- 0:05Speaker 1: Apoday production.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We begin today by acknowledging the traditional custodians of the
- 0:13Speaker 2: land on which we gather today and pay our respects
- 0:16Speaker 2: to their elders past and present. We extend that respect
- 0:19Speaker 2: to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's here today. Welcome
- 0:25Speaker 2: to the Grow and Glow Podcast. I'm Ashy, I'm Kiara.
- 0:28Speaker 2: This is a podcast where we learn, laugh, and level
- 0:31Speaker 2: up together. Let's go deep, let the emotions flow, and
- 0:34Speaker 2: find the lessons to grow and glow.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Nothing is off the table with Grow and Glow, and
- 0:38Speaker 1: we're here to be your expander. Hello, guys, welcome back
- 0:45Speaker 1: to the show.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Excited to be here Monday morning.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Or afternoon, whenever you are listening to this. Got a
- 0:52Speaker 1: fun episode or not a fun one, more informative one. Yeah,
- 0:55Speaker 1: for all of our gals on their healthy girl era. Yeah,
- 0:59Speaker 1: but before we get into it, share over the week.
- 1:00Speaker 1: What have you got for us?
- 1:03Speaker 2: These drops really excited. So they're tanning drops, which I
- 1:08Speaker 2: haven't really gotten into before.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 2: So I initially got these drops to like just try
- 1:13Speaker 2: it on my face because I always found that when
- 1:14Speaker 2: I use self tanner on my face, it went really dry.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I got breakouts. So I've changed over to it's called Tanologist.
- 1:21Speaker 2: They're Tenologists, the extra dark ones from price Line. So
- 1:25Speaker 2: you literally mix with moisturizer like five drops and rub
- 1:29Speaker 2: it in really really well, and then put all over
- 1:30Speaker 2: your face, and your face is just like glowing the
- 1:32Speaker 2: next day. Then I looked on TikTok, good old TikTok. Yeah,
- 1:36Speaker 2: and you can use it all over your whole body.
- 1:37Speaker 2: So now I've been doing that as well. So you
- 1:39Speaker 2: know how you're talking about finding a tan that doesn't smell, Yes, babe,
- 1:42Speaker 2: it does not smell. Mix it in with my Hideaway.
- 1:45Speaker 2: So you do one body part at a time, put
- 1:47Speaker 2: about five or six drops and you can spill it
- 1:48Speaker 2: up if it's not dark enough. Next day, add some
- 1:50Speaker 2: more drops and more hideaway and it's so easy you
- 1:52Speaker 2: can sleep in. It doesn't go on your sheets, it
- 1:54Speaker 2: doesn't transfer, doesn't stink, it's not sticky or tacky. I've
- 1:58Speaker 2: just been loving them.
- 2:00Speaker 1: So I've always used them for my face, not that brand,
- 2:02Speaker 1: a different brand, really natural one. I love it. Not
- 2:05Speaker 1: for my body. I've never tried that.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah, so cool.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, So mine is the black Essence perfume from Hideaway.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I love it it's the dupe of black Opium by
- 2:16Speaker 1: why Cell. It smells so similar. It is just beautiful
- 2:21Speaker 1: and out of all the fragrances that we've done at Hideaway.
- 2:24Speaker 1: When it comes to the perfumes, which if you're doing
- 2:26Speaker 1: a Hideaway warehouse right now, every single order has perfume
- 2:29Speaker 1: in it, Like it is our number one selling product
- 2:31Speaker 1: right now, which is crazy. But the Black Essence is
- 2:33Speaker 1: just the number one seller. It is the most sexiest, feminine,
- 2:37Speaker 1: beautiful scent. I love it.
- 2:39Speaker 2: It's literally in my handbag right now. Ye.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Last time we both had it, so choose one, but
- 2:45Speaker 1: I just keep going back to that one. Yeah, Whereas
- 2:47Speaker 1: when it comes to my custards, I prefer more fruity sense.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I do really like the Aurora roots for daytime though
- 2:53Speaker 2: sometimes yes, yeah, Kurt loves the Black Essence, but I'm
- 2:56Speaker 2: really liking the Aurora roote, the dupe of Baccarat, yeah,
- 3:00Speaker 2: which is like four hundred dollars. Yeah, yeah, so.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Popular, but it is really nice. Yeah, love it.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:06Speaker 1: So that's my share of the week is a nice
- 3:07Speaker 1: new perfume. I don't use perform daily, but on like
- 3:10Speaker 1: date nights or like going somewhere special. It just makes
- 3:13Speaker 1: me feel like, I don't know, it's just so nice
- 3:15Speaker 1: springing my step. I'm like, oh, it's like when Steve
- 3:18Speaker 1: Red's Colonne. He doesn't wear it off to either, but
- 3:20Speaker 1: when he wears it, I'm like, oh, hello, so nice,
- 3:22Speaker 1: so sexy.
- 3:23Speaker 2: So sexy.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we're right. So we're going to get into
- 3:28Speaker 1: an episode all about restoring our health and happiness. So
- 3:31Speaker 1: we wanted to share a bunch of different things that
- 3:33Speaker 1: we have consistently done that we really think improves our
- 3:36Speaker 1: overall vitality, overall mental and emotional wellbeing. We want to
- 3:40Speaker 1: share them because I feel like we can always learn
- 3:42Speaker 1: more and do better when it comes to that. So absolutely, yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 1: we'll get started. I want to ask you, and I'll
- 3:48Speaker 1: share mine as well. What are some things that you
- 3:51Speaker 1: think that all of us should be incorporating more of?
- 3:55Speaker 2: Meditating, like honestly, just stopping branding, putting our feet outside
- 4:01Speaker 2: in the grass, meditating. I feel like we've just all
- 4:04Speaker 2: become so disc from ourselves and from the earth and
- 4:08Speaker 2: from just like how lucky we aren't even just be
- 4:11Speaker 2: here and be alive every single day. They're just taking
- 4:13Speaker 2: that time out, that tiny bit of time like five
- 4:17Speaker 2: minutes in the morning. Eve, it takes to just yeah, yeah,
- 4:20Speaker 2: connect with yourself one per how about you?
