- 2:17SPEAKER_00: So, in prep for the show today, I was looking back and I'm like, I'm like, shit, I I read Rich Dad Poor Dad, I think it was around 2003, maybe 2004, something like that.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: Uh, I was at a very low point in my life.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: I had just gotten fired from two jobs.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: I was working two jobs at the same time.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: I was uh busing and serving at one of my favorite restaurants in Salt Lake.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Uh, by the way, just took my family there Sunday for brunch.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Kind of crazy now that I think about it.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Anyways, I was working there, loved that job.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: It was more of a social thing, like didn't pay the best, but it was fun.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: Got fired from that job, and then just a couple days later got fired from another where I was a customer service, um not manager, but I was a trainer of customer service reps uh at backcountry.com.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Loved that job as well.
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: I was at a really low point in my life, and my mom suggested I read Rich Dad Poor Dad.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Well, she gives me this book and I'm like, what the hell is this?
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: I literally knew nothing other than it said rich in it, and that got my attention.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: I'm like, that would be nice.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: I yeah, being rich, okay.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Um if this will teach me what rich people know, then I will read it.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: Having no clue it was about real estate, having no clue about entrepreneurship, I just thought they'd like teach me something about how to be rich.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Well, they did, but what I took away from it that I still think about every single freaking day is is not what you think it is, but it's such a massively important lesson.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: And I think most people who read Rich Dad, Poor Dad maybe look past it.
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: Or it's it's not one of the major takeaways because it's not like you know, here's how to do this.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: It's not a how this or how that, it's a way of thinking.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: So uh before we jump into that, some couple quick matters of business.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: I'm excited about this one.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: So last weekend we did our very first power day here in Salt Lake, the power day workshop, where um it was it wasn't quite a full day and a half.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Then I almost did a spoiler.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: It wasn't quite a full day and a half.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: We did a full workshop, and then the night before we had a nice dinner at my house in my backyard, and it was super cool.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: We had uh we did some exercises, not like physical, like curling dumbbells and shit.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: I mean like uh some mental exercises.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: We we we did some work the night prior and it to set the table for the next day.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Well, I thought it was a huge success, and and a lot of the success was we learned how to make it infinitely better the next time.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: And so I'm like, okay, we could just it was a lot of work, it was a lot of effort.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: Um we have to do this again.
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: And so I start thinking about, okay, let's do when are we gonna do the next one?
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And then my wife was like, it's like, oh, are you just gonna do it once more?
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, no, like I want to do a few of them.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, well, shit, let's let's just launch three of them.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: So we're we're today, we're announcing the next three power days between now and the end of the year.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: The next one's August 26th.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: Uh, the one after that is October 7th, and then the the last one of this year is November 18th.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: All the details, all the pricing, all the information, all of that is over at powerdayvent.com.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: There's also a link in my Instagram bio uh to the to Power Day.
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: There's very limited seating.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: Okay, like the first one, these ones, there's very limited seating because of the nature of the workshop.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: We can only have 20 people maximum, and we're actually gonna go above and beyond with these next three, provide more.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: We're gonna have a videographer there.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: We're gonna you're gonna show up and and leave with content.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: You're gonna have professional photos, professional videos, you're you're I'm not gonna spill all the beans, but you if you if you're serious about investing in your future, you need to get to a power day between now and the end of the year.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: But you cannot wait, you cannot drag your feet because there's only 20 spots per date.

- 6:36SPEAKER_00: No matter what, they do not expire.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Society members always get that discount.
- 6:40SPEAKER_00: Another reason you're gonna want to join our coaching group right now, today, while it's open for the next week, is we have a few new courses coming out.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: I'm doing a new course on AI, I'm doing a new course on, well, a couple other things.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna spill the beans quite yet, but society members get those for free.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: If you're not a member of the society, you pay full price.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: So you could simply join the society while it's open and save a shitload of money and learn and level up and network and get referrals.

