- 0:00Welcome to Frontline Static, we will get to hear interviews with
- 0:02some of my clients journeys of getting into flight and how they
- 0:05utilize coaching to help them create success of getting hired
- 0:08with less confusion and more ease.
- 0:10Make your dream a reality of getting into flight.
- 0:12Listen in as you hear some of the stories of the people
- 0:14getting there and come join the flight prep group.
- 0:16Hey you guys on this weeks podcast episode I am bringing
- 0:19you a replay of two Instagram lives.
- 0:22One I did on Monday about down regulation and how do we down
- 0:27regulate after our high pressurized jobs.
- 0:29And the second day it was from Tuesday we talked about imposter
- 0:32syndrome and how to make it work for you instead of against you
- 0:35and the tools to help you guide yourself through that so that
- 0:38you can create big things for yourself.
- 0:40And enrollment is officially open for the healthcare worker
- 0:43and 1st responder group called the shift coaching group.
- 0:46I am taking enrollment until November 24th.
- 0:48So if anything in these two lives speak to you, come join us
- 0:51inside. You are going to watch yourself
- 0:53transform over the course of three months of working
- 0:55together. These are two topics that we're
- 0:57going to tackle and we're going to work on.
- 0:59And you will be able to create confidence both on and off the
- 1:01shift and create big things for yourself.
- 1:04Hey, you guys, happy Monday. It has been a minute since I've
- 1:08been on Instagram Live, but I wanted to take some time to talk
- 1:14to you guys about a topic that I'm going to be covering in the
- 1:17shift coaching group. And I also want to let you guys
- 1:20know that the shift coaching group is open officially for
- 1:24enrollment. Enrollment opened up today and
- 1:26it's going to only be going until two weeks from today, so
- 1:30until November 24th. This new coaching group, the
- 1:33shift coaching group, is for any healthcare worker and 1st
- 1:36responder. This is kind of been in the
- 1:38making for the last four years. I started the flight prep
- 1:42Academy while I was still a flight nurse.
- 1:44Everybody was kind of interested on how to get to flight and that
- 1:48program is still going strong, but I felt this poll to really
- 1:53help healthcare workers and 1st responders and general life
- 1:57coaching. I believe we are a special breed
- 2:01of people. We see and we do things and
- 2:03experience things that most people in this world will never
- 2:07have to experience. And so because of that, I think
- 2:10we need special support and I think we need a community that
- 2:13we can all get together and get that support from each other.
- 2:16So that's why I've created the shift coaching group.
- 2:19It is going to be a three month long group.
- 2:21We're going to meet weekly every Thursday and I'm going to give
- 2:24you guys some information on that towards the end of today's
- 2:27live. On today's live, I want to cover
- 2:30one of the first topics that we're going to talk about inside
- 2:33this group. Each week we're going to have a
- 2:35different weekly topic that we're going to cover and we're
- 2:37going to talk about. So today we're going to talk
- 2:40about down regulation. This is something that, so I've
- 2:45been retired now from flight nursing and as a nurse for the
- 2:47last three years. And this is something that I've
- 2:49worked on for the last three years.
- 2:52I am now coming on the other side of this.
- 2:56And so this is a topic, a highly big topic that I want to be
- 2:59teaching about inside the shift coaching group for any
- 3:03healthcare work on 1st responder.
- 3:05Down regulation is so hard for us, especially as people who
- 3:10work shift work, who work fast-paced, highly pressurized
- 3:14environment and have to do things with a lot of urgency.
- 3:18A lot of times what we're doing inside our shifts is life and
- 3:22death. And so down regulation at home
- 3:25is very difficult for us. So I found that what down
- 3:30regulation and not down regulating looks like for me is
- 3:34me coming home from my long shift and me creating a whole To
- 3:38Do List of things that I need to do.
- 3:40And then me beating myself up when I can't do it or I don't
- 3:43have the energy to do it. And when I'm not to doing my To
- 3:46Do List or not completing it fully, I tell myself, oh, I'm
- 3:49being lazy. But down regulation is so
- 3:52important. Our brain is trying to avidly
- 3:55work against us. We create a dopamine hit at and
- 3:59then at home we try to recreate this dopamine hit.
- 4:02What this might look like for some of you guys is, and this is
- 4:05something that I did early on in my career is I had such these
- 4:09big highs at work and the dopamine hit at work that at
- 4:12home sometimes I would create a little bit of drama in my
- 4:15relationships or I would be like, OK, it's kind of boring
- 4:18today. Let me drink a bunch of caffeine
- 4:19so that I can have that dopamine hit.