- 4:23Speaker 1: For me, I think daily movement.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I think as we get older and we're sitting at desk,
- 4:29Speaker 1: like more often most people sit at a desk for
- 4:31Speaker 1: their work. Now, just moving your body. It doesn't have
- 4:34Speaker 1: to be a gym session. It doesn't have to be
- 4:35Speaker 1: swimming laps. It can literally just be a walk, stretching,
- 4:39Speaker 1: just movement. It's so good for your energy and for
- 4:41Speaker 1: your mental health. Like it is honestly like an antidepressant
- 4:44Speaker 1: for me. If I don't go to the gym, I
- 4:46Speaker 1: just mentally do not cope. Yeah, I go there. It
- 4:49Speaker 1: mentally and emotionally helps me show up as a person
- 4:51Speaker 1: I want to be, and it consistently has for the
- 4:54Speaker 1: last twenty odd years. Definitely, it's like one thing that
- 4:57Speaker 1: I just know does not fail me. Yeah, So daily movement.
- 5:00Speaker 1: And also I think we all should be having a
- 5:03Speaker 1: massive skull of water when we wake up in the morning.
- 5:05Speaker 1: A lot of people just don't. You're so dehydrated from
- 5:08Speaker 1: sleeping six seven, eight, nine, ten hours not having any liquid.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I scull back five hundred meals every single morning.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Do you drink throughout the night. No, see, I drink
- 5:17Speaker 2: a glass water throughout the night.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Oh, broken sleep.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Every time I wake up, I'm like, I'll just have
- 5:21Speaker 2: a few muffuls of water, but I wake up peeps
- 5:24Speaker 2: throughout the night.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Yeah I do.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I'm a light sleeper. But yeah, you speaking about stretching
- 5:27Speaker 2: before the other day, I actually put on wasn't a
- 5:30Speaker 2: guided meditation with just meditation background music, and did like
- 5:33Speaker 2: a big stretch right before bed. It was so nice. Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 2: and I didn't get to the gym that day, and
- 5:40Speaker 2: it's just like the one thing that I was like,
- 5:41Speaker 2: I need to do something.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Yes, it was beautiful. Even you're watching a TV series
- 5:45Speaker 1: like I'll just go down for five minutes and choose
- 5:47Speaker 1: like three stretches and hold each for a couple of minutes.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You do that every single night. Yeah, for a couple
- 5:51Speaker 1: of months. Imagine you're much more flexible, You're gonna be
- 5:53Speaker 1: much more easy, your body's going to be the less
- 5:55Speaker 1: chance of injury, like so important. You can just choose
- 5:59Speaker 1: a couple of things, so daily movement, hydration in the morning,
- 6:03Speaker 1: more sun being present. I know, I know it's controversial,
- 6:06Speaker 1: and my mum's had skin cancer, I get it. There's
- 6:08Speaker 1: a fine balance, but I think we've gone so far
- 6:10Speaker 1: the other way that we're just so like sunscreen orientated
- 6:13Speaker 1: and stay out of the sun. But vitamin D is
- 6:16Speaker 1: so important, and if you're deficient in vitamin D, your
- 6:20Speaker 1: body can't even absorb, it can't regulate as well. It
- 6:22Speaker 1: affects your cicadia and rhythm. Like it's just so important.
- 6:25Speaker 1: They reckon you should get out first thing in the
- 6:27Speaker 1: morning and like just go out and like bask in
- 6:29Speaker 1: the sun for five minutes to start your day. Just
- 6:31Speaker 1: wakes your body up. It's so good for you. It's
- 6:34Speaker 1: good few energy.
- 6:35Speaker 2: So nice in summer as well, Like we're speaking my
- 6:37Speaker 2: way up when it's a bit warmer, but you can
- 6:39Speaker 2: go out and just like if you want too nude, yeah,
- 6:41Speaker 2: and just like fully let the sun have access to you.
- 6:43Speaker 2: That's a bit chilly.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Every time I was breastfeeding, and one of the best
- 6:46Speaker 1: things for sore nipples is going out in the sun
- 6:48Speaker 1: because it toughens them up.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Oh there you go.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Yeah, remember just like being in the backyard and I
- 6:52Speaker 1: was like, after a bed tiler, just go out and
- 6:53Speaker 1: like put them in the sun.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I've never heard that in my life.
- 6:57Speaker 1: It's so good and just so grounding too. It sounds
- 7:00Speaker 1: like really relaxing, but it's also energizing. Yeah, so they'd
- 7:03Speaker 1: be my top.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Three the heat. Yes, what certain things would you never eat?
- 7:08Speaker 1: Oh? I really try to avoid artificial sweetness like sugar, alcohols.
- 7:15Speaker 1: They just upset my stomach so much. And I just
- 7:17Speaker 1: think it's so artificial that your body doesn't recognize it
- 7:20Speaker 1: doesn't know what to do with it, and it just stalls
- 7:22Speaker 1: in your body. Like it's just it's not good for us,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and it can cause hormone issues, headaches, bloating, digestive issues.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Just no, thank you. I want to say soft drinks.
- 7:31Speaker 1: But every couple of months I have a Pepsi Max.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I actually even have one in a really long time
- 7:36Speaker 1: because I've been having their Sodaly and next bar. So
- 7:39Speaker 1: I feel quite satisfied with my bubblies. Personally, I don't
- 7:42Speaker 1: love tofu. It upsets my tummy and it's just so processed.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I know a lot of ven Sharings have it, but
- 7:47Speaker 1: it's not good for my guts.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I get upset stomach from it too. Yeah, real bloated.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's so processed, it's not a natural thing
- 7:55Speaker 1: that's like grown from the ground, nice, so processed. But
- 7:58Speaker 1: a lot of people love it and like that says
- 8:00Speaker 1: source of protein. But for me, it's just no go.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Not something i'd ever give my kids either.
- 8:03Speaker 2: No.
- 8:04Speaker 1: My top three are about you.
- 8:05Speaker 2: So soft drinks after talking to you when Lee, But
- 8:09Speaker 2: I don't have a problem with that anyway, because I
- 8:10Speaker 2: don't like fizzy drinks. So I spoke with Ashy about this,
- 8:12Speaker 2: like I'm not a fizzy drink gal. And for me
- 8:15Speaker 2: would just be smoking and vaping. There are two things.
