:26Speaker: What we consider its worth?
- 0:28Speaker: When one determines this answer, then of one hour.
- 0:35Speaker: What is the value of one hour?
- 0:38Speaker: What is our worth?
- 0:41Speaker: Ponder.
- 0:43Speaker: Seeking improvement.
- 0:46Speaker: Growing richer in aspirations, virtuous goals.
- 0:54Speaker: I have another question.
- 0:57Speaker: What is the most important thing, Event, to occur in one's day.
- 1:08Speaker: We wake up.
- 1:12Speaker: Probably your answer, too.
- 1:16Speaker: Once you think about it.
- 1:18Speaker: Because before all other things, we need to be aware.
- 1:21Speaker: So we need to wake up.
- 1:23Speaker: Otherwise, we're not really here.
- 1:25Speaker: So it's simple enough, but when one thinks about this in this way, what is the most important thing to occur in one's day?
- 1:35Speaker: And you answer that question, we wake up.
- 1:39Speaker: Does this not change something inside?
- 1:44Speaker: A realization begins stirring our senses of awareness, of perception.
- 1:54Speaker: Then I asked another question, what is then the second most important thing to occur in one's day.
- 2:05Speaker: Let me say it again.
- 2:08Speaker: What is then after we have woken up, the second most important thing to occur in our day?
- 2:18Speaker: Again, in my opinion, "how" one wakes up.
- 2:25Speaker: How one wakes up?
- 2:33Speaker: On what level of awareness are we coming into creation from our slumber?
- 2:43Speaker: Positive, negative, indifferent?
- 2:46Speaker: Have we set our goals onto a piece of paper so we know what we want to accomplish today or tomorrow or next year or in our lives?
- 2:58Speaker: Do we have events that are most likely going to be occurring in this twenty-four-hour period where we can best be utilized and make accomplishments which bring us a sense of pleasure, a sense of reward, a sense of gratitude.
- 3:25Speaker: This is our aspiration, I know.
- 3:28Speaker: What is your worth?
- 3:31Speaker: What is the value of one's life?
- 3:35Speaker: Learning how to manage one's time is a thought I shared with myself the other day and wrote down.
- 3:47Speaker: Let me repeat, It's a good one.
- 3:50Speaker: I think it's important for all of us.
- 3:52Speaker: "Learning to manage one's time." This is what writing down our goals for the day is about.
- 3:58Speaker: Doing this.
- 4:00Speaker: Doing this.
- 4:01Speaker: As one breathes, do this.
- 4:04Speaker: And be understanding and kind and continue and keep working on improving this.
- 4:10Speaker: Have pads of paper around your living space and a pen or a pencil to write with.
- 4:18Speaker: Expressing oneself is important.
- 4:21Speaker: Remembering what one has expressed in the flowing essence of time is important.
- 4:28Speaker: Share, prosper, nourish ourselves, our beings.
- 4:33Speaker: The very air we are in.
- 4:38Speaker: Again, we are usually taking everything for granted or not being cognizant of the energy emanating from our own being, taken for granted out of a loss of sensitivity in the last thousands of years.
- 4:58Speaker: Being here, present, visualize, there is a saber-toothed tiger somewhere not so far away.
- 5:08Speaker: Do you think for one instant that those people weren't more aware?
- 5:14Speaker: Their eyes scanning constantly for danger to arrive, how they might respond in an attempt to save lives?
- 5:24Speaker: Do you not think this is so?
- 5:27Speaker: Do you take for granted the greatness and the length of time of evolutionary events, millions upon millions of years, even within the context of one's own self, one's DNA?
- 5:46Speaker: We easily take for granted our own beings every day.
- 5:53Speaker: What is the most important thing one can do?
- 5:57Speaker: Wake up.
- 5:59Speaker: And once woken, "how" and "what" we set out to accomplish these two together, writing them down for you.
- 6:11Speaker: Check them out.
- 6:13Speaker: Is this true?
- 6:14Speaker: The music's going to continue for another minute, please.
- 6:21Speaker: Ponder these things.
- 6:24Speaker: Because it is in the practice of one's own being, of one's own sense of awareness where we grow.
- 6:31Speaker: This is the nourishing part.
- 6:34Speaker: Practice is nourishing oneself.
- 6:36Speaker: It is not a responsibility, it is a goal to nourish oneself.
- 6:43Speaker: Remembering your majesties.
- 6:48Speaker: Whom you are, where you have come from, because we don't have these properties so visible today.
- 6:58Speaker: The saber-toothed tigers are long gone.
- 7:01Speaker: But we have other adversaries, perhaps even more potent, ourselves.
- 7:10Speaker: Practicing, seeking virtuosity is the reward mankind needs for survival, virtuosity, the tools we possess being much longer than the six-inch or eight-inch long saber-toothed tiger's longest teeth.
- 7:30Speaker: We need to educate our children to be aware, to be thankful, to be humble.
- 7:39Speaker: Just as we need to educate ourselves.
- 7:43Speaker: And we do this by remembering and reminding ourselves all through one's day.
- 7:50Speaker: It is not a simple five or ten or fifteen minute practice.
- 7:54Speaker: It is all day we live.
- 7:57Speaker: It is one's life.
- 8:00Speaker: The minute begins now. namaste
