- 0:00Hello and welcome to Blush, the world's first Wellness show
- 0:02that's actually entertaining. I'm Heva and I quit law so I can
- 0:06help you look and feel your best.
- 0:08Together we got into food, nutrition, all the latest
- 0:11Wellness trends. But we also laugh, get silly,
- 0:13drop a few F OPS and go on a million tangents.
- 0:17So if that sounds like your vibe, we're about to be best
- 0:19friends. Hello, happy Tuesday, happy
- 0:25almost new year, happy end of 2025.
- 0:29OK, I'm going to stop saying happy.
- 0:31So it is the last Tuesday of the month and usually we do AQ and a
- 0:36episode, but we're not going to do that today.
- 0:41We're really only going to answer one question today.
- 0:44And that question is, what the fuck is the future of Bosch?
- 0:50And you might be questioning that based on the title.
- 0:53So I'm going to tell you. So basically, I've given a lot
- 0:59of thought about what I want to do.
- 1:00I've done this podcast for over 5 years now, which is pretty
- 1:06fucking crazy, and through getting 66000 times through Sam
- 1:14issues, through everything that's happened, travel all over
- 1:18the world, etcetera, we've done 250 episodes which is pretty
- 1:23fucking nuts. I mean, whatever.
- 1:26And I've been thinking a lot about what is going to be best
- 1:33for the show, What's going to be best for you?
- 1:36What's going to be best for me? How can I not get too burnt out?
- 1:41How can I do the things that I love doing?
- 1:44OK, I'm going to stop beating around the Bush.
- 1:47Here's the deal. And I, I, I have given it a lot
- 1:50of thought and I've talked to a bunch of people and I think I've
- 1:54come up with a solution that's going to work for everyone.
- 1:59Starting we get off the calendar starting a week from today,
- 2:08which is I believe January 6th, 2026, also kind of unsavory and
- 2:16it's starting on January 6th of all days.
- 2:19But starting January 6th, 2020 sixth, there is going to be a
- 2:23big change in the show and that is the blush is going twice a
- 2:28week and once a week we're doing Blush Kitchen and once a week
- 2:34we're doing kind of like what we're doing right now, a little
- 2:37chit chat. Now Blush kitchen you're ready
- 2:41familiar with. Now I will say Blush Kitchen has
- 2:44it's a newer thing, right? I've only done a few episodes.
- 2:47It was an idea. I mean, it was, it was, it was
- 2:49something I'd been wanting to do for years and years and years,
- 2:52but it was something that I didn't implement until May of
- 2:57this year. So and then I believe I got sick
- 3:00in June. I got sick so many times this
- 3:03year. And so I missed that episode.
- 3:05So really we've done 6 episodes of Lush Kitchen, something like
- 3:09that. And it's, it's taken me a while
- 3:13to iron out the wrinkles and figure out exactly how it's
- 3:17going to work. But I think now we're in a
- 3:19really good groove with that, and I'm so fucking excited for
- 3:24the episodes that are coming out that are coming up.
- 3:27Like they are so fucking good. The recipes are fire, the
- 3:30production is fire. I have hired an amazing
- 3:35producer. She is just killing it.
- 3:38The content is so fucking good. It's the idea, the premise, the
- 3:43vibe is kind of like you're hanging out in the kitchen.
- 3:46You know how I feel like for women, there are two really
- 3:50formative bonding experiences. One that men could never, men
- 3:54would never understand. One is getting ready, like
- 3:58during your college and early 20s years, getting ready to go
- 4:03out, not even the pregame. It's like getting ready to go to
- 4:07the pregame to then go out. Like that type of vibe when you,
- 4:10you and your closest friends do your makeup together and you
- 4:14listen to music and you have pre pregame drinks and you're, you
- 4:18know, dancing on furniture. Like you have more fun getting
- 4:22ready with your friends than you do going out usually.
- 4:25And the other I think is when you're hanging out with your
- 4:28friends in the kitchen and preparing a meal.
- 4:32I think for a lot of people that they have that experience over
- 4:34Thanksgiving where you're cooking with your family and
- 4:37having fun. For the rest of us, our family
- 4:39dynamics are too chaotic and not too fun in those scenarios.
