- 0:22static and midnight shows. MTV raised us.
- 0:28You already know latchkey hearts and wild eyed dreams, feral
- 0:37minds tearing at the scene. You say it's too much to unpack
- 0:46but I'll see you wait and I've got your back.
- 0:49Talk Walkman blend. You scream at the.
- 1:11Good morning. Welcome or welcome back to that
- 1:14Gen. X Front podcast.
- 1:16Before I begin, I want to get a shout, give a shout out to H and
- 1:19Tracer for helping me yesterday. It was due to operator error, me
- 1:26being the operator. That's anyways, thank you.
- 1:31And my messages were sent really early because I don't sleep.
- 1:37Anyways, thank you. I appreciate it.
- 1:39Thank you for all the help and all the behind the scenes work
- 1:42that you do. And thanks for putting up with
- 1:45me. So let's get to it, right?
- 1:53I want to talk about something that I think maybe I'll most
- 2:01people know about, but the title kind of says a lot.
- 2:09It's doom scrolling with blue like blocking glasses.
- 2:14So today I'm a little out of source because I'm going to be
- 2:19doing like a live action costume change because and I'm going to
- 2:27be working different screens because I have to read
- 2:29something. I wrote this I think a year
- 2:33maybe two years ago because I have blue like blocking glasses
- 2:42because I I have due to migraines and when I have to
- 2:46stare at screens, it really does trigger migraines more.
- 2:53So thank you to the VA for giving me these glasses that are
- 2:57very helpful. And also usually when I'm
- 3:00recording, I have lights on. I usually just operate in the
- 3:04dark, not at night because I can't really see anything.
- 3:08But you know, when I'm recording all the lights on, usually I
- 3:11will only have the screen as the only light when I'm working on a
- 3:17screen. So bear with me, OK?
- 3:21This is like high tech for me. So I'm going to be reading what
- 3:25I wrote about the blue light blocking glasses and then we
- 3:31will let's talk about it. OK, hold on.
- 3:35Technical changes here. Hold on.
- 3:38Before I do that, you know, this is the costume change.
- 3:44OK, See, these are blue like blocking glasses.
- 3:49They're also my readers. And also the tint is because of
- 3:53migraines for me. I, I don't respond to other
- 3:57colors well, the lens colors. So ready or not, I'm going to
- 4:03try to read this. OK, OK, here we go.
- 4:08I'm going to I'm doing a different screen.
- 4:10So here we go. All right, Doom scrolling with
- 4:18blue like blocking glasses. The stylish digital clock
- 4:23signifies it being too early, too late, working hours, a
- 4:29procrastination countdown, a painkiller reducing the agony of
- 4:34waiting, an empty filler attempting to satiate boredom's
- 4:39hunger, and a drug for the affiliate affiliates and a drug
- 4:47for the afflicted. I can't do this live,
- 4:52apparently. Thank God I'm not a newscaster.
- 4:55That was not part of what I wrote.
- 4:59The familiar screen glows with a swirl of anticipatory
- 5:02trepidation. Possessing infinite access to
- 5:06wishful dreams were dreaded nightmares.
- 5:10Researchers warn that persistent exposure to blue light disrupts
- 5:16the circadian rhythm. This disruption causes a long
- 5:20list of cascading effects on the chemical balancing act that
- 5:25defines the delicate art of homeostasis.
- 5:32Slipping on the widely promoted blue, like blocking glasses,
- 5:38which I have signifying protection and security,
- 5:42justifies the doom scrolling day and night.
- 5:47The signal flashes. The presence of blue light
- 5:51equals denied entry. The perceptibility of the
- 5:57performative protection drops the defenses enough to birth
- 6:03complacency. The invisible world facing sign
- 6:08flashes enter at will, one and all, but the resulting outcomes
- 6:17dominate a flustered dialogue of incredulity.
- 6:21There must have been a glitch with a protection.
- 6:25Or perhaps doom scrolling with blue like blocking glasses is
- 6:33like using a perforated condom while praying for dismissal from
- 6:39the consequences. All right, let's talk about it.
- 6:42I only messed up a few times. Thank you for bearing with me.
- 6:45I'm going to switch now to a different screen.
- 6:51Anyways, thank God I'm not a newscaster.
- 6:55So I'm going to go back to my normal glasses, which makes me
- 6:59pretty blind because they're not my readers.
