Transcript
- 0:11Hey guys, welcome to Mom Gone mild.
- 0:14We are officially on YouTube. We are also on Spotify, Amazon
- 0:19and Apple podcast. So binge that episode one
- 0:23through 4 and we can't wait for this episode.
- 0:28Today I have my amazing little sister Sophia.
- 0:33She is Gen. Z.
- 0:35I'm a millennial, so you know we don't agree on much, but here
- 0:39she is. Sophia.
- 0:41Hi guys. I'm Alexis's little sister,
- 0:43oldest little sister, yeah, 25. So we have an 11 year age gap,
- 0:49which is it's been interesting. For sure.
- 0:53How rude. Anyways, so basically what we do
- 0:57on this podcast is we kind of go like back in time, talk a little
- 1:01bit about the past. So basically that's why I have
- 1:05you here, so you can talk all about me.
- 1:07No, I'm just kidding. But yeah, so all right, let's
- 1:12get the vibe. I'm a Libra, so I'm very
- 1:14outgoing. I'm very just friendly, and I
- 1:19love to communicate with people and just have fun.
- 1:22What are you? I'm a Leo.
- 1:25I feel like I am very, I think I'm very confident and social
- 1:32and I'm I just always say what's on my mind and do what I feel
- 1:38like I need to do. That's true.
- 1:39That's true. And yeah, sometimes we clash
- 1:42because of that. I'm a little too honest
- 1:43sometimes, I will say. Yeah, a little harsh, but it's
- 1:46OK. We like good criticism here.
- 1:49I mean, sometimes she gives me bad criticism, but everything is
- 1:52helpful. Yeah, everything is true.
- 1:54Yeah, I'll never lie to you. That's good.
- 1:57As a Libra, I feel like I will lie to you, but like, just to be
- 2:02nice. Yeah.
- 2:03And because I feel bad. Oh, I don't know.
- 2:08I just feel like in a nice way, I'm lying.
- 2:11So anyways, you look beautiful today.
- 2:14Oh, think you said to you no. I'm just kidding.
- 2:16Actually did my hair today. What?
- 2:19Because I said I'd lie. Oh, oh, OK.
- 2:23I'm just kidding. So OK, we're going to kind of
- 2:25start this out first with some questions.
- 2:31So we do have an 11 year gap, right?
- 2:34So I want to know how was it having an older sister when you
- 2:40were pretty young? I feel like it was pretty cool
- 2:46to have like such an older sister because I guess from my
- 2:50earliest memory is like what, like 5 years old.
- 2:53So I think that's when you kind of started, like, you know,
- 2:58being your party girl. Yeah.
- 3:00Era, yeah. And that's my earliest memory of
- 3:03you. To be honest, Oh, cool.
- 3:04So I was like 16. So I want to know like, what do
- 3:08you remember? Like what did you think?
- 3:09Were you like, oh, she's cool or damn, she has issues.
- 3:13I mean, I know you're 5, but you had to have at least some kind
- 3:17of. Right thought.
- 3:18Yeah, well, I never thought that you had issues.
- 3:22Well, that came later when I was more like conscious, but no,
- 3:26like when I was younger, I was like, oh, like my sister is so
- 3:29cool. She has all these friends.
- 3:31She's always going out. Like I want to be her, you know?
- 3:34And I, I remember like one of the things that stuck with me is
- 3:37like that year that you went to prom or something and you guys
- 3:41got a whole limo. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:42I think you had like, let me like get in it something before.
- 3:46I. Left and I was like, Oh my gosh,
- 3:48she's so cool. Like, that was my first time in
- 3:50a limo. Yeah, I guess.
- 3:52That was, yeah, we met like at a park or something to take
- 3:55photos. I remember that.
- 3:56OK Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's cool.
- 3:59But like, so was I like, I feel like I was.
- 4:05It's so weird because I feel like I was like a mom type T,
- 4:08but maybe that was like all in my head because I just remember
- 4:10I used to babysit you a lot and like pick you up and take you
- 4:14places. And so like, did you see me as
- 4:17that type or you were just like, oh, she's a fun older sister.
- 4:21I think definitely fun older sister.
- 4:24I never really, I guess felt like a mom type.
- 4:29It was more like like, yeah, this is the homie, but she like,
- 4:32she takes me places and like, you know, yeah, but you did
- 4:37babysit me a lot. But I just kind of thought we
- 4:39were hanging out. Yeah, that's true.
- 4:41So I have a question. Did your friends ever think I
- 4:44was hot? Of course, of course.
- 4:47Yeah, yeah, duh. Well, because she was living
- 4:51with me when I think I was still in high school, like early high
- 4:54school. And so I would have my friends
- 4:55over and stuff like that. But yeah, I mean, my friends
- 4:59would be like, your mom is hot. And then they would meet my
- 5:01sister and they're like, damn your.
- 5:03Our mom is hot. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 5:05Yeah, yeah, definitely hot. Definitely runs in the family.
- 5:09Yeah, we're good looking. What?
- 5:11Can I say? So we think anyways.
- 5:15All right, so let's see if you can describe me in one word,
- 5:23what would it be? And then I'll describe you in
- 5:25one word. And it can be me and it can be
- 5:27nice. It can be whatever.
- 5:30I would say like, not dramatic, but your emotions are very
- 5:44extreme. OK.
- 5:48So what's a? Word for that?
- 5:50Emotional. Oh, that's not a nice no, but
- 5:55I'm saying like when you're like, you're so nice, you're
- 5:57like literally like the nicest and then like, you know.
- 6:00So I'm nice, OK? You're so nice.
- 6:06I'm nice and emotional. OK.
- 6:08So if I were to describe you, all right, there's like 2
- 6:14versions of Sophia, by the way, like 1 when she's sober and one
- 6:19when she was drunk. So I actually have two words for
- 6:21that. The sober one, I'm going to be
- 6:26honest, like really fun to be around.
- 6:30So I would definitely describe you as fun, a little selfish,
- 6:39but I feel like that's like the Leo thing in you.
- 6:41Too. Yeah, it's not my fault.
- 6:42Yeah, no, it just, it is what it is.
- 6:45And then there's the drunk. So I like to call her pretty
- 6:50chaotic. That yeah, that's pretty
- 6:53accurate. Yeah, yeah, like usually when
- 6:55we're on vacations, like you get sent to bed early, right?
- 6:59But it's OK that you see me too. So you're are you happy to see?
- 7:03That yeah, I'm just happy it's not me anymore.
- 7:06Like it's you. I've passed that down.
- 7:08So I'm pretty proud of that. All right, so you're Gen.
- 7:15Z and Millennial. What do you feel is like the
- 7:16difference, the biggest difference between both
- 7:19generations? And I know it's so funny because
- 7:21like the other day I asked you like, what are you like Gen.
- 7:24Z or Millennial? And you're like as what did you
- 7:26call? Millennial.
- 7:27Zillennial, like now she's just making up stuff because I've
- 7:30never in my life heard that, but go ahead.
- 7:32I didn't make a little bit more of that.
- 7:34OK, so I didn't make this up but also I don't know if I fall into
- 7:38this category. So I was born right in 2000.
- 7:42So my first, first phone was a razor.
- 7:46OK, OK. Yeah, I didn't have touch screen
- 7:48growing up. Yeah.
- 7:49Which is why I feel like I kind of qualify for millennial.
- 7:54But then also like I did get a touch screen at 10 years old.
- 7:58Yeah. So.
- 8:00So are you just basing it off the phones you had or like what
- 8:03is the real? Thing other things there, I
- 8:07mean, I feel like the Gen. Z is like you grew up with smart
- 8:12technology and social media. OK.
- 8:15Yeah, I think it's more like the social media.
- 8:16Thing, OK, but also like, yeah, I guess like I think you were
- 8:22there like right when Instagram and that stuff started because I
- 8:26was like in high school. So yeah, you must have been like
- 8:29around just when it started. So I get that like.
- 8:32So do you see like a difference between you and like younger
- 8:35Gen. Z?
- 8:37Yeah, well, because our brothers, they're like they're
- 8:40in high school right now that we also have an 11 year age gap.
