- 0:05Speaker 1: Appogiae production.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We begin today by acknowledging the traditional custodians of the
- 0:13Speaker 2: land on which we gather today and pay our respects
- 0:16Speaker 2: to their elders past and present. We extend that respect
- 0:19Speaker 2: to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's here today. Welcome
- 0:25Speaker 2: to the Grow and Glow Podcast. I'm Ashy, I'm Kiara.
- 0:28Speaker 2: This is a podcast where we learn, laugh, and level
- 0:31Speaker 2: up together.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Let's go deep, let the emotions flow, and find the
- 0:34Speaker 1: lessons to Grow and Glow. Nothing is off the table
- 0:37Speaker 1: with Grow and Glow, and we're here to be your expander.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Hello, guys, Hello, welcome back to Growing Glow far Out.
- 0:47Speaker 1: We've got a funny episode today.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I'm a little bit nervous you'll be in. Yeah.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I haven't read them all, but it's going to be funny.
- 0:53Speaker 2: It's going to be fine assumptions about us and you
- 0:56Speaker 2: guys wrote these in yeah, and they won't try No.
- 1:00Speaker 1: But before we get into it, we'll do a share
- 1:02Speaker 1: of the week. I've put a new audiobook that I'm
- 1:06Speaker 1: listening to and it's called Love and Respect and it's
- 1:09Speaker 1: about like intimate relationship. Now it is if you're not religious.
- 1:13Speaker 1: He does refer to God quite a lot and the
- 1:15Speaker 1: Bible and Jesus. But I just think even if you're
- 1:17Speaker 1: not religious, you just lean into that being the universe
- 1:20Speaker 1: or you know, outside of yourself, just love in general.
- 1:23Speaker 1: But it's just a messaging. It's basically around how men
- 1:27Speaker 1: deeply desire and need respect, but how women deeply desire
- 1:33Speaker 1: to be loved, and a lot of the time in relationships,
- 1:37Speaker 1: women will be like, oh no, he has to earn
- 1:38Speaker 1: my respect before I give love, and vice versa, and
- 1:42Speaker 1: how so many couples get into this trap where they're
- 1:44Speaker 1: not loving on each other and they're not respecting each other,
- 1:46Speaker 1: but both need to be unconditional. But yeah, it's just
- 1:49Speaker 1: so interesting the way that he breaks it all down.
- 1:51Speaker 1: He talks a lot about his own relationship. I just
- 1:53Speaker 1: love when people are vulnerable to share their experience the
- 1:56Speaker 1: shit they're mess you know, because we're all messy humans.
- 1:59Speaker 1: So I just really like and the author reads the book,
- 2:01Speaker 1: which I really admire.
- 2:03Speaker 2: There's nothing worse when there's like some rowbody you feel
- 2:06Speaker 2: so disconnected.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, hundred percent. So I really recommend this to any couple.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Steve's gonna read it soon as well, would like listen
- 2:14Speaker 1: to it. But love and respect It's awesome?
- 2:16Speaker 2: Is it?
- 2:16Speaker 1: By Dr Emerson?
- 2:18Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, cool?
- 2:20Speaker 1: Respect he desperately needs the love she most desires love
- 2:24Speaker 1: and respect, and also just helps me to be more
- 2:27Speaker 1: aware of the language I use the Steve like, respect
- 2:29Speaker 1: isn't a word that I say. I do respect him
- 2:32Speaker 1: so much, but it's not something I communicate with and
- 2:34Speaker 1: will communicate in words that I would like to hear. Yeah, unconsciously, Yeah,
- 2:37Speaker 1: I love you so much blah blah blah. But to
- 2:39Speaker 1: say to a man like I really respect you, I
- 2:42Speaker 1: really respect your hustle, and really respect how you take
- 2:44Speaker 1: care of us like that for them was just like melt.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:48Speaker 1: He's saying, you'll feel the shift in your men, how
- 2:51Speaker 1: much more like softer they are with you, and how
- 2:53Speaker 1: much well love they give to you when they feel respected. Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 1: just feels them right up.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah. I feel like whenever I say like proud to Kurt,
- 2:58Speaker 2: he really loves that too, yes, And I say like, wow,
- 3:00Speaker 2: I'm so proud of all you should be so proud
- 3:02Speaker 2: of yourself with like doing that the words yeah he is. Yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 2: but I don't feel like I say respect.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I don't. And women need it as well. He's saying,
- 3:13Speaker 1: it's not like men don't lean love and women don't
- 3:14Speaker 1: need respect, but primarily like you'll find that men really
- 3:18Speaker 1: desire to be told and like felt that they're respected
- 3:21Speaker 1: and we want to be loved.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Makes so much sense.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really interesting.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I love that.
- 3:26Speaker 1: But if you're not really just like he does refer
- 3:28Speaker 1: to that.
- 3:28Speaker 2: A lot, A lot of those feminine energy ones refer
- 3:30Speaker 2: to God as well, I find but I do the
- 3:32Speaker 2: same thing. I just yeah, you know, make it out.
- 3:34Speaker 1: What I would make it good for you.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I am going to share this new lipstick
- 3:39Speaker 2: that I have in loving They're like a lip gloss,
- 3:42Speaker 2: but they're not super glossy. They look glossy, but they
- 3:45Speaker 2: don't feel like really sticky or anything. It's the Mabeling
- 3:49Speaker 2: Lifter glosses. I went in and I got one shade.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I start off with silk, and then I went back
- 3:53Speaker 2: and I got like two other ones. I got Topaz,
- 3:55Speaker 2: which is a due apparently for like the fenty beauty losses. Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 2: and then I also got stone and I just really
- 4:03Speaker 2: love them. I've been wearing the like every day. They're
- 4:06Speaker 2: so nourishing on my lips. They feel really nice. So yeah,
- 4:08Speaker 2: that's my little share of the week.
- 4:10Speaker 1: We've figured out though, because normally when we come to
- 4:12Speaker 1: the podcast studio or we go out for dinner, I'm
- 4:14Speaker 1: always like, how do you still have lipliner and lipstick on?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Can you recommend that? Yes? Lipstick again? Because if you
- 4:20Speaker 1: want something to last all day, don't go gloss. We've
- 4:23Speaker 1: learnt this. You have to reapply all the time. Whereas
- 4:26Speaker 1: this Matt lipstick that Kiara has I don't like the
- 4:28Speaker 1: feeling of on my lips. However it lasts all day.
- 4:31Speaker 2: There's this lipliner and lipstick combo that I use, and
- 4:34Speaker 2: I get asked all the time, so write it down
- 4:36Speaker 2: if you want to know. I keep it in my notes.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It literally does not budge. But sometimes I just go
- 4:42Speaker 2: through phases where I like a bit more gloss. Yeah,
- 4:44Speaker 2: back and forth. But the Revlon Color Stay lipliner in
- 4:48Speaker 2: nude and the Maybelene liquid lip in the shade Loyalist
- 4:53Speaker 2: and with a liquid lip, I just want to say,
- 4:56Speaker 2: a little bit goes a long way, Like I have
- 4:58Speaker 2: had that last me so long. You like touch on
- 5:00Speaker 2: your lips and rub it in with your finger, Otherwise
- 5:02Speaker 2: it looks like cakey and just doesn't look just trust me.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And I was like, okay, I'll use it, and then
- 5:06Speaker 1: I put my heart away lip bym on top. Don't
- 5:08Speaker 1: do that any balm any if it makes it come off,
- 5:11Speaker 1: it does not last, so they're drier, but.
- 5:14Speaker 2: It always looks so nice, stays on instat.
- 5:17Speaker 1: To dinner and I'm like, how are your lipstill on? Yeah?