- 4:21But down regulation is so important when we work high
- 4:24pressurized jobs because this is our reset and often times as
- 4:29high achievers and people who work these types of jobs, down
- 4:32regulation is so difficult for us to get to.
- 4:36And what my brain tells me and what I think a lot of your
- 4:39brains tell you on our days off is we, we can't be bored because
- 4:46if we're bored or we do nothing, then we're going to be lazy.
- 4:49And we take this sense of urgency that we feel in our poll
- 4:53at at work or in our calls that everything has to be urgent
- 4:57because it's life or death. And then we bring that into our
- 5:00home life and we can't relax. And so down regulation is
- 5:03something that I'm going to teach you the tools of how to do
- 5:05inside my program, inside the shift coaching group, because
- 5:09down regulation is needed. Unplugging.
- 5:11I I physically think about like unplugging from the job,
- 5:14unplugging from the work because I need a reset, I need a
- 5:17recharge, I need to allow boredom.
- 5:21I need to allow space for my brain to just listen.
- 5:25I do also think we are programmed in a world where we
- 5:28have so much going on social media, our kids, it's like
- 5:33constant noise that we have to have.
- 5:35And so unplugging and having quiet times is hard to do.
- 5:40And so down regulation is really important.
- 5:43This is part of taking care of yourself and resetting because
- 5:47nothing is urgent and needs to be done right now.
- 5:51But we're programmed like that from our job.
- 5:53So when we get home, we're like everything's urgent.
- 5:55We have to finish it right now. It's life or death.
- 5:57But when we do that, we often miss what our body is telling us
- 6:01that we need. And sometimes it's just
- 6:03experiencing a hard emotion. Sometimes it's just saying, wow,
- 6:06I'm really sad from the call. I'm really sad from this patient
- 6:10loss I had. I'm really disappointed in not
- 6:12being able to perform. I'm really feeling embarrassed
- 6:15because I got yelled at and allowing some of these motions
- 6:18to come in instead of working ourselves up and then going back
- 6:21into our shift. And this is how we create
- 6:24burnout when we don't down regulate.
- 6:25So physically learning how to unplug both mentally and
- 6:29physically is something I am going to teach inside this group
- 6:32because when we can learn to unplug down, regulate, reset,
- 6:37then we can give back to ourselves.
- 6:40And when we get back on the shift and we have that pressure
- 6:43and we have that urgency because we need to, because it is life
- 6:47and death, we have a bigger capability and we have a higher
- 6:51level of confidence to be able to do that because we are
- 6:53energized and we are ready to do it.
- 6:56And so This is why going in and out of the adrenaline rush is so
- 7:01important because early on in my career, like I was saying
- 7:05before, I didn't know how to down regulate.
- 7:08And when I didn't know how to down regulate, I created fights
- 7:10with my spouse or my kids because I needed a little bit of
- 7:13that drama. And that's learning to down
- 7:17regulate for myself has really taught me one, it's OK to relax,
- 7:23be bored, have quietness, be still, sit on the couch, take
- 7:30some time for myself. It's allowed me to reconnect
- 7:33with what I need and then therefore reconnect with what my
- 7:36spouse needs or my kids need at that moment and really tapping
- 7:39into listening to what I need. Because what happens as
- 7:42healthcare workers and 1st responders is that we learn to
- 7:45just give to everybody else and then we forget what it's like to
- 7:48give to ourselves. And I, I do think that we have
- 7:52cues of this before we hit burnout.
- 7:55I've never experienced burnout before.
- 7:57I've really done a good job of listening to my body and
- 8:00listening to I what I need mentally and physically.
- 8:03But I think this is really hard for a lot of you guys to do,
- 8:06especially when we're go, go, go and we're working long shifts
- 8:09and so down regulating will really help us prevent having
- 8:13burnout. If this is a topic that you can
- 8:17really relate to, this is just one of the 12 topics that we're
- 8:22going to talk about and cover in the healthcare worker and 1st
- 8:25responder group. I want to tell you guys a little
- 8:27bit about that now since it's open for enrollment and how to
- 8:30join it. I've created this group because
- 8:34I think that mental health is something that is not talked
- 8:37about enough as healthcare workers and 1st responders.
- 8:40And often times we let this spiral and go to a point where
- 8:44either we burn out or we're feeling depression or we just
- 8:47don't know how to feel our feelings and we isolate.