- 8:43Yeah, them they kind of have no attention span.
- 8:52And also, what is it like they have to have like constant
- 8:56stimulation, which I feel like I definitely can have that on some
- 9:01days, but it's not like I don't think it's like a daily thing
- 9:04for me, right? OK.
- 9:07But maybe I'm just trying to distance myself from that, Jen.
- 9:11I think so. I think secretly she does want
- 9:14to be a millennial because this whole Zillennial thing is just.
- 9:18I've never heard of it, but whatever.
- 9:20We always appreciate Gen. Z that appreciates millennials
- 9:24and aren't talking crap about us.
- 9:27Like online I see so many things like, oh, it's because you're
- 9:30millennial. Oh, it's because you're this
- 9:32like you're so out of touch. It's crazy.
- 9:34Like the other day I was like arguing with this girl and like,
- 9:37I think I told you, right? Like about the AI thing.
- 9:40And it's like she's like, AI is like, you know, destroying the
- 9:44world. And she was like legitimately
- 9:46arguing with me. And I was just like, OK, like we
- 9:48all have opinions, that's cool. But then she goes just have
- 9:51like, arguing and arguing. And I was like, OK, girl, it's
- 9:53not that serious. I mean, obviously if it's
- 9:56destroying the world, it is serious.
- 9:58But I mean, that's just technology.
- 9:59It's always moving. You know, it may die out, who
- 10:03knows, it may not. So I do have a question.
- 10:08I know right now you're in a relationship and it's been a
- 10:10long one. How long have you guys been
- 10:12together now? 6.
- 10:13Years. OK, Yeah.
- 10:14So it's been long. So you've been out of like the
- 10:16dating pool for a while, but like, how was it when you were
- 10:21in it? I feel, well, I guess we'll
- 10:25start off by saying that I'm like a serial monogamist and I'm
- 10:30just constantly in relationships.
- 10:32Yeah, which is not a bad thing, but like, yeah, it's just like
- 10:37happened to be that I'm always in a relationship since, well,
- 10:41technically my first boyfriend was in elementary school.
- 10:45Yeah, mine too. And then middle school, a couple
- 10:49in middle school and then high school.
- 10:51And then, yeah, yeah. So I guess my dating window was
- 10:56very short. But how was it when I was there?
- 11:00I mean, in that short window, I did use like the dating apps for
- 11:04a little bit, but I feel like all of the relationships that
- 11:08I've had, like have started off as friendships first.
- 11:10Yeah. So I feel like the social, the,
- 11:13I guess the apps thing just wasn't for me.
- 11:15And then like with my DID. You ever go on a date with
- 11:18anyone? I did, yeah.
- 11:20How was that? Because usually your boyfriends
- 11:22are like people you've known for, like, years and years.
- 11:26Yeah. From school.
- 11:27Every has been like that so I want to know like when you went
- 11:33on a date from an app how did that go?
- 11:35Yeah, it was very awkward, but it wasn't a bad date, OK?
- 11:41It just felt a little forced because it's like, not only am I
- 11:46meeting a stranger for the first time, but I'm meeting them for
- 11:49the intention of having a romantic relationship with them.
- 11:52Yeah, and that feels a little forced for me.
- 11:56Well, just because of my dating history like how I do.
- 11:59Meet my boyfriend. Yeah, Yeah, I think it's
- 12:00definitely that is a huge thing for you.
- 12:04Actually, I'm not going to lie, for me too, because I used to
- 12:07date a lot. But all my boyfriends have been
- 12:10like people that I've known for like years.
- 12:13Like my first boyfriend, I met him in high school, so it was
- 12:16like organic. Then we worked together.
- 12:19Then my second boyfriend, gosh, I don't even remember them to be
- 12:24honest, but but yeah, so it was like friendship first.
- 12:30Then like, I don't know, eight years later, we became like
- 12:33romantic. Then with my husband now we met
- 12:37really young too, like, but he was like in a relationship.
- 12:40And then I was just like a crazy party girl.
- 12:43So I was definitely not looking for anything serious.
- 12:45Then I slid in his DMS and yeah, it was, I'm kind of like that
- 12:49too with dating, but I've also went on a lot of dates.
- 12:53I went like, there is one point where I remember I was like a
- 12:58hair stylist. I was like living the life I
- 13:00didn't have much to do. And like, I'd be like, hungry
- 13:03and like, I'd go on the dating app and just like, find someone
- 13:08to Take Me Out just to have dinner.
- 13:11And then I'd be like, all right, cool, peace.
- 13:12And like, never talk to them again just 'cause I didn't feel
- 13:16like paying for my meal because I would always like order tons
- 13:20of drinks and stuff. Because it's like, you're right,
- 13:22it is awkward. You're meeting one person.
- 13:25And then my always thought was like, well, I'm probably never
- 13:27gonna see this person again. And if I do, then it is what it
- 13:31is. But honestly, I just went for
- 13:33like free meals, free drinks. You know what?
- 13:35Free club entrances like all the above.
- 13:38You know, if it was the love of your life, then you would have
- 13:41that that little dinner would have turned into something else,
- 13:44you know? Yeah, you would have felt it.
- 13:46Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I did go on a couple,
- 13:48you know, other dates with them, but it was like pretty much
- 13:51nothing, nothing serious, that stuff.
- 13:55So right now you're 25. Yes.
- 14:00You have a long term boyfriend. What, like do you have like
- 14:05goals in mind? Like, you know, I just became a
- 14:08mom at 36. So I'm like a really big
- 14:10advocate for like, please live your life and then have kids.
- 14:14Yeah. Like, I'm all for like getting
- 14:16married. That's fine.
- 14:18But like before kids, it's just like a whole different thing.
- 14:21Like now it's like I, I can't go out to dinner when I want.
- 14:25I have to like get a babysitter for nights out.
- 14:28It's just like a totally different vibe.
- 14:29So what are your kind of like plans?
- 14:33Or goals. Yeah.
- 14:34So right now, me and my boyfriend are definitely in our,
- 14:39like, party era, kind of like every weekend we're doing
- 14:44something, OK, which I don't hate at the moment, but I feel
- 14:48like I'm definitely, like, I can tell that I'm getting a little
- 14:51older. The hangovers are getting a
- 14:53little worse. I'm getting a little more
- 14:55lightweight. Yeah.
- 14:58But like, going forward, I mean, like, we talk about serious
- 15:02topics in casual conversations, which I feel like is really good
- 15:06because, like, we're both, like, comfortable enough with each
- 15:09other to do that. Yeah.
- 15:11So obviously we've talked about moving out.
- 15:13I've been sending him rings on TikTok.
- 15:16You didn't tell me this. Yeah.
- 15:18I mean, not for like the next year, but like, yeah, yeah,
- 15:22yeah. I didn't reference.
- 15:23I'm like, save this to your bookmarks.
- 15:25Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What kind of ring do you want?
- 15:28What is it? It starts with AC.
- 15:30It's kind of like the diamond shape.
- 15:34I forgot what it's called but. You know what, I'm not really
- 15:38good with shapes, but diamond shape.
- 15:41Yeah, it's kind. Of like gold.
- 15:43I do want gold, but the diamond itself I want.
- 15:46It. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:47It's kind of like this. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 15:49Yeah, I forgot what it's called. Search with ACI just saw on
- 15:51tick. So funny I have a word in mind,
- 15:53but it's definitely not that. OK.
- 15:56Yeah, I don't think it is, but but yeah, so I feel like we're
- 15:59both on the same page in terms of that.
- 16:03But yeah, like obviously we had to go through a couple things to
- 16:07like get to that point. Oh, for sure.
- 16:09Yeah. Yeah.
- 16:10Yeah, but honestly, I feel like this is the best that we've ever
- 16:13been. Right.
- 16:13Yeah, yeah, yeah. I feel like, honestly, like when
- 16:17you're finally ready, it's like you have to go through like the
- 16:20worst of the freaking worst because like, if you get married
- 16:24and everything's like, amazing. I mean, to me honestly, because
- 16:27I have so many issues, so I need to let that person know like
- 16:31this is me upfront. Like there ain't no surprises.