- 7:54SPEAKER_00: Do these things over the next seven days.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: And within the first three days, they got a client.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: We had someone else that uh day two they got a client, someone else, day five, they got uh by the fifth day, they had two new clients, all by just doing these specific things that we give our new members to do.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: It's crazy.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: You could do it too.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: I don't know why the hell you don't.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: And uh, I actually do know why.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: And stay tuned.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned because um this episode is going to potentially change your life more than any tutorial, webinar, tactic, whatever.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Um what I'm gonna share with you today, what I learned from Rich Dad Poor Dad, as long as you're open-minded and as long as you're willing to admit fault, admitting to take as long as you're willing to take responsibility for for where you fucked up in the past and where you're still fucking up with the way you think about things, you could absolutely thrive from this point on.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: Because once I learned this concept, it kicked over the first domino into what has become an incredible life that uh that I am currently building.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: I I feel like I'm still in the starter phase.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: I'm still in the first inning, maybe the second inning, but my god, uh what I learned from Rich Dad Poor Dad started at all.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: So I'm curious.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: Send me a message on Instagram at MassiveAgent.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: Let me know if you read Rich Dad Poor Dad, how long ago it was, and what your biggest takeaway was.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: So set send me that message before I jump into this because I don't want to cloud your your judgment.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: Like I'm really curious before I jump in and tell you my biggest takeaway, what was yours?
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: What do you remember about Rich Dad Poor Dad?
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: How long ago did you read it?
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: Did you just read it once?
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: So I read it.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: I read it the first time from a physical book.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: Then about five years later, I listened to the audiobook.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: Actually, it was a CD.
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: I got the fricking C D from the library, the audio CD, and listened to it in my car back when CD players and cars were things.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: Do they even make CD players and cars anymore?
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: Seriously.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: Serious question.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: I haven't had one in a car for a long ass time.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Um, anyways.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: But this it's just it's a one of those books you keep coming back to, and every time I do, I learn something new.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: But I every time I hear what I'm about to share with you, it hits me harder, but it hits me different every time, and the the meaning gets deeper.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: So, Rich Dad Poor Dad first taught me what entrepreneurship was.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: It taught me that I could be in business for myself.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: For the first time in my entire life, Rich Dad Poor Dad showed me that running your own business, owning your own business, um, you know, this pathway to wealth, pathway to success, pathway to being rich, so to speak, was actually attainable for any person.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: I this sounds weird, but I really thought that success and wealth and and being rich was for a different type of person because I I didn't have any rich or wealthy people in my life up until that point.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: I think I was probably I was 19 or 20, I believe, when when I first read it.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: And I didn't have anyone super rich or successful, like I knew of some people, but I wasn't connected to them.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: I wasn't able to talk to them.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: So I just thought those were different, I was a different type of person.
- 11:26SPEAKER_00: And I never really thought wealth, success, running my own business, building something as an entrepreneur could even be in my future.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: I didn't know it was possible.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: So Rich Dad, Poor Dad opened my eyes to that, and specifically in real estate, so it showed me holy crap, I can own my own business, and here's how I can strategically do some things in the real estate world without even being an agent, like just with wholesaling, with flipping, with you know, buying and holding rental properties, that could eventually I could build my way to wealth and success on my own terms as my own business owner.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: That was super crazy.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: But that wasn't even the biggest takeaway.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: As life-changing as that was, you know, showing me holy shit, this this world of entrepreneurship is available to you if you just do the right things, if you just go down the right path.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: That was monumental.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: But even bigger than that, the the biggest thing that I took away from Rich Dead Poor Dad is when they talk about the difference between the broke mindset and the success mindset, specifically with when there's something that you want to buy, there's something you want to invest in, there's something you want to spend money on, maybe it's a vacation, a car, a house, uh, a training program.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: Fuck, you want to get a ticket to Power Day?
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: Well, how many of you guys, when I was mentioning Power Day or joining the society while it's open, or anything I've ever talked about before, and you're like, oh, I'd love to.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: Look, I know this is the case because I get your fucking messages.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: I would love to, but I would love to, but I can't afford it.
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: I can't afford it.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: I can't afford it.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: Up until that point, when I read Rich Dad Poor Dad, I was one of those people who instantly I just I defaulted to I would love to do this, but I can't afford it.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: I would love to go on that vacation, but I can't afford it.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: I would love to buy this thing, but I cannot afford it.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Rich Dad Poor Dad told me, or taught me rather, that instead of saying I can't afford it, to ask, how can I afford it?
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: That changed my life because I didn't realize it at the time.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: But when you look at something like your ticket to Power Day, oh, I can't afford it, your brain just shuts off.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: You no longer are thinking creatively.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: It's just it's the easy way out.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: It's the easy way out.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: And and you know, sometimes, yeah, you know, money's tight.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: I get it.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: I've certainly been there.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: But what you're doing is you're also telling yourself that you're not resourceful enough to figure that shit out.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: That you are that you're not capable of making a little extra to make that thing that you want possible.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: Spending money on something, like you want to go buy some flashy watch or this or that, or a new set of golf clubs, which trust me, like by the way, my wife just got me a new paradigm driver, and I'm fucking beside myself.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: Like, oh my god.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: I think it's the first golf club I've bought uh new.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: I've always just bought like used set of clubs before.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: Anyways, like you want a new set of golf clubs, but you certainly don't need them, right?
