- 0:00Like, once that word pussy came to me, it it it was like it took this work that I was already
- 0:06doing that felt like this very, like, beautiful, like, divine feminine work, like,
- 0:11reclaiming all this stuff.
- 0:12And then the word pussy, like, ground all that power and reclamation, like, into my body.
- 0:18Jenny Braxton is a somatic sexuality and relationship intimacy coach, founder of the
- 0:23School of Pussy Centered Living, and the host of the Pussy Centered Living podcast.

- 0:33pleasure, power, and deep feminine wisdom by reconnecting their bodies and erotic nature.
- 0:39Her journey began after motherhood when painful sex and low desire led her to rediscover push
- 0:45pussy not just as anatomy but as a source of healing, power and truth.
- 0:51Now, through a trauma informed and tantra based methodology, Jenny guides women and couples to
- 0:57awaken their pleasure, reclaim their sexuality, and create the intimate passionate
- 1:02relationships they crave.
- 1:04Like the word pussy is just like, it's powerful and it's seductive and it's just like that this
- 1:10is the word.
- 1:11Living pussy centered is like living in tune with the deepest part of yourself and also with
- 1:18pleasure as like our North Star.
- 1:20Pleasure is the embodiment of pussy.
- 1:22It's actually one of the most like nourishing, sustainable, like, powerful ways to just be who
- 1:30we are and to do what we do in the world.
- 1:35A 2023 Harvard study found that out of everything it looked for as far as the root
- 1:40causes to help people have longer, healthier lives, the number one thing the study found
- 1:48that people should focus on is their relationships.

- 1:58created this upcoming three day eternal honeymoon extravaganza.
- 2:04I am bringing together 15 speakers from around the world in the love, sex, intimacy, and

- 2:33Hey, everybody.
- 2:34Welcome to another episode on the Libido Lounge.
- 2:38I'm your host, board certified sexologist, doctor Diane, and we have an amazing guest
- 2:44today.
- 2:44We're gonna dispel some myths, we're gonna really break down something that a lot of
- 2:50people are kinda scared of, which is the word pussy.
- 2:55So we're gonna break this down today and we're gonna talk about why this word is not what we
- 3:01say it is, meaning why this doesn't mean, hey, you're weak, or all these other different,
- 3:05like, ways that that this word is framed.
- 3:08And we're really going to start to hopefully change your your mind and your so the way you
- 3:14look at this word to actually realize that there's a there's a huge problem in many ways
- 3:20with the word way we're using our terms of feminine anatomy.
- 3:24Vagina, for example, doesn't really cover everything that the female has.
- 3:29Right?
- 3:30It's just one part of her genitalia.
- 3:32And so when we use a word like pussy, it encompasses so much more and we're really
- 3:37looking to reclaim this word, we're really looking to allow ourselves to sink deeper into
- 3:43the beauty of this word, and we're really looking to form as women new relationships with
- 3:51this part of our body that oftentimes we have so much disconnect in.
- 3:55So all of that and more with our guest, Jenny, today.
- 3:59And remember, we're doing this in two parts like always.
- 4:02So if you want that exclusive content, make sure you go into the show notes, go to our
- 4:06libido club where you can sign up to get the exclusive conversation part two.
- 4:11But for now, welcome to the lounge, Jenny.
- 4:13It's so great to have you.
- 4:15Aw.
- 4:15Thank you so much for having me.
- 4:17I am full of pleasure to be here.
- 4:20Ditto.
- 4:20Same here.
- 4:21And let's jump right in.
- 4:23You know, I think, you know, some people that have listened to this may know Mama Gina's work
- 4:28and her book on pussy at reclamation, but I think for a lot of people, this whole concept
- 4:33of like, oh my goodness, what are we saying?
- 4:35What are we saying online?
- 4:36What are we saying on this podcast?
- 4:37Turn it down.
- 4:39It's like, it can be a big deal to hear the word pussy out loud.