- 7:03I can see, but that way you can see my face and not trying to be
- 7:11cool or nothing. You know, like Yoko Ono or not
- 7:15that she's cool. I just remember seeing her face
- 7:19like plaster with these glasses or The Beatles.
- 7:24Lennon. Yeah, him wearing those glasses.
- 7:29Anyways, I digress. Let's talk about it.
- 7:31All right, so I was wearing my blue light glasses, blocking
- 7:37glasses. And the reason why I, I wanted
- 7:43to talk about this because one of the reasons why I didn't
- 7:48record yesterday, I usually record on this one particular
- 7:51day is because, well, I didn't sleep at all and I ended up doom
- 7:57scrolling. You know, it is what it is.
- 8:05And I found it just so ironic that I had written about this.
- 8:14It it's like, well, take your own advice dude.
- 8:17Bro, I couldn't, I didn't. That's how I compensate tossing
- 8:28and turning while not sleeping to at least I'm looking at
- 8:33something right? Like it's a pretend
- 8:37productivity. How do you be?
- 8:40I don't know how that even makes sense in my mind, but when you
- 8:43don't sleep it all things make sense.
- 8:47So I wrote this like I, like I said, I think a couple years
- 8:51ago, maybe a year ago, because I'm not the only one.
- 8:58Actually, I've seen quite a few social media commercials about
- 9:04blue light, you know, blocking blue light and how it's damaging
- 9:08and you know, and people are selling these glasses that
- 9:13blocks the blue light that radiates from different screens,
- 9:17from our lighting, from our TV screens, from our phones,
- 9:22whatever. Because it does, it does trigger
- 9:26different chemical reactions in our minds, right?
- 9:29Especially when we're doing doom scrolling, when we're doom
- 9:33scrolling at night when we should be sleeping.
- 9:35Because now your eyes are introduced to this light that
- 9:41signifies, hey, it's awake time. You're like, no, man, it's, it's
- 9:45like 1:30 in the morning and I should be sleeping, right?
- 9:50But your body, it's being triggered.
- 9:54Triggered to act a different way and then we wonder why we don't
- 10:02we don't sleep. But I did find that once I did
- 10:07receive these the the pair that I have right now, I've had a
- 10:17like a couple pairs. It almost gave me like, Oh yeah,
- 10:22now now I'm protected. I'm good, you know, I don't
- 10:28know, people tend to, I found that people tend to act more
- 10:32recklessly. Is it reckless?
- 10:36Reckless when they feel safe, Like protected, right?
- 10:42Like, oh, now that I am protected from this, then I can
- 10:47go do more of this because, well, I'm technically protected.
- 10:54And there's an irony to it, like sometimes ha ha, but sometimes
- 11:02it's just like it is. So it almost makes it worse,
- 11:12right? That's why I compare to Forgive
- 11:16me. I had to, I had to write it.
- 11:17There's no other way that I could think in my mind.
- 11:19Maybe it's because I have military, not better mine.
- 11:27I didn't know how else to voices.
- 11:28If you know better, let me know. I I that's why I compared blue
- 11:32like blocking glasses and doom scrolling with them on is as
- 11:38being comparable to using a perforated condom like oh wow, I
- 11:44put this thing on and but there's holes everywhere.
- 11:48Well, I don't know for those who've had children, had
- 11:52children or have had gotten pregnant not deliberately while
- 12:01using protection. I I think you get the gist.
- 12:08And in the same way, I, I believe that using blue light
- 12:17blocking glasses, wow is good. It is protection, right?
- 12:24It, it breeds a certain level of complacency that keeps us doom
- 12:30scrolling like I'm protector, I'm good.
- 12:33But nonetheless, the time on screen while we're scrolling,
- 12:37while we're staring at a screen is longer because, you know,
- 12:45we're not getting that light to trigger our biological chemical
- 12:53reactions in our own body. Well, dune scrolling is no good,
- 12:58right? It's not about the glasses sore
- 13:01if I do believe that if you can have something that blocks the
- 13:07how the light triggers our internal workings, sure, use it.
- 13:14But it should never be used to promote more of this behavior
- 13:25like it does me. Like I'm safe, I'm good.
- 13:30No, no, no 'cause do scrolling has a chemical reaction in and
- 13:35of its own right, even with, with or without the glasses.
- 13:39This is just the the performative protection that we
- 13:44put on, even though it it's more comparable to a perforated
- 13:49condom than we think, right? It's performative.
- 13:56The doom scrolling itself, depending on what you're doom
- 13:58scrolling, sure, you can be doom scrolling, learning stuff.