- 8:17Speaker 1: For me.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I have a lot of friends at the moment that
- 8:19Speaker 2: are vaping and they're like, I'm so addicted and it
- 8:22Speaker 2: looks like it's such a hard habit to break.
- 8:24Speaker 1: So I just would not start smoking, vaping any recreational drugs, no,
- 8:30Speaker 1: thank you, yeah, no thanks.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Vaping's a scary one, isn't it. It is?
- 8:35Speaker 2: And it's like I feel like we're smoking. There's so
- 8:36Speaker 2: many bad effects, like you smell like it, but vaping
- 8:39Speaker 2: smells nice, I know, So it's not even like a
- 8:42Speaker 2: bad thing, or it's very discreet. It's easy to do
- 8:45Speaker 2: because it's not really smelly or smoky.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Or every path is like you're inhaling ten thousand chemicals
- 8:50Speaker 1: or something like. It's something about like that. Yeah, So
- 8:53Speaker 1: they're the foods that we would avoid. What are the
- 8:55Speaker 1: foods that you make sure you have every single day
- 8:57Speaker 1: or you like to focus on because it makes you
- 8:59Speaker 1: feel so healthy and happy.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Something that I always speak about to you. You'll know
- 9:03Speaker 2: this Straightaway's avocado, Yeah, and even just more healthy fats
- 9:06Speaker 2: in general. I feel like growing up, when I was
- 9:08Speaker 2: like looking into all that stuff, I got really scared
- 9:10Speaker 2: of healthy fat.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Everyone got scared of the word fat, healthy fat.
- 9:14Speaker 2: But now I really really feel so much better when
- 9:17Speaker 2: I incorporate just like a tiny little in my breakfast.
- 9:20Speaker 2: I have like a little palm full of nuts, yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 2: on the top of my birch amusally every morning, and
- 9:24Speaker 2: then some avocado. Just some healthy fats make me feel
- 9:27Speaker 2: so good. Obviously protein feel incredible of protein as well,
- 9:31Speaker 2: But there's something about when I don't have enough fats
- 9:34Speaker 2: and I'm lacking, I can feel it in my body.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not surprised. And avocado it's an actual super food. Oh,
- 9:40Speaker 1: it's incredible, so nutrient rich for you. Yeah, I loved it.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Greens in general, that's definitely one of my top ones. Yeah,
- 9:47Speaker 1: I just don't think we're eating enough greens, but quality greens,
- 9:50Speaker 1: like try to go organic because yeah, I've spoken about
- 9:52Speaker 1: this before, but the soil that grows in affects the
- 9:54Speaker 1: nutrients in the actual vegetable. But we have broccoli every
- 9:58Speaker 1: single night, like guaranteed. But even in smoothiess like I'll
- 10:01Speaker 1: either put a handful of spinach or put half a
- 10:03Speaker 1: zecchini in there. Yeah, green powders like I just try
- 10:06Speaker 1: and make sure I get enough greens and fiber each day.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Even veggies too, chomper not having roast veggies roast.
- 10:12Speaker 1: So young, it's so delicious and fiber. I think a
- 10:14Speaker 1: lot of people are lacking in fiber and toilet regularly.
- 10:17Speaker 1: But you're going to get through your fruits and vegetables
- 10:18Speaker 1: as well. Very true.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I'm not a big fruit eater. I've been trying to
- 10:23Speaker 2: purposely eat a bit more because I do feel better
- 10:25Speaker 2: when I happened like eat and kind of did that
- 10:26Speaker 2: a little bit for me. But I would not just
- 10:29Speaker 2: go like I'm just going to pick up a piece
- 10:31Speaker 2: of fruit normally unless I'm like on the go, bring
- 10:34Speaker 2: a banana with me.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I love fruit there's so many antioxidants in fruits.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I know, I know, I've been trying to consciously eat
- 10:40Speaker 2: a bit more. I need to think about it. It's
- 10:42Speaker 2: not something I just like pick up and in summer.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I feel like you probably have more like stea beets
- 10:45Speaker 1: watermelon in summer the day to day. He doesn't eat.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Fruit either, so controversial. I'm not a huge watermelon. I'll
- 10:51Speaker 2: eat it, I'll always eat it when it's out, but
- 10:53Speaker 2: I'm not like, oh my gosh, like I would rather strawberries.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Over Yeah, I love watermelon.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Oh mango is my jam.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Oh mango is good that we spoke a lot about
- 11:05Speaker 1: supplements before. I feel like I've gotten you onto a
- 11:08Speaker 1: lot of supplements you're so proud of, like how consistent
- 11:11Speaker 1: you've been.
- 11:11Speaker 2: What thinks mate?
- 11:12Speaker 1: But I feel like there is a handful of supplements
- 11:14Speaker 1: that most of us could incorporate or should be having,
- 11:17Speaker 1: magnesium being one of them. If you've listened to the
- 11:19Speaker 1: episode with Levi as well. I think a lot of
- 11:21Speaker 1: people are really zinc deficient and vitamin D deficient for
- 11:24Speaker 1: shu oils. I've recently started taking Vishalis again. Yeah, and
- 11:28Speaker 1: I do think a lot of us need to do
- 11:29Speaker 1: a course of probotics more often. Yeah, not just after
- 11:32Speaker 1: you have antibotics or not just when your gut feels
- 11:35Speaker 1: really yuck. Like, do a couple of courses throughout the year. Yeah.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Two things I love to have now after speaking to
- 11:40Speaker 2: Levi as well, is vitamin B six and B twelve.
- 11:43Speaker 2: So they're both really great for nervous system and regulation. Also,
- 11:46Speaker 2: I went through a big phase when I was really
- 11:49Speaker 2: stressed where I was taking ashwagandha. But it's not something
- 11:52Speaker 2: you can take consistently for a long time, but if
- 11:53Speaker 2: you're having because it throws your balance off if you
- 11:57Speaker 2: do it for a long period of time. Yeah, so
- 11:59Speaker 2: I did a bit of research on it. But whenever
- 12:01Speaker 2: you went through a stressful situation, yeah, or even if
- 12:04Speaker 2: you just got a stressy day off, the kids are
- 12:05Speaker 2: really getting at you just to like have one or two.