- 16:34And I feel like that's kind of how you are too.
- 16:36So it's like, I just feel like we have to go through these kind
- 16:39of issues, learn how to work it out, you know, like learn each
- 16:43other's like ticks, learn each other's like cuz sometimes like
- 16:47I do know Randy's like what pisses him off?
- 16:50So I like use that against him, which is awful, I know, But you
- 16:54know, we've come so far, we've done like so many, we've had a
- 16:58lot of issues in the beginning. And honestly, if it wasn't for
- 17:02that and we just like went in straight, like everything's
- 17:05perfect. I feel like now would be the
- 17:08issues coming up. And I, I feel like, you know,
- 17:10that's not saying like everyone's relationship,
- 17:12everyone's relationship is different, but I know the type
- 17:14of person I am. I need them to know exactly who
- 17:17I am because I don't want like judgement later or Oh my God I
- 17:22didn't know you were like this. No, I'm upfront with who I am.
- 17:27No, exactly. I feel like part of like the
- 17:29issues we had like in the past was like, I don't like that you
- 17:32do this thing, but I've but like nobody has ever said it's like
- 17:37on both sides, like I don't like that you do this thing.
- 17:39I don't like that you do that thing.
- 17:40And then it's like we have never said anything about that.
- 17:43So how are we supposed to like go forward with that and fix
- 17:46that? So I feel like once we had that
- 17:47conversation or like opened the dialogue for that, it definitely
- 17:50like paved the way for us to be at this point now.
- 17:54Yeah, yeah, All right. And then also, do you like, feel
- 17:57pressured to get married soon? Do you feel pressured to have
- 18:01kids? Or are you just kind of like
- 18:04living life because you also were so studious?
- 18:07Like, I remember, like, you were like, you know, I didn't go to
- 18:10like, university or anything, but she did.
- 18:13And she was like, so good at everything.
- 18:15I felt like that's how she was to me.
- 18:17Like I was like, Oh my God, she's so smart.
- 18:21But yeah, like, do you feel pressure?
- 18:24Honestly, no. I feel like because you had Axel
- 18:29so. Late.
- 18:32Yeah, I was gonna say so old, but yeah, so late.
- 18:36That kind of like made it easier for me.
- 18:38Yeah, Yeah. So I yeah, I definitely don't
- 18:40feel any pressure. Yeah, for marriage or kids,
- 18:43except for like our brothers are like, oh, when are you going to
- 18:45get back to a friend? I'm like, he was just born a
- 18:48couple months ago. What are you talking?
- 18:49About what, brothers? Jayden and Jonathan.
- 18:51Oh, anyways, yeah, yeah. So you're welcome because I feel
- 18:57like I actually pay the weight for like not just you, but like
- 19:01on my other side of my family. Like it's so crazy.
- 19:04Like I got like first one to get tattoos, first one to date,
- 19:09first one to like really mess up.
- 19:12So it's just like, and now I see like the difference because like
- 19:15mom used to be like more on me. I see it and on you, she's like
- 19:19more lenient. Like, you know, she used to ask
- 19:22me like, so are you going to get married soon?
- 19:25This and that? What are you going to give me
- 19:26grandkids? Honestly, she still said that
- 19:29until last year, so I finally gave her one.
- 19:32But like on my other side, you know, they're like a little bit
- 19:36younger than you, but I definitely see now that they get
- 19:39tattoos. It's like not a big deal.
- 19:42But like when I got one, Oh my gosh, it was like the end of the
- 19:45world. Like they were almost like cut
- 19:48it off and it's fine because that's just not the way that
- 19:51they grew up. You know, like especially coming
- 19:53from like a Cuban family and Ecuadorian family, they have
- 19:57such different like I guess standards and in those countries
- 20:01they get married so young girls don't get tattoos, Girls, you
- 20:06know, they're just like stay at home moms, things like that.
- 20:09So it's like different expectations.
- 20:11And so I feel like I really pave the way for you guys all
- 20:15honestly. So you're welcome you.
- 20:17Know what? You normalized a lot of things
- 20:19that would otherwise. Not be, but I did go through a
- 20:22lot of shit of them, like just telling me you should do this,
- 20:26you should do that. And I'm so glad I didn't listen
- 20:28because I now do whatever the fuck I want.
- 20:31So there you go. Yeah, Yeah.
- 20:35And then right now you have like a really good job.
- 20:37I'm so proud of you. So.
- 20:40I'll give you your kudos. Thank you.
- 20:43All right, so this is, well, everything's pretty new because
- 20:46this is our first episode, but I have a little game I'd like to
- 20:51play. I'm going to play this with all
- 20:53my guests. So congratulations, you're the
- 20:55first. My husband actually picked these
- 20:58cards out. It's from some game, so they're
- 21:03questions and then basically we'll be asking them to each
- 21:07other and then if we don't want to answer, we have to chug.
- 21:11And yes, these are alcoholic drinks, so.
- 21:15Take a sip. But now I'm hearing it's a chug.
- 21:17Well, hello, it's a chug because who the hell wants to look at
- 21:21someone? Take a sip of alcohol.
- 21:23I'm down. Freaking boring.
- 21:24Let's go. All right, so I will start
- 21:26first. I, I, this is the first time
- 21:32I've read these, sorry. So I just want to make sure, oh,
- 21:36this is a good one for you because I feel like you have
- 21:40kind of gone through this. OK, OK.
- 21:43Is it actually harder to make friends as an adult or do you
- 21:47think people just make excuses? Wow, that's a great question.
- 21:51Yeah, good job, Randy. Yeah, I think it's definitely
- 21:56hard to make friends as an adult because like when you're kids,
- 21:59it's kind of like friends of circumstance.
- 22:01Like I see you every day at school type of thing.
- 22:05But yeah, as an adult, I feel like once you get the power to
- 22:08choose your friends, you realize that, you know, there are some
- 22:12friends that you cut off. And honestly, I when I try to
- 22:18make new friends, I'm like, are you weird or are you normal?
- 22:23Obviously that's like a personal scale.
- 22:25For me, yeah. But yeah, so I would say yes,
- 22:29it's hard to make friends, but I just made a new friend at work
- 22:33and we're like super close. OK, She's one of my closest
- 22:36friends now, which is really crazy.
- 22:39Like I think I so I, she had just started at my work and then
- 22:42we were hanging out for maybe like honestly maybe like 3
- 22:45months at work, like going to lunch and stuff.
- 22:48And then I was like, oh, I'm going to Coachella.
- 22:49And she's like, wow, I've never been.
- 22:50And I'm like, oh, you should come with me after three months,
- 22:53like to camp with me. Like that's a commitment.
- 22:55Like if you've ever been, yeah, it's a full commitment.
- 22:58And I had only known her. And honestly getting tickets so
- 23:01early on that too. And then it like being the
- 23:04festival, so later on I feel like so much stuff can happen in
- 23:08between where it's like you don't even like stay friends and
- 23:11then. No, like I don't.
- 23:12I barely knew this girl. Yeah.
- 23:13Yeah, exactly. So you don't know like how it's
- 23:15going to keep going. But I think I just like, sensed
- 23:18something like, you know, and yeah, here we are.
- 23:21We had literally the best time ever.
- 23:22Nice. So and we're going back this
- 23:25year. So I would say yes, it's hard to
- 23:26make friends as an adult, but it's not impossible.
- 23:29True and actually I can contest to that because one of my best
- 23:32friends now you know is Cindy and when I first met her she
- 23:37knows this. I couldn't stand her.
- 23:39We actually met at work and and I always was like, oh, I have so
- 23:43many friends. I don't need new ones.
- 23:45And Oh my gosh, Cindy, you tried super hard to be my friend.
- 23:49Like but she literally is one of my best friends now.
- 23:54Like I treasure her so much. We don't work with each other
- 23:58anymore, but we still stay in contact.
- 24:00She's actually be a guest soon, so I'm super excited.
