- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Today I'm having a conversation with Ken, who is a fellow entrepreneur, and we reached out or I reached out to him to have a really incredible conversation a couple of weeks ago after seeing a very vulnerable post that he shared in a business group that we're in together.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: And through this conversation, I'm hoping that you're going to realise that seeking simplicity isn't the absence of hardship.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: It's not the absence of hard work.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: It's not the absence of hard times.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: And this conversation is talking about the vulnerability and the courage and the hardship that can come as part of seeking simplicity.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: We're also going to touch on collapsing timelines, stepping into new identities, and what it means to really live a life of freedom and expressing yourself creatively.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: So grab your brew and let's dive right in.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Ken, welcome to the Seeking Simplicity Podcast.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Thank you for being here.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for having me.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: No problem.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: So in the intro, I described how you are a fellow online entrepreneur.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: And um, what I want to share with everyone today is we're never connected.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: I've seen your face pop up in the group that we are in together, like over and over and over again.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Um, but what made me reach out to you personally was you put up uh a really vulnerable post, and we're coming, we're going to that in a second, because we then had the most incredible conversation.
- 1:23SPEAKER_00: I want to bring snippets of that for other people to hear.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: But as I do with every guest, I would love for you to just share what does seeking simplicity mean to you?
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: And that is such a great question because, like I told you before, like it means so different things to different people.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Like there's no right or wrong answer, it's just a matter of what is simplicity to you.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: Um, and to me, I think it's mostly about the way of life.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Like, how can we live in a simple way without you know feeling that we have to do all the things that people say we have to do?
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Like it doesn't have to be the way everyone wants us to be.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, we can set our own terms, we can do things our own way, we can create our own path.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Um, but we make it hard.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: We make it so hard because we think that we have to do it in a certain way, because people tell us to when we really don't need to.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: And that has been a long journey for me in particular.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Um, because I've been doing this for like 10 plus years now, and it's only now, recently, in a few like six months or so, that I've found the path of simplicity of breaking new grounds, going my own path, um, not chasing someone else's uh dream, so to speak.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, that's how I see simplicity.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: It's so synchronicitous because we had this conversation.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: I had my first call yesterday for my personal transformation program.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: And one of the first questions I asked each of the participants was, um, what do you think like the barriers are to you getting what you want or creating the results that you want?
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And somebody said, Well, you know, my dreams just my goals really aren't good enough goals.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Well, right, exactly.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: What art are you using?
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: And because it wasn't around like having a monetary goal or an achievement or an attainment goal, and actually what she wanted in this season of her life was to feel peaceful and whole and to trust herself and to have more joy, society has had her feel like that wasn't a big enough goal to go after.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: I think that's like the best thing ever.
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: That's probably the biggest one.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Like, come on.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: So, and that kind of brings me into the fact that, like you said, you've been you've been working for yourself, running your own business for just over 10 years.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: And I asked you just before we got on the call, like, what made you step away from the you know, the nine to five and pursue this?
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: And you shared with me that it was about create you've all it had always been a dream, you liked the idea of the freedom, and you also said it was about expressing yourself creatively.
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: How has if you think about kind of like pre-entrepreneur um and the post-entrepreneur versions of you?
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Could is there a way that you can come up describe how unsimple your life felt in that nine to five?
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: Like, what were some of the things you experienced that you don't have now?
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: Well, obviously, when you have a nine to five, you know what you're going to every single day.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: Like you go to work and you do the thing you're supposed to do, and you know, in that in that sense, it's simple, right?