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: It's it's a nice thing, and they're it's a depreciating asset, unless you're a professional, right?
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: If you're a pro, it's a tool of the trade.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: You need it.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: But when you say I can't afford it, you just it's like game over.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: End of story, can't afford it.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: If you just ask a different question, how can I afford that thing?
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: Now your brain turns on.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: Now you start thinking, okay, if I need$1,000, if I need$10,000 to accomplish this, if I need to invest in my business and hire someone, it's going to cost this amount per month.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: How, how can I come up with an extra$5,000 a month to do this?
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: How can I come up with an extra$1,000 for that Power Day ticket?
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: Well, huh, I guess I could do this.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: I could do more of this, I could do this, I could sell this, I could, you know, and you start thinking creatively.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: It's so subtle, but it's such a big fucking deal.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: When you say you can't afford it, your brain turns off.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: When you say, when you ask, how can I afford it?
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Your brain turns on and you start thinking creatively of how to make it happen.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: You become resourceful instead of resourceless.
- 15:39SPEAKER_00: Huge difference.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: It's subtle, but absolutely huge.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: So ever since then, I catch myself reverting back to the old me, where I'd think, you know, I I would love to do that.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: I'd love to hire this person, I'd love to go to that conference, I would love to hire this coach, I'd love to join this mastermind, but I can't afford it.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: I've joined, I've spent over six figures on masterminds, coaches, trainings, all of that over the last couple years.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Like over the last two years, I've spent over six figures.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: Every single time, right before, I tell myself, holy shit, that's 10 grand.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, or that's 30 grand for the year.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: I can't afford that.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: And then I catch myself and I remember Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and the lesson it taught me to ask, how can I afford it?
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: So then I start thinking, okay, if I need to come up with$30,000 over the next 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, whatever, right?
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: Let's call it 10,000 bucks.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: How can I do that?
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Is there something that that's just sitting around that I could sell that I don't need?
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Is there uh, you know, could I take a loan out on this if it if it's really pressing?
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Um, could how can I earn some extra money?
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: Can I do a little bit more activity and sell an extra house every month?
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: What's crazy to me, and I'm gonna put this in in perspective here a little bit further.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: When you are investing in yourself, if it's buying something that great, we all have things we want to buy.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: You want to get a new MacBook, you want to upgrade your laptop, you want to get a new iPhone, you want to do whatever.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Maybe you just want to piss it away on some fucking watch.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: But when it's for your business, when it's something that you want to do for your business, I'm telling you from experience, there is literally no better ROI on the planet than reinvesting your money back into your business and into yourself.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: I remember being told that, and I thought, well, that's nice because you just have a bunch of money and you could just afford a$30,000 year mastermind.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: Must be nice, right?
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: I remember thinking that, and I'm like, well, wait a minute.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: How can I afford that shit?
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Well, once I figured it out the first time, uh, the first time was with a fitness training program.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: My wife and I both did.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: It was seven grand.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: And for for us at the time, that was huge, but I'm like, you know what?
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: How can I afford it?
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: I know I want to do it.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: There's certain things that I know that I don't know that I need to figure out, and there's the solution right there.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: If I need to invest to get the answers and the accountability, I'm gonna fucking do it.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: We did, and we got the results like that because we took it more seriously than anything else because we made a big investment.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Well, then I start thinking, okay, cool.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: Then this mastermind, Avengers Mastermind, comes up.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: It's 30 grand a year.
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I really need to do this.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: I need to be in the room with these people, with Cody Sperber and Pace Morby and Aaron Wagner and you know, uh, all these people, right?
- 18:38SPEAKER_00: Uh, with you know, Dan Fleischman.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: I need to be in the room with these people and other entrepreneurs like them.
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: It's about 30 grand, can't afford it.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: And I remembered, remember that time that I almost used that excuse with the fitness training, but then that changed our lives forever.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: We're gonna we're going to live years longer, and we have so much more energy, and I'm telling you, I've made so much more money as a result of just getting in great physical shape and and taking care of my nutrition and health.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: It's mind-boggling how directly correlated they are.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: It's actually common sense, but we don't think it is when we're ignoring that shit, right?
