- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, right.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to the Billch Grove podcast.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to host him lines joined by Randy Aniston in a new studio.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_01]: What is happening here?
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: We had a little different, huh?
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: You guys did one in this room last week, but I wasn't here.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: And now that I'm here, I like it.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: We got a new decor.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: On the YouTube's, when you get a chance, but you can start seeing some changes.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I think you guys mentioned it a little bit last week.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like, look.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: Profit marketing solutions built to grow has been our name, our flag, our thing for decade.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, since 2016, 2016 we became a company at Profit.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: We were a marketing company and marketing solutions was part of our name.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: We started looking at that at last couple of years like, man, we really should make a change.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't know really what to do or how to do it.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: kind of making a quick announcement here you're going to start seeing a lot more of a gym business coach dot com that's going to be our new uh... name of our business doing business as right dba um...
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: Jimbusinesscoach.com is exactly what we do, where businesscoaches, four gyms.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: Go figured.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: And we got the domain in a Jimbusinesscoach.com and said, why don't we use that?
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: And so this kind of like how we kind of came to this point.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: But you're going to start seeing some cool stuff.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: Got a content studio here, guys.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to start seeing some workshops, some live stream stuff we're going to be doing.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: I've vested a lot of money in this room and excited to kind of share it with you.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: But that's down the road.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: You'll see some of that stuff in January.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: But we want to talk about today, guys, is your end.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like, 2025's coming to a close by the time you hear this episode, it's got to be the last week or two.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: And we're kind of like taking a look back.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: What did we notice?
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: What was the trends?
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: What did we see?
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: What exactly do we believe is going to happen now and going forward?
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: And what have we been saying this whole time, right?
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, one of the things that if you just listen to, I guess the years didn't pass.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, if you're a long time listener, if you're just hearing us for this first time, we've been kind of flying this flag of like holistic, um,
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: you know, services, right, string training, but recovery, but, you know, nutrition and blood were a hormones, you know, massage, stretch.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: All that's been kind of what we believe was the trends and you're starting to see it all come to fruition.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: Now, one of our good, uh,
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: You know, one of our clients, Evans is, has got seeing you stretch, he's taken off, bringing stretch therapy into gems.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: We're seeing an inception held with the blood work and hormone panels and all that stuff.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's really, as a bolt-on, obviously nutrition's been there for the long-term as well as supplements, but strength training being the foundation of the fitness programs.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: That is,
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: That is not changing, that is what we've been talking about, and really the one thing we were talking about before this episode was like, transversive foundations, and while
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: Strength training is the foundation of how you train a strength training is not necessarily going to be a trend because we we believe some of my private training is been the foundation of the last decade.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: And now literally you're seeing everybody else catch up.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's talking about some of my private training.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: How to train in a small group strength training or
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's become mainstream and it's like guys this has been a decade now.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: We've been flying this flag and we still are flying it We believe we believe you know You better move your model to this now You know before even the big box Jim start to catch up, right?
- 4:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that brings up a good point, right?
- 4:16[SPEAKER_02]: Like the old saying of like the best time to plan to tree was 10 years ago.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_02]: The second best is right now.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_02]: Look at your tile, look at your market.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, string training is becoming part of the conversation.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: It's becoming more recognized in the marketplace, even by our consumers.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: But it still hasn't taken full effect in the gym setting.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: So you don't see some of my private gyms popping up in droves like we did with large hoop training and things like that.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: At the same rate, obviously requires a little bit more equipment, a little bit more acumen when it comes to delivering that service and being able to train somebody that that method.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: But but take that for what it is, you still have time.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: You're still not behind the April.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's it's not the red ocean to jump into and at the end of the day to your point, this this a foundational way of training.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's not a trend, right?
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: Strength training isn't going away.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: The principles of building muscle.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't, I mean, sure, there's been progressions in what we know and how, but it's not changing to the point of, you know, coming and going, like other forms, before the show we were talking about some of the other brands that are trends.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: And they might pull from string training, but they do it in a unique way.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'll use CrossFit as an example, right?