- 5:20Speaker 2: It lasts so well. Yeah, yeah, it's so good and
- 5:23Speaker 2: so good. All right, let's get into these assumptions.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, there's gonna be some that are true
- 5:29Speaker 1: and some that are not. And we thought we'd just
- 5:30Speaker 1: dive into them and chat about them.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So the first assumption someone said, without getting to know Ashi,
- 5:36Speaker 1: I just thought that she worked out all the time,
- 5:38Speaker 1: like all day, every day, all day, every time. It
- 5:41Speaker 1: could just been like hours in the gym. Just definitely
- 5:44Speaker 1: not true. Before I had TAJ, I was training six
- 5:47Speaker 1: days a week.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Gee, that's a lot. Yeah.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I was like, in my young twenties, your body and
- 5:52Speaker 1: handle it like I didn't have other responsibilities and body stresses.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:56Speaker 1: After I had TAG it went down to about three
- 5:58Speaker 1: to four days a week. Yeah, and then after Tarla
- 6:01Speaker 1: it was like a couple of homeworkouts, it really decreased.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I've always been active, like I'll always walk, always do
- 6:07Speaker 1: the app workouts at home, which you can go as
- 6:09Speaker 1: hard as you like or as lard as you like.
- 6:11Speaker 1: So it was good after Tyler to kind of ease
- 6:12Speaker 1: myself back into it. And I really took it slow
- 6:15Speaker 1: because I didn't want to do any internal damage. I
- 6:17Speaker 1: just wanted to get my own pace. But it's only
- 6:19Speaker 1: recently that I've really started to like push myself hard
- 6:22Speaker 1: again yeap, which is feeling really nice, but definitely not
- 6:25Speaker 1: all day every day.
- 6:25Speaker 2: How long do you spend at the gym when you go?
- 6:27Speaker 2: Usually on our max?
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that's including warm art, my workout and like a
- 6:31Speaker 1: little cool down.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah. This one random assumption, but I always thought you
- 6:35Speaker 2: were way taller than what you are. I am one
- 6:39Speaker 2: hundred and sixty centimeters for anyone who wants to know.
- 6:41Speaker 1: And I'm one seventy three, so you can see our
- 6:43Speaker 1: high difference is quite.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, and I always getther people meet me out and
- 6:47Speaker 2: about they will always go, wow, you're so much shorter
- 6:49Speaker 2: than I thought.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And a lot of my friends have said, wow, she's
- 6:52Speaker 1: so much more batiitue than what I thought, Oh really, Yeah,
- 6:54Speaker 1: like you're just a small make there you go little
- 6:56Speaker 1: and cambery.
- 6:57Speaker 2: You can't really tell. I guess, hey, like how tall
- 6:59Speaker 2: someone he is?
- 7:00Speaker 1: How And we strategically when we film together, I'll always
- 7:03Speaker 1: stand behind you so it levels out hide out a bit. Yes,
- 7:06Speaker 1: is if I stand in front of Kiara, it makes
- 7:08Speaker 1: me look way taller and bigger.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah, And I.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Feel like I'm naturally way bigger bones than you two,
- 7:12Speaker 1: so we have.
- 7:12Speaker 2: To kind of like yeah for trying to make it. Yeah,
- 7:15Speaker 2: And I feel like people get really shocked when we
- 7:16Speaker 2: do like the high different videos because people just don't
- 7:18Speaker 2: know because we do hide it quite well. And even
- 7:20Speaker 2: in photo shoos, all wear heels and you won't. So
- 7:22Speaker 2: we do stuff like that. So funny, so funny.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Next assumption I got is that you're not a religious person,
- 7:28Speaker 1: but you're very spiritual. And yes, I'm definitely not religious.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I wasn't brought up, you know, going to church or
- 7:33Speaker 1: believing in one religion. I think it's beautiful if you've
- 7:36Speaker 1: got something that you follow and that feels good for you.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But I just wasn't brought up like that. But I
- 7:41Speaker 1: definitely believe in the universe and angels and spirit, higher power,
- 7:45Speaker 1: high power, yeah, but not God as such.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, Yeah, I'm saying I didn't really grow
- 7:51Speaker 2: up in a very religious house or anything either. Gone
- 7:53Speaker 2: through phases in my life where I have gone to
- 7:56Speaker 2: church growing up, I think just to you know, navigate
- 7:58Speaker 2: different things where I kind of land online a youth
- 8:00Speaker 2: group and stuff like that. But yeah, when I was younger. Yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 2: but you know, growing up, I've just kind ofly not
- 8:07Speaker 2: what felt right for me. Yeah.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just so different, that's it. Like there's not
- 8:11Speaker 1: a wrong or right way to be.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's quite a controversial topic to talk about. People
- 8:15Speaker 2: get really I know this will get pushed back, I know,
- 8:17Speaker 2: but everyone you just do you. We are so happy for.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You, depending on your upbringing, where you've come from, your
- 8:22Speaker 1: family's beliefs, your culture. Like it's just so different everywhere.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I think every religion has like beautiful aspects about it. Yeah,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you know, yeah, yeah, but it's controversial, that's for sure.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Definitely, you have the most relaxed lifestyle, slow walks on
- 8:38Speaker 2: the beach, happy kids, twenty four to seven, et cetera.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'm jealous. I want to tell you what I feel
- 8:43Speaker 2: like my lifestyle is a lot more relaxed than it
- 8:46Speaker 2: used to be. But oh my gosh. I was just
- 8:48Speaker 2: talking to Ashually before about the noise stimulation in the
- 8:51Speaker 2: house and I was like, once or twice the out
- 8:53Speaker 2: the week, and even my headphones on when I'm cooking dinner,
- 8:55Speaker 2: and I'm like, Kurt, I'm tapping out because I get
- 8:57Speaker 2: so disregulated from all of the noise. Definitely not, I think,
- 9:02Speaker 2: because when I pick up my camera and jump on
- 9:04Speaker 2: my story or whatever, I do it tactically when the
- 9:07Speaker 2: kids are happy. You're not going to jump on there
- 9:08Speaker 2: when everything's chaotic.
- 9:10Speaker 1: And if they're having a tantrum, you're supporting them. You're
- 9:12Speaker 1: not going, oh, let me just kill you having a meltdown.
- 9:14Speaker 2: No, And also, like you know, jump on stories and
- 9:17Speaker 2: that when you go for a walk, because you've got
- 9:18Speaker 2: a second to yourself exactly. But there's definitely still stresses.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Running a business is definitely, as you know, yeah, as
- 9:25Speaker 2: she knows as well, it's definitely got things that you
- 9:27Speaker 2: need to be very on for, and you know, go
- 9:29Speaker 2: through seasons of being more busy and less busy, for sure.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And I feel like now too, we do really lean
- 9:34Speaker 2: on when it's less busy, trying to lap up a
- 9:36Speaker 2: bit of a slower life style, which is nice. But yeah,
- 9:39Speaker 2: I would think for having three kids and still juggling work,
- 9:44Speaker 2: I try to do something for myself every day, like
- 9:47Speaker 2: a walk or gym, But other than that, I don't
- 9:50Speaker 2: get too much more time for myself throughout the day.
- 9:53Speaker 2: But I am trying to lean more into that as well.
- 9:55Speaker 2: So even just having three kids and managing a household
- 9:57Speaker 2: like cleaning up, tidying up, like organizing school stuff, like
- 10:01Speaker 2: even to school stuff, homework and this and that, it's
- 10:04Speaker 2: just like.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah, cleaning, cooking and washing alone is yes, yes, machine broke.
- 10:09Speaker 1: So I've been going down to launch. Man. Oh it
- 10:11Speaker 1: is such a mission, a new one. But like anyways,
- 10:16Speaker 1: washing right, just never washing.
- 10:18Speaker 2: This is where I'll make everyone probably feel a lot better.