- 4:43So tell us about your, you know, your relationship with how did you begin this work?
- 4:49How did you actually start to reframe this word?
- 4:51And and why do you think this is so important for both women as for as well as for couples?
- 4:56Yeah.
- 4:57Absolutely.
- 4:58Well, I think the best way to answer the question particularly of, like, why do I use
- 5:01this word?
- 5:02Why do I think it's so important?
- 5:03Is to tell a little bit, yeah, of my own journey, which is that I, I got called into
- 5:09bringing into this work.
- 5:11I wasn't a sex and relationship intimacy coach when I began.
- 5:15I actually started as a empowered birth coach, supporting women and having empowered birth.
- 5:20Not like a doula, but like doing the, you know, psychological, emotional healing to prepare for
- 5:24it.
- 5:25And that kind of, like, started me off into the world of pleasure because I started to bring
- 5:30pleasure into my work as a way of supporting women and birth.
- 5:34And so, yeah, I mean, we could we could use the whole segment just to talk about the story of,
- 5:39like, how I got here, so I'm giving you the real short version.
- 5:43But it was actually a program that I was in to be an ecstatic birth practitioner, so really
- 5:49helping women have birth where pleasure is at the forefront.
- 5:54And it was in that program where I was actually introduced to Mama Gina, and to her book,
- 6:00Pussy, A Reclamation.
- 6:01And so before that point, I mean, obviously, I was already in my own journey.
- 6:05I had been doing my own kind of like sexual healing work, and I was really reclaiming
- 6:11pleasure or something for myself through the way I was learning to bring that into birth.
- 6:15And I had done a lot of healing around kind of my my pelvic bowl, and my feminine nature and
- 6:20being and like all of this stuff.
- 6:22But then when I heard Mama Gina speak and I read her book, I was just like I was like, it's
- 6:27pussy.
- 6:28Like, like pussy.
- 6:30And so when people ask me like, why do you use that word?
- 6:34The the most truest answer I can give you is, like, that's what she wants to be called.
- 6:38Like, once that word pussy came to me, it it it was like it took this work that I was already
- 6:44doing that felt like this very, like, beautiful, like, divine feminine work, like,
- 6:49claiming all this stuff, and then the word pussy, like, ground all that power and
- 6:53reclamation, like, into my body.
- 6:56So that it wasn't only just the, like, beautiful side of the feminine, it also
- 7:00encompasses the fullness of the feminine.
- 7:02Right?
- 7:02Like, the grit and the raw and like the full spectrum, and it just I I felt differently in
- 7:10my body.
- 7:11I just honestly, it just turned me on, and so it was it was like, once pussy came in, there
- 7:16was no going back.
- 7:17And so it took me down the road of, you know, shifting my practice from focusing on birth to
- 7:22focusing on sexuality in general, and really in reclaiming this word because as you said, not
- 7:28only do we not have great references for our anatomy, like, yeah, vagina is incomplete, you
- 7:34know, people aren't generally saying vulva, and to be honest, those words, I can honor them and
- 7:39respect them, but they don't actually turn me on.
- 7:41Like, the word pussy is just like, it's powerful and it's seductive, and it's just like
- 7:47that this is the word.
- 7:49Yeah.
- 7:49I love it.
- 7:50And we're gonna link everybody.
- 7:52We're gonna link Mama Gina's book in the show notes for you so you guys can check that out if
- 7:55you haven't.
- 7:56One of my favorite, like, parts of that book, I've read it a few times because it's just it's
- 8:00just genius, I think.
- 8:02One of my favorite parts is when she talks about GPS and like the GPS, she it's an acronym
- 8:07she renames for Great Pussy in the Sky.
- 8:09Right?
- 8:10And it's like, it's really like exactly what you're saying.
- 8:12It's so much more than just this this part of our body.
- 8:16It's like the orientation to our intuition, to our knowing, to this is right way, this is
- 8:22wrong way, like our our guide, our compass, all of these things.