- 14:04Maybe it's not as bad to your brain because ADHD, what
- 14:10whatever. There's so many things we can
- 14:12talk about how it changes, how our brain functions and then the
- 14:17cascading effects of it, how your brain functions, the
- 14:21chemicals in your brain and how your body functions after the
- 14:24fact or during the fact. So depending on what you can
- 14:29always argue, well, I'm, I'm, I'm reading really, really heavy
- 14:36duty stuff that's teaching me stuff.
- 14:39Great, that's awesome. But staring at the screen for
- 14:42too long, even though you're protected.
- 14:46I'm using error quotes now, even though you're protected.
- 14:54Is being fixated on screen really that great?
- 14:57I mean, there's enough research and experts.
- 15:00All these people are coming out. Oh no, screen time is too much.
- 15:04We should disconnect. Heck, I've done podcasts about
- 15:08disconnecting from screens before.
- 15:12So even in that way, just because you feel comfortable,
- 15:18like I'm not being triggered by the lighting, but I'm going to
- 15:22spend more time staring at the screen, that's not good either,
- 15:25right? And I say this as a doom
- 15:29scroller that sometimes I, I, I don't even use the blue light
- 15:35glasses because these are obviously two different glasses
- 15:40because I cannot handle bifocals.
- 15:44Because you got to contort your head a certain way.
- 15:47You got to tilt your head up to look down.
- 15:51I already have neck issues and back issues.
- 15:55That's why sometimes when I'm picking up the phone and I don't
- 15:58have my blue light blocking glasses near me, I just doom
- 16:03scroll while being blind and guessing at what I'm looking at,
- 16:08which is pretty funny because I'm frowning.
- 16:11I'm making that like and give myself severe wrinkle lines.
- 16:17I hate those commercials. I digress.
- 16:21It is what it is. So that's why I I, I find it.
- 16:27I mean, how many people do this? I can't be the only one,
- 16:31especially when I sell, when I see influencers selling the blue
- 16:36like blocking glasses and they're like, oh, the benefits.
- 16:40They they never really cover real the reality of what humans
- 16:47do. Once we feel safe, we become
- 16:50complacent. We are less vigilant.
- 16:52I'm not saying being paranoid, right?
- 16:54Like a lot of veterans and, and, and also in military community,
- 16:59we're hyper vigilant because we are trained that way and also
- 17:02for other reasons for trauma, whatever.
- 17:07I'm not saying be paranoid, but being aware that we as humanity
- 17:17is as people tend to like become like, oh, now we're protected,
- 17:24we can do more. It is such a it's a fine line
- 17:34between sure, you're protected. Now you can do more, as in, OK,
- 17:39you can probably do more, get more things done because your,
- 17:45your eyes aren't hurting. Like migraines hurt my head and
- 17:50like staring at harsh lighting from the screens really do hurt
- 17:54my eyes 'cause I just can't take all that lighting.
- 18:00You know, there's a fine line between that and thinking it's
- 18:06just, oh, it's just a blue light causing us issues.
- 18:11No, it is a constantly scrolling.
- 18:15OK, my son. I felt kind of insulted.
- 18:21It's like, mom, why do you send me AI slop?
- 18:24I'm like, what are you talking about?
- 18:27So I I recently found this one channel.
- 18:32I guess it's called nobody sausage in in and it does these
- 18:39little clips. That's really funny to me.
- 18:42Like the the first little clip I sent to him was of this 2
- 18:51whatever AI things eating and one was eating really loud,
- 18:55right? And, and the AI was like, no,
- 19:00no, and it focused in and it had food coming out of his mouth And
- 19:05the the other AI character just couldn't take it.
- 19:08They're like, stop it, just stop it.
- 19:10And I sent it to him right. And then I laughed so hard at
- 19:15that. I went to the channel and I doom
- 19:18scrolled. These are just little clips,
- 19:20like 2030 second long. And I doom scrolled and I
- 19:24watched, I swear, years of this channel stuff, which is really
- 19:30funny. You don't have to like what I
- 19:32like, but I just found those like they make human moments
- 19:35really funny. Like we all know that one person
- 19:39that she was really loud, right? And we all know that one person
- 19:44that's just totally disturbed bind is chewing loud and just
- 19:50you just want to rip your hair out.
- 19:52So I ended up doom scrolling that that didn't help me.
- 19:58I don't remember if I had my glasses on.
- 20:01It was near me, but man. That's mine rocked, right?