- 24:03But it's just like you really connect on a different level
- 24:06when you find those friends that aren't like from school or like
- 24:10people that you know from family because it's like you actually
- 24:14chose them. They have to like you for
- 24:17exactly. Just you, Yeah.
- 24:18Like there's no like, oh, remember when we did?
- 24:21No, it's because, like, I've known her maybe like, well, now
- 24:24it's been a little bit longer. It's been like two years, but
- 24:27when we first met she was at my Bachelorette, remember?
- 24:31It was just like a whole vibe and she's always there for me
- 24:34and I'm always there for her. But it is possible.
- 24:38Yes, but it's very rare because I have also made friends as a
- 24:42grown up where I just felt like they were jealous and like they
- 24:46would just talk crap behind my back.
- 24:49And it was just like really weird vibes because it's like I
- 24:51really didn't know them. And then when I found that
- 24:54stuff, of course I pushed them away.
- 24:55But yeah, I I agree with you. That was a good one.
- 24:59Good job, Randy, with that. Question.
- 25:01That was a great question. Go ahead and pick one up, OK?
- 25:03Can I just like? Choose anyone?
- 25:05Yeah. And honestly, I told you that
- 25:07I'm going to makey chud, but this drink is really good so I'm
- 25:12just going to keep on sipping it.
- 25:13So that was if we didn't answer the question.
- 25:16Yeah, I don't know if any of these are like risque because my
- 25:21husband picked them, but. OK, I have one.
- 25:25Oh no, it's a black card, so that means it's kinky, all
- 25:29right? OK, it says.
- 25:31Would you have sex with a clone of yourself?
- 25:39And Randy, what is this question?
- 25:41Would I have sex with a clone of myself?
- 25:48I mean, I guess because like, that's such a strange question.
- 25:56Is that weird? Yeah, my husband is very weird.
- 26:00There is. Like a like a discourse around
- 26:04if somebody from the if you from the future came and you guys did
- 26:08anything, it was, it's kind of like incestuous.
- 26:10Well, I definitely want to do with the future because I'm
- 26:12already 36, so my future self would be like 50 something and I
- 26:16wouldn't hook up with someone. But you're saying in the 50s
- 26:20maybe if I would have hooked up with someone like that was on my
- 26:22younger days, like my 21, Yeah, I was freaking hot actually.
- 26:27Now they think about it. So yeah, yeah, I would.
- 26:30But definitely not with someone from the future because of me,
- 26:35cuz that would be really old OK. I think I would definitely do a
- 26:38clone right now. I think I'm peeking right now.
- 26:40Yeah, I feel like this age I was like my prime in like my
- 26:46physical like appearance. I mean now it's like my mental
- 26:50blah, blah, blah. The boring part is like my
- 26:53prime, but definitely when I was like her age I was like super
- 26:57hot. Yes, I know I didn't have a mom
- 27:00bought it was like I actually borrowed her dress for.
- 27:04Home. Oh my God.
- 27:05And I thought I looked so hot. And then she went to go try an
- 27:09honor. How was that story?
- 27:11OK, it was a brand new dress I bought just for homecoming.
- 27:14I was skinny. And it was in my mom's closet
- 27:17and it. Was in mom's closet first of
- 27:19all, so I thought it was her dress.
- 27:21So then I went. I think it was maybe the day
- 27:23before till I tried on or something and then it was gone
- 27:27and I was like, hey mom, have you seen it?
- 27:30And then she went to Alexis and was like.
- 27:33Did you take that? Dress like.
- 27:36Oh, and she had worn it out basically of.
- 27:38Course I've worn it out. Yeah, I mean it.
- 27:40Was and everyone was giving me compliments by the way.
- 27:42So good choice and dress. That was a really good dress.
- 27:45And I still wore it. Yeah, So anyways, sorry about
- 27:49that. But yeah, there was like a point
- 27:50where we could like share clothes us and then share also
- 27:54with my mom. So it's like we had so many
- 27:57outfits that was perfect. So crazy because now I feel like
- 28:00all I wear like sweatpants and like I'm trying to like up my
- 28:06fashion right now because it's like I feel like I don't.
- 28:09I'm not saying like it's like frumpy or whatever, but since I
- 28:12became my mom, I just want comfort and it's like, I don't
- 28:16know, I need to like mix it between comfort and like still
- 28:19stylish. So I'm still finding my like
- 28:21kind of groove. But before we used to like share
- 28:24like mini skirts, like short shorts, like tight ass tops.
- 28:30Like I don't. I don't imagine wearing her
- 28:33clothes now like she actually ordered this skirt.
- 28:37Oh my gosh, I was dying because when she so like she sent it to
- 28:42me in whatever, like the way that I bought it, but so I sent
- 28:46it to her and then I was like, girl, this looks like the size
- 28:49of my purse. Like it was like, you know, like
- 28:51the mini, like. It was a low rise mini skirt so
- 28:55you can imagine. How Cow print?
- 28:57Short cow print. And it was cow print.
- 28:58Yeah, it was cute. Mind you, I would have
- 29:00definitely worn that back in the day.
- 29:02But now like looking at it, I was like this skirt was like
- 29:05this long and like length. Yeah, no, but it's so funny
- 29:09because what I would borrow your clothes or mom's clothes, I
- 29:11would be like, oh, these are so cute.
- 29:12They're like vintage, like style, like throwback.
- 29:16Gen. Z, Gen.
- 29:17Z here because literally it wasn't vintage, was it?
- 29:21It was literally it was like Hollister, Hollister,
- 29:24Abercrombie, like all I mean, I guess now it's vintage, although
- 29:28it is making a comeback, but it's just like that close is not
- 29:31it anymore. No, I don't know such a weird
- 29:35thing, but all right, let's do a couple more of these.
- 29:39All right, just going to pick a random one because I'm reading
- 29:43them and oh God, you know what? This literally is my husband
- 29:53picking these so Please remember OK?
- 29:56OK. If you fart during sex, do you
- 30:01keep going or does it kill the mood?
- 30:04Do you? Want me to go first?
- 30:08Yeah, yeah. Well, now that I have a
- 30:12boyfriend of six years, we just, like, kind of laugh and keep
- 30:16going, but we don't really pause.
- 30:18Yeah, yeah. Or if it's a pause, it's like
- 30:20one second. Yeah, like a little giggle and
- 30:23then just keep going. And then just ignore.
- 30:24It Yeah, just keep pumping. I think that's valid.
- 30:27I mean. But I think it's situational
- 30:30here, OK? Because, yes, in a relationship,
- 30:34it's funny, yeah. But if it's like a hookup, I
- 30:37would be mortified. Like I'd be like if there was a
- 30:41dog, I would definitely be like, it was a dog.
- 30:44You're saying if you farted? Yeah, if I farted, I and it was
- 30:49like a hookup and it wasn't like my husband.
- 30:51Obviously if it's my husband, it's it's funny like, you know,
- 30:55but if it's like someone that I'm like would have been like
- 30:57newly like seeing I would have been like that was like the dog
- 31:01and I feel like it would be really awkward.
- 31:03I'd be like. Lie about it.
- 31:04Oh for sure, I wouldn't tell a total person.
- 31:08Rarely like hooking up with. I mean, I I don't really think
- 31:12it's like that crazy. Like everybody farts like of.
- 31:15Course it's normal but I just feel like it's situational like
- 31:19I don't. Know I feel like even if it was
- 31:21a hookup I would just be like I was like huh my bad.
- 31:25Yeah. But see, I feel like that's the
- 31:26difference between us because I would literally be like, I have
- 31:30to go home. Oh.
- 31:32In the middle, I could care less.
- 31:33Oh. I'd be like, yeah, this is just
- 31:36not it for. Me.
- 31:36OK, what if he farted though? I feel like I would really if it
- 31:41was like a new hookup, I'd get the ick and I'd be like, Oh no.
- 31:47But now obviously it's like I've been with him for like 8 years
- 31:50so it's funny now. I mean, and I can't leave.
- 31:54He's the father of my child and I'm married to him.
- 31:57But besides that, no, no, no. I feel like, see, that's another
- 32:03difference between millennials and Gen.
