Transcript
- 0:02Well, we've got some, I guess some more information about what
- 0:07was going on in the life of Celeste Rivas Hernandez and her
- 0:13family and her friends during the time that she was missing.
- 0:19We also have some insight as to what was happening in the
- 0:24Forvida's house houses multiple places apparently, and multiple
- 0:33juvenile girls. This all according to Steve
- 0:38Fisher, who didn't interview on another channel that I've linked
- 0:42down below. And I've got a couple clips that
- 0:45I want to talk about tonight. Yeah, it's it's disturbing,
- 0:51heartbreaking, but everything about this case is so on that
- 0:58happy note. Stay with me.
- 1:16This video contains mature themes and discussions intended
- 1:19only for adult audiences. Viewer discretion is advised.
- 1:25Well, hello there, my friend. Welcome back to another true
- 1:29crime conversation with me, Gavin Fish.
- 1:31Thank you so much for being here.
- 1:32Thanks for tuning in. Thanks for watching wherever
- 1:34you're watching from. And please tell me in the, in
- 1:38the comments where you are. I, I bonus points, we haven't
- 1:42done this in a while. Bonus points if you can tell me
- 1:46in a creative way that I, with my limited geography knowledge,
- 1:52can tell where you are. Yeah, those are always fun.
- 1:57Hey, do you ever have those days where you're just like, I've had
- 2:00enough of this day. Not that it's a bad day, but
- 2:05that has been my day today. And I'll tell you why.
- 2:08I'll tell you why because, you know, my siblings and I, I am
- 2:13number four of five. I am also the favorite of the
- 2:16five, but my siblings and I who are also beloved, just not as
- 2:21much as me because I'm obviously the favorite.
- 2:25We always made fun of my dad when my mom would go away for
- 2:31any amount of time, right? Like we'd make fun of him
- 2:35because he'd get so melancholy and he was just, I mean, all due
- 2:41respect and love to my sire. My father got kind of pathetic
- 2:47when mom wasn't around, but guess what?
- 2:53Oh, Kimberly, my snuggly bear, my sweetie pie, my one and only.
- 2:59She is on a trip right now and I don't even know how I cope.
- 3:06Like doing all the things that she does that just, and, and I
- 3:10mean, beyond just missing my, my snuggly bear, like, Oh my
- 3:15goodness, she does all the things, so many things in our
- 3:19house that are just like, automatically done.
- 3:22Not automatically because she jokes that hey, the the dish
- 3:27fairy. There is no dish fairy, OK?
- 3:31There is no, there's no fairy that washes the dishes.
- 3:33There is no fairy that cleans the house.
- 3:36Yeah, no, she keeps this house running like a Swiss watch.
- 3:42It is impressive and when she's not here, I just like by the end
- 3:47of the day, I'm like, you have had enough of this day, even
- 3:50when it's a good day, like today's been a good day.
- 3:52Today's been a terrific day. You know what happened today.
- 3:56This is totally I'm I'm not even talking about the case yet.
- 3:59We're we're just getting into just getting into my life load.
- 4:04This is a tangent. Yeah, this is this is definitely
- 4:17a tangent, but I, as you guys know, if you are a viewer of any
- 4:24amount of time, I back in August, I said the law.
- 4:29I started to say the long goodbye to fat Gavin.
- 4:32I had it had gotten out of control and here's what
- 4:35happened. Speaking of my sweetie pie,
- 4:36Snuggly Bear, one and only. We got married, began to
- 4:40cohabitate, began to have children, buy a house and stuff
- 4:46like that. And I didn't want to be anywhere
- 4:49else. I wanted to be home.
- 4:51And I got really lazy. And over the years, Kimberly and
- 4:56I have been married 26 1/2 years.
- 5:00Yeah, just got really fat. And I mean, it's it's not like
- 5:06it happened over and I knew what was happening.
- 5:08Have you seen my wife? She's she's physically fit and
- 5:11awesome and always has been. And I, and I honestly thought
- 5:15just naively as a young man, you know, I'm going to I'm going to
- 5:19hitch my wagon to this one and, and, and I will listen to her
- 5:25and I will do all the things that I need to remain physically
- 5:28fit. Well, she has done that, but I
- 5:29didn't anyway, back in August, I began the whole long goodbye.
- 5:35Goodbye fat Gavin. I get in the look in the mirror
- 5:38every morning, weigh myself and I say goodbye fat Gavin and I I
- 5:45set a goal back in August to I was 288 lbs that that's a big
- 5:51dude. I'm 6 foot 2, but I'm but I
- 5:55don't really have like a big build.
- 5:56I don't I'm not like wide shouldered or anything.
- 5:58I am not really that big. I'm just, I'm, I'm not built to
- 6:02have that much weight on me, let's put it that way.
- 6:04I was, I was 288 lbs and I set a goal back in August to be 200
- 6:10lbs. Not because, you know, I, I knew
- 6:15that at £200 I would be physically fit.
- 6:17No, I just was like, hey, 200 lbs.
- 6:21Well, what has happened since August?
- 6:24What? August, September, October,
- 6:26November, December, January, February, March, April.
- 6:29So we're not actually tomorrow will be the eight-month mark,
- 6:34right? So over 8 months, what is that
- 6:3832 weeks? Dude?
- 6:41I, I've been a little overly aggressive because you
- 6:43shouldn't, you shouldn't lose weight that quickly, but over,
- 6:47over the last eight months I have, I have bounced against
- 6:54different weights right where like, oh, I just can't
- 6:58breakthrough. I just can't breakthrough and
- 6:59then it breaks through and I'm able to keep going.
- 7:03Well, I've been bouncing up against 200 lbs for about the
- 7:06last week and a half. 200.4200.2200.6200.22 O 1.3.
- 7:14You know, it was like that, like, Dang it, Gavin.
- 7:17Well, you know what? I stepped on the scale this
- 7:19morning, 199.6. I broke through.
- 7:26So I have reached my first goal. I have lost over 88 lbs in eight
- 7:32months. That's too fast.
- 7:33Don't do that. Don't do that.
- 7:35It's too fast. There have been, there have been
- 7:38like some joint ramifications I've noticed because I'm a 50
- 7:43year old man that like I can build muscle quickly, but my
- 7:47joints can't take it, man. My, my, I, my, my joints, my
- 7:52tendons, my ligaments, they get, they get hurt.
- 7:57I haven't been able to lift a dumbbell in like 3 1/2 weeks now
- 8:03because my elbows are just inflamed, right.
- 8:06So anywho, don't, don't do that. But, but definitely this is a
- 8:12how this is not how to lose weight with Gavin.
- 8:15It is how Gavin lost weight. But I'm going to keep going
- 8:20because I can see that my body wants to be lighter and I want
- 8:26to build a little more muscle mass and I'm going to keep
- 8:29going. But it is pretty cool that I
- 8:31made that goal. Pretty awesome.
- 8:33All right, long, long, long tangent, for which I apologize.
- 8:42What are we talking about tonight, Gavin?
- 8:44Gavin, tonight we are talking about this young woman, Celeste
- 8:48Rivas Hernandez, the Lake Elsinore teen runaway who,
- 9:00Speaking of Hitchin wagons, hitched hers to a grown adult
- 9:06male, a grown man, a famous man. I almost can't blame her, right?
- 9:12Because she's a kiddo. She doesn't know.
- 9:15She doesn't, she doesn't get it. She doesn't have wisdom, she
- 9:18doesn't have experience. You only get that wisdom through
- 9:21experience. Sadly, she will never have the
- 9:24chance to grow old and wise because she has been murdered.
- 9:29And the man at the center of it is this guy, a guy named David
- 9:34Anthony Burke, which he is a singer and has a stage name that
- 9:39is spelled D4 VD. It's pronounced David, but no,
- 9:44no, I'm following in the steps of who am I following?
- 9:51Gavin. My mind, guys, my mind Pascal.
- 9:55I'm following in the steps of Pascal, who pronounces it
- 9:59Deformada. And I love it.
- 10:01I love it. So Deformada has been arrested.
- 10:04Here is the old mug. Here is a sketch of him in court
- 10:09last week. He is charged with the murder of
- 10:14Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 14 year old child who it appears
- 10:20when he started to lure her in, she was only 12 years old.