- 8:25Yeah.
- 8:26So I'm curious because I think to me, some of the negative connotation with this word is in
- 8:34some ways, like, linked to I think societal and cultural negative connotations just to, like,
- 8:40female sexuality.
- 8:41Yeah.
- 8:42Right?
- 8:42So how do you, in your work, does it, like, come up sometimes where you use this word and
- 8:48is, like and you have people react in some sort of way?
- 8:52Does that tell you something about, hey, how you can guide them to heal, to open up and
- 8:58expand more to pleasure?
- 9:00Like, where do you actually use or do you use this word for informing you in your work?
- 9:05Yeah.
- 9:06I I love that question.
- 9:07That's a great question.
- 9:08So really the thing that's coming up for me is, like, I'm not here to convince anyone of the
- 9:13word pussy.
- 9:14Like, I have met plenty of people who are like, oh, oh, no.
- 9:18Oh, no.
- 9:18And in fact, when I really started using the word pussy and, you know, started shifting my
- 9:23business at the time, I had this, like, a pretty big Facebook group.
- 9:26It was called Sacred Birth Conscious Mama, like,
- 9:28so beautiful.
- 9:29And I changed the name of the group to Pussy Centered Living, and people freaked out.
- 9:35Uh-huh.
- 9:35Not everybody, but good there was a good number of people who freaked out.
- 9:41And so, you know, if if someone is just like, no, no, with that word, I'm not here to
- 9:46convince them.
- 9:47But if they're like, oh, even though I'm feeling some trigger here, even though this is
- 9:52bringing something up inside of me, like, I wanna know more, like, something's drawing me
- 9:56in, you know, that's where I come in.
- 9:59And wherever we have places where we feel triggered or we feel shame or we're just like,
- 10:05oh, that word pussy, like, oh, Right?
- 10:08That is always a sign that there is a portal into our power there available for us.
- 10:13And so that's really how I approach, you know, anything that this word or our sexuality might
- 10:18bring up inside of us.
- 10:19It's like, okay.
- 10:20If you're feeling this and you want to move through this, like, this is a portal into so
- 10:25much healing, so much expansion, so much power and pleasure.
- 10:30And I'm not gonna force anybody to use that word.
- 10:32In fact, I mean, I have students who are in my world, who've been in my world for a while.
- 10:36They love this work.
- 10:37They love the reclamation of it, but pussy actually isn't their favorite word.
- 10:42Like, they have other words they rather use, and that is totally fine.
- 10:46It's just for me, that's the word I use, and if you're gonna be in my world, you are gonna hear
- 10:49it a lot.
- 10:50Yeah.
- 10:51It's fair.
- 10:51Yeah.
- 10:52It's fair.
- 10:52So so then when it you know, the this conversation, right, your work on pussy
- 10:58centered living.
- 10:59Mhmm.
- 10:59Like, what do you like, what does that really mean from you?
- 11:03Like, for or from your terminology, like, to live from your pussy, what does that mean?
- 11:08And and with that, like, do people and obviously, we're talking about women here.
- 11:14Like, where do women have problems when they are, say, you know, trying to live from their
- 11:20pussy or they don't even realize they're not living from their pussy.
- 11:23Like, what does that, like, look like, I guess is my question from a standpoint of, yeah, I'm
- 11:28disconnected from this area.
- 11:29I'm not living from this area.
- 11:31How might that show up in day to day life?
- 11:34Yeah.
- 11:35Such such great questions.
- 11:36So so as you mentioned a moment ago, like, when we're using the word pussy, it's it's
- 11:42encompassing so much anatomy on our body.
- 11:48It you know, she is a connection source to this really deepest core part of ourself, like our
- 11:54truth, our intuition, this wisdom.
- 11:57She's not just a part on our physical body.
- 11:59Like, she's an energetic portal.
- 12:01Right?