- 32:05Z, because Gen. ZI feel like they would just
- 32:08think it's funny. Like millennials.
- 32:09I'd be so ashamed, like I'd be like, and then I'd like, I don't
- 32:13know, you died. No shame here guys, everybody
- 32:16farts. I know.
- 32:18I just honestly just keep it pushing.
- 32:19And you know, it's so funny because I'm a nurse, so all that
- 32:22stuff is like normal to me, but I just feel like it's weird.
- 32:25No, no. Nice.
- 32:34OK, OK. Is it ever OK to go someone?
- 32:43OK so I have to think pre marriage, yes I have ghosted
- 32:51many many many people. Oh. 3 minis.
- 32:54Yes I know I was actually really notorious for ghosting people to
- 32:59be honest because it's like if I got the egg or I didn't get a
- 33:03good vibe or like you said something weird, I would
- 33:07literally block you. Oh.
- 33:09Even one time it's really bad. I feel bad telling this story
- 33:13but so I don't know. This one guy went it was like a
- 33:18tender date. So we went to some restaurant
- 33:21and first of all he shows up super late.
- 33:24Second he orders all this crap like drinks, appetizers, like a
- 33:29freaking full course like 3 course meal.
- 33:33And then the check comes and he's like, oh, I forgot my
- 33:35wallet. And I was like, OK.
- 33:39And it's funny because usually on dates, I wouldn't even bring
- 33:42money. But for some reason I think that
- 33:43that was like payday or something.
- 33:45And like, I had money and I was like, sure, whatever.
- 33:48So to kind of like, get him back, he was like, do you wanna
- 33:52meet me at you remember the Gold room?
- 33:55Yeah. Justin Bieber was there actually
- 33:58a couple months. Ago really it's still popping
- 34:01okay so yeah he was like do you wanna meet me at gold room blah
- 34:05blah I'll be there at this time like yes absolutely and I even
- 34:09sent him a picture of me getting dressed and and I ghosted him
- 34:14because I was like this is payback for like making me pay
- 34:16for all this crap so and then it was funny because like he's like
- 34:20where are you this and that like you know you're a bitch blah
- 34:23blah blah and it just kept getting like progressively worse
- 34:27and it's so funny because I was just like blocked like I don't
- 34:32care like you made me pay for like a $200.00 bill like.
- 34:36So he didn't say like, I'll pay you back.
- 34:39No, no. It was weird.
- 34:42Did he pretend to look for the wallet or did he no.
- 34:46No, no. So first he comes like in a
- 34:47motorcycle. I was like, oh boy, it's one of
- 34:50these guys. Like I was like, I didn't even
- 34:52know he rode a motorcycle. And he's like, well, I just
- 34:54didn't have like space. I was like, OK, I know a lot of
- 34:58people that ride motorcycles and they carry their wallet.
- 35:00Also men's pockets are literally like never ending.
- 35:03I was. Like so you don't have like a
- 35:04backpack or something? I don't know.
- 35:06It was really weird the whole situation.
- 35:07So I ghosted him. I I ghosted a bunch of other
- 35:10guys because, like, they would just give me the ick and I'm
- 35:13like, oh, like, no, if you already give me the ick, we're
- 35:15done. Yeah.
- 35:16Yeah. OK.
- 35:17What about you do? I think I think it is OK in
- 35:22certain circumstances. If it's like you go on a date
- 35:26and you just like don't vibe and nothing.
- 35:28They didn't say anything like mean or controversial or
- 35:30anything. Like I think it's fine.
- 35:32I don't think it's OK. I think you should just be like,
- 35:34oh, like, I'm not feeling it, whatever.
- 35:37But honestly, I have seen on social media girls like saying
- 35:39like, hey, like, I'm just not feeling it, whatever, whatever.
- 35:41And then they're like, oh, you're such a bitch.
- 35:44Like just start cussing at them. Like you're like, just like,
- 35:47yeah, going crazy. So yeah, I mean, at this point,
- 35:53we're just going to assume that all men are crazy.
- 35:56Yeah. But yeah, I feel like if some,
- 35:59if you're like on a date or like talking to somebody and they say
- 36:02something that you already know, like like they're talking about
- 36:06a girl that they know, like in just a really like disgusting
- 36:09way or just like, yeah, I think that it's fine.
- 36:12Like they don't really deserve an explanation.
- 36:15I feel like they should kind of do some self reflection and
- 36:17figure out what they did and it's probably helping that.
- 36:21Well, we. Would hope so the time it does,
- 36:23we would hope we're just bitches to them.
- 36:25So to the bad ones, because there are really good ones out
- 36:30there. But I'm talking about the bad
- 36:32people we ghost. Yeah.
- 36:35All right, let's do one more. OK.
- 36:36Oh, did you pick this one? I did.
- 36:39OK. OK, this is a good one.
- 36:59And this will be our last one. OK.
- 37:02Should a partner be able to tell you to stop being friends with
- 37:06somebody? Dad, this is this is a good one
- 37:15for me actually. It's funny because I know her so
- 37:19well, so I'm asking like the right kind of questions.
- 37:23I I think, are you done? No, Yeah, almost.
- 37:30Go ahead. OK.
- 37:34I think they should feel comfortable enough to tell you
- 37:39that that's what they think should happen.
- 37:43But I don't think that it should be a mandate.
- 37:46Like if your boyfriend says you can't be friends with them, then
- 37:49you can't be friends with them. But I think you guys kind of
- 37:52have to like meet in the middle at that point.
- 37:54And there needs to be some sort of like boundary because
- 37:57obviously if your boyfriend or husband or whatever is saying
- 38:00that there's a reason for it and they're not just saying it,
- 38:03well, hopefully they're not just saying it just to like, just
- 38:07because they don't like that person for like a reason.
- 38:09Or wanting to control you. Exactly.
- 38:11No, no. Yeah.
- 38:13I guess like in terms of my relationship, like if my
- 38:15boyfriend did ever say that, it's because, you know, he's
- 38:18like looking out for me or like, you know, whatever.
- 38:23So honestly, I've never stopped being friends with somebody
- 38:28because my boyfriend told me not to.
- 38:31But I did go forward in that friendship with boundaries, you
- 38:35know? So I will say.
- 38:38That OK and then follow up question, it's not in the cards,
- 38:42but would you tell your boyfriend to stop being friends
- 38:46with someone if they were like if you saw kind of like red
- 38:49flags? Not like, I mean, obviously if
- 38:52they date and they're red flags, that's not our business, but I'm
- 38:55talking about like red flags in general.
- 38:56Like he's like kind of like an asshole like talks crap about
- 39:00you behind like. Cheats on his girlfriend.
- 39:03Yeah, like stuff like that. I do feel like his red flags,
- 39:06like if someone's like a serial dater, they date like a bunch of
- 39:10people or like they're always on like Hinge and stuff like that.
- 39:14Like I feel like that's not my business.
- 39:16Like, yeah, that's them. Like I'm not sleeping with them.
- 39:18What the hell do I care? But I'm talking about like, you
- 39:20know, he's like a cheater cheater.
- 39:22And like he's like, hey, let's go.
- 39:24Like tells your boyfriend, let's go on a weekend, get away like
- 39:28always. Only like, how would you feel
- 39:30about that? I, I would never say stop being
- 39:35friends with them, but I would suggest to limit their
- 39:41interactions from whatever they're doing now because like,
- 39:46I mean, I feel like guys when they hang out all together, like
- 39:52kind of like influence each other in a way and not usually
- 39:56not in a good way. They just feel more comfortable
- 39:59like saying things that they wouldn't otherwise say, like
- 40:00they wouldn't say to me or like whatever.
- 40:04But yeah, I mean, like my boyfriend does have a couple
- 40:07friends that are like that and just yeah, I would never tell
- 40:13him to stop being friends with them.
- 40:15I think it's just, I think it should be like, whatever he
- 40:19would do. Like if he wants me to stop
- 40:20being friends with them, I'm not going to do it.
- 40:22But I will set a boundary. Yeah.
- 40:24And like whatever, we can come to a compromise.