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: It's very easy to ignore, anyways.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, well, I remember when we first invested that seven grand in the fitness program, we took it very seriously and we got results so much, like so fast, and we learned how to create a lifestyle of health and fitness, changed our lives and our kids, because our kids are now witness to all of that as well.
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: And we've been teaching them how to live a life of health and fitness.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, okay, I know I need to figure out a way to make it happen.
- 19:47SPEAKER_00: So I did.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: I joined the mastermind.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: The people that I was around, the the things that I would learn from those people, the connections, the investment opportunities, uh, and on and on and on was so much more.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: Um the ROI on that was so much it was infinitely beyond just the 30 grand that we invested.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: So once again, there's another lesson.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: Okay, this is it, this is the path.
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: When you want to invest in something that's going to bring more business because you're growing yourself, that's where you need to put your money.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Let me phrase this in a different way.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: I remember before I started to invest in training and masterminds and programs where I would be investing in me and my business.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: Before I thought, I have$10,000.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: What should I invest it in to make the most money with this$10,000?
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Now, first of all, if you if you're thinking, how can I make more money with this money, you're thinking the right way to a point.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: At least you're thinking, how do I make how do I use my money to make more?
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: That's good.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: But then you fuck it all up when you think, which stock should I buy?
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: Here's what I mean by that.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: If you have$10,000 and you find an investment that over two years is going to give you a 30% return.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Okay, or let's say one year, okay?
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: A 30% return in one year, I think you'd agree that is a ridiculously good, ridiculously awesome return on investment.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: That's a great investment, right?
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: 30%.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: Well, that means your 10,000 is now 13,000.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: Okay, great.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: Now, if you did it again and again and again and again, that becomes meaningful.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: Um, what if it's 50,000, uh, a 50% return?
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: Let's say you can double your money in a year.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: You can turn 10,000 into 20,000.
- 21:38SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: Uh, usually it's not over a year, it's over three, five years.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: But over five years, you're going to double your money.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: That 10,000 becomes 20,000.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: Well, what if you invested that 10,000 into a mastermind or a training program or hiring a coach or systems for your business, or hiring some employees or some help, uh, A graphic designer, a video editor, so on and so forth, right?
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: And those activities, that investment of 10 grand, and by the way, it's gonna be a lot less.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Let's call it 5,000.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: You make that investment, and then you get an extra two deals over the course of the year.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: Well, how much is it an extra closing?
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: What is that?
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: An extra$10,000?
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: So you get an extra two over a whole year, and there's an extra$20,000.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: Do you guys see my point?
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: When you invest in yourself and into your business, the return is massively more than an investment return.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: This is why you need to be going to trainings, going to workshops, going to masterminds, going to conferences, hiring coaches and trainers.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: If you are thinking that this is self-serving, that I'm talking about this while I'm telling you you need to invest in getting your ass to Power Day in Salt Lake to our workshop, where you leave having worked with me one-on-one on what your business needs, like we're going to build your business together in person.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: If you think that's self-serving, you're missing the point.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: The reason that I'm offering these things is because I understand the power of them.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: I understand that's where the real investment return is.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: I know what I want that for myself.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: And then I see the business opportunity for me to help you to get that for yourself.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: Do you understand that?
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: If it's not my program, find another one for God's sakes.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: But stop trying to figure out how I can take this$1,000 or$5,000 and invest it in Tesla stock or in EXP stock or in Microsoft or whatever the hell.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: Invest it back into your business.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: Invest it into the conference, the training, the mastermind, the coach.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: The return is infinitely more.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Infinitely more.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: And just do the math.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Just do the math on it.
- 23:55SPEAKER_00: Even conservative math, investing back into your business is going to be so much more because what you learn from that workshop or that mastermind, you never forget.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: You you never just go back to the way you were.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: You now know those things and you have those tools that you didn't have before.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: And so now you're not just make selling an extra house a year.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Maybe the next year you sell an extra 10 houses and then an extra 20, and then you bring on three extra agents, and now you're selling an extra 50 houses.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: And you you see, just because you went to that one training and learned that one little thing, or you got the belief that you could do those things.
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Man, this and I look back to Rich Dad Poor Dad at uh at that concept of rather than saying I can't afford it, ask how can I afford it?
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: We had we had someone come to Power Day last weekend who you know I think most people would agree they could not afford to come.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: However, I asked, was it worth it?
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: Did you get your money out of it?