- 8:50And this group is also supposed to, and, and I've created it to
- 8:57help you confidently shift in and out of your personal life
- 9:01and your professional life and also make shifts to create big
- 9:05things for yourself outside of the identity and the uniform and
- 9:08the shifts that we work. If you're anything like me, I
- 9:12felt this burning pole to create big things for myself and to
- 9:15separate not only myself from the identity of the job, but to
- 9:19leave a mark in this world. And I believe leaving a mark in
- 9:21this world for me is to help healthcare workers and 1st
- 9:24responders. But if you feel that pull and
- 9:26you feel that burning too, this is what this group is for.
- 9:29So this group is for any healthcare worker and 1st
- 9:31responder who wants to competently be able to shift in
- 9:35and out of the personal and professional life and create big
- 9:37things for themselves and answer that call.
- 9:40This group is going to be 12 weeks long.
- 9:42So three weeks long. We're going to start the first
- 9:45Thursday in December and it's going to be every Thursday for
- 9:4912 weeks. We're going to meet the same
- 9:51time with the same Zoom link. And if you can't make it live,
- 9:55every call is going to be recorded and housed in a member
- 9:57portal that you can go back and rewatch the replays anytime.
- 10:00But coming live is the best thing to do for yourself and get
- 10:03the experience of the support and the community of the group.
- 10:06It's going to be 12 weeks long and I'm going to tell you about
- 10:08the other topics that we're going to cover inside.
- 10:10We're going to cover down regulation and boredom, just
- 10:13like I talked about on this live.
- 10:14We're going to cover imposter syndrome and self trust.
- 10:17We're going to talk about confidence in the unknown.
- 10:19We don't have to wait to have the result to let ourselves feel
- 10:23confident. I'm going to teach you how to
- 10:24feel confident in doing things that you've never done before,
- 10:27whether it's at work or whether it's at home.
- 10:29We're gonna talk about caring for yourself, health and mental
- 10:31well-being, and why that's so important.
- 10:33Relationships and connections. I don't know about you, but when
- 10:37I've had some hard shifts, I want to isolate.
- 10:40It's hard for me to connect with people outside of the work that
- 10:43we do because I have this thought that they just don't
- 10:45understand and I don't think that they do either.
- 10:47So this is going to really help us.
- 10:49How do we have connections with people who don't do the jobs
- 10:52that we do, especially if they're close to us and we want
- 10:55to have those relationships and connections.
- 10:57We're going to talk about work life balance.
- 10:59We're going to talk about navigating off the clock
- 11:01pressure and big life changes. Pressure is the emotion I always
- 11:05feel and early on in my career, I used to let it overtake me.
- 11:10And now honestly, when I feel pressure, that's when I go.
- 11:12That's when I perform. And so I'm going to really teach
- 11:15you how to make pressure work for you and not against you.
- 11:17We're going to talk about people pleasing and boundaries.
- 11:20This is huge as we're having holidays come up, how do we stop
- 11:24people pleasing? How do we create boundaries in
- 11:26our lives? We're going to talk about belief
- 11:28work versus not doing more. We have this thought that effort
- 11:33equals success, effort equals results for ourselves.
- 11:37But I'm going to teach you how we can create beliefs in
- 11:40ourselves without doing more and how simplifying our life and
- 11:44doing less can actually help us create the result quicker and
- 11:48faster and in in the time period that we want to create it.
- 11:51We're going to talk about growing confidence through
- 11:54challenges. It's easy to be confident when
- 11:56things are going well, but how do we double down when we're
- 12:00facing obstacles and we're facing challenges?
- 12:01I'm going to teach you how to do that.
- 12:03We're going to talk about creating big goals and following
- 12:06through with it. I don't think that a lot of you
- 12:09guys think that you were just made to work the shift work and
- 12:13be in that identity. I believe a lot of us,
- 12:15especially as healthcare workers and 1st responders, we're able
- 12:19to create really big things. Whether it's having our own
- 12:21business or whether it's having another job or having our a
- 12:24hobby or getting a hobby that makes us money.
- 12:27I believe we are entirely capable of creating that.
- 12:30So we're going to talk about creating big goals and following
- 12:33through with them. We're also gonna talk about
- 12:35living boldly and possibility. How do we grow the confidence
- 12:39for something that we've never done before?
- 12:41How do we create the possibility on our lives?
- 12:43And how do we create the life that we want to live?
- 12:46I know a lot of you guys feel stuck because I felt stuck a lot
- 12:50of the years that I was a nurse. And I want to help you create
- 12:54possibility if you want to have a life other than the identity
- 12:57and the shift work that you work, or if you want to create
- 13:00something big with the shift that with the shift work that
- 13:03you're doing. I want to help you live your
- 13:05life to the fullest of whatever you want to create and create
- 13:08possibility for whatever that is so that you can achieve that
- 13:10goal. So those are some of the topics
- 13:12that we're going to be talking about inside this group.
