- 0:55SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Steph.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Now let's jump in.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: All right, I've got polo polo polo.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: Dr.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Polo back in the house today.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: I thought this would be really fun is to kind of look under the hood and share with you guys my blood work.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And rolling the drum roll, please.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: I've kind of gamified my blood work in the sense of like I take it really, really seriously.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: About a year and a half ago when I had kind of my issues with my toxin levels and just my antioxidants were really high and I had a kidney infection, all this stuff was going on.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: If I had done more regular blood work, I would have caught some stuff earlier.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: So now I do a really large panel, probably twice a year, more than twice a year.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: I did one in May and I just did one um a couple weeks ago.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: So maybe I'm now doing it, I don't know, once a quarter.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: But what I found was Polo and I went and we compared my blood work from May with my blood work that I just took and what's better and what's working, and we as we can really say what peptides helped it work, what supplements, what I'm working on, and what peptides are helping and supplements support it, what lifestyle, all the things.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Because at Loop we have, and we're gonna dive into just our blood work and we do it at cost.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: It's the same back end um back end as function.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: And then when you get it back, you've got doctors and coaches and people to really help you navigate kind of what it all looks like as it comes out.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: Our AI system's great and it kind of maps everything out, what it wants to look like in the optimal levels, and then you have a coach or doctor kind of work with you on that.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: So, no further ado, Polo, let's get into it today.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: What I'm excited about is just kind of sharing my journey because it hasn't, I mean, you know, I mean, last May, not this past May, but the year before, so like a year and a half ago, I was in a pretty bad place with my antioxidant levels.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: If you can remember, I was fighting that kidney infection, and it was just, I had a lot of upwork battle to do, even though I might have looked healthy and a lot of things were working.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: There was a lot of things we had to work on.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I was working on my gut, and then I was working on this.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: So let's kind of fast forward to this May, kind of a year later, I did more blood work.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: And then when I did my blood work again at the end of September, we did something really fun.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And we compared my May blood work with my basically October blood work and saw what is working, what's not working.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: And we're gonna walk you through because I thought it was such an interesting experience to go through.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: And I just think you guys, it is so important for everybody.
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna preach this to get their blood work done at least twice a year, two big panels.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: And ideally, I think Paula would agree, once a quarter, especially if you're checking your hormones and other things that you're working on, knowledge is power, and there's so much you can learn from from your blood work.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Because once you start having the symptoms of something, usually something's been going on in your body for a long time.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: So by doing regular blood work, you can also get ahead of it.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: So, what we did was making, you know, at loop health, I wanted to create an ecosystem where everything lives under one umbrella.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So we have the exact same health, the blood panels as function health and the same back end.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: And then Polo took it a step further and created all these little side subpanels.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: So it's easy to put together if you want to kind of create your own blood panel on things that you want to test for, like your thyroid or your inflammation markers, or what else, your protein levels.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: So there's different things you can all put all together.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: And then you can go to Quest, you can go to Lab Corp, or I had a lobotomist actually come to my house, which is really cool at 615 and draw nine vials of blood.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: So no further ado, Polo's here.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: Welcome back again, Polo.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: You're like night resident doctor on the podcast.
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: And we're gonna take you, we're gonna kind of take what I put on my Substack and really dive into some of this blood work's work so you guys can understand how if you did this, it how it would work.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: Uh hey, thanks for having me, Miss Stephanie.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: Hi guys, for those of you who don't know me, my name is Polo.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Um, my role here at Loop um Loop Help is um education and you know, kind of like um, you know, not practicing, but um kind of like guiding and like um educating on maybe what's the best approach to kind of like um lead your own health and you know work together um with your with your doctor as well.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: So um I I love biomarkers, I love education, I love medicine, um, which is I mean why I went to med school and why I want to proceed with my career as well.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: Um so yeah, let's get to it.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: So with Miss Stephanie, um we she's pretty adamant about getting her labs, which is good.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: I think quarterly, um, if possible, if you're able to do your blood work quarterly, I think that's great.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: If not, you know, at least twice a year, but um, especially if you're on like different therapies, hormones, supplements, you know, peptides, you name it, um, I think there should be a more um consistent check.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: Um and uh, you know, some things move, some things don't, some things move slower.
- 5:49SPEAKER_01: Um, whatever you've done to your body over the years or however long it took you to get to where you're at or how you're feeling, you know, it takes some time, so it's gonna take some time to repair as well.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: So um some things like I mentioned, you can track with blood work and other things, well, sometimes it's subjective, it just depends.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: Um there's probably experts out there, you know, who are gonna be like, no, no, yeah, you can check everything.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: Okay, cool.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: I don't know, right?
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: That's why I'm here to to continue learning.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: Um, so uh very interesting things, you know, going through her labs that yeah, you know, she goes through with her doctor as well.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Um one big thing that you know she was worried, or you know, everybody worries when they see something off.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: Um she really had a big like detox issue um last time uh that she had brought it up to me with some labs that she had done.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: And you know, we're kind of just going back and forth, and I just kind of would explain like, well, this is what detox pathway is.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: Um, these are different reasons, maybe, you know, from my understanding that could this could be affected, and you know, how do you enact on that?
