Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Over the last month or two, I've been talking a lot.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: I've been yapping quite a bit, not just here on the podcast, not just on social, not just within our team Zoom calls and team meetings, but also clubhouse.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: And the main theme that uh that I I feel the need to keep driving home is posting on social media regularly.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: Okay, we're gonna talk about that today because if you're not doing that, if you're not, if you're not doing the bare minimum, you don't need to worry about all the other shit.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Okay, but today we're gonna tell you how to do it, what you should be posting, and why.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: The massive aged podcast.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: We need generation tips and strategies to give you more leads and sell more homes.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: I love to buy houses, I like to sell houses.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Wait a minute.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Leads a week.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: That's been better.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Here's your host, Dustin Brohm.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: What is up, everybody?
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Welcome to episode number 166, 166 of the Massive Agent Podcast.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: Welcome back.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: I am your host, Dustin Brohm.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Today we're talking about the most basic shit we could possibly discuss.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: But I feel like I have to because it's mind-boggling how many of you guys have gotten ahead of yourselves and just aren't doing this.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: And if you don't do this, then everything else you do is not working as well as it could or that it should.
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: And I'm talking about posting on social media, saying things on the internet, okay, super basic.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna talk about why you should be and what you should be doing, okay, and probably how you're screwing up, probably what you're doing wrong, because there's a lot that's being done wrong right now.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Um, so let's fix that, shall we?
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: If you are brand new to the podcast, welcome.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: My name is Dustin Brome, your host.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I'm an agent in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: I've been an agent for 10 years or so, and uh I am the co-founder of the Industry Syndicate Podcast Network with my partner Phil Treadwell.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: Go to industry syndicate.com to check out the other podcasts for real estate agents, investors, mortgage people that are like this one, um, go check them out all in one place over at the Industry Syndicate.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: All right, um, let's jump into it.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Social media posting.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: If you guys are not posting every day on social media, you're screwing up.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: And it doesn't need to be this big elaborate, you know, hour and a half long deal.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: Okay, it doesn't.
- 2:32SPEAKER_01: Here's the thing.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: If you if you want to win business, if you want your leads to convert better, if you want to go door knocking or do the freaking cold calling to strangers, if you want all that stuff to work well, you've got to show up ahead of time.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: What I'm what I mean by that is people need to see you in their news feeds before they ever talk to you or or see you in person.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Because then there's a familiarity there.
- 2:56SPEAKER_01: There's a there's uh if so if you meet somebody for the very first time, like they're literally a stranger, are you just gonna hire them on the spot?
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: Of course not.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: You need to build credibility.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: You need to build credibility and likability.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Uh do you know what you're talking about?
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Are you likable?
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Are you someone that is even worth hiring?
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: And that takes some time.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: So by posting on social media, even if this is, even if we're just talking people who you went to high school with, people that live in your neighborhood, people that go to your church, people that uh whatever, uh, that you're connected to on social.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Let's just say you're Facebook friends.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Um, if they aren't seeing you over and over in their news feed, and I'm not talking about just real estate shit, okay?
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: We'll we'll get into that.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: If they're not seeing you over and over and over, I promise you, one of your competitors is showing up.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Okay, if you're not showing up, someone else is.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: So what do you do then?
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: Okay, you you've you've got to stay in front of your contacts, people that know you and people that don't know you yet, as often as possible in as many places as possible.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Okay, so that that's the goal.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Okay, you guys can walk away from this episode today.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: That's what I want you to get is the goal is to be seen in the news feeds of as many people as possible, as often as possible, in as many places as possible.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: So that if you if you go door knocking, you know, six months from now, but people have seen your videos, they've read your blog posts, they've seen your YouTube videos, they've they just see you over and over and over, all of a sudden you show up and they're like, oh my gosh, like it's you.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: I I've seen you before, I recognize you from YouTube or from Instagram or whatever.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: That stuff happens.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Do you if you show up on someone's doorstep, if you're if you're gonna do the door knocking thing and if you show up and they already know who you are and they already feel like they trust you a little bit or that you've built some level of credibility, do you think it's gonna go well?
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's gonna go well or a lot better than it would if you were a random stranger, a random realtor showing up.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Hi, you've never seen me before, but I'm the best agent in the world, and here's why you should hire me.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: See what I mean?