- 12:01She's actually a part of our psyche.
- 12:04And so we could almost say that, like, living pussy centered is, like, living in tune with
- 12:09the deepest part of yourself and also with pleasure as, like, our North Star.
- 12:15Right?
- 12:15Pleasure, I say that pleasure is the embodiment of pussy and the language of pussy.
- 12:20I mean, it's expression of pussy centered living, and it's not, you know, something that
- 12:25is frivolous or a luxury or that should be a reward.
- 12:29It's actually one of the most, like, nourishing, sustainable, like, powerful ways to
- 12:35just be who we are and to do what we do in the world.
- 12:39And so, you know, pussy centered living is like living from that source.
- 12:43It's not it's not putting our our power or our knowing, you know, outside of us.
- 12:49It's really centering this within our own selves.
- 12:53And I also use the word pussy kind of as a synonym for for feminine energy.
- 12:59Right?
- 12:59And so when I say pussy, it's it's the source, it's our pleasure, it's our sexuality, it's
- 13:05this physical anatomy, you know, it's our ability to be in tune with our emotions and to
- 13:11process them in healthy ways and to be able to what I call, emotional alchemy, where we can
- 13:17meet whatever we're feeling, whatever experience we're having in emotions, and we can
- 13:21actually shift that into feeling pleasure or feeling better or feeling how we want to be.
- 13:26Those are all kind of the realms of of pussy and and pussy centered living.
- 13:31And so it's also, you know, it's it's about putting this, like, inner wisdom, this pleasure
- 13:38that is our compass first.
- 13:40Right?
- 13:40Tuning into that first, like centering ourselves around that and then showing up from
- 13:46there, moving through the world from there.
- 13:48And that is not, you know, one of the biggest limiting beliefs that people come up against
- 13:52around, you know, claiming pleasure or pussy centered living is this piece of like, well, if
- 13:57I if I put my pleasure first and I prioritize that, like, aren't I gonna become this just
- 14:03selfish person?
- 14:05Like, I should be you know, we are conditioned to put others first, to be givers first and
- 14:11foremost, which, I mean, obviously, it's beautiful to give and to take care of others.
- 14:14But when we when we center that first and we prioritize that, we we burn out.
- 14:20It's unsustainable.
- 14:21We get grouchy and irritated and bitter.
- 14:24We have really big challenges going through menopause.
- 14:28Like, it's a it's a huge it it causes it has a lot of repercussions.
- 14:32And so along those lines, the other part of your question was how can we become aware that
- 14:36we even are disconnected?
- 14:39I mean, if you if it's hard for you to say the word pussy or vagina or vulva without like a
- 14:45little bit of a cringe, like there's a sign right there.
- 14:48And and said and all of this said with so much love, and also everything I'm saying I have
- 14:53experienced and also lived through.
- 14:56You know, one of the it's like so simple, but kind of life changing things that I experienced
- 15:01once I started paying attention, like listening to my pussy living from this place as I
- 15:06realized how much I was running around, like having to pee, having to go to the bathroom.
- 15:12But I was so, like, disconnected.
- 15:14I, you know, I'd be like, oh, well, no.
- 15:15I have to finish all of these dishes before I can stop and go to the bathroom.
- 15:19Right?
- 15:19So we are literally disconnected from our body.
- 15:22We override pain and discomfort.
- 15:25It's often about prioritizing our our doing.
- 15:28Right?
- 15:29Our productivity, like, oh, I'm too, you know, busy to tune in to how I feel or to what might
- 15:34be feeling good.
- 15:36And so, you know, main main symptoms really are feeling feeling stressed, feeling like we don't
- 15:44have a lot of I wouldn't don't know if control is the right word, but like ability to feel the
- 15:51way that we wanna feel.
- 15:52Right?
- 15:52If we if we feel like, ugh, I wake up and I'm feeling kind of sad or blah or meh or angry or
- 15:57depressed and I have no way of shifting out of that, that's actually a disconnection from
- 16:02pussy right there, and how we feel in our pleasure.
