- 0:14Speaker 2: This podcast is about female empowerment.
- 0:16Speaker 3: And encouraging you to be your biggest, boldest, and most
- 0:19Speaker 3: authentic version of yourself.
- 0:21Speaker 2: We help you shed the shame grows a new level.
- 0:23Speaker 2: We're gonna laugh, cry, and talk about the topics everyone
- 0:26Speaker 2: else is too afraid to talk about.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Get ready for your next level of self.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Hello everybody, Welcome back to She Rises with Ashy and Tiana.
- 0:35Speaker 4: We have a episode today talking about something big that
- 0:37Speaker 4: we did, that we spent a lot of money on
- 0:39Speaker 4: that we are a little bit scared of. But before
- 0:40Speaker 4: we get into that, watch your show of the week.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I'll go first, Thank you, she's stuffed.
- 0:45Speaker 4: I'll go first. Mine's actually a new clean treat flavor.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Oh so if you like the chocolate Dubai pistachio and
- 0:52Speaker 4: Stashio chocolate.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Whatever it is, Yes, the green pistacio chocolate. I think
- 0:56Speaker 1: we all know and love.
- 0:57Speaker 4: It's been trending on socials and brought out a clean
- 0:59Speaker 4: treat version. It is next level good. It is so yummy,
- 1:05Speaker 4: but so much healthier. Where actually bought a block recently
- 1:09Speaker 4: and we looked at the back and like the ingredients, Shit, the.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Calorie is so high.
- 1:14Speaker 1: One little square was like I can't even remember it.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It was ridiculous. The whole bar was like fourteen hundred
- 1:19Speaker 3: calories and it wasn't wasn't big. It wasn't a normal
- 1:22Speaker 3: sized chocolate block either, it was smaller and were just like, wow,
- 1:25Speaker 3: this calorie dense.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it just didn't make me feel good. No, so sugary.
- 1:29Speaker 4: So this is a healthier version. It's a gluten free,
- 1:31Speaker 4: a dairy free, no artificial sweetness or preservatives. You literally
- 1:35Speaker 4: add rice, molt syrup, almond butter, and cocon oil, mixing
- 1:38Speaker 4: the balls and it's done.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And the kids love them.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Can attest to this. They are delicious, so good.
- 1:43Speaker 4: So we've recently launched Honeycomb the pistachio one cinnamon squirrel flavor,
- 1:47Speaker 4: and we've done over forty different flavors.
- 1:48Speaker 1: So if you're a gluten.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Free gurly or you're a dairy free girlye, you have
- 1:52Speaker 4: to try and clean treats. I will leave the link
- 1:53Speaker 4: in the description box.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Oh they're so young, so good. My recommendation is TV series.
- 1:59Speaker 3: I feel like I'm the last person to get on
- 2:01Speaker 3: this bandwagon, But I have gotten into Stranger Things. Yes,
- 2:04Speaker 3: I'm so upset. Like I remember first initially watching it
- 2:07Speaker 3: because somebody recommended it, but the first episode was like
- 2:10Speaker 3: so creepy and so like not gory, but just creepy,
- 2:15Speaker 3: so strange, And then I never got into it because
- 2:17Speaker 3: I try not to watch stuff that like scares me
- 2:19Speaker 3: or like activates my never system in a way that
- 2:21Speaker 3: I don't like. But I am like three season deep
- 2:23Speaker 3: now and there are like five. I think it is
- 2:26Speaker 3: just so good the storyline like and also creepily enough.
- 2:30Speaker 3: I have learned that the storyline is actually based off
- 2:32Speaker 3: real events in like the CIA and stuff. Anyway, rabbit hole,
- 2:35Speaker 3: but anyway, I highly recommend Stranger Things if you're into
- 2:37Speaker 3: something that's like long. It has a big long storyline
- 2:40Speaker 3: and you want to get really into the characters, but
- 2:42Speaker 3: it's also very strange. Highly recommend.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I didn't love it.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I wish I did, like maybe one and a half
- 2:48Speaker 4: series of ects like oh, must get better, must get better,
- 2:50Speaker 4: But I just didn't vibe it.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Oh I love it, Yeah, I just find it so interesting,
- 2:54Speaker 3: just the weird shit that happens. Yeah, but it reminds
- 2:58Speaker 3: me of like all the stuff that I look into
- 3:00Speaker 3: and watch when it comes to conspiracy theories in terms
- 3:03Speaker 3: of like the CIA and stuff that's like here and
- 3:05Speaker 3: behind closed doors that most people don't know about. So
- 3:07Speaker 3: to me, I find that super interesting. So I love
- 3:09Speaker 3: that stuff, but not on none of that show. You
- 3:11Speaker 3: love the kidnapping stuff, I love.