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: So obviously, being an entrepreneur, there's a lot of uncertainty because you have to manage everything yourself, and it's your job to get work, you know, get clients.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Um, but at the same time, you know, I heard people say that, you know, even if you have a nine and five, it doesn't mean that you are secure.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Like that job that could disappear in a matter of a month or maybe even a week, because something went wrong with business and you didn't know, and suddenly you're standing there like, okay, well, thank you for everything.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: We need to shut down and good luck.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Like that could happen.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: And and what I love as well is what you've just shared is obviously when you made that break, no matter whether, no matter whether we like we're leaving behind a job that we hate, whenever we step into being responsible for making our own money, in whatever way, like you said, there is so much uncertainty, and yet that allowed you to feel like you were seeking more simplicity, even with the uncertainty, even with the courage and the hardship that was required to make that leap, the simplicity came from it, sounds like, that decision that I'm gonna do things my way and I'll figure it out, you know, and I'm and I'm willing to do that.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: I heard one of my mentors saying today about you have to regulate yourself to the risk.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: I love that because that, as you know, I do a lot of work around nervous system regulation.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: And what I've noticed is there is naturally so much uncertainty in the world, period.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: And what a lot of people try and do is they will feel the uncertainty and they think the antidote to that is to create certainty, to get clarity, to get a definite decision, to formulate this pathway where they can second guess like all the emotions that are going to come and all the things that are going to happen.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: But my my advice is learn to feel safe in the uncertainty because that's where you're gonna spend that time.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: So I love like regulate yourself for the risk.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Um, so just kind of to sum that up for you, there's like the seeking simplicity is about honouring the things that are important to you, and you you can do the hard things, you can take the hardships, you can do those big acts of courage, and it can still be an act of seeking simplicity.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: So I love that perspective shift.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Right, let's get to this post.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Um, so you you're we're in a group of what, like how many people are in there?
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: 10,000 people?
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: 10,000, yeah, I think so.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: And we've already said predominantly women, and they're all business owners.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: And you shared a post a few weeks back, and you had shared a picture where you'd clearly been crying, which like round of applause for that.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Um, and you shared really vulnerably how things had been challenging.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: So, do you want to just give us as like a summary of what that post was about, the experience you had had?
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: Well, like you said, it was about things being hard.
- 7:50SPEAKER_01: Um, and you know, it's not the first time that I felt like things are hard.
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: Um, there's been plenty of ups and downs, and you know, yeah, we I cried a couple of times before, and like it's nothing unusual in that sense, but this time it was it's hard to explain, but you probably understand it.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: But you know, feeling it deep down in my gut, like really, really feeling it, like it was a pain sticking in my stomach uh at that time, and it just broke me.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: I broke down in tears, like seriously broke down, and and I was just kind of saying, like, why can't I get a break?
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: Like, why can't why can't I just yeah, why can't I get out of the break?
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Terrible question, by the way.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: But you know, it's it's one of those things that we just put out there because we don't know any better at that time.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: Um but at the same time, I I needed that break down in order to get the breakthrough.
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: And I spent at least a couple of days just working through the emotions and trying to figure out like what is going on and how can I get through this, how can I get through the other side.
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: But it was hard.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: Um, and especially as a man, um showing emotions, that's not something that is um easy because we're looked at as weak when we do that.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: Um but at the same time I felt like it was I was contemplating whether, like, should I take this picture or not?
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: Like me sobbing, like, oh my god, it sounds like you know, you're seeking attention or whatever.
- 9:28SPEAKER_01: But at the same time, I felt like there was a deeper calling behind all of this, like there was something I was meant to share.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: And gratefully, um, the group that we're in, it's a safe space where I feel like I can share anything and I will not be judged no matter what I share.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: And sure enough, that you know, I wasn't judged at all.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: People open up instead and share their stories, and um it created this magical post that just went viral in that sense in that group, because I've never seen anything create that much engagement at all.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: Um, so it's really powerful and led me down a path of uh exploring a little bit more of how I can share more of those kind of conversations, those hard conversations that we tend to not have because entrepreneurship is hard, you know, it's a lot of ups and downs, it's not a straight line, it's a lot of crying, to be honest.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: It is behind the scenes, of course.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: We we don't show it, but yeah.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: I I love that, and I know you know, I obviously commented, and then we had a conversation you shared with me that lots of people reached out, you had some amazing conversations, and one of the things I always say to people in fact, I saw this.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Um I'm this might sound a little sad, but I'm in quite a few Facebook groups for camper banners, right?