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: The same thing works with your contacts that already know you.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Um, you may think that everyone knows what you do for a living, but do they?
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: Maybe they do, but do they remember when the time is right for them to actually talk to an agent?
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: That's the key.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Okay, so you have to stay in front of them over and over and over.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: Not with real estate shit, but with you.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: What's going on in your life?
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: Who are you?
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: What do you do on a daily basis?
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: What what makes you laugh?
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: What do you find funny?
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: What interests you?
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: What's your what does your family look like?
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: You know, what what do you do for fun?
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: The stuff that makes you a human being, the stuff that that allows others to make a personal connection with you.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: See, that's the key.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: The personal connection.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: The personal connection.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: If you can, if you can stay in in the news feed of others over and over and over, making a personal connection, eventually they're gonna need to refer an agent to a friend.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: Maybe they need maybe they're considering buying their first home or they need to sell a house or they want to buy an investment property.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: And if you don't, if they don't remember you, they're gonna find somebody else.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: But if they if they've been following you, if they're connected with you, if they like you and you're interesting to them and you just share interesting shit, guess what?
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: When their timing is right, who are they gonna reach out to?
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: Obviously, you because you're the one that's in front of them the most.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: See how this works.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: If you're not in front of them the most, somebody else is.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: So, how you accomplish this, guys, is posting on social media.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: Post what you think is funny, ask questions.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: I love engagement posts, as long as you don't do them every single time.
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: And there's if you guys are doing something every single time, over and over and over on social media, you gotta you gotta switch it up a little bit.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Okay, don't always do any one thing.
- 7:00SPEAKER_01: Don't only do pictures of your kids.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: Don't only do your freaking cat.
- 7:04SPEAKER_01: You know, do your show pictures of your cat, show what you're doing with your kids.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: Maybe you you play the guitar, you snowboard, you go to the gym, you cook, you sell homes, you showed a property with an amazing view of a sunset, and then you um saw some hilarious person in a parking lot dancing, and you decided to record it and put it on social.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: Whatever.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: That I'm describing the people that you follow.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: I'm describing, maybe not exactly, but conceptually, I'm describing the same people that you spend your time on social media following over and over.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: So think think about this.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, I want you to, when this podcast is over, go to your newsfeed, Facebook, Instagram, whatever, and I want you to go to the people that you actually follow the most, okay, and audit why.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Why do you follow them?
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: What is it about them?
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: What are they doing?
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: And I bet you it's not this overly produced crap.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: It's just they are giving a glimpse with their phone.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: They're they're showing you what their life is like.
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: Ever since I first watched Flavor of Love, it what when was that?
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: Um probably late 2000s.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: Flavor of Love with Flava Flav.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: And then it then it was uh Rock of Love with uh Brett Michaels on VH1, an amazing show.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, really didn't get the credit they they deserve.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: I mean, they were gold.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: But that that was my foray into reality TV.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: Obviously, it's not reality, but there's something about watching other people's lives that we like, that we do.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: We all do it with Instagram stories.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: We watch other people living.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: Like it's my wife would rather watch Instagram stories than a Netflix show because there's something that we like about seeing the lives of others.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: Reality TV is as popular as it is because of that, right?
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: So you to a certain extent do the same thing.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: Whatever, whatever, whoever you're paying attention to, whatever they're doing, you should be doing too.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: Real basic stuff.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: And I promise you, if you look at the people you follow the most, you can see their face.
- 9:21SPEAKER_01: They're showing their face, they're talking to the camera.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: Just if you're watching on YouTube, the same way I'm talking to you right now.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: Because when you see somebody talking, a personal connection can be made.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: It's as close, it's the next best thing to meeting somebody face to face.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: Okay, face to face, awesome.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: But video, I can record this, and I thousands of people can watch this.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: It didn't take me any extra time.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: I could have three people watch this, or I could have 3,000.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: Didn't take me any extra time or effort.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: That's how scalable video is.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: So video on social is great.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: Ask questions as well.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: I love engagement posts where you ask what's who has the best pizza in town?
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Uh, and you just do these little polls like, hey, what should I watch on on Disney Plus tonight?
- 10:08SPEAKER_01: Or, you know, what's your favorite Michael Bay movie or something?
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: You know, ask questions.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: What's your favorite ski resort?
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Do you ski or snowboard?
