0:03
SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the Midlife Rebel Podcast.
0:06
SPEAKER_00: It's time to rewrite the Midlife story for women who refuse to be put in a box.
0:12
SPEAKER_00: Because maybe midlife isn't a crisis.
0:16
SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's an awakening.
0:22
SPEAKER_00: Today I'm joined by K-Margaret Solorio, author of Make Ease Your Vibe, certified Angel Reiki Master, and founder of the Home Frequency Reset.
0:33
SPEAKER_00: K-Margaret blends her background in biotechnology with intuitive energy, uh intuitive energy work, sorry, to help people clear energetic blocks in their homes and lives, creating more harmony and ease.
0:48
SPEAKER_00: She's also the host of the Intuitive Wisdom Podcast, where she dives into energy, healing, and conscious living.
0:56
SPEAKER_00: Welcome to the podcast.
0:59
SPEAKER_00: So great to have you here.
1:01
SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, looking forward to getting stuck in.
1:04
SPEAKER_00: How's it going?
1:04
SPEAKER_02: I am too.
1:05
SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much for having me.
1:07
SPEAKER_02: I'm very excited to be here.
1:08
SPEAKER_02: Great.
1:10
SPEAKER_00: Do you want to um kick us off by sharing a little bit about your story?
1:14
SPEAKER_00: I'm really curious as to how you got into this work.
1:19
SPEAKER_00: Like how did you realize that you were an intuitive person and that you had these skills?
1:26
SPEAKER_02: Really good question.
1:27
SPEAKER_02: And I feel like the aha has still come up where I realized, oh, you were doing, I was doing that as a kid, and it it was never presented that way.
1:35
SPEAKER_02: And I I did study biotechnology, so the energy work on some ways feels like a 180.
1:41
SPEAKER_02: Like I've always been the very practical, reliable worker.
1:46
SPEAKER_02: And this woo-woo feels the opposite, but somehow it's a balance for me.
1:50
SPEAKER_02: And a lot of the work feels like two sides of the same coin.
1:55
SPEAKER_02: It's it's saying the same thing with different words or coming at different ways.
1:59
SPEAKER_02: For me, the most recent big change was COVID, actually, which I'm sure changed all of our lives in one way or the other.
2:06
SPEAKER_02: But for me, it kind of tilted my world on its uh axis from horizontal to vertical, and suddenly I had to do everything all at the same time, and that didn't work.
2:18
SPEAKER_02: So I broke and I kind of got really frustrated because I used to be such a doer.
2:22
SPEAKER_02: I love getting things done, and I was like, this is not enough.
2:25
SPEAKER_02: You know, it kind of felt like I was dying.
2:27
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, well, I can either continue to live like this or I can figure it out and live to live and get back into that.
2:35
SPEAKER_02: I mean, nobody likes to really use the word balance anymore, but but that's what it felt like.
2:40
SPEAKER_02: Uh so I started meditating.
2:42
SPEAKER_02: Meditating was very difficult when I started, and then I just kept at it and got to a daily practice.
2:47
SPEAKER_02: And after a few years, um, from what I've learned so far, we all there are three ways to a spiritual awakening.
2:55
SPEAKER_02: You can either have that when you're a kid and hold on to it through into adulthood.
2:59
SPEAKER_02: You can go through a very traumatic event that leads you there, or you go through the slow mode like I did, and you start meditating, and years later you get with the program.
3:09
SPEAKER_02: But uh, that's kind of what happened to me.
3:11
SPEAKER_02: After a while, my hands would heat up after every meditation.
3:14
SPEAKER_02: So I look that up, and that was a sign of being an energy healer.
3:17
SPEAKER_02: And I got really curious and started following different teachers and see where I might fit.
3:22
SPEAKER_02: And I studied with a woman who does angel Reiki, so it's a combination of mediumship and Reiki work that really fit.
3:30
SPEAKER_02: And like you said, it kind of brought in that intuitive sense into everything because you're you're not only connecting and channeling, but there's a lot of learning, this discernment between the intuitive thoughts and the egoic thoughts, the lighter feeling energy and the heavier feeling energy.
3:49
SPEAKER_02: And so that led me to to working with people and in their energy fields.
3:53
SPEAKER_02: And I've always been interested in spaces.
3:56
SPEAKER_02: I grew up in a in a household that moved more times than I can count.
4:00
SPEAKER_02: And I used to call always say that was a negative and get really frustrated.
4:03
SPEAKER_02: But in this work, I was like, you know, that's given me a lot of experience of seeing and feeling different spaces.
4:10
SPEAKER_02: And and it brought that awareness to me that I could have that sense in spaces.
4:15
SPEAKER_02: So um the angels kind of brought that back to my attention.
4:18
SPEAKER_02: And I I basically prayed and I asked them, I said, Well, how can I use what I learned so far with all this wonderful Reiki knowledge and apply that to spaces?
4:29
SPEAKER_02: Because I'd love to help, but I don't know how.
4:31
SPEAKER_02: And so they kind of mapped out for me how I could use the kind of the chakra system and the energy healing and apply that to different rooms with a similar effect.
4:42
SPEAKER_02: And and that's what I've been doing since.
4:44
SPEAKER_02: Love it.
4:47
SPEAKER_00: Well, we're obviously going to talk about all of these things.
4:50
SPEAKER_00: Um lots of things.
4:53
SPEAKER_00: Um, and definitely want to dig much more into the the healing of our spaces, um, because it's something that we don't really think about very much.
5:03
SPEAKER_00: But I'm really curious to hear a bit more about your own personal journey.
5:08
SPEAKER_00: Um because your bio what's biotechnology?
5:13
SPEAKER_00: That sounds quite mainstream kind of it is, and it's very broad.
5:20
SPEAKER_02: So it's anytime technology and a physical limit uh living system come into play together.
5:26
SPEAKER_02: So um a lot of like I did a lot of DNA and cell work for my professors.
5:33
SPEAKER_02: I worked in wine country, my family are are winemakers in Germany, that side of the family.
5:39
SPEAKER_02: So I then went into like um alcohol as a fuel.
5:43
SPEAKER_02: Like there are lots of different systems where you're using living and tech.
5:47
SPEAKER_02: So it can to to amputee, like it can have a very big that that's a not specific word.
5:54
SPEAKER_02: Um, but you I always loved where that interaction, like where that meeting point is between two seemingly different worlds.
6:04
SPEAKER_02: So I think that's beyond the scientific knowledge that I learned that has carried through this idea of it's not there's not just one way of looking at things, we're not we're in this co-creation, we're not just doing it by ourselves, but there's factors that come together to make create the magic that we have.
6:26
SPEAKER_00: So when you were when you started meditating, were you kind of working online from home?
6:33
SPEAKER_00: That was that the situation.
6:35
SPEAKER_00: Um and that's how you sort of came across the well realized that you were getting that heat in your hands and and that journey evolved.
6:44
SPEAKER_00: Uh were you doing all of the doing all of the uh online working from home stuff?
6:52
SPEAKER_02: I was that started COVID and I also have children.
6:55
SPEAKER_02: So one was in school at that time, so you're kind of dual teacher and par and parent and worker and all the things all at once.
7:06
SPEAKER_02: It was it was a lot.
7:07
SPEAKER_02: So at the end of the day when I finished my uh day job hours, I would stop, I'd give the kids some TV time, and I'd say, okay, I need somehow to decompress.
7:18
SPEAKER_02: And I'd heard so much about meditation.
7:20
SPEAKER_02: I started by just setting a timer.
7:22
SPEAKER_02: And at that time, sitting a minute with my that released that fear of like, oh, I'm gonna miss something.
7:28
SPEAKER_02: So uh I did a minute with my own thoughts, and that was quite difficult.
7:32
SPEAKER_02: And then you kind of build up and get more, and I try guided.