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: He he borrowed the money temporarily, he borrowed the money.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: You know, he had a couple closings coming up, but he he borrowed it, and he said, Dude, this was this was the best.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: That this was exactly what I needed, and I'm gonna sell so many more houses and make so much more money as a result of this small investment.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: And I I looked at him and I'm just like in my head, I'm thinking, no shit.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: But he he just hadn't, he was on that part of the journey that I had many years ago.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: But he's still there.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: He's still learning that lesson for himself, and he can never forget that.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: So now he's he figured out he was resourceful and figured out how to get a ticket to Power Day.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: He got his ass there, he came, he took it very seriously because it wasn't just like, you know, piss away money.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: If if if a ticket is like, you know, oh, whatever, you know, if I lose, if I don't show up and lose the money, you know, whatever, you're not gonna take it seriously.
- 26:00SPEAKER_00: If it's a$20 ticket, you're not gonna take it seriously.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: You're probably not even gonna show up.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: So there's value in it being a higher ticket cost, right?
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: You take it more seriously.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: He did, and it's changing his life as a result.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: He's never gonna go back to the way he was before.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: It's really cool to see people that are just a few steps behind where I was have you know following that same path.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: That is why I keep coming back and doing these podcasts and doing social media videos and you know, jumping on our society trainings every week and being involved in the Facebook group, and just all I do all day long is talk to and help and mentor agents.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: That's all I do, that's all I do.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: And I freaking love it because I remember how helpless I felt when I was struggling, aside from a few mentors that I had that I met on Google Plus, these real estate bloggers who would and we would just message, like I never spoke to any of them.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: I think I've only met one of them in person, but they would just encourage me from afar and they led by example.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: I saw what they were doing, and I just did that, and I started to have similar results.
- 27:19SPEAKER_00: I can't imagine not having someone to hold my hand.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: I'm having a moment.
- 27:31SPEAKER_00: So this is what keeps me coming back.
- 27:33SPEAKER_00: This is this is the phase of the of my career that I'm in that I absolutely love.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: And I want to work with you.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: If this speaks to you, find a way to get to Power Day.
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: The reason we're doing these in in person and not just virtually is so that they're actually impactful.
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: So you actually implement, so you actually show up and and take it seriously, and so you can actually get to know people in person.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: So I can actually sit down with you and say, hey, what are you struggling with?
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: Oh, really?
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: Well, have you considered this?
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: Let's just do this.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: Let's just, you know, boom-boom boom.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: We can't do that all just through a webinar.
- 28:15SPEAKER_00: So get your ass to Power Day, get your ass in the Massive Agent Society, and if it's not one of those offerings, find something else that you've been wanting to do from someone who you look up to who has results and a lifestyle that you want, and get in the room with those people.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: And if if it takes investing your money to do it, be resourceful enough to figure that shit out.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: Don't be irresponsible.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 28:42SPEAKER_00: But we're not talking irresponsible amounts of money here, we're talking about thinking differently so that you stop shutting your mind off and just thinking, can't afford it, done.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: Guess what happens to the people that that consistently tell themselves I can't afford it?
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: Guess what happens?
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: Nothing.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: Jack shit.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: When you tell yourself I can't afford it, what you're doing, first off, you're saying you don't trust yourself to figure it out, you don't trust yourself to make that money back, you don't trust yourself to put in the work to get the return on that investment.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: So so you're you're killing yourself every time you do it.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: You're you're killing your self-esteem, you're killing your confidence, you're killing your business, your your career.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: But when you say you can't afford it, what you're also saying to yourself is that you think business is just gonna fall into your lap.
- 29:41SPEAKER_00: You're thinking, well, I don't need to invest back into my business because it's just gonna happen for me.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: Well, is it?
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: Is it because if it is, wouldn't it be?
- 29:54SPEAKER_00: It the reason I'm bringing this shit up, and if I'm stepping on your toes, good.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: You just haven't thought about it this way before.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: It sounds so ridiculous when you hear me say it out loud when I when I I'm basically just turning the mirror around and you're like, oh my god, yeah.
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: You're saying I can't afford it.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: You're saying I don't need to do anything additional.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: I don't need to invest back into my business, I don't need to actually spend my money to get results.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: It's just gonna happen.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Well, how has that been working out for you?
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you right now, and I've told you many times before, and I'll say it many, many more times because this is the hack.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: This is the cheat code.