- 10:16SPEAKER_01: And then you let people vote.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: Uh, I've been doing this in my Instagram stories recently that you guys that follow me um have seen.
- 10:23SPEAKER_01: That well, I'll just do this, I'll do like 10 or 12 polls where I say, like, do you like Cholula or Tabasco?
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: Do you ski or snowboard?
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: Do you like New York or LA?
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, either or things, and people can't help but vote on them.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: And that engages with your content.
- 10:41SPEAKER_01: When people engage with your content, not only are they following you and they are making a connection with you subconsciously, but guess what else is happening?
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: All that engagement is telling the social media networks and the algorithm that hey, this this person, whoever, like this Facebook user, this Instagram account, they have interesting shit.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: They have stuff that people are engaging with at a super, super high level.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: So we've talked about this before.
- 11:12SPEAKER_01: What do the social networks want?
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: They want they want people to stay on them as long as possible so they can show more ads to those people.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: So you as a content creator, um, even just like posting, hey, I took my kids sledding, here's a here's a video of something funny they did, and you get people watching or commenting, like, oh, that's cute, or you know, oh my gosh, uh, where is that?
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, you have you checked out this sledding hill instead?
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: That type of stuff tells the algorithm that you have good content that people engage with.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: Engagement means that they're sticking.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: So if you start doing this stuff regularly, not only are people following you over and over so they remember you, but the algorithms are being told and taught that you are somebody who puts out great stuff.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: So, what does that mean?
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: That means that your future content is gonna perform much better.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: Your future content is going to perform much, much better because they're gonna show it to more people organically.
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: The algorithm will show it to more people organically.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: So it this is something that here's what frustrates me.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm I'm gonna be honest, that this really frustrates me.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: I I'll uh you know, I'll I'll have a coaching client.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: They they're like, all right, we'll try this for a month.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: They do it for a month, and they're like, I didn't sell any houses, so it wasn't worth it.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: And I'll have someone else that is like, you know what?
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: I see it, I get it, I'll keep doing it.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: And then they keep doing it for 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, six months, whatever.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, it depends on a million different things.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: And they just do it consistently, and all of a sudden, they start getting five comments, 10 comments, 50 comments, 120 comments, and it just starts happening over and over and over and over, and boom, they're selling more homes.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: They're getting referrals, they're selling more homes, they're getting their contacts, re uh their sphere of influence, reaching out to them to buy or sell, or to ask for for a referral or whatever.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: Or eventually you start getting recognized when you go to the grocery store, recognized when you're out at a restaurant by someone in your community that saw one of your videos, and they think you're a celebrity.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: They're like, Oh, you're the guy that does that thing, or it happens all the time.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: It's absolutely wild, but it's frustrating to me how few of you will actually do this consistently.
- 13:28SPEAKER_01: It's frustrating.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: And look, I I get it, I know that it's not I being consistent with with something that's worth being consistent at takes time.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: It takes uh work and effort.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: I get it, but so does success, goddammit.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: So does success.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Okay, if you want to be this top producer and sell a shitload of homes, you should probably expect to put some time and effort into it.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: Otherwise, like being a top producer doesn't mean shit.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: If anyone can do it, not to mention we wouldn't get paid what we do, you wouldn't get paid like a top producer if everyone was a top producer.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: I can tell you that much.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: Yes, this takes time and effort.
- 14:11SPEAKER_01: This is simple.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: It's not necessarily easy, it's certainly not hard, but it's simple.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: If you guys can grasp the concept of keeping somebody's attention, being interesting, being likable, sh letting them know subtly every now and then what you do for a living, and then just showing up in their news feed over and over and over and over, that is the formula.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: Simple as that.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: So, and then when you run ads, if you run Google ads or Facebook ads or whatever, and people have already seen your stuff, they've seen your face before, and all of a sudden they're a lead, and you reach out and you you text that lead or you call them, they're like, Oh, that name rings a bell.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: Oh, hey, oh my gosh, you're the you you wrote that one article or you do that one video, or it happens all the time.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: And now, now you're not just some random agent.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: You're gonna convert more leads if you're doing this social media strategy that I'm talking about.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: You will.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: But the key is the consistency.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: If you consistently put interesting, entertaining educational stuff out there, and don't overthink it either, guys.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: Like that's the thing, is we're like, okay, what can I do that's interesting or educational or entertaining?
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: What can I do?