- 20:07That's what people are saying. So it's not just the the blue
- 20:10light that's causing us to threaten our homeostasis.
- 20:16And it's literally a delicate art, just like the, you know,
- 20:20the universe. If we were 1° off from the sun
- 20:23or the the tilt of the Earth, it was 1° off.
- 20:26We all be extinct, but there will be no life or whatever.
- 20:29That's sort of homeostasis because keeping a balance within
- 20:33our own bodies chemically, emotionally, mentally, all this
- 20:38stuff, right? So sure, the blue light is just
- 20:42one aspect, but once we sort of put the Band-Aid in, in the, the
- 20:49hole in the dam and there's cracks everywhere.
- 20:52I'm like, look, we fixed this one, one spot that's right in
- 20:56front of us that we saw all this water pouring through while
- 21:00ignoring all the other things that are also doing the same
- 21:04stuff or maybe even worse. That's why I sort of had to, I,
- 21:11I had to poke at the irony of it all the almost it.
- 21:19It's sure that we we need to protect our eyes and but we're
- 21:24not protecting our mind. We're we're not protecting the
- 21:28fact that 32nd clips, whether they're funny or not, I don't
- 21:33care if you don't think it's funny.
- 21:36My son didn't. Well, you know what I say about
- 21:39that. He said I was old.
- 21:45Maybe so anyways, it it's not just about the blue light, it's
- 21:53about the ADHD we're getting from the 22nd clips that we we
- 21:58just keep going, keep going. And we, if we don't find what we
- 22:01want to find or we find interesting, we just, so there
- 22:06was a report that came out recently that this kid that made
- 22:10a Bible app, you can doom scroll the Bible, which I think is
- 22:14pretty cool saying on a daily basis, like people do 3 miles of
- 22:19scrolling, just doom scrolling, right?
- 22:21Can you imagine what it does, what it is doing to our mind,
- 22:25the neural pathways that are not being fortified or that's just
- 22:33destroying our concentration, our inability to comprehend
- 22:37because we're just whatever. Sure, it's really not comparable
- 22:43because if you compare like, Oh well, the damage it does, the
- 22:47blue light does to your circadian rhythm, which is it
- 22:52manages your sleep, wake cycles and all that, like all the
- 22:56different hormones that comes during the day and night and all
- 22:59this stuff. Sure, that's that's bad if you
- 23:06trigger different reactions in the improper time, but when we
- 23:10think about the rest of it, when we can't stop doom scrolling,
- 23:15'cause now we got this on it. It's just, it's sad because I
- 23:22use my phone as a coping mechanism, right?
- 23:25I, I listed it, It could be because I'm bored, It, it could
- 23:31be because I don't know, I'm just procrastinating on
- 23:37something like I really need to get this done.
- 23:40I'm like, I just don't want to, so I'll use my phone as an
- 23:43excuse or to occupy my time. Doesn't that also cause the
- 23:54disruption to our homeostasis? Because when we're
- 23:58procrastinating on things that needs to get done by not
- 24:02stopping this, right? Like just completely all day,
- 24:06every day, 24/7. Doesn't matter what time it is.
- 24:09You could be at work, you can be, I don't know if somebody's
- 24:12talking to you, that causes stress, right?
- 24:17Depending on what situation. And then the stress of the event
- 24:21can also trigger a chemical imbalance in, well, obviously in
- 24:28our lives. So it's not just about internal
- 24:34homeostasis, the chemical balances that we need to
- 24:39maintain so our bodies don't go crazy.
- 24:44It's all it's about also creating an environment that is
- 24:50facilitating to maintaining homeostasis.
- 24:55And obviously I use myself as the example because I'm the best
- 25:03one for so many. I mess up so much all the time.
- 25:14If you can. I don't know if you can say that
- 25:16I'm wise, but I have. The reason if anybody says that
- 25:20I could be wise potentially is because I've messed up and
- 25:24screwed up so much so in my life.
- 25:28I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I did that like at least
- 25:31half a dozen times or two dozen times.
- 25:34I learned that this is not the way to go.
- 25:37And this is not the first year I've had these blue light
- 25:42blocking glasses. It's been quite a few years.
- 25:46And I tell you that sense the safety, the safety, you all had
- 25:55it, it sure didn't help my, my not impulsivity, but rather my
- 26:06inability to control my, whatever, my bad behaviour,
- 26:16let's just say because dude, scrolling is really I, I believe
- 26:19is bad behaviour and it's addictive.