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: So, of course, doing research, we kind of you know proceeded with that.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: Um, she, you know, embarked on using like glutathione and some inocetylcysteine as well, some NAC supplements, um, and uh not having a decent uh detox pathway.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: I think one thing that was affected um what was her liver enzymes, you know, medications, um diseases, stressors on the body, alcohol, you know, there's different things that could affect um your liver enzymes, but she did have um somewhat elevated last time, and uh over the last couple of months of kind of like you know, being proactive, doing implementing some of these changes, helping detox, you know, her liver enzymes actually dropped.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: So that's pretty pretty fascinating to see.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Um I also think uh very subjective um from what Miss Stephanie was saying last time, she was very tired, you know, not um feeling her best, and you know, she was going through kind of like um where she had her infection or and whatnot, and it was running her down.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: And you did see that in her white count um as well, and she did run some peptides to kind of help that um help out in that area in that department.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: Um so you know, working on that together, it kind of just started to put to put itself together, she started to feel better, improving detox pathways, um, potentially, you know, your cells are working better, um, and then you know, improvements in energy as well, improvements in immunity with um, I believe she used some sinus and alpha one.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: So um those were kind of like the main things seen on there.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: Oh well, there were some other things that we could get to eventually, but uh I I think um that's one thing she was really happy about.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: And um, so how are you feeling?
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: Do you have more energy?
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I feel great.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: What I feel much better.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm just finishing my mitochondria resec.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: I'm in my last bottle of my um, I'm on my last bottle of mozzie.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: So I clearly should have taken my uh CMAX this morning, but I'm in my last bottle of um, I've got one more um dosage of my mozzie, which I'm bummed because I I actually love you know that I like I love my reset.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: It makes me feel so good.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: And I'll then I'll jump back on my NAD and I'm gonna get on um Five Amino and Sloop.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: It's kind of my plan for my next for my next cycle.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: But I I think what worked really well for me, and let's I think I'd love if you wouldn't mind going through like maybe list the positive, you know, a couple things that went better and what peptides I was using and supplements that I was using.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: I think it's really, really interesting because you know, it let's see, it was May, June, July, August.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: So it's like five months later.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: And not only do I feel better, but a lot of my numbers went a lot better.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: Um, and then I will we'll talk about some other things that I'm working on, which is like we're all, I mean, 51, we're work in progress.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: But I to be able to correlate your blood work with some peptides, I think is really interesting, especially when I have been on peptides for like three years now and they're still working in certain areas.
- 9:47SPEAKER_00: So why don't we walk through that?
- 9:48SPEAKER_00: Because I thought that was fascinating.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so um, you know, one main or big nutrient that kind of uh people look at um is vitamin D, or some people like forget about vitamin D, um which has a lot to do, you know, with immunity, bone health, um a couple different aspects um there.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: But uh seeing like your vitamin D level, you were I believe you were at like 63.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, the cutoff is 2930.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: I think maybe you should be a little bit higher in the 60s.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Nowhere in the hundreds, of course.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: Um, so that's kind of saying, hey, like, you know, you're supplementing, you're supplementing, yeah, what you're supplementing with is keeping you um in that decent uh range up there, and um you you're actively absorbing nutrients, which is great.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: Some people can supplement and um they're they're not they're not absorbing properly.
- 10:42SPEAKER_01: So, you know, you using you know peptides that help decrease inflammation, maybe like a BPC, I believe you've been on, on and off, some KPV.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: This does help decrease inflammation, particularly.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: I mean whole body, of course, um, but uh, you know, as well in the gut and uh decrease inflammation in the gut, you know, better absorption.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: So that's actually one thing you could see there.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Um, like I mentioned earlier, you know, you you were struggling with your with your immunity, you were a little bit sick, um, your white count was a little low, you were you know biting something off.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: So thymus and Apple 1, you know, jumped in um and uh kind of helped you in that aspect, which I I think it's it's what's different for me now too, Polo, that I've done is and I talked about this is I pretty much I stand TA1 and um my god, my brain is not working.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: KPV today.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: I stand I TA1 and KPV on a regular basis.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: I mean I do cycle off, but then I get right back on.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: So I I really focus on using those two on a regular basis, where I everything else I kind of, you know, in different quarters I'll do different things, but I I stay on those two outside of the one month off.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: And I think that has played a really, really big role in my gut health and my immunity, like for sure.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: You know, and I think those are two peptides that as um as um you know, maybe like more acceptance or this category approval switch um happens or you know, whatever.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: Um, I I think you'll start to see maybe uh where people start using maybe potentially use these for longer periods of time, um, just depending on the practitioner, of course, um or the recommendations.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying use it for a longer time, of course.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: You know, speak to whoever um is handling that for you, but uh it you know depends from use case to use case.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: Um I know some people are scared to to come off on like, oh well that's because I feel so great.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: And it's like, well, okay, we'll analyze, you know, assess how you're feeling on your your um your month off or whatever your cycle is and uh go from there.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: Uh we as humans like to get scared, or we like to, you know, we get in our heads.
