- 0:19Speaker 1: Hello everybody, Welcome back to Freaky Friday with your spicy
- 0:22Speaker 1: host Ashy and Tiana.
- 0:24Speaker 2: It's not ash Nody, my God, Stephanie. They're on vacae, Tatiana.
- 0:29Speaker 2: We are here with another Freaky Friday submission, totally anonymous.
- 0:33Speaker 2: We don't know who sends he's in, but we have
- 0:34Speaker 2: a very interesting one and a very Freaky Friday situation.
- 0:39Speaker 2: So shall we get into it?
- 0:40Speaker 1: Yes, let's do it.
- 0:43Speaker 2: So. I've been seeing my therapist for over a year now.
- 0:45Speaker 2: She's honestly amazing. She's helped me unpack so much. I've
- 0:49Speaker 2: cried in her office. I've vented about toxic ex's trust
- 0:53Speaker 2: issues and all of my childhood trauma. She's basically the
- 0:56Speaker 2: woman keeping my Sunday together. A few months back, I
- 1:00Speaker 2: met this guy on a hinge super charming emotional intelligence
- 1:03Speaker 2: and had me laughing and thinking we had a very
- 1:06Speaker 2: fun night together. Yep, we started casually seeing each other,
- 1:11Speaker 2: but then he mentions that his mum was a therapist.
- 1:14Speaker 2: But to be honest, I really didn't think much of it.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Sydney's small Right fast forward to a regular Thursday session.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I'm mid download about a situation ship that fizzled out,
- 1:23Speaker 2: and I glance at her desk and freeze.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Oh no, it's a photo of him, is it?
- 1:28Speaker 2: There's a photo of him, Oh, smiling in a family
- 1:31Speaker 2: pig with her, my actual therapist. I felt the blood
- 1:35Speaker 2: drain from my body. I look like a ghost. I
- 1:39Speaker 2: still haven't told her, and I haven't told him, and
- 1:41Speaker 2: now I feel like I need another therapist just to
- 1:43Speaker 2: process this therapist. What do I even do? Do I
- 1:47Speaker 2: switch therapists, confess or hope that she never connects the dots? Oh?
- 1:50Speaker 2: My goodness, goodness me girl.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I think I'd probably just tell her. Yeah. I think
- 1:55Speaker 1: I'd be like, oh my gosh, I've met your son. Oh,
- 1:59Speaker 1: she'd be like, really, have you like one? If she's
- 2:01Speaker 1: just cool and like cool, my son's amazing. Yeah, you're amazing.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You're doing the work, you're getting therapy, you're working on yourself. Like,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I don't think she'd have a problem with it.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah, what's like and what's the intention?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Is this?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Just like it casual? Seeing like, what's your intention with
- 2:13Speaker 2: your son?
- 2:13Speaker 1: If it's just a friends with benefit. Maybe no need
- 2:15Speaker 1: to tell me. But if this is leading to a relationship,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I would be like, oh my gosh, is that your son? Yeah?
- 2:20Speaker 1: May we like make a joke of it?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Well, yeah, because eventually, if you're gonna go for family
- 2:24Speaker 2: dinner and meet them, you may as well tell her
- 2:26Speaker 2: straight off the bat.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Or that would be so funny, right, like tell him
- 2:29Speaker 1: what the situation him, be like, oh my god, come
- 2:31Speaker 1: over for dinner, knock on the door, and like record
- 2:34Speaker 1: her reaction.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Oh my god, she keeps like poker face or she's
- 2:37Speaker 2: like oh hi hi. Yeah. Yeah, that would be such
- 2:40Speaker 2: an interesting dynamic.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I know. I wonder if she's just cool and crazy.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't think she'd have a problem with it. Surely
- 2:45Speaker 1: not because she can see she's like super aware and
- 2:47Speaker 1: conscious and wanting to better herself and work through her
- 2:49Speaker 1: childhood trauma.
- 2:50Speaker 2: But then also she knows only the deepest like a secrets.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe maybe the things that you've like done fayful,
- 2:55Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that's crazy.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Yeah, the chances that's interesting as well her knowing and
- 3:00Speaker 2: not saying that that would change the way that she
- 3:02Speaker 2: sees you or anything, because it definitely does not. I
- 3:04Speaker 2: want what that would be like as a therapist, to
- 3:07Speaker 2: be like, oh my god, my client is now dating
- 3:08Speaker 2: my son, like you know, oh, I know she's got
- 3:10Speaker 2: all this trouble that's going to impact him. Yeah, holds
- 3:13Speaker 2: back then, yeah, but then it sounds like he's emotionally
- 3:16Speaker 2: intelligent as well, and having a parent as a therapist
- 3:19Speaker 2: so super helpful. It's very handy, so he would know
- 3:22Speaker 2: how to hold you and whatever it is that came
- 3:24Speaker 2: up for you.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Oh that's crazy. What are the chances? I honestly, Yeah,
- 3:27Speaker 1: I feel like the Goldcoas is very small like this,
- 3:30Speaker 1: everyone knows everyone and it's kind of connected in some
- 3:33Speaker 1: such way.