- 16:05You know, having having blocks or resistances around our sexuality, not being deeply
- 16:12connected to our pleasure and being able to share that with somebody else.
- 16:15Right?
- 16:15These are all sign symptoms of disconnection.
- 16:18And once again, like, this is not our fault.
- 16:22I mean, it's I always like to give the context of like, hey, remember, we've been living in a
- 16:27misogynistic patriarchy for five thousand years, like, and these are the repercussions.
- 16:31And so it's not our fault, and also we no one can reclaim this for ourselves, no one can
- 16:37reconnect except for our own selves.
- 16:39And and that's the beautiful thing about it, we can decide to do it.
- 16:42Just a quick interlude because I want to address that it is so common that people are
- 16:49struggling to prioritize their relationships and their intimate life between jobs kids and
- 16:55caring for elderly parents and so much more.
- 16:58Sometimes it can just feel like a last thing on the to do list.
- 17:02Now if you're struggling with that or if you're struggling with having better sex or having
- 17:08good orgasms or lasting longer or erectile dysfunction or pelvic pain or something else in
- 17:13the sex emotional relationship intimacy space, you are definitely going to want to take a
- 17:19moment right now so you remember to sign up for the eternal honeymoon extravaganza.
- 17:25I have 15 speakers I've specially curated and picked from around the world for a very
- 17:30complete and holistic look and teachings and actionable steps from everything under the sun,
- 17:37sex, and relationships.
- 17:39So take a quick minute.
- 17:40Go click on that link and register to make sure you remember, and I look forward to seeing you
- 17:44there.
- 17:45Now let's get back to our episode.
- 17:47Yeah.
- 17:48I really like looking at stuff like this as it's not our fault, but it is our
- 17:51responsibility.
- 17:52Right.
- 17:521800%.
- 17:53I say that all the time.
- 17:55Like, we are the ones that are in charge of actually fixing this.
- 17:58No matter how we got here, the fact is that we are here now and, you know, we can talk about
- 18:04all the reasons why, and they can be interesting and helpful sometimes to learn.
- 18:08But really, in order to fix it and move on, we have to take responsibility for getting
- 18:12ourselves into a new a new state.
- 18:15Have you ever do you know doctor Nayan Weiss?
- 18:17Have you ever met her before?
- 18:18No.
- 18:19I haven't.
- 18:19I'm gonna I'm gonna put you two in touch if you want.
- 18:21She's a great researcher and studies a lot on female organ organ orgasms, not organisms,
- 18:28female orgasm.
- 18:28She she I learned the term from her, healthy hedonism.
- 18:34And I just absolutely love this term so much.
- 18:37I've I've repeated it many times in my work giving her credit because I think it's it just
- 18:41says so much to this concept we're talking about here around, okay, pleasure, like
- 18:46hedonism, was always thought of like this bad thing.
- 18:49Like, there's so much negative connotation to to the pursuit of pleasure, which is what
- 18:54hedonism is.
- 18:55But essentially, this is one of the most fundamental ways that we can heal our body, our
- 19:01relationships, our mind, our souls, our spirit, on and on.
- 19:04And like you said, it's like putting ourselves first in these scenarios is something that used
- 19:10to be thought of as bad, and I think there's just more and more movement now to realizing
- 19:14it's like, you know, the the obvious thing that people say sometimes.
- 19:18It's like, oh, the airplane, put your mask on first before you're, you know, your child, but
- 19:22that that, of course, applies to all of life.
- 19:24Like, when we are whole, we're coming from wholeness and, you know, on the road to
- 19:28wholeness, should say, because nobody's ever a 100% there.
- 19:32You know, we're able to give so, so, so much more.
- 19:35100%.
- 19:36You know, to make this actionable, right, because I always like making things actionable
- 19:40for people as much as possible.