- 10:25And according to what we're going to talk about tonight, she
- 10:29wasn't the only one. And that just makes sense to me.
- 10:34She's not going to be the only one, right?
- 10:36Let me check in to see what you guys are saying over here.
- 10:39Garth B Nutt is expressing pride.
- 10:43Thanks. Garth B Nutt too.
- 10:45Thank you very much. I appreciate that.
- 10:47I am I'm feeling good about today.
- 10:51But you know what even with. Hey Jillian, thank you very much
- 10:54for the Super chat guys in Mr. Fisher's video that we're taking
- 10:59from another channel, you know the whole fair use thing to
- 11:02comment on it and so forth. I've linked down in the
- 11:05description below. He uses the CP term, and so I
- 11:11know that I'm going to get demonetized and I just didn't
- 11:14have it in me. Well, first of all, it's
- 11:17important, but if you can help with the Super chat or super
- 11:24sticker or a tip through my website or joining Patreon, that
- 11:30would go a long way. No pressure, no guilt, just an
- 11:34invitation. I deeply, deeply appreciate it.
- 11:36Thank you, Jillian, for that. Let's see, South Florida is
- 11:41here. Let me scroll all the way up

- 12:29extended me some grace on that. I think that is the great state
- 12:32of Kentucky. Michigan is here from the city
- 12:37that hosted the World's Fair in 19 O1.
- 12:40I'm just going to say Chicago. That's my guess.
- 12:42I don't know. I don't know Western can Canada
- 12:46here dipping toes in the Pacific Ocean.

- 13:00from the San Jose Earthquakes and Sharks.
- 13:02My own, my one and only roommate that I ever had, guy named Jeff
- 13:08was a San Jose Sharks nut. He was well beyond a fan.
- 13:14He loved, he loved the Sharks. Nikki is here from Bermuda.
- 13:22Thank you for being here. Kentucky is here, the city of
- 13:25many missions. Let's see, Santa Cruz, Santa
- 13:33Barbara, Santa San Francisco, San Jose.
- 13:39I don't know. Yesterday I got to have a little
- 13:43Chitty chat with one of my old and dear friends from Argentina.
- 13:47It's been so long since I've done that.
- 13:49Way too long. You know, my, my tongue just
- 13:53stops working in in Castilian until you until you use it a
- 13:58little bit home of L8 bourbon and horses.
- 14:04I'm from a country in the north of England, UK.
- 14:07It's where we have a pudding that you eat with roast beef
- 14:11coming to us from Yorkshire. Thank you for being here.
- 14:14Idaho. You guys are awesome.
- 14:16Erie, PA. Thanks.
- 14:17Thanks everybody. Thank you, thank you, thank you,
- 14:19thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you for all the
- 14:21congratulations on the, the health journey that I've been
- 14:25going through. OK guys, Steve Fisher.
- 14:29Steve Fisher is a private investigator.
- 14:32He is mostly, I see him on social media on X at SF under
- 14:36score Investigates. He was hired by the owner of the
- 14:43home that was being leased for Deformada in the Hollywood
- 14:48Hills. After the police went in there,
- 14:52after, you know, they vacated the house and the police went in
- 14:56there to do their investigation. But before Mr. Burke was
- 14:59arrested, because it was months, it was months.
- 15:07It took a month to arrest him. But he has been dripping out
- 15:12content, dripping out information from his
- 15:15investigation and and he was on with what is the name of the
- 15:22channel? Is it Judeon or I think it's
- 15:28Judeon. I think it's how you pronounce
- 15:30his name. What's funny is like he never
- 15:31says his own name. So I can't I'm not sure how he
- 15:33pronounces it. But anyway, super big channel, 5
- 15:36million plus subscribers. A very, very good live streamer
- 15:41does live streams every single day, every single weekday.
- 15:45Anyway, guys, guy seems just awesome.
- 15:50But he was on there and I prepared a couple of clips and
- 15:54then I've linked to the channel so you can go see the whole
- 15:57thing. It's like an hour and a half
- 15:58long, but Steve Fisher has been dripping out some information on
- 16:04X and last week. I, I think let's see, I want to
- 16:11be fair to myself and I want to be fair to commenters, right?
- 16:14The, the comments that I haven't liked it have been kind of like
- 16:22blaming of, of Celeste's family. But it's not that I just haven't
- 16:31liked them. It's just that I haven't seen
- 16:32any evidence that that her family did anything wrong.
- 16:38I, I, it kind of felt like a little, she was kind of a
- 16:41runaway and she was, you know, it's hard to control a kid that
- 16:46learns early on that people don't have control over them.
- 16:51And I, I trying to extend a little grace, trying to have
- 16:56some compassion, show some humanity.
- 16:59But according to Steve, it does seem like you guys are right and
- 17:05I am wrong on this. Now, also, don't get me wrong.
- 17:09Like I'm not afraid to call somebody out.
- 17:11You know, the Madeline Soto case is a good example of this, that
- 17:15that was a cluster from the beginning.
- 17:17Her Jennifer Soto. Oh, my goodness.
- 17:21I just wanted to shake her. And I think that she bears
- 17:24responsibility in the death of Madeline Soto, though it appears
- 17:27that she will never face responsibility.
- 17:30So I'm not afraid of it, but unless there's evidence, I, I
- 17:36don't want to just go off of kind of gut feeling, but you
- 17:41guys probably were maybe paying more attention on Reddit and
- 17:45other places. So, yeah, I think I think I have
- 17:52an apology to make, right? That that maybe there is some
- 17:58culpability here with, with members of her family and her
- 18:03inner circle. Now, this is not for, because we
- 18:07take victims seriously. We take victims families very
- 18:09seriously. And we like to temper our
- 18:14speculation with compassion and humanity, right?
- 18:16We we want to keep doing that. We just also want this to be a
- 18:23learning opportunity for everyone, including parents of
- 18:29maybe maybe parents of little ones that will have teenagers
- 18:32before they know it kind of thing.
- 18:35Because man, I've gone through it three times.
- 18:39I'm about to go through my 4th time and eventually I'll go
- 18:42through it my fifth time of raising teenagers.
- 18:47It is hard. They are hard.
- 18:51Loved them. I've I've I've also not liked
- 18:56them very much during they're like, teenagers are hard, right?
- 19:03Except for me, when I was a teenager, I was, I was pure as
- 19:06the wind driven snow. I was such an easy teenager.
- 19:09My parents had no problems with me because I was just just so
- 19:16easy. Now I'm saying that tongue in
- 19:18cheek and this is yeah, we better do another tangent,
- 19:25another fish tangent now. Yeah, That that's that's
- 19:29definitely worthy of a tangent. I was back in California in late
- 19:37February, if you guys remember, which is where I hailed from.
- 19:41It's where I was raised. It's where my wife was born and
- 19:43raised, Northern California. And I have a father who I am
- 19:49slowly but surely morphing into the evolution.
- 19:56It's got to be nearing completion by now.
- 19:58But my dad. The world's greatest dad, one of
- 20:04the things about him is he has kept a detailed journal forever,
- 20:10like his whole life. And each year of his journal
- 20:17takes up two, at least two bankers boxes.
- 20:21And so when I was back there in February, I asked him, hey, do
- 20:24you mind if I go through your journals?
- 20:25He's like, that's what they're there for.
- 20:27Great. So I went to 1993, which is the
- 20:33year that I graduated from high school, pulled down those boxes,
- 20:37started going through them, and my parents were having a hard
- 20:40time with me. Teenagers are tough and and I, I
- 20:51was a pretty darn good kid, but still, teenagers are tough,
- 20:54right? Teens are tough.
- 20:57So I I do want to extend as much grace as possible here, but we
- 21:07also want to make this a learning opportunity.
- 21:10So before we get to the video with Steve here, I did see a
- 21:16couple of super chats come in. I want to acknowledge those.
- 21:20Thank you to both of you who just did that.
- 21:23Caroline Taterville with a $3 super chat that or a super
- 21:27sticker. Thank you very much.
- 21:29And and 1 lucky girl with a super chat.
- 21:35Thank you very much. And what a beautiful cat in your
- 21:38little avatar there that is, or your profile pic, whatever we
- 21:42call it. Don't don't want to call it the
- 21:44wrong thing, but I did see AI did see a comment that is, you
- 21:52know, Scotch's mom, frequent frequent commenter.