- 3:34Speaker 2: It's so true. Sydney is very much like that too. True.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Sydney is very clique and everyone has their bubbles.
- 3:39Speaker 1: But like it is so big and busy.
- 3:41Speaker 2: It feels like that. But once you get to know
- 3:43Speaker 2: it and you hang around, like you kind of get
- 3:45Speaker 2: to know the people who know everybody. Yeah, it's not
- 3:47Speaker 2: as big as you think it might be big like
- 3:50Speaker 2: on the map, but everybody kind of goes to the
- 3:52Speaker 2: same places, right, he's everyone, that's rights.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Yeah, So I don't like about small towns as everyone
- 3:57Speaker 1: knows everyone's business. Yeah, got chess from Sheparton and my
- 4:00Speaker 1: girlfriend Shana lives in Shepperton too, and everyone just knows
- 4:03Speaker 1: everyone like she like, everyone knows everyone's business. As soon
- 4:06Speaker 1: as something happens to anyone in their life, their kids,
- 4:09Speaker 1: with their work, with their relationship or friendship, like anything
- 4:12Speaker 1: that's happened, everyone's talking about it.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Honestly, That's why I moved out of Wollongong. Oh.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I'm like, no, thank you.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Saong is the same. It's so terribly like, yeah, everyone
- 4:21Speaker 2: just wants to know everyone's business. Everyone's in everyone's pockets
- 4:24Speaker 2: like everyone's like related there too, so like it's you know,
- 4:28Speaker 2: everyone's famili's big gossip all that sort of stuff.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Like every place is probably similar, hair, I think so too.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It's quite nosy on the Gold Coast, but there's.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Not a lot happening in Wollongong, so I think because
- 4:38Speaker 2: there's not a lot happening, everyone's like when something does happen,
- 4:40Speaker 2: everyone knows about it.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Small country. Yeah, something happens, it's like whoa yeah, oh wow,
- 4:46Speaker 1: like hot gossip. Well whoever wrote this in Gosh with
- 4:49Speaker 1: Love an update? Like are you going to tell her?
- 4:51Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, you're going to tell him or is
- 4:53Speaker 1: this just a little fling the apping fun with and
- 4:55Speaker 1: like it's done. But if he's a fun I'm assuming
- 4:57Speaker 1: it's going to continue. I'm not going to say no
- 5:00Speaker 1: to that.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Enjoying it absolutely, And if you have all the intentions
- 5:04Speaker 2: to pursue something, yeah, and that's a different story.
- 5:07Speaker 1: We need an update.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, let us know. What would you do, babe?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I would make a joke at my
- 5:13Speaker 1: therapy session, especially if it's going further and I'm continuing
- 5:16Speaker 1: to see him. I'll just be like, oh, who's this
- 5:19Speaker 1: handsome boy. She'd be like, oh, that's my son, be
- 5:21Speaker 1: like yeah, I know, I know, and just see how
- 5:25Speaker 1: she responds to that.
- 5:26Speaker 2: If she got uncomfortable and don't do the sessions anymore,
- 5:28Speaker 2: that's also okay.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Yeah, this is okay for you to change therapist as well,
- 5:31Speaker 1: of course, But I think i'd tell them both. I'm
- 5:33Speaker 1: just an honest person. I don't feel like I beat
- 5:35Speaker 1: around the bush. Yeah, I'd rather just talk and get
- 5:37Speaker 1: you awkwardness out of the way, but also not assume
- 5:39Speaker 1: that they're going to be upset or it's going to
- 5:41Speaker 1: be awkward. It could be really fun and fine, Yeah,
- 5:43Speaker 1: don't always assume the worst.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that it has to be a problem.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, might not be a problem. Awkward, like, oh my god,
- 5:48Speaker 1: my son's great.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yes, that's getting on and then she's like you're great. Yeah.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You know what I would love to know. I would
- 5:53Speaker 2: love to know if you have told her about him?
- 5:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because if you've said some things around like
- 5:58Speaker 2: past situationships, how in depth have you gone to actually
- 6:02Speaker 2: talk to her about her own son? Yeah, you know, like,
- 6:04Speaker 2: have you said anything that's like intimate or that's sexual
- 6:08Speaker 2: so great in bed? Oh my gosh, could you imagine?
- 6:11Speaker 2: I could not imagine that would Oh my god, that
- 6:13Speaker 2: would be so funny.
- 6:14Speaker 1: It would be really funny. But we love an updates.