- 12:08Speaker 2: But yeah, it's really helped me out when I've gone
- 12:10Speaker 2: through different challenges in.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, speaking of mushrooms, actually took Turkey's taiale for a while. Incredible.
- 12:17Speaker 1: That incredible for your immune system. Very controversial, but there's
- 12:21Speaker 1: a guy in America who grows them and no one
- 12:24Speaker 1: come at me because I feel like this is such
- 12:25Speaker 1: a controversial topic. Mushrooms haven't actually tripop fro mushrooms myself yet.
- 12:30Speaker 1: But anyway, this turkey Tail one, he had four women.
- 12:33Speaker 1: They all had stage four breast cancer, including his mother
- 12:35Speaker 1: who was eighty eight years old. Two of them took
- 12:39Speaker 1: turkey Tale, two didn't Stage four, like you're gone. Two
- 12:44Speaker 1: of them that took turkey Tale fully made a full recovery.
- 12:46Speaker 1: What the two that didn't passed away. So when one
- 12:51Speaker 1: of my girlfriend's mum got diagnosed with breast cancer and
- 12:55Speaker 1: it was in a sponge to cancer everywhere, I was like,
- 12:58Speaker 1: watch this talk like do your own research, but if
- 13:01Speaker 1: I ever get cancer, this is one thing I'll be taking.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And I took it consistently just for immune system anyway,
- 13:06Speaker 1: And she took Tookytail as well. Has got another mushroom
- 13:09Speaker 1: blend from a natchpath in America, but cancers are gone far.
- 13:13Speaker 1: She had it in her breast she had, and a
- 13:14Speaker 1: spine she had, and a hips second time getting cancer
- 13:16Speaker 1: and the doctors could not believe it fully gone. Holy
- 13:19Speaker 1: So I just fully believe and the power of plants
- 13:22Speaker 1: and mushrooms. Yeah, but yeah, I used to take to
- 13:24Speaker 1: Caytail used to order HERB but it's just an incredible
- 13:26Speaker 1: free immune system. I take vitamin D as well, because.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Yeah, vitamin D all those feel good ones.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yes, the b's and the ds. I think at mega
- 13:35Speaker 1: three's like fish oils and magnesium. If you're just starting out,
- 13:38Speaker 1: there'd be the true I'd get to start with, and
- 13:40Speaker 1: then I would do get a full blood count done,
- 13:42Speaker 1: So get all of your blood's done, get them to
- 13:44Speaker 1: check all of your deficiencies, see where your body needs
- 13:47Speaker 1: more support. You can even go a step further, which
- 13:49Speaker 1: I'm about to go into with Levi, whether he can
- 13:50Speaker 1: do genetic testing to see where like, genetically my body
- 13:54Speaker 1: doesn't function as well. Yeah, and then I could have
- 13:56Speaker 1: more specific supplements to help support that. So for me,
- 13:59Speaker 1: like he wants to put me on supplements that help
- 14:01Speaker 1: my capillaries and my veins and arteries because of my aneurysm.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's amazing.
- 14:06Speaker 1: So there's obviously just different things to reditary that you know,
- 14:08Speaker 1: you might have more weaknesses in. But if you're just
- 14:10Speaker 1: listening to this and you're like, well, start looking to
- 14:11Speaker 1: supplements a good quality magnesium and there's different types of magnetism.
- 14:15Speaker 1: It's eleven different types, so depending on what you're wanting for,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I take it for sleep, for muscle repair recovery, so
- 14:21Speaker 1: I take like a glaconate one, and then a zinc one, Yeah, an.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Amega freeze zach ones. That actually sent me a photo of.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Yeah, so handy having LEVI like, he's one of my
- 14:33Speaker 1: best mates. We've been in business, natchpath and nutritionist. If
- 14:37Speaker 1: you remember of our app, you get access to him
- 14:38Speaker 1: in the forum. He can answer all of your questions
- 14:40Speaker 1: about this is incredible.
- 14:42Speaker 2: So amazing, so knowledgeable.
- 14:44Speaker 1: So knowledgeable.
- 14:45Speaker 2: What tools have you learned over the years that have
- 14:48Speaker 2: increased your happiness?
- 14:51Speaker 1: I think one of the big ones that stands out
- 14:53Speaker 1: for me is to just focus on what I do
- 14:55Speaker 1: have and stop focusing what I don't have. I think
- 14:58Speaker 1: that just puts me in such a better state day
- 15:00Speaker 1: to day. So easy to focus on what you don't have,
- 15:03Speaker 1: what you want, what's so far away. But if you
- 15:05Speaker 1: just sit in gratitude more often of what you do
- 15:06Speaker 1: have and really soak it in and enjoy that, I
- 15:10Speaker 1: just think life's nicer. Yeah, probably one of my biggest ones.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Another one that I put down is that life doesn't
- 15:15Speaker 1: have to feel so heavy and serious all the time. Yeah,
- 15:19Speaker 1: and it all starts with our mindset, right, Like it
- 15:21Speaker 1: can feel so serious and heavy depending on what you've
- 15:24Speaker 1: got going on. But like my mindset switch, once I
- 15:27Speaker 1: got my date for my next surgery, I was like,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm not gonna let this consume me like it has.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I'm just going to live my life as if I'm
- 15:33Speaker 1: not getting surgery. You know what, I haven't even thought
- 15:35Speaker 1: about it that much because once I made that conscious decision,
- 15:38Speaker 1: I've been more focused on my everyday life and being
- 15:40Speaker 1: so present and enjoying it. So it hasn't consumed me
- 15:42Speaker 1: and taken up a lot of stress.
- 15:44Speaker 2: You've made that choice, Yeah, I feel like for me,
- 15:47Speaker 2: there's so many different things that kind of pop up.
- 15:49Speaker 2: But learning how your brain works and learning that not
- 15:54Speaker 2: every thought you think is actually a fact and a
- 15:57Speaker 2: little thing that Like I've talked to this with Ashy
- 15:59Speaker 2: Heat times. I've told Kurt about this so many times.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Whenever I have a negative thought pop up around a situation,
- 16:06Speaker 2: I always say to me, what are the five other options?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Wow?