- 13:15You're also going to get a private community group chat
- 13:17inside WhatsApp where you'll be able to get support and have
- 13:20community with other healthcare workers, first responders.
- 13:23This is my favorite part. So you're going to get daily
- 13:26support 24/7 that you can tap into inside this community group
- 13:29chat. You're also going to get a
- 13:31personal member portal. So as soon as you join, you're
- 13:34going to get your own password and log in where you can watch
- 13:37the welcome video and then all the replays will be in there as
- 13:40well. I'm going to be sending you guys
- 13:42some special things in between too, some videos and resources.
- 13:45You can access that all in the member portal and that will be
- 13:48available until March 13th when we end a week after we end our
- 13:52last call together. You're also going to get all the
- 13:55replays in there, like I just said, inside that member portal.
- 13:57So it's best to come live, but if you can't, I know you guys
- 14:00work shift work. You can watch the replays as
- 14:02many times as you want inside that member portal.
- 14:04You are going to have accountability and momentum in
- 14:07this group as well because it's going to be such a small group,
- 14:10you're going to get to know everybody in it and hopefully
- 14:12it's going to be people from all over the world.
- 14:14I my flight prep Academy is just for people in the United States,
- 14:17but I'm opening this group to anywhere in the world.
- 14:19If you're a healthcare worker and 1st responsible response
- 14:22responder for accountability and momentum.
- 14:25This program is going to start the first Thursday in December.
- 14:28So it's going to run December 4th through March 5th, the 1st
- 14:32Thursday in March. And I am offering this group as
- 14:35a no brainer price because I want have as many people join
- 14:39this first round as possible. So because of that I'm never
- 14:42offering this introductory price again.
- 14:44But for this time this round only I'm offering it for 497.
- 14:48I have a painful option of 497 or I have a two payment plan
- 14:51option of 260. You guys can comment shift now
- 14:55if you want information on it or you can click the link on my bio
- 14:59and you can get all the information and Join Now.
- 15:02If you comment shift, it'll be sent directly to your direct
- 15:06message and you can click on the link and you can access either
- 15:09the painful option or the two payment plan option.
- 15:12Enrollment starts today and it's only going to be going through
- 15:15November 24th, so you want to make sure to secure your spot.
- 15:18Now. This is for any healthcare
- 15:21worker and 1st responder that wants to grow their level of
- 15:23confidence both on and off the shift and create possibility,
- 15:26belief, and big things for themselves.
- 15:29Let's end this year strong and go into next year with belief,
- 15:33possibility, and confidence. You guys can DM me anytime if
- 15:37you have any questions about this group and I can't wait to
- 15:41help you guys grow your level of confidence and create really big
- 15:44things for yourself this year and in 2026.
- 15:47We'll see you guys. That's it for now.
- 15:48Bye. Hi.
- 15:50Hey, you guys, welcome to this Instagram Live.
- 15:52It's Tuesday, Happy veteran's day.
- 15:55I just want to say thank you to all of you who have served in
- 15:59the military or who are currently serving.
- 16:02I had a brother who served in the Marines and a father and a
- 16:05father-in-law who were both in the Navy.
- 16:07So thank you guys for your service this week and next week
- 16:12I am going to be talking to guys about different topics that
- 16:15we're going to be covering in the shift coaching group for any
- 16:17healthcare worker and 1st responder.
- 16:19Today we're going to talk about imposter syndrome and I know
- 16:23almost everybody on here today has felt that.
- 16:25So if you're joining me and you've felt imposter syndrome
- 16:28before, put in the comments when you have felt it and what was
- 16:32the situation. I'm going to talk to you guys a
- 16:34little bit about examples of when I found it and give you
- 16:37some tools today on what to do when it does arise and it does
- 16:42come for you. And just talking about it
- 16:44because I know that sometimes this word imposter syndrome
- 16:48triggers a lot of people. And for me, when I think about
- 16:51it, I have really good thoughts, thoughts about imposter
- 16:54syndrome. So I'm going to offer you a
- 16:55couple of those today. And then I'm going to talk to
- 16:57you about the shift coaching group for healthcare workers and
- 17:001st responders and give you an invitation to come and join us
- 17:03as enrollment is going on now. So first, let's talk about
- 17:07imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is that
- 17:11feeling that starts to creep in when you're about to do
- 17:13something new or big. This could be a career change.
- 17:17This could be a new goal that you set for yourself.
- 17:19This could be just something that you're doing new.
- 17:22And it, for me, it comes out as a little whisper in my in my
- 17:26head that says, am I good enough for this?
