- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:41Hi, it's Adam here. And in this episode of The
- 0:43Hypnotist, you're going to be listening to a hypnosis session
- 0:46that was created for a client that had had.
- 0:50Very serious. Levels of fatigue and aches and
- 0:53pains and other. Issues that was.
- 0:55Really negatively affecting their life and it's highly
- 1:01likely that it's some form of autoimmune issue, possibly long
- 1:07COVID or some kind of trauma response.
- 1:11What I wanted to do in this session with the client is to do
- 1:152 key things. One is to reconnect with the
- 1:19time that they didn't feel that way and to give new meanings to
- 1:25previous events that were considered traumatic.
- 1:29And to give. Them empowering meanings.
- 1:32There's elements of timeline therapy here, but also.
- 1:35One of the. Key things is to have a
- 1:37presupposition of. Things getting better.
- 1:41Of reintroducing hope. And the reason?
- 1:44For that is, it's very possible to have belief cycles that.
- 1:48Lead to. Self fulfilling prophecies which
- 1:51are disempowering a lot of people.
- 1:53If they feel that they're in a bad place medically or
- 1:58energetically, and it's always going to be that way, then that
- 2:02tends to have feelings of hopelessness.
- 2:04Which? In turn, suppresses the immune
- 2:07system, which leads to. More of that.
- 2:10So the goal. Here is to rekindle, reactivate
- 2:14resource states, give new meanings to traumatic events of
- 2:17the past, and to have suggestions that things will
- 2:21improve and that they are an exceptional person and they had
- 2:27enough evidence in their life that that was true.
- 2:30But sometimes. Very high performers are the
- 2:33harshest critic of themselves. So it was.
- 2:36Really important that they started a value started to
- 2:39evaluate themselves in the same way that.
- 2:42Other people. Were evaluating them and
- 2:45sometimes you get that dissonance that other people are
- 2:49very encouraged and inspired by an individual, but the
- 2:53individual themself is very. Harsh and.
- 2:55Mean to themself and it comes from a good place.
- 2:58It's about high standards, but it can lead to, you know, a
- 3:02difficult emotional relationship with themselves, particularly
- 3:06when they're spending time alone.
- 3:08So there's a bit going on in this session, but at its core
- 3:10it's about reawakening times of feeling.
- 3:14Alive and energized. And worthy and confident, and a
- 3:18presupposition that fatigue will fail and dissipate.
- 3:23And energy. And passion and.
- 3:25Joy and confidence will become more a current this was created.
- 3:31For a very. Specific individual so the
- 3:33references won't make sense for you because you're not the
- 3:37client. But some of the abroad
- 3:40suggestions will be very helpful I think for lots of different
- 3:42people. But if you do like the idea of a
- 3:45customized bespoke session for you, there will be a link in the
- 3:48show notes where you can schedule that free consultation
- 3:51call that we can have a chat about working together.
- 3:53For now though, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 3:56won't be disturbed. Relax.
- 3:58And enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 4:34you breathe in, breathe in a lovely feeling of warm
- 4:39relaxation. And as you exhale, just allow
- 4:45any feelings of stress or worry to feel like it's leaving your
- 4:52body in your outward breath. And notice with your eyes closed
- 5:00just how much more of your attention you can give to the
- 5:06sound of my voice. And you don't need to
- 5:13consciously hear my words. Just allow your unconscious to
- 5:22listen and respond in wonderful ways.
- 5:30That gives you more of what you want and less of what you don't.
- 5:36And when you breathe in, allow yourself to breathe in slightly
- 5:44deeper, and as you exhale, elongate the outward breath so
- 5:57you breathe out for longer and breathe in for deeper.
- 6:04And the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you become.
- 6:10And the more relaxed you become, the deeper you breathe.
- 6:18And as your body relaxes, your imagination awakens.
- 6:28I want you to think back to a time, perhaps the best summer or
- 6:37the best year of your life so far.
- 6:44Just imagine going back to that point in time.
- 6:51I want you to imagine walking around impressive museums, the
- 6:57look of historical buildings. I want you to see the reflection
- 7:04of a confident, healthy, vibrant person in the reflection of a
- 7:11river. I want you to reconnect with
- 7:16that version of you. You feel energetic, alive,
- 7:24almost like a dial is turning, increasing your ability to feel
- 7:33good, to look good. More energy, less tiredness and
- 7:43reconnect with that version of you.
- 7:50Perhaps you could imagine being somewhere indoors, maybe
- 7:57watching a sport. And I wonder how good it would
- 8:01feel if a random stranger is irresistibly drawn towards you,
- 8:12complimenting you. Just imagine that eye contact
- 8:20being held. Feel just as good as you did in
- 8:27that moment, as you feel you are awakening old neural pathways.