- 16:09Speaker 2: And it has helped me so much. So, say, if
- 16:11Speaker 2: somebody doesn't answer your phone call and you're like, oh
- 16:13Speaker 2: my gosh, like they're not getting back to me, blah
- 16:14Speaker 2: blah blah, and it's been like two weeks you've been
- 16:15Speaker 2: try to contact them. You can be like, okay, so
- 16:17Speaker 2: they could just be ignoring me, or maybe they're really
- 16:20Speaker 2: stressed right now, maybe their phones disconnected or something's happened.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Maybe they've forgotten to get back to me, but maybe
- 16:26Speaker 2: it hasn't been going through. Like you can just think
- 16:28Speaker 2: of all these different situations. And I think by doing
- 16:31Speaker 2: that it's made me go, oh, okay, because you don't
- 16:34Speaker 2: fixate our brain. What it's wide to do, and what
- 16:36Speaker 2: it wants to do is pick one thing and fixate
- 16:37Speaker 2: on and understand why.
- 16:38Speaker 1: But if you keep safe, keep you safe.
- 16:40Speaker 2: But if you can go oh yeah, that could be it,
- 16:42Speaker 2: but also it might not be, everything just feels so
- 16:44Speaker 2: much less personal.
- 16:45Speaker 1: It's also nice for the person and the receiving end
- 16:47Speaker 1: because you're being very generous with your assumptions, like you're
- 16:51Speaker 1: not assuming the worst, you're assuming something else that just
- 16:54Speaker 1: feel lighter, So then your energy is not going to
- 16:56Speaker 1: be yucky towards them. Yeah, instantly being understanding, I.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Feel like that's helped me a lot. Yeah, feel like
- 17:01Speaker 2: that's helped me a lot, especially within relations.
- 17:04Speaker 1: The other example you can give, like say that one
- 17:07Speaker 1: of someone answering the phone, is there another situation.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Just even say if Kurt is doing something and like
- 17:13Speaker 2: seems short with me okay, or it's just anything even
- 17:16Speaker 2: the kids, Like the kids will be something to be
- 17:17Speaker 2: like far out they're being like this today, and then
- 17:18Speaker 2: I'll think about, like how much sleep did they have
- 17:20Speaker 2: last night? What about this? What did Lincoln say to
- 17:22Speaker 2: Miller again this morning? Oh maybe she feels like that
- 17:24Speaker 2: because he said that. Did I talk to her about that?
- 17:26Speaker 2: So rather than just fixating on the one thing and
- 17:29Speaker 2: I just try to stay to myself five options.
- 17:31Speaker 1: That's amazing, Just five that's so powerful. I absolutely love that.
- 17:35Speaker 2: It's really really this episode.
- 17:39Speaker 1: That's incredible.
- 17:40Speaker 2: It's really great.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, shared that with me before. I know. Wow,
- 17:44Speaker 1: I'm so blown away, So you mustn't it. Yeah, I
- 17:46Speaker 1: love that.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I use it all the time.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I'm so going to use that. Yeah. It's kind of
- 17:51Speaker 1: like that old one of like if it's not going
- 17:53Speaker 1: to matter in five years time or something. Yeah, makes
- 17:56Speaker 1: you think like I was this really worth getting this
- 17:58Speaker 1: upset about?
- 17:59Speaker 2: Definitely? And I think of, well, just knowing how your
- 18:01Speaker 2: brain works. We as humans are wired to straight away
- 18:05Speaker 2: think of the most negative outcome. So when you start
- 18:10Speaker 2: to know that and be aware of that and be like,
- 18:11Speaker 2: this is my brain protecting me protect this is what
- 18:13Speaker 2: it wants to do. This is what it's doing. Hello,
- 18:16Speaker 2: I know this is what you're thinking. I know what
- 18:17Speaker 2: you're doing. You kind of acknowledge it. See it. It's
- 18:19Speaker 2: catching yourself. It's going, how amazing you're catching yourself. Because
- 18:23Speaker 2: as soon as you start to catch yourself, that's when
- 18:26Speaker 2: you're making a change.
- 18:27Speaker 1: The lame.
- 18:28Speaker 2: That's it which gears. Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Another one that I've had is just to let go
- 18:35Speaker 1: of jobs, of people, of businesses, of situations, of relationships,
- 18:40Speaker 1: of whatever it is. If it's not feeling good, if
- 18:43Speaker 1: it's not feeling aligned, it's not bringing you joy, it's
- 18:46Speaker 1: not bringing new energy, to let go. I just always,
- 18:49Speaker 1: I don't know, growing up, probably just for safety. Once again,
- 18:52Speaker 1: you think, you know, once you find the one, or
- 18:55Speaker 1: you know you've got this friend or you've got this job,
- 18:57Speaker 1: you just want to keep it forever because that feels safe,
- 18:59Speaker 1: and that means I'm worthy of it. If they disappear
- 19:01Speaker 1: or abandon me, then like all that stuff comes up,
- 19:03Speaker 1: but it's actually okay to cut the cord, unplug, and
- 19:06Speaker 1: let go if it's not serving you anymore. And it
- 19:08Speaker 1: doesn't mean anyone's bad or anyone's anything wrong, you know,
- 19:11Speaker 1: it's just you're living in alignment and you're choosing what's
- 19:15Speaker 1: best for you and your life right now, which helps
- 19:17Speaker 1: you show up as the best version of yourself. Yeah,
- 19:19Speaker 1: but it's uncomfortable, Just like I've closed down a business
- 19:21Speaker 1: like that was really uncomfortable. That was a really hard
- 19:24Speaker 1: decision that I know I would feel better on the
- 19:26Speaker 1: other side, but to actually go through that process that
- 19:29Speaker 1: took a lot. Not an easy decision. It's the same
- 19:32Speaker 1: if you're listening to this and you're like, ow, I'm
- 19:34Speaker 1: just not happy in my marriage. That's a big decision
- 19:36Speaker 1: to make. But you have to know when to let go.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Something that I feel like gives me a lot of
- 19:41Speaker 2: happiness as well. Is having passion and.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Purpose Oh so important.
- 19:45Speaker 2: And it doesn't need to be a job at this that.