- 21:55The only person to blame here is David.
- 21:58It is true. It is true, but also I, I think
- 22:02you get what I'm getting after here.
- 22:05We want to learn something here, right?
- 22:07We want to learn. So we are going to do this here.
- 22:12I think this first one is about 9 minutes long.
- 22:15Here is the clip of Steve Fisher.
- 22:19Here we go. On that day, he's got Celeste
- 22:23runs away that day and she's at the old house, the one where
- 22:27they did that live stream delete everything.
- 22:29And he's got another miner at the new house a mile and a half
- 22:33away. And I've got pictures of that.
- 22:34So that can be. This is kind of all new about
- 22:38there being like a new miner. If you can reveal, how old was
- 22:44this other minor that David was dealing with?
- 22:46She was 16 and 17. This was going on for a little
- 22:49for a while. I, I believe it goes back to
- 22:53when she was 1617 for sure. But he knew, you know, she, she
- 22:58was underage and, and, and listen, it's, it's kind of the
- 23:01same MO. It's kind of the praying on
- 23:05those that, you know, he can manipulate out of their
- 23:08environment, you know, and, and, and, and there's others and
- 23:12there's, there's another one too.
- 23:14So I mean, and, and I guarantee that there's there's, I mean, I
- 23:18can't guarantee him, but. No, I mean, any predator there,
- 23:22I would have multiple victims, yeah.
- 23:24There's going to be, there's, there's ones that I don't know
- 23:26about, Yeah. Yeah, I to me, that is a
- 23:28completely fair conclusion to, I mean, it's a little bit of a
- 23:32jump, but it's, it's fair to conclude that if he knows of
- 23:36three Celeste plus two more. And I mean, prosecutors allege
- 23:45that he has CP all over his phone, his iCloud account.
- 23:50This is a predator who, you know, has, has become adept at
- 23:59that. Predation is predation, a word
- 24:04you're not supposed to. The verb isn't predate.
- 24:08I know that that verb doesn't exist, but I think predation
- 24:12does. Anyway, he, he has become adept
- 24:15at that. I think that it's a fair
- 24:18conclusion to come to that. There is more than three, you
- 24:21know, it's one of those. If there are three, there are
- 24:2230, There are 30, there are 300 kind of thing.
- 24:26When I was in court yesterday, when I happened to be looking
- 24:29right at David, he was, he was seated kind of in front of me
- 24:33and they brought him in an orange jumpsuit and they sat him
- 24:36down at the table with his lawyers and they handcuffed him
- 24:40to the table. I didn't know what was coming
- 24:42out of the prosecutor. I happened to be looking at him
- 24:44because I was like, man, he, he looks so different.
- 24:46He does not look like, you know, David, you know the artist he
- 24:52looks, he just don't look the same.
- 24:55And so I was looking at him and then she, they were talking
- 24:57about when discovery, which is all the evidence and stuff is
- 25:02going to be delivered to his lawyers and, and the prosecutor
- 25:06comes out and I don't know, I don't, I don't wanna get you
- 25:09dinged off. Literally say like you can.
- 25:12You can you can say that. OK, so she comes out and says,
- 25:15you know, your Honor, one of the biggest issues and is that there
- 25:19on his phone, there was a voluminous amount of child porn
- 25:23proper word now is C Sam, right? And and but she went child porn
- 25:26and then she goes and because of this child porn, I mean, she's a
- 25:29child porn four times in a row. It was very intentional.
- 25:32You'd let him know. We know he just stared straight
- 25:36ahead. He wasn't like, he didn't turn
- 25:37to his lawyer, like what the hell, you know, he just.
- 25:41That's a valid point. He's like, yeah, of course I I
- 25:43know that it's on there. My lawyers already know that
- 25:45it's on there. They got my phone, they got my
- 25:48I, I cloud, they got it. He knew, like I think he knows
- 25:54that that he's they got him dead rights right now.
- 25:56So and but she made it sound like there's a lot on there.
- 25:59So I don't think it's just the last.
- 26:01I don't think it's just the less than this other minor that I'm
- 26:04talking about. I think I think that there's
- 26:05going to be a lot that he actually was in communication
- 26:09with and I think there's going to be probably a lot of that
- 26:10material that he sought out on the Internet.
- 26:13He probably had a pipeline of if, if he did what prosecutors
- 26:19are alleging, I should say that there's probably a pipeline,
- 26:23right? Because it'd be like any other.
- 26:26And this is like, I'm sorry, this is so crass.
- 26:29It's not really crass, but like, it's blunt.
- 26:32It's like a sales funnel, right? If you're a predator of that
- 26:35type, you've got a big tunnel or funnel at the top that you're
- 26:41dropping would be prey into hoping that one or two make it
- 26:46all the way through the funnel without escaping, right.
- 26:50So if he got 3 underage girls to, you know, he lured them out,
- 26:57he got them to do the things that he wanted them to do.
- 27:01And, you know, there's probably a pipeline.
- 27:05He probably has a full pipeline of would be victims.
- 27:09And the parents of those children should be thanking the
- 27:14LAPDLA County District, LA County District Attorney's
- 27:18Office for, you know, closing off that pipe because their
- 27:24daughters could have just as easily been victims.
- 27:29To the timeline, so I didn't know this.
- 27:32So it was January 2025 when that last show happened in 2024.
- 27:38She'd been gone well over a year when this was going down.
- 27:42I believe that live stream was 2024, January 2024.
- 27:46Then she starts then in February, you know, is when the
- 27:49and then there's runaways and then, you know, getting into
- 27:53around Valentine's Day is she runs away again.
- 27:55And then it's a year, it's well over a year that she's gone
- 27:59before. We now know that this happened,
- 28:01according to prosecutors in April of 2025.
- 28:06So she's gone a very long time. And that's been the whole thing
- 28:09is piercing this together. Where exactly was she?
- 28:11Because we didn't really have evidence that we had evidence
- 28:15that she had been to the house, but not that she was like living
- 28:18at the house. And David would travel a lot for
- 28:20concerts or whatever and nobody would stay in there.
- 28:23So we're like, where where was she in all this time?
- 28:25And then we find out that she wasn't truly a runaway.
- 28:29That's the part that's upsetting to me too, is that.
- 28:31Yeah, this is, this is super interesting, right?
- 28:34Was she or was she not a runaway?
- 28:37Because she was reported as a runaway.
- 28:39And this is where we start to get into what the family knew
- 28:43what what they didn't know what what they were maybe putting
- 28:48their head in the sand over right She was, she was showing
- 28:52up. She was back and forth.
- 28:54Her family knew where she was, and she'd shown up for like, her
- 28:58cousin's high school graduation. She showed up at a family event.
- 29:01There's a video out there of her arguing with the next door
- 29:04neighbors in the apartment complex next to her house, all
- 29:07while she's supposedly a missing person.
- 29:08And so it's all very frustrating.
- 29:10There's a lot of things, a lot of failures around her.
- 29:14And I understand she's probably a handful.
- 29:16I get that. But The thing is, she's a kid.
- 29:18That's part of being a parent. She needed direction, you know,
- 29:21she needed like the direction in life.
- 29:23And it's not OK. They knew who he was.
- 29:27And it's just, I don't care how rich he is.
- 29:29I don't care how famous he's becoming.
- 29:31I don't care he's living in a mansion and he can afford to
- 29:34support her. It's not OK.
- 29:36She's 1314 years old at this time.
- 29:39It's never OK. Well, I thought.
- 29:40Yeah, that's, I think that's well said, well articulated by
- 29:46by Steve Fisher, that like, if, if she was indeed behaving the
- 29:52way that Steve says she was going back and forth.
- 29:56She may have been hanging out with David, She may have been
- 29:58living with David, you know, here and there, coming back to
- 30:03the house, you know, going to family events.
- 30:07All the while she's supposedly a runaway, but they know that
- 30:14their 14 year old girl is with this 20 year old guy.
- 30:22Now that that is on them, that that definitely is on them.
- 30:27If that's true, like like I trust Steve Fisher, I think.
- 30:31I don't know that he has any, any incentive working against
- 30:35him to to lie about this, right. I think that he's probably
- 30:39telling us exactly what he what he learned.
- 30:44And yeah, I mean, the that then it's on the parents.