- 3:13Speaker 4: I love CIA stuff, and like the underworld and the
- 3:16Speaker 4: rabbit hole things and any conspiracy theories I love hearing about,
- 3:20Speaker 4: but I can't find that in the show.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Is it like the monster kind of things that don't like?
- 3:25Speaker 4: Yeah, as if that's happening, like stop it these kids
- 3:28Speaker 4: running around and all these monsters coming out, Like ah,
- 3:31Speaker 4: I like it. No, I just don't like it, but yeah,
- 3:33Speaker 4: a lot of people rave about it. That's why we
- 3:35Speaker 4: stuck with it, because it's like, Okay, it's got to
- 3:36Speaker 4: get better, got to get better.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, the monster would come out.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, yeah, you'd like what you like.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Even alien shows, Like I do believe in aliens, but
- 3:45Speaker 4: if it feels so far fetched that it's not believable,
- 3:48Speaker 4: I'd rather got something that I actually believe.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Yes, fair enough, I think for me, I like the
- 3:52Speaker 3: mystical side of things. Yeah, I've always really loved Harry
- 3:56Speaker 3: Potter and things like that, magic and stuff. So to me,
- 3:59Speaker 3: I'm like, I allow myself to get lost in like
- 4:01Speaker 3: the make believe of what's actually happening.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I love Harry Potter, but yeah, there you go.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Interesting anyway, that's my recommendation.
- 4:09Speaker 1: All right.
- 4:10Speaker 4: So today we're talking about a fifty thousand dollars decisions
- 4:14Speaker 4: slash investment that we made last week that scares the
- 4:17Speaker 4: shit out of us, also really excites us.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And it's a new business coach.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and this is something I have ever had a
- 4:24Speaker 4: business coach many Oh see, I've never had a business coach. Yeah,
- 4:27Speaker 4: I have winned it the whole time. I'm like full Bambie,
- 4:30Speaker 4: i don't know what fuck I'm doing. I've winged it,
- 4:32Speaker 4: made so many mistakes from winging it and also just
- 4:35Speaker 4: not being in certain roles because Steve's done certain roles
- 4:38Speaker 4: and I've done certain roles. So it is totally new
- 4:40Speaker 4: for me.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Not multiple business coaches, but one for a very long time.
- 4:43Speaker 3: Felicity was a business Yeah.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot about that.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh you're your ahead, she was initially, No, I'm not.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I'm with you.
- 4:51Speaker 3: I'm excited for this decision because I have worked with
- 4:54Speaker 3: business coaches before, and I have seen the benefit of
- 4:56Speaker 3: being surrounded by one, like you get involved with the
- 4:59Speaker 3: community of the women that they coach and stuff like that.
- 5:02Speaker 3: But then also like having somebody who is there at
- 5:04Speaker 3: every yeah, like handholding you fall and when you doubt yourself,
- 5:08Speaker 3: they're like, no, we're going to clock that real quick.
- 5:10Speaker 3: It's just it really does help elevate you much X. So,
- 5:13Speaker 3: like I'm really excited for that time.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Yeah, we just got to a certain point where we're
- 5:17Speaker 4: just like, Okay, we know we want to scale, we
- 5:19Speaker 4: know we want to go, we know we need to implement.
- 5:22Speaker 1: X, y Z, but we don't know how.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:24Speaker 4: And there's also certain things that we not don't want
- 5:27Speaker 4: to do, but kind of we have a personal assistant
- 5:29Speaker 4: and that's what we brought her on for is there's
- 5:31Speaker 4: like parts of the business that we know how to do,
- 5:33Speaker 4: but we don't really love doing it. Yeah, And it's
- 5:35Speaker 4: things that someone we can outsource so that we can
- 5:37Speaker 4: stay focused on our strengths and the things that we
- 5:39Speaker 4: love doing that bring us joy, because that impacts our community.
- 5:42Speaker 4: If we can spend more time with our community, that's
- 5:44Speaker 4: what we want to do. Yeah, so yeah, what we're
- 5:46Speaker 4: gonna be learning with her is things that we don't
- 5:47Speaker 4: really know what to do, but we know we have
- 5:49Speaker 4: to understand it, learn it, and implement it take us
- 5:51Speaker 4: to the next level and to.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Where we want to go. And this was something we
- 5:54Speaker 3: commit to last year in twenty twenty five where we
- 5:56Speaker 3: knew that twenty twenty six is going to be a
- 5:58Speaker 3: big year for us in terms of what we wanted
- 6:00Speaker 3: to implement, the things that we're going to be unfolding,
- 6:02Speaker 3: you know, where we see she rises going in general.