- 10:21Speaker 2: My clothes just don't go away. I think it probably
- 10:23Speaker 2: doesn't help that we have love ls roses. Like there's
- 10:25Speaker 2: a new item that has been put into my cupboard
- 10:28Speaker 2: every single day pretty much, so I have got folding
- 10:31Speaker 2: on the floor.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Get in your wardrobe like how because I do cleanouts
- 10:35Speaker 1: regularly and you sent me a couple of pieces, you know,
- 10:37Speaker 1: maybe once a month, but you get a new item.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well we donate stuff. We give heaps of stuff
- 10:42Speaker 2: to like sisters or friends. And then also I have
- 10:44Speaker 2: my preloved where I put stuff on there to move
- 10:47Speaker 2: it out. But especially in winter, I feel like it
- 10:49Speaker 2: gets so much because jumpers take up so much. Baby,
- 10:52Speaker 2: I've always just got clothes on my floor At the moment,
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'm just something like, this is just the way it
- 10:57Speaker 2: is right now.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, no matter who you follow on social
- 11:00Speaker 1: media and how perfect their kids look, kids are not robots,
- 11:03Speaker 1: human beings having a human experience, and the way that
- 11:06Speaker 1: they learn is to test the boundaries, to have these
- 11:09Speaker 1: big emotions, to see what's safe, like how safe am
- 11:11Speaker 1: I to fully express. That's a part of their journey. Yes,
- 11:14Speaker 1: So don't ever compare or assume that someone else's kids
- 11:17Speaker 1: are just perfect. I think twenty four seven, it's.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Definitely not a few months ago, like when I was
- 11:21Speaker 2: daily vlogging, like I got to spend four hours every
- 11:24Speaker 2: day editing the content and then filming every day. Yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 2: so there's phases in my life when I'm doing stuff
- 11:29Speaker 2: like that, like yeah, but yeah, in ebs and flows,
- 11:30Speaker 2: it depends how much capacity I've got When I've got
- 11:32Speaker 2: more capacity, I take more on. When I don't, I
- 11:34Speaker 2: cut back.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And we're more so leaning into slower yes than not,
- 11:38Speaker 1: Like we're more going to be slower than busy. And
- 11:40Speaker 1: just I feel like both of us, if there was time,
- 11:42Speaker 1: spare time, we would feel it with something else whereas
- 11:45Speaker 1: now it's like, oh, that's time for me to rest,
- 11:47Speaker 1: that's on the sun, that's time for me to catch
- 11:49Speaker 1: up with girlfriend.
- 11:49Speaker 2: We yeah, yeah, have a coffee in peace or just
- 11:52Speaker 2: sit down decaf, of course, but.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I love it. Okay, there was so many this is
- 12:00Speaker 1: the main one that came through. Just like you're rich,
- 12:03Speaker 1: like seven figures rich, you're wealthy, You've never with money,
- 12:05Speaker 1: you don't struggle to pay your bills. So much about money.
- 12:08Speaker 1: It's interesting because I don't feel like I'm a show
- 12:10Speaker 1: offye person with my I feel like my friend ounces
- 12:13Speaker 1: we own some property, like we're not uncomfortable. And there's
- 12:16Speaker 1: been times and periods in my life where we have
- 12:19Speaker 1: been very, very wealthy, cash in the bank, and then
- 12:22Speaker 1: there's times like you know, we bought our share of
- 12:24Speaker 1: Baseline last year, which was hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- 12:28Speaker 1: We then put hundreds of thousands of dollars into paying
- 12:30Speaker 1: the next six months worth of stock. We bought two properties,
- 12:33Speaker 1: so like, we've done well, We've worked really hard. But
- 12:36Speaker 1: ebbs and flows. I never know how much is in
- 12:37Speaker 1: my bank because it's always so different. Like I said,
- 12:40Speaker 1: there's periods where there's been cashing there, there's periods where.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Were we going to take big risks. That's it investing, and.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Yeah, investment goes out. So I was like, I wonder
- 12:47Speaker 1: where that comes from, because I'm not someone that's like
- 12:48Speaker 1: showing a lou Vuitton bag every second day on there or.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Like but and even your car, Like you've got a
- 12:53Speaker 2: beautiful car, but you've had the same one for a
- 12:54Speaker 2: long time.
- 12:55Speaker 1: For over ten years, you know. Yeah. I Steve actually
- 12:58Speaker 1: said to me a few weeks ago, he was like,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you're due for a new car, bab, it's been a
- 13:01Speaker 1: long time. He's like shit, And we worked it out.
- 13:03Speaker 1: It's like it's over ten years now that car, and
- 13:05Speaker 1: I still love it.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's such a great car.
- 13:08Speaker 1: What's your dream car if you can have any, probably.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Honestly a range drover.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 2: I like big cars, like having to face I love,
- 13:13Speaker 2: but I'm not like a real car car person, Like,
- 13:16Speaker 2: I don't spend that much time in the car. I
- 13:18Speaker 2: think if I was driving heaps every day, I would
- 13:21Speaker 2: appreciate it more.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah. But like, yeah, I like a big car. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: feel safe in a I like being higher up. Yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and I just feel safe with my kids. I love
- 13:28Speaker 1: the look of a boxing masculine car. I know I
- 13:31Speaker 1: want to be more feminine, but as for a car,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I feel safe and like, I don't know.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Like the look of it. I reckon they look really cool.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I would love to get a g Wagon. That's
- 13:39Speaker 1: probably my dream car, but I've heard they're not very
- 13:41Speaker 1: nice drive, so I'd probably go back to a Range Rover.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I've had a Sport and I've got a Vogue now,
- 13:46Speaker 1: and they're just the most luxurious, comfortable, smooth, beautiful cars.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Even for the ten years, I haven't had that many problems,
- 13:52Speaker 2: have you, which has been amazing.
- 13:53Speaker 1: I really haven't.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So he's got a Tesla and it's beautiful to drive. Yeah, Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I do love the Range Drover.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Love.
- 13:59Speaker 1: That was interesting. Most of mine came through about money.
- 14:02Speaker 2: You portray yourself as being really confident and but you're
- 14:05Speaker 2: really quiet and a bit shy.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Oh, interesting.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel like if I'm meeting someone
- 14:10Speaker 2: for the first time, obviously I'm a bit more reserved
- 14:13Speaker 2: because like I'm opening up and meeting someone. But I
- 14:17Speaker 2: feel like how I am on here is very much
- 14:18Speaker 2: how I am with Ashy. Yeah, like this is literally
- 14:20Speaker 2: both of us exactly how we are driving in the
- 14:22Speaker 2: car together. So I don't know, maybe if I'm meeting
- 14:25Speaker 2: someone for the first time or like if I've got
- 14:26Speaker 2: three kids with me and you.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Know, yeah, I wouldn't shy, I wouldn't.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Call me shy, I wouldn't call me very extrovert though, either.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I feel like I'm kind of somewhere in the middle,
- 14:35Speaker 2: right too.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, I think you're confident and comfortable enough to
- 14:38Speaker 1: like talk to people, but I also don't think you'd
- 14:41Speaker 1: be like crazy person at the party. No, just in between.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I guess you're kind of right because I'm neither like, yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 2: I'm right in the middle of the.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Time, not extrovert or introvert. You're ambivert I'm yeah too.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, this one's so interesting, and I really don't know
- 14:55Speaker 1: why this has come up. But no ethnic friends or
- 14:58Speaker 1: mixed with people of color. It's so crazy. That's so crazy.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Do they know that my partner's average. I was just
- 15:04Speaker 1: gonna say, like, literally, here's average. Yeah, and I've had
- 15:08Speaker 1: so many friends of color. Yeah, but I've shown on
- 15:10Speaker 1: social media too, so I feel like people that make
- 15:12Speaker 1: these comments maybe they're new to my page.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Maybe the thing with social.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Media too is I show some of my friends, but
- 15:18Speaker 1: some of your friends aren't even on social media.
- 15:19Speaker 2: They don't want to. You've got one of these questions
- 15:21Speaker 2: to assumptions too, like this, Yeah.