- 12:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, they think in more is better.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, more is not always better, and like, oh my gosh, I'm so scared to get off of this.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm gonna go back to you know normal.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: Well, no, like we have you know, reassess, you know, if your baseline improved, see if you are uh more resilient than you were before.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: Um one so coming up that then before, you know, you've always had um decent uh metabolic health.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: You know, your fasting glucose was great, your hemoglobin A1C is well.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Um, I love fasting insulin.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: I think it says a lot.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: I think I'm so like obsessed with it because it's like something that I've figured out myself, you know, some time ago when I started getting too big into biomarkers that was off.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: Um, and you know, telling me a story about my own metabolic health.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: So I think it's something very important for everybody else.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: You know, yours are great, they're stable, and I think it's your life.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: Do you think it's also like from a microdose of a GLP?
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: That since I'm 51.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, 100.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, 100%.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: You know, it is lifestyle, it is you know what you eat, but sometimes that's not enough.
- 13:52SPEAKER_01: And I I do believe, I mean, that's what a GLP one is, you know, initially what they were for for um that optimal blood sugar control and diabetics, type two diabetics.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Um, but I believe the microdose is potentially what's helping you um have or you know, that that um decent metabolic health, um, as well as like 5 amino 1 and Q.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Um 5 amino 1 and Q, you know, does help prevent the breakdown of NAD, so you know, more NAD readily available to be used.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: But um I believe there is uh some mechanism to it where it does help absorb glucose um as well into the into the muscle um and uh it you know be used instead of it like lingering around.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: So um, you know, the there's a potential there with both of those.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean those a molecule not discovered peptide and TLP ones, well, those are peptides, uh class of them, but there is a potential with those helping you out there 100%.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: I I wouldn't knock it off.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: I also want to make something very clear for everybody is that I like I just I we talked about I mean I'm not gonna talk about my dexascan again because people are so sick of me talking about my dexascan because I'm gonna get another one, I'm sure it's not gonna be even that good.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: But you can be on a microdose of a GLP and not lose weight.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: I think that's a very, and you can put on muscle.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: I think that's a very important um thing to drive home today is that my weight literally is exactly the same.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: It doesn't, it doesn't fluctuate.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: I mean, it fluctuates like a woman in one or two pounds, but for the most part, I could be on vacation or I could be here.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: My weight pretty much metabolically, I'm very sound.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: It pretty much stays within a couple pounds.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: Like that's normal for a woman.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: And the GLP does not make me lose weight.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: I have no side effects.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: And so I think the blood work, guys, is really important to understand when you're on a microdose of a GLP, even if you're not losing weight and you want to lose weight, look at your blood work because you're gonna see your markers get so much better.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: So that should make you excited.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: And we can play with another things to try to help you start to lose some weight, but there's a lot of other reasons why to be in a microdose of a GLP, and the blood work will show you all those reasons.
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: You know, and and you know, blood work's amazing.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: It's a form of biomarkers, and I'm really big into them.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: I think they're extremely important.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: But um, you know, a body composition, a DEXA scan, or using like a bioimpedance scale, like uh Hume Health, or maybe an embody scale at your gyms, or if you have the luxury of owning one as well, that's awesome.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: Um, I think they're important because um, yeah, a lot of us are myself included, uh, when we want to get on the GOP, it's like, oh, I want to lose these, you know, 5, 10, 15, 20, you know, you name it pounds.
- 16:29SPEAKER_01: Um and yes, okay, cool.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: I I don't think the number is important.
- 16:35SPEAKER_01: You gotta gauge yourself somehow, but it's not that important.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: I feel like it's more of how you feel, how your clothes fits, um, you know, your confidence, and overall, like I mentioned, how you feel.
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: But one thing to to keep in mind, it's not about yes, losing this weight.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: There is the number, but it's about assessing how much um fat we have, uh, how much visceral fat you have, you know, fat around your organs.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: Um, and okay, cool, the number goes down on the scale, you know, your pounds go down, but did was it fat?
- 17:02SPEAKER_01: Did that go down, or was it your muscle?
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: And you know, muscle is key to longevity, you know, as we age at any age, you need muscle.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: Muscle is key in metabolic health as well.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: So this is I'm glad you brought up your Dexis guy, even though I know you mentioned you always bring it up, but it's important.
- 17:18SPEAKER_01: It's important.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: I need to do another one.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I need it's time to do another one because I think it is important.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: It's been five months.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: You know, it's interesting.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: I was hearing someone on the um on social media talking about just an alarming bodies that he's seeing at the gym and just like these really, really shrinking human beings, especially women, just wanting to kind of have these like long, skinny arms and skinny, skinny, skinny.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I kind of want to challenge him too, is I do feel like I'm seeing a lot more women too saying like strong over skinny and like lifting weights and progressive overload.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: And it's coming from the middle-aged woman where like we do not have the, I'm sorry, speaking for myself, and your mother Pillow, because your mother's my age.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't have the luxury of not having muscle at my age at 51.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: If I want to be metabolically sound and I want to be safe, like I fell running the other day, and I thought to myself, oh my gosh, if I didn't have strong bone density, I would have broken my wrists, I would have broken my hip, I'd have been a mess.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: And so just reminding everybody just the importance to put muscle on and keep muscle on and feed your body.