- 19:42So, you know, people are listening to your description, which was wonderful on, okay, this
- 19:47disconnection from pussy, there's disconnection from your female anatomy or whatever word feels
- 19:53or words feel good to use there, and realizing that, wow, yeah, I don't feel pleasure or I
- 20:00don't follow my intuition or I'm like, I'm constantly stressed out and not listening to
- 20:05the signs, like, I need to urinate, like you said.
- 20:09What are do you find, like, with your work, there's, like, a step by step order?
- 20:14I, you know, I definitely know firsthand from, you know, from my work that everybody is
- 20:19slightly different, of course.
- 20:20But when it comes to action, like, sort of actionable steps do you offer for people around
- 20:26this is a first step of actually really getting back in tune with this part of your body, not
- 20:32just from a sexual pleasure perspective, but from just a general life pleasure and intuition
- 20:38and attunement to one's own, you know, mind, body, soul, spirit.
- 20:44Yeah.
- 20:44Yeah.
- 20:45I love this.
- 20:45And this is so important.
- 20:47Right?
- 20:47Like, we have to be able to take action because that's how we actually, like, put all this,
- 20:51like, healing and reclamation into practice.
- 20:53Yes.
- 20:54And so I'm I am a mama of three.
- 20:57They're not that little anymore.
- 20:59I've got 16 year old, 14 year old, and and nine year old, but, you know, I'm I'm a busy mama,
- 21:04and so I really like things to be, you know, simple yet effective, and also things I can be
- 21:10doing as I'm moving through my life.
- 21:12Like, it's it's rare that I do, you know, like some hour long pleasure practice, unless I'm
- 21:17making love to my husband.
- 21:18Right?
- 21:18But like, I like things to be really accessible to us.
- 21:21And that's one of those things that I love about connecting back to pussy and connecting
- 21:26to our pleasure is it does not have to be like an extra thing on your to do list.
- 21:31You don't have to go take like time out of your life to focus on it.
- 21:35Although that obviously is very helpful as well, and there's definitely a time and place
- 21:40for that.
- 21:40Right?
- 21:40But we can start connecting literally in a moment.
- 21:43And one of the first ways I like to do it is more through an energetic type of connection
- 21:48where you're literally just maybe you're closing your eyes or softening your gaze, and
- 21:52you are just taking a breath, imagining that you're drawing that breath all the way down
- 21:56into your pussy.
- 21:57And if you feel comfortable, you could even, like, put your hands, like, cup your hands over
- 22:02your pussy, even just over your clothes if it's helpful to kind of, you know, bring your breath
- 22:07down to that area and just breathe.
- 22:11Just feel.
- 22:13Like, just take a moment to be present in that part of you, even just literally for one
- 22:18breath.
- 22:19Obviously, if we can do more than that, great.
- 22:21But even just one breath done consistently over time can make a huge difference.
- 22:27And so that can be just like an a a starting point, and then starting to really notice how
- 22:31we feel.
- 22:31Like, as I started to do that, that's when I was like, wow.
- 22:34I have to pee, like, all of the time, and I'm making myself hold it instead of just taking
- 22:38care of my needs.
- 22:40And so we just start to notice, and one of the things that we may notice is like, wow.
- 22:45I don't really feel anything.
- 22:47Like, gosh, there's not a lot here, and maybe it does feel just kind of numb or disconnected
- 22:52or just like, I don't, like, I don't know if I'm doing it right.
- 22:55I can't feel anything.
- 22:56And and that's fine.
- 22:58Like, that just is a symptom of the disconnection.
- 23:00And what happens when we are disconnected is there's literally a disconnect in the neural
- 23:05pathways between our brain and our body, and so we just we might not have a lot of sensation
- 23:09there because we just get to really strengthen those pathways, and we can do that by just
- 23:14breathing into our pussy and being willing to feel what's there.
- 23:18And if it is numbness, if it is a sense of kind of disconnection, like, being curious about
- 23:23that.