7:35
SPEAKER_02: Tonal music works usually the best for me because it it sets the tone without overwhelming my thoughts.
7:41
SPEAKER_02: It allows me still to sift and sort, and I could slowly start to to find um that feeling.
7:50
SPEAKER_02: I think it all feels different for us, but that expansiveness or that inner peace or whatever.
7:55
SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it feels like my uh my arms and legs aren't really connected, even though I they are yeah, they're all these fun, or sometimes there's a pressure on my head.
8:06
SPEAKER_02: There are lots of different feelings to kind of know, oh, I've raised my vibration and I'm kind of in that zone.
8:12
SPEAKER_02: And then it was actually funny when I was studying for the to be an angel Reiki master, my teacher explained that meditation is a tool to get there.
8:21
SPEAKER_02: I had so banked everything on meditation, and I had my routine and I did it every morning, and I had my spot and my music, and I was like, what are you kidding me?
8:30
SPEAKER_02: That's not the goal.
8:31
SPEAKER_02: Of course, it's not the goal, but the point is you don't have to have all the you don't have to have a certain place or a certain music.
8:38
SPEAKER_02: You once you learn to connect, you can connect wherever you are, whenever whenever you want.
8:45
SPEAKER_02: And that is the point to check in and like keep up, you know, with spirit.
8:51
SPEAKER_00: Um I um I'm really curious to hear how your family took it.
8:58
SPEAKER_00: Because this is kind of this is work in progress.
9:02
SPEAKER_00: Big turnaround, right?
9:04
SPEAKER_00: Biotechnology, yes, angel Reiki healer.
9:09
SPEAKER_02: It's still in the midst of turning, I will say that.
9:12
SPEAKER_02: I haven't totally I've got a foot in each world at the moment.
9:16
SPEAKER_02: Um it's interesting.
9:19
SPEAKER_02: It's really uh it's all part of the lesson, isn't it?
9:22
SPEAKER_02: It's me learning to stop being such a people pleaser and actually show myself within my own family, which has brought up boundaries and brought up so many different things that's made our lives better.
9:35
SPEAKER_02: And the my favorite thing is when you lead by being yourself, it gives everyone else permission to be that themselves.
9:41
SPEAKER_02: I love seeing that example of like, you know, I was so worried to share something with my husband, and then he's announces he's gonna go do something he's always wanted to do.
9:49
SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh, this is so good for all of us.
9:52
SPEAKER_02: Um, I would say my kids are way on board.
9:54
SPEAKER_02: They're my biggest cheerleaders, and they are interested.
9:58
SPEAKER_02: It's maybe probably my daughter more than my son, but are happy to have all of these energy conversations or spiritual conversations.
10:07
SPEAKER_02: They're they're there for it.
10:09
SPEAKER_02: They ask and they wonder, and it it all brings such relief and positivity to everything.
10:15
SPEAKER_02: They're fun metaphysical conversations to have.
10:19
SPEAKER_02: Um my husband, I wouldn't say, is on board yet.
10:23
SPEAKER_02: He still thinks it's not real.
10:26
SPEAKER_02: You know, his father has passed.
10:27
SPEAKER_02: So when we talk about his father, that connection is there, and then there's um some, but for the most part, he's like, Well, I don't understand it, so you do your thing and I'll go be over here.
10:39
SPEAKER_00: Oh I just uh recognize, like I think for um a lot of women, especially around I don't know, obviously you don't know how old you are, but around this sort of mid-life age, you know, beginning late 30s, yeah, early 40s, taking us through quite a big journey, but there are there are these shifts that happen.
11:02
SPEAKER_00: I keep reading about that.
11:03
SPEAKER_02: Who knew menopause would bring these kind of things?
11:05
SPEAKER_00: I know, and astrological stuff going on as well.
11:07
SPEAKER_00: And I study astrology and gene keys and human design, so I'm really interested in that side of things, but I'm a personal trainer um by trade, and I have been doing that, you know, right through for the last 20 years, and so it feels like this very kind of just like you said, this masculine energy, and then this esoteric part of me that's coming out, and and um yeah, combining those two, trying not to ignore the fact that I am still both of those things, um yeah it's kind of interesting, but it's it's difficult to make the change, the leap between the normal thing, you know, where you earn your money and and the thing that you were actually being called to do.
11:58
SPEAKER_02: Yes, yes, and putting all of that learning where to put all the pressure, you know, because you're like, oh, I make good decisions, so I and my family are okay.
12:07
SPEAKER_02: Yes, but following your heart is also a good decision, and just because the path isn't clear doesn't mean you can't be that as successful or more, but letting go of that outcome, I have found to be the most difficult part.
12:19
SPEAKER_02: I was actually just having a conversation about that this morning.
12:21
SPEAKER_02: I in in that conversation, I realized I was putting my value in it.
12:28
SPEAKER_02: So it was very hard to let go of the outcome because then I had no place to put my worth.
12:33
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
12:33
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
12:34
SPEAKER_02: So once that has in the past few months, actually has been a big shift in in me, is that now that I don't define my worth on the outcome and I've I just enjoy the work I do.
12:47
SPEAKER_02: Um it it's it's the ripple effects are awesome.
12:52
SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm hoping the success is awesome too that's coming.
12:54
SPEAKER_02: But uh it's just within the day, the day itself seems more expansive.
12:58
SPEAKER_02: The the connections I have with my loved ones are that much better because not just present in the moment, but I'm up for more.
13:04
SPEAKER_02: I'm up for saying yes more because I'm not so tied to my schedule, which I think is the way that'll get me there.
13:10
SPEAKER_02: You know, there's more freedom that comes from not tying your worth to the outcome.
13:15
SPEAKER_02: And and I think some of that shift of the masculine and feminine energies allows me that space to own my own worth.
13:26
SPEAKER_02: And that helps everybody.
13:28
unknown: Yeah.
13:28
SPEAKER_02: Obviously me.
13:31
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's an interesting, interesting time for us, that's for sure.
13:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but it makes the second half of your life look so much better than the first.
13:40
SPEAKER_02: You know, when you're young, you just think everything is possible, I am the world.
13:45
SPEAKER_02: There, and then you think, well, when you're old, how could that be better?
13:48
SPEAKER_00: And then you get there and you're like, no, I'm much more excited about the next half than I I've started to realize that the the uh this part is the war the first part's the warm-up.
14:00
SPEAKER_00: It's like just trying the yeah, trying the things out, what works, what doesn't, and then there's there's a a process of uh well I'm in my just in my early 50s, so there's a process of of kind of like figuring out what you want to keep, what you want to give away.
14:23
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
14:24
SPEAKER_02: And uh and then But even exercise I found um like I did so many different things when I was young and I loved it, but nothing ever really stuck or was consistent.
14:36
SPEAKER_02: And now I have a routine that doesn't feel like a workout.
14:39
SPEAKER_02: I feel like me maintaining myself, you know, like I the benefits I still don't like working out, but I do it.
14:46
SPEAKER_02: And then afterwards, just the hell, like the mental clarity, the the sleep, the food, like everything goes so much better afterwards.
14:56
SPEAKER_02: There's like no conversation with my ego anymore.
14:58
SPEAKER_02: It's like, yes, we're gonna get up a little early and we're gonna do this because putting in the time, yeah.
15:04
SPEAKER_02: It's essentially it doesn't feel like working out anymore, it more feels like here's the body we have now, this is the way you maintain it.
15:11
SPEAKER_02: Go do it.
15:12
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, life's so much better.
15:14
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
15:18
SPEAKER_00: Let's can you talk a little bit about angel angels and angel Reiki healing?
15:25
SPEAKER_00: Had you before you started meditating in this um in the COVID years, and you sort of started to realize that you could tap into um these energies.
15:38
SPEAKER_00: Did you have any other practices?