- 8:39Neural pathways Beliefs. Some people consider a belief to
- 8:48be a doorway to new emotions. When one belief changes, it
- 8:57opens up emotions like vitality, energy, passion, enthusiasm,
- 9:05self belief, self-confidence. I wonder what you believed in
- 9:11that moment. You believed that you were
- 9:16enough. You believed that you were
- 9:18desirable. You believed that you were
- 9:20worthy, you were valuable, you were you.
- 9:30So turn on all of those beliefs that you had back then right
- 9:35now, and just imagine doorways opening and releasing all of the
- 9:44resources connected to those beliefs.
- 9:50When people feel good enough, they tend to feel more
- 9:59enthusiastic about life. When people feel like they're
- 10:05attractive, confidence and joy is just amplified in every
- 10:18essence of their life. I want you to imagine staring
- 10:23into the eyes of that stranger and being hypnotically drawn in
- 10:32to a new world, this feeling where you are enough, you feel
- 10:38good, you feel energized. Just imagine going back to your
- 10:42childhood, to a moment when you as a child were being
- 10:48criticized. And I want you to see that that
- 10:54criticism did something's good. Maintaining high standards,
- 11:02rewarding you for a good work ethic, but also made a game less
- 11:09winnable. I want you to imagine seeing
- 11:14that younger version of you at a time when they were on their
- 11:19own. And I want you to tell them that
- 11:24you are them from their future and see a look of disbelief on
- 11:31that younger version of you's face.
- 11:37But you know them. Tell them a secret that only
- 11:41they would know to prove to them that you are them in the future.
- 11:48And when you've convinced them, let me know by nodding your
- 11:52head. I want you to tell them all the
- 11:58things that were true back then but they didn't hear.
- 12:03Tell them they are smart, capable.
- 12:09Tell them that they are awesome. Tell them all the things that
- 12:15you've accomplished that would blow their mind.
- 12:21Let them know their future is not mediocre.
- 12:29They are destined for greatness because the top 1% of anything
- 12:35is exceptional. So you can tell them that they
- 12:39are exceptional knowing that it is 100% true.
- 12:46And don't leave that room until they are totally convinced that
- 12:52they are exceptional, that they learn fast.
- 12:58But also let them know. Let them know that encouragement
- 13:05and inspiration is a much better way of moving forward than
- 13:13harsh, mean criticism. I want you to make an agreement
- 13:20with them back then when they were a child, that they will be
- 13:26kind and encouraging to themselves and seal that deal
- 13:32with a handshake. And when they've shaken your
- 13:36hand, let me know by nodding your head.
- 13:45That's it. A contract has been made back in
- 13:49your past that ripples through time all the way to the here and
- 13:52the now. So let's see those changes go
- 13:59forwards in time a year, and perhaps see that younger version
- 14:04of you, one year older, receiving harsh criticism from
- 14:10their mother, but taking it in the spirit that it's intended
- 14:16not to berate and not to break them, but to encourage high
- 14:22standards, see them immune to that criticism that younger
- 14:32version of them believes. They are exceptional.
- 14:35Irrespective of whether they are perfect or not, perfection does
- 14:42not exist but the top 1% does. To pursue perfection is futile.
- 14:51To pursue being exceptional is wonderful.
- 14:59And see that child growing in confidence, growing in belief.
- 15:06See a child that is becoming energized day by day and then
- 15:12imagine going forwards in time, all the way forward.
- 15:21See that version of you in your college years, but on a
- 15:27different trajectory? See that version of you with no
- 15:32desire for drinking drugs? See yourself energized and
- 15:38vitalized. See that version of you pursuing
- 15:44stimulation of all kinds, emotional, intellectual?
- 15:50See a version of you seeking out adventures and opportunities?
- 15:57And if that new timeline of you in college seems more appealing
- 16:02than what actually happened, you know by nodding your head and
- 16:08then step into that version of you feel what it would feel like
- 16:14to have had that experience. Doesn't mean every day's
- 16:22perfect, but setbacks and failures just feel like blips
- 16:28and the overall trend is towards being exceptional.
- 16:37Feel your neurology. Updating technology like
- 16:44software and phones update every few weeks or months.
- 16:48But how often do we update our belief systems?
- 16:54Our own internal firmware feel that you are updating yours now
- 17:00to to reflect the belief that you are exceptional, you are
- 17:06energized, you are worthy, you are more than good enough.
- 17:16The definition of being exceptional, if good enough is
- 17:21the middle of a normal distribution curve.