- 26:24It's, we are afflicted by this addiction to our screens, our
- 26:29phones, the content. And I talk about it all the time
- 26:33because like I say, I'm not just a member of the club.
- 26:37I am the president. For those of you who remember
- 26:43that commercial. So I, I noticed my behavior, but
- 26:51do I change it when I'm, there are times that I actually stop
- 26:56in my you got to step away. You're, you're doing the crazy
- 27:00that you, you've talked about. But there are times I'm just
- 27:03like, whatever, I just succumb to my own.
- 27:10I don't know if it's laziness or hedonistic behavior.
- 27:16There you go. And it's I just continued to
- 27:21doom scroll while, you know, with my performative protection,
- 27:26thinking like, Oh no, look, I'm being responsible.
- 27:29I am protecting myself with these things.
- 27:32And really, my mind is rotting and I I'm laughing at AI
- 27:38characters doing stupid human stuff where I guess I can laugh
- 27:45my own behavior doing stupid human stuff, but not, you know,
- 27:52I'm doing scrolling through more and more similar channels.
- 27:59Forget that I told you that I'm going to stop doing scrolling.
- 28:03So you know, once that gate is open, it's like a slippery
- 28:08slope. I'm not saying don't enjoy
- 28:10yourself. Like if something really makes
- 28:12you laugh, I don't see the harm in it, whether you agree with my
- 28:16humor or not. But you know there has to be a
- 28:23cut off. Too much is a good thing is a
- 28:27bad thing, right? Let's just keep it at that.
- 28:34So whether we think we are protecting ourselves, we
- 28:40shouldn't just focus what I've learned and we should not focus
- 28:45on this one aspect, 1 little percentage of something that's
- 28:50costing us like the the outcomes, like, oh, well, Lucy,
- 28:56I did this to do that to help me be better here.
- 29:00But we forgot the rest of the dam that's like all cracked.
- 29:04There's water pouring out. We just put, like I said, little
- 29:07Band-Aid on this one little hole that was trickling, thinking
- 29:11that all is well. But I don't want to promote
- 29:16paranoia either. Like sometimes you just got to
- 29:19live life with reckless abandoned, right?
- 29:22There's really dune scrolling. It will will we consider that
- 29:26when we're old and Gray and about to pass on?
- 29:30Will we think that's our lives were lived with the good
- 29:37reckless abandoned? Like go for it if you want to, I
- 29:41don't know, go hike the Appalachian Trail.
- 29:46I, I think there's like this is one of the hardest hiking trails
- 29:49you can do and you're prepared. You're like, well, I'm a little
- 29:53scared, but I'm going to do it because I think I'm going to
- 29:56find myself and you went. I would consider that a little
- 30:01reckless, abandoned, right? Like, so do something like that,
- 30:07like, oh, I want to drive a race car once.
- 30:09And most people are like, well, that's, you know, that's, that
- 30:13could be really dangerous. Well, do your thing, but it's
- 30:17doom scrolling part of it. It's just because you got the
- 30:20blue light blocking glasses on, right.
- 30:23It opens the door. Once we think, I hate to beat a
- 30:27dead horse, once we think we have done something to create
- 30:36advantages. It doesn't need to be protection
- 30:39like from blue lights, but then we have created some sort of
- 30:44advantage protection for whatever situation that we
- 30:50enter. We also have to be mindful of
- 30:54the complacency that comes with it, right?
- 30:57Because it's seldom does life give us these black and white
- 31:04singular issues or whatever events that we can, that we can
- 31:12do one thing and that covers all of it.
- 31:16Like, you know, the, the insurance that covers all of it.
- 31:20I don't think there's such a thing.
- 31:24Am I wrong? But I, I do find that once I
- 31:29give myself a pat on the back, like, look, oh, you adult today
- 31:33and you did something good for yourself.
- 31:35Now I subconsciously increase my hedonistic behavior like like
- 31:42100 times more because the little bit of something that I
- 31:49did good. So I used blue light blocking
- 31:53glasses 'cause now it's the big thing.
- 31:55Science is behind it and all this stuff and many people
- 31:59either use it or know about it and the benefits of it.
- 32:02I use this as as the example of the gateways that we open for
- 32:12ourselves into I guess more allowing ourselves more leeway
- 32:29to do what we were doing before. But now we can show people
- 32:35either show us like you don't have to prove to people like,
- 32:38oh, I have blue light blocking glasses and that's why I'm doing
- 32:41scrolling more even to justify to ourselves.