- 17:29I don't know if I can do this. I don't know if this is for me.
- 17:32That's what it sounds like in my head.
- 17:35And tell me for you guys that are on, what does it sound like
- 17:38for you when you feel imposter syndrome?
- 17:40What are the situations? What is the what is the the
- 17:45voice or the question that your brain offers you?
- 17:49I felt this hundreds of times in my nursing career.
- 17:52I felt it when I was in nursing school.
- 17:54I felt it I, when I started out as a new grad in the ICUI, felt
- 17:58it my first trauma call. I felt it as a flight nurse and
- 18:02I felt it as I launched my first coaching program.
- 18:06But here's the thing. Early on in my career, I felt
- 18:09like it was wrong that I was feeling it.
- 18:12I thought, well, maybe because I'm feeling imposter syndrome,
- 18:16I'm not ready yet, or maybe because I don't have confidence
- 18:20about this, then I shouldn't do it.
- 18:21And I made feeling doubt and being nervous wrong.
- 18:25And here's what I want to teach you.
- 18:27And here is my belief on it, that to feel real confidence
- 18:32means that you have fear and that you have doubt.
- 18:35And having fear and doubt is normal when we're stepping into
- 18:40the next biggest version of ourselves.
- 18:42Meaning we experience imposter syndrome because it's our brains
- 18:46job to remain comfortable. It's our brains job to say, hey,
- 18:51I just want to curl up on the couch and I want to watch
- 18:53Netflix and I don't want to create any big things or set any
- 18:57big goals for ourselves. So our brain just keeps holding
- 18:59us aback by giving us a bunch of fear and imposter syndrome.
- 19:03And so now I know when I feel imposter syndrome, it's because
- 19:07I'm growing. I'm stepping into the next
- 19:09version of myself. Nothing has gone wrong.
- 19:13I'm supposed to feel fear. I'm supposed to feel doubt
- 19:16because I'm pushing up against the ceiling of what I thought
- 19:19was possible for me. And our brain wants to avidly
- 19:23work against this and say no, no, no, no, no, let's stay
- 19:26comfortable, Let's not grow. Let's just stay status quo and
- 19:30what we're doing. And I know that I've experienced
- 19:33a lot because I have always been the person who has the fire that
- 19:37burns to do something more, to contribute to the community, to
- 19:41leave this stamp on this earth for something.
- 19:44And so because of that, I experienced imposter syndrome a
- 19:46lot. And here's the truth.
- 19:49It doesn't mean that you're behind.
- 19:51It just means that you're growing.
- 19:52It's the signal again that you're stepping into the next
- 19:55level of you, the newest version of you.
- 19:58And so with imposter syndrome, there is supposed to be doubt.
- 20:02There is supposed to be fear. And we have to keep pushing up
- 20:05against that ceiling so that we can create a higher ceiling for
- 20:09what is next for us. So this is just our brain
- 20:13telling us this is a new territory, this is the edge of
- 20:16who we've been, and when it arises, it's just because we are
- 20:21stepping into the new version of ourselves.
- 20:24Now when I feel imposter syndrome, I notice it's going to
- 20:27happen when I do something new or when I set a big hairy
- 20:30audacious goal. Let's talk about this for a
- 20:33second. I see a lot of you guys not set
- 20:35any goals at all. And the reason why you don't set
- 20:37goals is because you don't want to fail at them.
- 20:40So then what happens when you don't set a goal is you pull
- 20:43back and you quietly give up. And this is really when you want
- 20:47to double down where you want to lean in.
- 20:49Setting big hairy audacious goals moves us forward.
- 20:54When we set a huge goal, we have to step into a different version
- 20:59of ourselves. We are going to have fear.
- 21:01But when we when we set a huge goal, it helps us become someone
- 21:06that we aren't currently. Our current brain and the
- 21:09current person that we are can not achieve that big hairy
- 21:12audacious goal. So when we set a huge goal for
- 21:16ourselves, that's where we have to become that person.
- 21:19And becoming that person ahead of time is what is required.
- 21:23Let me give you an example of this.
- 21:25Before I became a flight nurse, I had to be able to start
- 21:29thinking like 1 And this is what I do for people inside my flight
- 21:32prep Academy is we start thinking about what are the
- 21:35beliefs that you have as a flight nurse?
- 21:37How do you treat patient situations?
- 21:39How do you treat conflict? How do you treat when things
- 21:41don't go well with your plan A and you got to go all the way to
- 21:44your plan C? You start thinking like this
- 21:47now. That's how you become that
- 21:49person. You have to go to the person
- 21:52who's already achieved it and think about what are their
- 21:56beliefs? What do they believe about
- 21:57yourself? It's about becoming that person.