- 6:05Speaker 3: And so it was kind of that moment we knew
- 6:06Speaker 3: and actually brought it to me and we were like
- 6:08Speaker 3: considering doing it. When we thought about making the decision,
- 6:11Speaker 3: we were like, this makes sense, Like this is the
- 6:13Speaker 3: next steps that make the most sense to get to
- 6:16Speaker 3: the goal that we want. And I thought that was
- 6:18Speaker 3: really cool because in that like I was in Bali
- 6:20Speaker 3: at the time when we were having this conversation and
- 6:23Speaker 3: we were both like, oh my god, I'm scared, and like,
- 6:25Speaker 3: oh my god, this feels scary and stretchy and like
- 6:28Speaker 3: a big decision, Like it's a huge financial decision for
- 6:31Speaker 3: you know, a business that's only been in business for
- 6:33Speaker 3: a year to make and so yeah, it was just
- 6:36Speaker 3: one of those moments where it felt super aligned but
- 6:39Speaker 3: also aligned. Decisions can also come with a lot of fear, yes,
- 6:42Speaker 3: and like Ash and I both noticed like those fears
- 6:45Speaker 3: and those old stories coming up, and it was just
- 6:47Speaker 3: cool to navigate all of the things that come with that.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I've had a lot of self development coaches and personal coaches,
- 6:54Speaker 4: and I've never hesitated in investing into that, and I
- 6:57Speaker 4: see the value in it so much. So this was
- 6:59Speaker 4: just like, we know we need to invest in ourselves,
- 7:02Speaker 4: we need to back our brand, back our mission, but
- 7:05Speaker 4: but also realists and knowing that we don't exactly know.
- 7:07Speaker 1: The steps to get there, Yeah, and the systems to
- 7:09Speaker 1: put in.
- 7:09Speaker 4: And this person that we've hired is she almost calls
- 7:13Speaker 4: herself like the masculine role in a lot of people's
- 7:15Speaker 4: business because she works with a lot of female founders
- 7:17Speaker 4: who are the creatives, the front and the visionaries. The
- 7:19Speaker 4: feel is and she's like, I've got the structure that
- 7:22Speaker 4: works really well with what you do well, but you
- 7:23Speaker 4: need both to be able to scale to the next level.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It makes sense, and that's.
- 7:27Speaker 3: So exciting for us. Too, because like we have systems
- 7:30Speaker 3: that work for what we're doing right now kind of yes,
- 7:32Speaker 3: but not really no, not in the way that we
- 7:35Speaker 3: need it to work for us to scale and also
- 7:38Speaker 3: for us to do something that is new that is
- 7:40Speaker 3: not our zone of genius. Like we're like, we need
- 7:43Speaker 3: outsource that, you know, like, oh my gosh, she knows
- 7:45Speaker 3: she has the exact thing that we need to be
- 7:47Speaker 3: able to make this work. And yeah, outsourcing that has
- 7:50Speaker 3: felt really good because I can just see the way
- 7:52Speaker 3: that she also leads herself. Yeah, and I'm also super
- 7:55Speaker 3: excited for that.
- 7:56Speaker 4: We know a couple of other women that have worked
- 7:58Speaker 4: with her and only had such great things to say
- 8:00Speaker 4: about her, So we're really excited. We start this Thursday,
- 8:03Speaker 4: which is like a half day version where she's going
- 8:05Speaker 4: to unpack all of our business. And we feeled out
- 8:07Speaker 4: this massive questionnaire and it had like lots of details
- 8:10Speaker 4: about we're out, what we're doing, what's struggling with. So
- 8:12Speaker 4: she'll be unpacking everything and taking us through a process
- 8:15Speaker 4: and putting a plan in place that we have to
- 8:18Speaker 4: get in and attack and learn. But yeah, we've got
- 8:20Speaker 4: There was a group option and then there was a
- 8:21Speaker 4: one on one and I was really torn with what
- 8:24Speaker 4: to do. We were a vways messages back and forth,
- 8:26Speaker 4: and I said, financially, it feels safer and easier to
- 8:29Speaker 4: go with the group option because it's double to go
- 8:31Speaker 4: private more it's more than double to go private per month.
- 8:34Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, it might stretch us doing
- 8:36Speaker 4: the private, but then you were like, oh, but it
- 8:38Speaker 4: condenses the time from twelve months to six months, and
- 8:41Speaker 4: we literally have someone holding our hand the whole time.