- 23:23And so really, I think the first first piece that we get to do is just to, like, forgive
- 23:28ourselves for not listening to our bodies in the past, for having numbness, for feeling
- 23:35shame, or whatever might come up is, like, it's it's okay.
- 23:39You know, there's a reason that we're here, and like you like, we're both saying, it's it is
- 23:44our responsibility to reclaim this, but we don't have to, you know, make this something
- 23:48that we're like, oh, have done a bad job on or failed.
- 23:52Like, no.
- 23:52No.
- 23:53And we can shift this.
- 23:54So so that's the first way I love to start, right, with just using that breath.
- 23:58I also really like to do what I call pussy sensing meditations with people, where you're
- 24:03now starting to not just breathe into just like hurt in general, but start to notice like, can
- 24:08I even bring my awareness to different parts of pussy?
- 24:11Like, can I breathe into my clit?
- 24:12Can I breathe into my labia?
- 24:14Like, can I start to bring more awareness to this area?
- 24:18And once again, those are things that we can do very simply.
- 24:23And it's, you know, our our pussy is I I love to say, right, she's a a source of our power,
- 24:28but it's like, okay.
- 24:29Well, what does that really mean?
- 24:30It can mean many different things, but part of that is she she is an energetic source.
- 24:35She is a powerful source of energy, and when we are disconnected from her, we do not have
- 24:40access to that energy.
- 24:42But when we start to connect, even if it's just as simply as breathing into her and feeling
- 24:46her, we start to awaken that energy source, and then of course we can go, you know, much deeper
- 24:52into healing and reclamation.
- 24:54Right?
- 24:55This is a starting practice.
- 24:56There are many, many more things we can do, but the more we do it, the more we liberate that
- 25:01energy.
- 25:01And I mean, just as a real simple, real life example, you know, three kids, we also live out
- 25:07in the country, so I do a lot of driving of my children around to other activities.
- 25:11And that used to be such a stressful experience for me, you know, I'm just like, oh, these kids
- 25:15in the car and they're fighting or crying or like whatever is happening, and I would, we
- 25:19would get to the place and I'd just be kind of like irritated, and I started doing this very
- 25:23thing we're talking about where as as I'm driving, all I'm doing is just like breathing
- 25:27with presence, like in and out of my pussy, and I get, we get, I like, I feel amazing, And
- 25:33like, maybe the kids are still crying and fighting, but I'm like, And actually, what
- 25:36happens is people, because we are all, you know, energetically connected, when I do that,
- 25:44it's amazing.
- 25:44I can have kids who are like screaming and crying in the car.
- 25:47I like breathe into my pussy and focus on that, and then the next thing I know, I'm like, wow,
- 25:51everybody's like really quiet and happy and content back there, and I'm feeling alive and
- 25:56full of energy.
- 25:58And so that's that's a beautiful way we can start.
- 26:01I do also love to start with, like, hands on practices of connecting and connecting with our
- 26:08pleasure.
- 26:09That could be, like, a a self pleasure practice, aka masturbation, but I don't love
- 26:14the word masturbation, so I call it self pleasure.
- 26:16Right?
- 26:17Where we're not where there's no goal, we're not trying to give ourselves an orgasm, we're
- 26:20just there for the point of connecting and finding our pleasure and awakening to
- 26:25sensation.
- 26:27Obviously, that does require we can't always do that right in the moment.
- 26:30Like, that does require a little bit of of time set aside, but it's worth it.
- 26:34But then one last thing that is, you know, such a something that we can really focus on that's
- 26:39so accessible is attuning to our pleasure and pleasure as an activation of our senses.
- 26:45Right?
- 26:46So pleasure is an experience in our body and it comes through our senses.
- 26:52And so and once again, as I said, like, pleasure is the language and the embodiment and
- 26:56the expression of pussy, so when we're activating our pleasure, we are connecting to
- 26:59that part of us as well.