- 22:00And so that's why imposter syndrome is needed.
- 22:03Big hairy audacious goals are needed because if we don't set
- 22:06those, then we will remain comfortable.
- 22:09And I know all of you guys have wanted to do that in the past.
- 22:12Or you know someone who's stayed in a current unit forever
- 22:17because it's comfortable. They like the schedule, they
- 22:19like the people, they like what they're doing.
- 22:22They don't have to stretch themselves.
- 22:24They don't have to grow. They don't have to be
- 22:25uncomfortable. They don't have to have fear and
- 22:27doubt, but on the other side of that is this burning that you
- 22:31know you want something more and there's an unhappiness in that.
- 22:34So if that's you, this is where we want to chase imposter
- 22:38syndrome. I love feeling it.
- 22:41I expect it. I know it's going to come.
- 22:44I know that I'm creating a big hairy audacious goal for myself
- 22:47if I feel it. And now I know when I feel
- 22:50imposter syndrome, I'm no longer afraid of it.
- 22:53I'm not scared of it because I know it's my next level of
- 22:56growth. I know it's me leveling up.
- 22:58I know it's because I set a high enough goal for myself that I'm
- 23:03starting to feel that. And every time you can just
- 23:06allow it to come with you, I want to offer you.
- 23:09Going for that big hairy audacious goal and becoming that
- 23:12person is always more worth than pulling back.
- 23:17Because a lot of you think I'm not going to set that goal.
- 23:20I'm not going to do it because I'm having doubted myself.
- 23:22And what if I fail? And so you pull back.
- 23:25But The thing is, the result you create by pulling back is you
- 23:28fail anyway. You fail ahead of time.
- 23:30So I am the person that would much rather go for the big hairy
- 23:35audacious goal and fail and become someone different in the
- 23:38process, then pull back and not do it at all.
- 23:40And I want to offer you guys the same thing.
- 23:43Imposter syndrome is what I'm going to talk about and I'm
- 23:46going to give you the tools to overcome it and befriended
- 23:49inside the shift coaching group. This group is for any healthcare
- 23:53worker and 1st responder. We are going to focus on
- 23:56creating big things both on and off the shift and create and
- 24:00creating confidence for yourself both personally and
- 24:02professionally. Getting to a point where we have
- 24:04work life balance to where we're not making time be the thing I
- 24:07hear from a lot of you guys, I don't have enough time.
- 24:10We are going to teach you the confidence and straight stretch
- 24:13your capability to not be an overwhelm anymore, to have
- 24:16clarity, to make decisions, to have work life balance, to have
- 24:21confidence in the unknown, to create big hairy audacious
- 24:25goals, to work apart against the part of your brain that's like,
- 24:28no, we want you to stay small. I'm going to teach you how to
- 24:31level up and grow your capacity to do bigger things and to
- 24:35become the person that you're meant to be here on this earth
- 24:38and what you and fulfill what you want for your life.
- 24:41So let's talk about the coaching Group A little bit.
- 24:43Enrollment is going on now for it.
- 24:44If you want information, just comment shift on the slide and
- 24:48I'll send directly to your inbox into your direct message.
- 24:52This shift coaching group is meant to help you with imposter
- 24:55syndrome, work life balance, creating confidence both on and
- 24:59off the shift, getting confidence in the unknown,
- 25:02creating new beliefs in yourself, getting to big hairy
- 25:05audacious goals. These are the things and topics
- 25:07that we're going to cover and I'm going to go over them in
- 25:08just a second. And imposter syndrome is a big
- 25:10one. I'm gonna teach you inside this
- 25:12group that every time you feel imposter syndrome, you no longer
- 25:15fear it. You know exactly how to tackle
- 25:18it, and you know exactly how to help it move you forward towards
- 25:21your goal. When I feel it now, I love it.
- 25:23I welcome it. I accept the challenge because I
- 25:26know I'm leveling up. I know I'm growing.
- 25:28So I'm gonna teach you how to do that for yourself.
- 25:31You're gonna be able to rise into the version that you are
- 25:33capable of being because this version of you has been there
- 25:39all along. So I'm gonna teach you how to
- 25:40tap into that. OK?
- 25:42I'm going to tell you what's included in the shift coaching
- 25:44group and so that you guys can have an idea.
- 25:48And I want to welcome you guys and offer for you guys to come
- 25:51and join us inside the group. I'm taking enrollment now.
- 25:53This is for any healthcare worker and 1st responder.