- 17:23Exceptional. It's that very, very final bit
- 17:27of the curve. You are exceptional.
- 17:35Update your belief systems to reflect that as it ripples
- 17:38through time. When people feel unworthy and
- 17:44not good enough, they lower their standards.
- 17:48They settle. When people feel exceptional,
- 17:53they raise their standards. They're more discerning.
- 17:58And I want you to go forwards in time and see how that new
- 18:01version of you would have dealt with a possible relationship.
- 18:10That new version of you would have picked up on red flags
- 18:12quicker, would have been more discerning.
- 18:21I want you to see a version of you that would have done things
- 18:23differently, because a near miss is not a loss, it's a win
- 18:34because you mitigated a risk that could have been so much
- 18:37worse. I want you to feel proud of that
- 18:41version of you that avoided something worse.
- 18:46Not traumatized by something that was undesirable, but proud
- 18:50of yourself for not letting it get any worse.
- 18:57And if you feel that you can see your past in that new way, where
- 19:02you feel it was a lucky escape, a near miss, or just an act of
- 19:09discernment, let me know about nodding your head.
- 19:20And then let's go further in time.
- 19:23See yourself in the present as you would want to be.
- 19:30See yourself having letting go of the pain and the baggage of
- 19:34the past. See yourself day by day feeling
- 19:42more energized and healthier. See yourself as someone that's
- 19:47let go of the baggage of the past.
- 19:51See yourself Where your cells are recharging, your body is
- 19:58revitalized. What if the best you've ever
- 20:03felt is not in your past, but your future?
- 20:09What if the best you've ever looked is in your future?
- 20:16The healthiest you've ever been is in your future?
- 20:20See that future now? The past is behind you now,
- 20:31fading like a dream at sunrise and a headline's clarity, power,
- 20:37and purpose. Because your body knows how to
- 20:41heal. It's already doing it in subtle
- 20:44ways. Systems are restoring functions
- 20:48improving. I want you to feel that fatigue
- 20:57sometimes is a gentle nudge toward nourishment, movement,
- 21:05and balance, an opportunity to be kind and encouraging to
- 21:11yourself. And what if each morning you
- 21:16wake up with just a little more spark, a bit more energy, more
- 21:22motivation to move, to create, to live fully?
- 21:29Tension is dissolving, cramps unwinding your body softening
- 21:34into comfort and strength. I wonder if you can let go of
- 21:42those old burdens in your body. You're releasing them.
- 21:49Never. You go for a swim or a warm
- 21:53bath, have a stretch or a massage, you're reminding
- 21:59yourselves as to what it feels like to be free of tension.
- 22:10Some people hold the past inside their body, and it's time to let
- 22:17that go. And every echo of the past that
- 22:24you let go, the more wonderful opportunities will appear before
- 22:29you. And every time you say yes to an
- 22:34opportunity, trust that your body will give you the energy
- 22:41and resources you need to see that opportunity through.
- 22:50The more active you become, the more you are voting in that
- 22:56wonderful. Future.
- 23:00You're not waiting to feel healthy.
- 23:03You're doing things that are based on a presupposition that
- 23:06you're getting healthier. You are seizing the day, taking
- 23:12the initiative, trusting that your body will respond to your
- 23:18intentions, and as your nervous system relaxes, your energy
- 23:24returns like sunlight after a storm.
- 23:31Feel that this storm is subsiding and brighter days are
- 23:36ahead. Feel that you are stepping into
- 23:40a new identity, or perhaps reawakening an old one.
- 23:46Someone who feels alive, strong, healthy and deeply, fully
- 23:54accepting of themselves. And as these beliefs feel like
- 24:02they're becoming true, let me know by nodding your head and
- 24:08then see the eyes of someone, a stranger that was irresistibly
- 24:17attracted to you. This is all the evidence you
- 24:23need that you were enough, you are enough, and you will always
- 24:31be enough. I want you to imagine leaving
- 24:38that place, a place in your imagination.
- 24:44Of. Thoughts within thoughts and
- 24:45ideas within ideas and dreams within dreams.
- 24:51And allow your mind to wander and wonder about wonderful
- 24:59possibilities that exist in your future.
- 25:04And as you listen to my words, you may feel an urge to continue
- 25:09exploring these wonderful possibilities in your
- 25:12imagination. Or you may decide to awaken.
- 25:19I will count from 1:00 to 10:00. And if you desire to stay in
- 25:24this place, the numbers will make you even deeper relaxed.
- 25:33And if you desire to awaken, the numbers will awaken you.
- 25:38Allow your intuition to decide 123, 456, 789, and 10.