- 40:26Too. She's in a healthy relationship.
- 40:29And so I would hope that. And mature, yes.
- 40:32Thank you. My frontal lobe is developed.
- 40:35Yes. So yes, yeah, except when she
- 40:38drinks. And it's gone.
- 40:40It's out the window. Yeah, yeah.
- 40:41But that's a very good answer. What is it?
- 40:48No, isn't it? It's E and then clock in.
- 40:53Yeah, clock in. Clock in.
- 40:55I learned that from Love Island. Oh my God, Talking about shows,
- 41:02do you know what show I'm going to talk about?
- 41:03Tell me lies. Yes, it's coming out on the
- 41:0813th. It is one of my guilty fucking
- 41:14pleasures. I love Steven.
- 41:19Huh. I know it's disgusting.
- 41:22I he's a great actor, first of all, because I feel like anyone
- 41:25that really makes like you hate that character so much, just
- 41:31like kind of like neat in like Euphoria, like these guys are
- 41:35such great actors. Like, I don't know, it's really
- 41:38hard to like have someone hate you that much, but in in real
- 41:41life, like you like that actor. It's crazy like he plays a
- 41:45narcissist so well. Yes.
- 41:48Like borderline psychopath. Oh, 1000% Like, he definitely
- 41:53has some mental health issues, but then again, so do we.
- 41:56All right. But Oh my gosh, I'm so excited.
- 42:00I've been like counting down since it.
- 42:01It sucked because remember, I think I told you about this
- 42:04show. Yes.
- 42:05Yeah. So I started like back in season
- 42:071, which really sucks because I'm super jealous of the people
- 42:12that's just started now they. Didn't have to watch everything.
- 42:14Yeah, long. It was like years.
- 42:17I mean, honestly, I hate when shows do that.
- 42:19Like same thing with Stranger Things.
- 42:20Like I had to like rewatch the hell out of that show because I
- 42:24was like, I forgot what? I forgot everything.
- 42:27And then when I rewatched it, I was like, did I ever really
- 42:30watch the show? Because no.
- 42:32Because I started the new season and I didn't know.
- 42:35I saw the whole, obviously they give you a recap before you
- 42:37start a new season. I didn't really understand what
- 42:40was happening. Honestly, yeah, I feel like a
- 42:42lot of people feel that way, but we didn't have to wait that long
- 42:45for Tell Me Live, but OK, Like, who's your favorite character?
- 42:49And why my favorite? That's hard.
- 42:55I want to say. I guess I have to say, Steven.
- 43:04See, unfortunately, but I also really like Wrigley.
- 43:09Wrigley. Says.
- 43:10Shayla Oh my gosh, I hope that this season's much kinder to him
- 43:18because it's just been like 1 tragedy after another.
- 43:21No, that's. We won't do any spoilers, but I
- 43:24mean honestly, is it really a spoiler if the show has been out
- 43:27for years? I don't think so, but.
- 43:29Like 3, you know. Someone will get mad about that
- 43:32if I start talking about what happened I.
- 43:34Think maybe 10 years is like you should have watched it by now
- 43:37but like 3 years is no. Yeah, yeah, I agree.
- 43:41Yeah. So yeah, we're honestly.
- 43:43And Lucy better get her shit together.
- 43:46I just love honestly. I love.
- 43:48OK, it's a little bit of a spoiler, but I love, like, when
- 43:51she finally has had enough of Steven and she just, like, gives
- 43:55it back to him. Yeah.
- 43:56Like, you know what I mean? I'm like, girl, finally you're
- 43:58not the victim anymore. Like, then she like that pool
- 44:02scene. Yeah.
- 44:05That was crazy, that. Was that was like good job Lucy,
- 44:08but also then again, then right away he got her back.
- 44:12But even if you think about that scene like she's like doing too
- 44:15much like, you know? Like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:18That's true. Like I want Lucy to win.
- 44:20Like, she's very strong, but also like, I think she's like,
- 44:23met her match. Like, I think that's what it is,
- 44:25yeah. Yeah, I think so.
- 44:26Like they're low key perfect for each other.
- 44:28Honestly, yes, I know, toxic, but whatever, we're here for the
- 44:33toxicity. It's a show.
- 44:35I mean, it's not real life. It's fun because we're in very,
- 44:38like, healthy relationships. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:40It's fun to watch. Yeah.
- 44:42But I did. It's funny because I did have a
- 44:44relationship in the past that he reminds me of Steven.
- 44:47So I was like, oh, my gosh. And I feel like I was even
- 44:50Dumber than Lucy. So I'm like, who am I to judge?
- 44:53Because I would always, like, take him back.
- 44:56I was like, is this story about me?
- 44:58No, I'm just kidding. So yeah, we're super excited
- 45:02about that show. And then is there any other
- 45:04shows that like this girl? I told her to watch Vanderpump.
- 45:09She's obsessed. Changed my life, she.
- 45:11Never listens to me. And then when she finally
- 45:13listens to me, she's like, Oh my God, that's like the best show
- 45:16ever. No, I'm not even joking.
- 45:19I well, I finished that in like maybe like a couple months, like
- 45:222 months. Like all the seasons?
- 45:24There's like 11 seasons. Yeah, yeah.
- 45:25But also I put on three of my friends, 3 people, and they all
- 45:30said that I changed their lives. I'm not.
- 45:32Eating you. It's one of those shows.
- 45:34It's like, and imagine I watched this when I was like, literally
- 45:38growing up, like, as a party girl.
- 45:40Yeah. So I just, like, fit with the
- 45:42whole era. I just felt like Stassi's my
- 45:44girl. Like I wanted to be her then.
- 45:48OK don't like think this is very controversial but Katie also is
- 45:54one of my favorites. You know what?
- 45:57That those last two seasons, I'm like, yeah, damn, Katie was
- 46:02like, right this whole time. Yes, yeah, because I feel like
- 46:06everyone's so, like, in love with Tom Schwartz.
- 46:09Like he's super sweet. But you know what?
- 46:12Like that's a red flag because let's not forget he also threw
- 46:16drinks at his girlfriends face. Called her very bad name.
- 46:21That I hate the sound of your voice.
- 46:23Yeah, it's like, then why did you ask her to marry you?
- 46:25Crazy. And then everyone's like, oh, it
- 46:28was never meant to be. Well, no shit.
- 46:29It was never meant. To you know what, when she was
- 46:31like, I think he does love me, but I think he never liked me.
- 46:35That part I felt really bad for her because I was like, damn it,
- 46:39kind. Of like clicked for me.
- 46:40I think the producers just really gave her a bad edit like
- 46:43the whole show. Yeah, exactly.
- 46:47Yeah. And justice for Katie.
- 46:49Justice. And I feel like she really did
- 46:51get it in the end because Tom Sandoval hated her so much.
- 46:56Actually, I'm not going to lie, I watch Traitors is.
- 47:01He on it, OK. Last season, so yes, I watch
- 47:06Traitors. I hate to say it, but he kind of
- 47:08had this little redemption arc for me.
- 47:11I feel like that show does that though, like they pick the worst
- 47:13of the worst and then they give them like good edits or like
- 47:16he's funny and I know it's like a whole thing.
- 47:19I'm not very proud because Ariana, I love her and she's my
- 47:23girl, but it is what it is anyway, So all right, so I do
- 47:29want to ask you. So obviously now I'm a new mom,
- 47:34so this is like a new chapter for me.
- 47:36Like, do you think motherhood has changed me?
- 47:39How do you see me now? Wow.
- 47:42I feel like I'm going to say it. Well, yes, obviously I think it
- 47:49has changed you, but I would say like ever since you like bought
- 47:54your house and got married, I feel like that's when I noticed
- 47:57the shift because I feel like obviously you did like a lot of
- 48:00hard work, like putting making your house at home and like, you
- 48:03know, stuff like that. And so it like definitely made
- 48:07me see you in like a like a mature light.
- 48:10Like, she's an adult, you know, And then especially after Axel,
- 48:15I've literally just like, I mean, like he's literally your
- 48:18whole world and like. Yes.