- 25:56This is a community that I wish that I had while I was in
- 25:59healthcare, mental health, talking about these things,
- 26:02growing your confidence and doing it with a special breed of
- 26:05people who go through and see the things that we see.
- 26:08I think it's really important and that's why I'm creating this
- 26:10group so that you can be with other healthcare workers and 1st
- 26:13responders and have this community and grow your
- 26:16confidence. This is going to be a 12 week
- 26:20live coaching group, meaning we're going to meet every
- 26:22Thursday starting December 5th I believe is the first Thursday
- 26:27going all the way to March 4th. We're going to meet at noon
- 26:30Pacific Standard Time every same time every week and I know all
- 26:34of you guys work shift work. So because of that if you can't
- 26:36make it live, don't worry about it.
- 26:38All the calls will be recorded and then there will be housed in
- 26:40a member portal for you to go back and watch any of the
- 26:43replays at any time. We are going to cover the
- 26:45following topics Down regulation and boredom.
- 26:48Imposter syndrome and self trust.
- 26:50Confidence in the unknown. You can do something you've
- 26:53never done before and go into it confidently.
- 26:55You don't have to have doubt. You caring for yourself, mental
- 26:58health, well-being, relationships and connections.
- 27:01Work life ballots, Navigate navigating off the clock
- 27:04pressure and big life changes. This is something that's huge.
- 27:10I know a lot of you guys feel so much pressure at work and then
- 27:13you bring that pressure into your home life.
- 27:14I'm going to teach you how to not to do that.
- 27:16We're going to talk about people pleasing and setting boundaries.
- 27:19We're going to talk about belief work versus doing more.
- 27:21The people that I work with are overachievers.
- 27:23We think we need to have a huge laundry list to be successful.
- 27:27I'm going to teach you how do you do less, tap into your
- 27:29beliefs and not hustle and over work to get to your goals.
- 27:33We're going to talk about growing confidence through
- 27:34challenges. How do we navigate challenges?
- 27:37We're going to talk about creating big hairy audacious
- 27:40goals and following through with them and becoming that person in
- 27:43the process. And then we're going to talk
- 27:45about living boldly and possibility.
- 27:47What do you want for your life? We're going to talk about how do
- 27:50you go out there and you create it.
- 27:51We're going to really dive into that.
- 27:55Great. Someone put I can't wait to join
- 27:56as a new grad nurse perfectly. This is something that you can
- 28:00join right now. This is for any healthcare
- 28:02worker on 1st responder. Just comment shift and you can
- 28:04get the information on it sent directly to your DM.
- 28:08Also included, this is a community group chat.
- 28:10This is my favorite part. You can tap into this community
- 28:13group chat 24/7 for support. In between all of our calls,
- 28:17we're going to be talking about wins updates, what are some
- 28:20struggles? What are some obstacles that
- 28:22you're facing? And you can get support from
- 28:23anybody all over the world that are healthcare workers and 1st
- 28:26responders. You're also gonna get access to
- 28:29a member portal. You'll have your own login and
- 28:31password so you can watch all of the replays in there.
- 28:34And there'll be other tools and content inside that member
- 28:36portal as well. The replays will be available
- 28:39for you to re watch until mid March, a couple weeks after our
- 28:42group is done. And there's going to be
- 28:45questions and prompts for each of the sessions that we have.
- 28:49So we're going to start out each coaching session.
- 28:51I'm going to get I'm going to teach a little bit for the 1st
- 28:531015 minutes and then we're going to get to coaching.
- 28:55And even if you aren't the one being coached, you're going to
- 28:58get to watch how other people are experiencing, say for
- 29:01example, imposter syndrome, real life examples of what that looks
- 29:04like for them. And then they're going to get
- 29:06coaching from me where I'm helping them get clarity on how
- 29:09to move forward. So watching someone else get
- 29:11coached, sometimes you get a lot more out of it because you're
- 29:13like, I see how I do that too. And then you're going to see the
- 29:17tools that I'm going to teach so that you can come out of it and
- 29:20reflect on it and be able to bring yourself out of imposter
- 29:23syndrome as well. There's going to be heavy
- 29:25accountability and momentum in this group.
- 29:27If you're ready to watch yourself transform over the next
- 29:30three months and build tools that you can keep with you
- 29:32forever in your career, this is the group that you want to be
- 29:36in. We're going to go December 4th
- 29:39through March 5th and I'm offering this group at an
- 29:41introductory price. I'm never going to offer it
- 29:43again at this price, but I wanted to make this a hell yes
- 29:46for anybody who wanted to join. It's going to be a one time
- 29:49payment of 497 or you can do 2 split monthly payments of 260.