- 15:23Speaker 1: It's like what you see is what we are choosing
- 15:26Speaker 1: consciously to put on there.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Half the time in my when I'm with my friends,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I don't post because my phone's down and I'm present.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Back in my early twenties, yes we posted everything. But
- 15:35Speaker 1: as I've gotten older and more conscious, it's like, no,
- 15:39Speaker 1: people think, like, you know, if you haven't hung out
- 15:40Speaker 1: with someone for a certain period of time that you
- 15:42Speaker 1: just had this massive blow up. It was like I
- 15:43Speaker 1: caught up with them last week. I d you post
- 15:45Speaker 1: about it. Yeah, it's like that's saying it's like, oh,
- 15:47Speaker 1: did you even go to the gym if you didn't
- 15:49Speaker 1: like take a selfie the gym? I know what you
- 15:52Speaker 1: guys see is a very small snippet of our day.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Even if there's quite a few of the little frames
- 15:56Speaker 1: at the top, it's still probably five ten minutes max.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Out of a whole twenty four hours, one hundred percent.
- 16:01Speaker 1: If you had like tons of frames, I'd be like
- 16:02Speaker 1: fifteen minutes. Yes, my partner is average, and yeah I
- 16:06Speaker 1: have many friends of color. Yeah that's crazy, such a
- 16:09Speaker 1: silly assumption.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah, interesting, though, you don't share too much of your
- 16:13Speaker 2: friendship circles in fear of viewers being judgmental.
- 16:16Speaker 1: As in, people will judge your friends.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, no way, it's just the exact same
- 16:20Speaker 2: as you. Like, when my friends are over, I'm with them,
- 16:23Speaker 2: and sometimes like I'll do a little story of all
- 16:24Speaker 2: the kids playing and do a little tag. But eighty
- 16:27Speaker 2: percent of the time when I'm hanging out with my friends.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I'm not on my phone. Yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like even over the weekend, we put up
- 16:31Speaker 2: with a bunch of all of our friends, Like we
- 16:33Speaker 2: all got together, all families, didn't share it, like we
- 16:35Speaker 2: all just hung out. You know, I just had so
- 16:37Speaker 2: much fun kids playing, especially if.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You're with friends that aren't big on social media and
- 16:40Speaker 1: a bit private.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly right. Yeah, yeah, that's nothing against them, Like,
- 16:44Speaker 2: I absolutely love them.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Speaking your friendship, this one came through you jump through
- 16:50Speaker 1: friendships more than the average Joe. Not coming from a
- 16:52Speaker 1: place of hate. It's so interesting that people say this
- 16:55Speaker 1: because once again they just don't know. Like my closest
- 16:58Speaker 1: friends I've known since I was a teenager. Yeah, there's
- 17:01Speaker 1: definitely been a couple of friends that were there in mind.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I suppose my high of my career when we were
- 17:08Speaker 1: filming raw and when we were traveling and they worked
- 17:10Speaker 1: for me, and you know, we were joined at the
- 17:13Speaker 1: hip in that season and phase of our life. But
- 17:15Speaker 1: the friends that I'm deeply connected with now, like I've
- 17:18Speaker 1: literally known since I was a teenager and I'm thirty
- 17:20Speaker 1: six this year. Yeah, so I don't feel like I
- 17:23Speaker 1: swapped and changed friends. But I'm also very open to
- 17:26Speaker 1: new friendships like I was seven years ago with you,
- 17:28Speaker 1: But I've got my solid girls that I've been friends
- 17:30Speaker 1: with since I was like twelve.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I don't think it's also a bad thing. Am I
- 17:34Speaker 2: bad for saying that? I think that even if you
- 17:37Speaker 2: had friendships from when you were younger or older, wherever
- 17:39Speaker 2: you pick up friends, if they don't align or things
- 17:42Speaker 2: you're growing, you're changing, you're not doing things at the
- 17:45Speaker 2: same pace anymore. Like why I surround yourself with people
- 17:48Speaker 2: just because the bravery and the boundaries and the standards
- 17:52Speaker 2: that Like, if they're not aligned and not feeling good anymore,
- 17:54Speaker 2: that's okay too. I'll put it in her words, jump
- 17:57Speaker 2: through friendships. Yeah, yeah, you shouldn't have it on that's beautiful. Yeah,
- 18:01Speaker 2: if you can do that, you're not wasting their time,
- 18:03Speaker 2: not wasting your time.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Like that's the same as inter relationships. You wouldn't stay
- 18:06Speaker 1: with someone just because I really don't like it on
- 18:09Speaker 1: social media when I see people put down women for
- 18:12Speaker 1: like dating or you know, having different engagements, I'm like,
- 18:15Speaker 1: that's okay, Like it doesn't harm you if that person's
- 18:18Speaker 1: been engaged once or twice or they're getting married again
- 18:20Speaker 1: or having a second chance at love. Is that not
- 18:22Speaker 1: a beautiful thing that she decided that relationship didn't serve
- 18:25Speaker 1: her or her family or her life and shed No,
- 18:27Speaker 1: I want more, I want different, God on you. Definitely
- 18:30Speaker 1: the same with friendships. Yeah, but I honestly I do
- 18:33Speaker 1: have the same core friends that I've had for a
- 18:34Speaker 1: very long time. There's just been other ones that have
- 18:36Speaker 1: come in and out twenty and more season. I'm in Yeah,
- 18:38Speaker 1: that's it, which is cool. Yeah, you don't put petrol
- 18:40Speaker 1: in your own car?
- 18:42Speaker 2: I mean there are plenty of times when she has
- 18:44Speaker 2: I can do it.
- 18:45Speaker 1: I'm not doing it.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Who's doing it?
- 18:48Speaker 1: Someone have that as a service. I mean maybe one day.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Honestly, if there's someone at the pump that's willing to
- 18:53Speaker 2: do it for me, like, I'll take you up on
- 18:55Speaker 2: the off one hundred percent.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But no, I definitely perpetual on my own car.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Who sawd the stories when we were trying to get
- 19:00Speaker 2: the oil for action car?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Fut?
- 19:03Speaker 2: Yeah you were always pop at school? Isn't it so
- 19:07Speaker 2: funny of a thing as well? No? I feel like
- 19:10Speaker 2: I was super super shy, very not confident, would not
- 19:14Speaker 2: put myself out there all throughout school, very reserved. I
- 19:17Speaker 2: hung out the boys more than the girls. But I
- 19:19Speaker 2: definitely would not have called myself popular.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Yeah, not at all. Yeah. Yeah, you have a daily cleaner. No,
- 19:28Speaker 1: her name's actually literally I'm the cleaner. I'm the chef. No.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I have a cleaner though, and she's incredible. She's been
- 19:34Speaker 1: with us for like five years, but like even if
- 19:36Speaker 1: you have a cleaner once a week, say it's clean
- 19:38Speaker 1: for that day. When you have children, it is dirty
- 19:41Speaker 1: the next day it is. There's always new dishes, there's
- 19:44Speaker 1: always new to washing. Like we have animals, it's fur everywhere.
- 19:47Speaker 1: There's mess everywhere. Cleaner once a week is more for
- 19:49Speaker 1: those like deep cleans. Yes, it's like the day to
- 19:52Speaker 1: day never stops.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Our house for sand is did your old house used
- 19:56Speaker 2: to have that? Oh?
- 19:57Speaker 1: The sand.
- 19:58Speaker 2: It's like a daily thing that we have to vacuum. Yeah,
- 20:00Speaker 2: sand everywhere.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Oh funny, Okay.
- 20:03Speaker 2: This one it's giggling at. I assume you both smell
- 20:08Speaker 2: so nice all the time, not in a creepy way,
- 20:10Speaker 2: I swear, I said to Ashy. The worst we ever smell,
- 20:13Speaker 2: both of us is right here right now, Like whenever
- 20:16Speaker 2: we come to the podcast, it's so hot. We've got
- 20:18Speaker 2: like our big jackets on the lights on us. I've
- 20:21Speaker 2: like done a fresh tan a couple of days ago.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I'm a stinky girl. When we're at the poddy.