- 19:49Speaker 2: It can be being a really fucking good mum. Yeah,
- 19:51Speaker 2: it can be exercising and being like, fright, I'm really
- 19:54Speaker 2: into the gym right now, and like, you know, just
- 19:56Speaker 2: like researching about it. Having something that lights you up
- 19:59Speaker 2: and gives you purpose and something you wake up each
- 20:01Speaker 2: shape being excited about.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I think that that's important.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's really important. I feel like whenever
- 20:05Speaker 2: I've gone through phases of life where you know, maybe
- 20:07Speaker 2: early days of having a baby, when you can't really
- 20:09Speaker 2: have much passion or purpose or you don't feel like
- 20:11Speaker 2: you have it can motherhood. Outside of motherhood, it can
- 20:15Speaker 2: feel a bit like, you know, a bit yucky. But
- 20:17Speaker 2: as soon as you start to get that passion and
- 20:19Speaker 2: purpose back, I feel like it definitely makes you get
- 20:22Speaker 2: a lot happy.
- 20:22Speaker 1: It's a good thing you brought that up, especially because
- 20:24Speaker 1: a lot of our listeners are moms or new mums,
- 20:26Speaker 1: because I remember feeling like that. Obviously, your baby gives
- 20:29Speaker 1: you so much purpose, but outside of motherhood you feel
- 20:33Speaker 1: a little bit dead inside.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Can you dabble in a few things almost?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's why so many moms feel so lonely,
- 20:39Speaker 1: And just like I hear a lot of moms say
- 20:41Speaker 1: they're bored, and it's like, yeah, you can have moments
- 20:43Speaker 1: of boredom because you're so used to being able to
- 20:45Speaker 1: do different things and like go to your classes, or whatever,
- 20:47Speaker 1: and like for that season of being with your baby,
- 20:50Speaker 1: that's all you're doing. Yeah, and it can be tricky
- 20:53Speaker 1: to navigate.
- 20:53Speaker 2: So even letting you go of hobbies like that's another
- 20:56Speaker 2: big thing that you know, people can be so passionate about,
- 20:58Speaker 2: like having to not do them anymore for a season.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so once you come out of it, Okay.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I've got a question. Do you believe that everyone can
- 21:07Speaker 1: feel happiness again?
- 21:09Speaker 2: I feel like it could take huge change. Huge change
- 21:15Speaker 2: could take like you said before about like leaving a marriage,
- 21:18Speaker 2: leaving a job, doing this, rewirrying your brain, months or
- 21:21Speaker 2: years of therapy, doing any work. I truly believe that
- 21:25Speaker 2: everyone can feel happy again. I really do. I feel
- 21:27Speaker 2: like it's not easy, and I feel like you might
- 21:29Speaker 2: grow through moments of still not being the happiest version
- 21:32Speaker 2: of yourself, but I feel like you can definitely keep
- 21:35Speaker 2: getting back there again.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I totally agree. I don't think I could have worded
- 21:38Speaker 1: it any better. It takes conscious choice. Like hugeness just
- 21:42Speaker 1: doesn't fall in your lap. It's not something that someone's
- 21:44Speaker 1: just naturally born with. It's an emotional we feel like anger,
- 21:48Speaker 1: like sad, like frustrated, But you can choose to find
- 21:51Speaker 1: more happiness. And yeah, I think a lot of the
- 21:54Speaker 1: darkest and hardest, most challenging times bring you out to
- 21:58Speaker 1: the most happiness. Yeah, because it puts you where you
- 22:01Speaker 1: want to go. It helps you live the life you want.
- 22:03Speaker 2: To live, and you feel more grateful after you do it.
- 22:05Speaker 1: You're grateful, you know.
- 22:06Speaker 2: It changes the way that you show up, changes the
- 22:09Speaker 2: way you think about things. Yeah. And it's like we
- 22:13Speaker 2: always say too, like all the one percent is to
- 22:15Speaker 2: be happy.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Yes, the daily choices, right.
- 22:17Speaker 2: The tiny things like tiny minut you're just like not
- 22:21Speaker 2: shaking your phone three less times in the morning, or
- 22:23Speaker 2: you know, all the tiny little things that you can do,
- 22:25Speaker 2: and you think, oh, it's not really going to make
- 22:27Speaker 2: that much of a significant change. Man, oh man, they do.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, because I reckon, I know about you,
- 22:32Speaker 1: but all right, I wonder how many little one percentage
- 22:34Speaker 1: we do each day, which actually could end up to
- 22:36Speaker 1: be ten to fifteen things. Absolutely also the day of
- 22:39Speaker 1: a week, of a month, of a year, that shits.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, that's huge.
- 22:43Speaker 2: And if all these little things are making you feel
- 22:45Speaker 2: one percent better, you're going to be going from waking
- 22:48Speaker 2: up in the morning already probably feeling pretty good because
- 22:50Speaker 2: you had a good day before, and then you could
- 22:51Speaker 2: end up feeling twenty percent better by the end of
- 22:53Speaker 2: the day by making all these tiny little choices that
- 22:56Speaker 2: take no extra time, might even take less time because
- 22:57Speaker 2: if you're on your phone less, you probably have more time.
- 23:00Speaker 2: You know. Yeah, such a choice, though, isn't it. It
- 23:03Speaker 2: really is a choice, And it's like you gotta consciously
- 23:05Speaker 2: stop yourself.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and work on it. So true, if someone's
- 23:10Speaker 1: listening and they just feel like they're taking all this information,
- 23:13Speaker 1: they're like, yes, Kiera, yes, actually love all of that,
- 23:15Speaker 1: but they just feel so so stuck, like with their
- 23:19Speaker 1: next step, how would you recommend them to break through
- 23:22Speaker 1: and like get through this yucky feeling and yucky position
- 23:25Speaker 1: that they're in.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I don't know about you, but whenever I am stuck
- 23:29Speaker 2: and that is my feeling, the number one thing I
- 23:32Speaker 2: do is I journal. I feel like it really helps
- 23:35Speaker 2: me get unstuck. I just have blank pages. If I
- 23:39Speaker 2: know what I'm wanting to do, it on just blank pages,
- 23:42Speaker 2: and I just go through and write and write and
- 23:44Speaker 2: write and do pros and cons and this and that
- 23:47Speaker 2: and get clear on it. Yeah, but you need somewhere
- 23:50Speaker 2: to like brain dump all of that. How do you
- 23:52Speaker 2: start like I feel and then just start writing yeah,
- 23:54Speaker 2: and then it's honestly different every single time, and then
- 23:56Speaker 2: start making changes. Okay. Then at the very end, i'd
- 23:58Speaker 2: go action plan, Yes, how am I going to do that?