- 48:20Yeah, like that's, that's what I want.
- 48:22Like, I think I was unsure about kids for a while, but like,
- 48:26after seeing you and like, yeah. Yeah, that's good.
- 48:31So I feel like, well, first of all, you know, I was always on
- 48:35the mend of like, even having kids, right?
- 48:37So I think that that's why I waited so long first.
- 48:42I'm really glad that who I had a kid with because I feel like I
- 48:45always say this, but it really does matter.
- 48:49I'm just glad I never had it with any of my exes because that
- 48:52would be. But yeah, so it really matters.
- 48:57And then another thing is like, that's really important to me.
- 48:59I don't know if it's because, like, I come from a big family.
- 49:01Maybe this will resonate with you too because you kind of come
- 49:04from one too. I am done after one.
- 49:09Like, I don't want like multiple kids.
- 49:12And I know that sounds awful because like, I just don't have
- 49:14the patience. Like I know my limits and I feel
- 49:18like now we're like a perfect little family.
- 49:20Like, because like we're complete.
- 49:22I don't need like another one. And yeah, like, I don't know, I
- 49:27think. That's valid, though.
- 49:28I feel like obviously Axel has like, the best life ever.
- 49:33But yeah, like I understand like, because like, having kids
- 49:36that are like, really close in age 2 is kind of hard because
- 49:39like, obviously one is always going to get more attention than
- 49:42the other. And it's not like, by choice.
- 49:44It just, like, happens. Yeah.
- 49:47So yeah, I'm, I think I, I mean, I want multiple kids.
- 49:52How many do you want? I want three, yeah.
- 49:55Well, my boyfriend's family is really notorious for having
- 49:58boys, but I really want a girl. So I think at three, if I don't
- 50:04have a girl, I I think I'm just going to like stop at that.
- 50:07Oh my God, three boys shoot me. If I get the girl first try,
- 50:12maybe I'll have one more. Yeah, honestly, yeah.
- 50:15But but yeah, honestly, like you are literally like I literally
- 50:22look up to you like so much now. Like like I know how my future
- 50:27should look and like, now I have expectations for that.
- 50:31And I feel like that's I've. Are you gonna cry?
- 50:36No, no. But I'm like, relax girl.
- 50:39Obviously. Let me just say really quick,
- 50:41sorry, but she's never this nice.
- 50:44I feel like she's putting up a front, but go ahead.
- 50:47Maybe a little no, no, but like I do really respect you and like
- 50:52I feel like obviously like all our parents are divorced and
- 50:56like whatever. And so like this is like a very
- 51:00good example for me of like healthy relationship and like
- 51:04how to work through like things. And like, I think one thing that
- 51:09I definitely learned is that like when you choose a partner.
- 51:12Yeah. Obviously if you can't handle
- 51:15each other. Sorry my.
- 51:17Like without a kid, without a house, like things that you
- 51:20don't have to worry about that will be added stresses going
- 51:23forward in your relationship. Like if you're already not like
- 51:26meshing or like, you know, like it's just not.
- 51:29It's just like the. Flag's already there, but you
- 51:31continue going. Exactly, like what do you think
- 51:34is going to happen once you have to pay a mortgage or like once
- 51:37you have to go and get a crying baby at the in the middle of the
- 51:40night? Like I think it's really
- 51:41important, like who you choose as your partner.
- 51:44For that very, very. And I always say that it's like
- 51:47with Randy, I mean, I've told you before, like he gets up to
- 51:51like change diapers, feed him. We have like a shift where it's
- 51:55like I go to sleep from like 9:00 PM to 2:00, then he goes to
- 51:59sleep from like 2 to the rest of the morning.
- 52:02And it's just like, if I didn't have that.
- 52:05I see why a lot of couples, like especially in the first year of
- 52:08having a baby, like argue all the time.
- 52:11I mean, I'm in mom groups that literally some of them are like,
- 52:14I hate my husband. I sometimes want to punch him in
- 52:18the face and it's just like, of course we're not perfect.
- 52:21We get in like little tis, but it's like I've never once been
- 52:25like I hate him so much. It's crazy.
- 52:27Like I'm just like and then like there's some moms are like this
- 52:31is an unpopular opinion, but I really love my husband.
- 52:35And it's like, that shouldn't be an unpopular opinion.
- 52:38I just see like if you already had so many red flags in the
- 52:42beginning, don't have a kid with somebody.
- 52:44It's just like, I feel like it's that simple.
- 52:46It's like, obviously things happen and there's not much, you
- 52:50know, like, sometimes you just can't avoid that.
- 52:52But if you already know going into it like this is red flag,
- 52:56just stop it right there. Yeah.
- 52:59It's just not for you because, like, what's the point of having
- 53:02a kid then later on getting divorced?
- 53:05Yeah. And then that kid just now has
- 53:07to, like, do everything separate.
- 53:09And I don't know. That's always been, like, one of
- 53:11my goals. I knew that like going forward,
- 53:14since I did come from a divorce family, I just wanted to make
- 53:18sure I picked the right person and that like, even if times got
- 53:22rough, we wouldn't just give up on each other.
- 53:25And I think that that also has to do with Randy because he came
- 53:28from a divorce, you know, parents as well.
- 53:33So we both kind of were like fighting for like, you know,
- 53:36it's not always easy, but like we know that like kind of like
- 53:39giving up is like our not even on the radar for us.
- 53:43It's like we'll like, yeah, we'll work it out until it's
- 53:47worked out. You know what?
- 53:48Yeah. Well, like people in happy
- 53:50marriages are always like, marriage is not like easy, but
- 53:54it's about like choosing, like choosing each other at the end
- 53:58of the day, no matter what. Yeah, exactly.
- 54:01And I think that this happens a lot too.
- 54:03When you first have a kid, you want to, especially if you have
- 54:07one kid, because I've noticed this.
- 54:08It's like sometimes I'll realize like, Oh my gosh, my whole life
- 54:11is Axel, but I have to remember like one day Axel is going to
- 54:16get older and he's going to create his own life and then
- 54:19what? I'm just going to end up hating
- 54:20my husband. It's like, no, like I want to
- 54:22build this life with my husband, make sure Axel has everything he
- 54:27needs and wants and then make memories with him and then
- 54:31eventually, like, I don't want to be like that mother that like
- 54:34is like obsessed with her son when he gets married, you know,
- 54:38it's like, no, I had my time with you.
- 54:41Now it's like time for you to grow up.
- 54:43And you know, so I just want to always be that.
- 54:46That's why I think I only want one because I can't put that
- 54:48much attention to like two kids. They drive me crazy.
- 54:51OK, Well, that's good that you're, yeah, you're aware.
- 54:53Yes, yeah. So people can stop asking me if
- 54:56I'm going to have another because the answer is no.
- 55:00There you go. Unless if you want to come over
- 55:01and babysit at 3:00 in the morning, then you're more than
- 55:04welcome. But if not, don't ask me.
- 55:06And I say that with love because everyone in my family asks me
- 55:10that. All right, so we're kind of
- 55:13going to wrap it up a little, but I have one more kind of like
- 55:20questionnaire thing. So what's let's talk about one
- 55:26thing that we love about each other and one thing that we hate
- 55:29about each other. I saved the juicy one for life.
- 55:33OK, All right. You want to go first?
- 55:35Yes. OK, I love that you have a big
- 55:39heart. OK.
- 55:40Yeah, I feel like obviously Sisterly Bond is like literally
- 55:45so special and like no other, you know, like you always like
- 55:50check on me and like obviously we like have lived so far away
- 55:53for like a while, like an hour drive basically.
- 55:57But like you still check up on me and I'll like text you and
- 56:00like I feel like I'm comfortable, like letting you
- 56:03know all of the details in my life.
- 56:04And I'm like, and I feel like you don't.
- 56:07Well, no, I think you do judge me sometimes, but you say it in
- 56:14a way that is constructive. And it's like, I like I'm
- 56:18feeling for you. And I just want you to know
- 56:20like, I'm here for you. Well, I always want the best for
- 56:23you. And sometimes wanting the best
- 56:25for someone is telling them the truth.