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: And like, I hope this heroin-cheek, skinny look goes away because I do feel like it's when you see it, guys, don't be afraid of the GLP.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: It's just somebody really, really abusing it and liking that look of being skinny.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: And I'm telling you, down the road, it is going to have so many issues with your metabolic rate because you can't say that forever, right, Polo?
- 18:44SPEAKER_00: You can't starve yourself.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: And also you're gonna, it's gonna affect your bone density.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: So when you get the DEXA scan, you could probably be skinny fat, is what you're gonna see.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: And you can have a lot of visceral fat around your organs, and also your bone density is going to get more and more brittle.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: You'll see osteoporosis, all these other things.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: So it really is important to like watch your blood work, to get DEXA scan, and to use peptides where there is a litmus test.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: More is not better.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: I think that's a very important thing.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: You want to have the biggest results with the left, the least amount of peptide, right?
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: And so low and slow is kind of our formulation.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: And and just, you know, be patient.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: I think that's the word, right, Paul, that I want to say.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Like, even my blood work, it's probably taken me a year and a half to get the blood work that I have this time that I was really, even though I was still working on things that we'll get into.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: But I'm really proud of a lot of these markers because it took dedication.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: You know, it took me listening to you guys, it took me taking my supplements that I don't want to necessarily take at night to be very consistent.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: So I, you know, I every Sunday I'm making my little pill case and I don't like supplements, but I just ordered$450 of them through you, pet polo, because I'm still on the journey to heal other parts of my body that I waited too long to get blood work on to figure out what's going on.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna hammer that home, guys.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: Knowledge is power, and your blood work tells you way more than how you feel.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, consistency is key.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: I agree there.
- 20:11SPEAKER_01: And uh knowledge is power, like you mentioned.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: I I I think um you know, I I think that's one of the problems with um, I don't like to bash on the health system or anything like that, or any doctors or anybody like that.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: I'm nobody to, you know, to to do that.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: I'm in no position to do that.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: And even if I was the director of whatever for the United States, like I still wouldn't do that.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: I I I I think you know, we have to uh, you know, as a future provider, um, you know, continue educating yourself and what's best for for your own health, my own health, my family's health, and of course patients' clients' health as well.
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: Um it's not about using everything, using every supplement known to man, every supplement that um these biohackers and all these you know gurus use, like that that's what you know, these people are tracking their own things maybe behind their scenes.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: I would, I would, I would think so, right?
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Um and uh they're using that for them, which yeah, it could you know potentially benefit you, but how do you know?
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: One, okay, cool, subjectively, like let's see you feel great.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: But two, I mean, you have to have some sort of tracking.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: Are are your biomarkers getting better?
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: Is your muscle mass going up?
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: Is it increasing?
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: Are you absorbing these nutrients properly?
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: So I I I'm really, you know, like I like to go on the evidence-based side or kind of like seeing something actually, you know, work or see some improvements, aside from just saying, Oh, yeah, I feel better.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: Well, and also a lot of people like.
- 21:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and if you're spending a lot of money on peptides and supplements, you should know if they're working, guys.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: Like at the end of the day, I'm open and open book.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: That's why I'm going with my blood work with you all, but I'm saying, like, don't be afraid, don't shy away, especially women on hormones.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: Like, we can kind of get into my hormones.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: I'm about three weeks late.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: For my pellet, because of my travel, and it's my doctor is so hard to get into.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: And I feel it.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: And so my blood work showed it.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Why don't we talk about my hormones a little bit?
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Um, no, not everyone loves the pellet.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: I it's worked for me.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: I'm now going to switch and I'm going to supplement with some estrogen topically.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: But I have been working with my pellet on my testosterone, and I do my um estrogen in there every other month, or every, I think every other pellet.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: And then I do my progesterone in a pill.
- 22:27SPEAKER_00: But let's talk about that a little bit, Polo.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I think I think pellet, every any hormone replacement, I think it's great.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: You know, go with your specialist, see what's most appropriate for you.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Um it's completely necessary, of course, in perimenopausal menopausal women and men, men as well, um, with low T.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: Uh, but anyways, so yeah, you're so last time you had did labs, your esterdial was at around 90.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: Um, and then you know, now on this recheck recently, you were at, you know, down to 26.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: I know I believe that is going to be like within the range for a normal female, but yeah, you know, I'm not a hormone specialist, but from what I'm seeing and reading, uh a lot of these uh hormone specialists are running uh you know, females, women higher estrogen levels, which has them feeling has them feeling you know better, uh, you know, less fatigue, less brain fog, um, less hair thinning, you know, less skin changes, that crepiness is not there.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: Um, and I I I believe uh if you you know for some reason have been feeling a little bit tired, even though you were better than last time, it's not the same type of fatigue.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: I think it has to do to your pellet, you know, you're a little bit past two weeks of pellet.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: So that that has a lot to do.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: Your testosterone dipped a little bit as well.