- 27:01And we could do that as in like, you know, I'm I'm sitting here teaching and talking and I
- 27:06have this like smooth rock on my desk that I love to just like touch and stroke and there's
- 27:11so much pleasure in that touch.
- 27:13Right?
- 27:14Or we can look out the window at some beautiful nature or a flower or a painting that we have
- 27:19and receive pleasure from that experience.
- 27:21I have this scented candle at my desk that I just love, and I breathe in the the smell of
- 27:26it, and I'm just like, oh, smells so good.
- 27:29And I I let myself really receive that pleasure.
- 27:32So we always have ways to activate and access our pleasure in any moment, and it really is an
- 27:39attunement to it and a and a choice to feel into it.
- 27:42So those those are some simple kind of beginning practical steps that I would suggest.
- 27:47Yeah.
- 27:48So helpful.
- 27:49Thank you for all of that.
- 27:50And just to emphasize a couple of things you said, like, I do think, like just emphasizing
- 27:55for people this emotions and it's almost like flags, right?
- 27:59So if you're like tuning into this and you're like, oh, I feel weird, or I'm doing it wrong,
- 28:03or I don't have sensation, or I am disembodied, and just your advice on don't make it wrong.
- 28:09Like like, actually just notice this and just say, hey, that's that's where I am and it's not
- 28:14good or bad, it just is, really can take that charge away and these things are really just
- 28:19they're just they're just flags.
- 28:20They're just information to let us know, hey, this is what's happening.
- 28:24And then we have the, you know, the opportunity to move into a different state, to move into a
- 28:30different space, and to allow something else to happen.
- 28:32And and I hope some of our listeners are taking this so much to heart that as you're list
- 28:38they're listening to you, you know, you've given like some really good practical advice
- 28:42that people that are listening could be doing in this moment.
- 28:47Right?
- 28:47Like feeling the pleasure of your, you know, your pelvic floor resting deeply in your chair,
- 28:53right, as you are listening to this.
- 28:55Right?
- 28:55If you're on a walk and listening, like, listening to or watching the leaves blow in the
- 29:01wind and taking pleasure in the beauty of that, like, all of these opportunities all day long
- 29:05so that as you're listening, you could, like, really put this into practice real, real, real,
- 29:10real, immediate, and real time.
- 29:12So I wanna make sure that everybody is aware that in part two, we're gonna be talking about
- 29:18the relationship of pussy, of being embodied with things like low libido, or where this how
- 29:25this impacts desire for your partner, where this comes into more the partnership.
- 29:30So definitely get this from part two, but I do wanna make sure before we pop over to part two
- 29:35that people know about some of your great offerings.
- 29:38I know you have your own podcast.
- 29:40You have a free meditation for our listeners on I imagine it's on how to access your pussy and
- 29:47get into that energy more.
- 29:48Is that what that meditation's about?
- 29:49Yes.
- 29:50In a nutshell, yes.
- 29:52Perfect.
- 29:53Well, we will link that in the show notes for sure.
- 29:54And then what else did you wanna make sure that our listeners knew about as far as how to get
- 29:58ahold of you?
- 30:00Yeah.
- 30:00Definitely.
- 30:01Well, I'm on on social media, so you can come hang out with me on Facebook or Instagram.
- 30:05And then I did also get finished I just finished teaching a workshop, which is gonna be
- 30:10an evergreen program called How to Want Sex Again.
- 30:13And it is it's like a a gentle step into pussy centered living from this lens of, an
- 30:19experience that so many of us have, especially when we are in longer term relationship, and
- 30:25maybe there was a lot of, you know, desire at some point in the relationship, but it has
- 30:29fizzled over time.
- 30:31And so it's really about reclaiming our desire, our turn on from a a pussy centered lens.
- 30:37So that's, that's available.
- 30:38I'll share the link with it there.
- 30:40And, I would love to connect with people.
- 30:43Amazing.