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: And you're like racking your brain, like, how the hell do I do this, right?
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: Well, you're overthinking it because I've I know I've told you before on the show, I one of my best performing pieces of content that got shared thousands and thousands of times was me taking a picture of a const of an orange construction barrel when I was stopped at a red light.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: I took a picture of a construction barrel and I wrote over the top of it Utah State Tree.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: Because that the joke is that in Utah, there's two seasons, winter and road construction.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: And I know that there's you know a lot of other cities that feel the same way.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: So, and the joke is that the construction barrel is the Utah State tree.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: So I just wrote Utah State Tree over this picture of the construction barrel and I posted it on my Facebook page, and it went freaking crazy.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: Thousands of shares.
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: This was a few years ago.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: How easy was that?
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: It took me three seconds to do while stopped at a red light.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: It was just one random idea.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: It's not something I had to prepare for, it's not something I had to uh pay for, none of that.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: And it just it's because it was so easy, people didn't have to think too hard about it.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: It was easy for them to tag their friends in and share that it went so crazy.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: So that's what I like, that's entertaining.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: So don't overthink it.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: What what's and what good content is, okay?
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: What is good content?
- 16:52SPEAKER_01: That's really not up to us.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: It's up to the viewer, the the reader, the whoever's seeing your stuff.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: It's up to them.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: If you can just think, okay, is this is this interesting?
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: Am I just am I showing my life?
- 17:05SPEAKER_01: Like, is this just what's on my mind at the moment?
- 17:07SPEAKER_01: And then you you just don't overthink it much more and you put it out there, let others decide.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: It's usually the stuff that I'm like, this it always works this way for me.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: When I I have this idea for like this big grand marketing campaign or this sales funnel or Facebook ads, something.
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: And I put all this time into it.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: This one time I I created a landing page and bought a special domain name and did all this shit.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: Took me probably like three or four days worth of work, and it absolutely bombed.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: It was horrible.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: Like it did not perform well at all.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: At all.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: And and then I then I'll take a picture of an orange construction barrel and it goes crazy and you know reaches 100,000 people on Facebook.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: It's just, it's it's the stuff that we let me back up.
- 17:56SPEAKER_01: If you've got to stop overthinking it because what you may think is stupid, somebody else thinks is hilarious.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: What you think is hilarious, somebody else thinks is stupid.
- 18:07SPEAKER_01: See, it's not up to us.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: We just put out stuff.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: Your job is to put out stuff that that uh reflects you, your personality, who you are, what your life is like, and let others decide if they care or if they like it or if they want to see more.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: We we don't we can't control that.
- 18:27SPEAKER_01: We can control are we putting it out there consistently enough?
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: So where do you put this content?
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: Well, let's start with where what do you like?
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: Okay, which social network do you like?
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: Maybe it's maybe it's Facebook, maybe it's Instagram, maybe it's TikTok, I don't know.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: But let's start with the one that you like the most, that you understand, that you really truly get.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: Start there.
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: And if that's only Instagram, cool.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: Start there.
- 18:55SPEAKER_01: If it's only Facebook, cool.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: What matters is that you are doing it.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: So don't think that you need to like if you guys are just now buying into this and you're just now making a decision to do it.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: I promise you, it's better to focus on one or two platforms than three or four or five and trying to do it everywhere.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: You you've got to start somewhere.
- 19:21SPEAKER_01: And if you just start with Facebook and you can do a post every single day, once you get uh once you fall into a rhythm and you get a handle on that and you get good at it, then you can add on LinkedIn or Instagram or start a podcast or whatever else.
- 19:37SPEAKER_01: But start with whatever you're really good at, whatever you understand, wherever your audience is, and that and a platform that you like.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: That's the key.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: That's the absolute key.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: Guys, you can do this.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: This is really, really basic shit.
- 19:52SPEAKER_01: It really is.
- 19:53SPEAKER_01: But it's it's it's frustrating to me how often I have to keep talking about this before people take action on it.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: I've been talking about this in every team meeting, in every virtual webinar, in every freaking podcast interview that I'm interviewed on.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: Um seems like everywhere it's it's still something that that needs to be mentioned because people aren't doing it.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: But congratulations.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: Because that means your competitors still aren't doing this stuff.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: So if you do, guess who still has a bunch of room for growth and upside and success?