- 20:26Speaker 1: It's not super bad, but it just smells like sweat. Yes,
- 20:29Speaker 1: like it's not boh, it's sweat. If I lift my armor,
- 20:31Speaker 1: it just smells like I've been sweating.
- 20:32Speaker 2: But then like day to day at home, this doesn't
- 20:34Speaker 2: obviously I.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Got confidence on how nice I smell.
- 20:37Speaker 2: All I do do know well, then I use hardaway
- 20:40Speaker 2: as well, but you know, I use like my heart
- 20:42Speaker 2: away perfumes, the custard custard. I also wash my hair
- 20:46Speaker 2: every day, so I feel like Kurt always says me's like,
- 20:48Speaker 2: your hair always smells so good because I freshly wash
- 20:51Speaker 2: my hair. It's not the best thing to do, but yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 2: I feel like when I'm up here, though I'm a
- 20:55Speaker 2: stinky girl, I never smelling. I never noticed she's smelling,
- 21:00Speaker 2: but but I notice myself.
- 21:01Speaker 1: If I lift my arm up, I'm like, yeah, she's sweaty.
- 21:03Speaker 1: The next one is you. And still even never ever fight,
- 21:06Speaker 1: I really feel like there's a difference between fight, argument
- 21:10Speaker 1: and disagreement and even heat. Sometimes I'm like, oh, things
- 21:14Speaker 1: are a bit heated at the moment, or we're a
- 21:16Speaker 1: pretty ikey discussion, but as in fighting and screaming and
- 21:19Speaker 1: yelling at each other. No, back in the day, yeah
- 21:22Speaker 1: I had fire off for sure, but no, we don't fight.
- 21:26Speaker 1: But there can be ikey disagreements or they can just
- 21:29Speaker 1: feel like heat and just feel that energy of like
- 21:31Speaker 1: you struggling to like come in the middle.
- 21:33Speaker 2: And you can't understand each other.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Yeah, or you're feeling upset or resentful of something. But
- 21:38Speaker 1: it's just more conversations. I feel like I just need
- 21:40Speaker 1: time to like process it and chill out and like
- 21:44Speaker 1: just regather my thoughts and then I can have a
- 21:45Speaker 1: proper conversation. But I wouldn't use the word fight.
- 21:49Speaker 2: You never get angry at your kids.
- 21:50Speaker 1: I just had that one too, did you that you
- 21:52Speaker 1: don't get angry your kids or husband?
- 21:54Speaker 2: Yeah? So I had this conversation actually the other day
- 21:58Speaker 2: because I was chatting to Miline. I said, do you
- 21:59Speaker 2: feel like like I yell at you? And she says,
- 22:02Speaker 2: you speak in a different way.
- 22:03Speaker 1: So it's of different tones.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yes. So I definitely do that when I'm disciplaining, when
- 22:07Speaker 2: I'm geting aunt happy, like hey babe, you're not allowed
- 22:08Speaker 2: to do that. We can't do this because blah blah blah.
- 22:10Speaker 2: But I really don't feel like a yell anymore. But
- 22:12Speaker 2: that's just being well regulated. Like that's literally all that
- 22:15Speaker 2: comes back to for me.
- 22:17Speaker 1: I think if any parent is yelling, smacking anything, it's because.
- 22:20Speaker 2: They're stretched one hundred percent.
- 22:22Speaker 1: They are not regulated. They are at full capacity. They're
- 22:25Speaker 1: not handling themselves alone a little human. That's where the
- 22:27Speaker 1: compassion comes in. I've got a girlfriend who she smacks
- 22:30Speaker 1: her a little one quite often, and no judgment. I
- 22:32Speaker 1: don't smack my kids. But all me and Steve see
- 22:35Speaker 1: is she's stretched. She has no help, she's so tired
- 22:38Speaker 1: all the time, and I feel so sad for her.
- 22:41Speaker 1: So no, it's not the way that she wants to parent. Yeah,
- 22:43Speaker 1: and she feels guilt and shame around it. But I'm
- 22:45Speaker 1: just like, you're just so stretched, Like it's the only
- 22:47Speaker 1: way that you feel you can get control and get
- 22:49Speaker 1: your child to do what you want to do is
- 22:51Speaker 1: by doing that. Any responds to it now, Yeah, So
- 22:54Speaker 1: it's no judgment, it's just yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 2: That's all you've got. The capacity for.
- 22:57Speaker 1: More parenting is your own nervous and regulation. My more
- 23:01Speaker 1: regulation should be the better parent you can be.
- 23:03Speaker 2: I could not agree with that. More.
- 23:05Speaker 1: You regret the diet culture that you used to endorse?
- 23:08Speaker 1: How interesting? You know what? No, I don't, because at
- 23:12Speaker 1: that point in my life, just like I am now,
- 23:15Speaker 1: I was one hundred percent authentic. My whole career started
- 23:19Speaker 1: from me sharing what I was doing eating, training, how
- 23:23Speaker 1: I was living stories and like being on camera was
- 23:26Speaker 1: not a thing back then. Like I wouldn't say one
- 23:28Speaker 1: I was one of the first, but I kind of
- 23:29Speaker 1: feel like I was. I've been sharing my life for
- 23:31Speaker 1: a long time and I literally just openly shared because
- 23:34Speaker 1: I was getting asked all the time. That's how it
- 23:36Speaker 1: all started. And in that season of my life, I
- 23:40Speaker 1: wanted to look good in a bikini. I was doing
- 23:41Speaker 1: bikini competitions. I wanted to be the leanest, the strongest.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I wanted to push my bodies to the limit because
- 23:46Speaker 1: I was so passionate about that and that I had
- 23:48Speaker 1: a competitive nature. I grew up doing a lot of sports.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I loved that season of my life. It's not how
- 23:53Speaker 1: I live now, But I can't say I live and
- 23:56Speaker 1: regret for sharing my life and being authentic and honest.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to jump on there and say I'm
- 24:00Speaker 1: eating something or doing something, but doing the complete opposite
- 24:02Speaker 1: behind closed doors. That's how I was living. And for sure,
- 24:06Speaker 1: having a platform, you have a sense of responsibility, but
- 24:09Speaker 1: I also think the consumer and the watcher has a
- 24:12Speaker 1: responsibility to make sure they are following people that is
- 24:14Speaker 1: aligned with them. At their stage in their life and
- 24:17Speaker 1: what feels good for them. You need to take responsibility
- 24:19Speaker 1: for who you're watching, what you're consuming, and go on
- 24:22Speaker 1: a journey with your body and see what feels good
- 24:24Speaker 1: for you. How I train might not feel good for you,
- 24:26Speaker 1: or your body might not respond like some girls that
- 24:28Speaker 1: train hit seven days a week. I'm like, amazing, go you.
- 24:31Speaker 1: My body can't handle that anymore. So I don't follow
- 24:33Speaker 1: girls at train hit. I follow girls to do pilates
- 24:35Speaker 1: and yoga and waits. So I don't regret it because
- 24:39Speaker 1: I just I've always promised myself I'll be authentic and honest,
- 24:41Speaker 1: and I always have been.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Yep, you live in a big house and come from
- 24:45Speaker 2: a wealthy background. I love these ones my parents, honestly,
- 24:50Speaker 2: they've done such an incredible job. But when we were
- 24:53Speaker 2: really little, there was all of us living in a
- 24:55Speaker 2: one bedroom apartment. Then we also lived in the back
- 24:57Speaker 2: of my nun's house in a caravan. Through stages of
- 25:00Speaker 2: my life, I think I was about eight when we
- 25:01Speaker 2: were living with me and I she spoke about this
- 25:02Speaker 2: before living in caravans and now my mum and dad.