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: Um same reason the pellet fades.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Uh, you gotta get back in on in time.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: And I like high and I like high testosterone.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: I like high testosterone too.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: So like I feel the difference not being over 100.
- 23:57SPEAKER_00: Like I like being over 100, but that's just me.
- 23:59SPEAKER_00: I'm not telling anyone else to be that way.
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: I personally feel good that way.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that's like that's also another thing that's like very subjective.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: There is like these like ranges, the lower ranges or you know, mid-ranges that are good or established for testosterone for for women, but um, some women, you know, I've talked to different people, you know, yourself included, and oh, I'm in you know, the hundreds last time you were like in the hundreds, and you're like, I feel great, and I'm like that's awesome, you know, that's great.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: Um, so uh it's also how you feel and making sure you are um you know on on this journey um, you know, safely with your with somebody uh watching you.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: And you know, there's no other, you know, safe way than of course how you feel, but testing with biomarkers.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: But yeah, you got I bring my blood work into her every time.
- 24:47SPEAKER_00: We talk about it, we adjust every time I just want to let my progesterone.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: So I just think, ladies, it's really, really important.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: It's like unfortunately, the the hard part about hormones is they're ever changing, right?
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: So you're having some months that are better than other months, and it's just it's our age, unfortunately, but getting on top of it and understanding it.
- 25:05SPEAKER_00: And I have friends who the pellet is horrible.
- 25:07SPEAKER_00: It does not work for them, they hate it.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: And then I have other friends like me who absolutely love it.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Like with my lifestyle, it works for me.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: And the higher testosterone, a couple things why I like it.
- 25:18SPEAKER_00: I my energy is great on it, and I find that it allows me to put a muscle.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Like my body composition changed a lot when I also had more testosterone.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: I had four when I first got tested at Polo, which is crazy.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: Um, but so but everyone's different, and that's why you can't say what you know Sally does or what I do is what you should do.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: So just make sure you're constantly getting your blood work done and testing it.
- 25:42SPEAKER_00: And unfortunately, because sometimes like if you're really having to dial your hormones in, you're getting your testing every single week to figure out where you are.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: So don't be afraid to really dive down and figure out what works with you.
- 25:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you know, if something, if you're not feeling well, like I said, I'm no hormone specialist at all, but you know, even if I was or I was, you know, and if I was, um one day hopefully I will be there.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: But um, I would expect my patient or you know, to come to me and say, like, hey, uh, you know, it's been two months, three months.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: Uh the numbers maybe say this, but I don't feel well or I don't like how I'm responding to this.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, be open about how you feel.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying, you know, go complain about every single little thing, right?
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: But like, you know, be reasonable.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: But if something's off and you don't feel okay, one, you're paying for it.
- 26:32SPEAKER_01: Two, I mean, hey, it's your body.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, you you should you should feel good.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: I I don't under I don't understand why somebody's gonna do that.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: So don't ever think then that goes back to also we talk with polopeptides.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: You know, there's I love MOTC.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: I have zero reactions, I love it.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: I can take, you know, a big injection of it, I'm fine.
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: I've got friends who have histamine responses who wish they could take it.
- 26:54SPEAKER_00: I can't take, you know, CJC.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: So everyone, you know, it you can't just, and this is what frustrates me a little bit when people go to a dinner party and they just want to go on a stack that they're friends on.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: You know, that might not be what your body needs based on both your blood work and then how your body's reacting to the peptide.
- 27:11SPEAKER_00: So, like that's really also important.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: Let's check what other interesting markers were going in a great direction.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: Let's talk about the positive before we talk about some of the negative stuff.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: Um, I think, you know, the more importantly, the it was, you know, your nutrient absorption.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: Oh, you know, touching on nutrients, um, your methylation, you know, uh pathway or kind of assessing what how you can assess methylation with blood work.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, homocysteine uh was great, your B12 goalate was great, all normal.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, you are on your methylated D vitamins, you're adamant about this, um, which is great.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: Uh, you are absorbing well, and you can see that uh because you you know you did a micronutrient uh B vitamin panel.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: So you could see that, which is great.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Um, you know one is testing in two, of course, you know, sourcing uh a good a good um supplement brand.
- 28:04SPEAKER_01: There's many, there's thousands of supplement brands out there.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: Uh just careful where you source, it's with like with everything, of course.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: Well, and that's what I think with with our full script and and working with you.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: I it's like I feel really it comes every month, it's easy.
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: You know, my my probiotic needs to be refrigerated, it comes in a cold pack.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: I just what I do like, and I've had to work on this.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: Like I think you and I, I had because I had three different doctors at one point, so I had so many supplements, and so I literally combined my three full scripts into one, and then I went and threw away so much stuff.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: And now I feel like it's simplified, I know what I'm doing, and then it makes me excited for my next round of lead work, which I'll probably do in the new year, to see what's what's working.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: So why don't we switch gears a little bit, Polo, and let's talk about what I'm working on.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so one thing that um you are working on, you know, you did have um previous uh so this time you tested it.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure what um form, I think it was like a nutrival, or I can't remember the exact same uh test you did last time.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: Mercury was a little bit elevated.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: Um it's nothing crazy.