- 24:01Speaker 2: It might be fucking hard stuff that you have to
- 24:03Speaker 2: do and go oh my gosh, and you might not
- 24:05Speaker 2: want to do it just yet. You might go okay,
- 24:06Speaker 2: and you like save up a bit of money before
- 24:08Speaker 2: I quit my job. I'm up. You need to do
- 24:09Speaker 2: this or do that, but you need an action plan
- 24:12Speaker 2: in place, otherwise you're just going to keep staying in
- 24:15Speaker 2: the same place that you are.
- 24:16Speaker 1: That's what I love about the coaching that you do
- 24:18Speaker 1: with women as well. It's not only just like having
- 24:20Speaker 1: an hour session with you or like whatever. It's afterwards
- 24:22Speaker 1: they've got the action plan of like, Okay, now I
- 24:24Speaker 1: can do this and that. Because if you don't have
- 24:26Speaker 1: any progression, you just you do feel stuck. You can
- 24:28Speaker 1: know all the things, but if you don't know how
- 24:30Speaker 1: to take that next step, yeah, yeah, you feel stuck
- 24:32Speaker 1: and you keep repeating the same pattern.
- 24:34Speaker 2: And because I don't see them for two weeks I
- 24:35Speaker 2: think then they can go for two weeks and they
- 24:37Speaker 2: know what they've got to do.
- 24:37Speaker 1: In that cleario. Yeah, so powerful. My first thing that
- 24:41Speaker 1: I do when I feel stuck, I think of energy.
- 24:44Speaker 1: So it's move It's movement for me. If I ever
- 24:46Speaker 1: feel stuck, it's like a brisk walk, it's a gym session,
- 24:49Speaker 1: it's a dance class. It's just like literally physically moving
- 24:53Speaker 1: my body helps me physically move through the energy. Once
- 24:55Speaker 1: I've moved through whatever stagnant, icky energy I feel, then
- 24:59Speaker 1: I feel like I've got clarity again, like that blurry
- 25:02Speaker 1: cloud that's hanging over me. I feel like I can see,
- 25:04Speaker 1: I can commune Kate, I can write down. I can
- 25:07Speaker 1: just get more clear on where I'm at, what I'm feeling,
- 25:09Speaker 1: and what I'm doing next. The movement is just it's
- 25:11Speaker 1: honestly always been my biggest tool for everything in life
- 25:15Speaker 1: is movement.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Also, something that I've become hyper aware of now that
- 25:18Speaker 2: is life changing is whenever you're feeling really stuck and
- 25:22Speaker 2: whenever you are like feeling like I need to get
- 25:24Speaker 2: to the wom of it, I need to get to
- 25:25Speaker 2: the womb, but I need you to do this that
- 25:26Speaker 2: detakeeation and blah blah blah. That is not the time
- 25:28Speaker 2: to do anything. Just still, be still, be still, let
- 25:31Speaker 2: the waves come over you. You're in a low mood.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Whenever you're in a low mood state is not the
- 25:35Speaker 2: time to take action. You need to wait until you're
- 25:37Speaker 2: feeling like at your peak again and then go related yep,
- 25:41Speaker 2: and then go revisit it. So even with like work stresses,
- 25:43Speaker 2: if something pops up and I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 25:44Speaker 2: you know, like that didn't go great, Now we need
- 25:46Speaker 2: to do this, It's like they're not the days to
- 25:48Speaker 2: visit it. It's like, Okay, let's have a chat about
- 25:50Speaker 2: this on Wednesday, when we've gone through the.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Motion fresh es staate.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Otherwise you're just running on water, like you're just like
- 25:56Speaker 2: trying to frantically get stuff done. It's not well aligned.
- 25:58Speaker 2: You're not thinking about what to do properly. You're doing
- 26:00Speaker 2: it out of fear, yeah, rather than actually doing what's
- 26:03Speaker 2: aligned with you.
- 26:05Speaker 1: And you're so frazzled. You can't make good quality of
- 26:08Speaker 1: decisions when you're not the time to like regulate, calm,
- 26:12Speaker 1: get ground, and get centered and then yeah, take a step.
- 26:15Speaker 1: So true, nothing worse than making decisions when you're frazzled
- 26:18Speaker 1: or emotional notional.
- 26:20Speaker 2: And can I say that now, like even if we
- 26:21Speaker 2: want to have a conversation and like it's a bit
- 26:23Speaker 2: of a confrontational one, like Babe, I'm in a low mood. Yes,
- 26:27Speaker 2: let's have the chat. Let's have the chat tomorrow. And
- 26:29Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, sweet, and I will too. I'll be
- 26:31Speaker 2: like I'm in a low mood right now, like just
- 26:32Speaker 2: wait till my mood's back up, because.
- 26:34Speaker 1: You know you can't handle as well, and you always
- 26:35Speaker 1: say things you don't mean, or say things reacting or yeah,
- 26:39Speaker 1: y say things that you'll regret and just be like fuck,
- 26:41Speaker 1: I don't actually want that.
- 26:42Speaker 2: But when you're in a low mood, everything feels really urgent,
- 26:44Speaker 2: so you feel like you have to get it done
- 26:47Speaker 2: right now. And it's like, what's actually.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Going to die if you wait?
- 26:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so funny, but to you, it feels so
- 26:53Speaker 2: like you have to do it right now.
- 26:55Speaker 1: And that can be in any situation, hey, Like if
- 26:56Speaker 1: it's financial, for example, you feel like, fuck, if we
- 26:59Speaker 1: don't take action, like do something quickly with work here,
- 27:01Speaker 1: then we're gonna lose money or to pay I don't
- 27:04Speaker 1: know whatever. Yeah, you think you have to do it
- 27:06Speaker 1: then and there, but if you actually just take some
- 27:07Speaker 1: time to recharge and plug back into yourself, you'll come
- 27:10Speaker 1: back with so many.