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like there's string training components in CrossFit.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_02]: There's endurance components, there's MedCon components, but they wrapped it up and they put it their own spin on how to deliver that to the marketplace.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if you had a gym that was doing any one of those foundational components, aside from being an affiliate of CrossFit, I think you probably are a little better off than you are now if you became an affiliate and you kind of hook your cart to that horse if that makes sense, because you're at the whim of the success of CrossFit in the brand itself.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: And that was kind of the message that I wanted to get across was like be careful about the trends versus the foundational components of what you deliver to the marketplace.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I mean, if you think about how long we've been talking about this, it's been a decade.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, as soon as we started to the podcast, we were training this way in your gym long before that.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_02]: We believed that this is the direction.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: And one last thing when it comes to the conversation about semi-private versus small group, for example.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: Um, there is a, again, we don't have like a book of nomenclature in this industry.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: It'd be nice.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_02]: Someone needs to do that.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: Like the encyclopedia of fitness, right?
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: But a small group being a limited number of individuals typically still doing the work out of the day or a wad just progressions and regressions, weights, reps and sets.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_02]: Some of my private takes a one-step further, and this is where we believe the value really comes into play, is the individualized program for each client, right?
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: So we've got, we do six to one.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: Each of those six clients are on their own program, irrespective of just the progressions and regressions.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: You know, not walking in and everyone's not doing the same work out.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's completely different from, you know, all six of those individual.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: It could be.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where gyms get it wrong, right?
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: They just do large group wall style.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody one size fits all with less people and expecting the consumer to double or even sometimes triple what they're paying the gym and they're just not seeing the value there.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: You mentioned trends a second ago and you know it's funny.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: There's another trend coming right out of the CrossFit world is called high rocks.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_01]: If you probably see in this,
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: And this would be case and point trend, right?
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's a trend, it's a style of workout.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's this running and the functional training kind of like alternating competition.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: Your starting seat competitions pop up, your starting seat like high rocks, affiliated gyms.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: And we're certified in high, like,
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: just really be really careful guys yeah it's a trend right now and you may actually get a little bit of a bump of a bump of people looking for this but eventually it's gonna fade away and you're gonna be either you're gonna be switching again right something else is gonna come up you're gonna hook your car to that it's just like you kind of lose your identity you mentioned
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of good in what I'm seeing in this high rocks movement.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: You're getting people moving again, excited, you know, especially if they were in the cross kind of, you know, like kind of fizzled out and now they're looking for something new.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: This is a perfect step for those clients looking to get back moving again.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's a competition aspect, it's the camaraderie, it's the group aspect.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of good stuff there.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: But at the end of the day, it's a workout.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's a trend, it's a thing.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's not the foundational strength training, strength and conditioning that you could be hooking your heart, you know, your whole gym around that model and being there for decades.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, decades.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: Look, you know, you go back to like body building and then functional training and then, you know, it's kind of it all comes back to strength training, you know?
- 9:30[SPEAKER_02]: You'll see a lot of the girlfriend Monica, right?
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: I see a lot of those old 90s weightlifting videos of, you know, like when women's bodybuilding to hit the wrist can off.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's funny watching like all of that stuff like start to, again, it's trending, it's, it's, it's, it's, and I don't know why all of this on, you know, strange training.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: I probably just because it's, we're seeing the results like we're going back to the foundation, but it's funny watching like the 90s bodybuildings type.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: stuff be just as relevant in today's society in those it was back then.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's the the premise of the conversation is if you took away the name of CrossFit or high rocks and you looked at what they do
- 10:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's, those components are what we've associated our brand and built like a proprietary way of training around our method of staying training, around how we deliver staying training.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_02]: But we didn't attach ourselves to an existing or another agency, like a third party brand.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: And that's, I think, where the trend becomes slippery.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like you said, probably gonna get a initial boost by
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but it's going to fizzle out.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, do it if you want.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm just the point of the message is it's like, why not own something instead of, uh, worrying about like if the, uh, founder of high rocks is in a sex scandal and then all of a sudden nobody wants to do, you know, I mean, why don't you just do your own thing.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you know,
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: kind of going back in and it's looking back in time and looking at 2025 you know what else was such a big deal for for the fitness industry's GLP ones.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, I'm on journal and OZampic and all these ones that kind of came out and peptides are are flying right now.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: So even though the GLP one was a peptide, I feel like that was the introduction.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: what is this peptide thing and then the everybody starts looking at it and really quick guys peptides again another bolt on potential global wellness style thing it's uh that's also the wild west right now
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: where you get where you get your product from like you're gonna be liable as a gem to like hey, you know, you're supplying or telling somebody to put injectables into their body and like do you really want to put your name on that like do you want to take the
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: risk or the repercussions of that.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't know if I do.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I feel like it's literally the Wild West.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a laboratory right now.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: For sure.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, you can get peptides delivered to your door on these little vials and you mix it with water and you got these needles and it's like, what is happening right now?