- 30:33SPEAKER_00: As soon as I opened up my wallet and started investing large amounts of money into my business, into self-development, into learning new things and getting in rooms with people that were already at the place I wanted to be.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: Once I started to spend those dollars, I made more money than ever.
- 30:51SPEAKER_00: I've made more money since I started to invest in those things than I ever did prior.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: When I was thinking, well, I can't go to that conference, or well, I'm I don't know about this, I don't know about that.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna hold on to that$1,000, I'm gonna hold on to this$3,000 here because I don't know.
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: Guess what wasn't happening?
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: Much of anything.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: Like I wasn't making money.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: I well, I wasn't growing.
- 31:14SPEAKER_00: I I didn't start to double and triple and quadruple my income, literally, until I started to invest in masterminds trainings coaches.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: That's the hack.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: So unfortunately, some of you are going to rationalize why that's bullshit or why, you know, whatever.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: You're gonna have you're gonna take some issue with me.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: You're going to come up with some excuse of this, that, and the other thing.
- 31:44SPEAKER_00: Eventually, you're gonna learn that lesson.
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: I hope that you learn it now versus a year from now, ten years from now, or on your deathbed.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Eventually, you will learn that lesson.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: If you're open-minded enough, do it.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: Make the investment.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: Trust yourself enough to put in the work to get that return on that investment.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: As soon as you do, you start to grow, you start to get results, you start to attract the resources and the people and the opportunities that you need to start earning that extra income, to start getting those extra deals, selling those extra houses, and getting extra income streams that you're not even considering right now.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: That happens once you start to invest into yourself.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: You start investing, you start earning a bunch more.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 32:42SPEAKER_00: That is it's as true as gravity.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: Some of you will choose to believe me, some of you won't, some of you will believe me later, some of you will go out on a limb and and and try it for yourself now.
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: Awesome.
- 32:56SPEAKER_00: I'm here for you.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: If you want me to be.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: If you want me to be, just send me a message.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: I'm happy to share whatever.
- 33:05SPEAKER_00: I am here to help you, I'm here to serve you.
- 33:07SPEAKER_00: This is why we're doing Power Day in person three more times this year.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: But don't drag your feet any longer.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: Grab a ticket, powerdayevent.com.
- 33:19SPEAKER_00: I don't know what else I can do for you.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Do you need me to fly to your city and grab your ass out of bed and take you to do certain activities and to train you and to do is that what needs to happen?
- 33:33SPEAKER_00: You're not really expecting that to happen, right?
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: And if it replace me with whoever else, right?
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: Do you really need Gary V to do it?
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: Do you really need Andy Frisella to do it?
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: Do you really need insert whoever the hell?
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: Do you really need them to do it for you?
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: No.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: The answer is no.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: You have everything in you right now that you need to succeed at the highest level.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: But you just need to crack it open.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: You need to get it out of you.
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: And investing in yourself is what starts that process.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: It starts the flow of abundance and gets you the hell out of this world of scarcity that you're stuck in.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: The longer you continue to tell yourself I can't afford it, or I'm not going to invest in that new system.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to hire the videographer.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to have an editor.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to go to Power Day.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to join the coaching program.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: I'm not going to do that.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: I'm going to save my money.
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: You're not saving shit.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: Not doing the things that you know will move the needle in your business is much more expensive than actually making the investment.
- 34:35SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: Thank you, Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lecter for writing that incredibly life-changing book.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: In night, they wrote it in 1997.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: I was a junior, a junior?
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: I think it was a no.
- 34:49SPEAKER_00: Fuck, what was I?
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: I was was I in junior high?
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: So I graduated high school in 2001.
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: So I was in ninth or tenth grade when they wrote Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: That's wild.
- 35:03SPEAKER_00: It has changed so many millions of lives.
- 35:08SPEAKER_00: And hopefully, my takeaway and you listening to this perspective today, and then the action you take as a result will change yours.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: Thank you for listening.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: Have a great rest of your freaking day.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: I hope to if you want to work together, if you want my help, I am here.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: You just have to reach out and grab it.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: You have to take the first step, you have to be willing to invest because I'm not just going to jump into your lap.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: No one is.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: No one that you want to help you is ever going to jump into your lap and say, hey, can I help you grow your business today?
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: It doesn't work that way.
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: No one worthwhile, no one worth having as a mentor or a coach is ever going to do that because they're busy, they have their own lives, and they have other people that they're helping who are investing and are taking steps and running and getting the work done.
- 36:00SPEAKER_00: Thank you guys so much.