- 29:54Again, comment shift and you can get the link to join right away
- 29:58sent to your DM Enrollment is going on now, but only until
- 30:01November 24. So you want to make sure that
- 30:03you secure your spot. This is going to be a small
- 30:05group and so secure your spot earlier on so that you know that
- 30:10you have a spot inside this group.
- 30:12Again, this is for any healthcare worker or first
- 30:14responder, someone who wants to grow their confidence both on
- 30:17and on, on and off the shift, who wants to create big hairy
- 30:19audacious goals for themselves and go and get it and learn the
- 30:22tools so that they can take that with them forever.
- 30:25Again, you guys can comment shift or you can DM me shift.
- 30:29All the information is in the link in my bio as well and I
- 30:32would love to have you guys come and join.
- 30:34I want to take a moment to answer any questions, questions
- 30:38that you guys might have that are on the live.
- 30:41So if you guys want to put that in the comments or you want to
- 30:44put them in the question box below, I would love to answer
- 30:49any of those questions. OK, perfect.
- 30:51Yeah, someone had put how much does this coaching cost?
- 30:53This three month group is going to be 497 one time payment or
- 30:56you can do 2 payments of 260 and you'll see that when you comment
- 31:01shift you'll get the link to be able to join the two payments
- 31:03are there on the website for you to join that.
- 31:06Good question. Just going to go through and see
- 31:09if there's any other ones. And this is perfect as an as a
- 31:11new grad too, because I know you feel a lot of imposter syndrome
- 31:15as a new grad. So we are going to create
- 31:17confidence for you and help you step out of I don't even like to
- 31:22use the term new grad in my programs because people can say,
- 31:26oh, I'm a new nurse for years or five years.
- 31:29So I really teach you, how do you overcome the thoughts of
- 31:32you, of the struggle and the doubt that you face and the fear
- 31:36that you face, you know, from a nursing student into critical
- 31:39care or a nursing student into a new job.
- 31:42We're going to really tackle that so that you can show up
- 31:44confidently to your new position.
- 31:51Someone asked when will you give advice for flight nursing?
- 31:53So I have a separate program called the Flight Prep Academy.
- 31:55It's for anybody who's interested in flight no matter
- 31:58where you are in your journey. You can click on the link in my
- 32:00bio or you can comment flight and you'll get the information
- 32:03for that sent to you as well. And that's ongoing that group.
- 32:06I have about 100 people inside the Flight Prep Academy.
- 32:09It's a lifetime membership as well.
- 32:10So you can join anytime no matter where you are.
- 32:13I have pre nursing students, nursing students, EMT students
- 32:16in it and you'll have that group all the way forever, however
- 32:20long you want to fly. So I'm having people who are
- 32:23getting hired right now and they're able to share their wins
- 32:27with everybody else. And it's it's a really
- 32:30supportive community to be in. And I think I have about 20-5,
- 32:34maybe 30 flight nurses and flight medics currently in that
- 32:37group. Good question.
- 32:41I don't see any other questions right now.
- 32:44As always, you guys can reach out to me by DM.
- 32:47I personally reach back out to you guys if you have any further
- 32:52questions, but join us inside the shift coaching group.
- 32:55This is going to be a movement. This is the coaching group that
- 32:59I wish that I had as a healthcare worker and 1st
- 33:02responder. We see and we do things that no
- 33:05one else in this world understands and you are going to
- 33:08have a supportive community to work through some some of the
- 33:12obstacles that you face while also creating big things for
- 33:15yourself. I also have this belief as
- 33:18healthcare workers and 1st responders and people who do
- 33:21these types of jobs, we are great at creating whatever we
- 33:25want outside of this identity too.
- 33:27I think we're great entrepreneurs.
- 33:28I think we're great at excelling in different hobbies.
- 33:32I think we're great at working two different professions.
- 33:35And so if this is something that you've ever felt the pull to,
- 33:37I'm going to teach you exactly how to do this inside and live
- 33:40your life to the as well. OK, that's it for today's live.
- 33:44Thanks guys. We'll see you next time.
- 33:46Bye. If anything in this episode
- 33:48sparked your interest into getting into flight, come join
- 33:51my flight flight group. We are an entire community that
- 33:53meets together on a weekly basis with an ongoing group chat.
- 33:57And if you are already flying and you're currently a flight
- 33:59nurse or flight medic, you can join my all flight clinician
- 34:01group as well. You can click on the link to
- 34:03join in the show notes or you can DM me on Instagram.
- 34:06I hope to see all of you guys inside.