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Because we've just bought this camper van.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: Right, yeah, and there was a post recently by a man who said again, who was like, Oh, I feel really awful writing this, but I'm I'm newly divorced, I I'm fighting for custody of my children, dah dah dah dah.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: I've bought I'm living in a van, and and I posted I just put, you know, thank you so much for having the courage to share.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Because when we share that vulnerably, we give other people permission to do the same.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: And we help people, even if they don't comment, people will be like, Oh, it's not just me.
- 11:19SPEAKER_00: And I had like 80 people or more than that like that comment because I simply reflected back at this guy.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: I get how hard this is for you to say that and you know, thank you for being um you know a beacon for allowing other people to do the same.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: And that's what you did in that group because then there can be this um lean, I guess, in the entrepreneur world, just share when things are going well.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: And you know, if you if you're if your Instagram is very grid pretty, and you know, I the amount of people that come along and say to me, You're so good at your your social media and you do great posts and all that.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, You've got nothing, I'm a hot mess over here.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: You know, I have not got any ducks in any row at all.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: They're like on opposite sides of the street.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: Um, so you came up with all these amazing conversations, people shared with you.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: People were like, Oh my goodness, goodness that you shared that because phew, I feel the same way.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: When we connected and we had this conversation, you were talking about this incredible experience where you literally saw and felt timelines collapsing behind you.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna just give a little bit of context to that.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: If this sounds a bit like way out there for other people, right?
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: So um, and it might be a little bit way out.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: I have a theory that we learn in layers, and I shared this with you on our call, and that one of the things, and in fact, I think I'm gonna do my my next podcast on this, and that one of the things that often keeps us stuck is that we're trying to race ahead of our learning timeline, and we buy the forces and we invest the money and we push, push, push, and we go, go, go, but we're like we're actually doing it from a place of lack and resistance rather than a place of trust and sufficiency.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: And when we just can slow down a little bit and allow, I it the vision I always get in my head is the field the the Iron Man film when he stood on his plinth and then all the different bits of like his armor land on him one at a time.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: And I thought that's what happens with our learning, and then one day, like the whole suit just lands, and we're like, oh yes, there's a you there's a certain sense of arrival, right?
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: And that's what I felt when you described this sensation of these timelines collapsing, and you knew you couldn't go back because you were no longer that person.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: I would love for you if you can remember a little bit about the conversation, share that because I think that is so powerful.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: If people can feel what I felt when you said that, there is so much available availability for them to have that experience.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: I don't remember specifically, but the way I see it is that we have these multiple timelines.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: We're on one right now, and there is one above us that has the future that you're looking for.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: But it's not gonna happen because you push it, like it's not gonna happen unless it will let you happen.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: Um, you just gotta trust that things will arrive when they need to.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: And that's obviously really hard because we want something so bad that we try to push to get to that next level.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: But you will know when you shift to the new timeline.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: Like it would happen in a way that you just know, and that will just continue because once you get to that timeline, there's gonna be a new timeline, and then it's gonna be a new timeline.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: And you know, like we just said, you can't go back to the last one because you're not that person anymore.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: So you just continue and just continue to build and leap into the new timeline, and so that's what I mean by the time of collapsing behind me.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: Um, just knowing that something has shifted, we know more, we have more knowledge, we have this um new sense of um purpose, and we just know to move forward.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: Um, and when that happens, at least to me, it just changes your energy, how you respond to things and how you see things, and you get this new high basically.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: Um so but yeah, it's a credible experience once you kind of realize and just see it for what it is and stop pushing.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: Um, I know that's easier said than done because I've done it like probably nine years out of the 10 years I've been doing this.
- 15:46SPEAKER_01: I'll be pushing, right?