- 8:43Speaker 4: And I just know, I think because you had a
- 8:46Speaker 4: lot of confidence in that and made the decision easy,
- 8:48Speaker 4: I kind of let you lead on that because I
- 8:50Speaker 4: think I would have gone safety. But I'm glad we've
- 8:51Speaker 4: gone the one on one because it's just solely focused
- 8:54Speaker 4: on us. She's plugged in Monday to Friday. She's constantly
- 8:57Speaker 4: with us any questions we have, Like, I'm just not
- 8:59Speaker 4: going to be afraid to go and ask her to
- 9:01Speaker 4: make sure that we understand everything.
- 9:03Speaker 3: And it's the conversation we had to it was like,
- 9:05Speaker 3: we don't feel like we need the community aspect. No.
- 9:07Speaker 3: A lot of women come into this when they're feeling
- 9:09Speaker 3: super lonely in business and they want to be surrounded
- 9:11Speaker 3: by a lot of women who are doing the same things, Whereas, like,
- 9:13Speaker 3: for what we're currently needing right now, we needed that
- 9:15Speaker 3: more one on one type point and that one on
- 9:17Speaker 3: one support. So I was like, oh, yes, I know
- 9:20Speaker 3: we could save more money by doing this, but is
- 9:22Speaker 3: that actually going to be what we need to get
- 9:24Speaker 3: to there? And if we could condense the time by
- 9:26Speaker 3: six months, like why would we not?
- 9:28Speaker 4: And yeah, we've been talking about how yes it's a
- 9:30Speaker 4: big investment in each month, it feels a bit stretchy
- 9:33Speaker 4: and scary for us, but we're getting her to be
- 9:35Speaker 4: able to scale, earn more money, create more freedom, learn more. Naturally,
- 9:39Speaker 4: there's more money going to be coming in, so we
- 9:41Speaker 4: have to back ourselves and just know that you've got
- 9:43Speaker 4: to spend money to make money.
- 9:44Speaker 1: And it's not just in.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Business, like this is an investment, Like every time I
- 9:48Speaker 4: invest in a coach, I know, I'm like, Okay, if
- 9:50Speaker 4: I can unpack or heal a wound or something that
- 9:53Speaker 4: helps me show up better, I'm only going to spread
- 9:56Speaker 4: my wings even further and be able to make more
- 9:58Speaker 4: money and make bigger impact because I'm healing another part
- 10:00Speaker 4: of me that can then help other women. So you know,
- 10:03Speaker 4: it's not just you doing the work. You know it's
- 10:05Speaker 4: going to impact your future in such a positive way
- 10:08Speaker 4: and get you where you want to go in more
- 10:09Speaker 4: of the things that you want to do. Yeah, but
- 10:11Speaker 4: you've got to take that risk first. You really do
- 10:13Speaker 4: bite the bullet and like spend the money.
- 10:14Speaker 3: It's almost like trusting yourself before you feel like you
- 10:17Speaker 3: can trust yourself, you know, in a new way, in
- 10:19Speaker 3: a new way. I remember when I first started in
- 10:21Speaker 3: investing in myself, I was like, no, yeah, I don't
- 10:25Speaker 3: want to do that because you're not investing into a
- 10:27Speaker 3: house or a stock market, products products. You're investing in yourself.
- 10:31Speaker 3: And that because we're not taught to do that in society.
- 10:34Speaker 3: We're not taught like you or your greatest investment, depending
- 10:37Speaker 3: on what environment you're around. But most of the time,
- 10:39Speaker 3: it's invest in assets, things that appreciate over time, things
- 10:42Speaker 3: that you can invest into that's outside of you. But
- 10:45Speaker 3: whenever taught to invest in us as an asset. And
- 10:48Speaker 3: so I think, like when I first started investing in myself,
- 10:51Speaker 3: the more investments you make, the more your self trust increases.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Because you, like what you just said, before you become
- 10:57Speaker 3: somebody who is more resourceful than what you were before
- 11:01Speaker 3: because you grow, you overcome challenges, you face your obstacle,
- 11:05Speaker 3: you face your fears. Then you have somebody there before
- 11:08Speaker 3: you who's done what you want to do, but can
- 11:11Speaker 3: literally half the time how long it takes you to
- 11:13Speaker 3: get there. And so as you go on this journey
- 11:16Speaker 3: and you invest in yourself, you learn just by making
- 11:19Speaker 3: that decision alone, I am choosing to trust myself. I'm
- 11:22Speaker 3: choosing to back myself. And then that's like fifty percent
- 11:25Speaker 3: of the like everything you do after that is a bonus,
- 11:27Speaker 3: and you become someone more more grounded, more regulated, who
- 11:30Speaker 3: makes bigger decisions, who takes bolder action's bigger results, expand
- 11:35Speaker 3: as a person, And like, I don't know about you, babe,
- 11:37Speaker 3: but this is definitely like the largest financial investment I've
- 11:41Speaker 3: made to date. Obviously it's a collaborative investment, but like
- 11:44Speaker 3: it's the biggest number so far, And I'm like, that
- 11:46Speaker 3: felt like a stretch. It was like a stretch where
- 11:50Speaker 3: it felt like the right next steps, but it also
- 11:53Speaker 3: to some degree dysregulated me a bit, where I was like,
- 11:55Speaker 3: oh shit, like this is taking this almost double than
- 11:58Speaker 3: what I've invested on my own in one singular container
- 12:02Speaker 3: and I'm like, oh, okay, cool, this is like, this
- 12:04Speaker 3: is me stretching that capacity for trusting myself more for
- 12:08Speaker 3: trusting us, trusting the mission expanding. She rises and like
- 12:12Speaker 3: really going all in on, Like what she rises is
- 12:16Speaker 3: the movement?