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: And it's weird that it's just like,
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: Usher did.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we saw it like you know, was it a couple of years ago with sarm's like started to hit the market like that he and then right away boom, government government came in and said, all right, we've got to shut this down, you know, and but they're not doing it with peptides for some reason.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's interesting.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_02]: They're probably incentivizing some of that.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_02]: somewhere, right?
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: You know, okay, so you look at the GOP ones and you look at, you know, like basically everybody in your gym was taking it for a while.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: Whether or not they're still taking it, I don't know, there's now all these side effects that are starting to pop directly heads out and it's like, oh great, you know, what did you do to yourself, you know, your stomach lining or your paralyzed, you know, your digestive tract and all this stuff going on, it's like,
- 12:53[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you could ever stop a client from they're gonna do what they're gonna do.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: That literally was the easy button.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: If we're talking about like, to get a result, if we're talking about the kind of what's the word, the effort it takes to get the result.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: What does that, what I'm trying to say there?
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's the God ding it.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: anyone, anyone, anyone.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, keep going.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: If it's, if it's very hard for you to get a result, it's not appealing, right?
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like, unappealing.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: And what?
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: GOP warns was it was like really appealing I just got to put this shot at my stomach in a couple of a couple of times a week or whatever the hell the thing is and I'm going to lose weight yeah I'm telling you that's exactly right at the least resistance right and so now you're seeing the results in some of the studies coming out well like man 60% of that weight loss was actually lean muscle mass and you are
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: Fatter than you were if you're taking them from a true body fat percentage aspect, you lost more lean mass than you did body fat mass and their basal metabolic rate is down into the nothing and as soon as they stop, weights going to start coming back on, it's just like this side effect and I don't understand.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I do understand.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: I know exactly why.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: Because we're selling here as hard work, what GLP1s is selling is the easy button, right?
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: So if you, like, in 2025, you had to become an expert in all these drugs that your clients were taking and hopefully educating them in a way where it was like, hey, you're harming yourself, but we can help you re-refer some of this muscle, what wasting all that stuff in your gym.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was the strength training, right?
- 14:35[SPEAKER_02]: That was just going to say the same thing.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: And what was the solution for those that were taking it?
- 14:40[SPEAKER_02]: Strength training, right?
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: And so I remember when they hit the market and it became the thing, and all this kind of had the internal conflict, because
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: You know, being in the fitness industry, knowing what a gym and consistency from doing string training and putting in the work does for the result.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: It's there, right?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to stand the test of time.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: We know that that's the result that clients are ultimately looking for.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: it's a difficult path.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: But we had the choice of, you know, do we do we plan our flag in the ground and say, you know, we don't believe in the GLP ones?
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: We don't want our clients taking, it didn't matter what we thought.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: They're going to do it anyways.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: So as a business, I remember, like we kind of shifted and we're like, well,
- 15:22[SPEAKER_02]: If they're going to do it anyways, how can we best support them in it?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: And it went back to that strength training component, right?
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: Educating the client that it's muscle mass that you're losing.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_02]: The, I can't wait for us to finally get rid of a scale.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like, the scale is probably the worst thing for worse.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_02]: First of, yeah, for measuring health and in results and things like that.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_02]: But at the end of the day, that's what society looks at.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: That's what they've been doing.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_02]: We always go back to the number on the scale.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_02]: And so, client was getting that dopamine dump when the numbers are dropping off the scale, not knowing that it was, it was, it was exactly.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_02]: It was hurting them in the long run, bringing that education and then pair it with the solution that we provide to help combat that.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: And it could be a win-win in the end of the game.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: And kind of the final thing that I want to kind of mention here, and we had a guest on a keynote tech, and really hit home, and I've mentioned this on another episode as well.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think the biggest thing that could come out of 2025 going into 26, again, getting rid of the measurement of the leads.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right, look at maybe a body fat, but movement quality.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: I love the idea of owning movement quality for our clients as a result that we can deliver on.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_01]: I love that idea because there is literal things we do that have a direct result in movement quality that say weight loss, we can't really control because it's outside of the three, you know, the one hour, get with them, right?