- 29:10SPEAKER_01: Um this time you did a blood serum, you know, with Quest, um, and it was a little bit higher than last time, but you know, two or three points higher.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: So one, it could be, you know, the lab differentiation, how they're measuring.
- 29:24SPEAKER_01: Um, or two, maybe you are being exposed.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't think that's the case.
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: I think it's just a little bit lab differentiation there, but there was no improvement there.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: So, you know, and I've always like my dad, my whole family lived growing up in Hawaii, has high Mercury.
- 29:39SPEAKER_00: And it's interesting, and I talk about this too, is could I go and do a big detox for Mercury?
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: But I'm choosing not to.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: And I'm choosing not to only because, like, there's a little bit of a pick your battle.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: Maybe at one time, one day I'm gonna say, Oh, I want to focus on that.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: It's just, it's for me right now.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: It's like, okay, no, I have it, check it off.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: Maybe one day I will, but that would overwhelm me where I am in my life.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm not in a place that I I can take that on.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: And so I think it's also important for people to know just because you get certain lab results doesn't mean you've got to go and fix everything because that can be very overwhelming, right?
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: So we know this, Paul and I have marked it.
- 30:15SPEAKER_00: I've known this for years.
- 30:16SPEAKER_00: I the first time I got a hair, a hair test, and by the way, they took so much hair out, I was so mad.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: But I've known I've had high mercury forever.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: So is it something one day maybe I should address?
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe we'll see.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: I think you know, if um if it dramatically increases or if you see no improvement there, but um uh assessing or you know, improving your your your detox pathways, this you know, theoretically should help there, um, unless you're actively being um exposed to something.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: But like you mentioned, you you were raised in Hawaii, um, Ivan they could have you know an impact there.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: Um one thing that um is not so positive, which is normal, um and not that it's normal, but it happens in a lot of people, and it's usually those like skinny, you know, pretty fit looking person.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: Um is your cholesterol?
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: So LDL went up, your total cholesterol went up.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: Um, and um it's uh it's a family thing that you have.
- 31:13SPEAKER_01: I believe your father does have, or your brother, I think.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure.
- 31:17SPEAKER_00: They all do, we all have high cholesterol.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, your your whole family does have a high cholesterol.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: So um I think it's important to you know assess like of course the standard, you know, panel, total cholesterol, you know, LDLHCL, all of that, but more importantly, um look at an LP little A at least once, lipoprotein A.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: Um, this this is uh your way of assessing, at least once, you know, check it.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: This is not something you should keep rechecking.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: It doesn't, it can move.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying it can't.
- 31:47SPEAKER_01: Um most of the time it doesn't move, and this kind of just tells you, okay, yeah, you do have some sort of you know genetic um cholesterol issue here.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: Um yours is is significantly high.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: Um and also apolipoprotein B.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: You know, you're at 121.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: I think Apo B is a great way of assessing a little bit deeper than an LDL, um, assessing, you know, what could potentially be building up um within your vascular system.
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: Um surprisingly, you know, yours did go up, um, even though you have great metabolic markers, um, like you know, you're fast insulin, your uh your weight is great, you don't have you know any excessive fat on you on your body either, and you're active.
- 32:29SPEAKER_01: So what does this say?
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: This is a collapse this is a family thing.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: So one of course keep doing what you're doing, but two, you know, start looking into other, you know, you know, therapies out there.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: It could be peptides, it could be supplements, um, optimizing this in a way because it I don't mean to be morbid, but this is when it happens when you know a middle-aged male or female, you know, dies suddenly in their 50s or 40s, you know, they oh they were so healthy and whatever, and no, it was their time to go.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: No, they probably had some plaque buildup and you know, dislodge, and you know, there we go.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: So, what's the what's the scan that you said I should take?
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: Is it cle what is it called again?
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so it's called a clearly scan.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.
- 33:14SPEAKER_01: So it's uh yeah, I you should, I think you should you know speak to your your ordering provider about it.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: Um I I think it's a good and I I feel like eventually it's maybe something that um will be assessed readily, you know, for preventative health measures.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: Um it's basically a coronary uh CT calcium score.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: Um and then clearly the company they use um their own AI um and uh they assess the type of plaque that you have building up.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: And based off the type of plaque, um you decide, you know, if to uh you know, some sort of intervention is appropriate, um, you know, throwing in statins, uh Rapatha.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: You know, there's different options out there.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: Um, or maybe you're you don't have you know the dangerous type of plaque.
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: So I think that's a really um a really good idea.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm gonna I think I'm gonna start there.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: I tried ATX and it gave me anxiety, but I think it's only because I took two in the morning on an empty stomach.
- 34:11SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna try it again and I'm gonna try to take one in the morning and then one like maybe right after lunch and see if I can maybe have because I I do know ATX is supposed to really help reduce cholesterol.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: So I don't want to give up on it.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: I want to think maybe it was just a time period.