- 25:05Speaker 2: They have done very well for themselves, but everything that
- 25:08Speaker 2: I have got is from what I have done. Yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 2: I've got a couple like that, like saying like your
- 25:12Speaker 2: parents bought your house, your parents helped you with the renovation,
- 25:14Speaker 2: or Kurt's parents help with you know, the renovation in
- 25:16Speaker 2: this Yeah, I mean Kurt worked his butt off as well,
- 25:18Speaker 2: and he was in a very great.
- 25:19Speaker 1: And you guys position and then money since you were
- 25:22Speaker 1: like twenty, you didn't spend all.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well we invested in the house, yeah, block of land.
- 25:27Speaker 1: And travel, didn't do things. It was all to your home.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. So yeah, no, so it definitely did not
- 25:33Speaker 2: come from when I was younger a wealthy household. But
- 25:37Speaker 2: my mom and dad have done some smart decisions, and
- 25:39Speaker 2: so have Kurt's mom and dad. Like they've both done like,
- 25:41Speaker 2: you know, businesses and been really business savvy, which has
- 25:44Speaker 2: been amazing. So I think feel like that's probably inspired
- 25:46Speaker 2: me for sure, seeing them do those things. But you know,
- 25:49Speaker 2: everything we have done, we have done ourselves.
- 25:51Speaker 1: So good to be so proud of that. You're very
- 25:54Speaker 1: sexually out there and into kinky stuff with Steve. Steve
- 25:59Speaker 1: is such a private person. He would just I don't
- 26:01Speaker 1: think he listens to all these episodes. He would die
- 26:03Speaker 1: at how open I am going to tell himself? And
- 26:06Speaker 1: he's like, you actually share that because he's just so private,
- 26:09Speaker 1: Like if he could not be on camera for the
- 26:10Speaker 1: rest of his life, he would choose that. He's a
- 26:12Speaker 1: very private person. I mean, what do you compare it to,
- 26:15Speaker 1: like this girl that's commented that, like, what is her
- 26:17Speaker 1: version in her head of someone very sexual and very kinky.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I actually asked Steve this though, because when I read
- 26:23Speaker 1: this out, I said, would you describe me as very
- 26:25Speaker 1: sexual and kinky? He's like, You're very sexual, but I
- 26:28Speaker 1: wouldn't say kinky. Yeah, And I was like, what is
- 26:31Speaker 1: kinky to you? And he's like, oh, I don't know.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I suppose just doing things really out there and using
- 26:35Speaker 1: like whips and masks and like collars and choke holds
- 26:39Speaker 1: and just like kinkier stuff.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Yeah, a chain Kinky's just doing things that are out
- 26:45Speaker 2: of the normal for you. I feel like I would
- 26:46Speaker 2: be the same. Yeah, I feel like I'm not super
- 26:48Speaker 2: like kinky. I feel like going through phases where I've
- 26:51Speaker 2: been a bit more experimental.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, but I wouldn't say that. You probably
- 26:55Speaker 1: wouldn't see me like tied up with the chains with
- 26:57Speaker 1: a mask on getting whipped. That's not going to do
- 27:00Speaker 1: it for me.
- 27:01Speaker 2: No, But what about like tied up and stuff? I
- 27:03Speaker 2: don't mind himah they like I see some people probably
- 27:06Speaker 2: think that's kinky.
- 27:07Speaker 1: When was the last news handcuffs?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Like?
- 27:09Speaker 1: Never, long time before kids?
- 27:11Speaker 2: Probably Okay, maybe we're a little bit more kinky than
- 27:16Speaker 2: I know.
- 27:17Speaker 1: It is so different.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I feel like we're somewhere in the middle, you know
- 27:20Speaker 2: what I mean. I think so you are always so happy,
- 27:23Speaker 2: positive and giggly. I'm definitely not always so happy, positive
- 27:26Speaker 2: and giggly. But I feel like when I'm having those days,
- 27:28Speaker 2: I really go internal now, so you won't see me
- 27:31Speaker 2: online as much. I won't even talk to like my
- 27:34Speaker 2: friends as much because I know that I've got this energy.
- 27:36Speaker 2: So I'm like just trying to go internal. I know
- 27:38Speaker 2: that I'm more reactive. I listen to that, but I
- 27:41Speaker 2: feel like I am happy, positive and giggly most of
- 27:44Speaker 2: the time.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Yeah, how about you just mixed?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Depends on the day, depends on the season, depends what
- 27:50Speaker 1: I'm going through. Overall, I try to be a high
- 27:52Speaker 1: vibration though, like I consciously choose that each day, but
- 27:55Speaker 1: I also allow that if I'm having a bad day
- 27:57Speaker 1: or I'm going through something stressful, I fully allow myself
- 27:59Speaker 1: to sit in that and feel that. I definitely lean
- 28:01Speaker 1: on people around me more though. Yeah, like I definitely
- 28:04Speaker 1: lean on my friends, lean on Steve, lean on myself
- 28:06Speaker 1: as well. But I really love my support systems.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I'm a journaling Like, when I am feeling those feelings,
- 28:13Speaker 2: I kind of go more. You probably notice, Yeah, I
- 28:15Speaker 2: kind of retract and I like go internal.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Do My journey is sometimes you come to me.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, sometimes I go to you. But if I'm
- 28:21Speaker 2: feeling like I'm in a really triggered state, sometimes I
- 28:24Speaker 2: try to wait till I'm like cool down and then
- 28:25Speaker 2: I'll go to you.
- 28:26Speaker 1: It's an important skill to have to be able to
- 28:28Speaker 1: go internal, like we all should be able to self
- 28:31Speaker 1: sue like do it ourselves for sure, and I can.
- 28:34Speaker 1: But I also love the loving support that I feel
- 28:36Speaker 1: for my friends. And depending on what it is, depends
- 28:38Speaker 1: on which friend I go to.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:40Speaker 1: I always go to Steve for everything. He knows anything
- 28:42Speaker 1: and everything. But I feel like different friends have different
- 28:44Speaker 1: advice or different things. So true, So it's nice to
- 28:47Speaker 1: have that that you nail Taj's lunch box, and you
- 28:50Speaker 1: don't have to think about what you put in each day.
- 28:53Speaker 1: You're talking to a healthy mum. I did a video
- 28:56Speaker 1: on TikTok the other day, and it's not that trend
- 28:58Speaker 1: where you leave them in the room and they have
- 29:00Speaker 1: to say to the camera what it's like having you
- 29:01Speaker 1: as a mum. And at the end he's like, she's healthy.
- 29:04Speaker 2: So he said about you and that, so he likes
- 29:08Speaker 2: what he likes.
- 29:09Speaker 1: He's not a very experimental eater, so it kind of
- 29:11Speaker 1: makes it easy for me.
- 29:12Speaker 2: So good.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah, Like he has this couple of snacks, two serves
- 29:15Speaker 1: of fruit, he has a sandwich. It is very same,
- 29:18Speaker 1: same each day. I've tried to like put different things
- 29:20Speaker 1: in there, but it always comes home not eating. So
- 29:21Speaker 1: I'd rather him eat and have what he likes. And
- 29:24Speaker 1: I always say to him, like, do you like what
- 29:25Speaker 1: mommy's putting your lunch box? I do it, so he
- 29:27Speaker 1: doesn't do it the time, un less Steves do it.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, just chucks it in. It's like not
- 29:32Speaker 1: cut up, the apple's not peeled. I'm like, no, it's
- 29:34Speaker 1: done like this.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean it's a bit like that too, Like
- 29:38Speaker 2: she will keep her lunch box pretty well the same. Yeah,
- 29:40Speaker 2: creatures have habit, even like carrote she's a full carrot
- 29:42Speaker 2: every day. Yeah, Like it's just always her, like things
- 29:45Speaker 2: make an apple and like sometimes she might experiment and
- 29:47Speaker 2: have like a little bit of apple for a while, but.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Then back to the carriage.