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I love the idea of owning that metric as a
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: deliverable a promise something that we can promise to the consumer you come to us your movement quality scores movement quality in general range of motion is going to increase because of the work that we do together we can own that and as an industry I believe if we can just adopt that and we can probably also adopt
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: strength.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if we can adopt or own muscle mass, because the GLP went along, right?
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: You'd put that in your body where we just reversed everything.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: In diet, you know, little dirty things outside of our control for sure.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, move equality and strength.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: I believe, you know, nutrition has to do a strength and recovery and stuff.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think we own those two metrics as an industry.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: We can keep clients a lot longer than the transformational mindset of a weight loss kind of goal.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: And so I think that's what I would love to push out into this podcast and to really the gym owners listening like, you can't really control what your clients do.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: You can try.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: outside the gym like they're going to stuff their face or going to binge and go on a vacation and and booze up and eat bunch of cupcakes for for two months behind your back and then come in and be like you didn't get me results like that's kind of you're kind of in a catch showing to everybody wants accountability until they're held accountable.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: And so like, we discussed the transformation of versus lifestyle client, which we all, and everybody listening on the loves that lifestyle client, the client, that's that are the only goals coming to work out today.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't want to get on the scale and they want to be held accountable.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't want to talk about the, can't, Mexico trapeze, went off the rails.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: They just want to be appreciated for coming in today.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: And we can, we can own that.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: We can own movement quality.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: We can probably own strength if we, if we got a little bit deeper.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: And you nailed it with the retention aspect because at the end of the day, your promise to the consumer, your brand of promise, what you bring to the table, if you can deliver on that consistently like a movement quality, like strength, the things that we can control outside, you know,
- 19:10[SPEAKER_02]: on the other side of it would be the weight loss in the short-term results focused client.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: We can't control all of those things.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_02]: If we associate our brand promise with the controllables we have, every time we execute that, we reassure that client that they're in the right place.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: We can consistently show them a result.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_02]: that is in our control, aside from the things, you know, that with that traditionally we've always associated ourselves as gyms and in industry with and just using like, you know, use large group, for example, the reason that there is so much turnover and retention issues in that is because you can't control all of that, right?
- 19:54[SPEAKER_02]: MedCon has, has it's, it's legs, but somebody can
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: they can get to a point where they're metabolically conditioned to I mean how much greater conditioning are they going to get in that realm that the results start to fade and therefore the association with the brand that's delivering that result isn't as sticky right like Zack uses the term you know diminishing value over time the law of diminishing value
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: You can consistently increase somebody's quality of movement.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: You can do it consistently.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also looking at maybe even performance or speed or for athletes, you can kind of, you can promise some things there.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: You can promise some things there for athletes, but I guess what we're really talking about is,
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: general population.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, clients like the 40-in-over crowd that's just looking to just feel better, right?
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: And so, anyways, you know, if I'm going to hook myself to a horse or a cart or whatever, I'm going a strength training.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: And it's always been the foundation of everything that we're doing.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: Other trends pull from it anyway.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, why don't you just own that and then movement?
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: You know, look, look, guys, there's trends in this industry.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: You can go in any different direction that you want to go, obviously, um, but you have to look at the bigger picture, the long-term aspect, the things that we just talked about on this show, like literally these things, do you want to keep the clients for a long-term?
- 21:27[SPEAKER_01]: Are you hoping, or are you just looking to get a client a quick result?
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then get the next client in.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: It gets them a quick result because, but it comes to business.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: You could be the best trainer.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: You could be, you can get the better, in fact, the better the trainer you are sometimes, the faster you lose a client because you got that weight off them so quick.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: And so, I guess the long, long-tailed message here is, you know, like looking to the long-term future of your business, where, who's paying the most, staying the longest, who's the most joy to train, who, who is the easiest to convert and get out of the market, and the ones that are going to stay longer and pay you longer and build that relationship with your gym.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: find those clients and find the things you can deliver on over the long term and you're going to be in business a long long term.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: Amen.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: All right, guys.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's it for this wrap up of 2025.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: A lot hasn't changed while a lot has, right?
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there's been,
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: some peptides and GOP one stuff coming into the industry and now we're getting to see this trends with the high rocks, but in the global grand scheme of things nothing's changed.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's back to string training, it's semi-private and it's that long-term lifestyle client that you're looking for.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully that helps you kind of reevaluate going into 2026.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: We got a big year ahead of us.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm I'm seeing potential for massive growth.