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, maybe starting slow, splitting the dose up, um uh, you know, a couple weeks just on a lower dose and then move your way up.
- 34:36SPEAKER_01: Um, ATX 304 is like uh it was an investigative molecule being investigated for um uh you know metabolic control and um glucose and whatnot.
- 34:47SPEAKER_01: And there was a very small studies on it, but um there was uh showing the potential of you know decreasing um your cholesterol markers, which was pretty cool.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: Um, I think Dr.
- 34:59SPEAKER_01: Nick Norwitz on Substack has a really good Substack on it.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: It's where I kind of first read about it, and then we kind of started digging into it and thought it was pretty cool.
- 35:07SPEAKER_01: And then Hunter Williams came out with a podcast as well.
- 35:10SPEAKER_01: So um I think it's a great molecule to take into consideration.
- 35:15SPEAKER_01: Um and it's fascinating what you know the science could do, but it's not very much.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: Because I would way rather try that than a statin, so I'm gonna try it again.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: I don't want to go into statin if I don't if I don't have to, so I'm gonna I'm gonna prevent it.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: So our next test, let's see, Colo.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: You have my word right now.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna start tomorrow on the ATX.
- 35:33SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go slower and slower and see if I can handle it and see what happens.
- 35:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, I hope that helps out, but you know, I wouldn't throw away, you know, medication, you know, if all else fails and um you know, I know.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm open to it.
- 35:48SPEAKER_00: I just there's a lot of side effects to statins too that I I don't like, I don't necessarily like I will go there if I have to, but I'm not gonna start there by any means.
- 35:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: Okay, so our cholesterol we have to work on you know it was such a hard thing too.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: It's like now I'm finally eating steak again.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: So I've been eating steak for the last like three years.
- 36:07SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: And now, like, you know, you have this high cholesterol, and I'm like, oh my gosh, but I'm feeling so good eating steak that you don't want to go off of it.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: But anyway, here nor there.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, and necessarily, um, you know, some some fats are not, you know, bad for you in that way.
- 36:22SPEAKER_01: It's like when they say um eggs, you know, increase your cholesterol.
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: Don't eat eggs, you know, stay away from them.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: That's not true.
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: Um, it's it's just a different type of fat.
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: Um then what's interesting is I have zero visceral fat around my organs.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: Zero in my DEXA scan.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: So like that's where you're going, like, oh my gosh, like it's weird.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: It's it's a it's a very weird dichotomy of the two, like a very high cholesterol.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: Because you I would think high cholesterol would be associated with visceral fat around your organs.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: I I would think, but I don't know.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, visceral fat around the organs is is associated with that, you know, with metabolic dysfunction overall, causing you know, inflammation in the body and so on and so forth.
- 37:03SPEAKER_01: Um, your your issue is the actual metabolism of the cholesterol or or the receptor where it's binding, bringing it in and you know, processing it.
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: It's not uh there's an issue somewhere in that and that pathway, um, and and and you're having this uh this buildup.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: So that that's where the issue is, and and that's where you kind of like tailor different therapies too.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: Um overall, um I I feel like you you have some wins, and uh some I feel like some people, uh myself, everyone, we you get frustrated with your own health, you want to be healthy, you know, you want to live longer, feel better.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: Um, and it's like dang, like you know, this is not improving, but you know, take the wins and you know build from there and and think about the most important part.
- 37:50SPEAKER_01: You know, there's a million peptides, supplements, hormones, and different things you could do out there, but um what's the most important right now?
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: What's the most important that's gonna improve the health, your health spend at the moment, you know, and embark on that journey.
- 38:02SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 38:02SPEAKER_01: Um, that's the way I see it.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: Well, and I I think it's overwhelming when you do get a blood panel back and you're like, oh my god, where do I start?
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: And I want to say everybody, this has been a year and a half work in progress, and I'm still working on things.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Like I didn't even tackle my cholesterol before because there were so many other more important things in my mind that I had to do to feel better.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: Um, and so I just think it's a good reminder of, hey, yeah, knowledge is power.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: It's important to do something about it, especially at our age, and then just to keep going along and not let it hold you back.
- 38:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, also, you know, one thing I just you know thought of you, you know, you we were talking about different ways, um, knowledge is power and whatnot.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: So um it all goes back to you know the foundations, you know, sleep, nutrition, exercise, and movements, you know, if you're not sleeping well, your body doesn't function properly.
- 38:50SPEAKER_01: Um, one thing that I remember um we talked about your red blood cell magnesium.
- 38:54SPEAKER_01: You had a decent amount of it um there, but um, you know, it could increase uh and it wouldn't necessarily harm you.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: So, you know, taking a little bit more magnesium, you you know, not everybody else.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: Um uh for bed, you know, at bedtime or in the morning magnesium L3 and eight for you know maybe some brain function.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, you could have that movement and and you know that because you're seeing it on your on your labs.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: Like, oh well, hey, you know, technically, like I'm not, you know, ODing on this or I'm not excessively high RBC magnesium.