- 4:43But you know, a lot of people have that experience or, you
- 4:47know, I don't know, when you host a dinner party and your
- 4:50closest friend comes early to help you and you're just doing
- 4:54stuff together, just that fun vibe, cooking, hanging out in
- 4:59the kitchen, that type of vibe. And yes, you're cooking, but
- 5:03you're also talking about other things at the same time.
- 5:06You're just hanging out, you know, so that's going to be the
- 5:09vibe of Lush Kitchen. It's going to be like we're
- 5:12hanging out together, which is literally my favorite thing in
- 5:15the world is I was actually just thinking about this.
- 5:19We were in Connecticut over the weekend visiting some friends
- 5:22and we went out for lunch and then we came back and really
- 5:26there was just one person cooking.
- 5:28There was literally one person cooking, but all of us were in
- 5:31the kitchen just like hanging out, chatting, laughing, having
- 5:34side conversations, watching her cook.
- 5:36I offered to help a few times, but it was a pretty empty
- 5:39promise because I was our offer because I was literally sitting
- 5:43in Sam's dog bed with her, like making out with her and with
- 5:47their puppy. So it was kind of an empty
- 5:50offer, but we were all just hanging out in the kitchen
- 5:52together and laughing and having fun.
- 5:54And then at the end of it, we got to have this sick gas meal.
- 5:57So Blush Kitchen's going to be the same kind of vibe.
- 5:59It's going to be like we're hanging out in the kitchen
- 6:01together. You'll learn a recipe.
- 6:03You'll get to watch me do things that'll be silly and tangenty.
- 6:08And you know, you'll get something tangible from it,
- 6:10which is always a recipe at least, and usually some kind of
- 6:14nutrition information, etcetera. But it'll be vibes and it'll be
- 6:17fun. It'll be like we're hanging out
- 6:19together And then so that's well, OK, I'll get it to the
- 6:25schedule next. And then once a week you'll get
- 6:28a little bite sized episode from me.
- 6:30Now this has been in transition for a few weeks now.
- 6:35It kind of happened by accident at first.
- 6:38So one week I just put out a shorter episode.
- 6:42It just was I I, you know, I said what I wanted to say and I
- 6:46was like, why am I going to dilly dally?
- 6:47I'll just put this out. And I got so many messages from
- 6:52people saying that they loved the shorter episode size, that
- 6:56it just it was digestible as bite size.
- 6:59They could get through it. It wasn't, you know,
- 7:01intimidating that they would love the shorter episodes.
- 7:04I did a poll in my Instagram stories and I was shocked to see
- 7:08how short people actually like their podcasts.
- 7:11And the other thing is 1 big change I've made in my life this
- 7:16year is to try to be more present and not constantly seek
- 7:21out distractions. Like I'm someone who constantly
- 7:24has to fill empty space. I'm listening to so many
- 7:27podcasts. I always, I don't always have
- 7:29the TV on but I always have podcasts on.
- 7:31If not podcast then music. And if it's not podcast or music
- 7:34then it's the TV. And I've been trying to embrace
- 7:37more stillness and quiet time in my own life.
- 7:39So I feel like it's really hypocritical of me to be doing
- 7:43that in my own life but then be pumping out so much fucking
- 7:46content that takes so long to get through.
- 7:48Now, that being said, you are still getting twice as much
- 7:51content basically as you were before, but the Solo Me Talking
- 7:57episodes are going to be very much like a peek behind the
- 8:00curtain. It's going to be me alone.
- 8:04It's going to be a lot like what the recent episodes have been,
- 8:08shorter, digestible. We're not going to do the
- 8:11segmentea things at all. No more hot or not, no more Q&A.
- 8:15Now, that being said, we might still discuss a Wellness trend.
- 8:18We might. If you have questions, please do
- 8:21send them in. I might cover one of your
- 8:23questions, but it's not going to be this very formulaic
- 8:26structure. We're not doing foods that make
- 8:28you blush anymore, which honestly, I haven't even been
- 8:31doing for a while now. We're not going to do great
- 8:32faithfuls anymore, which I feel like at the end of the day,
- 8:35we're serving no one. And really came from a place of
- 8:39my own insecurity where I really felt like I had to do an hour
- 8:43minimum of content. And so having these segments was
- 8:47a way for me to almost pad the episode.
- 8:50But I'm realizing we don't need to do all that.
- 8:53And there are so many things that I wasn't talking about or
- 8:58doing episodes on because they just couldn't carry a full hour
- 9:02long episode. But now with this flexibility,
- 9:06there are things that I can cover and chat about.
