Transcript
- 0:00Well, think about this for a second, right?
- 0:01When we are in JV sports, numbers make sense.
- 0:04You're like, hey, I tell my son, hey, dude,
- 0:08you're playing hockey.
- 0:09Take as many shots on goal as you want,
- 0:10and one of them will go in.
- 0:11That's JV.
- 0:12Law of large number.
- 0:13He plays in the NHL, and he has 200 shots on goal,
- 0:15and he makes one goal.
- 0:16He's going to get kicked off the team.
- 0:17So again, I actually think brokers, owners, managers, coaches,
- 0:22and consultants are the entire reason why agents,
- 0:24like everyday agents don't get support.
- 0:26It is my fault.
- 0:27It is my fault.
- 0:28I am taking responsibility for this.
- 0:29And the reason is this, right?
- 0:30The fact that we think, the fact that we have been taught
- 0:33that sales is a numbers game is a lie.
- 0:35Because what it says is, hey, you just put in more effort
- 0:38without any skill, and eventually, you know,
- 0:41even a blind squirrel finds an acorn.
- 0:43As the world gets smaller and adds more information,
- 0:46as the consumers have more information,
- 0:47you're going to get less at bats.
- 0:49When you get less at bats, you're going to start
- 0:51to pay higher cost for lead.
- 0:53A higher cost for lead means more cost for conversations.
- 0:55Means you have to talk to more people.
- 0:56It's not a numbers game, it's a skills game, right?