- 30:50Hey, real quick, I just remembered I wanted to let you
- 30:53guys know that tonight at 8:00 PM Eastern Time, so in about a
- 30:58little less than an hour and a half, I'm going to be a guest on
- 31:02Courtroom Confidential with with Josh Ritter.
- 31:05We're going to be talking about Nick Reiner, maybe a little bit
- 31:09of Deformida and this live stream will automatically
- 31:14forward over to Courtroom Confidential.
- 31:16I've set that up. So if if you want to check out a
- 31:19little more content about this case and the Nick Reiner case,
- 31:23Oh my goodness, did you guys see Jake Reiner's sub stack that he
- 31:28wrote about, about his experience, how he found out
- 31:32that his parents had been murdered?
- 31:36So we're going to be talking about that with Josh here at
- 31:398:00 PM Eastern Time, which is in about an hour and 25 minutes.
- 31:44I wanted to let you guys know that and neglected to do that
- 31:47before, but here we go. Let's keep going with Steve.
- 31:49Interesting about this case is you would think a lot of people
- 31:53close to him would be coming out saying things like, hey, this
- 31:57was weird and stuff like that. But you really haven't been
- 32:00seeing that. You know, the prosecutors are
- 32:02saying that they've gotten people to cooperate.
- 32:04They said they have some people that are more difficult.
- 32:07Do you personally think or do you know like actually that
- 32:12people knew her age and just didn't say anything about it
- 32:15100%? Listen, in that discord of his,
- 32:18there's people openly talk about it.
- 32:19They're like, hey, are you still going out with the underage
- 32:22girl? Are you still there talking
- 32:23about Epstein Island? Are you and Celeste going to
- 32:26Epstein Island? Like it's crazy how open it was
- 32:28not a secret, you know. And, and the people close to him
- 32:32and his orbit, listen, they knew.
- 32:35I mean, there's, there's live streams where not just the one
- 32:38with Celeste, but there's ones where he, he, he's talking to
- 32:42these two super young girls on like, I don't know what platform
- 32:48it was, but he's talking to them.
- 32:49And his friend Asia Collins is behind him and he's, he's
- 32:52laughing about the age of these girls and he's gooning.
- 32:55And it's, you know, it's, it's really frustrating because they
- 33:00have not like they didn't race forward with information.
- 33:03They waited to the last minute to save their own their selves.
- 33:07You know, like, all of a sudden, you know, we find out one of his
- 33:10friend Neo has to be arrested to be brought in front of the grand
- 33:14jury. That's not how it should be Like
- 33:16it. You shouldn't be.
- 33:17I don't care how close you were with this guy.
- 33:20If you got information, we're talking about a child.
- 33:23I mean, there's evidence that he met her, was interacting with
- 33:27her in like a creepy way when she was 12.
- 33:30You posted something I think that is.
- 33:34Steve, again, hitting the nail on the head like, OK, I, I guess
- 33:41I don't want to say the name of the, of the artist here on this,
- 33:47but this was maybe 10 or 12 years ago.
- 33:52I was working in high end audio and we were developing a product
- 33:56that we wanted to have an endorsement deal from an artist.
- 34:03Now we couldn't afford like, you know, like some a list or
- 34:08anything like that. So we were we were kind of going
- 34:11bottom of the barrel a little bit and I want to be very vague
- 34:17about this, but the number of people when we finally got the
- 34:22meeting, we finally got the meeting with this person.
- 34:27The number of people that we had to 1 go through and and two meet
- 34:35with and, you know, watch them as they circled us as we were
- 34:41having our meetings and stuff like that there it was crazy how
- 34:46many, you know those, you know, those fishes that like suck on
- 34:52to like a shark. The shark is swimming around.
- 34:55It's got like four or five of these fishes sucked onto it,
- 34:58cleaning it off and everything like that.
- 35:00It felt like there was a great white shark with like 1000 of
- 35:07those fishes just attached to them.
- 35:09That's that's the way it felt. So yeah, in in the case of
- 35:16Deformada, he's a rising star, but he's got a contract with a
- 35:21label, he is touring, he's dropping EPS, he he is on the
- 35:28rise, the amount of people. Plus he's active on social
- 35:32media, he's on Discord, He's he's all over the place, right?
- 35:37He's live streaming, he's tik toking, he's doing everything.
- 35:41That dude had so many people around him that all knew.
- 35:46They all knew. That girl is 14.
- 35:50That girl is 12, that girl is 17.
- 35:53They all knew. They all knew.
- 35:57And some of them didn't know willfully.
- 36:01They'd be like head, head muffs, you know, earmuffs.
- 36:04La La, la, la, la, La La la. Don't tell me, but they would,
- 36:09They would. I mean, come on, they'd go over
- 36:11to the house and see that she's there first thing in the morning
- 36:15and she's wearing the same clothes that she was wearing
- 36:18last night. You know, it's like they don't
- 36:21have to be polymaths in order to, to do the calculations on
- 36:24what's happening there. There would be so many people.
- 36:29And it's actually one of the reasons that the entertainment
- 36:32industry just, I just hate it so much.
- 36:36You know, I, I get approached not all the time, but with, with
- 36:41some regularity for some production company or some
- 36:46project or whatever to, you know, inviting me if I want to
- 36:53be involved in whatever it is they're doing.
- 36:55I, I, it's not, it's not all the time, but, but it happens.
- 36:59And I went through to, I went through the process almost all
- 37:07the way through twice before I just said to myself, Gavin, you
- 37:12do not like this industry. You do not like it.
- 37:15You don't like how predatory it is.
- 37:17You don't like how incestuous it is.
- 37:19You, you don't let you just stay away, right?
- 37:23And, and that's how I feel Deformada would have, they all
- 37:28would have known and there would be several, in my opinion, and I
- 37:35don't think this is a leap, there would be several that
- 37:39would known about the murder that it wouldn't would have
- 37:41known about the continuous essay, would have known about
- 37:45the CP would have known about the dismemberment, the storage
- 37:51that there would have been so many because he he wouldn't be
- 37:55able to keep any of that private.
- 37:57He wouldn't like I, I don't think that it would even be
- 38:01possible. Steve is hitting the nail on the
- 38:03head here. And in all of this, we've got a
- 38:0714 year old child who has lost her life and she was surrounded
- 38:13probably mostly by men probably. But you know what?
- 38:17There would be women in this one too.
- 38:20There would be members of of Deformitus family, his inner
- 38:24circle, other girls. I bet there would be girls that
- 38:29were finally adults that had been going had been abused for a
- 38:34couple years before they were adults that are like watching
- 38:37the the little ones come in and going.
- 38:39I know what's going to happen to you.
- 38:40They there would they'd be there be mostly men, in my opinion.
- 38:45That's my guess. But yeah, I Steve is Steve is on
- 38:52point here. Right.
- 38:54On your feed where you showed a timeline that you believe what
- 38:59happened because the prosecutors said, correct me if I'm
- 39:02mistaken, they believe that the murder happened April 23rd,
- 39:062025, right? Yep.
- 39:08Can you explain to us why you think they think that was the
- 39:13day she was murdered? And can you explain the timeline
- 39:17of from that day until September 8th when her body was found?
- 39:22Do you think that he left her in the Tesla the whole time?
- 39:25Do you think her body was stored somewhere else and he just kept
- 39:28on moving the car? Why do you think he didn't try
- 39:31to dispose of the body? If you can, could you give us
- 39:33that whole timeline and everything?
- 39:35Because I think that was like the best thing anyone's ever put
- 39:37out, where it's like something we could visually see.
- 39:39Yeah, and in a lot of this, I'm just never going to understand,
- 39:42right, Even like what was going on in his mind.
- 39:47But so there's two dates that they put out there, April 23rd,
- 39:51they believe his day. She was lured to the house and
- 39:54then some point shortly. He was lying in wait, remember,
- 39:58That's one of the special circumstances.
- 40:00For killed with a sharp object, they're saying, and then May 8th
- 40:04is the 5th or they have to look at the timeline to be honest
- 40:07with is when they're saying she was dismembered.
- 40:10You got this gap in time where where now where did he store
- 40:13her? You know, because you know
- 40:17you're going on a week and a half and and that's the really
- 40:21the point of building that timeline.
- 40:22The timeline only focuses on this time period between the
- 40:27April 23rd and the 8th and in May when he dismembers her and.
