Goose Wars Recap: 30 Honkers and Second-Place Agony
On this episode of the Duckfellas Podcast, hosts Tyler, Kade, and Austin recap Goose Wars — a wild weekend where their 10-man limit dropped 30 geese but still landed them in second place. They share scouting stories, weather challenges, and the excitement of a memorable hunt.
The conversation shifts to gear: semi-autos versus pumps, 12- vs 20- and 16-gauges, favorite brands and choke choices, and heated opinions on ammunition (Fiocchi, Apex, Kent, Migra stacks and more). Practical tips, personal fails, and what they carry in the boat round out the discussion.
Between hangovers, tool fixes…