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: So it didn't like like seriously, it didn't happen until last November of 2024.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: That that was like the first proper timeline shift that I could feel.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I didn't even push it.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: I had to left everything behind.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: I said, like to January 2024, I said, like, I'm ready to quit.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: I don't want to do this anymore.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: But I decided to keep one client and just see what happens.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: Like, whatever happens, happens, and we'll figure it out.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: So I let everything go.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: And then come November, it just dawned on me like what I was supposed to do.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, and then and it's been there all along.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: I just hadn't seen it, but it wasn't I wasn't meant to see it until November.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: I've got a few things because it's it's so mirroring my experience, you know.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: I I think I should be, I can't remember, but you know, I did exactly the same.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Mine came from you know, losing my dad and the pandemic and yeah, you know, women's hormonal things and all the things happening all at once.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: It was like implosion.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: And um, I was like, I can't do this anymore.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Like you, I'm just done.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I'm too tired.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: I don't have the emotional, mental, or physical availability for this anymore.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: And I I'd almost was convincing myself that I'd fallen out of love with the things that I'd fallen in love with, like the coaching.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and exactly what you just said, I let it all go because I thought, okay, if I'm gonna coach myself out of this, I I can't do, I found myself sort of thinking I was doing something different, but actually I'd just take a lateral step, I'd taken a side step.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: So I was kind of doing the same things, but I just wrapped it up in a different disguise, right?
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, okay, so the question was if I was gonna do this completely differently, how would it look?
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: And I just kept hearing, you've got to let go of it all.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: You've got you've got to stop the pushing, you've got to stop the forcing because hard work and being busy from a place of resistance, lack, and insufficiency is never gonna give you what you want.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: But there is so much like safety in that clinging, isn't there?
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: If we it's like perching on the edge, like I'm just I just can't let go because there's a sense of me in here, and then when we do let go and we do fall, it's we start to just see things that we couldn't see before.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: And I liken it to I think a lot of us has been, and I think entrepreneurs, I think we're notoriously hard on ourselves for one.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: Of course, yeah.
- 18:10SPEAKER_00: Um there's lots of comparison between us now, and I also think we walk around feeling like we've got these gaps in us, in our worth, in our knowledge, in our, you know, in our um what's possible for us.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: And we go around, we try and fill these gaps with things.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: You know, we we launch a new program and we try and make more money, or we get a new client, and we and then and then you get the new client and you still feel equally a shit like a week later, you're like, oh god, like the I've got the hole again, like it's popped out.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: And these timeline shifts actually release the identities and the beliefs and the patterns that we're holding that stop us seeing the truth of who we are.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: It's it's instead of us, we we don't lack something, the only thing we lack is the ability to see the truth.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: And you know, when you when you were talking about like the these timelines collapsing, I sort of had like it was like a super Mario Kart picture in my head, like you were running away, and all these things were happening behind you, and you you're right, you sort of step into this whole new identity, and it's a cellular shift, right?
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: It's not just oh, I'm just gonna choose to think different.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: No, I'm gonna just go launch this new product on a cellular level.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Boom, something shifted.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: You feel it in your body, literally, the visceral feeling, and and I get it because I'm I've I'm exactly where you are now, and sometimes I still pinch myself and go, like, where's the girl that worried about everything and was trying to force things to happen?
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: Like, she I think she maybe she left when I when the 50th birthday kit came around, I don't know, but anyway, I'm grateful that she's here.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: So I love that for you.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: So could you um then tell us or share with us since this kind of internal transformation, rebirth, whatever you want to call it, how is that showing up in the way that you uh the energy that you bring into your business and how you know what sort of shift has it created?
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna say that it's there all the time.
- 20:15SPEAKER_01: Obviously, it's still, you know, we still face that face that wall that hits us, or we run into that wall every now and then.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: Um but you know, you just feel more confident and you show up with more conviction because you not only believe in yourself, but you believe in everything that you create, every offer that you put out there, uh the messaging that you put out there.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: It's it's got that different vibe.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: And yes, it can always improve, you know, it's never perfect and it's never meant to be, to be honest.
- 20:51SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it's just it shifts everything, but from within and the output that you get from it.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I and and that sort of resonates well.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: I was listening again to a mentor this morning, and she was talking about the different identities of entrepreneurship and the one where you're a leader.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, I I've always said that you know, you cannot lead others if you cannot lead yourself.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: And she described if you if you are not walking your talk, if you are not willing to feel the hardship, to have the emotional um, you know, to to be in that emotional challenge, to to to she sort of said like like go first, go often, right?
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: I mean learn by failure.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Like if you're not willing to do that, then when you are speaking to potential clients, when you you know you are not leading with authenticity, you know, you're because she said you're teaching from a conceptual point of view, you're not coaching some experience, right?
