#110 M (1931) | Apparently There Are Rules to This Life | RVR08
On Episode 08 we’re revisiting the #110 ranked M (1931), directed by Fritz Lang and starring Peter Lorre, Otto Wernicke, Gustaf Grundgens and Ellen Widmann.
It’s about a child killer terrorizing a city, the police desperately trying to catch him, and the local criminals eventually deciding they’ve had enough and will find him themselves. Apparently even organized crime has a breaking point.
The question: Nearly 100 years later, is M still genuinely disturbing, or is this one of those movies we respect more than we actually want to watch?