- 40:32Hey, let me go back to something that I've said previously, but
- 40:35this bears repeating. I once went on a call with a
- 40:39county coroner to a death investigation.
- 40:42Scene where a victim, he, he died naturally, but a decedent,
- 40:50let's say, had been missing for a week.
- 40:53Nobody had seen him for a week. The the bouquet that emanated
- 41:01from his apartment was strong. And by the time we got there,
- 41:05every door and window had been opened.
- 41:07It had been, it had been aired out quite a bit by the time we
- 41:11got there. There's, there's no storing a 14
- 41:17year old girl in a trunk for a week and a half without anybody
- 41:21noticing. I, I just, I just don't see it
- 41:23at all. I, I think there's probably a
- 41:26freezer involved. And I know that LAPD is like,
- 41:29no, that never happened. I I think so.
- 41:34I think probably. And what we're trying to do is
- 41:37just find out what his movement was for one in that time period
- 41:41and also kind of what his mental state, at least public facing
- 41:45was. And and we've started to
- 41:47compile. Then we learned well, April 23rd
- 41:49is when they announced weather tour is happening.
- 41:52He just gotten done with Coachella a couple days earlier.
- 41:56He's at Coachella. And then he they announced the
- 41:58wither tour is is or the the wizard album is dropping.
- 42:04And so on the 24th, they have a, so we're talking just hours
- 42:10after he would have killed her. They have a album release party
- 42:13here in LA on the 25th. There he he heads out to New
- 42:17York for a three day band lab pop up in New York City.
- 42:23And then he goes from that, he goes to Houston to his hometown
- 42:27in Houston. And he's from Houston.
- 42:30Yeah. Wow, I'm from Houston.
- 42:32I'm I'm here, right? I didn't even know that.
- 42:33So then he goes to Houston for a couple days and so he's moving
- 42:36on. Like I'm talking, you know, he
- 42:38has a if, if prosecutors are correct about the 23rd being the
- 42:42day, and I believe they are because I, there's somebody that
- 42:44obviously gave them the information then within hours.
- 42:49Yeah, where did they get that April 23rd date?
- 42:51There would be a witness, somebody, maybe not a witness to
- 42:56the to the stabby stabby, but a witness to the Yeah, he, she was
- 43:02going over to his house, maybe a witness to the stabby stabby.
- 43:05But yeah, there's there's, there's likely.
- 43:09And how did they, how did they narrow down April 23rd?
- 43:12He's fine. He's in a mindset where he's
- 43:13like, I'm ready to go to the party, ready to go to New York.
- 43:17He it's not affecting him. OK, that's that's the first clip
- 43:21that I want to show you. Let's bring Celeste back up and
- 43:23let's let's go over to your comments real quick.
- 43:26I just want to grab a few comments before we move on to
- 43:30the next one. Let me just scrollify up here,
- 43:45Rachel Mills says. Gavin, how do you feel about
- 43:48Epic Games not removing the four Veda content and giving
- 43:51automatic refunds? Yeah, I think, I think that
- 43:55everybody, I I think they should have done that.
- 43:58For sure. I didn't.
- 43:58I haven't followed that side of it, but yeah, for sure.
- 44:06Panda and Gavin, my sister and I are 18 months apart.
- 44:10My mom told my sister when she got older, there's nothing she
- 44:14can disappoint, stress or piss her off more than I'd had.
- 44:18That's funny. Or 18 years that's funny.
- 44:23Hey, listen. In comparison, well, comparison
- 44:28is the thief of joy. I, I feel like I was a pretty
- 44:33good kid, that's all I'm saying. But, but according to my dad, I
- 44:37was giving them a run for their money.
- 44:39Rachel Mills, when I saw him at the conference, he looked like
- 44:41he was a bored about what was going on.
- 44:44Crazy. Like he was bored.
- 44:48Oh, my goodness, Sharky says. Willful ignorance for money.
- 44:54He could not have pulled this off without enablers just like
- 44:57Epstein. Exactly, exactly.
- 45:01Thanks, Sharkey, and thank you so much for the Super chat.
- 45:04Appreciate that. Tina May Gavin, if it comes out
- 45:07that David was or had been giving the family money, would
- 45:11that be considered trafficking? I don't know.
- 45:14I don't know what the I don't know what the definition is.
- 45:20If it comes out that he was giving them money, I don't know.
- 45:27Let's see, yeah, his name is Judeon, but I don't know how to
- 45:33pronounce it because he never says his name, at least the part
- 45:37that I saw. But anyway, FB Arena, thank you
- 45:41very much for being here. Autumn says they say predators
- 45:45usually groom the whole family. Well, that certainly was the
- 45:49case with with Madeline Soto, right.
- 45:54Like I don't want to take any responsibility off of Jen Soto,
- 45:58but I think that I think Stefan had her had her groomed for
- 46:04sure. Yep.
- 46:07All right, let's see, Lib says courtroom confidential and Gavin
- 46:14crossover event. Indeed, indeed.
- 46:17I love it when Josh invites me on.
- 46:19It's really well, it's usually TIF that invites me on.
- 46:21Let's be, let's be honest, like, who is the powerhouse of that
- 46:26couple? Hint, it ain't Josh, though.
- 46:29He's pretty rad. Scotch's mom.
- 46:34OMG, Gavin. That essay Jake wrote was
- 46:36heartbreaking. Yeah, the Jake Reiner can't
- 46:39imagine the pain he and his sister are going through on a
- 46:42daily basis. Yeah, tune into Courtroom
- 46:43Confidential. We'll be talking about that a
- 46:45little bit, Sinabay says. I've seen the video.
- 46:52I also seen the mom's Facebook from before the trunk.
- 46:56She barely mentioned her missing daughter.
- 46:59Interesting. No.
- 47:00No talking about where Celeste is.
- 47:02She knew where Celeste was, I guess.
- 47:03Huh. Know exactly where she was.
- 47:07Coffee time for Dee Gavin. Children are hard, period.
- 47:11True. Let's focus on the real villains
- 47:13here. If all these folks knew they are
- 47:15the real problem. This.
- 47:16The parents are secondary. She may have run away each time
- 47:20and they tried. Possible.
- 47:22Yeah, it's possible. Sure.
- 47:25And I mean, we're going to talk about the parents.
- 47:28Steve's going to talk about the parents here in a little bit, a
- 47:30little bit more if I remember the clip that I that I grabbed.
- 47:36So yeah, there's probably a spectrum of villainry here,
- 47:40right? David being the the most
- 47:47villainous and you know, all the way down to, you know, the
- 47:53Archangel Gabriel or somebody completely not villainous.
- 47:59There probably is a spectrum. I think that the enablers that
- 48:04there will be there will be the equivalent of a Jillian Maxwell
- 48:08in this. I I I can feel it in my opinion
- 48:11only. But yeah, thank you for the
- 48:14comment. A couple more.
- 48:17Let me just scroll on down. Shelley Stone 812 says yes,
- 48:22Gavin, a freezer. That's why no blood.
- 48:24I think that's probably the case.
- 48:28OK, I think I'm caught up on your comments.
- 48:30Let's go back over to Mr. Fisher.
- 48:34This, this one is about the same length.
- 48:38Let's see if I get the right one up.
- 48:40This is the second video. Same.
- 48:43It's just a clip from the from Jadeon's channel.
- 48:46And I am so sorry if I am butchering the name.
- 48:50I'm, I'm sorry, I, I am, I try to be a stickler for that stuff,
- 48:56but here we go, Steve continued. So Oh my gosh man, I did not.
- 49:02And by the way, like this guy has more, more subscribers than
- 49:07I would know what to do. It's like 5 million subscribers,
- 49:09but he's doing good work man. And there is a link in the
- 49:13description over to his channel. Please go check him out.
- 49:17Because I was under the impression that they might have
- 49:19known that he was, that she was with him, but there wasn't
- 49:23anything. But you have verifiable evidence
- 49:26to show that. And when you say family members,
- 49:28you don't have to disclose who, but are these adult family
- 49:31members that would have a say in her life?
- 49:34Yeah, now, like so like the one and her name's already been put
- 49:40out there. It says Moralda is a cousin who
- 49:42was who is was a senior in high school.
- 49:46But I'm not so much believe in her.