- 27:11Speaker 2: More ideas one hundred percent, and you have so many
- 27:13Speaker 2: good ideas and.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Be so much more productive.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Yes yeah, yeah, Like I said, you're not acting out
- 27:17Speaker 2: of fear. It's not exerting as much energy. Yes, yeah, alright, what.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Are the first three things that you do? I know
- 27:24Speaker 1: what you do, but share with everyone. That's the first
- 27:26Speaker 1: three things you do when you wake up in the morning.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Yes, first thing now is meditate every single morning. Miller's
- 27:32Speaker 2: been doing like four mornings a week with me as well.
- 27:35Speaker 1: She loves it.
- 27:36Speaker 2: So meditate every morning. I read normally four between depends
- 27:41Speaker 2: how earlier I get up, yeah, anywhere from ten minutes
- 27:43Speaker 2: to an hour. And then I have a shower. I
- 27:47Speaker 2: put on a podcast while I'm having my shower. Sometimes
- 27:49Speaker 2: the kids are running up and down while meditating, jumping
- 27:51Speaker 2: on me Mom, like morning, baby, Mum's doing your meditation.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Eaten taught me that we can do that and it's okay.
- 27:57Speaker 2: And then yeah, in my shower, I try to really
- 27:59Speaker 2: have it as like my nice time for me as well.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Yeah, have my.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Morning shower, put all my nice creams on my heart
- 28:05Speaker 2: away and do my makeup and listen to a podty
- 28:08Speaker 2: at the same time. And then yeah, I'm set for
- 28:11Speaker 2: the day. And like I said, it's not as relaxing
- 28:13Speaker 2: as it sounds all the time. Sometimes the kids run up.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Probably three mornings a week. I will have a cold
- 28:18Speaker 2: shower at the end, only ten seconds. I'm a bit
- 28:20Speaker 2: of a silk in winter.
- 28:22Speaker 1: To your top three meditate book and shower and shower, Yeah,
- 28:25Speaker 1: mine would be stretch, make my bed and skull, water
- 28:30Speaker 1: and tongues grape Doug's. That's the first, like first things
- 28:34Speaker 1: that I do. But at the moment, I'm four mornings
- 28:36Speaker 1: a week, going to the gym very early. I get
- 28:38Speaker 1: up at like four twenty, meet Tiana at five, so
- 28:41Speaker 1: I'll have my sea mass, I'll have my decaf no
- 28:44Speaker 1: decaf coffee. It's so funny. It's such a placebo.
- 28:46Speaker 2: It's such a placebo.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Enjoy the taste of it.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Do you know what somebody told me though they messaged me.
- 28:51Speaker 2: They said to me, just to let you know though
- 28:54Speaker 2: decaf isn't actually caffeine free. And I wrote back and
- 28:57Speaker 2: I said, oh my gosh. I was like gosh. I
- 29:00Speaker 2: was like, how much caffeine does it have? And they say, well,
- 29:03Speaker 2: it's ninety eight percent caffeine in free.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Goodness.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I had a giggle. I was like, well, I'm ninety
- 29:09Speaker 2: eight percent caffeine free. Then correctly, I said, it's a
- 29:13Speaker 2: whole lot better than've been completely one caffeinated.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Well, see, I go to the gym, have my degcaf
- 29:20Speaker 1: on the way, come to town. Yeah, go home like
- 29:23Speaker 1: quarter past six. Yeah, kids get up at six thirty,
- 29:25Speaker 1: so quickly shower, put my makeup on, and they get
- 29:27Speaker 1: the kids up.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, and I did bottle.
- 29:29Speaker 1: We hang in the lounge room was a family for
- 29:30Speaker 1: like half an hour, and then it's like lunch, breakfast, school, dress,
- 29:34Speaker 1: chaos out.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Oh I feel you're on the chaos.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Half an hour chill and then I'm like a sergeant,
- 29:40Speaker 1: all right, taj, let's do it. Yeah. While she's hanging
- 29:43Speaker 1: on my hip, climbing on my leg. Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 29:46Speaker 2: My reading's like my gym time for me in the morning. Yeah,
- 29:49Speaker 2: I really love it. But then I do gym in
- 29:51Speaker 2: the day.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Yeah that's good. I do like the mornings, but I
- 29:54Speaker 1: like getting it done because I feel like the endorphins
- 29:56Speaker 1: I get like overflow. I agree, Yeah, okay, so we've
- 29:59Speaker 1: done morning. What's the last three things you do at night?
- 30:02Speaker 2: Five out of seven nights a week. I sauna, Oh beautiful,
- 30:06Speaker 2: which is just sometimes it's like my favorite part of
- 30:09Speaker 2: my day.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Hell yeah, I love it so much.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I have my feminine shower. This is why listening to
- 30:15Speaker 2: nice music. I have those little like a light mirror,
- 30:18Speaker 2: so it's got like the beautiful little soft light and
- 30:20Speaker 2: I put that on and it's like all dark except
- 30:22Speaker 2: for that.
- 30:22Speaker 1: That's nice.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Just really set the mood to unwind. And then I
- 30:26Speaker 2: cuddle with my hobby, yeah, watch a show and go
- 30:28Speaker 2: to sleep.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Beautiful.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Yeah, how about you.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I feel like my showers are kind of earlier, like
- 30:32Speaker 1: with the kids. Yeah, but mine would probably be like
- 30:35Speaker 1: snuggle with Steve for sure, take my supplements, and then
- 30:39Speaker 1: normally gratitude. Tonight, I write down like three things I'm
- 30:41Speaker 1: grateful for. Oh that's so yeah. And I always put
- 30:43Speaker 1: rains sound on before I go to sleep too.
- 30:45Speaker 2: I do that as well. Understands how good I love? Honestly,
- 30:51Speaker 2: nighttime routines. How good are they? When you know you're
- 30:53Speaker 2: going to bed the best the best.

- 32:24Speaker 2: future self field what you wish existed, and refuse to
- 32:27Speaker 2: spend your life on screens because you won't reach your
- 32:30Speaker 2: potential if dopamine is always within reach.