15:40
SPEAKER_00: Did you consider yourself spiritual or a little bit, did you have a kind of little bit of woo-woo in you?
15:47
SPEAKER_02: Probably, but I don't think I admitted to it.
15:50
SPEAKER_02: I was always, you know, always had an aunt who was interested.
15:53
SPEAKER_02: And when I got my certification, I had an aunt who goes, Oh yeah, I'm a I'm a Reiki master too.
15:57
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, What, you know, I didn't know that.
16:00
SPEAKER_02: She goes on about so I think it was a little bit around me.
16:03
SPEAKER_02: There were, I can remember maybe twice in my life before that, like going into a spiritual bookshop and just loving it because there are just so many different things.
16:13
SPEAKER_02: Um, but I and I had gravitated toward religion as a young adult.
16:19
SPEAKER_02: I had sought that out through what was around me at the time was Christianity.
16:23
SPEAKER_02: So I'd had a Bible teacher and gone to Bible study and and and I had a lot of frustrations when I read the Bible.
16:31
SPEAKER_02: And now that I've understand more about how everything works, it's really fun to go read the Bible again because it makes sense to me.
16:38
SPEAKER_02: Whereas before I get so turned off by a lot of the masculine references and and and the literal translations, I couldn't understand the lessons.
16:49
SPEAKER_02: And now and I read it, I go, okay.
16:53
SPEAKER_02: I get metaphors, I get this.
16:54
SPEAKER_02: And it's like reading a whole new book.
16:57
SPEAKER_02: So I think it a little bit was there, but no, the angel thing is fairly new, and I can't believe I didn't know before because now it's so much part of my daily life.
17:06
SPEAKER_02: But I'll never forget the first time I learned about it, Archangel Michael, and I went out on my back porch and was watering the boxes, the plants, and um and I turned around to go back inside, and there was a black feather on the porch.
17:18
SPEAKER_02: And we'd lived there years.
17:20
SPEAKER_02: I've never seen a feather in our backyard.
17:22
SPEAKER_02: And and black uh birds are one symbol for Archangel Michael, and I went, oh, wait a second.
17:30
SPEAKER_02: And it was so tangible and real, like I couldn't explain away all the things I'd seen in my mind's eye anymore because there it was physically in front of me.
17:39
SPEAKER_02: And now, you know, I have fun with it and enjoy all the symbols, and I've read lots about it.
17:44
SPEAKER_02: So yeah, working with the angels is a gift.
17:47
SPEAKER_02: There are more angels um around us than cells in our bodies.
17:52
SPEAKER_02: There are just so many.
17:53
SPEAKER_02: And we learn about maybe the archangels, but there are many more, and they're there to help you.
17:59
SPEAKER_02: Free will is number one.
18:00
SPEAKER_02: So we always have a choice in everything, but you ask them to come help, and they're just waiting to come help.
18:05
SPEAKER_02: So it's really fun to learn to ask for help and to understand that this co-creation is happens in little moments and big moments.
18:17
SPEAKER_02: There's no shame in asking for a nice parking spot at the grocery store and enjoying that.
18:21
SPEAKER_02: You know, it gives you that validation too.
18:24
SPEAKER_02: Um, but also getting to work with loved ones on the other side, that's so powerful.
18:32
SPEAKER_02: Um, even my own loved ones.
18:35
SPEAKER_02: Uh, I have a cousin who passed away who we shared a birthday.
18:39
SPEAKER_02: And so our symbol is our birthday, uh, like the numbers.
18:43
SPEAKER_02: And so whenever I see those randomly, well, it feels random, pop up throughout my day on a receipt, on the clock, on here, on there.
18:51
SPEAKER_02: I always like, woohoo, thank you for helping me today.
18:53
SPEAKER_02: And it's often on days I need more help, you know, where I'm having a low day and it's just heavy or difficult.
18:59
SPEAKER_02: So I'm always grateful and talk to her.
19:01
SPEAKER_02: She, I don't know.
19:03
SPEAKER_02: It's it's just it's fun to live in a world where you see that there's more, because we forget we don't see it, you know.
19:11
SPEAKER_02: We forget the trees talk to each other even though they're doing their thing.
19:14
SPEAKER_02: And there, there's so much more.
19:16
SPEAKER_02: It makes it more dynamic and it also gives you that through line of life.
19:20
SPEAKER_02: I think I I respect people, I respect myself more, but I also respect all different people more because you can see they're all souls having a human experience.
19:29
SPEAKER_02: It's not, it's a lot less personal, it's a lot more we're all in this walking, trying to figure it out.
19:36
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
19:38
SPEAKER_00: When you um are in communion with the angels, is it an internal dialogue that you experience, or do you do you converse out loud?
20:35
SPEAKER_02: I don't converse out loud, it's in my mind.
20:38
SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm a visual person, so a lot of it is visual in my mind's eye.
20:42
SPEAKER_02: So now when I do home sessions, I do them mostly remotely.
20:46
SPEAKER_02: So I don't actually often see the home itself, but I get a like a blueprint, a map of the layout of the home and the land around it.
20:53
SPEAKER_02: And then I go through each space.
20:54
SPEAKER_02: And at the beginning, I have I often maybe work with some crystals or I'll clear my own work area with sage and then I'll meditate and raise my own vibration.
21:04
SPEAKER_02: And then I'll start by asking who's there to help.
21:06
SPEAKER_02: And usually a few angels step forward and I'll write that down.
21:09
SPEAKER_02: And from my own work, I know, okay, if Archangel Michael is stepping forward, he's known for protection, he's known for helping us with our day-to-day.
21:17
SPEAKER_02: So maybe those themes are gonna come up somewhere in the session.
21:21
SPEAKER_02: Um, or I worked recently with a woman who lives like way out in the woods, and Archangel Ariel stepped forward, and she has a lot to do with nature.
21:29
SPEAKER_02: So these different themes come in.
21:32
SPEAKER_02: Uh, and then I hear.
21:34
SPEAKER_02: So when I hear my own intuition, it's like a whisper.
21:37
SPEAKER_02: So I'll often hear something when I'm connected, or I'll see it.
21:41
SPEAKER_02: I see colors, I see objects, um, whatever.
21:46
SPEAKER_02: It's almost like a movie screen in your mind, kind of.
21:50
SPEAKER_02: Um but usually seeing.
21:52
SPEAKER_02: It's rare that I smell or taste something, but that those senses come in sometimes too.
21:58
SPEAKER_02: Wow.
21:59
SPEAKER_00: And how do you prevent the rational mind from taking over the voice of the characters?
22:08
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay.
22:09
SPEAKER_00: Don't be silly.
22:10
SPEAKER_00: You're imagining things.
22:12
SPEAKER_00: Do you did you get that?
22:13
SPEAKER_00: Did you ever get that?
22:14
SPEAKER_02: Oh lord, yes.
22:16
SPEAKER_02: Um, so many times.
22:17
SPEAKER_02: So that's where that's learning that those egoic thoughts are they literally feel heavier now that I can sense the energy of them.
22:26
SPEAKER_02: Whereas there's this lightness to the intuitive angelic thoughts.
22:31
SPEAKER_02: There um, the ego also is just kind of heavy-handed in the comments.
22:36
SPEAKER_02: Like the ego doesn't really share loving positive messages to me very often.
22:41
SPEAKER_02: You know, it's like, hey, why aren't you doing this?
22:43
SPEAKER_02: Hey, shouldn't it be this?
22:44
SPEAKER_02: Oh, you don't want to mess up.
22:45
SPEAKER_02: You should give this type of information.
22:47
SPEAKER_02: And so now that I could feel that forcefulness and identify it, it's easier for me to discern.
22:54
SPEAKER_02: But now that I've done it enough, also it my ego kind of melts away during the session, and it's not an argument.