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and so you know, we've got this map this um amazing availability now.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: And say, look, I can tell you how hard this is, right?
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: Because I've been there.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: I've been there.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: Do you know what?
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: And like you said, we still revisit it.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: We're not, we don't ever come into this glorious utopian thing where we feel bloody fantastic all of the time.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Like that just does not happen.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: But we develop that emotional resiliency, and we're like, oh my God.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: It's like when you pull a plaster off, like a band-aid, right?
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: This is gonna hurt, but I I'm gonna manage.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: And I think that one of the lessons, and maybe this feels true for you or not, I don't know.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: But one of the things that has helped me with this process is really leaning into a truth that is the outcome is the journey.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: So let's just say, for instance, we're talking to anybody that's on any kind of achievement line now.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: So whether they want to make more money in their business, whether whether they're trying to lose like 20 pounds, whether they want to meet their soulmate and all the things.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: When you get to that end point, let's just imagine let's just imagine that last$10 rolls into your account and you've hit like half a million as an example, right?
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: You learn nothing in that in that last$10.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: It's all the things that case before.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: Um, and when we can lean into that and go, oh my god, like I've just learned this horrible lesson and it was really painful, but I could only have learned it because I put myself in that space.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it's but you know, it's the everything is happening for you versus to you, right?
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: But you get the experience, you get the lesson to move forward.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: And especially I've what I've learned is, you know, obviously, you know, working on limiting beliefs, subconscious patterns, that kind of stuff, that's that's heavy and that's hard, and that takes years.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: And now I can really quickly pick up on those, both subconscious conscious patterns and limiting beliefs, and I can deal with them.
- 24:00SPEAKER_01: I can tackle them right away instead of a couple years ago, you know, you could spend days, weeks, maybe months struggling with this, not even moving forward, and now we can just deal with it within 30 minutes, and like, okay, cool, let's move on.
- 24:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but that's because we worked on it.
- 24:20SPEAKER_00: It's that level of self-awareness.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: You know, when I'm talking to my clients about recognizing um lip limiting patterns, somatic sort of limiting patterns that are ingrained in our fascia as an example.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: Like, we don't just go to our brain and go, oh, hang on a minute, I've seen that limiting thought that I have about I can't make X amount of money.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Let me just unthink that or let me just rewire that with a new thought, because there is this intricate matrix in your body.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: So as we deepen that level of self-awareness and we, you know, and we like move our body into a different shape or move our body into a different pattern, we learn to repattern through our musculature and through our neurology and through the way that we take our coffee in the morning.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: Like if we get we're crying into our coffee every morning versus having that first coffee and being like, I'm winning my day, I'm winning my day already because I'm here and I'm breathing and I'm alive.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Not from like um what do they call it, like a Pollyanna per perspective, but just choosing that physical, mental, emotional, physiological state that you can anchor into.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that could be in any form, to be honest.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, a lot of people will say, you know, oh, the woo stuff is just stupid, it's ridiculous, you know.
- 25:32SPEAKER_01: Uh, but at the same time, the way I see it is well, who cares?
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: Like, if it makes you happy, more happy, then do it.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: Like, I believe in the universe and I believe in you know, numbers, signs from the universe, and that makes me feel a little bit more at ease, a little bit more happy.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: So why not do it?
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: Like, who cares, right?
- 25:55SPEAKER_00: And I think there's quite a lot of science now to back up the woo.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: Um things are different now, but still, you know, there's still going to be people who say, like, what are you crazy?
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Come on, that's yeah, and I but I think about if we just kind of wrap up with if we think about some of the super successful people that we might see a lot in our space.
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: So, like the Tony Robbins, like the Oprah, um, like the I I like Elizabeth Gilbert, you know, lots of these people didn't come from that they're not successful because of the knowledge.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: No, everyone, everyone can have the knowledge, right?
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: And not everyone expresses it, utilizes it in the same way.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: It's it's the way that you show up for yourself, it's a belief, it's the way that you keep going.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: And and again, I just the keep going thing.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: If you keep going in the same capacity and keep getting a result that you don't want, you need to be going in a different way.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: And that's that can be hard to let go of because you're like, but I've done all the things and I've done all the courses.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so maybe the thing now is to let go.