- 49:48But The thing is, is that Esmeralda's parents, who would
- 49:52be her aunt and stuff like that, knew.
- 49:54Listen, I have other proof of care schools, but yes, there was
- 49:57adults. There was several people in her
- 49:59family that knew. Listen, her mom admitted she
- 50:02knew she was dating a guy named David.
- 50:04And she said, oh, I didn't like, she knew who it was.
- 50:06I mean, he would come out there and pick her up, you know, in
- 50:09the Tesla. And they knew she'd been found
- 50:12there, you know, before police knew.
- 50:15Note to parents, Listen. Note to parents Is this an Uncle
- 50:20Gavin moment? This is an Uncle Gavin moment.
- 50:23Guys, you.
- 50:46Got to get the old Uncle Gavin glasses on here.
- 50:49Hey, kids, it's your Uncle Gavin.
- 50:53Listen, if you have let's say 12, 131415 year old daughter and
- 51:01a grown man is showing up in a Tesla and picking her up at your
- 51:06house, you are to stop that immediately, OK?
- 51:13Nothing good's going to come from that.
- 51:18And we're all going to judge you for being a dill hole if you let
- 51:23that happen to your child, if you know about it.
- 51:27I don't know that Steve knows specifically.
- 51:29He sure is speaking pretty specifically and unequivocally.
- 51:35But just for future reference, if you have, could be a son too.
- 51:41A son or daughter, a minor and a grown adult is showing up in a
- 51:46fancy car to take that minor child away from you for an hour
- 51:53a day, a week. It does not matter.
- 51:56The answer is no. Call the popo.
- 52:01This has been a message from Uncle Gavin.
- 52:02OK, let's go back to to Steve and we'll continue.
- 52:08That she was with him at, at, at some point before that, because
- 52:14listen to the, the person that sent the e-mail to his
- 52:17management saying, you know, word is that she's with David.
- 52:23If that's true, please make sure she comes home.
- 52:25You know, she's 13 years old. They only knew to send that to
- 52:29his manager because it was no, it was no secret in Lake
- 52:33Elsinore, where she lived, that she was with David the singer.
- 52:37That e-mail are you? Is that an e-mail that you can't
- 52:41release out there just. Yet no, I, I, I have released
- 52:44it. It's out there.
- 52:45Could you? Could you send me that e-mail so
- 52:47I could show my audience? Because I have not heard anybody
- 52:50report on an e-mail being sent. So just for you guys that don't
- 52:54understand what Mr. Fisher's saying, is that Steve?
- 52:59Steve. So was it the school or was it
- 53:02who? Who was it that sent the e-mail
- 53:03to the man? So.
- 53:04I I can't disclose who sent it. I've disclosed the e-mail with
- 53:08the person's name redacted from it and I'm looking for here.
- 53:13I don't know if I have it on this case file or not but what
- 53:16it says is an e-mail sent to David at Mogul dot Vision.
- 53:22Mogul Vision is his management. His managers name Josh Marshall
- 53:29has coming called Mobile Vision. And then and so it was sent to
- 53:33David at mogul dot vision, which is the e-mail address and it
- 53:36just said something paraphrasing rumor is that Celeste Rivas
- 53:40Hernandez, who's 13 years old, maybe with the singer David.
- 53:44If this is true, please make sure she gets home safely.
- 53:48Her family misses her something that's very close to what it
- 53:51said. And she showed her up the next
- 53:55morning. So they they got it and I know
- 53:57David got it. I know for a fact, again, I
- 54:00can't say why without disclosing because then he would kind of be
- 54:03all figured out and the person's worried about it.
- 54:05But it was sent to David from his management company and
- 54:07they're like, Hey, yo, you know, So, you know, and he then
- 54:11forwarded it to some people. But that was sent by a concerned
- 54:17person in the Lake Elsinore community that knew, you know,
- 54:22it's one of those communities where people know each other and
- 54:25especially around her school was not a teacher, but I will say
- 54:28it's somebody connected to the school and.
- 54:32OK. I think is this the e-mail right
- 54:33here? I'm going to share my screen.
- 54:36So you posted this on your Twitter, correct?
- 54:38Yeah. OK.
- 54:40Yes, that's it. And they, they included a
- 54:42picture of the, I mean the missing persons flyer in it as
- 54:45well. So this is the e-mail that was
- 54:48sent to that's. February 19th of 2024, I mean,
- 54:52this is how long she was 13 at this time, yes.
- 54:55And, and The thing is, is that like people knew she was with
- 54:58David. This is back in 2024.
- 55:00This is a year before more, more more than a year before we would
- 55:04even have, you know what I mean? Because it wasn't until
- 55:07September of 2025 that she's found.
- 55:10So all the way back in February of 2024, they're like Lake
- 55:15Elsinore. People know she's with David.
- 55:17So my question now is because in this e-mail it says there's been
- 55:21talk that the artist David possibly has something to do
- 55:24with the disappearance of 13 year old Celeste Rivas.
- 55:27If that statement holds any merit, please do the right thing
- 55:30and take her home. Her parents are very worried.
- 55:32Now my question is, is this person is not a family member
- 55:35related to Celeste, right? No, she's not.
- 55:38So if this random person may have been close or whatever, but
- 55:44whoever this person was, they knew to send this e-mail to this
- 55:49manager. Why didn't Celeste's parents
- 55:52reach out as. Well, great question.
- 55:55That's a good question. That's something we'd like
- 55:58answers to. You know, it's, it's hard to,
- 56:02you know, at the beginning we asked the same questions to
- 56:05ourselves like, OK, we have, why would, why wouldn't the parents
- 56:08really think, OK, well, maybe this is when this is when ice
- 56:12raids are really ramping up, right?
- 56:14And we're like, OK, maybe there's like documentation
- 56:17issue, but that's not the case. We find out well, OK, so that's
- 56:21not the case. So what, what is it then?
- 56:23You know, and then things start coming out about There's photos
- 56:28of meetings in Lake Elsinore with David with a paper bag
- 56:33barely full of money. You guys, have you guys seen
- 56:37that picture? We've all seen this.
- 56:39Picture photo of that on Twitter.
- 56:41I think I have, if not, if you just, if you just search David,
- 56:47you know, bag of money in Lake Elsinore or something like that,
- 56:50It'll, it'll come up. It's a pretty well known
- 56:52picture. Now He's in a parking lot.
- 56:54Yeah. So do you know when that picture
- 56:57was dated? I don't remember the exact date,
- 57:02but this is while this is, this is during the time when she's,
- 57:05you know, when she's missing so and so.
- 57:10That's it right there. Yep, so do you.
- 57:14Do you know who these people are right here?
- 57:18I do. I can't.
- 57:18I can't say who is. They're minors too.
- 57:20I do is. There any relation to?
- 57:24They're not you're not, they're not related.
- 57:27I'll tell you. They're people now that are
- 57:29definitely fighting for for Celeste though.
- 57:31They're. People fighting for Celeste.
- 57:34Yeah, so. And this is him and.
- 57:37This is Lake Elsinore, where she lived and went to school.
- 57:40Like this is this is this is like three blocks from her
- 57:43house. In mind you, Lake Elsinore is
- 57:45about 75 or 80 miles from the house where David lives.
- 57:48So it's not like just around the corner.
- 57:50So he's out there for a reason. I was gonna say so.
- 57:53Oh, man. Like, the main focus needs to be
- 57:55on because, you know, Celeste isn't here anymore, so she
- 57:57needs. Yeah, right.
- 57:58Justice for her family. But, you know, I you know, I
- 58:01know you don't want to say it, but I'll, you know, I don't
- 58:04care. I'll take the bullet.
- 58:06You know, I see this as a lot of people in her life been
- 58:09prevented before it got to this point.
- 58:13I like the way that that is said a lot of people in her life.
- 58:16Failed her. A lot of people in her life
- 58:20failed her. And then not to mention all the
- 58:25predators that that went after her and all of the like, the
- 58:31orbiting predators, right? The the ones that want the
- 58:34pieces that fall out of the shark's mouth.
- 58:37So many your death could have been prevented.
- 58:39You can say that this is victim. Blaming and stuff like that.
- 58:42Well, no, this is. Just accountability, you know,
- 58:43this is a child and a child needs to have some kind of
- 58:49guidance to keep people away from bad people.