23:02
SPEAKER_02: I'll get an argument still when for me personally.
23:05
SPEAKER_02: Like um, I think I was in the grocery store a couple of weeks ago and I forget what it was, but let's say it was ketchup.
23:11
SPEAKER_02: I walked past the ketchup and went and I heard, oh, you should go get some ketchup, you're almost out.
23:16
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, that's not on the list.
23:17
SPEAKER_02: I get really overwhelmed in the grocery store.
23:19
SPEAKER_02: So I make a list, I stick to the list, and I get out.
23:21
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, that's not on the list.
23:23
SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna keep going.
23:24
SPEAKER_02: But I could hear myself arguing with myself, and I was like, oh, stop.
23:30
SPEAKER_02: That was there to help you.
23:32
SPEAKER_02: And sure enough, I didn't get the ketchup, and two days later we ran out and the kids were whining.
23:37
SPEAKER_02: But so that happens.
23:38
SPEAKER_02: So I I still argue with myself for my own intuition.
23:41
SPEAKER_02: I'm still learning to trust it unconditionally.
23:45
SPEAKER_02: Um, but maybe I never will, because we like you said, with the masculine and feminine, we have the ego and the intuition.
23:51
SPEAKER_02: There's a constant back and forth.
23:54
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I think um I guess for you when you're working with people, the confirmation that what's coming through for you and how that affects them is kind of like the proof of what you what you're feeling, experiencing, intuiting.
24:16
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
24:17
SPEAKER_02: And I sometimes I miss that.
24:18
SPEAKER_02: So when I worked with people directly, though we kept the lines of communication open because I understood the messages weren't for me.
24:26
SPEAKER_02: So I'd bring something through and wait for them to acknowledge it or accept, receive it, and then I then the messages would keep going.
24:34
SPEAKER_02: Like it was almost like the spirit needed to hear their acknowledgement before more came through.
24:40
SPEAKER_02: So there was this definite middlewoman feeling now that I'm not communicating with anyone while going through the home space.
24:49
SPEAKER_02: It's just faith.
24:50
SPEAKER_02: You know, I I I've seen it happen enough that I know it's good and gonna help.
24:56
SPEAKER_02: So I I just say, okay, I'm gonna write down everything that comes up and share it.
25:02
SPEAKER_02: And then the I always give a a report after a couple of after the session to my clients so that they have all my notes for each room and see any little suggestions or comments about the space and the energy clearing.
25:15
SPEAKER_02: But I do again, I'm still always growing.
25:19
SPEAKER_02: So I think there was one, I did a clearing where um a woman wanted more abundance and opportunity to flow.
25:27
SPEAKER_02: She felt kind of stuck.
25:28
SPEAKER_02: And the front entryway, the kind of driveway up to her home, I could sense was was cluttered and heavy.
25:36
SPEAKER_02: And the angel showed me pictures of like old car parts.
25:40
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, okay, most people don't have car parts in their front yard.
25:45
SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna guess that's the sign of like things you don't use.
25:50
SPEAKER_02: You know, there it there's something in the front yard that can be moved to the back that won't impede the flow of energy.
25:56
SPEAKER_02: And I'm gonna write that note down.
25:58
SPEAKER_02: And so I did.
25:59
SPEAKER_02: I wrote it more general and I sent it to her, and she wrote back, Oh yeah, my uh boyfriend's a car mechanic, and he has all these old car parts out in the front.
26:08
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, Oh, I should have said it directly.
26:11
SPEAKER_02: You know, you know, it's not always a metaphor for things.
26:14
SPEAKER_02: They're often just like, yeah, here.
26:16
SPEAKER_02: Wow's what's there.
26:18
SPEAKER_02: You could move.
26:20
SPEAKER_00: I want to get more into um talking about the all of the things to do with um cleansing and healing our spaces, but I also want to talk about your book because I feel like so.
26:33
SPEAKER_00: The book's called Make Ease Your Vibe.
26:36
SPEAKER_00: And I feel like just from the bits I've read the um around your book, I haven't read the book itself and the thing, some of the things that you've spoken about already, that you had uh you were a doer and a to-do later.
26:56
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I can get a lot done.
26:57
SPEAKER_00: And even when you mentioned your meditation and how you had your time and your place and you did it with the time, like you like a beauty structure.
27:07
SPEAKER_02: I do.
27:08
SPEAKER_02: I'm a girl in the world.
27:08
SPEAKER_00: I've had to learn to create it for myself, yeah.
27:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
27:12
SPEAKER_00: But there's an easy way to do it because I feel like there can that we can put a lot of pressure on ourselves if we don't get the things done on our to-do lists, if we don't have the routine.
27:23
SPEAKER_00: Um that can kind of affect our fluidity, can't it?
27:29
SPEAKER_00: Can you talk a little bit to the to what your book's all about?
27:33
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the book kind of reflects the first three years of my journey.
27:37
SPEAKER_02: So it was me getting up to to speed, kind of.
27:41
SPEAKER_02: I I knew life didn't need to be so hard.
27:45
SPEAKER_02: I knew I was good, I knew I was working hard, and I didn't understand why it was so stressful.
27:51
SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, like I'm not new in getting up and going to work and taking care of my family.
27:56
SPEAKER_02: Like I do this every day.
27:57
SPEAKER_02: Why is it such a struggle?
27:59
SPEAKER_02: So it's mindset, time, and energy strategies that help bring ease as a normal part of your everyday.
28:08
SPEAKER_02: One of my favorite parts was time.
28:10
SPEAKER_02: So I used to wake up in the morning and before I even got out of bed, it felt like I put armor on and it was me against time for the rest of the day.
28:20
SPEAKER_02: It was just like, oh, how can I beat you?
28:22
SPEAKER_02: How can I make this happen?
28:23
SPEAKER_02: How I've, you know, just a race and fight.
28:27
SPEAKER_02: And and that's the cosmic order you're putting out to the universe.
28:31
SPEAKER_02: So I would say, oh, I don't have enough time.
28:34
SPEAKER_02: I don't have enough time.
28:35
SPEAKER_02: I don't have enough time.
28:35
SPEAKER_02: That's how I walk through the day.
28:37
SPEAKER_02: And then the universe is unconditionally loving.
28:40
SPEAKER_02: So if that's the call you put out, the order you put out, then the universe brings it back and you have extra spills and extra, I don't know what's and extra traffic that help bring you that sensation of not having enough time.
28:54
SPEAKER_02: Uh, so I learned time is squishy because if you put out a different message to the universe and not just sometimes it starts by just saying the words, but then eventually you feel it and that's what does it.
29:07
SPEAKER_02: You set that magnet for I have more than enough time.
29:11
SPEAKER_02: Either way, we're gonna get there.
29:13
SPEAKER_02: We can enjoy it a little bit, or well, we can I can yell the whole time.
29:16
SPEAKER_02: I'm thinking of my morning routine still.
29:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so then that changed.
29:21
SPEAKER_02: And then, you know, different people pitched in and it went better, or I noticed something because I was calm, or things started to flow better.
29:30
SPEAKER_02: So it's having these little shifts that set the tone that help everything else.
29:36
SPEAKER_02: I I'm all about little changes that have big effect, even in the home energy work.
29:42
SPEAKER_02: So this is how I helped change my mindset, how and the energy piece, learning to manage my energy, that was new for me.
29:51
SPEAKER_02: And then time, this relationship with time, and knowing that it's not time as we know it is a human construct.
29:58
SPEAKER_02: And once I understood that, and I was like, oh, well, I can mess with, you know, then I don't have to just take it.
30:06
SPEAKER_02: And now when I wake up in the morning, I spend the first five minutes laying in bed being thankful, going, oh, this is gonna be a really great day.
30:14
SPEAKER_02: Hey, angels, wake up, let's do this, you know, and just enjoying it, not thinking about all the things I have to do, but just you know, enjoying that sensation of being alive and then see what happens.