- 32:48We open that gateway to potentially a lot more harmful
- 32:53stuff if we didn't go and do this performative.
- 32:56I'm not saying this is performative for me, but a lot
- 33:00of the things that we do are performative to justify more of
- 33:05a certain behavior because, well, I did this so I can do
- 33:09that more of that. So this is a that Simpsons kid
- 33:17goes, I think this bully. I sort of laugh at myself, point
- 33:26out the absurdity of life and how, man, how we we can lose
- 33:35control so quickly of the when we open the door by doing
- 33:42something good for us and then heaping on a garbage load of bad
- 33:49stuff because then one little thing that we did good for us.
- 33:53Like, sure, you, you can go on a diet, right?
- 33:55You're like, well, I've dieted for like a month now.
- 33:58I'm going to go out and have a one of those days, the freebie
- 34:05days or a freebie. I'm going to have a freebie week
- 34:08and just load yourself up with everything.
- 34:10The little bit of good promoted, the justification for the heap
- 34:18of bad. It is what it is and it
- 34:24definitely isn't what it isn't. So that's what I wanted to
- 34:32share. Sure, I think these glasses are
- 34:35a good thing, especially if you have migraines like I do and
- 34:39have light sensitivity, but don't let it be the slippery
- 34:46slope of increasing what you were trying to change or trying
- 34:52to protect yourself from. So like I said, I'm actually
- 34:57president of the club and I have noticed as as I continue to get
- 35:04older that I'm more aware and I do beat myself up enough because
- 35:10I'm also OCD about beating myself up about my bad
- 35:18behaviors. I do beat myself up more about
- 35:22like, hey, just you got to stop, walk away.
- 35:25As hard as it is, it is. It is for me to do.
- 35:30I do pull myself away because I don't want to.
- 35:36I don't want to. Not because of the blue light,
- 35:40which is bad for me, but also spend all of my time on little
- 35:46screens, big screens, medium screens, looking at stuff that
- 35:50really don't interest me, where I can go do something like
- 35:54listening to music. That's always awesome.
- 36:01Go do something that interests me, that triggers the chemicals,
- 36:07the feel good chemicals that even if I laughed at really hard
- 36:12at that one little clip that the music is speaks me differently,
- 36:19right? That sort of thing is
- 36:22incomparable. No little clip can actually
- 36:27compare to what music can do for me on on a regular right all the
- 36:35time. So I don't know if if you find
- 36:40yourself using blue light, blocking glasses or whatever is
- 36:48comparable to whatever you're doing as the justification to
- 36:56increase what in your head, you know what isn't right?
- 37:03Pull yourself away. Maybe don't beat yourself up
- 37:07like I do in my own mind. Yeah, 'cause I hate to.
- 37:16I would love to have a conversation with people.
- 37:19And most of the time when I go outside, which I am not a free
- 37:25roaming chicken, I am in my own space 'cause I like it that way.
- 37:31So, but when I do go outside, it is hard to find anybody and
- 37:37sometimes they're walking or whatever, they're not looking
- 37:41down, doom scrolling. And that's an environmental
- 37:46homeostasis that only we as a collective can change.
- 37:53All right, enough of my enough of my dune scrolling, sharing of
- 37:58my observances of observances, observations of life, the the
- 38:08absurd stuff that I do. Yeah.
- 38:13Well, I hope some of you guys can relate.
- 38:18If so, just be aware of it. Awareness is the first step to
- 38:24making the change, right? So I'm aware of it.
- 38:32And I, I, I will try not to. No, you know what?
- 38:36There is no try. In the words of Yoda, I will
- 38:43decrease my doom scrolling, especially when I'm using these
- 38:49very protective glasses that that does mean some good.
- 38:55So hopefully I can have a, you know, conversation with people
- 39:02or a conversation that actually makes sense in my head.
- 39:08They're all little clips now of people chewing their food
- 39:11loudly. I think they're funny.
- 39:15So like I said, you don't have to like my humor.
- 39:19All right, that's enough of beating that dead horse.
- 39:23Anyways, I pray for you guys all the time.
- 39:27I really do. I hope you're doing well and
- 39:30enjoying the fall season and I will see you 2 weeks from now
- 39:36hopefully. I would have gotten some sleep
- 39:38and operator error is at a minimum.
- 39:41Thank you for putting up with my inability to read and tripping
- 39:47all of my words. So I will see you guys two weeks
- 39:50from now. Have a blessed day.