- 26:58SPEAKER_00: Take longer than a week out to try and reframe your entire life.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: Maybe because we're you've been on this road for so long, you're not even seeing it.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: There's 30 different directions behind you.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: And I don't know about you, but what I feel now is going to what you said about believing in the universe, and if people don't want to go down that line, then you can just believe in the fact that we're surrounded by this energy that responds to our energy and creates like the classic example is you get out of the bed in the morning, your bed in the morning and you stub your toe on the bed, or you get your pajamas stuck on the door handle on the way out, that can probably really piss you off for the rest of the day.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: Whereas if you wake up and your partner's put a croissant on a coffee next to the bedside table on the bedside table, like you know, it's and and the rest of the day kind of like goes into that energy.
- 27:48SPEAKER_00: So what I've noticed for myself is that doing this repatterning and coming to a place of feeling sufficient helps has helped me to feel more trust and faith in what I can't see, and therefore I can just take action from a place of excitement and curiosity and and uncertainty, and I trust that there is some kind of magic chisel going on outside that I can't see that's bringing me a reality that I can't create in my own brain yet.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: Because I 100% absolutely, yeah.
- 28:27SPEAKER_00: I I yes, there are some things that I would love, like I'd love a house by the sea, and I would you know, but but I don't there's I'm very sort of driven by how I want to feel.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: So, like you said at the beginning, the freedom and expressing yourself creatively.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: If I just keep doing what I'm in control of, there's every chance that the universe, the universal life force, the matrix, whatever, is gonna go here, Louise.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Here's an opportunity that you couldn't have created in your brain because you couldn't see it.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: And I've see I've it I mean it's been proven plenty of times when you put out that energy and suddenly you get this email or this message from someone like, What?
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: This is how this happened, like but it yeah, yeah.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: I think one of the ladies that I always come back to is JK Rowling, you know, when she was writing that Harry Potter and Train, I think the story goes, and she got rejected by so many people.
- 29:20SPEAKER_00: I'm quite certain at that at that point she wasn't thinking that she would have like Harry Potter World and that she'll be a billionaire, like but the but it was I remember listening to Wayne Dyer once, and he said, just focus on where you are and doing it with conviction, like you said, and energy and let the universe unfold in front of you.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: Yes, exactly.
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: And that makes us responsible for what we are in control of.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: Um, and you know, one of my other mentors says, you know, you're in you're in control of your attitude and you're in control of your actions.
- 29:56unknown: Yeah.
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: And if you focus on that and and you know, and harness that energy, then that's that's when things really start to change.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 30:05unknown: Love it.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: Anyway, my darling, we're gonna start wrapping up.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: So tell me or tell the listeners where they can find you.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: I will put all your links in the show notes anyway.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: But actually, before we even do that, just tell people what your business is and then tell people where they can find you.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: That would be a good idea.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: Well, I'm known as the Sales Page Pro.
- 30:23SPEAKER_01: So if you go to Instagram and just search for the Salesforce Pro, you'll find me.
- 30:26SPEAKER_01: Um, but that's what I do.
- 30:27SPEAKER_01: I help people with their sales pages, uh, help them convert better.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: And I love to be direct.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: I do not care for fluff.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: Uh, there's too many people out there trying to be too nice, but sometimes we just need the brutal honest.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: And um, it's not just about messaging, it's about design as well.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: It's about offers, it's about visual flow, it's about the whole package.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: And um, we tend to miss all that sometimes.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: And it's just a matter of making all those three three things work together.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: So, yeah.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: So, sales page pro.
- 30:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: Fabulous.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: Well, I'll make sure that every get everything gets put in the link.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: And I'm really excited to see how this timeline shift is gonna like play out for you moving through.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: So we'll be stalking you in BBD, and hopefully, we can reconnect maybe in like six months' time and share again what's happened when you just kind of like follow that simplicity, even when things are hard.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: So, thank you so much for yet again.
- 31:22SPEAKER_00: Another lovely conversation, and hopefully, I'll speak to you again soon.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much.