30:27
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
30:28
SPEAKER_00: Time, gosh, it's such a thing, isn't it?
30:30
SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, I'm I'm touching it.
30:33
SPEAKER_00: But you were saying earlier how hard it was for you to sit down and do one minute of meditation.
30:39
SPEAKER_00: One minute.
30:41
SPEAKER_00: One minute.
30:42
SPEAKER_00: It was super painful.
30:43
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
30:44
SPEAKER_00: And it and it feels like it goes on forever.
30:47
SPEAKER_00: Forever.
30:48
SPEAKER_00: But a to-do list that we wake up in the morning and we're kind of like, these are the things I have to do.
30:54
SPEAKER_00: And you've kind of already wished away your entire day.
30:58
SPEAKER_00: Right.
30:59
SPEAKER_02: And and I talk a lot about the to-do.
31:01
SPEAKER_02: Well, you know I love a to-do list.
31:02
SPEAKER_02: So I actually talk about that in the book too, because the to-do list is not really fair.
31:06
SPEAKER_02: You know, sometimes you put something on the list that actually takes 10 tasks to complete.
31:11
SPEAKER_02: So you're you're setting yourself behind before you even started.
31:15
SPEAKER_02: And a lot of times we just add to the list because we want to get it done.
31:19
SPEAKER_02: But do we really need to get it done today?
31:21
SPEAKER_02: Like, could that be a once-a-week task and not like hang out on your list every day and make you feel bad?
31:27
SPEAKER_02: So, or is there a way you can automate stuff?
31:30
SPEAKER_02: So you do it like I used to pay bills once a month once a week, and it stressed me out to know.
31:35
SPEAKER_02: And I've worked on my relationship with money now, so it's better.
31:38
SPEAKER_02: But now I also do it once a month and it's a joy.
31:41
SPEAKER_02: I look at everything and I feel more connected.
31:45
SPEAKER_02: And I just when the bills come, I put them in a special envelope and then I sit down and do it all.
31:49
SPEAKER_02: It's more efficient, takes me less time, less stress.
31:52
SPEAKER_02: So little shifts like that that can help make it better, make you feel good.
31:58
SPEAKER_00: So your book's not about doing more, it's about just changing perspective on what you're doing.
32:07
SPEAKER_02: It is changing your strategies and changing your perspective and your yeah, perspective is a great word.
32:13
SPEAKER_02: But I found that as I did that, I accomplished more, which was very odd for me because it logically doesn't make sense.
32:23
SPEAKER_02: Right, which is like the time is squishy thing.
32:26
SPEAKER_02: It also does not make sense if you think about it on at the face value, because we think of time as so being so linear.
32:33
SPEAKER_02: But if you think of the like life is what you experience, the emotions are what's important, and you know, have those experiences where you're having a great time and five minutes can feel like five hours, you know, it it can go both ways.
32:49
SPEAKER_02: You can have a great time and five hours can feel like five minutes, you can have a terrible time, and like you said, with the meditating at the beginning, one minute felt like years, it was way too long.
32:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, this is where that we forget that how we experience the time is the valuable part.
33:06
SPEAKER_02: So if you can change the approach you have to your experience and what you value, if you start valuing your emotions and and valuing your energy and and where it goes and how you spend it, that can can help.
33:22
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
33:24
SPEAKER_00: If you could no pressure, but if you could kind of in a nutshell um tell us how your like what the outcomes of your book are.
33:35
SPEAKER_00: Because I could just ask hundreds of questions and then we won't get to the stuff about your your um space work.
33:46
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
33:47
SPEAKER_02: Well, I think the book is divided into those three sections.
33:51
SPEAKER_02: So kind of shifting your mindset on what is capable and and where the ownership lies.
33:57
SPEAKER_02: I used to, I grew up in a very much um kind of that victim mentality where the world happens to me and I need to learn to deal with it and make carve my space out of what's given.
34:09
SPEAKER_02: So shifting that from I own my own happiness, this is a co-creation with the universe, with spirit, however you want to say that.
34:18
SPEAKER_02: And at first that's incredibly scary because it's a lot of responsibility, and you think, great, I can really mess this up now.
34:24
SPEAKER_02: And then you realize it's actually an opportunity, and that that then gives you that freedom that which you seek in every moment to create systems that work for you.
34:36
SPEAKER_02: It doesn't have to be success for you, doesn't have to be what it looked like for somebody else.
34:42
SPEAKER_02: And also shifting from the outcome to, I used to despise when people say life is about the life is the journey, or you know, the like really happy people who say that all the time.
34:53
SPEAKER_02: Does it drive me?
34:54
SPEAKER_02: Just the present.
34:55
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
34:57
SPEAKER_02: But then you kind of go, oh, now I get it.
35:00
SPEAKER_02: It's not if you did if you withhold your happiness until you get to some kind of artificial outcome.
35:07
SPEAKER_02: Not only do you limit and narrow the options of getting there when we live in an incredibly abundant universe that can come up with more combinations than we humanly could think of.
35:17
SPEAKER_02: So it could be better than you thought if you leave the door open.
35:20
SPEAKER_02: Uh also that enjoying, again, that's putting the value on the experience, on getting there, understanding that like a champion is not made in the last championship game where they get the trophy.
35:34
SPEAKER_02: It's made in the hours and minutes, and every day they get up for years to become that champion, and then they got the trophy to show it, but they actually became it before that, like on the way.
35:46
SPEAKER_02: So I never thought of that that way.
35:48
SPEAKER_02: So that kind of mindset shift.
35:50
SPEAKER_02: We talked about the time stuff of how you can change how you approach the work you have to do.
35:56
SPEAKER_02: I've worked with a number of women who were moving from a day job to having their own business and then having that time and not knowing how to structure it, because a lot of times when you work for someone else, that your value is in the time your butt sits in the chair, end of story.
36:14
SPEAKER_02: Like, yes, you need to get stuff done, but that's not what's measured.
36:18
SPEAKER_02: Whereas when you have your own business, the value is in what you can deliver.
36:22
SPEAKER_02: So whether it takes you 20 minutes or whether it takes you two hours to get to that point, that's up to you.
36:28
SPEAKER_02: But allowing yourself the freedom of going, oh, I'm not less of a person if it took me 20 minutes, it's still valuable.
36:36
SPEAKER_02: So changing that relationship with time.
36:39
SPEAKER_02: And then the energy piece, which we've a little bit talked about too, is really caring about your experience and your emotions and understanding that your emotions are a um a message.
36:52
SPEAKER_02: So spirit is my favorite word for God universe source, but spirit is energy and communicates in energy, and emotions are energy in motion.
37:04
SPEAKER_02: So if you cannot, I used to get so angry.
37:07
SPEAKER_02: There was no space for emotions when I grew up.
37:10
SPEAKER_02: So I bottled a lot up and I didn't feel safe feeling my emotions.
37:14
SPEAKER_02: So for me, getting to that point where I could allow myself to feel things was big.
37:19
SPEAKER_02: That allowed me to understand myself better and connect with my intuition and all these things.
37:24
SPEAKER_02: So it's talking about how the energy pieces, how the emotions are here to help you, and how you can see that as a message from your body, from spirit, and not as something to derail you on your way to what you want.
37:39
SPEAKER_00: Or push down, shut out.
37:41
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
37:43
SPEAKER_00: Cool.
37:43
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it sounds great.
37:45
SPEAKER_00: So many nuggets in there.
37:51
SPEAKER_00: So this your journey so far has been what?
37:56
SPEAKER_00: Let's say what three, five, three, four, five years.
38:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, five years.
38:03
SPEAKER_00: And in that time, you've written a book, you've become an angel Reiki healer.
38:10
SPEAKER_00: Master, healer?