- 39:28SPEAKER_01: So I could, you know, use this to my advantage to help improve my sleep or you know, my function overall.
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: Well now, Paul, we talk about too just like the importance of like, you know, if you are in GHKC, you need to take a zinc supplement.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: You want to watch that because like I have a friend right now who's super knowledgeable about peptides, into peptides, and takes a zinc supplement and she got her blood work back and she's still deficient in zinc.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: You know, so you you want to know what you're deficient in, especially like your trace minerals.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: And there's so many things that matter and that it's easy when you have the right quality supplements, right?
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: You have the peptides, you have the lifestyle, and you start incorporating these tools to eventually feel better, live longer, and just like I said, you if you're spending all this money, you might as well know what's happening under the hood.
- 40:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, um, 100%.
- 40:13SPEAKER_01: I I agree with happening under the hood.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: That's me.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: I like that.
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: Um, you should.
- 40:19SPEAKER_01: You should.
- 40:20SPEAKER_01: You gotta know what's going on.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: And that's why I wanted to, I really wanted to tame we can wrap it up, but I wanted to take the time today, guys, just to talk about the importance of blood work.
- 40:28SPEAKER_00: And I do find it's one of the most pushed back things that people have.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: I don't know, I have small veins, I hate giving it.
- 40:34SPEAKER_00: And then there's the fasting component, like there's an excuse really for everything.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: If you do order it through us and you and there's a lobotomist in your neighborhood, I'm telling you guys, my window, I made it from it was from 5 to 7 a.m.
- 40:47SPEAKER_00: It was like a crazy window, and she came at 6 15.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: I did not miss the beat.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: She came in, she was so good.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: First try.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: I'm like one of those people that sometimes it's three tries.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: First try, nine vinyls, 12 files of blood.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: It was a lot in out the door.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: I was on with my day.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: I had my coffee and I could do whatever.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: So there's so many excuses why not to get blood work, guys.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: Like, if we're giving it to you at cost, we're breaking it down, we're making it easy, we're telling you what to run, and then we can help you once you get it back.
- 41:14SPEAKER_00: Like that is a no-brainer to me.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: Like, why would you not do that, especially when it's so easy?
- 41:19SPEAKER_00: And if you don't want a lobotomist to come to your house, literally it goes to whatever Quest is in your neighborhood or um what's the other one?
- 41:27SPEAKER_00: Quest and Love Corp.
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's so easy.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: You put a time in, go take it and move on with your day.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: So it's like anything, no one likes to get a colonoscopy, no one likes to go and get a physical, no one likes to go get blood work done, but it's just some things that you should do to be responsible.
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: And if you're in this world of peptides, I'm telling you guys, blood work is really, really important.
- 41:48SPEAKER_00: So thank you for taking the time follow.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: Is there anything else you think we should point out, or do you think we did a good job?
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: No, I think uh I think we did a good job, you know, a quick rundown on that.
- 41:58SPEAKER_01: And I think the the main takeaway is just, you know, be pre be proactive about your health.
- 42:04SPEAKER_01: And like, you know, everything's a drag, I understand.
- 42:06SPEAKER_01: There's always an excuse, but hey, um, I think it's uh cheaper than waiting until you're sick or you know, and when you don't feel good.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: I think that's my what I learned in May is like I waited way too not this May guys, a year and a half ago.
- 42:21SPEAKER_00: I waited way too long to get my blood work done.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: And by the time I got it done, it was like, you know, Mayday, Mayday, what's going on?
- 42:28SPEAKER_00: Um and that's because I had a kidney infection.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: But you know, when you don't know those things, your body starts giving you symptoms.
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: Like I told you, you're you're way far behind.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: So let's do it, let's make a commitment once a quarter.
- 42:38SPEAKER_00: Um, I'll I'll fill everybody in in the new year, how my my blood panels are going.
- 42:42SPEAKER_00: I can be the I can be the guinea pig.
- 42:43SPEAKER_00: I tell I tell about anything, everything here anyway.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: Might as well look under the hood and share everybody all my issues that I have and my wins.
- 42:50unknown: No.
- 42:51SPEAKER_01: You know, someone will um listen and you know be encouraged or you know, feel like there's nothing to be afraid of.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: Like if you're afraid to get blood work, like there's nothing to be afraid of.
- 43:01SPEAKER_00: And guys, polo is available to all of you.
- 43:03SPEAKER_00: So I feel really lucky that I have you, and I feel really lucky too that I've made it a big priority.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: So it is a priority, it'll continue to be a priority, and now it's easy.
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: It's much easier now that I have it through our company than when I had to go to Quest and wait in line at 6 a.m.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: So, anyway, okay.
- 43:21SPEAKER_00: Well, everyone, hopefully you found this interesting.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: Um, I was a little vulnerable in it, and I'm not gonna die.
- 43:26SPEAKER_00: I'll be fine.
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: Follow, thank you so much, and we'll see you guys next time on the loop podcast.
- 43:33SPEAKER_01: Bye, guys.
- 43:33SPEAKER_01: Thank y'all.