- 29:50Speaker 2: So funny. Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Yeah, creatures of habit. It's easier for you as a
- 29:53Speaker 1: mom too, Like I just lay out all the night before,
- 29:56Speaker 1: so in the morning sort of chop it up and
- 29:57Speaker 1: do it. I don't have to think so much. Easy
- 29:59Speaker 1: like having a uniform, you have to think just pop
- 30:00Speaker 1: it on. Yeah, that's brain.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Our three kids are all like different things. Reagan a
- 30:05Speaker 2: challenge when she goes to school. She's our fussy eater.
- 30:09Speaker 2: One thing though she loves is like you know those rice crackers,
- 30:12Speaker 2: like the round rice crackers. Yes, oh, so we put
- 30:15Speaker 2: them in. She just changes all the time. Like one
- 30:17Speaker 2: week she'll just eat a whole punt of strawberries and like,
- 30:20Speaker 2: oh my gosh, amazing, chuck all the strawberries in this,
- 30:22Speaker 2: that the other thing, And then the next week not
- 30:24Speaker 2: one eating and I'm like, oh my gosh, Like I
- 30:26Speaker 2: can't keep up with her eating. Yes, the struggle, the
- 30:30Speaker 2: lunch struggle. You and Kurt never fight. You're very easy going,
- 30:34Speaker 2: kind of sim toils and Steve, I feel like we
- 30:35Speaker 2: definitely have disagreements, have disagreements things are we butt heads
- 30:40Speaker 2: on things we need to chat about.
- 30:41Speaker 1: As you're changing evolving too, like yeah, new conversations arise.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but I feel like we can really communicate with
- 30:48Speaker 2: each other calmly. Yeah, which is nice.
- 30:51Speaker 1: You don't return your shopping trolley, you know what. I'm
- 30:55Speaker 1: fifty to fifty here and I will by hand up
- 30:57Speaker 1: and say guilty if I'm by myself always, I'm with
- 31:01Speaker 1: Steve always, if I've just got me and the kids.
- 31:04Speaker 1: So times not because if she's being chaotic and I'm
- 31:08Speaker 1: like put all the groceries and shoes on my hip
- 31:10Speaker 1: and there's heaps are traffic and I can't steer the trolley,
- 31:12Speaker 1: probably I've either got to leave from the car by myself,
- 31:14Speaker 1: which I'm not doing.
- 31:15Speaker 2: I put it in the trolley. See, I put our
- 31:17Speaker 2: kids in the trolley, like I put them all in
- 31:19Speaker 2: the trolley.
- 31:20Speaker 1: There's way carry me. So if I'm carrying her across
- 31:25Speaker 1: the road whilst trying to like navigate a trolley to
- 31:27Speaker 1: get to the trolley spot. I won't risk it because
- 31:29Speaker 1: it's just too dangerous and if not ever drop of
- 31:32Speaker 1: water if she was squirming and then ran on the road, like,
- 31:34Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm not risking that just to put a
- 31:36Speaker 1: trolley away. If I'm with Steven by myself always. If
- 31:39Speaker 1: I'm with Tyler and she's been difficult.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Kurt's fifty to fifty as well, kurts like, sometimes it will,
- 31:43Speaker 2: sometimes won't. I'm a goodie two issues. That's me. He
- 31:45Speaker 2: doesn't sit in there and make it sits ya so
- 31:48Speaker 2: like it's actually more annoying if I have to pull
- 31:49Speaker 2: her out, so I may just empty it.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Why she won't sit in there? Yeah, just sit there girlfriend. Yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 1: she's like Tyler Walk Tyler Walk.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Oh. I remember that phase though, where they just always
- 32:00Speaker 2: want to be out about amongst it.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Someone said totally not that it's not true. However, from
- 32:06Speaker 1: outside you're always so put together in mum life and business, etc.
- 32:11Speaker 1: That's so interesting because I definitely don't portray that online,
- 32:15Speaker 1: Like I'm one of the people that doesn't use filters.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I'll show it without makeup. I'm never jumping on to
- 32:20Speaker 1: be perfect. I'm quite routined and structured though, Like I
- 32:23Speaker 1: feel like I have my things in place and have
- 32:24Speaker 1: my things booked in because I know what I enjoy,
- 32:26Speaker 1: I know what I value, and I make sure that
- 32:28Speaker 1: that happens. But yeah, put together all the time, I
- 32:31Speaker 1: don't think so.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I actually had one here too. Can't leave your house
- 32:34Speaker 2: without makeup? Comfy down bottom, professional up top. Well, I
- 32:39Speaker 2: can leave my house that makeup, and I've done it
- 32:41Speaker 2: plenty of times, like running down to calls at night
- 32:42Speaker 2: when you need milk and bread or you know, morning walks.
- 32:45Speaker 2: I'll go down and do no makeup for a morning walk.
- 32:48Speaker 2: But I do love having my makeup done. I just
- 32:52Speaker 2: find it so relaxing. I listen to an audio book
- 32:55Speaker 2: or a podcast makes me feel amazing for the rest
- 32:58Speaker 2: of the day. It's like if I take ten minutes
- 32:59Speaker 2: to just do my makeup in the morning, I feel
- 33:01Speaker 2: so much more ready for my day. I'm more productive,
- 33:04Speaker 2: I get more done, And yeah, I do like being
- 33:06Speaker 2: comfy down bottom, Like when it comes to the end
- 33:08Speaker 2: of the day, my TRACKI docs and my ugs are me.
- 33:10Speaker 1: And you were the same, like early shower dressing gown,
- 33:12Speaker 1: Oh things was better? Someone said you were the mean
- 33:15Speaker 1: girl at school and Jadan was actually reading this yesterday.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I popped in to see her. She was like, oh
- 33:19Speaker 1: my god, these people do not know you at all.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I was the opposite. I was the girl that was
- 33:23Speaker 1: friends with everyone. I was the ugly duckling. I was
- 33:26Speaker 1: not like the popular, attractive, cool girl, but I was
- 33:29Speaker 1: friends with everyone. I was far from the mean girl.
- 33:32Speaker 1: I like. I honestly had like my sporty crew, my
- 33:35Speaker 1: popular crew, my nerdy crew, the boys like I would
- 33:38Speaker 1: like pop around and see everyone. I was super social,
- 33:40Speaker 1: but I was definitely not a mean girl. I was
- 33:42Speaker 1: everyone's friend.
- 33:44Speaker 2: You are a go getter. Nothing can stand in your
- 33:46Speaker 2: way once you set your mind to whatever you want
- 33:48Speaker 2: to achieve. I feel like fifty to fifty definitely, if
- 33:51Speaker 2: I really want to do something, I will make it
- 33:53Speaker 2: happen and I will do it. But then also, I
- 33:55Speaker 2: feel like with this more slow living, I'm pulling back
- 33:57Speaker 2: a bit more because we're trying to live a bit
- 33:59Speaker 2: more intentional and a bit more slow. So I'm not
- 34:01Speaker 2: going for as many things.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's only when it's really well aligned. I
- 34:05Speaker 2: feel like if something's really well aligned, then yeah, I
- 34:07Speaker 2: feel like I will figure it out. Yeah, nice.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Someone said, you miss your long, bitchy blonde hair. I
- 34:12Speaker 1: don't miss the blonde, not one bit. I love my
- 34:15Speaker 1: darker hair. I love it too, I go in and out.
- 34:17Speaker 1: I think I like my hair shorter when it's out.
- 34:20Speaker 1: But styling short hair is really hard. Even I put
- 34:24Speaker 1: it in a clip, it's got this spout thing at
- 34:25Speaker 1: the top. It just is not cute. So it's easier
- 34:28Speaker 1: to style longer hair, like just put in a pony
- 34:31Speaker 1: and it looks nice. So I don't know. I'm really
- 34:33Speaker 1: in between if I want to grow shorter or grow it.