38:11
SPEAKER_00: Do we call it a master?
38:12
SPEAKER_00: Master or something.
38:13
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
38:14
SPEAKER_00: And now you've started healing spaces.
38:18
SPEAKER_00: Is that the right way to say it?
38:22
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I like the spaces.
38:23
SPEAKER_02: I work mostly with homes, but it also applies to like yoga studios or other other spaces as well.
38:29
SPEAKER_02: But I work mostly with homes.
38:31
SPEAKER_00: How has that journey itself unfolded?
38:34
SPEAKER_00: Like, because it seems quite they're all they are all interconnected, but like has there been a dissatisfaction with doing one thing, or is it just a kind of like there's more?
38:48
SPEAKER_00: Or did your angels kind of say you need to you need to do this?
38:55
SPEAKER_00: This is your path?
38:56
SPEAKER_00: Like, how did that feel?
38:58
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's a really good question.
39:00
SPEAKER_02: It's always felt like an evolution for the most part, where I started something for myself and then it kind of like, oh, you could do this on another level and help people, or you could do this on another level and do this.
39:13
SPEAKER_02: And so I explored that and that opened the door to the next thing.
39:17
SPEAKER_02: It's it's it's felt like an unfolding and evolution now that I'm through it and not impatient in it.
39:23
SPEAKER_02: But um the house thing was always kind of in the back of my mind.
39:28
SPEAKER_02: It would pop up and I'd say, I really want to do that, but I have no clue how to get there.
39:32
SPEAKER_02: And I'd go do something else, and then it would pop up again.
39:34
SPEAKER_02: And this most recent time when it popped up, I asked.
39:38
SPEAKER_02: I said the angels to the angels, so I ask and you shall receive is what they always say, right?
39:44
SPEAKER_02: But I found that once you're connected, you know how to connect to listen.
39:49
SPEAKER_02: So the intuitive side is the receiving mode.
39:52
SPEAKER_02: So when you pray, you ask, but it's a different mode to then receive the answer.
39:57
SPEAKER_02: I find it easiest to receive writing down because my ego would jump in and argue, and then I'll lose it.
40:03
SPEAKER_02: It's like a my son and I call them thought bubbles, like a bubble goes up and pops so easily.
40:07
SPEAKER_02: If you don't catch it, it's gone and you have no clue what it was.
40:11
SPEAKER_02: So writing it down and then reading it and absorbing the information I find helpful.
40:16
SPEAKER_02: But I often, when I remember, hopefully every day, ask the angel something or my spirit guide, and then I listen and I can receive the answer.
40:26
SPEAKER_02: So I asked when the house thing kept popping up, I said, That's all I always found that interesting, but I have no clue.
40:32
SPEAKER_02: How do I take what I know and apply it?
40:36
SPEAKER_02: And I and I literally just wrote down and kind of it mapped all out.
40:39
SPEAKER_02: So I could see how, like in Reiki, we use the major chakras, the major energy centers of the body, and they applied that to a home.
40:47
SPEAKER_02: And they said, Oh, look, if you think of it this way, that's how you can move the energy in this kind of space.
40:54
SPEAKER_02: You can connect the same way, we'll help you the same way.
40:57
SPEAKER_02: Um, that's how you can move energy in a space as opposed to on someone's energy field on their further body.
41:07
SPEAKER_02: So they helped me make those connections.
41:09
SPEAKER_02: And then the more I do, the more things come up and I learn.
41:13
SPEAKER_00: And do you prefer it to working with individuals on their bodies?
41:19
SPEAKER_00: Do you feel like this is your calling more?
41:22
SPEAKER_02: I do feel like this is my calling.
41:24
SPEAKER_02: I don't think I have the capacity to help people with their grief to the extent they need.
41:30
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
41:31
SPEAKER_02: I love it.
41:32
SPEAKER_02: I love being feeling useful.
41:33
SPEAKER_02: I love delivering messages, I love seeing the relief on people when they get to connect with a loved one they haven't heard from or been able to receive messages from that, and the information is always so personal.
41:47
SPEAKER_02: It's beautiful.
41:48
SPEAKER_02: I have I have seen some of the most beautiful things I could ever witness through that process.
41:54
SPEAKER_02: But I feel a lot, and I don't think I have the capacity to well help people through that emotional grief, because it's not just a matter of delivering the message, right?
42:08
SPEAKER_02: Then they got to deal with their emotions that come with it.
42:11
SPEAKER_02: So I appreciate working with spaces because it's a supportive arena for lack of a better word.
42:20
SPEAKER_02: You're doing your personal work, whether that's personal development or grief or whatever you're going through, working through, getting better, becoming you're the magnet.
42:31
SPEAKER_02: And then the space around it is reflecting it.
42:33
SPEAKER_02: Now we want to get the space around you to reflect who you're becoming and not who you were.
42:38
SPEAKER_02: So either catch it up to speed and clear it or allow for those new opportunities to come in.
42:43
SPEAKER_02: So I love being able to support people in that capacity with yeah, without working with the magnet directly.
42:51
SPEAKER_02: I totally get that.
42:52
SPEAKER_00: I just kind of one of the reasons that I like the the tools that I've been using, the astrology, human design, gene keys, because it's kind of like it provides someone with a map.
43:05
SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I'm I don't feel equipped either.
43:08
SPEAKER_00: That was kind of recognized that many of us are going through experiences of upgrading, spiritual awakening.
43:15
SPEAKER_00: Uh but there can be some release of traumatic experiences, however large or small they may be.
43:24
SPEAKER_00: And um yeah, it can feel a lot to be able to to hold that space for someone.
43:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
43:34
SPEAKER_00: It's good to good to acknowledge that that that's not that's not your thing.
43:41
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think so too, and I really appreciate it and I see its value, and I I I like being a part of it, but I think it's such an important thing that yeah, the each to our own roles or spaces, and I seem better suited and just enjoy it more.
44:00
SPEAKER_00: Can you talk a little bit about the correlation between the chakras in the the body compared to the chakras in the home?
44:08
SPEAKER_00: Do they relate always to the same, you know, is the is the home uh the lounge room, the heart space, for example, or does that correlate?
44:18
SPEAKER_02: It doesn't.
44:19
SPEAKER_02: I was expecting that.
44:21
SPEAKER_02: And every person in every space is different.
44:25
SPEAKER_02: So it feels more like a language through which they communicate with me.
44:31
SPEAKER_02: So if I go to a space and and then I see lots of green, and then I go, oh, I'm in the heart space of this home, and then I can feel around for that.
44:39
SPEAKER_02: Um so it's it's a it's a starting place and yeah, like a language to communicate.
44:45
SPEAKER_02: No, um, but no, some people the kitchen's the heart of the home, some people it's the living space, some people yeah, it's it's it's different.
44:54
SPEAKER_00: And so what is happening when someone comes to you for a home frequency reset?
45:01
SPEAKER_00: What why?
45:03
SPEAKER_00: Why why do you feel like they need it?
45:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, uh well, usually there's I think I need I think I need this.
45:12
SPEAKER_02: Right.
45:12
SPEAKER_02: Well, usually it's more is it it is a feel it's stuck energy.
45:16
SPEAKER_02: So anytime the energy um isn't flowing, and that can come across in different ways.
45:22
SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it comes across in in lack of clarity, in having difficulty connecting to your intuition, in not getting that creativity to flow, maybe in your work.
45:31
SPEAKER_02: Or I've had people come to me who are having trouble with relationships and they're at home within their family, and they've like, well, we've tried these new things, but we're in a new space, we're in a new home, and it's just off.
45:44
SPEAKER_02: And and can we clear the energy and see if there's anything there?
45:49
SPEAKER_02: Um, I'm trying to think uh the abundance, the flowing of a lot of people are working more from home.