- 12:17Speaker 4: Yes, so freaking cool, so freaking cool. I remember when
- 12:20Speaker 4: I first I didn't actually Stee paid for it. When
- 12:22Speaker 4: we first got together, he booked us in for Anthony Robbins.
- 12:25Speaker 4: It was like ten grand a ticket.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I remember being like, oh my gosh, ten grand like
- 12:29Speaker 1: such a waste of money.
- 12:31Speaker 4: I was super closed mind and he was like, oh,
- 12:33Speaker 4: but you'll easily spend ten grand on your boobs eating.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I was like, they're call, oh, they're call.
- 12:38Speaker 4: He's actually, you're value having a bigger chess, but you
- 12:40Speaker 4: don't value investing into yourself.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I was like, okay, have a ticket.
- 12:44Speaker 4: I don't have anything to say. And he's like, and
- 12:47Speaker 4: you're not investing. I'm paying for your ticket because I
- 12:49Speaker 4: love you.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, But it's just like.
- 12:52Speaker 4: But it's like when people say I can't afford to
- 12:54Speaker 4: eat healthy, Okay, are you getting a coffee every day?
- 12:57Speaker 4: Are you buying twenty or cocktails on the weekend. Did
- 12:59Speaker 4: you buy a designer bag last year? What you're spending
- 13:02Speaker 4: your money on is showing you what you value. Absolutely,
- 13:05Speaker 4: it's always ways that you can cut back and save
- 13:07Speaker 4: more and invest more. It's just you've got to be
- 13:08Speaker 4: really honest with yourself and where your money is going
- 13:10Speaker 4: and what you're going to prioritize.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Absolutely, Like pull up your bank statements from the last month,
- 13:14Speaker 3: but let me see how much money you spent on
- 13:15Speaker 3: your breath.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Oh my my goodness, it's all guilty for sure.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Right yeah, same here. Yeah, But it is just one
- 13:21Speaker 3: of those things. It's like a lot of the times
- 13:23Speaker 3: we have stories of like can I do this? Is
- 13:26Speaker 3: this going to work? Do I have the money to
- 13:28Speaker 3: invest right now? Is this the right financial decision? Whilst
- 13:31Speaker 3: all of those questions have valid things to say and explore,
- 13:35Speaker 3: it's like, what is it that you want moving forward?
- 13:37Speaker 1: What do you get out of it?
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 4: It's like for even people that complain about personal trainings
- 13:40Speaker 4: being a lot of money, like oh I needed a
- 13:41Speaker 4: lot of the session, one hundred of the session just
- 13:43Speaker 4: to tell you what to work out. I'm like, it's
- 13:45Speaker 4: not just what they're telling you to work out and
- 13:47Speaker 4: how to do a squat, the body confidence, the mental confidence,
- 13:51Speaker 4: how strong you feel to be out if you can
- 13:52Speaker 4: get through a tough weight session. For me, that translates
- 13:55Speaker 4: into my real life. I'm like, if I can do
- 13:57Speaker 4: something physically hard, I can do something emotionally hard as well.
- 13:59Speaker 4: Like it impacts my life in so many positive ways.
- 14:02Speaker 4: When I train in the morning with George, I go
- 14:04Speaker 4: home and I'm in such a goodbybe for my children.
- 14:06Speaker 4: It's not just about doing the squads. It's like mentally
- 14:09Speaker 4: and physically and emotionally what that hour for me does,
- 14:12Speaker 4: and having him guide me, believe in me, pushing me
- 14:15Speaker 4: that I can't even put a dollar value on. I
- 14:16Speaker 4: would pay that double to have that session.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Isn't it crazy? It's like it's perceived as a lot. Yeah,
- 14:22Speaker 3: But then when it comes to how much people spend
- 14:24Speaker 3: on the weekend going and drinking, like people like a
- 14:27Speaker 3: dinner alone is probably like maybe what two hundred dollars
- 14:30Speaker 3: without alcohol, without alcohol a decent restaurant, and most people drink.