- 58:51It doesn't matter how much money someone has, status or anything
- 58:54like that. And you know, so because this is
- 58:57a lot of new information that I feel like mainstream media isn't
- 59:00like talking about, about there being two different houses.
- 59:02So Celeste went to two different houses, and one of those houses
- 59:07there was a case report about her.
- 59:10Where was it? Was it a missing persons case
- 59:13report or was it a different type of case report?
- 59:16Yeah, it stemmed from a. Missing persons case.
- 59:19So West Hollywood had been apparently been asked to do like
- 59:23a welfare check or, or look for Celeste when she was missing at
- 59:26this house. And so they had an open report
- 59:28about it. I, I don't have the exact
- 59:30details. I can't get it because they've,
- 59:31they've shut me off from it. But what they did tell me was
- 59:34there's an open investment investigation.
- 59:36So I think that's one of the that's one of the ways they can
- 59:40say that she was murdered as a witness.
- 59:43But it doesn't even have to be that.
- 59:45It can be to her own case. But it all, you know, just shows
- 59:49just by the, you know, by the dates of like that e-mail that
- 59:53was sent and stuff that's been going on a very long time.
- 59:56And he wasn't worried, you know what I mean?
- 59:58Like he kept having her come back and he wasn't worried about
- 1:00:01it. So I think there's a reason why
- 1:00:04we haven't seen a lot of statements, you know?
- 1:00:05And like you said, it's about accountability, right?
- 1:00:07And I don't care if she was a handful, maybe she was.
- 1:00:13And if parents get to the point where they just can't, they
- 1:00:16don't know what to do anymore. They can't just let them be
- 1:00:19like, OK, just go live whatever life you want to live.
- 1:00:22This is rich. What could go wrong that he's
- 1:00:25famous that you can't. Like, there's as much as I hate
- 1:00:28the CPS system, there are systems in place by the state.
- 1:00:32You got you got to go. You you can't just make a
- 1:00:35decision to that they can. She's 13.
- 1:00:37I guess you can. She's got this.
- 1:00:39You know, you can't do that, right?
- 1:00:41And and so there's yeah, there's got to be accountability.
- 1:00:44I understand that. I'm sure they're grieving.
- 1:00:47I'm sure they feel a tremendous amount of guilt.
- 1:00:48But it's going to also be a learning experience maybe for
- 1:00:51other parents that this should never be right.
- 1:00:54Yeah, I, I think and. I think he's right.
- 1:00:57I think he's absolutely right. Let's let me just check in on
- 1:01:01your we'll bring Celeste up here one more time.
- 1:01:03Let me just check on what you guys are saying over here.
- 1:01:07Make sure that I've got all of the all of the comments.
- 1:01:15Here's one that I missed. Let's see from Flojo TV, Gavin,
- 1:01:19the e-mail that was sent to the manager, which David has seen
- 1:01:22was sent to Josh Marshall and his wife and was sent to a
- 1:01:25family friend of Celeste's family.
- 1:01:28It's been around Kelly says. Gavin, please watch Strategic
- 1:01:33Eyes with True Crime in depth on a level not showing but crazy.
- 1:01:37Really need to watch. OK, Debbie agrees 100%.
- 1:01:42Glad I will. I will teach Josh, yes, how to
- 1:01:47say the formula for sure. That's funny.
- 1:01:51So, yeah. And I mean, I'm really grateful
- 1:01:55that Steve did this interview and grateful that Dion did it.
- 1:02:03I wish I knew how to pronounce his name, but so grateful that
- 1:02:07he did because that does give us some, I guess, deeper view into
- 1:02:14the complicated nature of this case, right?
- 1:02:18It's pretty darn cool now. Hey guys, we got more.
- 1:02:23We got more before we, we've wrapped up this segment, but we
- 1:02:28got a little bit more. We got some headlines to go
- 1:02:31over, including an update on Lily and Jack Sullivan, an
- 1:02:35update on Brian Koburger from our friend Brian Enten.
- 1:02:39We've got, we've got a strange case of a mom who who killed her
- 1:02:45children in a custody dispute and some good news as well.
- 1:02:49But before we get to those, how about we do three questions?
- 1:02:53It's three questions with Gavin Fish.
- 1:03:01OK, in three questions in this segment, guys, you guys can send
- 1:03:05to me to my e-mail address. 3 questions at gavinfish.com.
- 1:03:08Three questions at gavinfish.com.
- 1:03:10Send me whatever question you want.
- 1:03:13It could be my favorite color, could be something and you're
- 1:03:15wondering about the mysteries of the universe.
- 1:03:18I probably am not qualified to answer, but I answer it.
- 1:03:23I shall. I definitely will, so please
- 1:03:27send that in. The only caveat is I will do it
- 1:03:31three at a time and in the order in which I see fit.
- 1:03:34So let's go to here we go. First question from Krista.
- 1:03:41You've mentioned that you like colder weather, which is
- 1:03:44completely unrelatable for me even though I've lived my entire
- 1:03:47life in a cold climate. What is your favorite cold
- 1:03:50weather outdoor activity? Sledding, snowmobiling, ice
- 1:03:54skating. You know what the reason that I
- 1:03:58like the cold weather is because I just didn't.
- 1:04:05Well, I served as a missionary as a young man in Argentina and
- 1:04:11Argentina 30 plus years ago. There weren't lots of lots of
- 1:04:20opportunities for air conditioning.
- 1:04:22It was so hot. And I just remember going, I
- 1:04:26never want to be this hot ever again.
- 1:04:28And I remember in the cold times, at least I could like
- 1:04:30pile on clothing, you know, and get myself warm, but I couldn't
- 1:04:35get myself cool in the heat. And then I grew up in
- 1:04:38Sacramento, CA, where, you know, it reaches over 100 pretty
- 1:04:43frequently. So I like the colder weather
- 1:04:46just because I can always warm up and I can hardly ever cool
- 1:04:49down. Out of the ones that you
- 1:04:52mentioned, I do love ice skating.
- 1:04:54I'm, I, I got to say I haven't done it in a long time, but I'm
- 1:04:59not a skier, not a you know, I'm just, I think out of those I've,
- 1:05:07I've always enjoyed ice skating. We did a lot of ice skating when
- 1:05:12we were kids. We'd go to the, to the rink.
- 1:05:14There are, there were a couple of rinks in Sacramento that we'd
- 1:05:16go to. But that's the reason why I like
- 1:05:20the cold is it's just, oh, and also when it snows, it covers up
- 1:05:24my lawn. I don't have to mow it.
- 1:05:26I I would so rather shovel snow then mow a lawn.
- 1:05:32Diane W this time. Oh, what a great question.
- 1:05:36What is your favorite colour with the silent you watching
- 1:05:41from Australia loves my work. Well, thank you Diane W My
- 1:05:44favorite colour is yellow or as our son said when he was a
- 1:05:49little lilo. I yeah, I just yellow.
- 1:05:56And actually the, you know, the funny part about it is that it's
- 1:05:58a warm color. I like the warmth of the color.
- 1:06:00Makes me feel good. I'm an enigma, guys.
- 1:06:04I'm an enigma. But yeah, you know, in my skin
- 1:06:07tone, I'm not able to wear yellow.
- 1:06:12I it just doesn't look good on me.
- 1:06:14Maybe maybe like a, a tie or or pocket square, I might do a
- 1:06:20flash of yellow, but I, I, I don't wear like my, my ring is
- 1:06:24white gold, not yellow gold. And I, I don't have a single
- 1:06:28watch that's yellow gold. I, I do not wear necklaces and
- 1:06:32stuff like that. I just don't wear gold.
- 1:06:34I don't like, I don't look good in yellow.
- 1:06:37My wife, though, she looks really good in yellow.
- 1:06:40She she is she looks good in a lot of things, but yellow is a
- 1:06:43is a beautiful color on her and it's just so warm and happy.
- 1:06:47Makes me smile. I like it.
- 1:06:50Third question is which song, if played on repeat forever, would
- 1:06:55be the quickest to break your spirit?
- 1:06:57John, I thought that was going somewhere else.
- 1:06:59I thought this was going to be like a Colbert questionnaire.
- 1:07:01Which song if you could only listen to one for the rest of
- 1:07:05your life, would you choose which song would be the quickest
- 1:07:08to break my spirit? Probably that stupid.