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: You.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: But not if you quit three weeks later, not if you quit three months later.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: You just have to make a habit of it.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: Okay, one of the best examples, Chelsea Pites on Instagram.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: She is so consistent on Instagram with her stories, and she she loves it.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: She absolutely loves it.
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: It's now part of her life.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: Um, I asked her the other day on Clubhouse, like, did it take a while to get used to, or you know, does it feel like habit now?
- 20:56SPEAKER_01: And she's like, I don't even think about it anymore.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: It's just become a part of my life, and she's been doing it consistently for years, and she has the you know, the set, the success and the growth to to show for it.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: Uh it's just part of her life.
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: Like, you know, if something interesting is going on, she grabs her phone and and tells a quick story or shows what her goofy seven-year-old son is doing.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: Or I think he's might be eight now.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: Either way.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Uh, and people love seeing her because it's her, and so she attracts the right people.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: Every single one of you guys can do the exact same thing, but you just have to be true to you.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: Who are you?
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: What do you like to do?
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: What is your personality like?
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: And let people fricking see it on social media as often as possible.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: And yes, for for you guys that are still like, well, how does that convert to closed business?
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: Because it does, okay?
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: Because it does.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: If you still don't get that, try it.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: Try it just so you can prove me wrong, okay?
- 21:59SPEAKER_01: Try.
- 22:07SPEAKER_01: Alright.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: Um that's it.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: I could continue beating this beating this horse that's already dead, but I don't want to.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: You guys know what to do.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Do the damn thing.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Do the damn thing.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: Alright, um, and for you guys that really want to take your social media content to another level, if you want to do some of the fancy stuff with um, you know, scrolling progress bars and text over the top and bottom, like the stuff that I've been putting on uh on the Massive Agent Facebook page, the Massive Agent Instagram account, and and my LinkedIn, uh, basically just taking clips of this podcast and putting it on social.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: I use a company called Blank Slate.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: Uh, I absolutely love them.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: It's it's an extremely good value.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: Um, they'll do a bunch of videos for me.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: You just have to give really good direction on, hey, do this this certain way, and maybe give some examples in the beginning.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: But now I just send over my podcast episode and I'm like, hey, find me two or three different clips that are two minutes long, and they'll let they'll watch it, they'll they'll clip it out, they'll send it to me.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: Maybe I'll adjust the headlines that the the video graphics should say, and then they they do it for me.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: It's been an incredible value.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: So if you guys want to check out Blank Slate, I highly recommend it.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: If you guys are doing a podcast, if you're doing any kind of uh real content, um maybe you're a YouTuber in your local area, you have a podcast or a social media show, and you want to start doing what's called micro content where you chop up like a full-length podcast episode into little clips to get people to listen to the big episode, I highly recommend blank slate.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: You can check them out at massive agentpodcast.com slash blank slate, B-L-A-N-K, S-L-A-T-E, you know, like blank slate.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: So check them out.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: Um when you compare their cost to what it costs to hire a person, like if you were to get an assistant to do it, it's so much cheaper.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: And their system is dialed in.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: Uh I can't get enough of them.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm the the reason I'm able to do all that content consistently like that now, and the reason I can do this podcast on YouTube with video is because of blank slate.
- 24:13SPEAKER_01: I just I I send it over to them, they do the the hard work, you know, the time consuming stuff.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: I just adjust a couple things, say, hey, do this headline instead, or hey, maybe chop that first 10 seconds off, and and they do it.
- 24:25SPEAKER_01: If they send me back the finished product and I post it.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: So you guys can do that too.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: Blank slate, massive agentpodcast.com slash blank slate.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: I believe you get a little discount by using that link.

- 24:37SPEAKER_01: They are an amazing company that I use.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: Um, I would not be recommending them if I didn't.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: So check them out.

- 24:47SPEAKER_01: If you're not watching on YouTube, please do go over to the Massive Agent YouTube channel, hit subscribe because not only are we putting these full-length podcast episodes on YouTube now, we're also taking clips of the podcast and you know, little subjects, little topics here or there, putting those uh in clips of their own on YouTube.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: And then very soon, once I get myself a new camera and a much better background, I'll be doing because background sucks.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: I've had this for years, it's bullshit.
- 25:13SPEAKER_01: Uh, once I can dial that in, make it look a little better, a little more presentable, uh, we'll be doing videos sp uh especially and specifically for YouTube.