- 14:35Speaker 3: So the reality is your bill is likely going to
- 14:37Speaker 3: be anywhere from like four to six hundred dollars because
- 14:40Speaker 3: you've gone out, you've drank, you beating food, do all
- 14:42Speaker 3: these things.
- 14:42Speaker 1: There's a coaching session here you go.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just so interesting. Is it's such a cool
- 14:47Speaker 3: conversation because I think everyone sometimes I mean everyone to
- 14:51Speaker 3: some degree, is like, how do I enjoy my life
- 14:53Speaker 3: right now? And I think that's a really beautiful thing
- 14:55Speaker 3: to do, because it's like, it's about the journey, not
- 14:57Speaker 3: the destination. But I truly believe that, like life, wherever
- 15:00Speaker 3: it is that we want to go requires some level
- 15:02Speaker 3: of sacrifice. I was gonna say not sacrifice, but it is.
- 15:05Speaker 3: It's like some level of sacrifice sacrificing potentially not going
- 15:09Speaker 3: for dinners and overly spending right now, but all that
- 15:12Speaker 3: money gets directed into potentially a coach, potentially a retreat,
- 15:15Speaker 3: doing something that working with a life coach or a
- 15:18Speaker 3: trauma coach or something like that that's only going to
- 15:20Speaker 3: improve your life tenfold, So that you don't lead towards
- 15:24Speaker 3: those things to kind of get relief from your life
- 15:26Speaker 3: because exactly you're actually living a life that you are
- 15:28Speaker 3: proud of building, and that to me is invaluable, which
- 15:31Speaker 3: is why I like live and breathe like coaching, not
- 15:33Speaker 3: only because I am one myself, but because of what
- 15:36Speaker 3: this work has done for me. Like, I literally owe
- 15:39Speaker 3: my life to the life coaches that I've worked with
- 15:41Speaker 3: because they have transformed the person that I am and
- 15:45Speaker 3: I will just forever be an advocate of Like, So
- 15:48Speaker 3: the number doesn't matter in terms of monetary value in
- 15:52Speaker 3: comparison to who I was ten years ago to who
- 15:55Speaker 3: I am now, oh gosh, because that is something that
- 15:57Speaker 3: is invaluable.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I agree, I definitely owe my life to life coaches
- 16:02Speaker 4: as well, every single one that's helped me in a
- 16:04Speaker 4: different way, but they all have helped me in some way.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Yeah, things for different problems, and I would.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Pay like triple the amount to have learned those lessons
- 16:12Speaker 4: that I learned from them, you know, it's so cool.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:16Speaker 4: In business too, I think it can be really hard
- 16:18Speaker 4: to delegate. I know when Stephen I first started, we
- 16:22Speaker 4: had to do everything because we didn't have any staff.
- 16:23Speaker 4: We didn't have any money to pay staff, so we
- 16:25Speaker 4: had to learn how to do everything. But I think
- 16:27Speaker 4: it is a skill set to be able to delegate
- 16:30Speaker 4: to the right people and keep you in your strengths
- 16:33Speaker 4: and your passions. And as a business owner, you have
- 16:36Speaker 4: to be able to pull yourself out and look at
- 16:37Speaker 4: your business from a bird's eye perspective to be able
- 16:40Speaker 4: to grow it rather than just being in it all
- 16:42Speaker 4: the time. And that's why we've got Ash our pa
- 16:45Speaker 4: as well, so she's going to be coming along to
- 16:47Speaker 4: this half day immersion so she can hear all the
- 16:48Speaker 4: plans and then together as a team of three, we
- 16:51Speaker 4: can figure out who's doing what parts, who enjoys what parts.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Because I'm sure there'll.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Be some things where I'm like, oh, that sounds like torture,
- 16:58Speaker 4: and there's other things where I'm like, oh my god,
- 16:59Speaker 4: I'm really good at that. I'll take on that role,
- 17:01Speaker 4: and together we can try and make sure everyone's enjoying
- 17:03Speaker 4: their roles. But to collect, we're ticking off the boxes
- 17:06Speaker 4: to get the task done.