- 1:07:12This is the song that never ends.
- 1:07:15That one. That one for sure.
- 1:07:19Who don't like that song? I'd love to hear your comments.
- 1:07:24What are the three questions again?
- 1:07:27You know, what's your favorite cold weather activity?
- 1:07:30What's your favorite color and why?
- 1:07:32And what song, if played on repeat forever, would break your
- 1:07:36spirit? Put those in the comments
- 1:07:40because we will be going through comments after we check out a
- 1:07:44couple headlines. Here we go.
- 1:07:51True crime headlines Hey, before we get into true crime
- 1:07:56headlines, Flojo TV says jid wrong button.
- 1:08:01Gavin, this button says jidion. But where's the accent?
- 1:08:07I want to put the emphasis on the correct syllable.
- 1:08:10Is it on D jidion or is it is on the J jedion?
- 1:08:16I think it's on the D jedion. Thank you for that for that
- 1:08:20super chat. I love it Pronunciation guy says
- 1:08:25G Dion, G Dion, but where's the emphasis got to put it on the
- 1:08:31right syllable. All right, what are we doing?
- 1:08:36We're doing headlines, right? That's what we're doing.
- 1:08:39All right. Come with me, if you will, over
- 1:08:41here to wrong headline, Gavin. We want to do that one last.
- 1:08:45Let's do the first one here because this is the one that
- 1:08:48matters the most to me. This from the Globe and Mail
- 1:08:51written by Lindsey Jones. Jack and Lily Sullivan's take
- 1:08:56two, hobby. Take two.
- 1:08:57Can we, can we correct that in post?
- 1:09:00I'm getting word from hobby that we can correct that in post.
- 1:09:03Jack and Lily Sullivan's mother joins search party nearly a year
- 1:09:08after their disappearance. Poor theme.
- 1:09:13All right, Malia Brooks Murray far right.
- 1:09:18Join the Please Bring Me Home search for her children, Lily
- 1:09:21and Jack Sullivan, who are reported missing from home in
- 1:09:24Lansdowne, Nova Scotia, nearly a year ago.
- 1:09:26All right, nearly a year after 2 Nova Scotia children
- 1:09:29mysteriously disappeared, their mother, Malia Brooks Murray,
- 1:09:33joined an independent search team on Sunday, a group of about
- 1:09:3740 volunteers and a human remains.
- 1:09:38A detection dog combed backwoods trails near the home where Jack
- 1:09:43and Lily Sullivan were reported missing in the rural community
- 1:09:46of Lansdowne, discovering one possible clue that has been
- 1:09:50passed on to police. Nick Oldrieve, executive
- 1:09:56director of Please Bring Me Home, an Ontario based
- 1:09:58charitable organization that helps find missing people in
- 1:10:01Canada, said a child sized boot print was found in a wooded area
- 1:10:05of the Pipeline Trail, less than a kilometer from where a piece
- 1:10:09of Lily's pink blanket was found last May.
- 1:10:11He said he sent the GPS coordinates and a photo to RCMP
- 1:10:15major crime investigators. Quote, it's definitely a
- 1:10:18children's boot print, said Mr. Oldrieve.
- 1:10:21It's just how can you ever possibly know whose it is and
- 1:10:24when it was put there? I have no idea.
- 1:10:27Miss Brooks Murray, 28, has been publicly silent.
- 1:10:30Let's, let's bring, let's bring her up here.
- 1:10:35She's been publicly silent for most, for the most part about
- 1:10:39the disappearance of Lily, who was six, and Jack, who was four
- 1:10:41at the time they went missing. Only now, after nearly a year,
- 1:10:45is she beginning to speak out, sharing new details in an
- 1:10:48interview with the Globe and Mail.
- 1:10:51She and her then live in boyfriend Daniel Martel told
- 1:10:53police that they were dozing in bed mid morning with their
- 1:10:56toddler on May 2nd when they awoke and realized Jack and Lily
- 1:11:00were gone. They said the children must have
- 1:11:02put on their boots, gone out the back sliding glory and wandered
- 1:11:05off into the woods. What happened to the two
- 1:11:08siblings has confounded police and struck A chord around the
- 1:11:11world. The widely publicized case has
- 1:11:13spurred a hotbed of conjecture and rumors and the online true
- 1:11:17crime community, much of it aimed at Miss Brooks Murray and
- 1:11:20Mr. Martel, who are no longer together. 1 Criticism levelled
- 1:11:24at Miss Brooks Murray is that she left Lansdowne the day after
- 1:11:27her children disappeared, taking the couple's toddler with her.
- 1:11:30Soon after, she blocked communication with Miss Martel.
- 1:11:33Yeah. In a recent interview, Miss
- 1:11:35Brooks Murray said she left because she felt overwhelmed and
- 1:11:38upset after hearing from police about the vast area that had
- 1:11:41been searched without any sign of Jack and Lily.
- 1:11:44Over the last year, she said she's been focused on
- 1:11:46cooperating with police, looking at after her mental health and
- 1:11:50caring for her toddler. A member of I'm not going to
- 1:11:55pronounce that First Nation, a Native nation.
- 1:12:00She now lives in an apartment in Millbrook, a MICMAC community
- 1:12:04near the town of Truro, with a cat and kitten.
- 1:12:08She said she recently went or underwent a second polygraph
- 1:12:12exam polygraph exam with RCMP and they told her that she was
- 1:12:17found to be truthful. So that is what's going on.
- 1:12:21There is a link if actually I think I ran out of time, but I
- 1:12:25will put a link to this in the description.
- 1:12:28This case written by Lawrence Silver out of out of where
- 1:12:34Vermont from courttv.com Woman accused of killing two young
- 1:12:39kids during custody dispute Oh, this kills me, this kills me.
- 1:12:44Dateline Bennington, Vt A woman is expected to be extradited to
- 1:12:48Massachusetts after she was arrested in Vermont on charges
- 1:12:52she killed her two young children.
- 1:12:55Jeanette McCausland, 49, is charged with two counts of
- 1:12:57murder in the deaths of her children, Ella, 6, and Kai,
- 1:13:02seven. Officers with the Bennington
- 1:13:05Police Department in Vermont were asked to conduct a welfare
- 1:13:08check on April 24th after Jeanette McCausland arrived at a
- 1:13:13family home appearing highly distraught, the department said
- 1:13:16in a news release. Jeanette had a visible neck
- 1:13:18injury with bleeding. When officers spoke to her, they
- 1:13:21became increasingly concerned about her children and reached
- 1:13:24out to officers with the Wellesley Police Department in
- 1:13:26Massachusetts. When officers went to the family
- 1:13:30home, they said they found her two children dead inside the
- 1:13:33home. Court TV reviewed A petition for
- 1:13:37divorce initially filed October 15th, 2025.
- 1:13:41So she's in the middle of a divorce, killed her two
- 1:13:43children, and I don't get that Mental health issue, I'm sure,
- 1:13:50but that just kills me. And then from Brian Enton, our
- 1:13:55esteemed colleague written in News Nation.
- 1:13:57Now Brian Koeberger book questions, knife sheath and
- 1:14:02other evidence details in a new book written by a retired FBI
- 1:14:06agent raise questions about evidence and potential chain of
- 1:14:09custody issues in the case against Brian Koeberger, who
- 1:14:13pleaded guilty to the 222022 killings of four University of
- 1:14:17Idaho students. In Broken plea, The Explosive
- 1:14:20Search for truth behind the Idaho murderers, author
- 1:14:23Christopher Whitcomb draws on investigative files, court
- 1:14:26records and Co burgers. Writing from jail, the book
- 1:14:29cites experts hired by the defense who believed the
- 1:14:32prosecution prosecution's case could have been vulnerable due
- 1:14:36to concerns over how likely or how key evidence was handled.
- 1:14:41Whitcomb told News Nation he came to the case after reviewing
- 1:14:43materials that raised questions about what initially appeared to
- 1:14:47be an open and shut investigation.
- 1:14:49And then it goes into, I mean, I think honestly, I we're glad
- 1:14:54that he pleaded because it's possible, at least according to
- 1:14:59Mr. Whitcomb, that he could have beat the rap.
- 1:15:05So we're probably glad that happened.
- 1:15:06You can read the rest of the article on newsnation.com.