- 34:35Speaker 2: I actually really like the length it is right now.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I feel like it's awkward at the moment. Yeah, that
- 34:39Speaker 1: in between ish, but it's so healthy and so healthy.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I think I will grow it while it's so healthy.
- 34:44Speaker 1: If it ever gets thin and ratty, I'll just cut
- 34:45Speaker 1: it again.
- 34:46Speaker 2: When you have long hair, it's so much easier to do,
- 34:50Speaker 2: Like you put it in a pony and it looks
- 34:51Speaker 2: so cute, looks so done.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Someone said you don't like making new friends and want
- 34:55Speaker 1: to keep your friend's circle as is a couple of
- 34:59Speaker 1: months ago, I thought about this, and I'm very content
- 35:01Speaker 1: with my friendship groups and I don't see them as
- 35:03Speaker 1: much as what I would like to. I would love
- 35:05Speaker 1: to see my friends more. But then Tiana came along
- 35:08Speaker 1: and I was like, oh cool, but I felt like
- 35:11Speaker 1: a big pool towards her. I just really feel into energy,
- 35:14Speaker 1: Like I don't think I just hang out with people
- 35:16Speaker 1: for the sake of hanging out with them, because anytime
- 35:18Speaker 1: I'm not with my family, it has to be really
- 35:20Speaker 1: worth it because I want most of my time to
- 35:22Speaker 1: be with my family.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:23Speaker 1: So that's why I just really like my core girlyfriends
- 35:26Speaker 1: that I have really strong bonds with.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Yes, someone said you seem so balanced with a lot
- 35:33Speaker 1: on your plate, but you always bring good vibes even
- 35:35Speaker 1: in the heat, I think, so. Yeah, really try definitely
- 35:39Speaker 1: be moments I'm sure where I haven't been a good vibe,
- 35:42Speaker 1: but overall I really try to.
- 35:44Speaker 2: You definitely do.
- 35:44Speaker 1: I think I get better and better as I get older.
- 35:47Speaker 1: A few years ago, not so much, but I think
- 35:48Speaker 1: I'm getting.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Better as I get older.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I'll always intentionally try and bring a good vibe.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 1: You and Kiara feel guilty about not showing up online daily.
- 35:57Speaker 2: I definitely feel like for a whole day I would
- 36:00Speaker 2: rather show up, especially being in our business. I think,
- 36:04Speaker 2: you know, like selling products and stuff like that, you
- 36:05Speaker 2: want to also give value value, so you want to
- 36:09Speaker 2: be on there and also you know, like have a
- 36:10Speaker 2: few days where you just like catching up, hanging out
- 36:12Speaker 2: and you know, keeping that connection.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I guess yeah, I feel like since Eden, you and
- 36:17Speaker 1: I haven't been on as much. Yeah, and now I
- 36:19Speaker 1: don't have baseline. I've just been trying to just be
- 36:22Speaker 1: more present in my everyday life. But it is a
- 36:25Speaker 1: fine balance of like, I love the community, I love
- 36:27Speaker 1: staying connected, I love sharing, But I think, yeah, lesson
- 36:31Speaker 1: is feeling nicer for me. Yeah, that's yeah nice because
- 36:33Speaker 1: I definitely used to feel guilty for not being online,
- 36:36Speaker 1: and sometimes if I haven't been on in two days,
- 36:38Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, it feels weird. But I don't feel
- 36:42Speaker 1: that guilt anymore like I used to.
- 36:44Speaker 2: It's not as much pressure. Maybe I'd just.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Rather show up more intentionally when I've got value to give. Yeah,
- 36:49Speaker 1: or I feel like having a chat even it could
- 36:51Speaker 1: just be like something to give someone a lot. I
- 36:52Speaker 1: feel like a funny experience, you know, relatable. Yeah, Yeah,
- 36:56Speaker 1: you don't eat bad foods and I don't know how
- 36:58Speaker 1: you don't, but go you I'm very eighty twenty. Like,
- 37:03Speaker 1: I definitely treat myself. But what do you considered bad?
- 37:05Speaker 1: Like I don't do recreational drugs. I don't eat a
- 37:08Speaker 1: lot of take away. I don't drink our whole. I
- 37:11Speaker 1: don't eat a lot of processed foods. But like I
- 37:13Speaker 1: love having an ice cream. I love going out for
- 37:15Speaker 1: dinners which is probably cooked and seed oils and has
- 37:19Speaker 1: MSG in it when I eat you know, modernas or whatever. Overall,
- 37:22Speaker 1: my diet is like pretty consistently, very well balanced, yeah,
- 37:26Speaker 1: because I feel better. Yeah, but if anything, I'll get
- 37:28Speaker 1: into like a habit of having lollies. Yeah, like too
- 37:31Speaker 1: many lollies. Yeah, it's totally my downfall. Yeah, oh my god.
- 37:35Speaker 1: These chips though the gusmind gyg gyg. So I have
- 37:40Speaker 1: only recently had these chippies. I went up and visitors
- 37:43Speaker 1: ches just for like twenty four hours. She lives at
- 37:44Speaker 1: the Sunny Coast. We had a little boy and we're like, oh,
- 37:47Speaker 1: what do we do for dinner? And we just throw
- 37:48Speaker 1: past it. She's like, oh, do you want to get that?
- 37:49Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, it's not the same as dembreros,
- 37:51Speaker 1: but yeah, I'd give it a go. Got the chippies.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Oh my god, they are the yummiest hot chips I
- 37:57Speaker 1: have ever had in my whole entire life.
- 37:59Speaker 2: They are incredible.
- 38:01Speaker 1: So I've been having them quite regularly lately. Yeah, I
- 38:06Speaker 1: could have them every day. They're so good.
- 38:07Speaker 2: They're so delicious, so so good. They's like Kurt's are
- 38:11Speaker 2: chip fiend, like he's like being anything his favorite.
- 38:14Speaker 1: So like a little bit of a kick. But they're
- 38:16Speaker 1: sweet and they're salty.
- 38:17Speaker 2: It's beautiful. Whatever the combination is, they've nailed it.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Absolutely nailed. I have tried them. I recommend you don't
- 38:23Speaker 1: because you become a dick.
- 38:24Speaker 2: It's so true.
- 38:26Speaker 1: You have a live in nanny? No, oh my god,
- 38:29Speaker 1: so funny, so funny. Never have had a live in nanny? No,
- 38:32Speaker 1: you haven't nanny, but not a live in She has
- 38:34Speaker 1: her hours and then she goes home and lives her life.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I don't know how i'd feel about a living nanny
- 38:40Speaker 1: just being in your space all the time.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Yes, I don't know.
- 38:42Speaker 1: I just love my family time. Yeah, but yeah we
- 38:45Speaker 1: have help because Tyler doesn't go to daycare. But no,
- 38:48Speaker 1: no living nanny. I don't know anyone that has a
- 38:50Speaker 1: live in nanny.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Neither do I no no.
- 38:53Speaker 1: PS. Fine people with green flags. Green flag people celebrate
- 38:57Speaker 1: your wins. They remember the small things about you. They
- 39:00Speaker 1: respect your boundaries. You feel energized after seeing them. They
- 39:04Speaker 1: listen with out being defensive. They allow you to be
- 39:07Speaker 1: your full self. They make you feel safe, you don't
- 39:10Speaker 1: have to watch what you say, and they support and
- 39:12Speaker 1: encourage all of your goals.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Oh that's so nice. Ps. Things you do have your words,
- 39:20Speaker 2: the power to grow, the capacity to care, the ability
- 39:24Speaker 2: to change, the insight to self reflect, the integrity to
- 39:28Speaker 2: stay true to yourself, the ability to go at your
- 39:31Speaker 2: own pace, the clarity to do what's best for you,
- 39:34Speaker 2: the kindness to uplift yourself, the ability to connect with others,
- 39:38Speaker 2: the space to create the life you want.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Oh it's beautiful, so nice. Well thanks for joining us, guys.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll see you on Wednesday. Hi,