- 17:08Speaker 3: I'm excited. It's been really good to have Ash and
- 17:10Speaker 3: to lean on her as well, and it's been great
- 17:12Speaker 3: like as we've grown, they've become more and more tasks
- 17:14Speaker 3: that we need to do. And now because we're learning
- 17:16Speaker 3: something new as well, like for us to all learn
- 17:19Speaker 3: have our roles, I think is going to be powerful
- 17:20Speaker 3: for us to be able to maneuver as a team.
- 17:22Speaker 4: And our goal is to be able to do She
- 17:24Speaker 4: rises full time so for anyone listening. We run this podcast.
- 17:26Speaker 4: We upload three days a week. Channa has a full
- 17:28Speaker 4: time coaching business where she takes on multiple clients and
- 17:31Speaker 4: does her sessions and you're in Fox all the time
- 17:33Speaker 4: and emails and client forms and all the different things.
- 17:36Speaker 4: And then I've got highaway influencing work and what we
- 17:40Speaker 4: do with our online platform Rise and Side. So we
- 17:42Speaker 4: have a lot going on and we'd really love to
- 17:44Speaker 4: be laser focused and just all thinks she rises and.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Rises in Side.
- 17:47Speaker 4: But to be able to get to that point, we
- 17:49Speaker 4: obviously have to scale our business and be able to
- 17:51Speaker 4: fund all of that fast step away from other things
- 17:54Speaker 4: that we're doing, and that takes time.
- 17:56Speaker 3: It does.
- 17:56Speaker 4: It takes learning and growing, getting uncomfortable and working towards it.
- 18:00Speaker 4: And this is a necessary step we think we needed
- 18:02Speaker 4: to take.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, and that's why when it came to
- 18:04Speaker 3: making this decision, it felt like the next best thing,
- 18:06Speaker 3: the next best step for us, because like what we said,
- 18:09Speaker 3: like we want to go full time in this, and
- 18:11Speaker 3: so in order to make that happen, we do have
- 18:14Speaker 3: to prioritize this and prioritize growing, and honestly, like even
- 18:18Speaker 3: in saying that we do prioritize this given we have
- 18:21Speaker 3: everything and actually is a parent too, a partner, Like
- 18:25Speaker 3: there's so many hats that like we both wear outside
- 18:27Speaker 3: of this, but it's like to have this be the
- 18:30Speaker 3: thing that we get to focus on the most, Like
- 18:33Speaker 3: I only imagine, like how much more plugged in we
- 18:35Speaker 3: would be, Like how much more we could pull back
- 18:37Speaker 3: into the community.
- 18:38Speaker 1: And truth we could run.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Oh my god, Now when we had that time and
- 18:41Speaker 3: space capacity, it would just it would flourish.
- 18:44Speaker 4: I believe we only work together on a Tuesday Wednesday
- 18:47Speaker 4: to get everything done and well obviously when we're not together,
- 18:49Speaker 4: we're both still ticking away to do list, but to
- 18:51Speaker 4: actually have more days being able to be plugged.
- 18:53Speaker 1: In all week, that was imagine. That was one of
- 18:56Speaker 1: the goals and the questionnaire. It's like, what's the goal.
- 18:58Speaker 4: We want to be full time in this and be
- 18:59Speaker 4: able to work on this like five days a week
- 19:01Speaker 4: on day a Friday, Like this is what we do
- 19:03Speaker 4: our sole focus.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Yeah, social media Rise inside the podcast, the episodes, the guests,
- 19:08Speaker 3: like all of it, Like, oh, the what we envision
- 19:10Speaker 3: for she Rises as a community is something incredible. So
- 19:14Speaker 3: it really is that's the goal. That we're working towards
- 19:16Speaker 3: very cool.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Speaking of retreats, we have our Byron Bay Retreat.
- 19:19Speaker 3: We fu so exciting. This is our first retreat together. Yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 3: it's going to be so incredible. The women are so excited.
- 19:27Speaker 3: The location is next level. The speakers and facilitators are
- 19:31Speaker 3: actually out of this world. Yeah, we have it.
- 19:33Speaker 4: I don't know if we' spoken about the podcast who
- 19:34Speaker 4: we've got coming on So obviously Channa and I are ps.
- 19:37Speaker 4: This is all sold out. The sleepover passes are completely gone. Yeah,
- 19:40Speaker 4: we do have four day passes available, so we'll explain
- 19:42Speaker 4: what that means. The fourth speakers we have, so we
- 19:44Speaker 4: have Channa and I obviously, but then we have our
- 19:46Speaker 4: Natchural path Tash, who's come on the podcast before. She's
- 19:49Speaker 4: been teaching all about women's hormones, women's health, sleep cycles,
- 19:52Speaker 4: your mental cycle, which is going to be incredible because
- 19:55Speaker 4: that she's not taught in school, no needs to be.