- 9:08And I just I think the show is going to be so much better.
- 9:11I think you're going to get a lot more from the show and the
- 9:14solo just me talking episodes are going to be, they might be
- 9:23about anything. They could be about
- 9:24relationships. It could be about Wellness.
- 9:26It could kind of be any of the things that interest us because
- 9:31I feel like we have that relationship now.
- 9:33It's been 5 fucking years. Even if you're newer here, we
- 9:37have formed that bond, you know? So that'll be that.
- 9:42And then so let me get to the schedule.
- 9:46So starting a week from today, you're going to get your first
- 9:50podcast episode and these are going to be solo episodes like
- 9:53lower production, not like the quality is going to be good.
- 9:57The audio and video is always going to be good unless
- 9:59something goes really wrong. But I'm probably not going to be
- 10:02wearing makeup. You know, I'm probably not going
- 10:04to be done up. It's probably it's going to feel
- 10:05like we're just hanging out and chatting.
- 10:08And then Blush Kitchen is going to be more of almost like ATV
- 10:12show. So that's going to come out
- 10:13every Thursday. And I mean, I think, I think I
- 10:18think this is we've been having a lot of conversations about the
- 10:21Tuesday versus Thursday thing. So we're still going to have our
- 10:25blush Tuesdays, a quick little chat with us kind of at the top
- 10:28of the week and then later in the week on Thursday evening.
- 10:32And this one isn't going to drop at midnight.
- 10:34It's going to drop kind of at prime time.
- 10:36You get to get your blush kitchen, which you can then
- 10:39watch like a proper show. And thanks to the our amazing
- 10:43producer, it's going to be impeccable production quality,
- 10:47just like beautiful, girly, fun, comfort show kind of vibes.
- 10:53So yeah, that's the that's the future of Lush.
- 10:55That's what we have to look forward to this year.
- 10:58Am I scared? Yeah, I'm fucking terrified.
- 11:00It's going to be so much more fucking work.
- 11:03But I have never been more excited about something in my
- 11:08life. Like I really feel like this is
- 11:10my life's calling. I knew the very first time I did
- 11:13a Blush Kitchen episode, I was like, this is it.
- 11:15This is what I've always wanted to do.
- 11:18I think the, you know, being really transparent, it's, it's
- 11:23taken a few episodes to really get the feel for things and
- 11:27there was so much praying and meditating.
- 11:30Actually, do you remember last episode I was saying I would
- 11:33write in my journal and ask for guidance and stuff.
- 11:36A lot of that unfolded through the the signs.
- 11:40The butterfly thing was about Blush Kitchen and this direction
- 11:43to take it in the I didn't want to say it back last episode
- 11:48because I didn't want to reveal that I wanted to save it for
- 11:50this episode episode. But that's actually what the
- 11:52butterfly thing was about. And I asked for so many signs
- 11:55around that. And every time I just got the
- 11:57best, the most over the top yeses and just really getting
- 12:02the vision and the clarity down of exactly how it's going to
- 12:05work. And I think we have it down pat
- 12:07now and I'm truly so fucking excited for what this year has
- 12:14to offer. It's going to be a wild ride.
- 12:16I think that I don't know, I just want to take this moment.
- 12:20It's like, you know what I feel like I feel like a mom who has a
- 12:25toddler and is 9 months pregnant with the next child and you just
- 12:30want to soak up every moment that you have with the toddler
- 12:34before the next child arrives. That's kind of how I feel about
- 12:37you right now. It's like you're my OG baby and
- 12:40I want to hold on because I think that this year is going to
- 12:43be a really fun ride for us. And yeah, I'm really excited for
- 12:48what it has to bring. So I hope you're as excited as
- 12:52we are. Sam's very excited.
- 12:54She. She's been wanting to host a
- 12:58cooking show for as long as I've known her.
- 13:00OK, this is getting stupid now. Seriously.
- 13:03Happy new year. January 1st.
- 13:05There's nothing. I know it's a Thursday, but
- 13:07there's nothing. We're honoring the holiday and
- 13:10taking a fucking rest. And then I'll see you on January
- 13:136th. Bye.
- 13:20If you loved that episode as much as I hope you did, make
- 13:23sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss a thing and check out
- 13:26some past episodes while you wait for the new one to drop
- 13:28next week. And until next week, make sure
- 13:31to stay hunty out there.