45:55
SPEAKER_02: And so I had a a woman recently who was looking for that.
45:59
SPEAKER_02: She said, I've tried all these things, but like one application stuck and not really moving, and I I'm not feeling the opportunities are coming like they used to.
46:07
SPEAKER_02: Let's do a clearing and see if anything comes up.
46:10
SPEAKER_02: So it's feeling stuck in some capacity, and that energy not flowing.
46:16
SPEAKER_00: Do you would you consider stuck energy to be um potentially um spirits that are stuck in and and need help with moving through, moving on?
46:33
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
46:34
SPEAKER_02: In the past, I've always told spirit I wasn't ready to deal with that, and then I actually had that experience for the first time well two weeks ago.
46:41
SPEAKER_02: I cleared a home in London in England, and um that was one where there was relationship issues, and it was really fascinating for me because Spirit brought through her, the spirit who needed to move on.
46:55
SPEAKER_02: I got to help her go to the light and move on.
46:58
SPEAKER_02: Um, the emotions she was feeling were also the emotions that were issue with the people in the home.
47:05
SPEAKER_02: So then I got clarity on on what the difficulty was.
47:08
SPEAKER_02: So it was clearing out the space and then the angel and the spirit.
47:13
SPEAKER_02: Um, and then the angels brought through some suggestions of ways to kind of balance the energy and the space for for moving forward.
47:21
SPEAKER_02: But yeah, that does come up sometimes, and apparently now I'm ready to deal with it.
47:25
SPEAKER_02: It was fun.
47:26
SPEAKER_02: I think everywhere I used to get that not complaint, but worry a lot that there were maybe bad spirits or something.
47:34
SPEAKER_02: But it's angels only bring through loving and positive men energy energies and messages.
47:39
SPEAKER_02: Um, and in this experience, are are you a mother?
47:42
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
47:43
SPEAKER_02: Yes, okay.
47:44
SPEAKER_02: So for me, this experience was, you know, when you deal with a little kid who like doesn't sometimes not even little, have the capacity to kind of explain what the emotions they're feeling.
47:54
SPEAKER_02: And so they just like at you.
47:57
SPEAKER_02: And you could take it personally and get really upset, or you could just realize they're freaking out and you just gotta wade through it, and then you'll get to the other side and all be okay.
48:06
SPEAKER_02: That's what it felt like.
48:08
SPEAKER_02: Uh the spirit showed up about an hour before the session started and like right in my face.
48:13
SPEAKER_02: And I was like, uh, excuse me, you okay, this must be related to she must know I have an appointment.
48:18
SPEAKER_02: Oh, wow.
48:19
SPEAKER_02: And then she then right away I was led to that room where she was, and and and everything went through it.
48:26
SPEAKER_02: But it was really that feeling where I could tell the stuckness was that emotions that she didn't want to face and the scaredness.
48:35
SPEAKER_02: It wasn't her wanting to be mean to anybody or mean to me or haunt the house.
48:41
SPEAKER_02: She would just had these uh feelings that were unsatisfied, she didn't feel recognized in in different ways.
48:47
SPEAKER_02: And once we we could talk to her through that, she could make her transition and it was all fine.
48:56
SPEAKER_00: When you are doing a clearing, do you healing, clearing, what do I call it?
49:03
SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
49:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's energy clearing.
49:06
SPEAKER_00: Energy clearing.
49:07
SPEAKER_00: When you do a clearing for someone who's overseas, you talked about having a blueprint of their home or their space.
49:14
SPEAKER_00: Do they have to be present at the time of the clearing process?
49:21
SPEAKER_02: No, that's another thing I love.
49:23
SPEAKER_02: So I need three things to work.
49:25
SPEAKER_02: I want to know your intention because we all are at different points in our life and our spaces.
49:29
SPEAKER_02: And so the intention for the session or the clearing.
49:32
SPEAKER_02: Um, two, the blueprint.
49:34
SPEAKER_02: Like you said, I need a quick sketch of what the rooms are and if there's an outdoor space to go with it.
49:40
SPEAKER_02: And then three, if there are any particular areas of concern that I should be aware of or look for uh during the session.
49:47
SPEAKER_02: And then, no, I schedule the session, I do let my clients know what day it's happening.
49:53
SPEAKER_02: Uh so and I ask that they open a window during that day to let the energy release.
49:58
SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
49:59
SPEAKER_02: Um, but otherwise, no need to be present.
50:01
SPEAKER_02: I connect and and clear, and then um I send a report one to two days later of all my notes of of the information I received.
50:11
SPEAKER_00: Is it okay if they are there?
50:13
SPEAKER_00: Because obviously if you're working with someone, you're where are you?
50:16
SPEAKER_00: Are you in Canada or America?
50:18
SPEAKER_02: California.
50:19
SPEAKER_00: California.
50:20
SPEAKER_00: And they're in London and they're in bed when you're doing it.
50:23
SPEAKER_00: Is that okay?
50:24
SPEAKER_02: It is okay.
50:26
SPEAKER_02: I think um it it is uh in my experience, if you are more in tune with energy, if you're familiar with this work, I I worked with an astrologer recently and she really felt the energy shift.
50:41
SPEAKER_02: Most people I've worked with haven't noticed.
50:44
SPEAKER_02: Um, but she is very in tune with that kind of work, and she's been doing it a while, and she wrote almost right away and was like, Were you doing this?
50:54
SPEAKER_02: I felt this big, you know, and then she's like, I don't feel okay.
50:58
SPEAKER_02: I feel like there's this big energy moving.
51:00
SPEAKER_02: And I said, Yep, I did work.
51:03
SPEAKER_02: I wouldn't worry about it.
51:05
SPEAKER_02: Uh, definitely make sure your window is open, give yourself some grace and some rest.
51:09
SPEAKER_02: And and the next day she's like, Oh, I feel really great.
51:11
SPEAKER_02: So she kind of felt that energy move.
51:14
SPEAKER_02: I don't think most of us are that in tune to feel it, what not to worry about it.
51:20
SPEAKER_02: Um, but either way, uh it yeah, it's it's just moving through, it's moving that energy.
51:28
SPEAKER_00: You've got to be somewhat in tune to feel that you need it, though, in the first place.
51:36
SPEAKER_02: Yes.
51:36
SPEAKER_02: It yeah, it doesn't come up with people who aren't familiar with energy work.
51:40
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
51:41
SPEAKER_02: Um, but sometimes it comes, it still is a surprise.
51:45
SPEAKER_02: I don't think even if we learn that we each have our own energy fields and we care about energy management, we don't necessarily know that we have energetic residue and then it can build up in our spaces.
51:56
SPEAKER_02: Or we don't think about the fact that we have energetic ties to things.
52:01
SPEAKER_02: Maybe you've um oh, it can be all different things.
52:05
SPEAKER_02: For me, it was little things in the beginning like our cereal bowls or soup bowls in the kitchen.
52:10
SPEAKER_02: They were mostly chipped.
52:12
SPEAKER_02: And where I grew up, you did not throw anything away until you couldn't, you absolutely couldn't use it anymore.
52:17
SPEAKER_02: So energetically, when I saw them, I felt sad.
52:20
SPEAKER_02: I felt bad, it felt low.
52:21
SPEAKER_02: It kind of weighed on me.
52:22
SPEAKER_02: And I'd give everyone else the couple nice bowls and I'd keep the bad one for me.
52:26
SPEAKER_02: And then I felt even worse.
52:27
SPEAKER_02: And I'd see them when I washed them and when I all these things.
52:30
SPEAKER_02: And then I did some of this work and I realized, oh, right, I'm the adult now.
52:33
SPEAKER_02: I get to make the rules and I could just throw those bowls out, spend 20 bucks and get some new ones.
52:37
SPEAKER_02: It's been years, and I still love getting myself a bowl of cereal because I'm like, look what I did.