- 56:29Like the truth that sometimes they don't want to face.
- 56:32So I do it in the nicest way possible.
- 56:35But yeah, I do want the best for you always.
- 56:37Oh, thank you. Oh, my gosh.
- 56:39I think this little junkie is getting to me because I'm
- 56:42getting a little sentimental here.
- 56:45All right, Kate. I guess I'll go back to the
- 56:49emotional thing. See, Like, she's very loving.
- 56:53So loving. Big heart, am I too?
- 56:54Loving. I know what you're gonna say.
- 56:58What am I gonna say? They crash out of me.
- 57:00Yeah, sometimes my emotions get too high, yeah.
- 57:06Yeah, I think it's just we're very like opposite in the way of
- 57:11like if we're in a fight, I'll kind of like brush it off and be
- 57:15like, OK, whatever. Like I'll talk to you later.
- 57:17But she will want to kind of like resolve not, not, I don't
- 57:21even know if she wants to resolve it, but she wants to
- 57:22address it like right then and there.
- 57:24Yeah. And I'm just kind of like not
- 57:27I'm just not with it. Like I'm just like, I'll I just
- 57:30want to let you cool down, whatever.
- 57:31But she's like heated and then she gets even more mad that I'm
- 57:34like too calm about it, you know, yes, and then she's like,
- 57:37but you started this like, why are you not mad?
- 57:39Why are you not as mad as me? But you started.
- 57:41Literally. I will say, yeah, that's
- 57:44probably, it's like a hate, but I think it's also like we have
- 57:48very high highs and then we have very extreme like fights, you
- 57:52know, but I think that's just like part of it.
- 57:55Yeah, I feel like that's part of like being siblings and just
- 57:58having like that relationship because we do know each other
- 58:02really. Really well, like I know how to
- 58:04get. Yeah, exactly.
- 58:06And I know how to get under hers.
- 58:07So, and to be honest, like, I don't know, I feel like this is
- 58:12like a part of me sometimes I feel like this is so toxic to
- 58:17say, but I feel like sometimes it makes me like laugh getting
- 58:20under people's skin. And I don't know, like, it's
- 58:24always been like a thing of mine.
- 58:26Like sometimes I'll say like little things that I know are
- 58:28gonna like, piss people off and like, deep down it just like
- 58:32makes me laugh. Yeah, I feel like that's a
- 58:34little toxic, but love that. Love that.
- 58:38But all right, so to you. So I love our relationship now.
- 58:45Of course I love. She's such a good auntie to
- 58:48Axel. Oh, my gosh.
- 58:50Like, I remember the first time she was a little scared to hold
- 58:53him. Yeah, but that's because, like,
- 58:55we haven't really had babies around us since, like, Jonathan
- 58:58and Jaden. And they're old as hell now, by
- 59:01the way. No, we're old because we're
- 59:03Unks. We are.
- 59:04That's another generation. What is he?
- 59:07Who? Alpha, Jonathan.
- 59:11No, I think. He's no, he's no he's.
- 59:13He's like right off the cut off maybe, yeah.
- 59:15So he's alpha because I know my son is beta or some crap.
- 59:20Yeah, I don't know. Yeah.
- 59:22Anyways, so we haven't had babies since then.
- 59:26I was even scared to hold him. But like, after that, like,
- 59:29she's so good. She always, like, asked about
- 59:31Axel. I text in the group, like,
- 59:33pictures of him almost every day because, you know, I just want
- 59:37you guys to have a really good relationship.
- 59:40I feel like, with my aunt, I love her so much, but she's
- 59:43like, really far. So it's like a hard thing.
- 59:47Like, I don't always see her. She's super busy now.
- 59:50But, you know, I always looked up to her.
- 59:52So I want, like, that relationship with you and Axel.
- 59:55Me too, yeah. And then the thing that I hate,
- 59:59honestly, it's so funny that you said that about the fighting
- 1:00:01because I hate that. Like, sometimes like we're in a
- 1:00:05group chat and like she says something like, so wild.
- 1:00:10I'm just not going to come. Like, I plan, OK.
- 1:00:12Like, for example, Christmas, that drove me nuts.
- 1:00:16I literally cried because I'm the type of person that goes all
- 1:00:20out. For like decorations, food,
- 1:00:23like, you know, I had been planning everything and then I
- 1:00:26told her the time and she's like, I can't make it at that
- 1:00:28time, can I come later? And I was like, that's kind of
- 1:00:31Axel's like bedtime. So it's hard.
- 1:00:35And then I was like, no, I can't change it.
- 1:00:37And she's like, OK, well, I'm not just coming.
- 1:00:38I'm just not going to come. I'm like, what the hell, Like.
- 1:00:44OK, see we have two different perspective on perspectives.
- 1:00:47Sure. What do you think happened?
- 1:00:49I think what happened was, I think obviously I was at fault,
- 1:00:53but obviously you're already stressed like this is your first
- 1:00:56time. Hosting.
- 1:00:57Yeah, yeah. And with a baby and with a lot.
- 1:01:01So I think what happened was I was like, I have to go to my
- 1:01:05dad's house and I have to come here.
- 1:01:07So do you want me to come early or do you want me to come late?
- 1:01:09Like which shift do you want you to do?
- 1:01:12And I think she just was so stressed that she didn't really
- 1:01:15have time to or like capacity to even like think about my that's
- 1:01:18my issue, you know what I mean? Yeah, I'm just gonna really
- 1:01:20comprehend her side. OK, I never said I wasn't
- 1:01:24coming, you told. Me if you.
- 1:01:26Can't make the time? Then just don't come.
- 1:01:30I have the text but I'm not even going to pull it up because
- 1:01:34that's a lie. She literally was like, I'm not
- 1:01:36coming then and then that was the end of the.
- 1:01:39Time because she told me not to come.
- 1:01:40I was like, OK, then I won't come.
- 1:01:42Anyways, I showed up. That might have happened.
- 1:01:44Actually, that part actually might have happened.
- 1:01:46And you were like, OK, I'm not coming.
- 1:01:48Yeah, but honestly, like, obviously she, I didn't need to
- 1:01:52ask her. I should have just like decided
- 1:01:53on my own, like, yeah, not made her think about it.
- 1:01:55Yeah. Anyways, I came anyways.
- 1:01:57And yeah, yeah, yeah. We started off the day with like
- 1:01:59a fight in the kitchen and then it was fine.
- 1:02:01It was fine. We fight all the time, but it's
- 1:02:04like we're sisters at the end of the day.
- 1:02:06So those fights aren't aren't like if it was a friend fighting
- 1:02:10with me, like I wouldn't ever hold it against her.
- 1:02:13Like I'm not gonna laugh about it.
- 1:02:14Like, yeah, no, no, nothing like that.
- 1:02:17But actually, I do apologize because I feel like obviously,
- 1:02:21again, coming from a child of divorce, I did have to make
- 1:02:25those decisions too. Like because and especially like
- 1:02:27my parents, we don't have the same dad, but my parents, they
- 1:02:31live so freaking far from each other, Newport and LA.
- 1:02:36And it's like, yeah, it's not that far.
- 1:02:37But if you have to drive on Christmas or Thanksgiving.
- 1:02:40But you're coming all the way from.
- 1:02:42Yeah. And then I would be coming all
- 1:02:43the way from Simi. So it's like then I would have
- 1:02:45to like decide. And I kind of was like, well,
- 1:02:48I've made the decision. Can't you just decide on your
- 1:02:50own? That was kind of kind of like my
- 1:02:51whole spiel, but you know. We're.
- 1:02:55I know there's this plant in the way.
- 1:02:59All right, so we are going to kind of wrap it up.
- 1:03:03I hope you guys had a really good time with us.
- 1:03:06This was my first YouTube episode and I'm so excited.
- 1:03:09I had my little sister as my guest.
- 1:03:13And what do you think? How do you think it went?
- 1:03:15I think it went amazing. I think I did a great job.
- 1:03:17I. OK, relax.
- 1:03:20So anyways, I do want to say, you know, this is my first