- 19:57Speaker 4: We have Megsi who's taking you through a juicy, delicious
- 20:01Speaker 4: sensual workshop to help you tap more into your body,
- 20:03Speaker 4: more into your feminine ess, more into your sexuality and
- 20:07Speaker 4: your pleasure. She is so beautiful, She's going to be
- 20:09Speaker 4: amazing with Levi taking everyone through a breath work.
- 20:12Speaker 1: He is incredible at taking people through a.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Breathwork completely life transforming, Like can attest to that, Oh
- 20:17Speaker 4: my gosh, amazing. And then Lewis, you guys know and love.
- 20:19Speaker 4: He's been on our podcast twice. Transformation Coach works a
- 20:23Speaker 4: lot with in a Child, masculine feminine Traumama, Purpose relationships, yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 4: purpose passion.
- 20:28Speaker 3: He like kind of does the filman he does. He's
- 20:30Speaker 3: kind of a jack of all trades.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm coming for a couple of hours with you girls,
- 20:33Speaker 4: which is going to be insane.
- 20:35Speaker 3: It's amazing. So essentially what a day pass is is
- 20:38Speaker 3: it's a three day pass to all of the activities.
- 20:41Speaker 3: So it'll probably be around from like eight to nine
- 20:43Speaker 3: am to three pm and then you will be sent
- 20:45Speaker 3: off the premises and all of the girls who are
- 20:47Speaker 3: there to stay overnight will stay. But what that affords
- 20:50Speaker 3: you is like it allows you to stay through all
- 20:52Speaker 3: of the facilitators, So everyone we just mentioned, you'll be
- 20:54Speaker 3: able to come and part take in their workshops in
- 20:57Speaker 3: the breath work, in the classes and everything that they
- 21:00Speaker 3: have to offer, and then as well as us facilitating
- 21:02Speaker 3: our workshops as well. So there is an abundance of
- 21:05Speaker 3: things that you're going to be able to like work through.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Lunch is also included as well, so we will feed you,
- 21:09Speaker 3: take care of you, or you're going to do a
- 21:11Speaker 3: show up on the day. But this is very well
- 21:13Speaker 3: constructed so that like from start to finish, we're going
- 21:16Speaker 3: to take you on a journey. And that's the point
- 21:18Speaker 3: of this retreat is like, if you're anything like what
- 21:21Speaker 3: we think that you are, like you are so willing
- 21:23Speaker 3: to like run towards growth because you aren't afraid of
- 21:26Speaker 3: what you may find. And even if there's a part
- 21:28Speaker 3: of you, yeah, you're excited, even if there's part of
- 21:31Speaker 3: this a little bit fearful like oh shit, what am
- 21:32Speaker 3: I going to see? It's about who you will become
- 21:35Speaker 3: on the other side of that, and we wanted to
- 21:36Speaker 3: create the space for you to actually be surrounded by
- 21:39Speaker 3: women who are doing the same things as you, who
- 21:42Speaker 3: want the same things as you, who are inquiring about
- 21:44Speaker 3: the same questions and parts of yourself that you're going
- 21:48Speaker 3: to uncover in this retreat, which is going to be amazing.
- 21:51Speaker 3: So this is for the absolute growth seekers, which is
- 21:54Speaker 3: our Byron Luxury Retreat, and it'll be held in the
- 21:57Speaker 3: middle of April.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yes, it's really good.
- 21:59Speaker 4: These day passes too, for anyone that lives local, or
- 22:02Speaker 4: you're a mum and you want to go home to
- 22:03Speaker 4: your kids, maybe you're breastfeeding, or if you want a
- 22:05Speaker 4: little stakecane fire. And there's plenty of airbnbs around as well,
- 22:08Speaker 4: so there's only four of those day passes.
- 22:10Speaker 1: And then the whole retreat is sold out, thank goodness,
- 22:12Speaker 1: so very very cool. And then we go off to
- 22:14Speaker 1: Bali in May, which also is sold out.
- 22:16Speaker 3: May is sold out. At September is also sold out.
- 22:19Speaker 1: We're going to hopefully release tickets for twenty twenty seven.
- 22:22Speaker 2: For Bali in May sometime this year. Yeah, while we're
- 22:25Speaker 2: over there, hopefully. So oh my gosh, so exciting, exciting.
- 22:28Speaker 2: So if you want to come along for a day pass,
- 22:30Speaker 2: just send us a DM on Instagram. Just pop day
- 22:32Speaker 2: pass in a DM and we'll chat with you and
- 22:34Speaker 2: answer all your questions. I'd just love to see you there.
- 22:36Speaker 3: All right, Well, we'll see you on the next one.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Bye bye.