52:42
SPEAKER_02: I bought new bowls.
52:44
SPEAKER_02: You know, they're not that fancy, but it was a little investment that then even now I milk the good vibes from.
52:53
SPEAKER_02: So I think we forget that we have energetic attachment to things, not only that kind of dust energetic residue that builds up, but that there are little shifts that we can make that help release maybe things that hold us on to who we used to be and not who we want to be, or um don't allow the energy to flow through your home and and and feel that good, uplifted feeling in a space that is literally there to hold you and support you.
53:29
SPEAKER_00: Do people need to do anything after you have done a clearing?
53:35
SPEAKER_00: So, for example, do we need to smudge a room or put crystals in a room or a plant or like are there any things that you kind of guide your clients to to do post-clearing?
53:51
SPEAKER_02: Those are the suggestions that come through from the angels.
53:54
SPEAKER_02: So they will say, Oh, in this space, you know, it would really be balanced out by a little more light.
53:59
SPEAKER_02: Why don't you like you could think about adding a lamp or allowing lighter color?
54:05
SPEAKER_02: I they're always different.
54:07
SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it is crystals.
54:08
SPEAKER_02: Um, there was one that had like a high traffic area, and it was like, oh, like a nice salt rock that helps absorb energy would help maintain this space.
54:17
SPEAKER_02: Um, so there are little suggestions that come through on a uh deep home reset.
54:22
SPEAKER_02: So someone who's living in the space and not like one that's being cleared out to sell, I often I include a blessing.
54:30
SPEAKER_02: So intention is very strong.
54:32
SPEAKER_02: It's one of the most powerful tools we have.
54:34
SPEAKER_02: So that can help you to maintain.
54:37
SPEAKER_02: But in general, I would say just being in tune, caring about how you feel.
54:41
SPEAKER_02: And if you say, oh, you know, this doesn't feel great, maybe I'll open the windows and help the air flow through and that'll refresh the air.
54:48
SPEAKER_02: Or yeah, bringing in a plant or some flowers can can help lift up the vibe.
54:53
SPEAKER_02: Um, I use my top three are um air, so refreshing the air, light, making sure your lighting supports you, whether you're at working or like in the evening, having low light, not bright light, and and nature.
55:07
SPEAKER_02: So bringing in, like you said, a plant or that one I think is fun to think about your favorite sense.
55:13
SPEAKER_02: So I like my sense of sight.
55:15
SPEAKER_02: Having even like a picture of a plant really helps me.
55:18
SPEAKER_02: Could be the actual plant.
55:20
SPEAKER_02: Uh, if you like to listen to things that maybe you put like nature sounds in the background.
55:24
SPEAKER_02: So it's not something that interrupts your day, but it's just this little thing that that boosts, you know, or a scented candle if you really like smells.
55:32
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, cool.
55:33
SPEAKER_00: I've got another question, but I've I've realized that I need to go back and ask you about when you had that um spirit join you that you had to help pass through.
55:45
SPEAKER_00: Did the was it a couple, did you say, in London that that had requested your services?
55:54
SPEAKER_00: Um did they notice a difference in their yes.
55:59
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
56:00
SPEAKER_02: Yes, it would be much lighter and easier to communicate.
56:03
SPEAKER_02: And yes, from what I've heard so far, doing much better.
56:07
SPEAKER_00: Because I know that listeners would be like, you didn't ask about the whether it worked or not.
56:14
SPEAKER_00: Um you've created a quiz, haven't you?
56:18
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
56:20
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I wanted to share.
56:21
SPEAKER_00: I downloaded it and I haven't done it yet.
56:23
SPEAKER_00: But that's okay.
56:24
SPEAKER_02: It's a free quiz.
56:25
SPEAKER_02: It's there to start the conversation.
56:27
SPEAKER_02: So I think because so much of this is new to thinking about how we we all are energy and everything is energy, but then how it it affects you.
56:36
SPEAKER_02: There are um just a few questions that you get to ask yourself and rate, and then you get a little score and it tells you more.
56:43
SPEAKER_02: But the idea is to start thinking about those relationships of how you can work with the energy of your space.
56:50
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, cool.
56:52
SPEAKER_00: A little bit random as we draw towards our close, not really random, but like not specific, I guess, to to um the work you do, but more about your you um purpose.
57:07
SPEAKER_00: Have you felt um any kind of specific change in well you've obviously had a change in direction and you know this thing the the stuff that you're doing now, but what's your purpose?
57:26
SPEAKER_00: Do you know do you know?
57:27
SPEAKER_00: Do you think about it?
57:29
SPEAKER_02: I think about it all the time.
57:31
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
57:31
SPEAKER_02: Um my right now my preferred term is to be the lighthouse.
57:36
SPEAKER_02: So I've learned that where I used to be trying to dim myself and and people please and make everything work out, that now I can help the most by being the light, by being the lighthouse.
57:52
SPEAKER_02: Um, so still being reliable, still getting things done, but showing uh kindness and joy and and putting my money where my mouth is, so to speak.
58:03
SPEAKER_02: Like my actions, there was a big shift in the beginning of me changing my mindset and the things I said and the things I believed.
58:10
SPEAKER_02: But now it's about being that, that kind of switch from knowledge to wisdom and applying it.
58:15
SPEAKER_02: That's the lessons I'm learning right now and where I'm finding it.
58:18
SPEAKER_02: And I've always won't enjoyed being a leader in that capacity in in different areas of my life.
58:24
SPEAKER_02: But this is new because I also get with the spiritual and energy work, get to have the faith that it will all come together.
58:32
SPEAKER_02: Sometimes I think, oh, wouldn't it like you could really help a lot of people by becoming a politician and changing laws?
58:39
SPEAKER_02: But if you do this woo-woo thing, nobody will talk to you.
58:42
SPEAKER_02: You know, like there are all these different things I want to do.
58:44
SPEAKER_02: And I think, you know what?
58:46
SPEAKER_02: If I have all those thoughts, that's not helpful.
58:48
SPEAKER_02: If I focus on being me and more authentically and doing a job, a good job and being calm and having that energy and and supporting other people, all of those things come into play with being a good leader and being that lighthouse.
59:03
SPEAKER_02: So I I think I can encourage other words, others and what is it?
59:08
SPEAKER_02: What's that?
59:08
SPEAKER_02: Rising tide lifts all boats and be the tide.
59:12
SPEAKER_02: Um that's my joy.
59:14
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, beautiful.
59:17
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna um put, have we got you in the guest directory?
59:21
SPEAKER_00: I think we've if if we haven't, then you'll be in the guest directory.
59:25
SPEAKER_00: Um so that people can access all of your info um in one place along with this episode.
59:33
SPEAKER_00: Um is there anything you want to close with before we say farewell?
59:40
SPEAKER_02: Um, I think when you were asking me about my purpose, the other word that came to mind was kindness.
59:45
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
59:45
SPEAKER_02: So I think it's oh it's underrated in that if you're kind to yourself and choose the kindness in the moment to others and have that little bit of patience, that's another little choice that has big ripple effects in it.
1:00:00
SPEAKER_02: It sounds silly, but I think it's work to be kind.
1:00:06
SPEAKER_02: You know, it's not necessarily the easy choice, and you deserve it.
1:00:10
SPEAKER_02: Uh, you you know, you deserve to put goodness out and get goodness back times too.
1:00:15
SPEAKER_02: So um, yeah, give yourself grace and and be kind to yourself.
1:00:19
SPEAKER_00: Beautiful, I love it.
1:00:20
SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
1:00:21
SPEAKER_00: I've really enjoyed our conversation.
1:00:23
SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, thanks for joining me.
1:00:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, thank you so much.
1:00:27
SPEAKER_00: I had a great time.
1:00:28
SPEAKER_00: Hey there, Rebel.
